1. Introduction : Hello, everyone. I'm Uni and into this class, we'll drop the Mushroom characters. This class doesn't require any prior experience or fancy tools. We'll start from scratch and we'll be using simple techniques throughout the process. Everything you'll see will be happening in Procrit. However, if you have a software or want to try traditional materials, you're welcome to join. If you are ready to start, let's jump right into it. 2. Basic Scheme: Let's begin our class firstly by deciding what kind of canvas we are going to be in. Today, we're using a standard, simple, square canvas that you can find in Procreate, our both pixel width and pixel hide are set at 2048 pixels. If you would like to use any other dimensions free canvas, just go for it. DPI 300 and our color profile is set as SRGB weigh this low number. When it's all done, let it do, we will be redirected to our new canvas. Let zoom out our canvas, so we will see the whole canvas, and then we will need to decide what kind of colors we're going to be using throughout the whole class. If you want, you can pick your own colors, but if you want to follow along and use the same colors that you will see throughout the class, please go to the project and recess up and download all the materials. When you did it, the first network we need to do into our illustration is to change the color of our background. Let us go to our layers, and we will go to our background color layer. On the bottom, you can see we have our color palette, but for us, it will be easier to go under palettes right here on the bottom right, and here go under cards. Here we have all the colors names and it will be easier for us to navigate through them. The first thing that we are doing is selecting our background color, and we've changed the color of our background. The next thing that we will need to do is to go and pick the brush for our sketch. Let's just go to our brush library, and we'll go to the sketch and folder. You can select any brush that you like here. You can try it onto a canvas. If you don't like it, get back to the brush library, select another brush and find what works for you. When you found the brush, let's just go again to our color palettes will go under cards here too, and we will select our dark sea and blue color. With this color, we will first go and start creating a little scheme. Firstly, let's just go somewhere in the middle of our canvas. Actually, it doesn't matter where we go right now. We just need to go and create a shape of the circle. With one line, let just create a shape and at the end, we will hold it. You can make sure that you are making it bigger or smaller by moving your apple pencil from side to side. For now, let's just go with something like that. When you have the size that you like, let's just lift up our Apple pencil and we will go over the top to this option that pops up that is now called ellipse. We will go there. It is our editing mode, and here on the top, we will choose the option circle. Now we have a perfectly round circle, and we just need to go away from our editing mode. Let's just step on the screen either with one of our fingers or with our Apple pencil. When we have this first element, let's go again to our layers and we will create one more layer on top. When we did it, we will go over the top part of our first element, and we'll create another shape and this time it will be an ps. The same way as before, just creating a shape and holding it at the end. Make it as big as you like. This is our cap of the mushroom. For now, let's just go with something like that. Again, we will go over our top to the editing mode. Let's try to position it right in the middle. So we have equal space on both sides. If you want to position it more horizontally, we can just go to one of the nodes. For example, to one node that we have on the top, we can hold our Apple pencil there and we can move it and find a placement of our. If you want to adjust something else, for example, you have different space right here on the letter and on the right and you want it to be equal. You can go to the node on one of the sides and do the same thing as we did on top. We can just move it a little bit more toward the center, so we have enough space on both sides and it is equal. Now when we have something like that, let's just drag it a little bit higher. To do that, we will need to hold our apple pencil at some blink space and just move our element to the place that we want it to be. For example, let's just go with something like that, and when we have the result like that, let's just step on the screen to get away from our editing mode. Now, let's just go and put all of our elements, both of them a little bit lower, so we will have a bit of space on the top so we can add more details here. To do that, we will need to go again to our layers, and when we have one layer selected, we will go to our next layer, and we will swipe it from left to right. Now, two layers are selected, and we will go to our okey on the top left. On the bottom, we are using uniform methods, and you can see we have this bounding box. Let's just go to some blink space. Let's just hold our Apple pencil and let's just find the place for this elements. So for now, let's position it in something like that. And when you have the result like that, let's just deselect everything by heating our arrow key. Now, when we have these two elements and when we position them onto our canvas, let's again go to our las and create one more layer. Firstly, let's just deselect what we have here. We will tap on one of the layers, and then we will just tap on the plus icon. When we did it, we will go to our new layer. Firstly, let's just go over the top of our first circle and we'll create a little curve there. So just going there and creating a curve on the top and trying to make it parallel to this line that we have on the top of our ps. If we need to adjust it, we are going over the top to our editing mode and adjusting it. You can vary the position on these elements, take a look at everything here and decide where you want this little elements to be. When you are satisfied with everything here, let's just tap on the screen to get away from our editing mode, and then again, we will go to our lis and create one more layer on top. Now, we will go to one of the sides of the ellipse, and we will go with a b curve like that. We are going to the opposite side and we are connecting our new shape with our previous one. If you need to adjust it, going over the top to our editing mode. Find the position and the size of the element and the courage of this line that you would like. When you're satisfied, let just get away from our edit mode. Now, let's just take a look at everything here and decide whether we want to move our top part a little bit down. To do that, we can just go to our layers and select all the layers except our layer with the circle. Again, we are selecting these three layers on top, and then we are going to our arrow key. Let's just move it down a little bit, and when you are satisfied with the placement on the elements, let's deselect everything by hitting our arrow key. Now, let's just go and erase all the lines that we don't need. Firstly, let's just go to our layers and we will go to our layer with the circle. We will go and grab our eraser and we will erase the top part. When you did it, we will get back to our layers, and we will go to our layer with an ellipse. We will go again to our eraser and we will erase this line that we have in the back. Now when we have the result like that, let's just get back to our less and we will combine all these layers together. To do that, you can go to one of the layer that you have on the top and put one finger there and one finger you will put on the layer that you have on the bottom and you will make a pinch movement. Or you can do it manually by going to the top layer, tapping on it, and select and merge down. We'll do it a few more times until we have only one layer with all of our elements. Now, when we have the result like that, let's just take a look at it and decide whether we want to adjust it or not. For example, we can squish it a little bit to make it more acute. When we have this layer selected, we will go to our key one more time, and on the bottom, we will go to our option free form. When we have this option selected, we will go to this node that we have in the middle on the top, and we will just hold our apple pencil there and we will drag it down. For example, let's just go with something like that, and then we will just go again to our key and we will deselect everything by heating on it. When we have the result like that, let's just go to our next part, where we'll be adjusting the sheep and creating the sketches for our characters. 3. Cheerful Mushroom Sketch: Begin this fight firstly by going to our layers, and we will go to this layer that we have right now and we will rename it as scheme. Let's just tap on the screen and choose rename from the list. Now, when we did it, let's just make a copy on this layer, so we will swit this layer from right to left and we will choose duplicate. Just for now, we will go to this first layer and we will hide it because we will use it later on again. Let's just go to this little check mark right here and we will tap on it to hide this layer. Then we will just go to this layer that we have on top and we will go to our arrow key. We'll use uniform method, and we will make this element a little bit smaller. For example, let's just go to this node that we have on the bottom right and we will drag it up. Find the size that you like, and when you have it, let's just move this element more toward the left and the top. For example, let's just go with something like that. If you want to rotate it, you're welcome to go and do that. For example, let's just go to this green note over the top. We will hold our apple pencil there and we will make a rotational movement. Find the placement and the rotation that you like, and when you have what you like, if you don't want to adjust it anymore, we will go to our key and we will deselect everything. If you want to adjust it, you can go to the free form method, and for example, maybe make it a little bit more open. When you have the result that you like, let's deselect everything by hitting our arrow key. Now, when we have something like that, let's just go again to our brush, and let's start adding some details. Firstly, let's just go over the top to this cap, and let's create a few elements here. Let's just go and create the additional lines like that. We will go later and we will recover them. Let's just go and add a few of them of different size and different placement of these elements. When you have something like that, let's just go and start adding some legs. For example, let's just go over the bottom. We will go and find the center of this element. We will make a little mark down like that. When we have it, we will go to the sides from it and we will start by creating two lines going in that way. Of course, if you would like to experiment and find a different placement for your legs, you're welcome to go and do that. Firstly, when we have these two lines, let's just go over the left side firstly, and we will go and add the thickness to this little line. We will step a bit to the right and we will create another line going down in that way. You can make these two lines parallel to one another, or you can just make them a little bit more wide on the bottom. When we have these on our left, let's just do the same on our right. Again, going a little bit more toward the center and creating a line going down in that way. When you have something like that, let's just go to the bottom, firstly, again, let's just go over our left side. We will go and create a little element like that on the bottom, and then we'll create a horizontal line going toward the center, and we will connect it with our line that we have going on a vertical axis. When we have this, let's just go over our right and do the same thing here. You can go and make sure that you are doing it on one line. If you need to elongate the legs, you are welcome to go and do that. Again, we are starting with this little element on the side and then creating a horizontal line like that and connecting it with our main shape. When we have our legs, let's just go and create a little arms. Firstly, let's just go over our left, we go a little bit lower. Then we have our intersection between the shapes, and we will just create a curve like that. When we have this curve will go over our right side and create a curve going up in that way. If you want to experiment and create different arms, you are welcome to go and do that. Now again, we will go and create the thickness. Firstly, we are stepping a bit from this first curve and then just go in there and creating something in that way. In the end, we will connect our shape very nicely with a smooth curve. When we have something like that, we'll go to the opposite side and create something similar here. Try to make the thickness of the element similar on both sides. When we have these arms, let's just go and add just one finger. We will go over our left side firstly, we'll go to the right side of this element and we will create a little element like that. When we have it on the first arm, let's just go to the opposite side and create something similar here. Go on top and creating a little element like that. When we have something like that, let's just go and add the facial features. Firstly, if you need to, we can just go and create a cross like that, so it will show us the approximate center on this element. When we have it, we will go a little bit higher than our line that we have on the horizontal axis, and we will start by creating a little. Let's just go and create a shape on the circle somewhere here. Of course, you can just go and adjust the size of this element. You can adjust the placement of it. You can adjust the distance from the center. It's all up to you. When you have the first eye, let's just go to the opposite side and create something similar here. Again, we are trying to put it on the same line and we are trying to keep the distance from the center similar to what we have on our left. When we have the second eye, let's just go right between them, and we will create a little smiley mouth like that. Of course, if you would like to experiment with facial features, you are welcome to go and do that. When we have these eyes and when we have our mouth, let's just go above the eye and let's create a little brows like that. Again, if you want to experiment with something here, you are welcome to go and do that. When we have facial features, let's just go underneath our eyes, and let's create little elements for the cheeks. You can go with the shapes of the psis or just with circles. When we have something like that, let's just zoom out our canvas and see how everything looks. When we have everything done, let's just go again to our arrow key, and we will use uniform method and we will make this whole character a little bit smaller. Again, going into one of the corners and dragging it up or down depending on the corner. When you have something like that, when you have the result that you like, let's just go and deselect everything by hitting our arrow key. And when we have our first character, let's move on to our next part. We'll create the second one. 4. Flower Mushroom Sketch: Let's begin this part firstly by going to our layers and again, we will make a copy on this layer with the scheme. So let's just go there and swipe our layer from right to left and choose duplicate. Also, you can just go to this first mushroom that you have created and rename it as cheerful mushroom. So let's just stop on this layer. Let's choose rename and give it a different name. And then let just get back to the copy that we have created and let's unhide this layer. When it is selected, one more time, we will go to our key. We'll use uniform method and we will make this whole shape smaller. You can try to keep the same size that you have right here on your left or if you want, you can just go and experiment with the size of this element. Also, let's move it to our right, and let's just find the placement for it. If you want to rotate it, you are welcome to go and ratate it. In that case, let's just go with something like that. If you want to adjust the shape even more, you can go under free form and adjust it from here. When you have the result like that, let's just go to our arrow key and we will deselect everything. Now, let's just go and start working on our little elements here. Again, we are getting back to our brush, and we will go over the top and we will start creating these additional elements on the cap of our mushroom. You can go and repeat what you have right here on your left or if you want you can experiment and create something different here. Very easily, let's just go and create a few on these half circles or half epses and add some beautifications to our cap. When you are done, let's move on to the bottom and let's start creating our little legs and our little arms. For this character, let's just go with something in that way. We will go a little bit down. Again, we will start by finding the center of this shape by making a little mark down. From this mark down, we will go to the right and we will create a shape going in that way. Firstly, let's just go with a curve like that, and we will go more toward the right, so it will be our little leg here. When we have it, we will go and add some thickness to it. We are going again to the top and we are just repeating the same curve that we have here. If it's not happening from the first right, try out one more time. When you have something like that, we will go to this bottom part of our leg, which is now horizontal, and we will again create a little line like that, and we will connect it with the whole shape of our leg. If you want to, you can work more on the sheep. If you want, you can just go and erase some parts that you don't need. It's all up to you. You can make this curve on the left very curvy, or if you want to, you can play around with this line. Now, when we have something in that way, let's just go and add the second leg. When we have this leg, we will go a little bit more toward the left and we will create a little line going up in that way. Now, when we have something like that, if we have the lines that we want to adjust or ease, we will go to eraser and adjust it. Now when we have these little elements, we will go to this leg that we have on our right that is already done, and we will go a little bit higher from our center and we will create a little element like that. If you want to work more on the sheap you're welcome to go and do that. If you want to move these elements, a little bit more toward the right or to the left, let's just go and do that. To do that, we will need to go to our S ribbon icon, and here on the bottom, we will use free hands methods. Now, very accurately, we will go and select only the element that we would like to move. Let's just go around loop the sheap and select only our legs. When we did it, we will go to our er key one more time, and now you see we have our bounding box. Now we can easily go and move this element somewhere where we want it to be. If we want to rotate it, we will go to our green nodes and rotate it. Just spend some time here and this shape to our lichen. If you want to make it smaller, you can just go to one of the nodes, for example, to this node that we have in the center on our right and make this whole element smaller. Please run with this element, find what works for you. When you're satisfied with it, let's just go and deselect everything by hitting on the first icon that we were using, and it was our S ribbon icon. Now, when we've de selected everything, if you have some elements that you would like to erase. Let's just go grab our eraser and erase these parts. Now, when we are done, let's just get back to our brush and let's go and add little arms. Firstly, we will go over our left and we will go a little bit to our left. If you want to, you can go and make a little markdown some way here. When you have this mark down, let's just go with little line going in that way, and then we will go more toward the right and we will create another arm here. You can go and overlap the leg that you have in the back. Let's just go with something in that way. When you have the result like that, let's just go and add some thickness. Firstly, we are going toward the left side and we will go more toward the center and add the line going in that way. When you have it on your left, let's just go to the right and do the same thing here. Again, you can make these lines parallel to one another, or you can make them a little bit wider on the bota. When you have the result like that, let's just go firstly over our left side, we will go and create a line going in that way. Okay. Connected nicely with the whole sap on the arm. When you have something like that, let's just go and add a little finger right here. Again, connect it nicely with your sap. If you want to adjust it even more, you are welcome to go and do that. When you have the first arm, let's just do the same on our right. Again, let's just go and create a curve going in that way. Go on in the opposite direction, and then we will go and create a little finger like that. Work more in the shap, if you need to and if you have some elements that you need to erase, let just go grab our eraser and erase the parts that we don't need. Again, if you want to adjust these elements or if you want to make them smaller or bigger, we can do it in a different way, for example. Let's just go to our magic quanto, and we'll go under liquefy. Here on the bottom, we have a lot of options. All that we need to select is our push option, and we are not touching any slider except our slider with the sides. Let's just go and adjust the size of our brush. Let's zoom out our canvas, and if you want to adjust some parts, let's just go and push them. For example, let's just work a little bit more onto our arms and let's just make them a little bit smaller and maybe position them a little bit differently. Spend some time here and find what works for you. If you want to adjust other elements, you are welcome to go and do that. You can go to the legs and work on them, too. When you're satisfied with everything here, let's just go and tap twice onto our magic one tool, and then we will get back to our brush. When we did it, let's just go and create facial features. Again, we will start by going to our middle part and we will start by creating a little cross if you need to. When we have this cross, let's just go and create the first eye over our left side. This time, let's just go again above this line that we have on the horizontal axis, and let's create a very happy eye like that. You can play around with the size of this element with its position with everything that you want to play around with. When we have the first eye, let's move on to our opposite side and create something similar here. Try to make the elements similar to one another and when you have them, let's just go right between the eyes, and let's create a smiley mouth like that, and then we will go and create another element and we will add it to our mouth. When we have the mouth, let's just go above it on one side, and let's create a half of the ipse like that, that will represent a little tongue. When we have it, if you want, we can go over our eyes, and we can create little shapes for our eyebrows. When you are done with the eyebrows, let's just go underneath our eyes, and let's create similar cheeks to what we had on our first illustration. When you are satisfied with everything here, let's just go and add one more detail to these little elements. We will go toward our left side and we will go and create a little flower here. Let's first go and create a little stem going in that way. Again, you can play around with the position of the elements, and of course, if you don't want to edit, you are welcome not to. When we have this first stem, let's just go over the top and we will create some petals here. Again, you can play around and create something different. Just find what works for you. When you are done, let's just go to the center and let's add this additional elements. When you are done with this, let's just go and create a little leaves on the sides. Let's just go to one of the sides and let's create a leaf going in that way. Then if you want to, let's just go to the opposite side and create another leaf. We will also go to the bottom part and we will create a little element like that. If you want to adjust the placement of this element, you know what you need to do. You'll need to go over your S ribbon icon and select this element. When you did it, let's just go to our arrow key. Let's just use uniform method. If you want to, you can go and make this element smaller. You can find a different placement for it, maybe different rotation. It's all up to here. When you're satisfied with the position of these elements, let's deselect it by hitting our ribbon icon, and then let's just go and find a different placement for the whole illustration that we have right here. Again, we are going to our arrow key using uniform method and finding a different placement. If you want to change the rotation, you are welcome to go and do that. When you're satisfied with everything here, let's just deselect everything by hitting our arrow key, and then let's move on to our next part where we'll create the next Marsh guy. 5. Ice Cream Mushroom Sketch: Let's begin this part again, going to our layers, and we will go to this layer that we have our second illustration on and we will rename it to something different. Let's just tap on our little layer and we will choose rename from the list. When we did it one more time, we are going back to our scheme layer and we are making another copy by swiping our layer from right to left and choosing duplicate. Now, let's unhind this layer and let's again go to our key, let's make it smaller, and let's position it underneath our first illustration. If you want to rotate it, you're welcome to go and do that. So for example, this time, let's position it in that way. If you want to adjust it even more, go to the free for method and adjust it from here. Okay. You have the position that you like, let's deselect everything by hitting our arrow key and let go and start adding our additional elements in a form of legs and arms. Firstly, let's just go to the legs. We will go again and find the center by making to mark down, and then we will go a little bit toward the left and we will create a line going down in that way. When we have it on the first side, let's just go to the opposite one and create a similar leg right here. When we have these two lines, let's just go and add some thickness to them. Again, going down with the perel lines or making them a little bit wider on the bottom. Doing it on one side and do it on the opposite side too. When we have our legs, let's just go to the bottom and let's create this feet. Connect them nicely with the main shape, and let's just go to the opposite side and create something similar here too. If you want to change the placement of one of the elements, you are welcome to go to the S ribbon icon, select the elements, and then go to key and adjust the placement of your elements. When you're satisfied, let's select what we were selecting and then let's just go and start creating our arms. Firstly, let's just go over our left side and we will start by creating an arm going in that way. We will create a curve going down in that way, and then we will add some thickness to it. One more time, let's just go and create this similar shape to what we had on our first illustration. When we have something like that, let's just grab our eraser and if you have some lines that you need to erase, let's just go and erase them. If you need to work more on the shape, let's just go and do that. When you're satisfied with it, let's just go over our opposite side and let's create another arm here. For example, let's just go a little bit higher. There we have our intersection, and we will just go with a line like that. Let's just go and add some thickness to it and let's create a soft curve of the bottom. When we have something like that, let's just go only to our arm on our right, and let's create this little finger. If you have some lines that you need to ease, grab an eraser and ease it. Now, let's get back to our brush, and we will go and add additional elements on our left. Firstly, let's just go and create a cone of our little ice cream. We will go to this arm that we have here, and we will go and start creating a triangular shape like that. Play around with the size of the element, but try not to go too close to the center of the shape of the face of our mushroom. If you overdid it, let's just grab our eraser and erase the part that we don't need. Also, we can just go and eraase this part right here on our arm, and also this little part that we have for our face. Every part that is overlapping, we don't need it, we can erase it. Then when we have something like that, let's just go over the top of our ice cream and let's create a shape of the ice cream. You can play around with what you want to add here. Just create a little melting part on the bottom and create a nice shape of the ice cream. Again, if you have some parts that you need to ease, grab an eraser and erase it. Now, when we have the result like that, let's just get back to our brush and let's just go and add the facial features. Again, if you can go and create this cross. If you feel very bold, let's just go straight away and let's create our facial features just manually without any additional lines. Firstly, let's just go over our left side and we will create a little e the same shape or a different shape and the opposite sheap from what we had on our second illustration. Let's just go with the shape like that. When we have it, we will just go over the opposite side and we will create the same shape right here. Let's just go and create it in that way. If you see that you are not in a center, we can just go to our S ribbon icon, select these two elements and move them through our arrow key. Find the placement, the size, and maybe the rotation that you would like. When you're satisfied with everything here, let's deselect everything by hitting our S ribbon icon. When we have the result like that, let's just go and create a little mouth. Let us go right between the eyes and let's create a similar shape for our mouth. When we have this sheep, let's just go and create a little tongue. This tank we will position in that way, so it is going to our ice cream. Let's just go and adjust it if you need to. If you want to add any additional elements, you are welcome to go and do that. For example, we can just go over the top part and we can create little eyebrows going in that way or in any way that you would prefer. Also, let go right underneath our eyes and let's create little cheeks. Now, let's just take a look at everything here and also let's just go over the top and let's add these additional elements that we had before. Again, you can repeat what you had before or if you want to experiment, you can go and try out something different. Now, let's just take a look at our illustration and decide whether we want to adjust something or not. If you want to you can go either to your okey or to a magic one to, liquefy and adjust it from here. For example, let just go and maybe make the legs not that long. So please run with this character, and when you are done, let's just go and deselect everything by hitting our magic tool twice. Then one more time, let's just go to our rokey. We will use uniform methods, and we'll go and find a different placement for this element. Let's position it smartly onto our canvas. We will have some space on our right. If you want to rotate it, you are welcome to go and rotate it. And when you're satisfied with everything here, let's deselect everything by hitting our arrow key, and let's move on to our next part. We will create our last character. 6. Lovey Mushroom Sketch: Again, let's start this part by going to our layers. If you want, you can go and rename this layer with our third character. Let's just tap on it, and let's select rename. Let's just go with something like ice fre mushroom. And when we are done, let's just go again to our with the scheme, and we will make a Cope by selecting duplicate from when we are swiping it from right to left. When we did it, let's unhide it, and let's just go to our key. Let's make it smaller, and let's position it on the last blink space that we have. This time, let's just go with the rotation of something like that. If you want to adjust it even more, make it bigger or smaller, it's up to you. If you want to go to the free form method and adjust it even more, you are welcome to go and do that too. Now, when we have something in that way, let's position it a little bit more higher, and when we have it, let's just go and deselect everything by hitting our arrow key. When we did it, let's just get back to our brush and let's zoom in our canvas. Let's just go and start creating the legs. Firstly, let's just go to the bottom. If you want, you can go and make a little markdown in a center, and then let just go with the legs like that. We will create two lines going in that way. Of course, if you would like to experiment, you are welcome to go and do that, you can create any shapes for the legs that you like and position it in a way that you would like. When we have the legs, let's just go and add some thickness to them. Again, going down with the peril lines or making it a little bit wider on the bottom. When we have something like that, let's just go to the bottom and create a little foot. When we have it on one side, let's just go to the opposite side and create something similar here. If you want to adjust the sheeps, you are welcome to go and adjust them manually or through your selection and maybe the okey or if you want, you can go to the Mjqutu liquefy, it's all up to you. When you are satisfied with these elements, let's just go and create the arms. Let's just go to the sides and let's create something simple like that. We will create two curves going up in that way, and then we'll just go and add some thickness to the arms. Do it on both sides, trying to create similar shapes on both sides. And when we are done, let's just go to the top of these elements, and let's create little fingers like that. When we are done, let's just go to our cap and let's create these additional elements. Again, if you want to experiment, go and experiment, or just repeat what you had before. Now when you have the base, let's just go and start creating facial features. Again, if you need to start by creating across, find an approximate center. If you're feeling very bold, let's just go and start by creating an eye on our left side. This time, let's just go with the shape of the heart. Let's just go and create something in that way, you are welcome to create any shape that you like right here. When you have the first eye, let's just go inside and shade it firstly. Then we will go to the opposite side and we will repeat the same shape. Let's just go to the same line. Let's just try to repeat the shape and let's position it in the same distance from the center. Okay. Let's again go and shade it, and then let just go right between our eyes, and let's create a key mouth like that. We are just going to the sites and we are creating half of the circles or half of the psis, and we will position it in that way. If you want to adjust something, if you want to maybe move these elements a little bit lower, let's just go to our S ribbon icon, free hand method, select the element that we want to adjust, go to the key and find a better placement for it. If you want to change rotation, go and change it. When you're satisfied with everything here, let's deselect everything by hitting our ribbon icon. When we did it if you want, let's just go and create little eyebrows on top of our eyes. You can go with any shape that you like. When you have your eyebrows, let's just go underneath our little eyes and let's create little cheeks in the shapes on the obses. Now, let's just take a look at everything here and decide whether we want to adjust something or not. If we will first go to our irkey and maybe change the rotation of these elements, and if we want to adjust it even more, we will go to our magic Quanzu and we will go under liquefy. So spend some time here and adjust it to your liking, and when you are done, we are done with our skitch. Let's move on to our next part where we are going to be creating the basic colors. 7. Basic Colors + Cheerful Mushroom Coloring: Let's begin this part by going to our layers and we will put every character that we have right here on one layer because we don't need all these multiple layers for our sketch. Let's just go again and either make a pinch movement or you can just go over the top and make a merge down and do it a few more times until you have everything on one layer. If you want to rename it as sketch, you are welcome to go and do that. And now we want to see what's happening onto the lier because we want to recreate our elements, but we don't want it to be very disturbing. Let's just go to our icon onto our layer with the sketch, and we will go to the slider opacity. We can grab it and we can move it toward the left until we still can see what's happening here, but when it's not that bright and disturbing. Find the opacity that works for you when you still can see everything, and then we will just go and tap on our lier with this sketch. Now, let's just go and create one more layer and we will need to put it underneath our layer with the sketch. We can just go to our layer with the scheme and from here, create one more layer. Now we can do the following. We can go and start recreating every cap and everybody of every character, or we can just go and use this scheme and recreate it just one time and then make multiple copies and position them onto the places that we have here. Let's just go with layer. Let's first go to our sketch layer. We will hide it and we'll hide our layer with the scheme. If you want to, you can just go to the N icon and adjust the opacity. Then if you want to, we can just go and drag this new layer underneath our layer with the scheme. Now, when we have it, we will firstly go to our brush library and we will go to the calligraphy folder. We will go and select monoline brush. If you want to use the natural looking for the lines, you are welcome to go and use it just like that, or if you want, we can go and adjust one option of our brush, so our lines will be quite smooth. We can just go to this monoline brush tablet and go inside the brush studio. On the left, we'll go under stabilization, and here on the top. You can see we have this option streamline with a slighter amount. When it's set at a very low value, we will go to a drown pad and we will try out how it works. You can see we have a lot of control over our line, but it is quite jagged. If you want to adjust it, we can just go to the slighter amount and set it for maximum for now to see how it looks on our drown pad. You can see we lost a bit of control, but we have a very smooth line. You can play with this option. You can find what works for you. You can go in a middle, or if you want, you can go back to your canvas straight out there, and you can always go to this option and adjust it later on. Find the amount that works for you, and when you are done, let just hit down over our top right. When we did it when we set our brush, let's first go to our color palettes and we will select the color with the name white. When we did it, we will go and recreate this shape on the bota. Just with one line, let's just go and create the shape. If you want to, you can go and change the size of your brush to something smaller, and we will just go and recreate this line. The same way we are just using all the options that we used before. We can hold our line and the ends and we can go to the editing mode and adjust it from here. If you want, you can go and adjust this line, you don't need to repeat everything with 100% of similarity. You can go and make it bigger or smaller, maybe try out different sheap. It's all up to you. When we have the result like that, let's just tap on the screen, and let's just go over the top and we will close the sheap. We don't need to go to this line that we have right here because later on when we are going to be creating other elements, it still will be changed. Now, when we have a closed outline, let's just go and drag and drop the color inside, and when we did it, let's just go again to our liers and we'll create one more layer on top. When we did it, let's just go back to our color palette, and let's select this light grayish red color. With this color, we will go and recreate the shape of our ellipse. Again, the same way as before, just go in there and creating the whole shape. Hold it at the end, and let's go to our editing mode and adjust it from here if we need to. When we are done, let's just tap on the screen to get away from the editing mode, and let's just go and drag and drop the color inside. And now we will just need to go and make the cut to show our face. Firstly, let's just grab our eraser and we will make it very, very small. We will go and create this line that we have on top. Let's just go and just create a line. With our eraser, we can use all the options that we are using with our brush, we can hold it at the end, we can go over our edited mode and adjust it, and then we will just go and make a cut right here. Let's just go again and create the line go in that way. You can see it's not going too well, so we are cutting the parts that we need because we don't see what we have underneath. We can go to our layers and do the following. We will go to this layer that we have for our heat. So let's just tap on it, let's tap on it one more time, and we will use the option select. When we did it, we will go again to our layers. We will go to our la number four, where we have this pinkish element. We will get back to our eraser. We will increase the size of it, and we will just go and start erasing the parts that we don't need. Very accurately, go on top and erase the part that you don't need. Okay. Now, let's just take a look at our illustration without the lines of the scheme. So let's just go to the liars and hide it. You can see whether we need to adjust something or not. If you need to adjust something, let's just go and adjust it. If we are satisfied with everything here, let's just go and deselect everything by hitting our ribbon icon. Now, when we have the element like that, let's go again and unhide our layer with this scheme, and then we will go back to our layer where we have this white element, and from here we will create one more layer. Let's just go again to our color palette and let's select this red color. We will go and recreate the shape for our cap. Again, if you want, you can go and make the size of your brush smaller, and we will need to very accurately connect our sites. Again, let's just go and create this curve, and then we can go over our top to the agent mode and adjust it from here. Zoom in and try to make a nice connection so you don't go beyond the frames, or you can just go a little bit beyond the frames, and then we can adjust these elements by going to our eraser too. When you have something like that, let's just go away from our editing modes and let's just go and connect the shapes, so we will just go right here and make a line. Then we will just drag and drop the color inside. Now, if you have some little elements like that, let's just grab our eraser and very accurately erase them. Okay. Now, let's just take a look at everything without our lines on the scheme. Let's decide whether we need to adjust something or not. If we are satisfied with everything here, let's just add the details to our cap. Of course, if you don't want to make these elements later on, if you don't want to add them in a different way, let's just go right now and add these white elements here. So we will just go to this layer that we have for our cap, and we will create one more layer on top. We want our elements appear only on this area that we have in red color. So let us go and do the following. We will tap on this layer and we will use clipping mask. Now, everything that we are creating will be only on this red area. Now, let us get back to our color palettes and select the white color, and then we will go and start putting these dots as additional elements to our cap. You can go with a big brush firstly, put the dots and go along these elements. You can vary the size of your brush and just put these little elements. When you are satisfied with everything here and when you don't want to adjust anything. We can go back to our layers and we will go to all these four layers that we have for these elements. We will select them and we will then go to the group option. We can go to this new group and we can rename it as scheme number two or colored scheme. When you are done, let's just go and unhide our layer with the skche then we will go and start making the copies of this colored scheme group. Firstly, let's just go to this V icon and will collapse our group. We will go and swipe it from right to left and we will choose duplicate. Now, we will go to the bottom one and we will hide it so we can store it and we will just go to this new group. We will go to our arrow key. We will make it smaller and we will use firstly uniform method. We will go to this first character and we will position it on it. Again, you don't need to repeat everything exactly as you have it onto your skit. When you have something in that way, let's just deselect everything by hitting our arrow key. Now let's just go again and do the same thing for our next illustrations. We are going to our layers. We will first go to this new group and we'll rename it as our cheerful mushroom. Then we will go again to our colored scheme. We will make a copy by making a duplicate. Straight away, you can go and rename it as flower mushroom. Let's unhide this group, and when it is selected, we are going again to our key, we are making it smaller and we are positioning it onto our second illustration. Let's de select it when it's ready, and let's just do the same thing two more times. Go into our layers, making a copy of colored scheme by duplicating it, renaming it, go and position it onto our illustrations. When you did it, let's just go and start adding our additional elements. Firstly, let's just get back to our layers and let's just go to one of the groups that we have for our mushrooms. For example, let's just go to our cheerful mushroom. Let's just go and uncollapse our group. We will go underneath our layer with our main shape. Let's just go to it and from here we will create one more layer. We will get back to this main body and we will drag it above our new layer. Everything in that way stays in the group. We will go to this new layer. Of course, if you want, you can go and rename all of these layers. But as we are in the group, we can just keep it as it is. When we are in this new layer, we are using the same white color and we will just go and recreate these elements. Again, let's just go and decreticize of our brush, and we will just go and recreate our elements. Again, if you want, you can go and adjust them to your liking. You don't need to repeat everything exactly as you have it onto your skitch. Remember that we will need to close the shape on the top to be able to drag and drop the color inside the shape. When you are done recreating these elements, you can go again to your layers and hind the layer with the sage to check out whether you like everything or not or whether you need to adjust something or not. When you're satisfied, just get back your layer with the sage and let's just go above this layer with the body and we will create our facial features. Let's create one more layer and onto this layer, we will go back to our color palettes and select the dark sea and blue. We will go and recreate our facial features the same way as before with all of our sheeps. When we are done recreating the basic facial features. Let's just go to the element to our eyes, and let's add our highlights here. As we already have our white color on our screen, we can pick the color from here. We will need to hold one of our fingers on the screen where we have our white color, and you will see we invoked our eye drop a tool. When we have the white color on top of this tool, we will lift up our finger and you will see that we've changed our color right here on the top. Let's just go and increase the size of eye brush, and let's just go over the top of our eyes to one of the sides and let's put the dots like that. When we did it, let's just go and select this pinkish color that we have on the bottom part of our cap. The same way invoking our eye drop as when we have the needed color on top, lifting up our finger and going and recreating these elements that we have for our cheeks. Now, let's get back to our layers and hide our layer with this cage to see whether we like everything or not. If we do, let's just go and add some additional elements. For example, let's just go and add some shadows. Let's go to this layer that we have for our legs and from here we will create one more layer. We will clean this layer to a previous one, tapping and selecting clipping mask, and then we will go to our icon and we will change the blending mode to multiply. We will go to the pacity ladder and let's just go with pacity around 15 or 20%. If it's not enough or if it's too bright, we will just get back to this option and we will adjust it if it's needed. When we did it, let's just get back to our color palettes and let's select this CN color. With the CN color, we will go underneath the shade that we have for our body, and we will just repeat it this way, we will create our shadow. We will do the same with the arms. Just go in there and creating the shadow in that way. If you want to add additional shadows, you are welcome to go and do that. If you are satisfied with everything here, let's just go again to our layers, and we will go to our bottom part of the cap. It is our layer number four. From here, again, we will create one more layer, we will clip it, we will go to our icon and change the blending mode to multiply. Let's just go again with something around 20%. If it's not enough or too much, we will get back and change it later. Now, let's get back to our color palettes and let's select either pink or red color. When you are done with it, let's just go and add a little shadow right here on the bottom part of our mushroom. So we will very easily go right here underneath this little element where we have our intersection. If you are doing it in that way, don't worry, we can just grab our eraser and just continue creating the line going in that way. So we are just elongating this line that we have for our head, and in that way, we are creating our little shadow here. If you want to go to the opposite side and add the shadow here, you are welcome to go and do that. If you don't want to do that, we are done with this illustration, but we will just need to go underneath it and we will add a little shadow here. Let's again go to our layers, and we will go to this layer where we have our shadow. From here, we will create one more layer. We will go to these two layers. We will select them both, and we will drag them higher than our new layer. Again, everything stays in a group, we are getting back to this new layer. We are going to our color palettes, and again, we are selecting our son color. With this color, we will go underneath our rushroom guy and we will create an pse like that. You can play around with the size it, you can play around with the position it. It's all up to you. Just create the shadow going in that way. When you're satisfied with it, let's just go and drag and drop the color inside. Again, going into our icon on the top bright and just dragging and dropping the color. In that way, we are done with our first illustration. Let's just go to our next part, where we'll create another one. 8. Flower Mushroom Coloring: Let's begin this part again by going to our layers. We will go to this cheerful mushroom. We will hide this group, or we can just go and collapse it. It's all up to you. Let's just go to this V icon, collapse the group, and let's just go to our next group. We will unhide our layer with the kitch then we will just go to this V icon and we will just tap on it, and we will start all over again. Again, we are going to our layer with our body. We are starting by creating a new layer. We are dragging this layer with the body higher than the new layer and getting back to the knee layer. When we did it, going back to our color palette, selecting the white color, and going and recreating these elements that we have on the Bam. Very easily, let's just go and recreate these elements. When you are done, let just go and add the shadows, one more time, going back to our layers, let's create one more layer above this layer with our legs and our arms. Let's clean this layer to a previous one, going into the icon and changing the blending mode to multiply. Go into the opacity is similar to what we had before, so around 15 or 20%. If you are not sure, you can get back to your previous illustration and see how much of opacity you use there. It was 15%, so we will use the same value on our next illustration. Let's just set it at 15%. Let's go again to our color palette using C N color and adding the shadows in that way. Firstly, we will go to our arms and we will recreate this shape. We are just repeating the shape of our head, and when we have it, we will go and put this leg that we have in the back completely in the shadow. Also, we will just go to the leg that we have in front and we will make a little shadow there too. Then we will just move on to the leg again that we have in the back and we'll put it in a shadow. If you need to, you can go and check it out without the lines on the sage, decide whether you need to adjust something or not. If you need to grab an e razor and adjust it or just go and do it with your brush. Again, it's all up to you. When you're satisfied with it, let's just get back to our layers. Let's hit our layer with the sketch. Let's go again to our layer with our cap. Let's create one layer here. Let's clip it. Let's go to our icon, change the bladed mode to multiply. Change the capacity to something around 20%. Now, one more time, going back to our color palette, selecting the pink color, and let's just go to this right part and we will again create this little shadow here. Again, if you want, you can go to the opposite side and create the shadow here too. When you are done with the shadow, let's just go and add our facial features. Again, go into the layers, go into our layer with our head, and from here, we'll create one more lay. Going back to our color palette, selecting dark sea and blue color, and let's just go and recreate our elements. For the tank, you can go on this li and very accurately edit here, or we can just go to the layers, go again to our lier with the heat from here, create one, More go back to color palette and select either pink or red color, and just repeat the shape that you have on your sketch. When you are done, you can get back to your liars and combine these two layers with facial features together. Go to the top one, tap on it, and choose merge down. Now, let's continue by going and recreating the shapes for our cheeks. Again, you can pick the color from what you already have onto your screen and just go there and recreate these elements. Now, take a look at your illustration without the lines on the sage, decide whether you want to adjust something or not. If you don't want to do that, let's get back earlier with the sage, and let's just go and recreate this little flower. We will go above all the leaves that we have here, we'll tap on the plus icon. We will go to our color palettes and select the dark son blue, and we will go and start by recreating our stem and our leaves. When you do it, let's just get back to our color palettes and select the color for our flower. For example, let's just go with the same red or let's just use the pink color. When you have it, let's just go and recreate our petals. Dragon drum the color inside, if you have the stem going in that way, just manually go and recolor this area. When you did it, let's just go back to our color palettes and select either yellow orange or orange, and let's just go and add these middle parts. Now, when you're done with this flower, let's just go again to lis. Let's hide our layer with this sage. Decide whether you want to adjust something here or not. For example, we can go and maybe make the middle part not orange but yellow orange, just drag and drop the color inside. When you did it, let's just go and add this little shadow underneath our little elements here. Let's again go to our lis. Let's just go to our layer with the shadow on our legs and arms. From here, we'll create one more layer. Let's select these two layers that we have on the bottom, drag them higher than the new layer, go to the new layer, go back to the color palettes like the C N color, and create something similar to what you have on your left. We will also put a little shadow underneath the flower. Drag and drop the color inside, and when you are done, we are done with our second illustration. Let's move on to our next part. We will be recreating the third one. 9. Ice Cream Mushroom Coloring: Let's begin this part again by going to our layers. Let's collapse this group with our flower mushroom. Let's go and unhide our layer with the sketch. Let's go to our ice cream mushroom. We are uncollapsing our group. We are going to our layer with the body and creating one more layer here. We will drag this layer with the body higher than our new layer, going back to our new leer, going back to our color palettes and selecting the white color. Let us go and d create our arms and legs. When we are done with our legs and with our arms. We have this little element right here overlapping. So let's just get back to our liers, we will go to our lay number four, where we have this bottom part of the cap, and very accurately, we will erase this little part. Now, when you are done, let just get back to our layers. Let's just get back above our layer with the hat or if you want, we can just go right here from our lay number four. We will create a new lier, and we will go and recreate the shape of our ice cream. So firstly, let's just get back to our color palettes. Let's select our yellow orange color, and let's recreate the come. Close the shape, dragon drop the color, and then let go again to our layers. Let's just go to our layer with our legs and arms. Let's tap on it, let you select, and we will get back to our layer with the cone. Let's just grab our eraser and let's erase this part that we don't need. Now, let's deselect everything by hitting our S ribbon icon, and let's see whether we need to adjust some parts or not. If we need to, we will just grab our brush and we will go over the elements that we need to adjust and we will adjust them. When you are done, let's just go to our layers and let's add some additional elements to our coon. We will do it very easily by going to this new layer with our con. We will tap on it, and we will choose alpha lock. Now, everything that we are creating will be appearing only on the existing areas. Now we are going back to our color palettes and selecting the orange color. Let's just go and create a pattern like that. When you are done, let just get back to our layers and let's create one more layer above. On this layer, we will get back to our color palettes and let just go and select light and color. We will go and recreate the sap on the top of the ice cream. Dragon drop the color inside. Take a look at it without the lines on the sage, decide whether you need to adjust something or not. If you're satisfied, you are welcome to go and continue creating the additional elements. For example, let's just go and add a little highlight right here on the top of our ice cream. We will go and invoke the eye drop at. We will select the white color, and we will go above this element on the left side, and we will create a little highlight like that. Okay. When you are done, let's just get back to our layers, and let's just go and start adding our shadows to our legs and to our arms. We will go back to this layer, and from here, we'll create one more layer. Let's tap on it. Let's select clipping mask. Let's go to our icon and change the blending mode to multiply. Go with the 15% of opacity for this layer, going back to our color palettes and selecting the CN color. Let's increase the size of our brush, and let's just go underneath the hat and recreate the shape it, and in that way, we will add our shadow. Let's do the same with the arms. Let's just go with something like that and create our little shadows. If you overdid it or if you need to erase some part, go and erase them. When you are done, let's just get back to our layers and we will go to our layer with the bottom part of the cap. We'll create one more here, we will clip it, we will go to our icon, change the blending mode to multiply and go with 20% of opacity. Going back to our color palettes and selecting the pink color. Now, let just go and continue creating this line right here. If you overdid it, if you need to adjust something, grab an eraser and adjust it. If you want to go to the opposite side and add the shadow here too, you are welcome to go and do that. Now, when we are done with the main shape, let's just get back to our color palette and let's unhide our layer with the Skech. Now when we did it, let's just get back to our layer with the head. From here, we'll create one more layer. We will get back to our color palette, select dark sea and blue, and we will go and recreate our facial features. Again, for the to, we can go back to the layers, create one more layer underneath our layer with the facial features, select the color and add the t from here. And then we can just get back and combine these two layers together by going to lay on top, taping it, and select and merge down. When we did it, let's select this pinkish color from our bottom part of the cap, and let's just go and recreate our cheeks. Now, let's just take a look at it without the lines on the stage and we will go and add our shadow on the bot. Again, we are going to our layers. We are going to our layer with the shadow. From here, we are creating a new layer, going and selecting these two layers on the bottom, dragging them higher than our new layer, going back to our new layer and going back to our color palette to select the sea and color. With this color selected, we are going to the bottom and creating this p shape. When you are done, dragon drove the color inside, and when you did it, we are done with our third illustration. Firstly, go into our layer with the heat, creating one more layer above, go into this layer with the heat, dragging it higher than our leer, going back to the new layer, selecting our white color, and recreating these elements. We are clipping it, we are going to our icon. We are selecting multiply blending mode, going with 15% of opacity. Going back to our color palette, selecting the C N color and going to these elements and aging shadows, just repeating the shape of the hat. When you did it, let's just get back to our layers, and let's just go to our layer with our bottom part of the cap. Let's create one more layer above. Let's clip it. Let's just go to our icon change the blending mode to multiply, and let's go with 20% of opacity for this shadow. Just continue with our line. When we did it, let's just get back to our layers, and let's just go to our layer with the hat. From here, we will create one more layer and we will start recreating our facial features. Firstly, let's just go and select our dark sea and blue and recreate our mouth and eyebrows. When you did it, let's just get back to our color palette and select the red color. With this color, we will go and recreate the shapes for our hearts. If you want them to be similar on both sides, you can go to S ribbon icon, select the sheep that you have just created on one side and go with three fingers down onto your screen. You will invoke the op and paste menu and you will need to tap ope here. One more time, wiping three fingers down and we are selecting paste. Now, you can see we have the bounding box onto these elements. We can just go to the opposite side and position this element right here. So now, when you are done, let's just tap on our air key. We will then go to our layers, and we will combine these two layers together. Go into this layer with the heard tapononate and selecting merge down. Now, everything is on one layer and we will need to pick this color from the bottom part on the cap, and we will just need to go and recreate our cheeks. Now, let's just take a look at it without the lines on the sage. Go into the layers and hide in our layer with the ska. If we like everything here, if we don't want to adjust anything, let's just go and put this shadow underneath our little guy. Again, going into the bottom, going into our layer with the shadow from here, creating one more layer, going into these two layers, selecting them, dragging them higher than our new layer, and going into our layer that we have just created. Then when it is selected, we are going back to our color palette, selecting our son color and going underneath this little mushroom guy and creating our little shadow. Okay. Adjust the placement of this element. If you need to adjust the curvature of it or anything that you want to adjust through your editing mode.
