1. Introduction : Hello, everyone. I'm Uni and in this class, we are going to draw this cute away illustration of an adorable galaxy girl in Procreate. During this class, you'll get familiar with a lot of useful features like symmetry tool, alpha log, leaping masks, and blading modes and learn the basics of drawing in Procreate. By the end, you'll not only draw an adorable illustration you'll be proud of, but also feel super confident using procreate. And now let's spend some time drawing. 2. Scheme & Face Sketch: Let's begin by deciding what kind of canvas we are getting EM. Today we're using a standard square canvas that you can find in Procreate. Both our pixel width and Pixel hat are set at 2048 pixels. Our DPI are at 300 and our color profile is set as SRGB with this low number. Men's all done, heating done, getting redirected to our new Canvas, Domnte I just a little bit. And now let's just go to the project and Rush sup and download all the materials mentioned in this class. When you did it, the first thing that we need to do is to go to our brush library. We'll go to the sketching folder and we will select this NarnderPencil brush. When we did it, let's just go to our color palette we'll go the card, and let's just go and select some darkish color. For example, dark blue lines. We will start our illustration by creating a little scheme that will help us to create our illustration. Let's first go over the top. We will step a bit from it and we will create a straight line going through the whole shape of our canvas. In the end, we will hold our Apple pencil and we will also hold one of our fingers on the screen to make sure that we've created a straight line. When we did it, let's just go and do the same on the bottom. Just go in and creating the same horizontal line, holding it at the end, holding one of our fingers on the screen. And if you see that you are not creating the same space that you have right here on the top, we can go over this option line over the top. This is our editing mode and you can see we have these two nodes right here. If you accidentally went away from it, you are welcome to just repeat it one more time and create another straight line the same way as before. And then let's just go to this line and we will go through our editing mode and we will just drag it a little bit higher. So we will have an equal space right here on the bottom. You can see how easily we can do it in our editing mode, just holding our Apple pencil and dragging it up. And when we have the results like that, let's just tap on the screen to go away from this mode. Now, when we have something going in that way, let's continue by going over our top line. We will step just a bit from it and we will create another straight line underneath it. Doing the same thing here, holding our Apple pencil, holding one finger on the screen, and then just leaving it as it is right now. When we have the results like that, we will go to the space that we have on the bottom and we will need to create three equal parts. Let's just go and start doing it the same way as before, just creating our line, holding our Apple pencil at the end, holding our finger to create a straight line. And if we need to move it just going over the top and adjusting it by holding our Apple pencil and moving it up or down. Make sure that it is making a third from all the space that you have on the bottom, when you already just tap on the screen and do the same one more time. Now creating another horizontal line, again, holding everything that we need to hold, moving our line upper or down if we need to just go to the 18 mode and do it from here. When we have the results like that, let's just tap on the screen, and then let's just go and turn one option that Procrit has that will help us to create a few more lines from here. But before doing that, let's just go and name these lines that we have right here so we are not confused with them. Let's just go over this top line and we will write down top buns. Underneath this line will be our here top. The next line is our fringe. Underneath this will be our chin, and the very last line is our bottom. Now when we did it, let's just go to our ringe. We'll go under Canvas and we will toggle drawing guides. Now you can see we have these cells, but it's not the option that we need, let's just go to Ed drawing guides and on the bottom, we will select the option symmetry. Now we have just one line like that. We will just hit down over our top right for now, let's just go to our color palettes and let's select some contrast colors. For example, we can go with this pinkish color with the title highlight here. When we have this color, let's just go to this line that we have right here in the center and from it, we will step just a little bit to create another straight line going down, but it will be this time vertical. You also can see that we are creating it on both sides. We just need to do the same thing here. We will just hold our Apple pencil will hold one of our fingers and we will create a straight line like that. If you want, we can just move it slightly to the center, so we will just go and create it in that way. And when we have the results like that tapping on the screen, let's just go and create two more lines. Go into the sides firstly and stepping a bit from them and creating two more lines like that. Again, holding our Apple pencil, holding our little finger onto our screen, and creating something in that way. When we have the result like that, go into the rest of the space that we have right here and just making sure that we are creating a new line, going in the center from this line that we've created right here onto the side and our middle line. Just go in there a little bit closer to this line that we have right here onto opposite side and just holding our line and creating something in that way. Now when we have the grid like that, let's go and start creating our sketch. Firstly, go into our layers and creating one more layer on top. And if you see that maybe your lines of the grid are a little bit too bright and a bit distracting, you can just go to this icon right here onto your layer and go to the aposte later, hold it and drag it a little bit toward the left until you still can see what's happening here, but when it's not that bright. When you add down, just get back this new layer and we will need to select this assisted drawing as we have it on our previous layer. Let's just tap on this layer and lets select drawing assist from the list. Now, firstly, let's just get back to our color palettes and select, again, our darkish color, and then we will go back to our brush library sketching folder and this time we will select technical pencil brush. Now when we have set everything that we need for our sketch, let's just start by going and creating our lines for the chin and for the face. So going into this line that we have for our chin and going up to the line that we have for the fringe. So let's just go with a simple shape like that. As for the vertical lines, we will be just going along this line that we have here right here in the middle and we will be just creating something going in that way. If you want, we can go a little bit higher than this line that we have for the fringe. We will need to have some kind of the face right here later on. And if you feel that maybe you want to adjust the size of your brush or adjust the size of everything here, or if you have some additional lines that you don't need, you are welcome to go and grab your eraser, and you are welcome to make any adjustments that you need to achieve that similar look to what you see right now on your screen. If you see that maybe you went a little bit beyond this frame that we have our line for the chin, you can either go and manually try to adjust it. So just go there and create another line a little bit higher and then erase the line that you don't need, or we can just go and try to adjust it a little bit in a different way. So when we have the results like that and when we are not quite satisfied with our ship, we can go to the major 12 right here over our top left and go under liquefied. On the bottom, we are going to be using our option push, and we have this slider size, so we can just go and adjust it and make it a little bit, like a 50% or something. And then we can just go to some of the areas that we have right here on our illustration, and we can just go and switch them a little bit to achieve the result that we want. So we can just go to the chin and maybe drag this line a little bit higher and overall work on the shape of the face. So let's just make it less rounded by going closer to the center with our push brush. When we have something going in that way, let's just tap on our adjustments twice to get away from the sod and let's just get back to our brush. When we have the result like that, let's just go a little bit higher than the sheep that we have right here in the middle. If you think that maybe you want to go and create another line right here, you are welcome to go and do that to find the center of the sheep. When you find the center of the sheep, we will just need to go to the sides and we will be going there and creating little ears. Let's first go to the bottom and we will create a little line like that, and then we will go higher, and we will be just going there and creating the shape like that. We are not going to this line that we have for the fringe. We are going a little bit lower than it. And then when we have these two curves, we will be just going to the middle part of them and creating a dent right here to create a shape of the ear. So very easily just go and create something going in that way. And when we have the result like that, let's just zoom in our canvas and let's just go and create the inner part of the ear. Firstly, going closer to the cheek and from this line, we are stepping a bit toward the right if you are working on the right side and creating a little shape like that. When you have this little bump right here, let's just go over the top and we will continue creating our inner part just by going with this line going up, and then we will continue by creating a curve on the top. So when you have this shape in that way, let's just go to this bottom part on the ear and let's just go and add an accessory here in a shape of the circular shape. Manually go and create the shape like that. If you want, you can just go and shade it. Later on, you will know that you will need to add some color here and maybe some details here. Now when we have the result like that, if you want to maybe work more onto the ear and create a different shape, you're welcome to go and do that. You can do it manually or you can just get back to your liquefied tool and adjust it from here. When you're satisfied for now with the shape of the ears, let's just go and start working on the shape of the fringe right here. Let's just go to this line that we have for our fringe and from it, we will be just going from the center toward the ears and creating a little shape like that. Not creating a straight line, but creating a curve going in that way, you can just go and try it out a few times if you see that maybe you want to go and grab an eraser and erase the parts that you don't need and maybe thinner this line, you are welcome to go and do that. Basically, what we need is something like that. When we have the results in that way, let's just go to the middle part and while we have our fringe line and when we have our line for the chin, let's just go and start working on the shape of the eyes. Firstly, let's just go and find the line that we are using our line for these ears, and we will just go from it and create a line going toward the center. When we have it, we will go down and we will find the line that we have for the bottom part of our little ear right here. Again, we will create another line going toward the center. You don't need to be very precise, create a slight line like that and when we have something going in that way, firstly, we can just go to this middle part right here on this line that we have on the bottom of the ears and make a little dot right here. That dot will represent the nose and from this dot, we will go B down and create a line for our mouth. You can create a different shape, but for now, let's just go to the middle part of this little part right here on the bottom, and we will go and create a little mouth go in that way. So for now just mapping out where all the things will be. And when we have these two shapes done, let's just go to this space and we will start creating an eye here. We can just go and step a bit from this line that we have right here, our pinkish line and make a little markdown right here. Step into this little space that we have over our opposite side and from here, we will be just going and creating a shape going up in that way. Let's just go and start creating the first curve and creating the shape for our eye. You can see that we are creating not quite a shape of the ellipse or a circle. If you want to adjust the shape to your liking, you are welcome to go and do that. We just need to go and create the domi shape like that. When we have the shape like that over the top part, let's just go to the bottom. We will step a bit from this line that we have right here over our ear and we will be just going there and connecting our new shape that we are working on now with the shape that we have on the top. So just creating a line on the bottom and trying to make it more curvy than the line that we have on the top. So just go on there, creating a few lines, working on the overall shape, and when we have something going in that way, let's just grab our eraser and we will erase all the lines that we don't need. So let's just try to make this line that we have on the bottom very, very soft. And when we have something going in that way, let's just grab our brush one more time, and let's just go and work more onto the oral shape of our eyes. So go on there, working on the shape, and then we'll go over the top and we will start creating our eyelash line. So let's start to do that firstly by going to the sides of our eyes. Let's connect it nicely in that way, and then we will go to this side that we have right here and we will go up with another curve. Just creating a slight curve like that, and then on the top, we are just going there and connecting our first shape that we've created for the eye with this new shape that we've created on the bottom. Creating a shape going in that way. If you want straight away, you can just go and shade this part. Go in there and manually recoloring this area. When we have the result like that, let's just go and add a few more eyelashes over the top. Just step in from this first eyelash, if you want, you can just go and maybe make it a little bit more visible, just by creating a triangular shape like that. Then we will go a little bit higher and create a few more smaller eyelashes or the sop area. Work more onto the shape if you want to connect your first shape that you've created for the eyelashes right here with this shape that we've created over the bottom part, create a nicer element right here on the bottom. We will just need to create a thicker line on the outside part and a thinner line right here onto the side that we have inside. If you want to go and maybe create a different shape for this little eyes that you have right here, work more on the bottom part and work more onto this connection between the shapes. If you see that maybe you will need to go and adjust the thickness of the lines or the curvature of the lines with your eraser, just go and do that. Now when we have the result like that, let's just go toward the inner parts of our eyes and let's just go and create the rises element. We'll step a bit from this corner that we have outside and we will be just going up with a shape of half of the circle or half of the ellipse. Just manually with a few lines like that, going up and creating our shape. Adjust it to your liking, make it as big or as small as you like. If you want, you can use this option that we used before just by holding your line and the ends and adjusting it through the editing mode. Basically what we need is the shape like that. So if you have some lines that you need to erase, just go grab your eraser and erase the lines that you don't need. When you have the result that you like, let's just get back to a brush, and let's just go inside this shape, and we will create the actual iris here. Going to the inside part to the middle of this sheet that we've created and creating a shape going in that. When we have the result like that, let's just take a look at it from the distance and decide whether we want to adjust it or not. If we want to do that, we can go straight away to our liquefied tool and adjust it a little bit. For example, let's just go to the eyes and select our push option and make this top part of the eyes a little bit more open. We will be just creating a shape going in that way. If you see that you can adjust some other parts of your illustration right now at this stage when we are creating our sketch, you are welcome to go and tweak them to your liking. So now let's just spend some time here and adjust the shape of our eyes to make them a little bit more rounded and more open. If you need to adjust something manually after you are done with your liquefied tool, just get back to your canvas and adjust it manually by using the brush or eraser. If you want to just spend some time here at your adjustments at your magic one tool, maybe work with the ears or with the overall shape of the face or some other elements, you are welcome to go and do that. For example, we can just go and move this little line that we have for our mouth a little bit down and overall, just go to the sides and make the head a little bit smaller. Take a look at it from the distance, decide whether you like it or not. If you are satisfied with everything here, let's just go away from our adjustments. Now when we have the results like that, let's just get back to our brush. If you have some lines that are distracting onto the face, you are welcome to go and erase them. For example, we can go to these additional lines that we've created while we were making our eyes. Then when you are done with them, let's just go to these top parts on the ice we will step a bit from them and we will go and create the lines that we will use later on for the leads. Just repeating the overall shape of the ice and creating two lines like that. When we have the result like that, let's just go and start working once our fringe. 3. Hair & Body Sketch: Let's just grab our little eraser right here and we will go to this line that we've created for the fringe. We will soften it up a little bit, and we will be just going a little bit higher than we created this line, and we will be going in a shape like that, going to the center and going up with a shape like that, going closer to the shapes where we have started creating our eyes. So going either to this line that we have in the center or a little bit to the side from it and going higher with a shape of the triangular fringe like that. When we've created an illustration in that way, let's just go and make the overall pace a little bit smaller and we can do it very easily just by going to our ER key uniform method and snapping, we will turn into our settings here too. When we have the results like that, let's just go to the node that we have right here on the top in the middle and we will drag this whole thing a little bit down. So we will be adjusting the shape that we have right here that we've created. If you need to move it, we can just go and move it a little bit, look into this orange line that we have in the center and adjusting it from here. So for now, let's just go with the size like that. So we will have our chin and fringe shape right here, and overall, our shape will look like that. So when we made it in that way, let's just go and adjust it just by tapping on our key one more time to get away to our canvas. And let's just go and continue creating our shape. What we need to get back to is our eraser and we will just lift our shape that we are using right now for our fringe, just a little bit to this shape that we have as our line on the guidance sheep. Let's just go and continue creating our fringe just by lifting it a little bit higher. So when we have the results like that, let's continue by going to these additional lines that we've added for our middle part for our fringe and let's just go and start working on it. Let's just go and continue creating it just by going up in that way and we will meet these two lines in the center somewhere on the top. So when we hand the results like that, we will just need to work more on it, and we will need to go and create the shapes that we have right now for the fringe on the bottom in that way. So the parts that we are creating on the bottom will be more rounded. When we hand the shape like that, let's just go grab our eraser and we will erase all the lines that we don't need. So very accurately just go into these lines and thinning them up. When we have something going in that way, we can go to the center right here and maybe make a little gap right here so it doesn't look very weird. When we have the result going in that way, let's continue by going to the sides and we will continue creating our fringe. We will go from one of the lines on the sides and we will go from it with another curve. We are trying to repeat the overall shape that we have for this first curl that we've created for our fringe, maybe going a little bit closer to the that we have right here on the side. Just creating a gap going in that way and from it, we will be just going to the sides and creating another curve there. Stepping a bit from it and going up with another rounded shape like that. When we have this line, let's just step a bit from this line that we have for our head and from it, we will be just going there and creating the last part on the fringe that we need here. Just go in there with the rounded curve like that, creating it going in that way, and we will need to go with this line to this line that we have right here for he top. So either just go from the top right here and start by creating a little dent in the center. From this dance, let's just go to the sides and let's start creating the shape like that. So it will be flatter on the top, and it will go a little bit rounder on the bottom. Just create a few lines and just create a shape that you would like to see here. Again, trying to make it rounder on the bottom and a little bit flatter on the top. Let's just grab our eraser and erase all the lines that we don't need, go and selecting the lines that we like here. Now, let's just go to the top and let's continue creating this overall shape of the fringe, and then we will be just going to this bottom part and we'll be creating the lines on the bottom. If you see that maybe this shape that you have right here for the fringe is too rounded, we can just go and fix it a little bit just by going to the sides over the first shape that we've created and thin it up just a little bit by creating a few more lines more toward the center. When we have the result like that, let's just go more toward the center and we'll be starting to create a few more lines right here. Now with these shapes, we are creating some gaps right here that later on we will grab our eraser and cut these lines that we have on the bottom to create some flow effect here. We can go to these little lines that we have right here and create the gaps here, take a look at it and decide whether these gaps are too big. You can just go and adjust it by going and creating another line to just make this gap a little bit smaller. Connect it nicely on the bottom and actually let's just go to this bottom line and let's just start creating more gaps right here and erasing the parts that we don't need. You can vary the size of these elements. All that you need to remember that we will need to go not with the straight lines, but with the curves. Let's just go and create a couple of these little elements, then we will grab our eraser and we will erase these lines that we don't need on the bottom. If you have some extra lines that you don't need to, just grab your eraser and erase them very accurately going along the lines that you have right here. Now when we have the result like that, let's just get back to our branch and let's just work onto the side elements. Again, just go in there and creating some gaps and working on the overall shape that we have on the bottom. Create little triangular shapes, mate with the curves. And as for these elements right here outside the shape, we just need to go onto this curve that we are creating right here and finish up the overall shape just by adding a few lines like that. If you have some lines that you need to erase that belong to the face, you are welcome to go and do that. Overall, just go and erase all these little gaps that you've created and create these gaps just manually going on the bottom. Now, let's just take a look at it from the distance and decide whether we want to adjust the shape by going to our liquefied tool. Let's just go and do that if we need to, for example, we can just go and maybe make this overall shape a little bit rounder on the top or on the contrary, we can just go and make it a little bit more triangular and make the overall shape on the bottom, a little bit more rounded. You can just spend some time here and adjust it to your liking. And when you are overall done, let's just go again to our canvas and let's continue creating the rest of the shapes. Now let's just get back to our brush and let's just go and start creating these buns right here. We will be going there and firstly, we will create the shapes of the circles. Go in there and creating not too big of the circles right here. And when we have these two shapes, let's just turn them into the more interesting shapes just by going alone the shape of the circle that you've created and creating some random bumps here. Try to create a nice shape and don't add too much of these elements. Four or five will be enough. Just pay attention more towards the overall shape of these objects and try to make them as they are part of the hair. When we have the result like that, let's just grab our eraser and we will erase all the lines that we don't need. Just go inside the shapes and erasing everything that we don't need. Now when we have the result like that, let's continue by going and adding the rest of the here, just by going to the sides. We will be starting by going between the shapes that we have for our bands and our overall shape of the fringe and from here, we will be going down with the shapes in that way. We have these lines on the sides and that means that here we just need to stop creating our here. Let's just go and start creating these little bombs. Basically what we need is to create some kind of the cloud right here with this here. You can just go with the bigger shapes. You can try out differently shaped elements that you are creating right now. Let's just go to the bottom and create a few more bumps right here. Freely go there and create the shape going in that way. Again, we are creating them going on the little curf right here and when we have the result that we like, let's just go and adjust it by using our liquefied two. Again, go into our push option and let's just go and sculpt our shape, so we will like it more. Let's just spend some time here, maybe make it a little bit smaller and overall, what we need is to create a shape of the cloud right here. Let's just lift it up a little bit maybe on the bottom and create a smaller shape right here at the back of the hair. Let's just go and sculpt it to our liking, create the overall shape for this hair that you like. If you want to go to some other areas and maybe adjust them too, you are welcome to go and do that. For example, we can go and adjust the shape of our bands right here on the top or the fringe. If you want to go to the shape of the head or the eyes or any other areas, you are welcome to go and do that too. So for now, let's just keep it as it is right now and we will just get back to our canvas by tapping on our adjustments twice. And then let's just grab our brush one more time, and we will go and start creating the additional shape right here in the shape of the little neck right here. Let's just go to these two lines that we have right here and we will go a little bit closer to the center and we will create two lines that will be vertical. You can elongate them a little bit and create something going in that way. And even if you think that they are too thick, you are welcome to go and make them else bit thinner. So let's just go and create these lines a little bit more toward the center, if you think that maybe you want to go and adjust the curvature or anything here or the size right here, you are welcome to go grab your eraser and adjust it. Then let's just go to this little shape that we've created for our hair and from it, we will be just going a little bit higher than our hair and we will create a little shape for the neck that we will have here. Let's just go with a rounded shape like that. We will have a bit of space right here on the side and we will just need to go and close the shape by creating these additional elements at the back. So now when we have something going in that way, we will also need to go to the side, and we will start by going to these slides that we have in the center and here from the bottom. We'll be just going up and we will be starting to create the shape of the shoulders right here. Let's just go and start going up with the shape like that, and then we will just need to go and create some kind of a bottle shape right here for our neck and connect it nicely with the overall shape that we are working on now on the bottom. So let's just go and start creating the shape like that. Just explore some little elements right here. If you think that maybe you want to go with a different shape for the shoulders, you are welcome to go and do that. You are welcome to try out a couple of things here. You are welcome to go and erase all the lines that you don't need. Just create something that you would like to see here, and if you have some lines that you need to erase or adjust, let's first go and close the shape on the bottom, just by going and creating a curve going in that way. Creating a nice outline on the bottom, and we will erase all the lines that we don't need that are going beyond this line. Now let's one more time, go back to our liquefied tool and we will go and adjust the shape just a little bit, maybe just by making it a little bit smaller and adjusting the overall shape just by going and pushing some of the elements and adjusting it to our liking. Get away from this window when you are ready. So now let's just critically take a look at our illustration and decide whether we want to adjust some parts or not with our liquefied tool. If you want to do that, let's just go and very quickly do it. So for example, let's just go back to our liquefied tool and we will be just going there, firstly, let's just work onto the shape of our head. Let's just go and despite this line that we've created onto our sketch, let's just go and make this overall shape a little bit bigger and just go and create it going in that way. And also we will just need to go and maybe make the bonds that we have right here little bit bigger, and we can go and do it very easily just by using this expand option right here. When we are using expand option, we will just need to go and adjust the size of our brush, and then we will go and adjust the size of these elements just by going to the center on them and just by tapping on these elements and adjusting the size of them. If you don't like how this expand option works, you are welcome to go and maybe play around with the push option and adjust it to your liking. Also, let's just spend some time here and adjust the overall shape of the hair. If you think that maybe this shape that we have right here for our little shape on the bottom, our little close element is a little bit too big or the other areas that you would like to adjust here. Let's just spend some time here and adjust the shapes to our lichen. When you worked with your liquefied tool and you have the results, for example, like this or in any other way that you have right here, you are welcome to get back to your canvas and adjust some as to your liking because probably you will have some elements, a little bit twitched. So you will just need to go and maybe make some parts rounder or maybe you just think that maybe you want to work more onto some other eras. For example, we can just go and make the ears just a little bit bigger. So just go outside the shape that we have here and overall just repeating the shape that we have here. Creating a bigger shape for the ears just by moving them a little bit down. If you have some elements that you need to erase, let's just go erase them. Let's just work onto the overall shape that we want right here. So let's just go repeat this shape that we had right here for our earring or something like that, and then work more onto the inner part of the ear. Also, let's just get back to our eyes and let's just go to the bottom parts of them and let's just go and create a few eyelashes here too. Just go in there and creating three or four of these elements. If you want to refine some lines, if you were adjusting them with the liquefied tool, you are welcome to go and do that. So just work onto the shapes and find what works for you. Also, we can go to the little dots that we have right here to our little gaps, and we can just go and create little lines here to just map out that here we will have some browse. If you want to work more onto the other shapes, again, you are welcome to go and do that. Just refine the lines and create something that you would like to see here. Even though now we are creating just a sketch and mostly mapping everything out onto our illustration, we would want this illustration, this sketche to look very finished and very refined. So later on, it will be easier for us to recreate everything that we have right here. So when you are overall satisfied with everything that you have for your little sketch right now, let's just go and do the following. Let's just go to the layers. We can see that our layer with our sketch is now assisted. Let's just tap on this layer and let's select drawing assist from the lays to turn off this option. And now we will just go and add some additional elements to our picture. Just get back to our brush and firstly, let's just go to the elements that we have right here onto the top and we will go and we will add a few strengths of he that later on we can create onto our finished illustration. Not too much, just go and creating some peculiar shapes here to just add some interest to the picture. Also, when we are right here, we can go and add a bit of interest to this little ban and also add some space theme right here just by going and creating a shape going in that way. Just create an ellipse, hold it at the end, position it in that way. And if you need to adjust it even more, let's just go to our 18 mode and adjust it even more. So what we are creating right now is some kind of the planet thing right here and we will be just going there and creating it in that way. Let's just make it a little bit less open, and then we will just need to go inside the sheep, and we will need to add a copy of this element. So just zooming in our canvas and creating the similar sp inside, and if we need to adjust it even more, go into our ellipse tool on the top, which is our 18 mode and adjusting it from here. On the sides, let's just make it a little bit thicker and on the bottom and top elements, let's just make it a little bit more close to the inner shape that we have right here. Now when we have the results like that, let's just tap on the screen and let's just accept our changes and we will go to this line that we have right here on the top, and we will just go and erase it. Now when we have the result like that, let's just go grab our brush one more time. Let's just go underneath this shape and we will go and create a little shape on the circle. To create a perfect Buron circle, just create a shape in that way, hold your land in the end and also hold one of your fingers on the screen, adjust the size, go to the 18 mode and adjust the placement and position it somewhere right here. When we handle results like that, let's just go and continue adding some additional elements. For example, let's just go right here underneath our ear and let's create another planet here just the same way as we did before. Just creating a round shape, creating it, holding it at the end, holding one of our fingers, go into our editing mode and adjusting from here. Adjust it to your liking, find the placement. If you are at the editing mode, and if you want to go and adjust the size of the element, zoom in your canvas, go right between the nodes, hold your Apple pencil there, and adjust the size by moving your Apple pencil from side to side. So find the placement for this element, and when you are done, just accept the changes, and let's move on. Erase the parts that we don't need. If you are creating these additional elements and if you notice that you want to adjust some other parts, you are welcome to go and do that. For example, I would like to go and adjust this shape that we have for our little sweater right here and maybe lift up this line that we have right here for our top parts that we have on the neck. I will just go and adjust it right here. If you notice some elements that you would like to adjust, you are welcome to go and do that. Now let's just go to some of the here and let's just go and add a few more strengths right here. Let's just go over this side on the right and just randomly go and create some peculiar lines like that that will go outside the shape. Let's just go and add a few of them. If you want you can go to the bottom part and create some lines here, too. So for example, the strands going in that way, if you want to go and add them on the top, you are welcome to go and do that too. So the same way, if you want to go a little bit inside the shape and create some cuts here, you are welcome to go and try to create something that you would like to see here. Now let's also go to the sweater right here and we will create another planet here. Just go in there, creating our shape of the circle, holding it, making it not too big, and moving it a little bit closer to the center. Let's just find the placement for this element and when we have the results like that, let's again go and create this ring around our planet. If you need to adjust it, go and adjust it for your editing mode. Just switch these little element right here, switch them, adjust something that you want to adjust and create the shape that you would like to see here. Now, let's again, take a look at everything here and one more time, decide whether we want to adjust some parts or not. And if we want to do that, we will just go and spend a bit of the time right here and adjust some parts right here. Critically take a look at your illustration and decide whether you want to adjust some parts and if you want, just go and adjust them. And when you are satisfied with your result, one more time, let's just go back to our list and we will hide this layer with our scheme right here. Let's just go to this little check mark right here. We will just tap on it. We will hide our layer, and we will take a look at our illustration one more time, one more time deciding whether we want to adjust some parts or not. If you are satisfied with everything here, let's just move on to our next part where we are going to be creating the basic colors. 4. Base Colors: Face: Start with our basic colors. Firstly, let's one more time, get back to our list. We will tap on this icon where we have our sketch and we will go and make it a little bit more transparent, we see what's happening right here, but when it's not that bright. Let's tap on the layer and then let's create one more layer on top and we will also grab this lay and drag it underneath our lay with the sketch so we will be able to see and adjust some parts if we need to. Now when we have this sheet going in that way, let's again tap on the layer and let's select our draw assist. When we did it, let's just go to our brush library, and this time we will go to the ink and folder. We will select either technical pen Brush or studio pen Brush. So let one of these brushes and let's just go to our color palette, and let's just start by creating our skin. Let's select the color with Mm skin and let's just adjust the size of our brush, and we'll be going and recreating our sheep right here. Again, we are working on both sides evenly. So let's just go and firstly start from one of the sides and create the actual outlines. If you want your lines to be not that jagged, you are welcome to get back to the brush library, tap on the brush, go inside the brush studio and adjust the stabilization right here. We have this slider with amount of stream line. We can go and adjust it. We also can go to the stabilization right here and adjust it too. You can try it out onto a drown pad, how it works, how it feels. If you want to use this option, use it. If you don't want to use it, don't use it. If you want to get back later on and adjust this option later on, you are welcome to go and do that. When you are satisfied with everything here, let's just hit done, and one more time, let's just go and try out to create our outlines. You can hold your line at the end and create a nice outline in that way. If you need to go to the editing mode and adjust the curvature of this line, you are welcome to go and play around with these notes that you have onto your editing mode so you can just hold your Apple pencil there and adjust it to your liking. Let's just go and adjust it just by creating a nice outline, tap on the screen when you are done with it, and let's just go and actually close the shape over the top. So we just need to go along this shape that we have for the fringe and we will just need to go higher than the cuts that we have right here. Let's just go and create our shape just by going in that way. All that we need is the closed shape right here. When we have the shape like that, let's just drag and drop the color inside, and when we have it, let's just go to our ears and let's recreate them too. Just go in there and creating the basic shape that we have here. So just recreating the outline. And if you want, you don't really need to go and create everything with 100% of similarity to what you have on your sketch. If you see that maybe something is not working and you want to try out different things, you are welcome to go and experiment and create these shapes in a way that you like to see. All that we need to achieve is close lines. And actually, if you see that outlines the shape that you have outside is not very rounded, you are welcome to go and adjust it just by grabbing your eraser and maybe trying out a few times with your brush. When the outlines are nice and smooth, let's just drag and drop the color to the ears, and then we will also go and recreate the shape for our neck. Again, you can just hold your line in the end, hold one of your fingers on the screen if you want to create a straight line right here. And when you are done, just go and close the shape just by creating the line on the bottom, and then dragging and dropping the color inside. Now when we have the shape like that, let's just get back to our list. Let's create one more layer on top and let's just go and continue working on official features. We will be working on our eyes right here. Let's just tap on this layer and again, let's select a drone assist, and then we will go to our color palette and actually let's just start with the color within the white. When we have this color selected, using the same brush or if you want to create a more refined lines, you are welcome to go and select technical pen brush, the same inking folder. If you want your lines to be smooth, go again inside the brass studio stabilization, play around with the sliders. And let's just go and recreate the overall shape that we have right here for our eye. The same way as before, just go in there and creating the closed lines. Let's just go along the oral shape. Don't pay too much attention to these little shapes that you have for your little eyelashes over the you can just go a little bit higher than you have them onto your sketch. We will have a nice shape right here and we won't need to add more color or more lines over the top. When you have the closed lines, let's just drag and drop the color inside. Take a look at your illustration right here, maybe refine the lines on the bottom or on the top where it will be visible. When you have this white element, let's just go to our list and create one more layer on top. Again, let's just tap on this lay and let's select a drone AC so we will do it on both sides. Let's again go to our color palettes and this time, let's just work onto these elements that we have for our eye lashes. Let's select dark blue lines color and let's go and recreate the shape that we have right here for our eyelashes. Again, you can just go with your technical pen brush, create the line just with one line, hold it at the ends, go to the 18 mode and adjust it if you need to or just go manually and adjust the shape to your liking. When you have the first outline, let's just go and continue creating this top shape. Again, our main goal is to create the closed and smooth lines. If you want to play around with the shape, you are welcome to go and do that. As for the eyelashes that we have right here, we will need to work with them in a more finer lines. So we will need to create more picky shapes on the top, work with the triangular shapes, with the curves and something like that, and to create these eyelashes in that way. Also, if you see that maybe you leave this line that you have right here on the top of the eye a little bit too much, you are welcome to go grab your eraser, work with your brush, and adjust this line to your liking. Continue creating the shape, make nice connections between your lines and go to this bottom part right here and create a line here too. So just connect it nicely with the shape on the top, close the shape and then drag and drop the color inside. As for the shape on the bottom, we will just need to go and go gradually with the thickness of this line, it will be very, very thin right here. On the bottom, we can just go and erase this part a little bit, so it just nice goes inside the eye right here, and then we will just go to the side and add more thickness to it. Let's just go and try to do that. When we have the result like that, let's just go and drag and drop the color right here inside the sheep. Firstly, make sure that you have the closed line right here. And if it's easier for you to go manually and recolor this sheep, you are welcome to go and do that. Now, when we have recolored the sheep, let's just go and one more time, take a look at everything and decide whether we want to maybe work more on the overall shep, maybe work more on the eyelashes, make them a little bit more pointy at the top. So let's just go and refine these lines. If you want to work more on the overall shape, you are welcome to go and do that. Our ey eliner should be a little bit thicker on the side. If you have some picky little shape right here over the top, you can grab your eraser and make it a little bit flatter right here on the top. When we have something like that, let's just go to the bottom and let's create these little eyelashes here. If you want to work more on the shape that you have right here on the side, one more time, you are welcome to go and do that. Now, let's just go to these shapes that we have right here on the bottom to our eyelashes, and we will just need to go not with straight lines, we will just need to go with little curves that will go along the overall shape of our head. Just creating little picky shapes like that going in accordance with the shape of the head. So basically we are working with the curves and triangular shapes right here. Let's create a few of these little elements. If you want to go and maybe adjust them with your eraser, you are welcome to go and do that. Don't make them too prominent. All that we need to do here is to add a bit of the color here and a bit of interest right here, but they are not going to be too flashy. Again, take a look at everything and if you see that maybe you can improve some elements, maybe make these sides a little bit less rounded, you are welcome to go and do that. Just take a look at everything from the distance. It's always good to do that because you see more clearly what you are doing. If you need to get back to some areas with your brush, you are welcome to go and do that too. When we have the result like that, let's just go again to our layers and let's just get back to our previous layer and from here, we'll create one more layer right here. Let's tap on the lay. Let's select our drone assist and then we will go to our color palette and let's just start working with the same dark blue lines color, and we will go and recreate this whole area that we have right here. Let's just do just with one line, just go in there and creating the shape of half of the circle. Let's just hold it at the end. If you want to adjust it, let's just go to our editing mode, take a look at it from the distance, decide whether you like the position, whether you like the size of it, if you want to play rounds with the roundness or the position or anything right here while you are at the editing mode, you are welcome to go and do that. Now when you are overall satisfied, let's just tap on the screen and let's just pay more attention to the connections that we have with our eyelashes. If you have some not rounded elements, let's just go and manually connect them nicely with our line that we have right here on the top. As we will just need to go over the top area and close our ship so we will be able to drag and drop the color inside. When you drag the color inside, let's again go to our list. Let's create one more layer on top. Let's tap on this layer and let's select drone assist one more time. But also, we just need to tap on this layer one more time and we will select clipping mask. When we are using clipping mask, we'll be able to add additional colors only on the areas that we have right here on our previous layer to our big shapes for our eyes. Now, when we did it, let's go again to our brush library. We will select our studio pen brush, but we will tap on this brush, go inside our brush studio, and we'll adjust the amount of streamline and stabilization to a little bit lower value. Try it out. It should feel very flowy right here, very controllable and when you have it, let's just hit done and then we'll go back to our color palette and let's just go and select the color with the name dark purple eye. Let's go and adjust the size of Abush something a bit smaller and we will start by zooming in our canvas and then we will go over the top part and we will create a wavy shape like that. If you want to experiment, you are welcome to try out different shape, close the shape by looping it around and then drag and drop the color inside. Take a look at it from the distance, decide whether you like the overall shape, if you want to go and maybe play around with it and create a more rounded shapes right here where we have the connection with the actual shape of the eye, you are welcome to go and make the shapes rounder and connect them nicely. When you hand the shape that you like, if you want to also work onto the middle part and maybe make it a little bit rounder or bigger or smaller or anything that you want to do here, you are welcome to go and do the things that you want to do right here. Just try to make everything pretty rounded. When you hand the shape that you like, let's just get back to our color palette and let's select the next color, which is our magenta eye color. And we will be just going to the bottom part and creating another layer with this color. But actually, let's just go and do it on the separate layer. So go into our last, creating one more layer on top, tapping on the lay, selecting our drawn assist, tapping on the lay, selecting clipping mask, and then doing the same thing. But also while we are creating this part, let's just pay attention to this additional line that we have right here on our sketch that we've created for our iris. Let's just go and create a similar shape, but we will go and just loop the sheep around this additional line that we have on our sketch. Close the sheep, then drag and drop the color inside. Again, let's just work on the overall shape that we have right here. Grab your eraser, work on the sides, grab your eraser, work onto the middle parts, try to make nice line right here and the overall look that will look like we have the iris right here. As for the side that we have right here on at the right, let's just go and make it a little bit rounded. Let's just go and create it a little bit lower than it is right now. You can go and increase the size of your brush and just go and create this lingon in that way. With the eraser, you can use all the options that we are using with our brush. You can hold your line at the end. You can go to the 18 mode and adjust the curvature from here. Spend some time here, create a nice shape for these elements, and when you are done, tap on the screen to accept the changes. And now when we have the result like that, let's go and add a bit more interest to this part. We will be going to our layers. We will tap on this layer with these purplish elements and we will choose Alpha look. Now you can see we have these shapes right here near our actual shapes that we have in the eyes, and that's exactly what we need. That will let us add the color only inside these shapes that we have right here. It works like clipping mask, but it is on the same. We did it, let's just go to our brush library, we will go to the airbrushing folder and we will select soft blend brush. As for the opacity of this brush, let's just go somewhere around 20% and when we did it, let's just go back to our color palette and let's select this light orange color. With a light orange color, we will go closer to the bottom. Firstly, adjust the size of your brush so it's not that huge and we will be going right here on the bottom and very, very softly. We will be adding additional color right here. So very softly, just add a touch of different color right here at the bottom of the ice. Smudge it very nicely so you don't have a blotchy effect. And when you have the result like that, let's just get back to our previous brush. I was our inking folder and it was our studio pen brush, and when we have the result like that, let's also go to our layers. Let's create one more layer on top, tap on this lay, select clipping mask, go to our color palettes and select the white color. With the white color, we will be just going to some of the areas right here and we will be adding little highlights there. Randomly just go to some of the places and create a few highlights like that. Try not to overdo it, add a few of these little sparkles and when you have something going in that way, when you are satisfied with everything here, let's just go and continue adding additional elements to our fist. Going back to our lays, creating one more layer on top, and we will be just grabbing this layer and dragging it underneath our lays with the eyes and we will attach this layer to our fest selecting clipping mask when we are at this layer. When we did it, let's just go to our color palette, firstly, let's just go and create these additional elements that we have for our nose and for our mouth. Let's select dark blue lines color, and we will go and create these elements. For the nose, let's just go and create just a little dot right here, not too big and not too small, just a little black dot like that. When you have it, let's just go underneath and let's create the shape for our mouth. If you want to experiment and create a different shape rather than you have it onto your layer with the sketch, you are welcome to go and do that. You can try out different shapes for your mouth when you are satisfied with it. If you see that maybe you want to adjust it even more with your brush or with your eraser, we can just go and do that. For example, we can go to the tips that we have right here and make them a little bit thinner. Now when we have the result like that, let's just get back to our layers. Let's tap on this lay and let's select drawing assist. Well admitted it, we will go back to our color palettes and we will select the color with the name cheeks. For the cheeks, we will be going underneath the ice and we will be adding little shapes here. Let's just go very boldly with our brush and we will start creating the shape of the ellipse. We will hold it in the end and we will go to our editing mode. Let's just go and zoom out our canvas and we will see how it looks as we've created it in that way. If you want, you can just go and adjust the placements, the roundness, everything that you want to adjust here, make them alt bit smaller, create them in a way that you prefer. Just go strictly underneath the eye and try not to go to outside the shape of the eye if you want to create them in a very big way. When we have the result like that, let's just tap on the screen and let's just go and dragon drop the color inside the shapes. We can see that we went outside the shape of the face and we are it our shape with the ear. So very accurately just go in there and erasing the part that we don't need. Now when we hand the results like that either with the same color or with a slightly brighter color, so for example, highlights hair color. We will be just going to these little areas that we have right here over the top, our leads, and we will be just going there and creating these little lines. If you don't like this color, you are welcome to go and select another color, for example, lines purple or any other color. Let's just go and try it out one more time. If we like how it looks, we will also going to our lines right here on our ears and we'll be recreating them here too. So let's first go to this line that we have right here that we've created for our inner part of the ear, and let's just go and actually adjust it a little bit. We won't be going in a shape like that. So firstly creating the little bump that we've created before. When we have it in that way, we will go again up and creating this question mark that is a little bit reversed. When we have the results like that, let's just go and add a few more elements. Firstly, we will also need to go and recreate the shapes that we have right here onto our eyebrows and we will add them with the same color that we have right here for our little eyelashes. Let's just pin this color as we already have it onto our screen. We just need to hold one of our fingers on the area where we have this color. You can see we invoke this eye drop a tool. If we move this tool, our color on the top is changing, so we will just need to go to this blackish color and when we have the color on the top, we'll just lift up our finger and you will see that we've changed the color right here over the top. So let's just go and recreate the shapes that we have for our little eyebrows. If you want to create a different shape, you are welcome to go and do that. Just remember that it will be hidden behind the little shade that we have for our fringe right here, so don't pay too much attention to that. Now let's just go to these areas that we have for our additional elements. So it is our earrings. Let's start by going to our color palettes and we will select the color with the purple through here. With this color, we will just go and recreate the outside shape, creating a shape that is perfectly round circle, just holding our line, holding one of our fingers, adjusting the shape, the size of it. If we want to go and adjust it through our edging mode, maybe we want to find a different placement for it, go in there, adjusting it when we are done tapping on the screen, and then let's just go and add a different color right here inside the. So just go and select either purple two hair or purple for hair. If you want to go a little bit darker, let's just go and drag it inside this sheep. If you see that maybe it's not too much, if you want to go a little bit darker, you're welcome to select another darker color and edit right here in the middle. Also, let's just go to our list and create one more layer on top. Again, we will tap on it. We will select our clipping mask. We will go and select our drone assist and we will drag this lay underneath our layer with these additional elements that we've addited right now. When we have it, we will go to our color palettes and we will select the shadows color right here with the shadows color, we will go inside the ear and we will add a bit of a shadow here to add more interest to our picture. Let's just go and continue creating our ear just by going and creating a few of the lines like that. You can experiment with the shape. All that we need to do is to close it and then drag and drop the color inside. Take a look at it from the distance. If you need to adjust some parts, you are welcome to go and do that. If you have some miscolord places because your lines are a bit too thin, you are welcome to go and adjust them manually. If you want to work more on the shape, if you took a look and you don't like some areas, you are welcome to go and adjust them to your liking. Now, when we have the result like that, let's just get back to our layers and let's start working on here. 5. Base Colors: Hair & Body: Just go above all the layers that we have right now. So our top layer is our layer with the eyes right here with our little eye lashes. So let's just go and create one more layer on top, and let's just tap on this layer and let's select adron assist. Let's start working on the fringe first. So we will be just going there to our color palettes and we will start with the color either purple one hair or purple two hair. It doesn't matter, actually. So let's select one of these colors. Let's just go to our brush library, studio pan brush, technical pan Brush, if you want to go with the finer lines. Probably, let's just go with technical Pan Brush, and we will be going and starting to recreate the shapes that we have here. Again, remember that we don't actually need to repeat everything with 100% of similarity. If you want to go and maybe create a more interesting shape on the bottom, just go and create it. You can just go with some peculiar shapes with some triangular shapes. All that we need to remember is that we need to create the overlook that we have right here as it is on our sketche and on the bottom, we will just need to go with more flatter lines and our shape, the initial shape should be closed. Let's just spend some time here and adjust these lines. Let's create them and let's close them. If you want to go and maybe add some additional lines that are not seen onto your sketche, again, you are welcome to go and do that. If you see that maybe you want to make these gaps that you have right here onto your schage a little bit smaller, again, you are welcome to go and adjust them to your liking. Just remember that we can use all the options that we used before. So if you want to go and hold your line, you are welcome to go and code it and adjust it through your editing mode. Continue working with the bottom and creating these peculiar shapes there. Try to create nice outlines, make sure that they are closed. When you are mostly ready with the bottom, just move on to the sides and create the lines here. If you need to adjust them, you know what you need to do, just go and adjust them with your editing mode and just connect it nicely with the shapes that you have on the bottom. Now when you are done with the bottom part, let's just go to the top and let's continue creating shape here. Don't forget that we will need to have a little gap right here so we will have some kind of the volume effect for our fringe. Let's just go and create a nice and smooth line over the top and when we have the result like that, when we are sure that our lines are closed, let's just go and try to drag and drop the color inside. Let's just go and do that. And if you have the result like that, for example, or if you have the opposite from it, if you have some gaps into your lines between the color that you are dragging on to this area and between the lines that you've created, don't let your Apple pencil, just hold it and you can see that right here on the top, we have the option threshold. We can just go and adjust it, try to make it as maximum value as possible until you are not going beyond this threshold and when it's not leaking outside the sheep. So when we have closed the shape, when we dreg the color inside, let's just go and manually make sure that all of the areas are recolored. So we just need to pay attention to these little elements that are triangular. Probably you will have some gaps there, and also we can just go and maybe refine some lines and create a nicer outlines on the bottom. Now let's just spend some time here and adjust the shapes on the bottom if we need to adjust them. You also can go to your list and hide your la with this sketch to see more clearly what you are doing right here and to see whether you need to refine some lines or not. For now, let's just keep it as it is. Now let's just get back our layer with our sketch and let's just go and continue creating some of the elements. Now, to add our layer with our here and our bonds, let's just go to the bottom part. We'll go to this layer where we have our little scheme, and from here, we will create one more layer. Now, for this part, let's first go to our color palette and select this purple five color. Purple five here color, and we will be going again to our layer. We will tap on it and we will select our drone assist one more time. Again, going back to our brush library, select the brush of your preference. For example, let's go with our studio pen brush, and now let's just work onto this back shape of a here. Let's just go and repeat the overall shape without paying too much attention to these details that we've ddted at the last stage. Ta are layer with the skate. So we are just creating the basic shape right here. Let's just go and create it very evenly on both sides and we are paying more attention to the outside shapes rather than the inside shapes. Try to make your shapes rounded. If you feel that you need to go and switch your brush and have less control over the line that you have right here, welcome to go and adjust your brush by going to the brush library and selecting the technical pen brush. Let's just go and create these elements and we will close the shape right here in the middle just by going and creating a line like that. And also we'll need to do the same on the top, just go on there, creating our line and when we are ready just dragging and dropping the color inside. Now, let's just take a look at it and decide whether we want to adjust some parts or not. We can just grab our eraser. We can just grab our brush and work onto the oral sheep. For example, let's just lift up this shape over the side, so it is not looking too down. And again, if you want to go and hide your layer with the sage and work more precisely on the overall shape right here, you are welcome to go and do that. For example, let's just go and maybe create a bigger gap right here between our fringe and our hair that we have on the back. Again, if you want to switch between your brushes to create some elements, you are welcome to go and do that. Let's just spend some time here and create a better shape for a hair. If you want to go and maybe try your liquefied tool to adjust the overall shape and overall looking that you have right here for your hair, you are welcome to go and do that. Just try not to overdo it and try to go precisely to the areas that you would like to adjust and adjust only them because every time you are tweaking something here, you are worsening the quality of your lines. Probably if you are doing it with your liquefied tool, you will just need to go alone these lines that you have outside and refine them one more time. So grab your brush and go along these edges and along these little lines that you've adjusted, go above them and create new outlines there to create crisp lines. For now, let's just keep it at something like that, and then we'll get back our layer with our sketch. If you see that maybe you still want to adjust some parts, let's just go and firstly work onto the bands and create our basic elements and then we will spend some time here and adjust some parts if we need to adjust them. So for now, let's just keep it as it is right now and create one more layer on top of this layer with the back here, and we will just go to our color palette and select the different color, the lighter color for the bands. So for example, let's just go with this purple four color. When we have it, let's just make sure that our layer is assisted. If it's not just turn on assisted drawing, and let's just go and create the shapes that we have right here for our bands. So just repeating what we have on the A with the sketch or adjusting it a little bit, closing the shape, dragging and dropping the color inside. Now, let's one more time, take a look at fin from the distance and also without Ayer with the sketch and deciding whether we need to adjust some parts or not. Let's just spend some time here and again, make sure that we like the result. If you want to adjust it in any way possible, you are welcome to go again to the liquefied tool, to your eraser, to your brush, adjust it to your liking. Try to make these elements pretty rounded overall. Now when we hand results like that, let's just go away from our adjustments. Let's just take a look at our lines, whether we need to go and refine them. If you need to do that, just go and do that. If you want to manually go and adjust some as, again, you are welcome to go and do that. Now when we have the results like that, let's just get back to our list. Let's find our layer with this cage and see what else we need to add here. We just need to go underneath our layer with our here or a little bit above it. Let's just go above this layer that we have for our bands. Let's create one more layer here, again, tap on it, select our drawing assist and then let's just go to our color palettes and select this dark blue lines color. Let's just go and recreate the sheet that we have for our little sweater right here. So just creating our lines, making sure that we are working on both sides evenly. So let's just go and make sure that is assisted and just creating our shape right here. Actually, we just need to drag this layer above our layer with the face. So let's just hold it and let's just drag it above right underneath our layer with the eyes. In this layer automatically clipped to your layer with the face, you can just tap on it and unclip it just by selecting the clipping mask from the list. And let's just go and continue creating the sweater. So just go in there, adding our additional elements, and just creating the sweater, repeating the lines that we have on our sketch. Create a nice shape on the bottom, make a nice connection on the bottom right here, try to make it rounded as possible. Again, if you need to switch the brush to technical pen, you are welcome to go and do that. If you want to experiment and maybe try out different things, then you have Ota your layer with the sketch, you are welcome to go and do that, too. When you are done with the outline, just drag and drop the color inside. And one more time, let's just go and take a look at everything from the distance and without our lines with this sketch. We can see that we have a little problem right here. So what we need to do is to cut these little pieces, and we can do it very accurately just by going to our layer where we have our skin, tapping on it, and select select from the last. Now, when we did it, let's just go to our layers. Let's find Ayer with the sweater. Let's select our brush or our eraser if we need to. And we will be just going over these little parts that we need to erase and we will very accurately just go and erase them. If we need to work more on this sheet that we have right here on the bottom, let's just go and accurately work on it. Let's just take a look at it from the distance and when we are done with it, let's just deselect everything by hitting our ribbon icon. Now when we have the results like that, let's just go and start adding additional elements. 6. Additional Elements: Let's begin this part firstly by going to our layers, and we will start adding these additional lements for the here. Let's just go from the bottom. We will select this layer. We will select the same color that we have right here, so just picking it from our canvas by holding one of our fingers and let's just go and unhide our layer with our sketch. So let's just go back to this layer, Let's just select a brush, either technical pen or studio pen brush, and let's just go and turn off assisted drawing from this layer. So typing on the layer and selecting drawing assist. Now, we will go and try to recreate or create other elements that we have right here onto our layer with the skate. To add a bit of interest here. Let's just go and create some strengths. Let's adjust the size of brush and let's just go and start creating some peculiar shapes going on the sites. You can just go with the smaller ships, with the bigger ships, with more rounded ships or on the country with more flat and maybe even finer lengths. You can just go and create some peculiar shapes right here. You can go and maybe add some little ends of the here right here by creating some peculiar triangular shapes. It's all up to you and it's all up to your fantasy, your creativity. Just create these peculiar elements that will add a bit of interest to the picture. Let's just do it on both sides and our main goal right now is not to overdo everything. Let's just go and create just a few of these elements. So for example, go into the opposite side and we can create something similar here. You can just dragon drop the color inside, make sure that all of these little elements are recolored. If you want to go and create some other strengths right here over this area, or if you want and create some peculiar cuts right here inside the here, you are welcome to go and do that, too. So when we are done with this here, let's just go to our next layer. Let's just work with our little band here, so we will do the same thing. We will just tap on the layer, we will turn off our assisted drawing. We will go and pick the same color that we have right here and we will go and add a few more of these strengths. For example, let's just go right here and create a peculiar shape going from this bun. So as if it is some kind of a strength of the here right here, going and creating a few more additional elements just to add more interest. Doing the same on both sites. Also, if you want to go and maybe work on the overall shape of the little band that you have right here and create something different here that is not on the opposite side, you are welcome to go and do that too. That will add more interest to the picture too. Just create a few of these little elements, and when you are done, let's just go and continue adding these peculiar details to some other places. So when we have the results like that, let's also go to our layer with the fringe and maybe work onto the symmetrical elements here too. We can just tap on this layer, select it, select drone assist, select the same color that we have right here. And actually, let's first go to our eraser, and let's just go and maybe make some cuts right here. If you want, you can go and turn off your layer with the sketch and just go and create some peculiar cuts right here into your sheet. You can work with the brush, you can work with the eraser, create nice outlines right here, nice shapes, and create something peculiar. If you want to go to the actual strands that you already have onto your sketch or onto your illustration as it is right now and maybe just go and adjust some of them on the side, you are welcome to go and do that, too. Just work onto the niceness of these lines and try to make a bitter, try to add a bit of the interest to the picture. Now when we have the result like that, when you are satisfied with the fringe, let's just go again and unhide earlier with the sketch, and let's just go and add these additional elements that we have right here. Let's first go to our color palettes and let's select this highlight hair color, and we will go and recreate this ring that we have right here. Let's adjust the size of our brush a little bit so we will have a nice outline right here. Let's just create it in the same way as we have it onto our sketch. If we need to go and adjust the size of it or the overlook of it, let's just go and do that. Let's just make it a little bit bigger and work on the overall direction of this element and create something going in that way. When you have the shape like that, let's accept the changes. Let's adjust the size of our brush just a little bit and go inside the shape and recreate the similar shape right here. Go to the editing mode and adjust it. Try to make it very nice. Try to go to the sides and try to add more space right here on the sides. When you are done, just tap on the screen. Make sure that your line is closed. If you have some little bumps or little elements that you need to adjust, let's just go and refine the lines that we have right here for our ring right here. Try to make it even everywhere, and when you are done, let's go and switch the color. We will go and select the light orange color and we will drag it inside this sheep. Now, to go and erase this part very accurately, firstly, let's just go and hide our layer with the sketch and take a look at everything from the distance and decide whether we want to adjust this part or not. If we want to adjust it, we will go to our Aoki uniform method. If you want to rotate it, go to the green notes, hold your Apple pencil there and make a rotational movement. Take a look at it one more time, decide whether you want to move it maybe or adjust it in any way. When you are satisfied with everything, just tap on the arrow key and then let's just go and erase the spike that we have on the top of this little ring. So what we need to do is to go back to our layers and we will go and find this layer with the bumps. Let's just tap on it. Let's select our select from the list, and then we'll get back to this layer that we have right here for this ring. We'll grab our eraser and we will erase this part very, very accurately. Make sure that you're at the right layer and erasing this little part and not your bonds. So just go there and work with your eraser. When you are done, let's just tap on our ribbon icon to deselect everything, and one more time, let's just get back to our list. Let's anhyde our layer with our skege let's just create one more layer on top. Let's just go and select the different colors. So for example, let's go with this light blue green color, and we will go and recreate this little planet right here. So just go in there and recreating in the same way as before, just by creating the shape, holding it, holding our apple pencil, holding one of our fingers, adjusting it if we need to either manually or by dragging and dropping the color, adding the color inside. If you have some peculiar shapes that don't need to be here, you are welcome to go and erase them or try out to create the shape one more time. When we are done with this planet, let's just go right here and create another one. Going back to our color palette and let's select this blue color and we will go and recreate it as we have it onto our layer with the sketch, or if you want to adjust it in any way, let's just go and adjust it. Let's just create this circle. If we need to move it, we will go to our editing mode. We will take a look at it from the distance and decide where we want to place it. Adjust it, find the placement for this element. When you are done, tap on the screen and dragon drop the color inside. Now, when we hand the results like that, we also will need to go right here and at the little plant that we had here. But actually, we can't see it because we have the same color that we are using for this element right here onto our sketch. We can just go to our list. We can select layer with the sketch. We can go to the Magic 12 and we can select Hugh saturation and brightness. We can go and play around with our brightness, for example, that will make our lines a little bit more white, and that way, we can see them clearly, and we can go and adjust this little shape by edging it right here. So let's just get back to our list. Let's just get back to our previously where we have created this little planet. Let's just go to our color palettes and select the color with the name skin, and let's just go and create this shape right here. Same way as before, holding our Apple pencil, holding one of our fingers, dragon dropping the color inside. And let's go and create this additional element right here onto our ring. So firstly, let's just go and switch the color to highlights here, and then we will go back to our brush library and we will use this brush with the title phylacin. When we have it, we will just go and adjust the size of our brush, and with one brush line, we will just go and create this ring right here. Try it out a few times, try to find the size of this element that you like to see here. Create this ring, adjust it by going to the 18 mode if you need and then just switch the brush to the previous ones, going back to our inking folder and selecting our studio pen brush, selecting the same color that we have right here and just recoloring these little lines that we have right here at the back. To see more clearly, we can just hide earlier with the sketch and just go there and recolor this area. For now, we have the results like that. We are done with our basic colors. So let's move on to our next part where we are going to be adding additional elements. 7. Back Hair Coloring: Let's begin this part firstly by going to our layers, and we will start from the bottom and we will be adding additional elements to our hair. Let's go to this layer where we have our be part of the hair, and let's create one more layer on top. Let's tap on this layer, and let's select our clipping mask. Now, we will go to our color palettes and we will select this dark blue lines color. Then we will get back to our brush library and we can work either with our studio pen brush, technical pen Brush, or we can just go and select this marker roll brush from the inking folder and try to work with it. What we're going to be doing firstly, we'll be going to this bottom part and towards the sheep that we have for our head, and we'll be creating additional elements. Let's adjust the sides of a brush, and let's just go and start creating some shapes going in that way. You can close them and drag and drop the car inside in that way and then go to the opposite side and start creating similar shapes here too. You can vary these shapes that you are creating or you can just repeat what you have on the opposite side and create something similar here too. Take a look at everything from the distance, decide whether you want to adjust the shapes. So you can just go and refine the shapes and maybe create a more peculiarly looking shapes. If you want to grab your eraser and work with it and adjust the shape to your liking, basically what we need is something like that. Or if you want to experiment and maybe go to the liquefied two and adjust your shape from here, you are always welcome to go and do that. Now when we have this basic shape with this simple shape, we'll be going to our layers one more time, and we will go above our layer where we have our skin. So we'll go above all the layers that are attached. We will create one more layer here, we will tap on this layer, and we will choose our clipping mask. Now, let's just go to our brush library and let's just switch our brush to studio pen also we'll just get back to our list and we'll make sure that this new layer is assisted. We will be creating our elements on both sides. Let's just tap on it and let's select our drawing assist. We are using the same color that we picked before and we will go to these areas right near our ears and we'll be creating some additional elements here. So let's just go and adjust the size of our brush. And we'll be going there and creating little, little elements like that. So let's just go and start creating something. In that way, try to create these additional lines in a nice way and try to connect them nicely with the ears that you have right here. If you add something, you are welcome to go and grab your eraser and work on the overall sheep. So what we need to create is something like that. You can create some peculiar shapes, maybe you want to go with the curves instead of this very straight lines. Always take a look at everything from the distance, decide whether you like it, whether you want to adjust some parts, maybe make some parts a little bit thicker on the top, or maybe just go a little bit lower with this line that you are creating right now. So we just need to pay attention to this line that we have right here on the bottom, and this part that we are creating right now is kind of a continuation of our head. So spend some time here, create these additional elements, and when you are ready, let's just get back to our list and let's just continue working on our here. So let's just go and create one more lay a bond lay with these dark elements that we've created. So tapping on the plus icon, tapping on this new layer, and selecting our clipping mask, and then one more time, let's just get back to our color palettes and let's just start working with darker colors. So for the bees we have our purple five here color. Let's just go with purple four hair color. And we will go again and switch our brush to mark your roll if you like how it works. If you want to work with a different brush, you are welcome to go and do that. So now we are going to be creating some strength of hair, and we will try not to overdo it. We will be just go in there and when we are using this brush that we picked our Mckeo brush, it's all about the direction that you have your canvas on. So to create nicer lines or more peculiarly looking lines, you will just need to rotate your canvas in different directions. You will just need to roll your canvas a little bit to create a peculiar shape. Spend some time here and start creating some peculiar shapes, just the strength of the here, and we will do it on both sides. You can always take a look at everything from the distance and decide whether you like how it looks right now or if you want to adjust it. Let's just go to the sit right here and create another strength right here and we also will need to pay attention to the position of the elements. We are trying to make sure that our elements of the here are look in that way, we are not trying to create them just straightly, horizontally, straightly vertical. In that way, we just need to go with the flow of our natural shape that we've created as a base. Let's continue by going to the bottom and create a few more elements here too. Again, pay attention to the direction of the canvas and if you want to create these pointy lines, you just need to roll your canvas. Let's just go and create a few more elements on the bottom and create nice peculiar shapes there. Create more pointy and thicker looking lines at the bottom and refine them with your brush and with your erasa. You also can get back to your erasa and erase some parts that you don't like or if you want to refine some lines, just go and do that. If you don't like how this brush works, you're always welcome to go and switch it in your brush library and find the brush that works for you. Now when we have this little strand, let's just go and maybe create one more going up and we will somehow connect it with the shape that we have right here on the top. Try to create nice lines here, nice connections between the shapes. When you have the result that you like, let's just go and continue adding more of the strengths with this color. We also can go to this bottom part with the darker color that we use right here and maybe create something here too. Always take a look at everything from the distance and decide whether you like the result or not. If you don't like it, just go and try it out one more time, or try to refine it in a way that you would like to see. When you are done with the first site, let's just go to the opposite one and do the same thing here. Again, you can repeat what you did on your previous site or create something different here. For example, right here, let's just go with a few strands with this color. Again, we will go with our marker roll brush. Let's just go and maybe create bigger shapes here, more bolder shapes and create them something in that. If you want to go to the bottom and create some peculiar shapes here too, you are always welcome to go and try some things out here. Just experiment and don't worry if it's not happening from the first try. Adjust it if you need to erase it if you don't like how it looks. If you are seeing that you don't like some results on the opposite side when you're already on the other side, you can get back to this area and adjust the shape to your liking too. So take a look at everything from the distance, and when you are done with this color, let's just go again to our least and create one more lay on top. Let's again tap on it, let's clipping mask, and let's just go to our color palette, and one more time, we will go with a more bright color. Let's just go with purple three hair color. And again, with this color, we will go and create a few more strands. For example, let's just go over our left side and we will be creating some elements here. Let's just go to this little ban that we have right here and let's just make it a little bit brighter. Again, if we are using our roll brush, let's just roll our canvas and create these peculiar shapes with this brush. Connect the shapes nicely with the shapes that you already have onto your canvas and try to create a nice overall look of the here. You can try to create these lines a couple of times, maybe try out different directions, try out different shapes, different thickness of these lines, and don't be afraid to start over and try to create the lines that you would like to see here. Work with your brush and their it with the eraser and create peculiar shapes. Again, try not to overdo it and try not to overload it. Try to create just a few strengths with this color so it will look all balanced onto our overall shape of the hair. Let's just go to the bottom part maybe and create a few more strands right here. You can just go and create just a couple of lines right here and again, try not to overdid. Rate a canvas and create peculiar shapes or work with the eraser. When you are ready with the first side, move on to the next one and create a few strands with this color here too. If you want to go and maybe completely recolor these additional elements that we've added at the end of the last part, you are welcome to go and do that. Just go and experiment and add a few of these elements with this color. As always try to create a couple of lines with different thickness, maybe different directions. Your main goal right now is to create a couple of these lines, play around and add them to the blink spaces. And if you want to go and try to create some accents with this color on the opposite side, go and do that. Just try not to overdid. When you are done with this color one more time, let's just go to our lease, one more time, creating a new layer, clipping it, go to our color palette, and selecting the next brighter color. For example, purple to hair color, and with this color, mostly we're going to be going to the left side. Let's just go and create a few peculiar shapes here too. Also, with this brush, you can just create a few strands that will not go with the whole shape that you have for your back hair right here, but create some peculiar strands that will just flow right here on the top and create some things going in that. With this color, you can just go closer to the previous strengths that you had before and you can just go and thicken them up. You can just create some kind of a nice effect between these two colors as they are pretty similar to one another. So you can just go and create a thicker shapes on the bottom, you can go to the sides and you can create a nice effect with these two colors. Spend some time here and create a few more strengths, then the strengths that you have before up and create something in that way. If you want to go to the opposite side and create some elements here with this color, you are welcome to go and do that T. When you are done with this color one more time, go into our list, creating an lip, clipping mask, selecting the next color that we have right here, purple one color, or if you want, you can go and start adding the colors with this highlight hair color and the blue color. Let's just go with the highlight hair color, and we will go to our left side. And here we are going to be adding a few strengths with this color. Creating some accent with this color here. Let's just go and create some finer looking hair strengths right here. And again, we can just go and refine everything with our erasa if we need to. We are going to the left side and we are going closer to the edges of the whole mass on the hair that we have here. Let's just go and add three little strands with this color. And on the opposite side, we will go with the blue color. Firstly, let's just go and select it and we will go and create a couple of strengths with this color here too. You can vary the size of your brush and create bigger shapes or smaller shapes. It's all up to you. Just take a look at everything from the distance and decide whether you like the overall look of your illustration or if you want to adjust some parts. If you want to go to the opposite side and maybe try to add one or a couple of strengths with this blue color here, you are always welcome to go and try it out here too. Just create a couple of accent colors right here onto the opposite side. When we are overall done with this task, let's again, take a look at everything from the distance and decide whether we want to fix some parts or not. We can just go back to our list, find the needed layer that we want to adjust. Just go to this little markdown that we have right here onto the side, and by hiding and unhiding them, you will know what layer you are going to be fixing. You can just go one by one to these layers and adjust some parts if you want to adjust them. Now let's just spend some time here and we will adjust some of these little elements. You can just go and erase some parts, you can go and add some elements. It's all up to you. Just go and create a few more additional elements on our hair. As we want our hair to look all flowy, we will be going mostly to the bottom parts and we will be adding double strands, more thicker strands and strands that nicely going up and creating these thick curls and overall refining the lines and shapes so they look heavier at the bottom and overall looking more clean and defined. At some places, we can go and add some kind of the separation with the lighter or darker color to define some of the strands from one another and add some interest. When you are overall done with your hair, we are ready to move on to our layers and work onto our space bands on the top. Let's just select this layer, create one more layer on top, let's tap on it. Let's select our clipping mask, and we will start doing the same thing here. So let's just go to our color palette, and let's first go with this purple five hair color, and we'll start working with this band that we have right here onto our right. Let's again go and select either our studio pan brush or marker roll brush. So let's just go to this band and we will go and start working from the bottom. So let's just go and create some peculiar shape right here. We will go and maybe start separating this part that we have right here and then recoloring the rest of the area if we want to recolor it. You can just go and maybe add a bit of color over the top area right here. You can close up the shape and drag and drop the color to these areas that you want to recolor, or just manually go and recolor them with your brush. When you have the result like that, let's just go over the opposite side and let's create some peculiar shapes here too with this color. Again, you can just loop this whole shape around and drag and drop the color inside and then just go and maybe precisely work on some of the areas by adding some strands of hair. Take a look at everything right here, decide whether you maybe want to go and add a few more little lines with this color or if you want to go and work onto this little line that you have right here, maybe you don't want to go and erase this part over the top and add the color right here. It's up to you how you are going to be working onto the hair and how you are going to be adding these additional elements. When you are satisfied with everything here, let's again go to our layers. Let's create one more layer on top. Tap on this layer and select our clipping mask one more time. Then we will go to our color palettes and this color that we were using right here as a base was purple four hair color. Let's just go with a slightly lighter color with our purple three hair color, and let's just go and start making these additional strength of the color right here over the top of our bands. Let's just go and start creating some peculiar shapes, maybe just creating the loops right here, edging the color inside, just trying to create some shapes right here that will look like the hair. When you are done on one side, go to the opposite one and create some peculiar shapes here too. When you are done with this color, let's again get back to our list, create one more lay on top, tap on it, let clipping mask, go to our color palettes and select the next color. Purple two or purple one straightaway. Just go there and select the color and add a few more additional color patches right here with this color. When you have something like that, one more time, going back to our les, creating one more lead, tapping, selecting clipping mask, going to our color palettes, and let's just go with this highlights hair color. With this color, we will mostly go over our left side and we will add, again, a bit of accent to the top parts of our hair. So let's just go and create some strengths with color right here. Going over the top and creating some peculiar shape. So for example, creating something like that and manual recoloring the rest of the area. Always take a look at everything from the distance. If you see that you want to go and eras some part or adjain parts, you are welcome to go and do that. If you want to go to the opposite side and maybe add a bit of the accent with this color right here, you are welcome to go and do that, too. Again, try not to overdo this task. When we are done with this color, let's just go and start working onto our fringe. 8. Fringe Coloring: Let's just find our lay with the fringe, we'll create one more layer on top, tap on it, and select our clipping mask. Now, let's also go to our color palettes and let's make sure what color we were using. We were using our purple one hair color. Let's just go with purple two hair color, and we will go over one of the sides right here and we will make a differently colored thing here. Let's just go a little bit lower. Then we have our little fringe part over the top. So you can just go and make a little markdown right here. Then we will just go just the size of Abush. We will go and start creating additionally colored places right here with this color. Let's just go and create a line go in that way and then we'll go over the top and we will just go and create a peculiar shape like that. Work on the shape and refine the lines to create a nice shape and then let's add the color inside. So you can just loop this whole shape around, make sure that it doesn't have any gaps and then just drag and drop the color inside. Grab your eraser and work onto the overall shape in the middle. And if you see that you just need to go and maybe recolor some areas manually because they are not colored, you are again, welcome to go and do that too. Now when we hand the result like that, we also can go over the top and we can go and create the shape going up in that way. So when we have it, we will go and manually recolor it and we will just put this place right here in the shadow. And also, we will just go either with the same color or with a slightly darker color over the opposite side and we will create something similar here too. So firstly, we will just need to find the place where our potential shape of the fringe that we have on the side will go over the element, and we will just need to go and make a line going up in that way. So just making an elongation as we see right here on our right part and just doing the same thing right here over the then when we have this additional element, we will just go and create the similar line that we have right here and the rest of the area, we will just recolor with this color that we are using right now. So now when we have the results like that, we also can go and work onto these elements and add more color to them. So firstly, let's just go to our layers, and we will go to this layer that we have for our main shape and we'll create one more layer above it. It will automatically be clipped to this layer that we have on the bottom, and let's just go and add a bit more of the darker color right here onto the bottom of our fringe. Let's just get back to our brush library. We'll go to the airbrushing folder and we will select our soft blend brush. And now we will just go and select the darker color. So for example, we can start working with this purple two hair color, or we can just go a little bit darker and add this purple three hair color. We will go and adjust the size of AbrahG over the bottom and very, very slightly. We are going to be adding some gradient here. So let's just go and start adding this gradient mostly toward the right part because here we have some shadow. So let's just go and start creating this little shadow right here. Try to create it in a very slow way, try to create it in a very smooth way and try to avoid creating a very seen transition between the colors. When we have something like that, we can definitely say that we don't see these additional elements that we edit before. So we will just go to this layer where we have them and either we can go and recolor them with a different color, or we can just go to our matri q two hue saturation and brightness and play with the sliders. Let's just go to the brightness slider and we will go and make it just a little bit darker. If you want to go and play with the saturation, you are welcome to go and do that. If you want to go and play with the hue, you are welcome to go and do that too. If you want to repeat what you now see onto your screen, you can just copy these values that you see right here on the bottom. When we have the result that we like, let's just go away from our adjustments by tapping on our major p two. A let's just go to this top area and we will soften it a little bit. We will be just going to our layers. We will make sure that we are at this layer where we have these additional elements. We will go to our eraser and we will go again to our airbrushing folder and select our soft blend brush. The same brush that we are using for our brush right now very, very softly, we will go to this area on the top, and just with a few little touches like that, we will go and erase this little part right here. So just softening it up and creating the gradient with this color. If you want to go to some other areas and maybe try to create something similar, you are welcome to go and do that. When you are ready, don't forget to get back to your previous brush that you were using for your eraser. So select the brush and then let's just go again to our layers, and let's create one more layer on top. Again, we will tap on it. We will select our clipping mask, and we will go to our color palette and let's just go and select the darker color. For example, let's just go with purple five here, and then we will go to our brush library. We will go to our ink folder, and again, selecting either our studio pan brush or technical pan brush, and we will go and start adding some details to our fringe, so they will look a little bit differently than they are right now. Let's just go first to this area that we have right here over the top of our fringe and let's just step a bit from the site that we have right here. Actually, if you want to do it on both sides, let's just go back to our list, tap on this lay and select a drone assist, and we will go a little bit lower than the shadow that we've created. And we will create two lines going in that way. These lines will be elongation of this overall sheet, and we will be just creating this shape of the fringe with them. Just elongating the lines right here. If it's not happening from the first try, just go to this little cut that you have right here and create an imaginary line that will go toward the center and create something in that way. You can thicken this line or make it thinner. You can just create a different shape right here. If you want you can just go and create the shape like that. If it's not happening, just go and erase it a little bit. Just create something that will look nice. When we have the shape like that with the same color, let's just go and start adding additional elements to the edges that we have right here for our fringe. We'll be just going and creating some lines right here just by adding a bit of the color to them and adding a bit of volume to these elements. We will need to create thinner lines on the bottom, so we will have a natural look right here. Let's just go and start by creating a line goon in that way and then we'll go and continue going to these little cuts that we have right here to some of them, and we will be just going there and adding a bit of the color to these little cuts. So just go along them and just add the lines in accordance with the direction of this element, and you also can go to both of the sides of these little cuts and create the lines going in that way. Just try to make the tips very tippy right here at the sides and then just go along all of these little cuts that you have right here or mostly to all of them, and just create these additional elements right here. We also need to remember that some of the cuts are not symmetrical on both sides, so we will just need to firstly go along these little cuts that are symmetrical and then if we want to add more additional color to some other elements that are not symmetrical, we will just need to go turn off our symmetrical drawing our drawing assist from the list on our layers and just go and work with these additional elements if we need to work on. Now let's just go and continue adding these additional elements, additional shadows, additional more defining lines for these fringe elements, and let's just go and add just a few of them. When you are ready, let's just go and turn off our assisted drawing from this list. Tapping, selecting our drawn assist from the list, and let's just go to these not symmetrical elements, and let's just go and add a bit of the color right here to them. Again, always take a look at these elements from the distance, and you will probably see where you need to add more of the details or if you need to go and maybe erase some parts that you don't like from the distance. We also can go to these little lines that we've edited right here and we can define them more clearly with this color. So just go along these lines and create these peculiar shapes that peculiar outlines with this color that you are using right now. Do it on both sides if you want to. And if we take a look at everything from the distance, we will notice that some of the lines are a little bit off because they are too dark. So what we need to do is to go firstly to our brush library. We will go again to our airbrush and folder, soft blend brush, we will go to our lays and we will tap on this layer where we've ddted these additional elements and we will choose our Alpha look. Now when we did it, let's just go to our color palette and select the lighter color. For example, if we right now are using purple five hair color or dark purple eye color, let's just go with purple free hair color, and let's just go very softly along some of the lines, and we will go and recolor them by adding a bit of gradient to these lines. Again, try not to overdo it, add a bit of color and soften up some of the lines. Now when we have the result that we like, let's just go again to our layers and we will create one more layer on top. Let's tap on this layer. Let's select our clipping mask. Let's just get back to our Brush Library, and we will go again to our inking folder and select our technical pen brush. With the technical pen brush, we will go to our color palettes and we will select highlights hair color. With this color, we will go to our fringe over our left side and we will start adding the highlights here. Let's just go to this line that we've created on this side and from this line, we will be just going toward the side on the left, and we'll be creating a big highlight going along the whole shape that we have right here for our fringe. Let's very accurately make it right here where we have differently colored elements. Then when we have this first outline, let's just go from it a little bit down and we will create a big shape like that. Just go into this first big cut with a nicely shaped element like that. If it's not happening from the first try try out one more time. When you have the results like that, let's just go a little bit lower this time and we will continue going with the peculiar shapes to create our little highlight here. Let's just go with the wavy line like that, and then we will go to the bottom and we will need to connect it nicely with the shape that we have on the top. Let's just go to this edge that we have right here. We will thicken up the line and we will go up with another curve like that. Try to make the curve similar to one another, parallel to one another, when we have the shape like that, we need to create a line going up in that we connect it nicely and then go to the bottom and try to create a similar curve right here over the bottom. Going a little bit higher this time and go and connecting the shape right here either with the straight line or just repeating the line that we have right here for our little cut. Making sure that our little element right here is very, very nice and very, very soft and very, very smooth and connected. And then we can just go and drag and drop the color to this area. If you have some miscolred places, just go and recolor them manually, and then let's continue and recolor this little part that we've created on the more right part. Also, let's just go to this little part that we have on the top and we will thin it up. So just create the shape going in that way. We are paying more attention to the site with this little element that we've created. And when we have this little shape, let's just go and continue going to the bottom and creating the pecul shape right here too. Just create something like that, create a very picky end right here, creating a peak right here and then just creating the shape right here at the end, closing up our shape and then dragging and dropping the color inside this area and refining some lines if we need to. Trying to connect our shapes nicely, we are going a little bit lower than this first shape, but not too low. If you need to go and adjust it, you are welcome to go and do that. Take a look at everything from the distance, decide whether you want to adjust it or not. For now, let's just keep it as it is right now and we will go to the opposite side and we will continue creating this highlight. We are going to this shape that we have right here and again, creating the similar shape on this side. Go right here and creating the first element going up in that way, trying to create something similar to what we have right here on this side. So if you want to try it out one more time, you are welcome to go and do that. And when you have this first element, let's just go create the lane in that way. And then we will continue by going inwards and creating a line goon like that and continue creating our highlight here. So just create the outline like that, close the shape, make sure it is closed, dragon drop the color, and refine the lines by using your brush and your eraser. Now, if you want to go and maybe soften up some corners, you are welcome to go and do that. If you want to go alone some of these elements and adjust them in any way with your brush and with your eraser, spend your time here and adjust it to your liking. If you want to go and maybe try to adjust the shapes with your liquefied tool, you are again welcome to go and do that. Just create something nice that you would like to see here. When you're done, adjust it with your liquefied tool. Get back to your canvas, and let's continue by going and working on some little details that we have right here. 9. Final Touches: Let's just go to our layers and let's just go to our layer with our planet right here. And firstly, let's just go and probably make this planet that we have right here on our right part a little bit smaller. So let's just go to our trim and icon. We will select free hand method and we will loom the shape around, and until it all selected and only this area is selected, we will go to our Ark uniform method, and we will go to one of the corners and just make this shape a little bit smaller by dragging the corner. And if we want to just go and move it, we will just go and do that. So find the placement, take a look at everything from the distance if you need to, and when you are done, just select the first option that you used. It was our ribbon icon. Find if it works for you. If you want to adjust some parts, you are welcome to go and work on them more precisely if you want to. And when you are satisfied with everything here, let's just go and add some additional elements here to these planets to add more interest to the picture. Let's just get back to our layers, and let's just go and create one more layer on top. Let's tap on this layer. Let's select our clipping mask, and then we will go to our color palette, and we will first select the color of the skin right here. Let's just go and select our studio pan brush. We will go to this planet that we have right here over the top part, and we'll go to the bottom part and we will create some pattern. Let's just go and create something going in that way. And if you see that maybe this color is too much, we are welcome to get back to our adjustments, saturation brightness and play a bit with this color. So let's just go and make it a little bit more bright. So something about 55 57% will work best. If you want to go and adjust the color, you are welcome to go and do that. Let's just make it a little bit more tan color. And when you have something going in that way, let's just go away from our adjustments. Let's pick this color that we've created on the bottom, and let's just go and create another little line like that. When we have something like that, let's also get back to our list, Let's tap on this layer. Let's select our Alpha log and let's just go and select the cheeks color. With the cheeks color, let's just go and add some peculiar shapes on the sides and maybe add some pattern with this color. If you want to experiment and maybe create some differently shaped elements, maybe try out different colors, maybe this yellow color right here, you are welcome to go and do that and create the patterns that you would like to see here. When you are done with this first planet, let's just go again to our list. Let's go to this layer where we have these additional elements and we will turn off our Alpha lo and then we'll go to this planet right here over the right part and we will go and add some peculiar shapes here. Firstly, let's just go and select the color with magenta eyes and we will go over the top part and we will just go there and add this additional color. If you think that maybe it's too dark, you are welcome to undo it and go and find a different color, for example, the shadows color or highlights hair color, and go over the top area and add some color right here over the top part. Now when we have something going in that way, let's just go to our color palettes and let's again select our skin color or some other color if you want to. And we will just go and create some random pattern here. If you want, you can get back to your brush library, and you can try out to use this thylacine brush that we used before. You can just go select it and create some pattern with this brush or just use a regular brush and create some peculiar pattern here with it. Let's just go and create something that we would like to see here. So peculiar little shapes right here, maybe some pattern like that, just go and be creative and create some peculiar shapes over this little area. If you want to try out something new, you are welcome to go to the layers panel, create one more layer on top, tap on it, select again, our clipping mask, create some pattern, just random pattern like that, and then let's just go to our magic 121 more time, we'll go to the liquefy this time we will select the option twirl left or twirl right. Doesn't matter which one we will just go to these peculiar shapes that we've created right here. We will tap on some of the areas and we will just create a peculiar pattern with two. Spend some time here, create something that you would like to see here. If it's not happening from the first try, you can try it out one more time, or you can just try out different options here. If you want to use the push option, just go and use it. Just create something that you would like to see here. When you have the result that you like, just tap on the adjustments and let's just go and continue adding more details. So what we need to go and do next is to add some pattern right here on our little sweater. Let's just go and find the layer with the sweater, go into our layers, finding the layer, go into our layer with the sweater, creating one more layer on top, tapping it, and selecting a clipping mask. When we have it, if you downloaded everything from the Project and resource Sap, you will probably have the brush that we are going to be using right now. So let's just go and find it. When you found this scattered confetti brush, let's just go to our color palettes and let's select some lighter colors. For example, we can go with our highlights hair color or light orange color. Just try out one of them, and let's just go and start eating the peculiar shapes right here on the sweater. We can just go and adjust the size of our brush, and we will go there and you can see if we just go and start putting some little dots right here. The sweater, we will be creating some confetti elements of different colors here. You can just go and adjust the size of your brush, just go there and add a few of these dots, a few of the lines, and add some peculiar pattern here on the sweater. Just go and adjust the size of your brush to create smaller elements or bigger elements. And when you have the results like that, take a look at it from the distance and decide whether these elements are too much or too bright or something like that. Just go and if it's too much, we can grab our brush our eraser and we can just go and erase some of these little elements to create less clutter here. You can just go and randomly erase some parts, for example, like that or spend more time and adjust them to your liking. And if it's too bright, you are welcome to go to your layers, tap on the icon right here and adjust the opacity of this layer. So find the apasite that works for you and when you are done, let's also go to our here and let's add something similar here too. Firstly, let's just go and find our layer with the hair that we have as our dark color. Let's just go above this leer and create one more layer above all the layers that we have clipped to our back here. Let's tap on it. Let's select our clipping mask using the same color or different color, getting back to our brush, get a confetti, and going to some areas on our here and adding this additional color. Mostly, we are going to these areas that we have right here as the dark color and adding these additional elements here. When we are done with it, we can go to some other areas and add a bit of the scattered confetti brush little strokes with it over the top parts that we have right here on our here. Just a bit of them to not overdo everything. So go on there, adding a few of these elements. If we see that some colors are not matching, we are welcome to go and erase some of them with our eraser. Just go on there, making sure that we like everything that we do here. When we are done with it, let's just go over the top parts and do the same thing here. Let's just go to our layers panel. Let's go either above all the layers that we have here or about the layer with our fringe. For example, let's just go there, create one more layer, and we will just go to this layer with the same brush and with the same size of the brush, and we will go to our little areas right here. We will add a few dots. If the color is not matching, we can undo it. We can try it out one more time, or we can just go erase some parts and just try it out one more time if we need to. Let's just go to our little space bonds right here, too, and let's just add a bit of this scattered brush right here too. If you need to erase some parts, go and do that. And when you're overall satisfied with everything here, let's go and add a bit of interest to our fees. Firstly, let's just get back to our brush library. We will go again to our inking folder. We will select our studio pan brush. We will go back to our list and find our fees ar. Let's just go above all the layers that we have right here and create one more layer here. We will clip it and we will go to our color palette. Firstly, let's just go and select our color with the title shadows. With this color, we will go very, very accurately to our neck right here, and we will go and add the shadow here. Create the line that will elongate the shade that we have right here for our chin. Very accurately going and refining this line and adding the shadow to the neck. Take a look at it from the distance and when you're satisfied, let's go back to our color palettes and let's select the color with the title cheeks and then we'll go and increase the size of our brush, and we will go over the top part where we have our fringe and very boldly we will just go and add some color here. We can see that we've recolored our little browse here. We will just need to firstly go and make sure that we've recolored all of these areas that we want to recolor for our shadow then we will just get back to our layers and we will hold this le and drag it underneath our layer that we have for our little eyebrows right here. Now let's just make sure that everything is on its place. And when we have the result like that, let's just go to our eyes and add more interest to them too. Let's just go and find our layer with this white element, and let's just go and create one more layer on top. Let's tap on this layer, and let's select our clipping mask, and then we will go to this icon, and we will select multiply blending mode. For the opacity, let's go with something around 50%, and then we will go back to our color palettes and we will select this blue color. With this blue color, we will go and firstly, let's just get back to our layers and make sure that this layer is assisted, so we are doing it on both sides even when we did it, let's just go to this top area where we have our white part and we will be just going there and adding this blue shadow over the top. We can just go and create this blue shadow going to the bottom and just creating this little shape going a little bit inwards with our little shape right here. When we have something like that, take a look at it from the distance, decide whether you like the curve that you've created for the shadow or not. If you're satisfied with it, let's just get back to our color palette and let's select this highlights hair color. We'll go over the top area and we will add a bit of a pinkish color right here over the top. So let's just go more toward the right part and add it here and let's just take a look at everything from the distance. When we have something going in that way, let's go to our adjustments, hue saturation and brightness, and we will add a bit of saturation to these elements. You can try it out on your own and find the amount that works for you, zoom it in, zoom it out, take a look at it from the distance. If you want to go and maybe play with the brightness here to make it less dark, you are welcome to go and do that. So just find what works for you and the way that the eyes are working for you. If you want to play around with the hue, you are again welcome to go and do that. Just find what works for you. When you are satisfied, either make sure that you have the same values that we have right here at your screen or just find what works for you. When we are done, let's just go and go away from our adjustments and let's just go and continue adding a few more additional elements. We will be going over our layers, and we will go over all the layers that we have right here, maybe not over the layer where we have our sketch. So our layer with this additional pattern right here onto our planet, let's just go and create one more layer on top. And then we will go to some of the areas outside the shapes and inside the sheps, and we will be eating some sparkles here. So let just go and firstly, we will create one sparkle, so we will be copying it and we will be putting it over all of the areas where we want to put it. Let's just go select any color that you prefer, and we will go to some blink area. We will adjust the size of our brush, and we will go and create a sparkle like that. So very pointy, going to the top with a very pointy line like that, going to the side and creating something in that. Just create very thin lines right here onto this side, and when you have the result like that, refine the lines if you need to and drag and drop the color inside. If you have some miscolord areas, just go and erase them. Try to adjust the corners that you have right here, try to make them very, very pointy and when you have the shape like that, let's just go and make a copy of it. We will be adjusting the size of the element and we'll be going and putting some of them to some of the areas. Firstly, let me show you how we are going to be making a copy. We already know how to do that. We are going to our layer are swiping the layer with our sparkle from right to left and we are choosing duplicate. Now we have two elements on one place, so we will be going to our Air key. We will be using uniform method or free form method if you want to change the shape of this element, and we'll be just dragging these elements to other places on our canvas inside and outside the shapes. And let's just go and create one more copy right here, just swiping our layer from right to left, choosing duplicate, and go and positioning these little sparkles on some areas. So let's just spend some time here and add these additional sparkles here. So now when we've created all of these little sparkles, let's just go to the layers, and we will make sure that every sparkle that we have here is merged on one layer. Let's just go put one finger on the top one, put one finger on the bottom, make a pinch movement, and if we need to do it a couple of times, we'll just go and do that. Let just make sure that everything is on one layer, and then let just tap on this layer. Let's select our Alpha and let's just go and recolor some of these little sparkles. Just go into our brush library, selecting some brush that we were using before studio pan or any other brush, and let's just either start to pick the colors that we have onto our layers right here, so just holding our finger onto some of the Ras and just go along these little shades that we have here and recoloring them. If you want to go and maybe add a few dots just with a brush to add more sparkles, you are welcome to go and do that, create a new layer for it and just go to some of the places and add a few more differently shaped sparkles. Also, we will just need to go over our little nose right here and put a big dot over highlight right here too. Let's just try it out a few times and let's just go and create this big highlight right here. After that, get back to the hair and continue edging the sparkles there. And at the very end, let's just take a look at our illustration one more time and maybe decide whether we want to adjust some parts or not. For example, we can go and work more onto these little highlights on the here. Let's just go to our list, find this layer, and let's just go to our liquefied tool. Let's just go and push them a little bit toward the center, so we will be creating the shapes that will go as highlights onto these front elements rather than on the whole head. Let's just spend some time here and create something in that way. If it's easier for you to work not with the liquefied tool, but with the regular brush, you are welcome to go and do that and create something in that way. Of course, if you like the result, how it is right now, you are welcome to keep it as it is. Now take a look at everything, decide whether you want to adjust some parts or notes. When you are mostly done, let's just take a look at our illustration without this line that we have right here in the center. To do that, we will just need to go to Ranch icon, Canvas and Togo drawing guide one more time. So take a look at everything, decide whether you want to adjust some parts or not. And if you are satisfied with everything, we are done with our illustration. Thank you for watching this class. We review if you liked it and can tine subscribing for MirkaI videos in the future. Looking forward to seeing your project.
