1. Introduction: Hello, everyone. I'm uni, and into the class will
drop cute weather stickers. This class doesn't require any prior experience
or fancy tools. We'll start from
scratch and we'll be using simple techniques
throughout the process. Everything you'll see will
be happening in Procrit. However, if you
have other software or want to try
traditional materials, you are welcome to join. If you're ready to start,
let's jump right into it.
2. Sun: Let's begin this class, firstly, by deciding what kind of canvas
we are going to be using. Today we are using a simple
standard square canvas that you can find in procreate. Both our pixel width
and pixel height are set at 2048 pixels. ODPi are set at 300 and our color profile is set as
SRGB we this low number. When it's all done, let just
he done over our top right, we will be redirected
to our canvas. Let zoom it out a little bit, so we will see the whole canvas. Then the first thing that we
will need to do is to decide what kind of colors
we are going to be using throughout
the whole class. If you want, you can
use your own colors, but if you want to follow along, you can go to the project and your stab and download
all the materials. When you did it, let us go and select the color
for our background. We will go to our layers and we'll go to our
background color layer. On the bottom, you can see we
have our new color palette. But for us, it'll be easier to go under palettes right here on the bottom right and choose
cards into this window. Here we have all the
colors names and it will be easier for us
to navigate through them. The first color that we are selecting is our color
with the background. We will tap on it, and we will change the color
of our background. When we did it, we will need
to go to our brush library. We'll go to the
calligraphy folder, and we will choose
monoline brush. When we are here at
our brush library, let's just go and tweak one
option of our monoline brush, so all of our lines
are very smooth. We will tap on our monelin brush and we'll go inside
the brush std. On the left we'll go
under stabilization, and here on the top, you can see we have the option streamline that has
a slighter amount. We can go to our
drone pad when it set a very low amount and see how
it works and how it looks. We are creating a line, we have a lot of
control over it, but it is quite jagged. It's okay if you want to
use your lines in that way, if you want them to look very
natural, it's up to you. But if you want your
lines to be very smooth, you can just go to this option amount and you can adjust it. For example, let's
just set it at maximum and let's try
onto our drone pad. You can see we lost a bit
of control over our line, but our line is very smooth. You can decide how much of
streamline you want to use. You can go back and forth, try it out onto a canvas, get back to your brush std and adjust this option
if you need to. For now, let just adjust it to your liking and
when you are done, let just it down
over our top right. Now when we have our brush, let just go and pick
the first color for our first illustration. We are going to this
icon on the top right. One more time here we
are going under cards and we will select the first
color with the name yellow. When we have it, we will go
and create the first outline. Let's just go to our canvas, and we will create a
line of the ellipse that will go through the whole sap and we will hold it at the end. You can see we snapped our
sap to a better shape. We can make it
bigger or smaller by moving our apple pencil
from side to side. We can rotate it if we want to. For now, let's just keep it at the size,
something like that, and then we'll go over the top to the popped up option ellipse. Here you can see we
have the option circle. Let's just tap on
it and we will snap our shape to a
perfectly round circle. Now, when we did it, let's just get away from our editing mode, so we will just tap on
the screen either with our apple pencil or with
one of our fingers. Now when we have
this first outline, let's just go to the same
icon that we have on the top, and we will just go
and drag and drop the color right here in
the middle of our she. Now, what we need to do is to go and put this element
right in the middle. Let's just go to our arrow
key on the top left. You can see now we
have the bounding box and this little
window on the bottom. We'll use the uniform method, and also we will just go under snapping into the settings, we will turn on
snapping here too. So now, when we are going to our canvas and if we
hold our Apple pencil, we can just find the center by following these
two orange lines. Let's just go and find them, and when we found them, we are right at the
center of our canvas. When you have the position
of your element like this, let's just go and
deselect everything one more time by heating
on our arrow key. Now, when we did it, let go and add a little outline
for this elements. We will do it in that way. We will go again to our layers and we will make a
copy of this layer. To do that, we
will need to swipe our layer from right to
left and choose duplicates. Now, we will go to this layer
that we have on the bottom, and we will go again to our color palettes and
change the color to orange. We will then go to
this little icon, and we will drink and drop
the color into this area. Now, you can't see anything, but if you go again
to your layers, you will see that these two
layers have different colors. What we need to do next is to select this layer that
we have on the bottom, and we will go again
to our arrow icon. We will use the same
uniform method, we will use snapping
and we'll just go and make this element
a little bit bigger. Let's just go to one of
the corners, for example, to the top right and we
will just drag it up, so we will make the whole
shape a little bit bigger. When you have
something like that, we'll need to
position this element again right in the middle, so we are doing the
same thing as before. Just finding these two lines. When you have the
result like that, let go and deselect pin
by hitting our arrow key. By the way, you can change the size of this
element to your chin, you can make it very thick or very thin. It's all up to you. When we have the
result like that, let's just add the
rays of sunshine. One more time we are going
back to our layers and we will create one more layer by
tapping on this plus icon. When we have this new layer, we will use one option
that Procreate has. Let just go under range icon, we will go to the canvas and we will togal
drawing guide here. We will go under
age drawing guide, and we will go under
symmetry right here. We will go under options and we will select either
quadrant or radia. Also, we will just need to
togo rotational symmetry. You can decide which
option you want to use, you can try out onto the canvas
and if you don't like it, just get back here
and adjust it. When you did everything
that you want, let just go and heat
done over our top right now with the same
color that we have, with the size of the
brush is around 4% or 5%, we will just go
and start creating the lines that will
represent the s. Firstly, let's just go to
the top and let's create a line going
up in that way. We will hold it at the end. We can adjust the placement
of it, it's all up to you. For now, let's just keep
it at something like that. When we have it, we will go
to the rest of the areas and we will create another lines that will be similar to
what we have right here. But we can vary
the size of them. We can vary the amount and everything that
we want to wear here. For example, let's just step
a bit from this first line and we will go and create another line that will
be a little bit smaller. We are again holding
it in the ends, and when we have
something like that, let's just go and
add one more line. You can decide
whether you want it to be bigger or smaller. Find what works for you.
And when you are done, let go and turn off this option because we
don't need it anymore. One more time, we are
going under range icon, and we are togling
drawing guide here. Now, we will need to
go to the layers, and you can see that
our number three, where we have our
race is assisted. We will need to tap on it,
and we will need to turn off drawing assist by
choosing it from the lease. When we did it, we can make
sure that we like our se. For example, we can
go and adjust them. When this layer is selected, we will go again
to our arrow icon, and we can go and
make it smaller or bigger or find
what works for you. For example, let go and make
it a little bit smaller. But when we did it, we will also need to go and put it
right in the center. We are again looking for
these two orange lines, one vertical and one horizontal. When you found them, when you are satisfied
with the result, let just go and deselect everything by heating
our arrow key. Now, when we are done with this, we are almost done with our sun, but let's just make it a
little bit more interested. What we are going to be doing? We will go again to our layers, and we will go to our
layer number one, where we have this
little outline. We will then go to our
eraser and we will go long this outline and
we will add some gaps. You can decide whether
you want a big size for your brush or small and let's just go and add a
few gaps like that. We are just going through the whole shape of our elements, and we are just adding a
few elements like that. When you did it and when you are satisfied with
everything here, let's just go and
add more details. Firstly, let's just
go to our list and we will select all
of these three layers. For us, it will be easier
to work with that. When the first
layer is selected, we are going to the next one and we are swapping it
from left to right. When two of them are selected, we are doing it with the one
layer that is remaining. When we have all three layers selected, we will hit group, and we will go to
this new group, we'll tap on it, and
we will choose rename. Let's rename it as S. Now, when this whole
group is selected, we will go again
to our arrow icon, and now we can just
go and make it smaller and find a different
placement for this element. For example, let's
just put it right here on our top
plaft if you want, you can go to this green node, you can hold your
apple pencil there, make a movement to the side, it a rotation, and you can
just rotate your element. Find the position that you like. Make sure that you have enough
space for other elements, and when you have
it as you like it, let's just go and
deselect everything by heating our error
key one more time. When we are done with this, let's again go and zoom in our canvas and we will
go again to our layers. We will go to our
layer number one and we will add some
shadows and highlights. Firstly, let's just go
and create one more layer and we will need to clean
this layer to a previous one, so everything that we
are creating right here will be appearing only
on the previous layer. We will need to tap
on this layer and we will need to
choose clipping mask. When we did it, we will go to the icon and we will change the blending
mode to multiply. As for the opacity, we will go with something
like 30% for now, and if it's too bright or it's
not enough for our shadow, we'll get back to this option later on and we will adjust it. Now you can decide
whether you want to go to your color palettes
and change the color. For example, you can
choose between yellow, orange, peach, rainbow orange
or any color that you like. Let's select one of the colors. For example, let's just go with the same color that we use
for the main elements. It was our yellow color. We will go and make the size of the brush
a little bit bigger, and we will go to
one of the sides. For example, to the left one, and we will create a curve
going down in that way. You can hold the curve
and the ends and you can adjust the
placement of this element, you can adjust the curvature. When you are holding
it, you can go over the top to the editing mode and you have these nodes here. You can go to the notes, you can hold your apple
pencil at the node and you can adjust the
curvature of your elements. You can go to some other nodes and you can adjust it even more. Find the placement
for this element that you like and when
you're satisfied, let just tap on the screen
to get away from this mode. Now when we have
this first curve, let's just increticize
of our brush and we will go manually ent color
the rest of the area. Now, when we have
something like that, let's again go and make the size of our brush
a little bit smaller, and then we will go again to our color palettes and
change our color to orange or peach or any other color that is different
from the shadow color. For example, let's just
go with orange and we will go and add some
additional elements here. Firstly, let's just go and add a few lines going
just in that way. You can just go through
the whole shape, you can vary the
size of your brush, make it bigger or smaller. Let's just go and add a few
elements going in that way. Don't go more closer to your
meddle part because here we are going to be aging
facial features and that might be a
little bit problematic. Let's just go and add a few
more on these elements. Also, if you want to
go to the meddle part. We can just go and add
a few dots like that, that will represent
some of the frecals. So when we have the
result like that, let's just go again to
our layers and we'll tap on the plus icon
to create a new layer. Again, we will just go to it, we will tap on it, and we
will choose clipping mask. Now we are going to be
creating the highlights. Let's just go to our icon and change the blending
mode to overly. For the opacity, for now, we can go with maximum
or straightaway, we can just go and set it
at something like 50%. If it's too much or not enough, we will change it later on. Now, when we are done with
adjusting this layer, let's just go back to
our color palettes and select the white color. We will go and increase
the size of our brush, and we will go to the opposite
side from our shadow, and we will create a
little highlight there. Let's just go and start by creating a line going like that. Again, you can hold
your line in the end, you can go to this
option on the top to the editing mode and adjust
the curvature from here. And when you are done
adjusting this shape, let's just go tap on the
screen and maybe if you want, we can just go and add
a few more highlights. For example, we can go and
adjust our size of the brush, make it smaller or bigger
and add a few dots or maybe some highlights in
the shape of the sparkles. Let's just go and
spend some time here and add a few
sparkles like that. Now, let's just take
a look at everything from the distance
and decide whether we like the amount of opacity on our highlight or
if it's too much. If it's too much, we are
going back to our layers, we are going to the layer
where we have our highlight. We will tap on the icon, and we will go to
the slider opacity and we will make it
at a very low value. So when you found the
apacity that works for you, let's just tap on our layer with the highlights and let's
create one more layer above. If you want, you can go
and rename your layers in accordance with what
you have on this layer. But for now, it can
be just like that. When we have this new layer, we will go and start creating
artificial features. Let's first go to
our color palettes and we will select
this brown color. When we did it, we will go and increase the size of our brush, and we will just go and
put two dots for our eyes. Let's firstly go over one of our sides and we will
put the first dot. If this eye is too small, we can just go back and try it out on more time with the
bigger size of the brush. Just put the dot, and
when you have it, we'll go to the
opposite side and we will try to put it on the same level and try to put it on the same
distance from the center. Let's just go and
put the second eye. When we have it in that way, we will again go and decrease
the size of our brush. And for example, you can see, I have this little
mark down onto the slider with the size of
the brush. You can do too. When you found the
size that you like, you can just find it. You can just tap on
this little markdown that you have right
now onto your canvlas, the slider where
you have your size. You can just tap on it and you will have this
little window. When you have the
size that you like, you can just tap on plus, and you will have
this little markdown onto your little slider. You can just go and
adjust the size of your brush and then very easily go to this
little markdown. And get back to the size
that you were using before. When you found the
size that you like when you decrease the
size of your brush, let's just go right
between the eyes, and let's create a little
smiley mouth like that. You can hold your
line in the end, you can go and adjust it
for your editing mode. It's all up to you. Find the placement
that you prefer, and when you're done, let's just get away from our editing mode. Now, when we're done with this, let's just go to the eye and let's just add
some highlights there. We will just go to
our color palettes and we will select
the white color. Let's just go and in criticize a brush and we'll go
over one of the sides. For example, let's just go to the same side where we
have our main highlights, and let's just go
more toward the top. We will just go and
put the dots like that and we will do the
same on the opposite side. Again, try to put your
highlights on the same level. If it's not happening
from the first try, try it out one more time. When you're satisfied with
these highlights, if you want, you can go and decreticize of your brush and put a
few more highlights. If you don't want to, you
can keep it as it is. When we are done with it, we will go and add
the little cheeks. Firstly, let's just go
to our color palettes and we will select the
color with the name pitch. Let's go again to our slider
with the size of the brush. Let's make it bigger and we
will go underneath our eyes, and we will put dots
for our cheeks. Again, trying to put
them on the same line. If you need to, you can zoom out your canvas and take a look
at it from the distance. When you have the
circles for your cheeks, let's just get back
to our color palettes and we will select
this red color. We will go and do criticize
of our brush one more time, and we will go inside our cheeks and we will add
little lines like that. We will do it on both cheeks. When you did it, we
are done with Sun, but let's just go and put one more element behind our sun. What we need to do is
to go to our layers and we will go to this layer
that we have on the bottom. From it, we will
create one more layer, and then we will get to this layer that we
have on the bottom, our layer with our
outline, we will hold it, and we will drag it up above this new layer that
we have just created. Now, we are going to
this layer number eight that we are going
to be vision for this background element, and then we will go again to our color palette and select the background
details color. With this new color,
we will just go behind our sun and we'll
create some peculiar shape. Make sure that your sap
is closed and smooth. If you need to
adjust it manually, let go and adjust it. When you have the
closed outline, let just drag and drop
the color inside, if you want to adjust the sheap, you can go to the okey
and adjust it from here. When you're satisfied
with the result, let's deselect
everything with our key, and then let's just go
alone this little element, and let's add a
few more details. For example, let's just go
and put a few dots like that. You can vary their size, you can vary the amount.
It's all up to you. Just creating the
additional elements. Now, when you did it, we are done with our
first illustration. Let's move on to our next part where we will create
our first clouds.
3. Starry Cloud: Let's begin this fight firstly
by going to our layers. We will go to our
group with the sun and we will toggle
this little V icon. Let's just tap on it and we
will collapse our group. When we did it, we
have everything needs into our layers panel. Let's just tap on the plus
icon to create a new layer. When we did it, let's
just get back to our color palettes and
select the white color. When we have the
color that we need, let just go to this area
on the right from our sun. Let's start by creating a few elements that we will
turn into the little cloud. Let's just go and start creating the shapes
that we go in that way. We are creating the petals, we are varying their size, and we are varying the amount. If you want, you can make it parallel on both sides.
It's all up to you. When we have the
shape like that, let just connect
it at the bottom, and when we have the
result like that when we don't have any gaps
into our outline, let just go and drag and
drop the color inside. Now, if you want to adjust
your shape in any way, you're welcome to do
it either manually or by going to the key and
adjusting it from here. For example, let's just make it just a little bit smaller. Then if you want to
adjust it even more, we can go to the panel on the bottom and we can
use the option work. Now you can see we
have the bounding box, but also we have
some intersections with the lines inside the box. We can just go to
any place right here and we can just toggle it. We can just go to the site, we can go any direction
that we would like, and we can just create the
shape that we would like. You can just go and
play round with this little too and find
what works for you. Then just spend some time here and create the sheep
that we will like. When we have
something like that, when we like the shape, let just tap on our key and
we will deselect everything. Now, when we have
these little elements, let's just go again
to our layers and we will create one
more layer on top. We will clean this layer
to a previous one, selt just tap on it, and let's select clipping mask
from the least. Also, we will just
go to our icon, and we will change the
blending mode to multiply. For now, let's just go
with something around 50%. As we have two layers for this elements, let's
select them both. Let's just go and tap on group. We'll go to this new group, we tap on it and we
will choose name. Let's rename it as clout. Now, when we did it,
we will get back to this layer number ten that we clip to our main
shape for the cloud, and then we will get back
to our color palette, and again, we will select
this yellow color. When we did it, we will go and decrease the size of our brush a little bit smaller to something
around 3% or maybe 2%, and we will go and make a little divisions with
the shadows on our sheep. Let's go to these little
intersections and we will start by going to them and creating the
elements like that. We are creating shadows and we are also creating
some divisions. When we have
something like that, we can grab our eraser and
make these lines more clean. Let's just go and create
something in that way. When you have the first
element like that, let's just go to some of other elements and do
the same thing here. Let's go underneath
this and we will create another line
going down in that way. One more time we are grabbing our eraser and making
this line more nice. When we have something
in that way, let's just go to the
opposite side and we will create just one
division like that. Let's just go to
this big element and let's create the little
line going in that way. If you want to adjust it, again, go and adjust it. Now, when we have
something like that, let's again get
back to our brush, and we will go to
the bottom and we will create a bigger
shadow here too. We will just go along
the bottom part and just create a curve
going down in that way. If you want to adjust
it in any other way, you are welcome to
go and do that. When we have
something like that, if you want to add more details, you're welcome to
go and do that. But also, just go and criticize our brush a little bit smaller and we will go and
add the details, similar to what we
have right here on our s. So let me just go and
add a few lines like that, just go along the
sides along the lines along the edges and adding
these little elements. Also, we can just go and add a few more
additional elements. For example, we can just go to these little
elements on the right, and we can continue creating a little curve
going in that way. We are again creating some
peels and also we can just go to other side and create a few more
on these elements. Again, try not to go closer to the center because here we are going to be creating
our facial features. So now spend some time here
and add a few more dots, a little lines, a
little details. And when you are done, let's just go more toward the center, and we will again add some
little freckles here. So again, go in there and
adding a few dots like that. When we are done,
let's get back to our layers firstly and then we'll create one
more layer above. Now we are going to be
creating our facial features. So let's get back to our color palettes and
select this brown color. We will go and increase
the size of our brush, we will make a big eye firstly. We will go over one of the sides and we'll put our first dot. When we have this first dot, let's just go and decrease
the size of our brush. Try to make it similar to the line that you
have right here, so you are consistent with
your official features. When you have the
size that you like, let's just go to the
opposite side from this eye, and we will create a line going in that way.
Hold it at the end. If you need to
adjust it, go over the top to the editing mode
and adjust it from here. Also in the editin mode, you can adjust the
placement the same way as we do it into our key. We can just go hold
our Apple pencil and find the placement
by moving it. When we have the
position that we like, let's just go away
from our editon mode, we will tap on the screen, and we will go and work more
onto this eye on our right. Let's just go and
add some eyelashes. We will just go there
to one on the sides and we will create two lines
going in that way. When we have it, let's just
go right between the eyes and let's create the similar smile to what we have on our sun. Hold it in the end if you need
to go to the editing mode and adjust the placement or anything that you
want to adjust here. If you want to change the
rotation of your elements, you can go right
between the nodes, into the editing mode, hold your apple pencil there and make a circular movement. When you found the placement on the elements and everything that you wanted to found
here into your editing mode, when you're satisfied with it, let's just tap on the screen to get away from our editing mode. Now, let's just go over the
left side from our smile, and let's add a
little time here. We'll just go there and create half of the
ellipse like that. Again, you can hold
it at the end and you can edit it from
the editing mode. When you like this element, let's just get away
from our editing mode, and let just go to
the soap right in the middle and we will add
a little line like that. When we are done with this, let go and add our
little cheeks. We are going to our
color palettes, and again, we will
select our peach color. Let's make the size of the brush a little bit bigger
and let us go underneath our eyes and let just put our little dots
for the cheeks. Again, take a look
at your illustration from the distance
if it's easier for you to put these dots and
when you are done with them, let's just go and add
our little lines. Again, we are going
to our color palettes and selecting this red color. We are going and decreasing
the size of our brush, and then we'll go inside our cheeks and we will
put these little lines. When we are done, we will
need to recolor our tongue. Let's again go to our
color palette and select either rainbow red or any other color that
you would prefer. When you have it,
we will just drag and drop it to this area. Then we also will need to go to our eye and put our
little highlight here. As we already have
our white color onto our screen, we
can pick it from here. Let's just go to
this white color and to hold one of our
fingers on the screen. You will see we invoked
our eye drop to. If you move your finger, you will see that the color
on the top is changing. We will just need to go
and find the white color. When the white color
is on top of the tool, we will just raise up
our little finger. When we have it, we
will just go to one of the sides and we will put our little highlights
to the eye. When you did it, we are
done with our first cloud, but let's just go and add some additional elements
to the background. One more time, we are
going back to our layers, we will go to this layer
where we have our shadow, and from here we will
create one more layer. Now, we will go to these two layers that
we have on the bottom. We will select them
both, and we will drag them higher than
the new layer is. When we did it, we will go
back to this new layer, and then we will go against our color palette and we will select the background
details color. When we did it,
let's just go behind our little clouds and let's create some particular
sheap or if you want, you can just hold
your apple pencil and create a circle or an ellipse. If you want to adjust
the placement of this element, you know
what you need to do. You just need to go under your editing mode and
adjust it from here. When you are satisfied with the position of this element
and with everything here, let's just tap on the
screen to get away from our edited modes and let just drag and drum
the color inside. Then again, we will go
and increase the size of our brush and we will go
along this new shape, and we will add a
few more details. Okay. Also, for this cloud, let's just go and
add a few stars. You can go to the project
dresser sap and you can download the brush that we are going to
be using right now. But firstly, let just go to
our layers and let's create one more layer about
this new layer with the specular shape
on the background. Now when we did it, we will
go and select this brush. Again, you can find it in
the project reser sap. When you selected this brush, let's just get back
to our color palettes and let's select
this orange color. Let's increase the
size of our brush, and we will go over
one of the sides. For example, to the top right, and we will put a few dots
for these little elements. Let's just go and maybe play around with the
size of this brush, and let's add a
few little stars. When you're satisfied
with this result, let's move on to our next part, we will create another cloud.
4. Rainbow Cloud: Let's begin this fight firstly by going to
our brush library, and we will get back to our calligraphy folder and
choose our monoline brush. When we did it, we are going to the layers and we will
collapse our group with the first cloud and we'll create one more layer so we
can create a new cloud. Then when we have
this new layer, we are going back to
our color palette, and again, we are
selecting our white color. Let's just go underneath
our sun and let's create a little bit different
shape for this new cloud. Again, we will start by
creating some petals like that, but let's just make it a little
bit more peculiar, maybe. When you have the general shape, let just drag and drop
the color inside, let just take a look at it from the distance and adjust
it a little bit more. Let me just go and make this little part a little
bit more protruding, and also we will work on the bottom parts so it
is more like a curve. Spend some time here, try to make it very nice and very cute and
that you would like. And when you have the shape
of the cloud that you like, let's just go to our
R key one more time, and firstly, we will start
with uniform method. We will make it a little
bit smaller or bigger to your liking and we will
move it a little bit up, so we will have some space
around these elements. If you want to rotate it, you're welcome to
go and do that. If you want to
adjust it even more, go under work and
adjust it from here. Let's just spend
some time here and let's adjust our
cloud to our liking. Also, for these elements, we will need to have some
little space on our left. Let's again go on
the uniform and let's move it a little bit
more toward the right. When we have it in that way, let's just go and
deselect everything, and let's continue
working onto our cloud. Again, firstly, we
are going back to our list and we'll create
one more layer on top. We will clip it to
our previous layer. We will go to our icon and change the blending
mode to multiply. One more time, going
on with something like 40 or 50% for this opacity, and we will select both of these layers and we will
put them in the group. Let's rename this group
as rainbow clout. Now, let's get
back to this layer 16 that we clipped
to our first layer, and then we'll go again to our color palettes and
select our yellow color. We will do the same thing
as we did right here. We will go to some
of the areas and we will put this little
dividing part. Again, let's just spend
some time here and let's create the shadows or these
little dividing parts. Now, when we are done with
this little dividers, let's just go and put the
shadow on the bottom. Again, let's just go over
the bottom part on the left, and we will start by creating
a shadow going in that way. If you want to work on
the shape on the shadow, you are welcome to
go and do that. Then we will go again and
de create the size of brash and we will go and put
these additional elements. Firstly, let's just go with
these elements like that. We will just go and
add a few dots or little lines to add
some texture to it. Again, if you want, you can go right into the middle part of your cloud and put a few dots here so they will be
some kind of freckles. When we are done with it, let's just go and add a few
more elements like this. When we are done with
adding these details, let's again go to our layers. We'll tap on the plus icon, and we will start
adding facial features. Firstly, we are going again to our color palettes and
selecting our brown color. Let's increase the size
of eye brush and we'll put the similar dots to
what we had on our sun. Again, going to one
of the sides firstly, creating the first eye, and then going into
the same line on the opposite side and
putting the second dot. When we did it, let's de
criticize of brush to the same size that
we had right here and right here on
our little clouds. Let's just go right
between the eyes and let's create a very kissy mouth. We will just create
a digit three. When we have it,
we will go a bath, our ice and we will put little
elements for our eyebrows. For example, let's just
go with simple curves. Hold it at the end,
if you need to, you can go and play around
with these elements. You can make them very curvy, or if you want to play
around with the sheep, you are welcome to
go and do that. You can vary their size and
you can vary their placement. When you are done
with these elements, let's just go and add
little highlights firstly. One more time, we'll pick
the color from our canvas, we'll invoke our eye drop a two by holding one
of our fingers. When the color on top is white, let's just raise up
our little finger. When we did it, let's
just go to the eyes and let's create peculiar
shapes for our highlights. For example, let's just go to the opposite sides from the highlights that
we had before, and we will just go and
create little hearts here. Create a shape of the heart, and when you have it in one eye, let's just go to the opposite one and do the same thing here. When we have the yes, when we have them fully done
with all the highlights. Let's just go again to
our color palettes. Again, we will select
the peach color. We will increase the
size of our brush. We will go underneath the eye. We will put our little
dots for the cheeks. When we have the dots
for the cheeks, again, we're going back to
our color palettes and who will select
the red color? Let's decrease the
size of our brush. Let's go inside our cheeks and let's add our little lines. Now, when we are done
with our clouds, let's just go again
to our layers, we will go to this layer
where we have our shadow. We will tap on the plus icon, we will select these
two layers and we will drag them higher
than our new layer. Now we are going back
to this new layer. We are going back to
our color palette and selecting our
background details color. Now, let go and add this additional element
the same way as before, or you can just play around with the shape for this element. Make sure that the
line is closed, dragging drop the color inside, and let us go in criticize of abrah and let go and
add a few more details. When you're satisfied
with everything here, let's just go and the rainbow. Firstly, we are going into
our layers and we will create one more layer above this layer with the
additional elements. Let's just stop
on the plus icon. When we did it, let
just get back to our color palette and we will start with this
rainbow red color. When we pick this color, let just go and
increase the size of our brush just
a little beads, and we will go to the left side and we will create
a circle here. Let just hold it at the end, and then we will go under our lives and we will
select circle right here. Let's position it nicely
onto your canvas. You can take a look at your illustration
from the Gistans. You can just find the
placement that you would like, and when you found it, let's just go and
tap on the screen. When we have this element done, let's go to our layers, and we will make a
copy of this elements. One more time, let's
just wind this layer from right to left and we
will choose duplicates. Now, we will go to this layer. We will go to our color palettes and we will select
our next color, our rainbow orange color. Let's just drag it
to this element, and when you have
it in that way, you can go to your arrow
key and make this element a little bit smaller
and position it underneath our first element. Firstly, let's just
make it smaller, and then we will go and
position it to the bottom. Okay. Connect these
elements nicely. When you are done,
let's deselect everything and we will
do it one more time. Again, we are going
into our layers. We are making a copy of this
layer, choosing duplicate, going back to our
color palettes and selecting the next
color, rainbow yellow. Dragging it to this area, go into our air icon, making these elements
smaller and position it nicely underneath
our previous color. Okay. When you did it, let's just tap on our arrow
key to deselect everything, and we are doing
it one more time. Going back to our layers, making a copy all
this new layer, going back to our
color palettes, select dragging the
color to this area, going into our arrow icon, making it smaller and position it underneath our
first elements. When you did it one more time, tapping, going back
to our layers, making a copy, go into our color palette,
selecting rainbow blue, going into this
area, recoloring it, and then we will go again to our arrow icon and
making it smaller, position it underneath
our green color. Okay. When you did it, doing it one more time. Going back to our
lease, making a coope, going into our color palette, selecting rainbow purple, and adding the
color to this area. Then again, go
into our air icon, making it smaller and position it underneath our blue color. Now, let's deselect everything
by hitting our key, and if you want to work
more onto your rainbow. For example, you can make
it smaller or bigger. We can just go to our layers
and we can select all of these layers that belong to our rainbow and put
them in the group. We will go again to this group. We will select it, we will
go to our arrow icon, and we can position
it differently, find different placements,
find maybe different size, find what works for you. When you're satisfied with these elements, let's
deselect everything, and let's continue by
going to our next part, where we'll create our
last illustration.
5. Sad Cloud: Let's begin this part firstly
by going to our layers and we will go to this rainbow cloud group,
we will collapse it. When it is selected, let's just make this whole thing
a little bit smaller. Let's go to our
ero icon and let's just make it smaller and maybe
position it differently. If you want to rotate
it, go and rotate it, find a better
placement for it and make some space for
our last illustration. When we did it, let's deselect everything, let's one more time, go to our layers,
and let's create one more layer above
our rainbow clouds. When we have it, one more time, we are going to our
color palettes, and we are selecting
the white color. Let's go and create another
shape for the clouds and let's again create
something different to what we have
already on our screen. Again, starting by
creating some petals and just creating a pecular
shape for our clouds. Close the shape and then drag
and drop the color inside, and if you need to work more on your little
illustration here. When you are done with
the overall shape, let's just go again
to our arrow. Let's make it a
little bit smaller. Let's rotate it a
little bit too, and let go and if you want to, we will go under work and play with the whole
shape if we want to. Let's again go under our uniform method and
let's just drag it a little bit higher so we will have a bit of space
on the bottom. Again, find the
placement that you like when you're satisfied with the position of these elements. Let's deselect everything
by hitting our arrow key. One more time, going back to our layers and creating
one more layer above. Let's clip it to
our previous layer, and let's go to our icon and change the bland
in mode to multiply. Go into something like 40
or 50% for our opacity, and then going again to our color palettes and
selecting our yellow color. Let's decrease the size
of a brush and let's just go and add
additional elements here. So again, starting by going
to this little dance, and let's just go and create
little shapes like that. Work with your
brush and work with your eraser to
create nice shapes. If you want to go and
add more elements, you are welcome to
go and do that. Firstly, let's just go and create two of these
little intersections, and then we will go to this little element
right here on the right, and we will just go and create a particular shape like that. Also, we will just go
to some other elements, some other sides, and we will just go and add
a few more details. Let's just start by putting
a few dots and a few lines, and then we will go on the bottom and create
this big shadow here. Again, just going through
the whole shape or more to one of the sides and just creating
this big shadow. The additional elements, if you want to work more on the shape, when you are done,
let's just go to the middle part and let's add
our little freckles here. Take a look at your cloud from the distance and if you like it, let go again to our layers, and let's create one
more layer above. Let's select all three of these layers and let's
put them in the group. Let's rename this
group as set clout. Now, when we are
done, let's just get back to our new layer and we will go again to our color palettes and
select our brown color. Let's go and put these
two dots for our eyes, the same way as we had it on our sun and on our
previous cloud. When we have the eyes, let's decrese the
size of our brush and we will go right
between the eyes, and we'll create
a very set mouth. Adjust the placement,
adjust the size, adjust the curvature if you want to find what works for you. When you have it, let's
just go away from our editing mode and let's just go and work more
onto the details. Firstly, we will just pick the color from this
white element. We will go to the
ice and we will add our very set highlights. Let's just go and put the
big dots like that firstly. Then we will decreticize
of our brush and we will go and put a few
more dots like that. When we have it in that
way on the same layer, let just go back to
our color palette, select our peach color, and put the dots for our cheeks. This time, let just
go a little bit more toward the
sides from our eyes. Take a look at it
from the distance, and when you are happy
with your cheeks, let's just get back to our color palettes like the red color, and let's just go and
put these lines inside. When we are done
with the cheeks, let's just go to our arrow key, and we will make facial
features a little bit smaller, so we'll just go to one
of the corners and we will just drag it down or
up depending on the corner. Let's position it somewhere
in the middle of our clouds, and then we will go and deselect everything by hitting our
arrow key one more time. Now, let's go back
to our layers, we'll go to this layer where we have our shadows and from here, we'll create one more layer. We will go again to
our color palette, and we will select this
background details color. With this color, we
will go underneath the eye and we will go and
create the shapes like that. We are creating a crime cloud. When you have it on one eye, let's just do the same
on the opposite side. If you want to create
some little drops, you are welcome to
go and do that. Okay. Now, when we have
our facial features, let's just work more on the
bottom part of this element. Let's just go to our
layers and let's just go underneath our
layer with our cloud. We just need to go firstly to our layer where we
have our shadows, create one more layer
here and then select these two layers and drag them higher than this new layer. When we did it, we
will go back to our color palettes and we
will select our yellow color. With this color, we
will go more toward the middle part of our
cloud underneath it, and we will start by creating
a little lighting here. Before that, make sure you are
doing it on the new layer, which is our layer 32. So we are starting by creating the line going
down in that way. Then we are creating
a little step and going down with
the line like that. When you have it, we will need to add some thickness to it. Let's just go to the right, we will go up with
the line like that, and then we will continue by creating a little step again. When you have the
result like that, if you want to make
something different, if you want to find a
different placement, you are welcome to
go and do that. Let's just make it just
a little bit bigger. Let's position it more toward the center and
when you have it, let's just go and deselect everything by hitting
our arrow key. Now, we will go over the
top of this element and we will close the shape and then we'll drag and drop
the color inside. If you need to
work on the shape, maybe make some lines
more straight or turn on the corners into
the very smooth lines, you are welcome to
go and do that. Let's just work on the shape
and make it more clean. When you're satisfied
with the element, let's go to our layers, and we will create
one more layer above. We will clean this layer to our previous one and we
will add some details here. Firstly, we are going back to our color palette and you can decide whether you want to use the same yellow color
or an orange one. Firstly, we will go and create the shadow underneath
our little cloud. Just go in there and
repeating the shape. Now, you don't see it, but we will need to go to
our layers and we will go to our icon and change the
blending mode to multiply. When you have it, let's just decide on the amount of opacity. For this element, let's
just go around 60%. Now, if you have
some gap on the top, you can go and
manually recolor it, and then let go and add
a few more details. Firstly, let just go again to our color palettes and
select this brown color. We will decret the
size of our brush, and we will go right
underneath our little clouds and we will just make a little
divider with this color. Also with the same color, we can just go and add a
few lines of our details. When we have
something like that, let's just go again to our layers and let's
create one more layer. Onto this layer, we will go
back to our color palettes and we will go and select this
background details color. We will get back to our
layers and we will go to the icon and change the
blending mode to multiply. For now, let's just
keep it at maximum. We will go and increase the size of our brush to
something similar to the amount of the size that we have
on facial features. Let's just go and create a
few lines going in that way. Try to make them parallel to one another and when you have
the lines like that, n just grip ser and n just
add some gaps to them. When you have the
result like that, let's just go again
to our layers, and let's create one more layer for these details
at the background. We will go and create the layer from here from this layer
where we have our rain, so let just tap
on the plus icon. We will select all
these three layers that we have underneath and
we will drag them up. We already using our
background details color. So let just go and create this additional
shape on the bottom. Again, make sure you are
doing it on a new layer, which is our layer 35. Close the shape and drag
and drop the color. If you need to adjust the
placement or the size of it, go to your arrow key and
adjust it from here. Then let's increase
the size of a brush and let's add a few more
additional elements. Okay. And when you are done, let's go again to our layers. We will collapse our
group with the set cloud. When it is selected, we
will go again to our key, and we will find a
better placement for it, maybe a better size for it. If you want to rotate it, you are welcome
to go for it too. So find a placement
for the elements. When you are satisfied, take a look at your illustration
from the distance, make sure that you
like everything here, and when you do, you are
done with your class. Thank you for
watching this class, liver review if you
like it and continua subscribing for more
CI vs in the future. Looking forward to
seeing your projects.
