1. Introduction : Hello everyone. I'm Uni. And into this class we'll draw cute bakery element stickers. This class doesn't require any prior experience
or fancy tools. We'll start from
scratch and we'll be using simple techniques
throughout the process. Everything you'll see will
be happening in Procrit. However, if you
have other software or want to try
traditional materials, you are welcome to join. If you're ready to start, let's jump right into it.
2. Main Sketch: Let's begin our class
firstly by deciding what kind of canvas we are
going to be using today. We're using a standard square
canvas that you can find. In procrete, our pixel width and pixel height are
set at 2048 pixels, DPI are at 300, and our color profile is set as SRGB with this low number. When it's all done,
let it done over our top right and we will be redirected to our new canvas. We'll zoom it out just a little bit so we will see
the whole canvas. And then we will need
to decide what kind of colors we are going to be using throughout the whole class. You can use your own colors, but if you want to follow alone, you can go to the project
and ser Sap and download all the materials so you can
follow Al when you did it. Let's first go and change
the color of our background. We will go to the layers
and we will go to our background color
layer on the bottom. You can see that we have our
color palette, but for us, it will be easier to go under palettes right here
on the bottom right. And here go under cards, we can see all the colors
name right now and it will be easier for us to
navigate through our colors. Now let's just go and tap
on light yellow color. And we will change the color of a background when we did it. Let's continue preparing
everything for our sketch. So this time we will go to our brush library and we will
go to the sketching folder. You can pick a new brush
from here that you like. You can try it out onto the
canvas if you don't like it, Get back to the brush library, select another
brush and find what works for you when
you found the brush. Let's just get back
to our color palette. And here again we
will go under cards. This time we will select the color with the
name dark brown. Let's get back to our
canvas and we will start by creating our
first sage of a donut. Firstly, we will go to
some of the blink space and we will start creating
a line going in that way. It is an ellipse.
We are creating it with one line in the end. We are holding our line. You can see we can
move our shape. We can make it
bigger or smaller by moving our pencil
from side to side. Let's just keep it
something in that way. And then we will go over the
top to our editing mode. You can see we have
some nodes here, so we can just go and make
the shape more rounds it, let's make it more like a
circle rather than an ellipse. And when you have
it in that way, if you want to make
it smaller or bigger, you can go right between the nodes, Hold
your apple pencil, and drag it diagonally
up or down, depending on what
you want to do. Let's just keep it in
something like that. And when you are done,
let's just go and tap on the screen to get
away from our editing mode. When we did it, we
will go right in the middle of the shape and we will create a similar shape. Let's just go and create it
just with one line as always. Hold it at the end. And then let's just go
again to our top part. Here we can see we have
the option circle, so we can just tap on it. And we will just need to
put it right in the middle. So let's just hold
our apple pencil at some blink space and let's try to put it somewhere
in the middle. When we did it, let's just tap on the screen to get
away from this mode. And let's start recreating the lines that will
represent the glacier. Let's just go along
the whole shape and we will create
wavy lines like that. If you are going a little
bit beyond the frames, don't worry. It is all good. We will just grab our eraser and erase the lines
that we don't need if they are bothering us when we have the
sheep like that. Let's get back to our brush and we will go and create
facial features. Let's just go over the top. And we will start by
creating an eye like that. Just creating a dot
and shading it inside. When you have it, we will go to the opposite side and we
will create a similar sheep. Try to put it on the same line. Try to create it in the same weight when you
have everything in that way. Let's just go between our eyes and let's create a kitty mouth. Our kitty mouth is just digit three that is turned
horizontally. When you have something
like that, let's just go over our eyes and we will create a little
curse for our eyebrows. If you want to add
any other details, you are welcome to
go and do that. Just experiment a little bit, create something
that you would like. And when you're satisfied
with this shape, let's just go and
create something else. We will just go to
our layers and we'll create one more layer
on top of this one. When we did it, let's just go
and create a little muffin. We will go to some blink space and we will start by creating two lines like that you can make them as big as you like
when you have them. We will go to the bottom and create a horizontal
line like that. When you have this shape, we will go to the sides, to these corners that
we have on the bottom. And we will soften
everything up. We are creating little curves instead of very
straight corners. Try to soften it up, make it very nice and smooth. If you have the lines
that you need to erase, grab an eraser and erase them when you have
the ship like that. Let's get back to our
brush and we will go over the top to
create this fin. Let's firstly go to one of
the sites and we will just go along the whole ship and we will be creating some bumpy
ships like that. You can vary their size, you can vary the amount
of these elements. Just randomly create a few
of these ships going up. When you have
something like that, let's just go over one
of the sides and we will create this
whipped cream thing. What we need to do is to create a line going up in that way. Then we will go to the
opposite side and create a similar line like that when you have
something in that way. Let's just go and continue
creating the shape. By creating one more bump. We are just closing
everything that we have here for our top
part of the muffin. Work more on the
shape if you want to. If you have the lines
that you need to erase, go and erase them
with your Erisa. Now let's just get
back to our brush, and let's add a few
more elements here. Firstly, let's just go
to the opposite side from the thingy that we
have for our whipped cream. And we will create
a shape like that. Later on we will
recolor it differently. It will be some kind of a
berry when you have it. Let's just go to our
main part on the bottom. And again, we will start
by creating the ice, the similar shape
to what we have on our first elements
on our donuts. Just creating one eye like that. Going to the opposite side, trying to make it
on the same line, trying to make the same size
that we have on our left. If you need to adjust something, just go to the eraser
and adjust it. If you want to experiment
with your facial features, you are welcome to create
anything that you like. When we have the eyes like that, let just go to the sides and we will create little
eyelashes like that, just creating two lines
going in that way. When we have it, let's just
go right between the eyes. And we will start by creating
a line going in that way. When you have it, we will
go to the bottom and we will create a big
smile like that. We're creating half
of the circle, or half of the ellipse when you have
something in that way. Let's just go above our eyes, and we will create
little Eybris here too. Again, you can experiment with
the shapes to your liking. If you want to create
something different, you are welcome to
go and do that. Now we don't need
to be very precise if we can just later on
create something different. Now we are just
mapping out everything that we need to create
for these parts. Now when we have this ship, let's just go again
to our layers. And we will create
one more layer to create the next ship. Now let's just go and
create a little croissant. What we need to do firstly, is to create a guiding line that will help us to
build the whole ship. Let's create a curve like that. When you have this curve, we will find the center open by creating a little
markdown like that. When we have it, we will
go to this markdown, we will go to the sides from it, and we will create
two lines like that. We are just repeating
the shape of our curve. One line on one side is a little bit smaller
than the other. When we have it, we
will go to the side and we will create a little
curve going up in that way. And we will do something
similar on the bottom work, more on the shape if you need to try to make it very round it. When you have a shape like that, let's just go to the sides, from it to the top
and to the bottom. Firstly, we will need to
create a shape like that. Again, our shape on
the left will be a little bit smaller than
our shape on the right. When we have these two lines, we will again connect them
together with a curve. When we have this first shape, we will go to the bottom. And we will repeat
everything here, just creating a little
curve going in that way. And then go into
the opposite side. And creating a bigger curve connecting everything
together with another curve like that work
on the ship if you need to. And when you have the
result like that, let's just go to
our top and we will create a very soft
triangle like that. If you want, you can create
a little dance on the left. And if it's not happening
from the first try, just erase it and try
it out one more time. Basically, we will
just need to follow the line that we have
as our guiding line. If you need to adjust the ship, go and adjust it. When we have the
ship on the top, let's just do the
same on the bottom. Now when we are done
with the basic ship, let's just grab our
eraser and we will erase this media line because
we don't need it anymore. If you want to adjust
your ship in any way, we can do it very
easily by going to our magic Anu liquefy. On the bottom you can see
we have a lot of options. All that we need is option push, and we are going to be changing
the size of our brush. We can just go back to this brush size and we can adjust it later
on if we need to. Let's just go to the element and push it so we will like
the whole ship in general. Let's just spend some time here and create something
that we will like. When you're satisfied
with the shape, let's just tap on our
magic one tool twice. And let's just get
back to our brush. We will go inside to this big shape in the middle and we will create
art facial features. Let's just go with
something like that. We will create very happy fees. We are creating half of
the circles or half of the ellipses for our
eyes when we have them. Let's just go right
between them and create a little smiley mouth like
that when we have it. Let's continue by going to our layers and we'll create
one more layer above. When we have this new layer, let's just go to some
link space that we have and we will
create a little meta. Firstly, let's just go and
create a big shape like that. Suggest half of the circle. When we have it, we
will go to the side on the right and we will create
the bigger shape like that, just going down with a little
shape going in that way. Our shape on the bottom
will be a little bit more narrow than
we have it on the top. When we have the overall
shape like that, let's just go to the
bottom and create a curve to connect
these two parts. When we have it,
we will go more to the bottom and we will create
a little shape like that. So we will firstly go and repeat the curve that
we have on the top. When we have it, we
will go to the site. We will go a little
bit more to the site, and we will create
shapes like that. If you need to adjust
the shape in any way, please go and adjust it either manually or through
the liquefied tool. When you are satisfied with it, let's just go to this big shape. And we will again start by creating the shape for our eye. Let's just go a
little bit bigger. This time we will create our
first circle or ellipse. And when we have it, we will
go to the opposite side. And we will try to
repeat it here, try to make them even
when you have the ice. Let's just go right between
them and let's create a big smile like that
when you have it. Let's just go above the
ice and let's create a little eyebrows when we
have something in that way, we are done with this sketch. That means that we will
need to go again to our layers and create one more
above for our next sketch. When we did it, let's just
get back to our canvas to some blink space and let us go and create a little baguette. What we need to do is to again, create the line that
we will follow. Let's just create a
curve going in that way. When we have it, we will go
and create a shape like that. If it's easier for you,
you can start just by creating an ellipse and then adjust the shape to your liking. We have the shape a
little bit more wide in the middle and narrower on
the top and on the bottom. When we had the shape like that, let's just grab our eraser. We will erase all the
lines that we don't need when we have
something like that. Let's just grab our
brush one more time. And we will go over
one of the side and we will create little
dents on our left. Firstly, let's just go over our left side and we will
create three lines like that. When we have them, we will just need to create a little curve instead of these little marks down when we have
something in that way. Let's just go to this line that we have right here on our left. We'll grab our eraser and we will erase these little
parts right here. Now when we have
something like that, we will get back
to our brush and we will go inside these ships. We will step a bit from
these little lines that we have on the left and we will create little dance
going in that way. You can make them very
soft or for now you can just keep them as
they are right now. Let's just go through all of them and create
this little dance. Now when we have it,
let's just go to the middle part and create artificial features
for this one. Let's just go firstly
with the similar eyes to what we have before
when we have them. Let's just go right
between them and create a little
kiss mouth again. It is digit three, but it is turned to the right
when you have it. Let's just go above and let's
create little eyebrows. Now when we have our
little baguette, let's just go and create
a little spatula. But firstly, we will need to position our elements a
little bit differently, so we will have
some blink space. We will first go to earliers. We will start by going to
earlier with the doughnut. So let's just select
earlier number one. When it is selected,
we will go to our Er key on the top left. On the bottom, we will
use uniform methods. You can see we have
the bounding box, we have the corners. We will just need
to go to one of them and we will just
need to drag it down. Or if it is too small, you can just go and
make it bigger by going up with your corner when
you like the result. With the size, let's just
hold our apple pencil at some blank space
and let's just move our ship to the place
that we want it to be. If you want to tit your ship, you can go to this
green E. You can hold your apple pencil and go
in a circular movement. Find the placement
for these elements when you have the
place that you like. Let's just go again
to our error key and we will deselect everything. Then one more time we are
going back to our layers. Let's just go to
our layer number two where we have our muffin. Again, we will do
the same thing, going to our Er key
uniform method, making the whole shape
a little bit smaller. Let them go to some blink space. Move our shape if you want to rotate it, go and rotate it. Position it nicely
onto your canvas. When you're satisfied with
the size and position and rotation of the elements,
let's deselect everything. And then again, we are
going to our layers to select next layer Led number
three is our croissant. Let's just go again to our air key and let's find
a better placement for it. If you want to rotate it, make it bigger or smaller, you are welcome to
go and do that. Just find the placement
that you will like. Also, try not to put your
elements too close to one another because later on we are going to be creating
a sticker effect. When you are satisfied with
positioning this element, we are deslecting everything. We are going back to our layers, going to our next layer, going to our archey, and finding a better placement and size for these elements. When you are done
desalecting everything, going again to our layers, to our last layer that we have, going again to our archey and finding a different
placement for these elements when you are
done talxing everything. And then we are again going to our layers to create
a new layer on top. Now when we have a new layer, let's just go to
this blank space that we have right
here on the right. And let's create
a little spatula. What we need to do, firstly, is to create a line
going like that. When we have it, we will go to the side and we'll
create a parallel line, so we will add some
thickness to it. When we have it, we will make a mark down somewhere
in the middle. And then we will go down
with the ship like that. Again, our ship on the bottom is a little wider than
it is on the top. When we are done
with the handle, we can just grab our eraser and erase these lines in a
middle that we don't need. Then we will get
back to our brush. We'll go to the top and we will start creating the
shape for our spatula. When we have this
first line like that, we will go with one
side like that. And then we will go and connect these two
ships with a curve. Work more on the
shape if you need to, if you need to
adjust it even more, you can go to the liquefied
tool and adjust it from here. When you are satisfied
with the shape, let's just tap on
our magic an Tu. And we will go to the top part and we will
add our facial features. One more time, let's just go to the middle and we will start
with the eyes like that. When we have this first
triangular shape, we will go to the opposite side. We will create a similar
shape right here. Then we will go right between the eyes and we will
create a smiley mouth. If you want to
experiment and add the eyebrows or different
facial features, you are welcome to
go and do that. When we are done
with our spatula, let's just go and add a
few smaller elements.
3. Additional Elements Sketch: Firstly, let's just go and
create a little waffle. We will go to some blink space. But firstly, we will
just need to go to our lease and create
a new layer here. When we have this new layer, let's just go to
the blink space. And we will start
very easily just by creating a sheep
of the Tinga. Very easily, just manually
creating our sheep. And then we will just go to the corners and we
will soften them up, creating our curves instead
of the very straight corners. If you need to
erase the corners, just grab an eraser
and erase them. Now when we are done, let's just get back to our
brush and we'll go inside this waffle and we will add a few more
rectangles like that. Let's just add three rectangles in a row and we will
make three rows. Now when we have the
waffle like that, let's just go and create
two more of them. You can go and do it manually, or if you want, we can make
a copy of this element. To make a copy, we can
do it in that way. We will need to swipe
down with three of our fingers and you will see that we have
the option copy. We will do it one more
time swiping down with three fingers and we
are using option piece, now we have a copy. We are using our transform tool. We will just need to go to some other piece and
position or element here. You can vary its size. You can vary placement. You can vary its rotation. It's all up to you Lin. Just find the placement for
its and when you are done, let's just deslect everything by heating our error key line. Just create one more
copy, ovid, again, swiping down with three fingers and using the option paste. Now one more time, go into our canvas and finding the
placement for these elements. When you're satisfied,
let's just tap on our error key and then we
will go again to our lives. We will create one more li, and we will go and create
a few little berries. This time let's just go with little cherries and we will go and create
them very easily. In that way, just go into some blank space and creating
a little circle like that. And then we'll go to the top, create a little stem
and a little leaf. Let's just go and create
a few more of them. You can go just with
a single cherry or maybe with two of them. Let's just go right
here and create two cherries,
creating two stems, creating a little
element on the bottom, one more of them,
and two leaves. When you have it, let's just go and create a
few more of them. For example, let's just go right here on the bottom right here, right between our spatula
and our little croissant. Now, when we are done
with everything here, we will need to position
everything more smartly. What we need to do is to have some blink space
around our elements. Again, we will go and do the
same thing as we did before. We'll be going to our layers and we will go through all of them to find a better placement
for all of the elements. Again, we are going
to our layers. We are going, for example, to our layer with our
first or third waffle. And we can just go and find
a better placement for it. Now let's just spend time, let's just go through
all of our layers and create a better layout
for all of our elements. If you have multiple
elements that you want to adjust on one layer, for example, as we
have our berries, we can just go to this
layer where we have them. It is our number ten right here. We can just go and select one of these elements by going
to the S ribbon icon. We will need to use
the option free hand right here and select the
element that we want to adjust. We are just looping
around our Shep, only when one sheep is selected, we are going to our
arrow key Again, we will do the same thing as we did with all the other elements. When you are done, we
will desalect everything by heating on our ribbon icon. If you need to adjust
some other elements, we will do the same thing again. We are going firstly
on our ribbon icon. We are selecting our elements. When it is selected, go into our Er key and finding a better placement
for these elements. When you have the
layout that you like, we are ready to move
on to our next part, where we are going to be
creating our base colors.
4. Basic Colors: Let's begin this part
firstly by going to our layers and everything that
we have for our sketches, we will need to put on one layer so we can
do it very easily. We can put one of our
fingers on the layer on top, one on the layer on the bottom, and make a pinch movement when you have them on one layer. All that we need
to do is to go and change the capacity
to a lower value. What we need to do is
to go to the icon. You will see we have
the slider apacity. We will hold it and
we will drag it to the left until we still can see what's happening
onto this lier. But when it's not that
bright and disturbed, find the capacity
that works for you. And when you are done, let's
just tap again on our lier. Let's just go and rename
this layer as Skitch. We will tap on the layer
and choose Option rename. Now when we did it, let's just go and start creating
our basic shapes. Firstly, we are tapping on the plus icon to
create a new layer. And we will need to drag
this layer underneath our lay with this Kg we are holding it and dragging it down. When we did it, we
will go and rename this layer as brown
when we did it. First thing that we
will need to do for this part is to go to
our brush library. And we will go to the
calligraphy folder here, we will select monoline brush. And while we are still here, into our brush library, we will go and tap on
our monoline brush. We'll go inside the brush studio and we will adjust one option of our brush because
we would want to create very smooth lines here. When we are in the brush studio, we are going under
stabilization. And on the top we
have the option streamline that has
the option amount. If our amount of streamline
is set at a very low value, we can go to our drone path
and try out how it works. We are creating a line, we have a lot of
control over it, but it is quite jagged. If it's okay for you, if you want to create a
natural looking line, you are welcome to go and use the amount that is very low. If you want to
create smooth lines, you can just go and adjust the amount to
maximum, for example. And try it out onto
your drawing pad. See how it works. We lost the control over
our line just a little bit, but our line is very smooth. You can just go and play runs with the amount
of streamline. You can always get
back to this option. You can adjust it later
on if you need to. If your amount is too
much or not enough, you are welcome to get
back and adjust it. Find the amount of streamline
that works for you, and let's just hit down
over our top right. Now, let's just get back to our canvas and we will need to go to our color palettes and select this color
with the name yellow. With this color, we will go and recreate all the elements
that has this color. Let's firstly go and recreate the sheep for our doughnuts. Just go in there using the same shapes that
we used before, just holding our apple pencil
at the end of the line. If we need to go
to the editimde, adjust our sheep, we are
welcome to go and do that. So just create the shape that you will like when you have it. Let just tap on the
screen to get away from our editing mode when we did it. We will need to make sure that our line doesn't have any gaps. If it does, it will be hard for us to drag
and drop the color. So make sure that
your line is closed. When you have this shape, let us go to this icon
on the top right, and we will just drag and
drop the color inside. When we did it, we
will need to make the hole right here
into our donuts. Let's just go grab our
eraser and just go there and cut this little
piece with our eraser. We can use all the options that we are using
with our brush. So we can hold our apple
pencil at the end. Go to the top, use
the option circle, find the position for these elements, and
when we are done, go away from our edit mode
and then manually go inside and erase this part that we
don't need when we did it. Let's just get back to our brush and we
will go and continue recreating the elements that are supposed to be
with this color. Firstly, just
recreating the shape and then dragging and
dropping the color inside. Remember that we will need
to create a closed shape and then drag and drop the
color for our crossant. Let just go with this
color to the middle part and to our parts on the
top and on the bottom. You also don't need to
recreate everything with 100% of similarity to what
you have on your skate. If you want, you can experiment, maybe try out different shapes. It's all up to you. When we are done with
our croissantes, let's just go and recreate our waffles with the same color. Recreate the shape
of the baguette. When we've made the
shape for our baguette, let's just go and grab
our eraser and we will go to the spies that we have here and
we will cut them. Now, when we did
it one more time, let's just get back to our
brush and let's just go over the spatula top and
let's recreate it with the same color when we are done. Let's just go again to our layers and we will
create one more layer above. We will rename this layer as darker brown with this color. Let's firstly go to our color palettes and
select this color orange. We will go and create a
few of these elements. Firstly, let's just go to our little shape
of the croissants, and let's recreate these
little parts very easily. You can overlap the shape
on the middle part. And on our sides, just create the outlines and drag and drop the color inside. Now when we did it, let's
firstly go to our layers. And we will hide our layer with this cage
just for 1 second. We are tapping on
this checker mark. When we did it, let's
just go and make sure that all of our
elements are looking nice. If you have some gaps or if
you want to adjust the ship, grab your brush, grab your
eraser and adjust it. It looks nice when we have
something in that way, we will need to cut
the overlapping parts. What we need to do is to
go back to our layers. We will go to our with brown. We will tap on it and
we will choose select. Now you can see we've
selected these elements. We will just need to get back to these
elements that we have just created with our
darker brown color and we will need to cut them. Just go again to our layers. We will go to li
with darker brown. We will grab our eraser
and we will just go over these parts and
we will erase them. We will just need to do
it for this middle part, only not erasing these parts right here on the top
and on the bottom, when we did it, let's just tap on our Rabon icon one more time. And let's just take a look at
how cute is our croissant. Now let's just get
back to our list and we'll unhide our
layer with this cage. And let's continue
aiding some details. Now what we need to do
is to go and create one more layer for
this darker brown. Let's just go to our brown layer and from here we will
create one more layer. Let's rename this
layer as Details. We want to end the
details only on the areas that we already
have on our previous layer. We are going to be creating
this little parts right here and we don't want
to go beyond the frames. What we need to do is to go
to our lay with details. We will tap on it and we
will choose clipping mask. Now everything that
we are creating on this layer appears only on the areas that
we already have. What we need to do
is to now go and recreate these little
parts on our baguette. When we've recreated these
parts on our baguettes, let's just go again
to our layers and we will create one
more layer on two. We won't clip it for now, we will just keep it as it is. We will then go and
select another brush. And this brush you can find
in a project and reser, tap it is called
double rounded trick. Tina, with this brush, let's just go to some
link space and we will just tap and create
a ship like that. When you have it, we
will just need to go inside and drag
and drop the color. When we have the shape, all that we need to do
is to go to our Er key, change the size of it, and we will just position
it onto our waffle. When we have it, we will
just need to go and make a few copies and position
them on one line. Firstly, let's just
go to our layers. You can see we have
this layer number five with the shape. Let's just go swipe
this layer from right to left and we
will choose duplicate. Now we have the same layer. We will just go
against our Er key and we will move the
shape to the side. Now let's just go in that way and recreate
all of these elements. When you have all nine
of these elements, let's just get back to
our layers and we will merge all of these layers together the same way
as we did before, just pinching all of them and
putting them on one layer. Now when they are on one layer, we can just go to
our error key and position them differently
if we need to. When we did it, we will
just need to make a copy of these elements and position it on the next of our waffles. Let's firstly go again, swipe the layer from right
to left, choose duplicates. And just go and position
it on our next waffle, the same way we will do with
the last of our waffles. Firstly, go into our liars, going and swiping our
liar from right to left. Choosing duplicates,
go into our arrow key, and just moving these elements
to the last elements. When we are done, let just go and maybe merge all
the layers together. We will just go to
the layer on the top. We will tap on it,
we will choose merge down and we will do
it one more time. If you want to, you
can merge this layer with the previous layer
with the details. You can just try it
out, you can tap on it, you can choose merge
down and it will be clipped to our main layer
with our brown elements. Now let us go and continue creating the
rest of the elements. Firstly, we will go
about this layer with darker brown and we will
tap on the plus icon. When we have a new layer, let's rename it as red. Now when we have this layer, let's just get back
to our color palette. And let's select either
red or hot pin color. When we have the
color that you like, let's just go over our top part of the muffin
and let's recreate the sheep. Firstly, let's just go
again to our brush library. And we will change our
brush to monoline, which is in our
calligraphy folder. Drag and drop the color when you are down with the main shape. And then let us go and recreate our mitten when you have it, we will need to go and put
the glaze for our donuts. Firstly, let's just go again to our layers and we will need to go again to our
layer with the details. Let's create one more
layer on top and let's clip it to our
layer with brown. When we have it, we will just go back to
our brush library. We will select the same brush that we used before,
our mono line, and we will just go and
create these lines that we have for our glesing dragon. Drop the color when
you are ready. If you need to adjust
it in any way, manually just go and adjust it. Now when you are done, let's just get back
to our layers. We will get back to our
layer with the name red. We will just go and put some dots for our
little cherries. Let's increase the size of our brush and just
go there and put these dots with the same color. We will go and recolor this element on the
bottom of the spatula. Now when you are done, let's just go again
to our layers. Let's create a new
layer that will rename as miscellaneous on this layer. Firstly, we will go to our color palettes and we
will select hot pin color. We will go to this part on the bottom of
our mitten and we will recreate it when we did it. Let's just get back
to our color palette and let's select this
dark brown color. With this color, we will go and create these little
parts on our cherries. Change the size of the brush
and create little stems. If you want, you can
go to the bottom part of the stem and create a
little line like that. It will represent some dance on the cherry from where this
little stem is going. When we are done,
let just get back to our color palettes and
select this dark blue color. Let's just go and
increase the size of our brush almost to
maximum or to maximum. And we will just go
and put one dot for this beer on our
muffin when we did it. All that we need to do for our miscellaneous
objects is to create this little part on our spatula and also on our little leaves. Firstly, let's just get
back to our layers. We will go back
to our layer red, and from here we'll
create one more layer. Let's now keep the name
as it is right now. Then we will go to
our color palettes. And firstly, let's select
this light gray color. Let's decrease the
size of our brush. We will go to this
part where we need to add the stick for
our little spatula. And with one line we will
just go there and create it. Now we can go manually and adjust the part where
they are overlapped, where we can just do the
same thing as we did before. We can just go to
firstly our layer red. We can tap on it, we
can choose Select. Then we will go again to
our layer number eight, where we have the top
part of the spatula. Grab our eraser and
erase this part. When you are done selecting our ribbon icon one more time, and then going back
to our layers, going to our brown layer, tap on it, Choose and select. Getting back to our
layer number eight and erasing this top part. When you did it,
let's just deslect everything and let's
continue aging our elements. Firstly, let's just get back to our color palettes and
select this green color. Let's decrease the
size of our brush. Let's make sure that we are at our layer number eight and we will just go and recreate
our little leaves. Now when we are done
recreating our basic colors, let's just go to our layers. And we will go above our layer
with miscellaneous layer, we'll tap on the plus icon. And let's rename this
layer as facial features. On this layer, we will go back
to our color palettes and we will select dark bean
cracks with this color. Let's just go and recreate all the facial
features that we have. For our big elements, we will just go and put
the dots for our small. We will go manually try to make all these lines that you have as a singular lines with
one size of the brush. When we are done recreating
the basic facial features, let's just get back to
our color palettes. And let's select
the white color. Let's increase the
size of our brush. And we will just go to the round eyes and we will
put some highlights to them. Firstly, let's just start
with our kitty here. We will go to one of the sides, for example, to the top right. And we'll just put
a dot like that. We will go to the opposite eye and we will do the
same thing here. We will try to put it on the same line and we will try to put it on
the same, please. Now let's just go through all of these eyes and we will put our little highlights
when you did it. Let's just go to our layers and we will hide our
layer with this sketch, we will need to go and
add some chicks here. Let us go either to
the same layer with our facial features or we can go and create
one more layer. You decide what you need to do. Let us go to our color palette. And let's start by
selecting pin cred color. With this pin cred color, we will go to some
bright parts and we will just put the dots
underneath our eyes. Let's increase the
size of our brush and let just go there
and just put the dots. Let's just go through all of these hot pink parts and we will just add our
little chicks here. When you are done
with that part, let's just get back
to our color palettes and select the red color. With this color, we will go
to other elements and we will put our cheeks when you did it, let's just go right inside
this mouth that we have here. And let's just drag and
drop the color here. Now let's just go and
add some beautifications to our cheeks with
this hot pink color. We will go to the very sheets and we will just go and
add a line like that. When you have this first line, we will just go and add
one more on this cheek. And we will do the same thing
on the other cheeks too. For the darker color, we will just get back to
our color palettes and select pin creds and do
the same thing here. Now when we are done, we are done with
our base colors. Let's move on to
our next part where we are going to be aiding
some beautifications.
5. Beautifications: Let's begin this part firstly
by going to our layers. We will go to our layer with this sheep that we have
right here on our donuts. Let's just go above it and
let's create one more layer. Let's clip this layer
to a previous one. You can keep it as it is, or if you want, you can go and rename it as beautification. When we have this layer, let's just get back to
our color palettes. And let's just start by
selecting the yellow color. With the yellow color,
we will go to the sheep and we will add some sprinkles just with the lines like that. Just add a few on these elements and then let's just get
back to our color palette. Let's select pin Crete. Let's add a few more
of the sprinkles. If you want to use
any other color, you are welcome to
go and do that. For example, we
can go and select dark pincret and add a few
sprinkles with this color. When we are done with this one, let us go again to our layers. And we will go to our layer red. We will tap on the plus icon. And firstly, we will clean
this layer to a previous one. We will do the same with
our top of the muffin. Let's just go and add
some sprinkles here. When you are done with it, let's just go again
to our layers. We will create one more
layer from our layer wraps. Let's just stop
on the plus icon. You can rename this layer
as beautification or just keep it as it is right now
when we have this layer, let's just go again to
our color palettes. And let's select pin Cd color. With this color, we will go to our mitten and we will
add some pattern here. Let's just go and create
something in that way. Now the pattern
looks too bright. We can just go again
to our layers. Go to this layer
with this pattern, go to the end icon and
adjust the opacity to the level that you will
like when you did it. Let's just go and start
adding some shadows. What we need to do, firstly, is to go to our
layer with brown. And we will go above
all the clip layers. We will tap on the plus icon. We will clean this layer
to a previous one. We will rename this
layer as Shadow. Also, when we are
creating our shadows, it's good to go and
change the blending mode. To change the blending mode, we will go to the icon and we will select multiply
blending mode. For that case, we will go
to the slider opacity. And for now, let's just
go with something like 30% or around this value. If it's too much or not enough. We can always get back to this option later
on and adjust it. Now when we have this new layer, let's just go back to our color palette and
select the orange color. When we did it, we
will go to all of these areas that we have with this color and we will
start aging, or shadows. Firstly, let's just go to
our muffin and we will go to the bottom part
and create a line going in that way you can
adjust the curvature over it, you can hold it in the end. If you need to go to the editing mode, adjusted from here, all that we need
to do is to create a nice smooth line like that. If we have some area that we
need to recolor manually, let's just go and recolor it. When we have this first shadow, let's just go
underneath our top of the muffin and we will repeat the lines that we have here. Let's connect them nicely with this curve that we have
on the opposite side. And when we are done, let's
just go to our crusades. And let's create a big
shadow going in that way. Adjust the curata
if you want to, then let's just go and
manually recolor this part. When we have this shadow, let's just go to our bagats. And let's create a
big shadow here too. Let's go to one of the sides, the same one we've made
our previous shadows on. Let's just go for all of
these elements and let's add our little curves for
the shadows if you want, you can go under this little
shape for our doughnuts and create a shadow here to also as we are operating
on the doughnuts. We can see that we
are adding the shadow to this part that we
have for our glycine. We can just go and add
a shadow in that way. With this color, we can just go and create
something in that way. And also we can just go to the middle part and create
a little shadow here too. If you want to change the color for this shadow on this part, you are welcome to go to the color palette and
adjust it from here. Now let's just take a look
at everything here and decide whether the opacity
is enough or too much. If we need to adjust it, we will just go
back to the layers, go to the M icon and adjust
the opacity on our slider. Let's just go with something
like 20% for this part. When we are done,
let's just go and add the shadows to the
darker brown part. We will just select this layer and we will tap
on the plus icon. We will clip this layer
to a previous one, if you want to rename
it, go and rename it. Let's just go to
the icon and select the multiply blending
mode for the capacity. Again, let's just go with 20% we'll go with
the same color and we will go to the part right here where we have the
shadow on the main part. And let's just go and
recreate this shadow. If you're going a
little bit beyond the frames of your main
shadow, doesn't matter. It's all okay when we
are done with this part. If you want, you
can go and maybe change the capacity on this
layer if you don't like it, if you are satisfied
with everything here. Let's continue by going to our layers and we will
go to our red layer. We will go to this layer on top where we have our confetti. We will create one
more layer above. We'll rename it as Shadow. Let's clip it to
a previous layer. Let's go to our icon, Change the blending
mode to multiply, change the capacity to
something around 20% Then we'll go back to our
color palettes and select either red
or hot pan color. Select one of these colors. And again, let's just go to the same side where we have the shadows on our
previous elements. And let's create the
shadows here too. Let's just start from
the top of our muffin. We will go from the bottom. And we will just start creating
the shadow in that way. Manually, we will recolor
the rest of the area. We will go to the
rest of the elements. Let's just go right
here to our mitten, and let's create a shadow
going in that way. Hold it at the end
if you need to manually recolor the
rest of the area. Let's just go to our spatula and create the shadow here too. Now let us go through our
little berries again. Go in there and adding
little shadows in that way. When you are done, let's
just go again to our layers. And let's adjust the apacity, Find the level that works
for you when you are done. Let's continue by going
to our next layer. It is our layer
with miscellaneous. Let's just go above it. And let's create one more layer. Clip it to the previous one, rename it as shadows. Let's change the blending
mode to multiply. And let's set the apacity
to something like 20% Let's just go to this little berry on
top of our muffin. Let's just get back to our color palettes like
the same color, dark blue, and go to the bottom and create
the shadow here too. Also, we will need to go to this element right
here on our mitten. Let's just get back
to our color palette. Select hot pink color. We will go and continue creating the shadow as we have
it on our main shape. When we are done
with these elements, let's just go and
add some highlights. What we need to do is
to go to our layers. We will go above our layer with facial features and we will
create one more layer here. Let's rename it as Highlights. We will go to this icon and we will change the
blending mode to overlay. For now, let's keep the
opacity at maximum, and then we'll get back
and adjust it later on. Now let's just get back to our color palettes and
select the white color. With the white color, we will
go to the opposite sides from our shadows and we will start creating
our highlights. We can just go with some lines. We can just go with some
dots or maybe some sparkles. It's all up to you, create a few highlights
going in that way. When you are done
aging these elements, let's just go and
change the opacity. So we are going to this old icon and adjusting the
opacity to our liking. Something around 40%
will work the best. Now when we are done, we are almost done with
our illustrations, if you like, how
they look right now, you can stop right here. Also, we can just go and
add the sticker elements. We will just create this wide outline for
all of these elements. Firstly, let's just
do the following. We will need to
select every layer that we have right here. Let's just go, one
layer is selected, we will go to the next one. We will swipe it
from left to right, and you can see that now
two layers are selected. Let's just go through all of
our layers and select them. You can put the layer
with this cage here too. Then we will just need to go to this group option
and create a group. We can just go to
this group and we can rename it as, now
when we did it, let's collapse it by going to this little V icon and we will need to make a copy
of this group. Let's just swap the group from right to left and
choose duplicate. Now we will go to this group on the bottom and we will
need to flatten it. Let's just tap on it and
choose flatten from the least. Now everything that we have
right here is on one layer. What we need to do
right now is to tap on this layer and choose
the option Select. Now all of our elements are selected and we will
use our white color. Firstly select it, and we will go back to this
option on the bottom, and we will choose color Feel. Now let's deselect everything, and let's just go
back to our layers. And you will see that
all these layers that we have on this new
layer are now white. That's exactly what we need. Now we will go to this new
layer that is called brown. But we can just go and
rename it as Outline. We will just need to
do one more thing. When this layer is selected, we will go to our magic one too. We will use the option
Gaussian Bluer. For now, as we have a
very bright background, we won't see the thing. What we need to do is to go
back to our layers and we will hide our background
color just for a second. Again, we are getting back
to our Gaucian Bloer. We can see that on the
top we have this option, Gaussian Bloer 0%
What we need to do is to hold our apple pencil
and drag it to the right, and you will see that you are
creating some outline here. Let just stop at something like ten or maybe 15% That's exactly what we will
need when we are done. Let just deslect everything
by tapping on our magic one. To what we need to do right now is to go to
our S ribbon icon. And then we will need to
choose the option automatic. What we need to do next is to go to some blink space
and select it. You can see we have some areas that are selected
that are now white. We will just need to go and turn off color feel Right now. Now we have everything in blue. And we will need to
select not the areas that are outside of our
objects, but the contrary. What we need to do is to go to the option invert when
we have it in that way. That time we are
tapping on color, feel. And you can see that now we
have our little outlines. You can see that we
could have prepare our elements a little bit better so they are not
touching each other. But for now it is okay. When we are done with this task, let's just tap on
our S ribbon icon. And we will just get
back to our layers and unhide our layer
with background color. Now one more thing that
we will do here is adding a little shadow
and we will create a better outlines
that will look nicer. What we need to do is to go
to the layer with outline. We will swipe it from right
to left and choose Duplicate. We will go to this
layer on the bottom. We will go and tap on it, and we will choose select
when it is selected, we will just go to
our color palettes and select dark pink cred color. You can take a look at
your layers right now and you will see that everything
right here is now recolored. That's exactly what we need. When it is recolored, we will go to our arrow key and we will make them
a little bit bigger. We are just going to one of the corners and
dragging it down, you can see how nicely
it already look. If you want, you can
just move it down just a little bit for
this sticker effect, when you're satisfied
with everything here, let's just desalect everything by heating on our error key. Now if you like the
result like that, you can keep it as it is, but also we can just
go to our eraser. We can go to the lines
that we have that are brown and we can just go
and create some gaps here. In that way, we are creating
some dashed effect. Let's just go through all of these lines and let's
create this effect here. When we did it, we are
done with our class. Thank you for watching
this class Liver review, if you like it, and consider subscribing for more coy
videos in the future. Looking forward to
seeing your projects.
