1. Introduction: Hello, everyone. I'm ni, and in this class, we are going to draw this cute why illustration of an adorable reindeer girl in procreate. During this class, you'll get familiar with a lot of useful features like quick shape two, liquefied two, symmetry two, alpha log, clipping masks, and blending mold, and learn the basics of drawing in procreate. By the end, you'll not only draw an adorable illustration you'll be proud of, but also feel super confident using procreate. And now let's spend some time drawing. 2. Basic Scheme + Head Sketch: Let's start by deciding what kind of canvas we are going to be using. They were using a standard canvas that you can find in Procreate, our Pixel weed and Pixel had a set at 2048 pixels. Our DPI are at 300 and our color profile is set as SRGB with this low number. When it's all done, heating down, getting redirected to Arne Canvas, zooming it out just a little bit. And when we have our canvas right here, let's just go under the project and research app and download all the materials mentioned in the tutorial. When you've downloaded the colors and everything, let's just go first to our lyrics. Let's just go to the background color. We'll go the cards right here and we will select the color with the title background. When we did it, let's go again to our color palette so tap in on this little icon on the top right. And let's just go and select some darkish colors. It doesn't matter which one, just select one of them. And when you have the color selected, let's just go to our brush library. We'll go to the sketching folder, and this time we will select nearing their pencil. When we did it, let's just start by creating a little scheme that will help us to create our illustration. Firstly, just go boldly to our canvas and creating a shape of the rectangle with one line. In the end, we will hold our Apple pencil and we will go over the soap. And if we have the option rectangle here, we will just go and select it. If you don't have this option, just go and adjust it to your liking just manually. If you want to go a little bit to the side and make it a little bit narrower right here, you are welcome to go and do that. Basically, what we need is something like that. When we have the results like that, let's just tap on the screen, and let's just go and position this little element right at the center of our canvas. To do that, we will just need to go to our Aro key. We will use uniform method. We will go under snapping right here and we'll turn on snapping right here in the settings, and then we will just get back to our canvas and we will hold our Apple pencil, and we'll be looking for these two orange lines, one vertical and one horizontal. If you want to make this shape a little bit smaller, you are welcome to go to one of the nodes either on the top or on the bottom in the middle. If you change the size of it, let's just go again and find these two orange lines. When we have something going in that way, let's just go and tap on our air key to accept the changes, and then we will get back to our layers and create one more layer on top and onto this new layer, let's just go to the center of the sheet and let's create a straight line going through the whole shape and through the whole canvas. Let's hold our Apple pencil and the end of the line, and also let's hold one of our fingers on the screen to make sure that this line that we are creating is straight. When we are done with it, one more time, let's just go to our Er key. Let's just go to the uniform method snapping is on. We are again looking for this line that now is going through the center on the horizontal axis. When you are in this line, just lift up your Apple Pencil and let's just tap on our Ero key and accept the changes. When we have these two shapes done, let's go to our layers. Let's tap on this layer on the top and let's merge it down so we will have everything on one layer. When we did it, let's also go to this N icon and let's just go and adjust the opacity so we still can see what's happening here, but it's not that bright. When we have the opacity that we like, let's just tap on the plus icon and create a new layer on top. Now let's continue creating our additional lines that will help us to create our illustration. Firstly, let's just go a little bit lower than this line that we have right here on the top, and again, we'll just go and create a straight line going right here. Hold your Apple pencil, hold one of your fingers on the screen. Let's just go to the editing mode over the top and shift this line a little bit. So when you've positioned it in that way, let's just tap on the screen and let's continue by going to the bottom and we will create a line for the chin. Going from this line that we have right here on the middle part, we will step a bit from it, and again, we will just go there and create a straight line right here. Holding our Apple pencil, holding one of our fingers on the screen. If you want to move this line, let's just go to our timot and move it just a little bit, so we'll have some space on the bottom. So let's position it in that way. And when we hand the results like that, let's just tap on the screen, and let's just go and name these lines. So this line on the top will be our head, and our line on the bottom will be our line for the chin. When we am these lines, let's just go to the bottom and let's just deal with this little space right here. We'll just go and create another line right here that will go through the center of the rest of the sheep, again, holding our Apple pencil, holding one of our fingers and moving this line right at the center from the editing mode if we need to. This line will be the bottom part of our coat. So if you want, you can just go and write down something about the coat. When we have something going in that way, let's go and deal with the facial features, the facial structure. Firstly, let's just go to this line that we have right here in the center, we'll go just a little bit underneath it and we'll create another straight line going there. Hold your Apple pencil, hold your line, hold your one finger on the screen and adjust it to your liking. When you have this shape, you can just go and write down ice. When we have this line, let's just go a little bit higher than this line that we have in the center, but we will have a bit more space than we have on the bottom. Go in there and creating another line right here, holding our Apple pencil, holding one of our fingers. This is our line of the ice too. So if you need to, you are welcome to go and try down Ice one more time. When we have something going in that way, let's also go just a little bit higher than this line that we have just created and create one more line right here. This is going to be our line for the glasses. Again, holding everything that we need to hold. If we want to move this line a little bit, you are welcome to go and move it and write down glasses. Also, if you are a little bit confused with these lines, we can go to our Metric one tool, saturation and brightness and adjust the color of them. These lines are different from what we have as our base scheme that we have on the layer on the bottom. When we have the color that we like, when we have the distinction between these little lines, let's just tap again on our Magic q tool and get away from this mood. Now when we have the result like that, let's go and start creating our first scheme. Firstly, let's just get back to our layers and if you want you can go to this N icon and adjust the opacity of this layer to find the aman that works for you. Tap on the layer, and let's just go and create one more layer on top. Onto this layer, we will start creating our sketch. So when we hand this layer selected, let's just go and do one more thing that again will help us to create our illustration. We'll be using symmetry to create both sides on one shot. So when we have this layer selected, we are going to arrange icon. We are going under Canvas, and we are toggling drawing guide right here. When you first toggled it, you will see the cells. It's not the option that we need, so we will just need to go under eight drawing guide, and we just need to go under symmetry right here. When we have this line it is going from top to the bottom, we are not touching anything here. We are just hitting down over the to prt. Now when we have the result like that, let's just go to our brush library. We'll go to the sketching folder and this time, let's just go and select some other brush. For example, technical pencil will work perfectly. When we have this brush selected with the same color that we are using right now, dark pink line, we will start going to our scheme and figuring out where we are going to be putting our little shapes that later on will turn into our illustration. Firstly, let's just go and start from this land that we have right here for the chin, and we will be just going from this little line toward the soap and creating the line that we will use for our fest. So let's just go and start very easily just by going with a soft shape like that going up, going higher than this land that we have right here for our glasses. So just creating our soft lines. If you want, you can just work onto this little line just go in and creating a couple of lines like that. If you are not seeing clearly what you are doing, you are welcome to grab your eraser and just clean up everything that you are creating right here and just go with a cleaner look for your sketchy lines. So now let's just go and maybe make it a little bit less rounded. Go and creating the line going up the same way as we have it on the outside parts. If you want to go and erase these additional lines, let's just go and do that. For now, we're going to be working on the symmetrical elements. And when we have this first shape, let's go a little bit higher than these lines that we have right here for our glasses. And when we have it, let's just go and create the facial features. Firstly, let's just go to this actual line where we have our glasses, and from this line, we will just go and create a big circle like that. Again, just with one line, holding our Apple pencil, holding one of our fingers on the screen, and let's just go to our option that popped up our 18 mode, and we will adjust the placement on this element. Let's position it a little bit closer to one another. And when we have something going in that way, just make sure that you are positioning this shape right here on the top, and you have a bit of the space right here on the bottom. You are in the engine mode and if you want to adjust the size of this element, you are welcome to go right between the nodes that you have right here. Hold your Apple pencil there and just drag this shape a little bit inwards. When you adjusting the size, just move this shape a little bit higher again. And when you have something going in that way, when you are satisfied with everything here, let's just tap on the screen and we'll accept our changes. Now when we have the results like that, let's go inside this shape, and let's just go to these two lines that we use for our eyes. Let's just go right to the center of this shape that we've created right now and we will go with another shape of the circle. Again, just holding our line when we are done, creating the sheep, holding one of our fingers right here, go into our 18 modes, and let's just position it right at the center of this first sheet that we've created. Position it right between these two lines that we've created for our guiding lines, for our eyes. Now when we have the result like that, let's just tap on the screen and let's just go right between the sheep. Where we have our eyes, we will go to this line that we have right here for our center. We'll go just a little bit above it and we will create a curve like that. When we have it, let's just go underneath our line. We'll go to the same line where we have the bottom part of our eyes and from this line, we will just go and start creating the mouth. Let's go to this line and we will start by creating a straight line right at a guiding line of our bottom part of the eyes and from this line, we will just go down and we will start creating an open mouth like that. You can experiment with the shape. If you want to you can go with a bigger shape with a smaller shape, it's up to you. You are welcome to maybe work on a more open shape on the bottom or on a shape that will look like straight right here, it's all up to you and just play around with the shape, find what works for you. When you are done, we can also go and map out what we will have inside. We will have a little tank right here, and we will recolor everything differently later on. So now when we have the result like that, let's again go and start working onto some other elements. Let's go to this line that we have right here for our head, and from this line, we will be just going to the side. So first, let's just go to it, and we will be just going and creating a little line like that. From this line, let's just go to the sides and we will be starting to map out where we are going to be having our hair. Just going down with little shapes like that, you can go a little bit flatter on the top and a little bit wider on the bottom, just go and creating something going in that way, trying to make everything rounded and nice. If you want to go and adjust some parts with your eraser, you are welcome to go and do that. Let's just go and start creating something going in that way. Just going outside the shapes and creating something going in that way, going more towards the inside part going around our shape of the head. And when we have something going in that way, let's just go over the top and we will start creating the shape that we are going to be using for this reindeer girl. So we will firstly go to this part that we've created for our head. So you can just go and maybe make it a little bit more rounded. You can go a little bit lower than this line that you've created. If you want to clean everything up, create a nicer look for your lines, you are welcome to go and do that. Let's get back to Abrash and we will go toward the sides and we will start by creating little antlers here. Firstly, going towards one of the sides as we are using symmetry, it doesn't matter to which one. We will go toward this line that we have right here on the top and from here, we will step a bit and we will start creating our antlers. Firstly, we can just go and create the guiding line going in that way. We are creating just a very soft curve. When we have it, let's just go and add some thickness to it. Just creating a little bump on the top and then going down and starting to create this peculiar shape of our antlers. Go a little bit toward the side and creating these peculiar shapes like that, going and creating one more of them on the bottom, and we are paying attention to the inside part to these connection parts on the sides. We are making them very soft and we are just going and creating something going in that way. When we hand the result like that going toward the bottom and creating our thickness for this shape on the bottom, don't worry if it doesn't look quite right right now, we can fix everything later on if we need to. Let's just go and continue going to the opposite side and creating a rounder shape on the top first, and then we will just go again outwards and start creating the peculiar shape right here for the shape of the antler. Let's just go with this little shape like that, and then we will just go down with another curve and we will nicely connect it with the overall shape that we have right here. For now, let's just work more onto the ship. If we need to go and erase some parts, we will just go and do that. We will need to soften everything up and make nice connections between the ship. And overall, just work onto the ship that we have right here. If you have some additional lines that you need to work on or erase, you are welcome to go and do that. Just try to make these shapes pretty soft and follow the direction that we have right here for our sheep that we've created as a guiding line. If you need to maybe work on the overall shape of these little parts that you are creating right here, you are welcome to go and do that. If you want to maybe try out different directions when you already have the sheep, you are again, welcome to go and try it out. Find what works for you, work a bit onto these sheeps and try to create nice overall shape for the antlers right here. Again, don't worry if it doesn't look very nice right now. We can fix everything later on if we need to. Basically, what we need is to have these little parts even and equal to one another. So if some of them are a little bit too protruding, go and work onto this part and just have a nice look for these parts generally. When we have something going in that way, let's go underneath our little antlers right here and let's create little here. So firstly, let's just go a little bit lower than one of the antlers. We'll go over one of the sides. We will step a bit from it, and we will just go and create a shape going in that way. Just go into this line that we have right here on the side, and when we have it, we will just go down and create a more open shape right here. Just creating something going in that way and then going inside the shape and creating a peculiar curve right here. Let's just work onto the shape. Let's make it a little bit more rounded. You can work on both sides. It's easier for you to probably go from one side to another. Let's make nice connection between the shape that we have right here for our head and we will work on the oral shape that we have right here for the ear. When we have something going in that way, we can just go grab our eraser and erase this part that we have right here. Then let's just go inside the shape and let's just go step a bit from the top and we will go and create a langon in that way. You can just go and work more onto the ship. If you want to, you can go and maybe adjust it to your liking. You are welcome to play around with the overall ship, maybe have it a little bit more in a pointy way. It's up to you find what you like right here. And when we have something going in that way, let's go underneath this little antler that we have on one of the sides, and let's just go and create additional elements in the shape of the boo. Let's go and make it in a peculiar way. So we will just go a little bit outside the shape that we have right here and we will go with the shape of the heart. Let's just go and create it going in that way, create a heart shape like that. Try to make it a little bit flatter than the actual heart that you would like to do right here to make it and when you have it on one side, soften it up right here where you have the connection with the bottom part and we will go to the middle part right here. We will create a little bump right here on the top and the same on the bottom. If you want to work more onto the shape right here, you are welcome to go and do that. And then we will just go to the opposite side and create something similar here. So again, just rotating our canvas and creating a shape of the heart right here. Try to make it even on both sides. So if you soften up the inside part of this little bow right here, you are welcome to do the same on this side too. Let's just go and try to make it even on both sides size wise too. When you are overall satisfied, let's just go and erase all these lines that we don't need that are overlapping or maybe some lines that are a little bit of kind of mistakes or something like that. When we have the result that we like, let's take a look at everything from the distance and decide whether we want to maybe adjust something or not. For example, we can go and make this part a little bit bigger, so it is even to the part that we have on the opposite side, so we can erase something. And then we will just go right here to this little sheet that we have in the center. If you want to work on it a little bit more, you are welcome to do it. We'll go to the sides from it and we will create one shape like that on one side and similar shape on the opposite side too to make sure that it is some kind of the bow right here. So now when we have the result like that, let's go and start working onto the here. 3. Hair & Body Sketch: Let's go to these little parts that we've created right here and let's work on them a little bit. So firstly, we will just go to this shape where we have our boo, and we will start figuring out where we want to create our ear. Let's just go and start creating the peculiar shape. Let's maybe start to work onto the overall shape right here of our hair. Let's overlap this part a little bit. If you need to go and work onto the ear, a little bit more, you are welcome to go and do that. When we have something going in that way, let's just go towards the part where we have our little assets right here. From this part, we will just go to one of the sides and we will start figuring out where we will start creating our here. As we right now are using our symmetry, we can just go and mark down just where we want to start our here. It will be somewhere right underneath our bow or a little bit lower. And when we hand this out like that, let's go toward our face, and we will start creating the here. So we will need to pay attention to this little markdown that we have just created because here is where we are going to be starting to create our here. This is where we are going to be having our fringe. So we'll just need to step a bit from this line, and we will just go to the sides, and we will need to make a nice freeing for the here. Let's just go and work a little bit more onto the sheep. If you have some additional lines that you have right here that you've created in the first place, we can just go and work on them a little bit. We will just go a little bit underneath the chin right here, just a little bit, and we will start by going and creating the strength of the here right here. Let's just go and start by creating a little shape like that, and then we will make a little triangular shape and go up with another strength. We'll just need to make sure that the parts that we are creating on the bottom are a little bit wider than the shape that we are starting with on the top. So let's just go and work on this little strength, just creating a very soft here right here. If you don't want to go with a pointy outlines with the pointy shapes on the bottom, let's just go and work on them. Let's just make them soft. Try to go in a direction with the here with the gravity and try to make this shape that you have right here on the inside part a little bit lower than the shape that you have on the outside part. So if you just need to go and maybe cut some parts a little bit, work with your brush, work with your eraser, and adjust it to your liking. So erase the parts that you don't need with your eraser, and when you have the result that you like, let's go and continue creating our ships. So firstly, let's just go to these outside parts, and we will go and find where we are going to be ending our hair on the bottom. So let's just go to this line that we have right here on the bottom. We'll step a bit from it, and we will make a little markdown like that. When we have this mark down, we will be just going from it higher and we will be creating a curl right here. Let's just go with a big shape like that. You can see we are creating it on both sides nicely. Let's just go and create something in that way. When we have it, let's just go and maybe add a bit more of interest to these parts and we will just go a little bit outside the shape and we will create a smaller shape right here. Again, just working with very soft curves, just creating something in that way. When we have something going in that way, let's go toward the bottom and let's create some curls right here, some end parts of our hair, doing the same thing as we have right here on the top, creating the triangular shapes right here and making some partings into our here. Let's just go and create three of them like that, maybe work onto the size or onto the direction of the elements, it's all up to you. When we have the result like that, let's just go underneath our chin and let's just go and create a little scarf right here. Firstly, let's just go and make sure that we have our chin right onto our line that we have right here for our chin. If you just need to go and maybe adjust something here, you are welcome to go and do that. Use your brush, use your eraser, and make sure that you are liking the result that you are working on now. Let's just go and maybe create the lines going in that way. If you need to go and adjust some parts, over these shapes that you are creating right now. So maybe the chin and the shapes that you have for the here. Let's just go and adjust them. When we have these clean outlines right here, let's just go underneath the little chin that we have here and we will start creating the scarf. Firstly, let's go and make something similar to what we have right here for the chin line. Let's just go and start creating the rounded shape like that somewhere a little bit in a center or a little bit higher than the center. So you decide how thick you want the shape to be. When you have something going in that way, the first curve, let's just go to the sides, and we will start continuing creating our scarf right here and closing up the shape. So we will go to the sides and let's just go and create the shape in that way, and then we will nicely connect it on the bottom with our curve. The first curve that we will have right here as our line of the scarf. When we have something going in that way, let's just go and start working on the body. From this line that we've created for our scarf, let's just go a little bit toward the sides and we will be just going with little lines like that. When we have something going in that way, let's just go to this line that we've just created, and we will go and create the peculiar shape like that in a shape of the circle or a little ellipse. So when we have something going in that way, let's just go underneath these little parts and we will create another shape of the ellipse here. This will be our little hands, and we will need to work more ont the shape that we've created before. We will not have just a circle right here or an ellipse. We just need to connect it with our shape that we have for our sleeve. Let's just go over the top and let's just go and connect it in that. If you want to work more on the shape that we are going to be using for our hands, let's just go and work with our brush and with our eraser and create something going in that way. Just a simple shape like that when we have it, let's just go and continue creating our little sleep right here. Just go into this connection that we have right here on the side and we will be just going underneath it and creating another connection right here. Probably we are just creating the rounded rectangle right here, not a circle or an ellipse, so it will look more natural with the overall shapes that we are creating for our illustration. So if you have some elements that you need to erase, go and erase them. And when we hand the results like that, let's just go toward the curve. We will go a little bit lower and we will be just going toward the sides, and we will be creating the shapes like that. So we are connecting it nicely with the sheet that we've created for our arm right here, and we are going toward the sheet that we have for our coat. When we have reached this line with these additional outlines that we have right here on the side, let's just go right underneath it and we will create a curve right here. So let's just go with a peculiar shape like that. So just creating it in a nice way. And when we have this shep, let's just go underneath it, and we will add a bit of thickness and a bit of furred here with our code, so just creating something in that way and then when we have it, we will just go to the side and we will need to connect it with our code. Firstly, let's just go and work on the connection right here onto the sides. Let's make it a little bit more rounded and going lit bit more inward. When we have it, we will get back to our brush, and we will be just going to this line that we've just created and we will make a little curve going on this side right here where we have this fluffy part. Just having some peculiar shape right here, connecting it nicely with the oral shape that we have on the bottom. If you want to go with more straighter lines right here or if you prefer the curves, you are welcome to use the curves here too. You can always take a look at everything from the distance and decide whether you like the lines that you've created or you want to maybe change them to straight ones. Let's just go and work onto these elements, and when you are done, let's just go and create the legs here. Let's go to the center. We will just step a bit from the center line that we have right here and we'll be just going with two little lines going in that way. Actually, let's just go and create not the lines, but the curve, we will just go to the bottom and we will be starting to create the line going up in that way. If it's easier for you, you can just go with one line and create half of the ellipse like that and go to the 18 mode and adjust it from here, so you will have a nicer of the legs. You can go and make them a little bit thicker or little bit thinner. You can go and maybe play around with the placement of these elements. When you're overall done, let's just tap on the screen, and if you have some lines that you need to erase or adjust, let's just go and adjust them. Now when we have the results like that, let's also go to the bottom of these legs that we've created. Let's create a little lingon in that way and maybe another line right here. So these lines will represent the socks or maybe the little boots right here, so you can just go and shade this shape that you have right here on the bottom so you are not confused later when we have the result like that, we are done with our sheets that are supposed to be drawn with our symmetry. Let's just go and turn it off and let's just work on the additional elements that we need to work on here. Firstly, let's just go to our layers and you can see that our layer number three is assisted. We just need to turn it off. Let's just tap on this lay and just choose the drawing assist, we will tap on it and we will turn it. So now when we have the freedom to create everything that we want right here, let's just go and start doing it. So firstly, let's just go and work onto our shape of the head and onto our shape of the fringe and everything here. Let's go to the slide that we have right here and we will be parting our here. So let's just go a little bit closer to this left side first, and we will be just creating a little bump right here and then we'll go to the opposite side and create a bigger bump right here. If you have some additional lines that you need to go and work on or erase, you are welcome to go and erase them. Let's just go and create a nice shape right here. When you have something going in that way, we are going to this little line that we've created right here as our guiding line from where we are going to be creating our little shape of the fringe. And we will be just going and starting by going toward the left side and we will just go and create a fringe going in that way. Start by creating a little curve going toward the right part from the left and we will be just going and creating it just going toward the shape that we have right here for our glasses. Let's just go with something asymmetrical here, just creating the curve going toward the glasses, work under the curvature, and then let's just go up and let's create a nicer line right here. Again, just going a little bit higher than this line that we've just created and creating something similar here and going a little bit bolder at and creating maybe two little lines like that. If it's easier for you, you can just rotate your canvas and create something in that way. That will be a little bit more natural for the natural flow of the hand and you will be just creating nicer shapes right here. Let's just map out what we want to create. Let's just make two bumps like that, and let's just go toward the top part right here, and we will be just creating the continuation with the shape of the little curve. For now, let's just work more onto the shape. Let's maybe go with a bigger shape right here. Map out what you want to create here, work onto the outlines, if you need to go and erase some parts, you are welcome to go and erase them. Work on the overall shape of the fringe, maybe make it a little bit longer or if you want to go and create something different here, you are welcome to go and do that. Just create a nice shape that you would like to see here. When we have the overall shape that we like, let's go and work more on the shapes that we have outside. Let's go and connect our shape right here nicely with the fringe. I probably will go and make it just a little bit longer so it is going to this part that we have right here on the side. Let's just go and make this part a little bit longer just by repeating the shapes that we already have right here, erasing everything that we don't need, and when we have something going in that way, let's go and erase this part right here too. So when we have something going in that way to make everything not as symmetrical as we have it right now, we can just go and maybe work on some additional elements right here and make some of them different from one another. For example, we can just go to this little part that we have right here for our hair and adjust it by creating a different pattern right here with our so you can just go and par these parts a little bit or make them in a different way from what you have on the opposite side. When you have something going in that way, let's just go to this curve that we've created for our fringe. We will step a bit from this peculiar shape that we have right here on the top, so you can just go and create a hook like that. And from this hook, we will go a little bit lower probably to where it's starting to create this hook, and we will be just going there and creating a little shape going in that way. That will be the top part of our head of our face, and we'll be just going there and creating the little curve like that. When we have it, we will go higher than it and we will add a bit of the volume right here. We will start in by creating a little sheep like that going up and then we'll turn the sheep into a curve and we will connect it nicely with the strength of hair that we have right here. If you want to work more onto the thickness of this element, you are welcome to go and do that. You are welcome to go and erase this line if you have something that you need to erase. So just go there and create this additional volume right here for the here, and if you have some peculiar shape right here that you still need to go and connect, you are welcome to go and continue creating this line right here. Now let's just take a look at everything from the distance and make sure that we like everything here. Let's just go and maybe work more onto the here. Let's just go and add some difference right here onto this side. Let's just go and continue creating this shape right here. Go into this little peculiar shape and let's just go a little bit outwards, and let's create a strand goon in that way. We're not going to be creating it on the opposite side, just right here onto the left. And when we have it, let's go right here on the bottom, and let's work onto this here here, so let's just go to these sites that we have on the bottom. Let's just go and work on them. Let's make them not that similar to one another that we have on the opposite side, so you can just go and create something different right here. We also will need to add the hair right here. So you can just go and create a little strand in that way. Or if you prefer something different, you are welcome to go and do that. Let's just go to the opposite side and let's create some strands here, too. So again, you can just go and create different shapes right here, different from what you have on the opposite side. Now let's just take a look at everything right here and let's go and work onto the scarf. When we have our scarf in that way, let's go to the left side or to the right side if you prefer and let's just go and create this loose end right here. We'll be just going to bottom part of our scarf and we will be just going with little peculiar shape like that. Just creating the rounded shapes on the side, not too rounded, just slightly rounded. When we have them, we will be just going to the bottom and we will create some peculiar shapes right here, just go there and create some maybe fluffy part or something like that. Let's connect it nicely with the overall shape of our scarf right here and let's just go and create something pecular here. When we have something in that way, we also can go and add a bit of a line right here to make a difference into the shape. And when we have something in that way, let's also go to the opposite side, and let's create a bit of the fluff right here. Let's just go and create something in that way. You can overlap the shape of the scarf just create something in that way. If you want to go and erase some parts that you don't need that are overlapping, for example, let's just go and do that. When we have the result like that, let's also get back to a brush. Let's just go to this little place underneath the hair on the left, and let's just go and create a little eyebrow right here. We won't see it on the opposite side, so let's just have just one of them. And when we have the result like that, let's just go and take a look at everything that we have right here without the lines of these guiding elements that we have right here. Just get back to our list and let's just go and hide these two layers that we have right here on the bottom. We'll be just going to these check boxes and we will be just tapping on them. Now, when we don't have our lines of symmetry and of our guiding lines, let's just take a look and critically decide whether we want to adjust some parts or not. We can do it very easily just by going to our Magic plan to and we will be using our liquefied tool right here. On the bottom, we have a lot of options. We'll be using the option push and we can just go and adjust the size of our brush. With these two, we will be going to some of the places and we will be just going and adjusting them. And to make it even on both sides, if you want to start by adjusting it on both sides, we'll just need to get back and we will just need to go to these layers. We'll need to tap on our layer and turn on our drone assist one more time. So that way, when you've turned on the assisted drawing, we can get back to our adjustment liquefied two. And if you are going to be changing something on one side, you will be changing it on the opposite side too. So for now, let's just go and adjust some parts that are supposed to be symmetrical with the liquefied two. When you are done, adjusting your shapes with the symmetry one, you can just go away from this mode by tab on the adjustments twice, and then just go back to your list, turn off assisted drawing, and if you need to go and maybe adjust some other elements without the symmetry, you are welcome to get back to your adjustments, liquefy to and play around with some elements without the symmetry too. Again, if you want to spend some time here without the lines of the symmetry and maybe adjust some additional elements that you have right here, you are welcome to go and do that. Just spend some time here and create something that you would like to see here. When you are done with everything that you have right here, let's just tap on our adjustments twice one more time. And when we are done with this task, we are done with our sketch so we can move on to our next part where we are going to be creating our clean lights. 4. Clean Lines: Let's begin this part firstly by going to our layers, and we will go to this layer where we have our sketch. We'll tap on the N icon, and we will adjust the opacity. When we have the result that we like when we are satisfied with the opacity level, let's just tap on the layer, and let's create one more lay on top. One more time, let's just turn on symmetry, so we will be able to recreate the elements in a nice way on both sides one time. Let's just tap on the layer and let's just go and turn on our drawn as. When we did it, let's just get back to our brush library. Let's just go to our calligraphy folder. If you want to use the lines that will be looking nice everywhere that will be quite even everywhere, let's just go and use the monoline brush. If you want to have some flow into your line, if you want to have some kind of the difference when you are creating the line with the pressure. We can just go to the ink and folder and we can select technical pen brush. So decide on the brush that you want to use right here. And if you want your lines to be very smooth, we can go and tweak one option of the brush of your choice. We can just tap on the brush, go inside the brush studio, go under stabilization, and play around with the amount of streamline and amount of stabilization. You can try it out onto a drawing pad, how it feels. If you want to go and maybe tweak some options right here, you are welcome to go and do that. Remember that you can always get back to this option later on if you need to and adjust it to your liking. So when you are satisfied with everything here, let's just heat down, and let's just go to our canvas. We will be using the same color that we are using right now, dark pink line, and we will start recreating the elements that are supposed to be symmetrical. So what we are doing firstly is going and changing the size of a brush. So try out a couple of sizes, find something that works for you. And when you are done, let's just go and start recreating the elements right here. So we will be going toward the elements that we have right here and we will be just starting by creating very smooth and very soft lines. Let's just go and try to make nice connections between the sheep. So if you have something going in that way when your line is a little bit not smooth, you are welcome to go and manually adjust it just by going and erasing or adding something to your line and just making it smooth so it is even everywhere. If you want to go and try out something different, you are welcome to go and do that. You actually don't need to work with the smooth lines. If you want to go with the natural lines, you are welcome to go and do that. When we have this first line right here, let's just go and continue creating RH. Also, you can just use the same options that we used before. You can just start creating the shape and you can hold it at the end to create a smooth. If you want to go to the 18 mode and adjust the curvature, you are welcome to go to the nodes that you have right here and adjust them. All that we need to achieve right here is to create smooth and connected and closed lines. Everything that we are creating outside, all of the outlines that we have right here should be closed. That means that we don't have any gaps into our lines, and that is what we are trying to achieve here. When we are done with this task, let's make sure that we have connection right here. Let's just go and edit. When we have this result, let's just go and continue creating the shape right here on the bottom. Or if you change it a little bit, it is not even on both sides, we can keep it as it is right now and just move on to the symmetrical elements. Let's just go and maybe start working on the face. You can rotate your canvas to create it in a better way for you in a more way that kind of convenient. When you hand the result like that, let's go and recreate this line right here. If you are working with the technical pen, you can see that it is a pressure brush. You will see how the brush behaves when you use pressure. It is either getting pretty solid and even when you are adding pressure and it thins up if you are lighting the pressure of the pencil. Again, when we are creating our clean lines, it doesn't need to be similar to what you have onto your sketch. If you want to adjust some parts, you can just go and adjust them to your like and you can try out different things right here. It's all up to you. For now, let's just focus on the parts where we have the symmetry elements onto our sketch. Again, pay attention to the connections. If you want, you also can go and maybe play around with the thickness of the lines. For example, you can go to some of the elements and make them lt bit thicker and mostly we can do it outside the shapes. If you want to go and create the thicker outlines, you will be working with the outside parts, and if you are inside the shapes, you probably would want to go with the thinner lines right here. So when we are done with the scarf, let's just go and continue creating the shapes that we have right here for our sleeves. If you want to experiment a little bit, you are welcome to go and do that. Probably let's just go over the top and create the shape the same way as we have it onto our sketche. Let's connect it nicely. So if you are creating a thinner line right here, you will just need to make a nice connection right here between the shapes. When you are done with it, let's just go and recreate this part right here. Again, just with one line, we are creating our shape, holding it at the end. If we want to adjust it in any way, maybe move it, we can go to the 18 mode and do it from here. If you want to maybe try out a different direction or different size from what you have onto your sketch, you are welcome to go and do that too. As for the bottom, let's first accept the changes for this little part, and then we will move on to the bottom. Let's just go and make it a little bit fluffy. Let's just go and create the peculiar shape going in that way, not just a plain curve right here. When we have it, let's just go and recreate this little line right here. But let's go not with a solid line, but with a bit of the line like that. Let's just go along this shape that we have right here and we will create peculiar shapes like that. When we have it, let's go and create this additional line right here. If you want to again experiment a little bit and create it in a different way from what you have onto your sketch, just create it in a nice way, and when you have it, let's just go and continue creating right here on the bottom. So just creating a nice curve and making a nice connection right here. The middle part. If you just need to go and adjust it by creating a couple of lines right here to make a smooth transition between the sides, you are welcome to go and do that. If you see that maybe you want to go and work on this connection right here on the side, you are welcome to go and do that too. We also can go to this little part where we have this not so pointy line and make it more pointy just by using our eraser, going very slightly right here and creating a nice point element right here and when we have it, let's just go again to our brush and let's go and continue creating our additional elements right here. Let's just go to this bottom part and let's just start by creating a curve going down in that way. When we have this curve, let's again go to the bottom and let's create a similar curve, the perl one to what we have right here on the top. Again, let's make a nice connection between the halves. When we have it, let's again get back to our brush if you're using a different to, let's just go right here where we have our legs and with one line, let's create the shape like that. Again, if you want to adjust it, let's just go and find our editing mode. Let's just go and maybe take a look at it from the distance and decide whether we want to maybe adjust what we have onto our skage, try to make the legs pretty straight. And when you have the result like that, let's just tap on the screen. Let's make sure that our lines are connected. And then we'll just go to the bottom and we will create straight lines right here. Again, just creating a line, holding our Apple pencil, holding one of our fingers on the screen to make this line straight. When we have it going a little bit higher and creating another line, similarly to what we have before, and we will just again hold our Apple pencil, hold our finger on the screen, and adjust it in that way. Now, when we are done with the bottom part, let's move on to the top and let's start probably from our facial features. Let's just go and create the shape that we have right here for the eye. Let's just go and create it just with one line, hold your Apple pencil, hold one of your fingers, adjust the size if you need to. When you are done, let's just drag and drop the color inside. When we have it done, let's go and recreate our shapes that we have right here for our glasses. Again, just with one line, creating our shape, holding one of our fingers. If we need to go and move it, we are going to our 18 mode and we are finding a placement for the element. When we are done with this task, taping on the screen and let's just go and create this little part and let's just go with a thinner line right here. When we have it, let's just go and recreate the mouth. Again, starting by creating a little straight line right here, again, working with thinner lines right here and then just go into the bottom and creating a shape. Again, you can hold it at the end, make a nice connection right here. If you want to go to the 18 mode and adjust it from here, maybe make it little bit more rounded, you are welcome to go and do that. So just spend some time here, adjust it to your liking. If you have some extra parts that you don't need, you are welcome to grab an eraser and erase the parts that you don't need. Connect it nicely, make a nice connection right here on the bottom, make a nice connection right here on the top. And when we have it, let's again, go to the toppy top, and we will be recreating these elements that we need to recreate right here. So let's start by going to our little shapes of the bows, for example, and let's just go and with our curves by holding them down on the side, on the end of our curve, let's just go and recreate these elements. Let's just go and hold our Apple pencil at the end. Let's go to the 18 mode. If you want to go there, let's again go and adjust the curvature of these elements. If you have some overlapping parts that you don't like, for example, right here, you are welcome to go and erase it, work onto the connection right here if you need to when you have it, let's just go to the bottom and let's continue creating shape of the bow right here. Again with one line, hold it at the end, go to the 18 mode, if you need to adjust it, and then go into the opposite side and recreating the second part right here. Again, just hold R line, trying to make a nice connection. If you want to go to the 18 mode and adjust the curvature, adjust the element right here, if you want to adjust it more than it is, let's just adjust it and then go into the opposite side and creating the last part right here. Again, holding it nicely, go into the 18 mode if you need to trying to make a nice connection. If you want to take a look at it from the distance to make sure that it is similar on both sides, you are welcome to go and do that. Try to make it even. When you are done, just tap on the screen. If you have some elements that you need to erase, go and erase them. Soften up the little curse little connections that you have right here. And when you are done with it, let's go and recreate these additional elements with thinner lines right here. So use a little bit of less pressure onto a brush. Now when we have this, let's go and recreate our little ears right here. Let's just go and maybe rotate our canvas so it will be easier for us to create our curse right here. Let's go and recreate these additional elements right here. You can again play around with the shapes that you have on your illustration onto your sketch right now. If you want to maybe try out a different shape, you're welcome to go and do that. When you have these outlines, let's just go inside. Again, with the thinner line, let's create this curve. When you are done with this task, let's go and recreate our antlers. So go in there and recreating our elements as they are onto your sketch, or if you want to experiment a little bit, you are welcome to go and do that. Let's just go with very soft curves right here. And as for these parts that we have right here inside, we are making them rounded too. So let's again, take a look at everything from the distance if we need to, and we will be just going there and recreating this part. We are avoiding to create the very straight corners right here. If you have some straight corners, let's just go and soften them up. Let's work onto the overall shape right here and let's continue by going and recreating the rest of the elements right here. Connect them nicely, work onto the connections, just by going with your brush and with your eraser. Try to make nice lines all over the place. So just work with your brush and work with your eraser if you need to. You can go with a more rounder shape right here on the top if you want to. If you have some, again, additional elements that you need to work on with your brush and with your eraser, you are welcome to go and do that. Let's go to this little part and make it a little bit straighter but not too straight, and we will just work with our brush and with our eraser here too, to create a nice shape right here. Now let's just take a look at everything that we have right here, whether we edit all the elements that require our symmetry too. If we are done with everything, let's just go again to our list. Let's tap on our layer where we have our lines and we'll turn off our assisted drawing. Now when we did it, let's just go and recreate the rest of the elements. Again, getting back to our brush and doing the same thing here. Just go in there and recreating the lines either the same way as we have them onto our layer with the sketch or in a different way if you want to experiment alphabet. The main goal is to go and create closed and smooth and nice lines. Let's just go to the stop part and recreate it. If you want to go with a different line, you are welcome to go and do that. If you want to work with your eraser and maybe open up this little part a little bit, you are welcome to go and adjust the size of your brush. So adjust it to your liking and also as a pecular element, we also can go right inside this sheet and we can just go and add two little lines or three little lines going in that way. We are creating some kind of the bend right here. When we have it, let's just go and recreate these additional elements right here onto our bottom. Trying to make the curves right here, the nice ones, go in there and recreating them as they are onto our sketch. We are not creating them in a similar way on both sides, so just spend some time here and create them one by one on both sides. Again, if you are recreating everything in a different way, you are not supposed to create everything with 100% of similarity. You can just go and play around with these additional elements. You can just go and maybe lift up this little element that we are creating for this strength. Just make sure that all of your lines are smooth and doesn't have the gaps or doesn't have a very weird connection, just work onto the smoothness of the lines and onto their closeness. Let's just go and continue creating the same hair on the opposite side. Let's just go from the top and we can just go with the shape just with one line, so you can just hold your line at the end and try to make a connection right here on the bottom. If you need to work with your eraser, work with it, again, try to make nice connection right here. Try to avoid these abruptions, and then let's just go and recreate this little part that we have right here. Again, if you want you can just work with the curves, you can just hold your lines at the end to create additional elements right here. You are welcome to experiment with the gaps that you have right here in the strengths. You are welcome to also play rounds with the roundness and the volume of the hair, so it's all up to you. Just try to work with the natural flow of the hair and try to create this peculiar, nice curve going down. Now let's just go and erase the parts that we don't need. If you have some go in and again, creating nice connections, nice smooth lines, trying to avoid these very abrupt elements. If you have some elements that you need to work on even more, let's just go and work on them. Again, trying to make nice connections. Again, I'm creating the very pointy elements right here. If you don't want to create pointy little shapes right here, you are welcome to go and soften them up and create something different right here. Let's also go and recreate this little bra right here. When we have it, let's just go over the top and let's recreate the rest of the elements. We also have this line right here. We don't want to maybe recreate it the same way, so we can just go and elongate these parts right here and follow this line that we have right here for our head. Just going like that and creating the different line right here over the top. Going toward the opposite side and doing the same thing. First elongating the shape that we have right here for the antler and then just going and recreating the line just by following this line that we have right here. Generally, we are following the same line that we have onto our skege but we are just moving it a little bit down. Now, let's just work onto the connection right here and then let's move on to our little fringe. Let's go and create this first hook right here going down, going a little bit towards the sheet that we have right here for our glasses. You can hold your line at the end and go and continue creating the shape right here over the let's just go a little bit lower than the shape that we have right here and let's just go and create some kind of a sausage part right here. We will be just going there and creating it in a wavy way. So just go in there, connecting it nicely, creating a nice outline. Don't try to create some bumps right here, just go and soften them up. When you have this first part, you also can go and straightaway erase this part that you don't need as are part of the glasses. So just go with your eraser and erase it, try to make a nice connection, try to create something that is looking quite good. And when we have this first element, let's just go and continue creating our fringe just by going over the top firstly and creating this peculiar shape right here. Try it out a couple of times, and it's also good to maybe zoom out your canvas just a little bit so it will be easier for you to create the smooth curve right here and to avoid this very blotchy effect right here. Let's just go and create this first shape, try it out a couple of times. Let's just go with a little bit of curvy shape right here. If it's not happening from the first try, try it out one more time or a couple of times. Just create something that you would like to see here. When you have this first element, let's just go and create the bottom part. Let's just go and repeat the similar shape right here. Let's just go and connect it nicely, go a little bit beyond the frames that you have right here. Again, try it out a couple of times if you want to. The part that we have right here on the bottom should be a little bit narrower than the shape that we have on the top. Let's just go and spend some time here and adjust it to our liking and create something going in that way. Connect the overall shape nicely and if you want to work more on the sp, go and do that. Try to erase everything that we don't need here. If you need to go with your erasa and maybe erase some parts or maybe just go and make this part where we have the connection a little bit less protruding, you are welcome to go and do that. Let's just go and create something in that way and we also will go and erase the overlapping parts with our glasses. Again, very accurately, just continue to create our line right here, going with the flow and erasing the peculiar shape that we don't need. Trying to create an even line, and when we have the results like that, let's just go and recreate these elements that we have right here for our additional parts of the scarf. Just go in there and recreate our little scarf element, just go with our soft brush, just going with the peculiar shapes on the bottom. If you want, you can go with a different shape. You can overlap the coat with the loose parts if you want. And also, let's just go and create this little fluffy part. So again, let's just go with wavy shape. Let's overly make it some kind of rounded chip, but we will go with wavy line, so we will have some kind of the fluff bowl right here. Let's just go and erase this overlapping line. So very easily just working onto the oral sheep, trying to create a nice connection right here where we just erasing our parts, taking a look at everything from the distance, and let's just go and work onto our hair that we have just left. So Let's just go to this little part, and again, nicely connected with the first shape that you have right here. Try to make a nice and full shape right here on the bottom. We are creating a bigger shape right here, creating a nice rounded element. If you want to hold it at the end and go to the 18 mode, you are welcome to go and do that. Make a nice connection right here on the top. When we have it, let's just go to the bottom and again create our strength right here. The repeat what you have onto your layer with the sketch or try to create something different. Go with the curse instead of the straight line so it will have a nicer overall look. Let's also go and vary the amount of the peculiar shapes that we have right here. You can just go and maybe try to create something like that. Try to overall create the rounded shape over the bottom, if you have something going in that way, try to avoid connecting the parts in that way. You can either go a little bit higher or a little bit lower so you don't have a weird connection between the parts that are not supposed to be connected. So let's just work a little bit more onto this part and create something different, maybe maybe going and creating this part a little bit bigger, creating a nice strength and creating a nice connection right here that won't look very weird. Probably we will just need to go and create this curve alto bits in a more curved way and create something in that way closer to this first shape that we have right here near our body. Let's work on the connections. Let's work onto the corners right here. Let's make them nice. If you want to go and maybe work with your brush, instead of the eraser, you are welcome to go and do that. Work on this connection right here to make them connected in a nice way too, when you are done, let's continue by going firstly right here and connecting our shape. Again, trying to avoid creating the lines straightly going to other lines that we already have on our screen. Then let's just go again to this part and let's just go and create our little shapes right here. Again, if you want, you can hold your line at the ends. Try to create nice curves if you are creating a curve and if you are holding it at the end and it is not snapping to a curve, but it is snapping to a straight line. You can try it out one more time, or you can just try to go to the eting mode and probably you will have the option arc here that you can select from there and just use it from the editing modes. So now when we have the overall look, let's again, take a look at everything from the distance or if you want, you can just go with a closer view and work onto the connections right here. Let's just go and make nice connections on the corners. Just go with your eraser and with your brush. Make sure that everything is closed. So to do that, let's first go to Ayers, and let's just hide Ayer with the sketch. Let's take a look at everything and make sure that everything is closed. When you are sure that everything is closed and when you are sure that everything is nice and smooth and you don't want to change any let's just move on to our next part where we are going to be aging the base colors. 5. Base Colors: Let's begin this part firstly by going to our layers, we will select this layer where we have our lines, we will tap on it and this time we will choose reference. That will help us to use these lines that we have onto this layer and end the colors on separate layers. Let's select it as reference. Let's just go underneath the lay and let's create one more layer from here. Now when we have this layer selected, let's just go to our color palettes and let's select the skin color. With the skin color, we will go and recreate everything that belongs to our skin. So everything, our mouth, our additional elements right here beneath our little glasses. To make sure that you recolored everything, we can just go to our layers and hide our layer with the background, just for a second, make sure that everything is recolored and then get this layer back. Now when we recolor this, let's go and create one more lay on top and let's just go and start picking a different color. Let's just go with the color of the hair. With the color of the hair, we will just go and recolor the hair. Let's just go to all of the elements that we have for our hair, and let's just go and recolor everything that we have right here. We also with this color can go to the ears and recolor them too. Make sure that you recolor everything that belongs to these little parts, and when you are done, let's just go to our least one more time, create one more layer on top and let's just go to our color palette and let's go with this red color. With this red color, we will go and tricolor our little bows right here on the top. We will go and tricolor our scarf. And if you want to recolor something else with this color, you are welcome to go and do that. But basically, let's just go again to our les. Let's create one more layer on top, and let's just go and recolor our coat. So let's again go with the color of the hair right here. So we would be just going to this part that we have right here for our coat. And when we have it, we will go again to our list, we will create one more layer on top. We will go again to our color palette and select the color of the skin. With this color, we will go recolor this little part right here on the bottom, and also we will just need to go and recolor these little fluffy parts right here onto our code to make it very easily, we can just go to our layers. We will go back to the layer where we have our code. We'll tap on the lay and we will choose the option select. Now only these areas are selected, so we will be just going back to our list, go into this layer where we've recolored this bottom part. We can go to our brush library, and for example, we can select the studio pen brush, and very easily we will be just going to this little part and with our brush very accurately just go and recoloring this part. Go closer to these parts that you have right here, work on the oral sheep that you would like to see here, go else beyond the frames or if you want to go straightly to this line that you have right here, you are welcome to go and do that. So when you have something going in that way, do the same on the opposite side too. Try to make it even on both sides, and when you are done, let's deselect everything by hitting our S ribbon icon. Now, with the same color, we will go and recolor this little fluffy part right here onto our coat. Then let's again go back to our list. Let's create one more layer on top with the same color. We will be just going to the legs and we will be recoloring them too. We will recolor these two parts right here, so the top part and this part right here between our boots and our little socks right here. When we have the result like that, let's get back to our list. Let's create one more leader. We will go and select the color with the title brown, and with this color, we will go tr color what we have right here for our boots. We will also go entry color our little shapes that we have for our arms, and with the same color, we will go entry color our antlers. So now when we have something going in that way, the one thing that we will need to add as the basic colors, we will be just going and recoloring this part that we have right here for our mouth. Let's just get back to our list and either go to the same layer where you have everything that belongs to the fish or just go up and create one more layer from here. When we have the new layer, let's just go and select the soft pink color, and we will be just going there and putting the color right here to our mouth. So now we are done with our basic colors. So let's move on to our next part where we are going to be adding the beautification in shape of the shadows and everything like that. 6. Shadows: Let's begin this part firstly by going to our layers, and we will go to this layer where we have our reference on, we'll tap on it, and we will turn it off by tapping it from our list. When mediate while we are still here, let's go and create one more layer above. We'll tap on this layer and we will choose clipping mask. That way, we'll be using only the elements that we have on our previous layer to add new elements on. So we will be just going and working on our little shapes for the eye. Let's just go and add some beautification straightaway. Let's do it on both sides evenly. Let's just tap on this lay and let's select a drone assist, and then we will just go into our color palette and let's just go either with pink lines color or he dark shadow. You can try out one of these colors. They are pretty similar to one another. Let's just go to the bottom part of our eyes, and let's just go and create the shape like that. You can go with a rounder shape, so you can just go to the eating mode and adjust the curvature of this element, try to make it nice and even on both sides of one of the eye. When you are done with this task, let's just go and manually recolor the rest of the area. Now when we hand the result like that, you can see that maybe it's too bright, so we can just go back to our list. We can tap on this icon on the lay and adjust the opacity to the level that we would like to see here. When we are done with this task, let's just tap on the layer. Let's turn off our drawing assist. We don't need it here. We'll be just going to the bottom and we will be starting to add some shadows here. Firstly, let's just go right here to our layer where we have our fs. Let's create one more layer on the top. Let's tap on the layer. Let's select our clipping mask. Let's go to our color palettes and let's select the here shadow color. We will be using it right here onto the top first, so we will be just going there and creating the shadow going like that. Go there and create a shadow underneath the shape that is supposed to be a volume for the hair. When we have it, we will go to the opposite side and we will put a little shadow right here so you can just go and either repeat the shape that you have right here for your hair or just go alone and just create a shadow going in some kind of that way. When we have it, we can see that we will need to add the shadow right here. Let's just go and add just a little shadow that will be repeating the overall shape of the strength that we have right here for our shape that we have for our fringe. When we did it, we can definitely say that this shadow is too bright. We will be just going again to our last, going to this and icon and adjusting the opacity. Just go with something around maybe 40, 45%. When we are done, let's just go to this little part where we have our mouth. Actually, let's not create an additional layer here. Let's do the additional work that we need to do here Ota the same layer. To do that very accurately, we can just tap on the layer and choose our Alpha lock and we will be adding the additional elements only on the areas that we already have Ota this layer. So when it is selected, we will go again to our either pink lines color or hair shadow color, something not too dark, and we will be just going over the top and we will be just going there and creating this little part like that. When we have it, let's just take a look at it from the distance, decide whether we are liking the result. If you think that it is too bland, you are welcome to go to the color palettes and maybe select some other color and try to do it one more time. Probably this darkish color works a little bit better, try to create a similar curve that you had before. And when you hand the result like that, let's go again to our layers, and let's just go back to this layer where we have our fas and let's create one more layer here. We will use our normal blending modes, and we will go to our brush library, and we will switch our brush to the airbrush and folder soft blend brush. When we did it, we will get back to our less. We will tap on the lay and we will choose our drawn as, so we will be doing it on both sides evenly. And we will be going to our color palettes, and we can just start with soft pink color or you can just go straight away with the red color. Let's just go and set the opacity of something around 20% for this brush, and we will be just adjusting the size of our brush, going underneath the eyes, and very, very softly. We'll be just going and edding the checks here. So very, very softly, just start adding these elements, take a look at it from the distance. If you feel that maybe it's too much or if the color is not right, you are welcome to go to the adjustments, use saturation and brightness and maybe adjust the saturation here or brightness here so you can just play around with these elements and adjust it to your liking. When you are satisfied with it, you are welcome to tap on the adjustments one more time. And let's again, get back to our brush library. We'll get back to our inkin folder. We will choose either a studio pen brush or a technical pen. So select the brush, and let's just go inside these sheets. Let's adjust the size of our brush, and let's just go and add little lines like that. If it is too bright, you are welcome to go and adjust the opacity of the brush to something around maybe 45% or so. And let's just go and add these peculiar lines here. Just try to make them a little bit less visible maybe and maybe in a different shape. So you can just try it out a couple of times. So they are looking nice overall onto this shape that you are creating. When you are done with this task, let's get back our full opacity and let's go and start edging the other details. So let's just get back to our list and let's just start working with our here. For the hair, firstly, let's just go and add additional color. So we'll be just going and creating one more layer on top, tapping on the lace, selecting our clipping mask, going back to our brush library. We'll go again to our airbrush and folder, soft blend brush, and we will go with the soft pink color. Let's adjust the size of our brush to something very, very big and very, very softly. We will be going to the bottom and we will be adding some kind of a gradient here. We don't want to see the harsh transition between the colors. So we're just working very, very softly and with the same brush and with the same color, let's just go to the inside parts of our little ears, and we will be adding this blush right here, too. If you want to go some other areas, maybe to the bottom part of the fringe right here, you are welcome to go and do that. Just try to make very, very soft connections and soft transitions between the colors. When we have the result like that, when you are satisfied with everything here, let's just get back to our brush library. Let's just go again to our ink in folder and select our previous studio pen brush or technical pen brush. When we're done with it, let's just get back to our layers. Let's just tap on our plus icon crete and you layer on top, top on this layer, select our clipping mask. Let's go to our color palettes and let's start creating the shadows with the hair shadow color. With this color, let's first go to the bottom and let's start creating the big strength right here with this color. Go into the second one or a little bit closer to the edge and just go in there and creating a nice curve right here. If you want to create the smooth lines, you can get back to the technical pen brush and start working with it. To adjust the size of the brush, try to create it in a natural way. The overall shape that you have right here, go underneath the shape that you have right here for the fringe part or for the front part of the fringe. Let's just go and close the shape, and we'll be just going and creating the shadow going in that way. Make sure that the shape is closed and when you are done, just drag and drop the color to this area. Let's take a look at it from the distance. Is it looking natural right here? If it is, we are going to the opposite side and trying to create something similar here too. Again, just starting by creating a first curve, going to the bottom. If it's not happening from the first try, try it out one more time. Close the shape just by going manually and then add the color inside. Try to make nice connections right here where you have the other shapes, and when you have something going in that way, let's also go toward the other areas and add some peculiar shapes here too. For example, we can just go to some of the strengths and go with peculiar shapes of some little dots or some little lines like that. Just try to go with the shapes that will be soft and rounded, not just straight elements, just go in there and add a couple of little lines like that. When we are done, let's go to this part that we have right here for our little shape of the volume and we will add the shadow here too. Just go on and completely putting it in the shadow. When we did it, let's go to the ear right here and we will be just going and adding a little shadow, more of a difference in the color between the shape of our hair and our little ears right here. Just go on there, creating soft shadow like that, go on to the opposite side and creating another shape right here. If you want, you can go a little bit higher and create it in a bigger way like that. Then when we are done, we also will need to go underneath the sheet that we have right here for our little bow and just repeat it right here on the here. Let's just go and do that. When you are done, go into this little part right here and adding a bit of shadow here too. You can just go and follow the direction that we have right here for the here. Just create something going in that way. If you did it, you are always welcome to go grab your eraser and work more on the oral shape so it will look nice and smooth. When you are done with this task, going again toward our little bore right here and adding the second shadow right here too. Something similar to what you have on the opposite side. Onto this side, we can go with a bit of the bigger shadow, and we can just continue creating the shadow right here on the top just by going with a little curve like that. Let's add the color inside and then when we have this curve, connect it nicely with the overall shape right here and let's move on to our ear and let's add a shadow here too. Just go on mostly toward the top part where we have these shapes that we have on the top that are overlapping and adding the shadows to our little elements right here in the shape of the ears and just adding our little shadow right here. Take a look to the ear and maybe decide to add just a slide shadow right here on the bottom, so we will have a nice look. And when we have the results like that, let's continue by going toward this side onto our right. And firstly, we'll just go to this little peculiar shape that we have right here for our shape that we have for our fringe, and we'll be just going there and adding little shadows here. You can also go underneath this little line and add a peculiar shadow right here. So mostly we are adding the shadows toward the bottom parts and toward the parts that are some kind of overlap on the so now when we have something going in that way, let's go underneath the ear right here and add a little shadow here. We also can go right here to this little part and make some kind of a separation right here and add the little strength with the shadow part. You are always welcome to go back to the eraser and work on the oral shape of the shadows that you are creating. Try to make nice connections here to try to avoid having some kind of little gaps again. So just go in there and create something similar to what we had before. So the attitude is the same. And when we have something like that, let's go take a look at riffin and decide whether we want to add so shadow right here onto this little part. If you want to do that, let's just go and do that. You can go and work with the rounder shape, connect them nicely with the shape that you have for your overall shape of the here. And when you have the results like that, let's again go back to our layers, and let's create one more layer on top. Let's tap on this layer. Let's select again, our clipping mask, and let's just get back to our color palettes and select this dark shadow color. Here, dark shadow. When we have it, we will go toward these parts that we have right here. We can also go to this little part and put this part in the shadow. So let's just start from here, and then we'll be just going closer to the body, and we will be eating the second color right here for our shadow. Again, create a nice strand, try to make it natural, close the shape, dragon drop the color inside. Take a look at it from the distance. If you need to maybe thin this shape up on the top, you are welcome to grab your eraser and work on it, and let's just go and do the same on the opposite side too. Again, let's just go and maybe put these complete part in shadow, and we'll be just going again to the top, closing up the shape, and dragging and dropping the color inside. Again, take a look at everything from the distance, decide whether you want to maybe adjust it in any way, work with your brush, work with your eraser, when you have the result that you like, let's go to some other places and let's add bigger shadows with these shapes. Let's just go toward this little part. Let's just go and create the shadow here. Mostly, we are just going and repeating the overall shade that we have right here for this strength. If you want to go to the other areas and add the shadows with this darker color, you are welcome to go and do that. Go and put this little part in shadow or this little part completely in shadow, so it's up to you what you want to do with this additional elements. So play around with the shapes. If you want, you also can go and maybe add some texture parts, you are welcome to go and do something similar to what you have right here with the color that you used before. When you are done with this task, we are done with our shadows. Let's just go and maybe take a look at Araf one more time and decide whether you want to add more additional elements with either the previous color or with this color, some texture parts. If you want to do that, you are welcome to get back to the layers, go to the previous layer, go to the previous color and add some textural elements to some of the places just to add some interest to the picture. Let's just spend some time here and adjust these little parts if we want to. Very easily going and adding some peculiar little shapes just to add some interest. When you are done with this, let's just go to our layers and let's just go and start eating the shadows to other elements. Let's just go to the next layer where we have our additional elements. This is our red layer. So let's just go and create one more layer on top. Let's tap on the layer. Let's select our clipping mask, and let's just go and select the different colors. So we can just go with the same red color, but we'll just go and choosing a different blending mode for this layer so everything will look nicer. Let's just go to the N icon, and let's just go and select multiply blending mode. And for the opacity, let's go for now with something around 50%. When we did it, let's first go to our main part of the scarf. Let's start by creating a little shape like that. Let's go and manually recolor these parts, just go in there, finding what we are looking for right here, just creating something going in that way. When we are done, going toward this little part right here, going underneath this little part and just creating additional shadows in that way. If you want to go maybe with different parts with different shapes, you are welcome to go and do that. If you want, we also can go toward these little parts right here onto the bows and add the color here. We also can go to one of the sides. For example, right here on the right, we are repeating what we have as our main shadow, just adding the shadows to the same places, but on our bow. So just go in there, adding these additional shadows. If you want to go to the opposite side, let's first go and recolor these little parts right here inside. Then we also can go and end the shadows right here on the bottom part. If you feel that maybe this color is not working, maybe it's too bright, you are always welcome to get back to the saturation and brightness and adjust the color right here. You can work with the brightness, you can work with saturation. You can work either with the hue. You can just spend some time here and adjust something in a way that you would like to see it. When you are satisfied with everything here, let's just go away from our adjustment and let's just get back to our layer. Let's go to our next layer, which is our layer with the coat. Let's create one more layer on top. Let's tap on the layer. Let's select our clipping mask, and let's just go and add additional color to the bottom. Again, we can just go with our soft pink color or if you want you can go with the red color, just select one of the colors, and let's just go again to our air brush and soft blend brush. Let's just go toward the bottom, and let's just add a bit of the difference in a color right here on the bottom. Very softly just adding a bit of the color right here, trying to avoid very straight connections, very straight transitions, just trying to make everything very, very soft. You are done with this task, if you feel that maybe you over did it, you are welcome to go to the layers, go to the N icon and adjust the opacity from here. When you are done, let's just tap on the plus icon, create new layer, clipping mask, going back to our brush library, going again to our ink in folder, selecting either our technical pen or studio pan brush, and let's just go and add this little shadow right here. Let's again go with the soft pink color or hair shadow colors, select one of these colors and let's just go and start adding the shadow first underneath our little sheade that we have right here for our scar. When we have it, let's just go and edit right here underneath the scarf on the bottom too. Just go in there and repeat in the shape that we have right here for this additional part. If you overdid it, just go grab your eraser and work onto this part. A shadow right here to underneath the scarf then let's just go toward the opposite side toward the right part, and let's just go with a big shadow like that. Hold it at the end the first curve that you are creating right here, and then let's just go and manually add the color to the bottom part. Just go on with a brush adding the color, going toward the bottom part two, trying to make no little gaps, the miscolord places right here. When we have this first curve, let's just go toward this part that we have right here and let's just go and add a little shadow to the rea. Just go in there toward this little part toward the sleeve and just creating a little curve right here. Let's add the shadow manually, and let's work on the overall shape of it just with our erasa. Let's make a nice connection with the first shape that we have right here. If you want you also can go with the same brush and with the same color right here to the sleeve on the opposite side and add it right here. If you think that maybe the opacity of this layer is too much, you are welcome to go to the icon and play around with it. If you want to try out the multiply blending mode, you can go and do that. Probably it looks better. You can just go and set it to something around 40, 45%. When you are done, let's continue by going to our next layer, which is our whitish layer right here. Let's create one more layer on top, tap on it like clipping mask. Straightaway, if you like it, you can go and select multiply blending mode, set the apacty to something around 35, 40%, use the color of your choice. You can go with the same color that you are in right now or switch it to something different. Let's just go and continue creating the shadow right here onto our bottom part of the coat. Let's just go a little bit closer to the edge with our first curve and let's just go and put this part completely in the shadow. Try to create no gaps right here, so just zoom in your canvas and try to make nice connections within the sheep. When you have it, let's just go toward this little part right here and let's just emphasize our little flacky part right here, so we'll be just going with rounded shapes, rounded wavy elements and dragon dropping the color when we are ready. If you want to maybe refine the edges right here, you are welcome to go grab your eraser, work with your erasa onto these little parts. When you are done, go to the opposite side and do the same thing here. So just going toward these parts, edging the wavy lines, looping the shape around, dragging and dropping the color inside. If you want to work with your eraser, you are welcome to go and do that. On the same layer, we have this fluffy part right here. So again, just go in with a wavy line, edging the color inside. If it's recoloring everything. You know what you need to do. You just need to refine the line, make sure that you don't have any gaps, and then just drag and drop the color inside. Now when we hand the result like that, let's continue by going to our layers, going into our layer with our legs, creating one more layer on top topping, selecting our clipping mask. And icon, if you want to use multiply blending mode, you are welcome to use it. You can set the same amount of opacity that you used for your previously where you have these whitish shadows. So with the same color, let's just go toward the bottom parts. So we will go toward our little legs and we'll be creating these pecular shadows like that. Let's just go with the very diagonal line like that. You can go with a bigger shape or with a smaller shape. If you think that maybe you want to try out more opacity right here, you are welcome to go and find the opacity that works for you. When you are done, let's go again to our less. Let's go to our last layer with these peculiar shapes. Let's create one more layer on top, tap on it, let clip in mask, tap on the N icon, multiply blending mode. Let's go with something around 50% of opacity this time and let's just go to our color palettes and select either the same brown color or any other darkish color. Let's just go toward the bottom firstly, we will go and create the shadows here. Just go and repeating the shape that we have right here, going toward the other elements and continue creating the shadows right here just as a continuation of the overall shadow that we've created on our sleeve. Just go with the rounded shape and when you have it, let's just go to our antlers and let's add the shadows here too. Let's just go first over our right part. We will go toward the bottom and we'll be just going and overly repeating the shape that we have right here, looping the shape around, dragging and dropping the color inside. Then we'll be going toward this part right here over the top and adding a nice shadow right here. If you want, you also can go to the bottom parts right here on the inside parts of the antlers and the shadows here. If you don't want to do that, let's move on to the opposite side, and let's start from this little parts and doing mostly the same thing as we did on the opposite side. Creating the first curve in a wavy line and creating the shadow just by looping the overall shape around and just dropping the color inside. 7. Final Touches: We have the results like that, we are almost done. All that we need to do right now is to go above all the layers that we have right here and we'll be creating one more layer here. Let's go to our color palette and let's select the white color. And with the white color, we will be going and adding some little highlights. Firstly, let's just go toward our eyes. We will go toward the top part and we will be just going and putting the dots right here just to create little shapes for our highlights. Go with a bigger shape or with a smaller shape, create a circle right here on one eye, so you can just go and do this same thing that you did before. So just create a curve. You can go with a technical pen or if you want, you can go to the Caligraphy folder and select Monoline brush. It will be easier for you to just go and put the dot like that on both eyes. When you have it, let's just get back to our previous brush, so inking folder, our technical pen, or studio pan brush if you want. We also can try out to use the syrup brush because now we are going to be working with our hair. And serum brush will be a nice touch here. So now let's just go with this brush, and we'll be going towards here and we'll be going mostly toward the opposite sides where we have our shadows and we'll be adding little dots for our highlights. You can just go and create something like that. You can go to some other areas and just try to create a few highlights, a few shapes with these little peculiar shape. Just go all over the here and add a few of these dots, a few of the highlights, go in there and adding a few of the sparkly elements towards our little here. Adjust it if you want to just go and create something that you would like to see here. When you are done with this task, let's also go to some other areas. So for example, we can go to the ears and add some peculiar shapes here too and go to the little bows that we have here, add some sparkles. Add in some peculiar shapes right here toward our little elements that we have right here. And also, if you want you can go and maybe create some little dots closer to the elements that you have right here outside. For example, to the antlers, you can go toward the bows right here, go toward the opposite sides where you have your little shadows and add the highlights in that way. You can do it on both sides. You can just go and create something in that way. So just play around and add a few of these little highlights in the shape of the dots and maybe some little lines. Just go and try not to overdid. If you want to go to some other places, you are welcome to date. For example, you can add some sparkles to the coat and to the scarf. When you are done with this task, all that we need to do to achieve a complete look of our illustration is to go and recolor some of the lines. Let's just go to our layers. Let's just go above our layer where we've created these little elements for our eyes, and let's create one more layer here. Let's tap on the lay. Let's select our clipping mask, and let's first go toward our color palettes and let's select here dark shadow color. We'll start by working on our here. So we'll be just going inside the shapes and we'll be recoloring our lines right here. Just go all over the lines that are inside the shapes and start recoloring all of these lines. You can use this brush that you are using right now, the syrup brush, or if it's easier for you you can just get back to the previous brush that you were using. So just go there and recolor the rest of the elements all by yourself. When you have some places where the hair, for example, is meeting the shape of the head, you are welcome to create some peculiar connections right here or just try to elongate the line so it looks natural. Let's just go and recolor all of these lines. At some of the places, you can switch your brush color to the hair shadow color. So for example, you tried out to create the outlines right here, but it is the same color that you have for the shadow. You are welcome to try out to create these peculiar shadows that you are creating right now, the peculiar colors for the lines with a softer color. So when you have created something going in that way, just take a look at it from the distance and decide whether you want to switch the color or not. Let's just go to these little places right here inside the years two with a darkish color, and let's just go and recolor them too. With the same color, let's also go to these little places right here and let's recolor them, and we will do it on both sides. When you are done with this task, let's go toward this little part that we have right here, and we will recolor this line too. Again, just try to work on the connection between the shapes that you are recoloring. So if you have some nice connection right here, that will be a little bit better. Try to create it on both sides evenly and make nice connections. When you are done with the same color, let's just go and recolor our mouth. And also, let's just go and recolor these little please that we have right here for this fluffy element. If you did something, you are welcome to go grab your eraser and work onto the lines. Try to make the lines nicely. And when you have the results like that, let's also go and recolor these little lines that we have right here onto our socks. Let's just get back to our red color right here and just go and recolor this little part right here with this color. Or if you want you can try out this pink lines color or dark red lines color. Just select the color and let's just go and try it out onto our illustration. This doesn't look very right, so we can just go and switch it to pink lines and recolor this little part with this color here. If you recolored something and you don't like the result, you are welcome to go to the Ribbon icon, free hands method. Just select these elements that you want to recolor. So for example, the straps right here and let's just go to our adjustments, hue saturation and brightness and maybe play around with these elements. You can just go and create them in a more saturated way or in a different color. So play around with it, and when you are done, just tap on the first icon that you were using and it was our ribbon icon. When we hand the result like that, if you want to recolor some other areas, you can go again to the dark red lines, for example, and maybe work onto these little lines right here onto our little scarf. You can just go all over them and very accurately recolor them. Let's just go and very quickly do that. Then when we are done with this task, we will be going and creating a few more additional elements. You also can go inside these little parts right here on the bows and add this reddish color right here. Now when we have the results like that, let's go and add a few more additional elements on our scarf. Let's just go toward our layers and either let's just go to the same layer where we have these peculiar little sparkles or create just one layer on top. Let's just go and add some little stars, for example. You can go to the Project restor app and download the folder with the stem brushes and use them right here on these little parts. So for example, let's just go to this folder UniSA brushes, and let's just go and select some star brush right here. We will be just using the white color, and we'll be just going toward this little scarf that we have right here. We'll be rotating our canvas and we'll be just putting our little stars onto the scarf. Let's just go and add a couple of these little elements to the scarf. If you feel that the very small amount of the brush is too much, you are welcome to go back to the brush library, tap on this brush, go inside the properties right here and adjust the minimum size of the brush right here. And then try it out one more time onto your scarf. Try not to overdo it, add a few of these elements. If you want to maybe erase some parts, if you overdid it, you are welcome to grab an eraser and erase them. If you want to go outside the sheep and maybe add some additional elements here, you are welcome to use this folder with the brushes and maybe go with some sparkles right here. You are also welcome to switch the folder and check out the other brushes that you download it. So if you want to add some additional elements outside the shapes, you are welcome to go and do that. Use the colors that you already have inside your folder and just go and add a few of the additional elements outside the shape. And when you are done with this task, the very last thing that we need to do is to go to our range icon Canvas, and we will toggle drawing guides to see clearly what we have for our illustration. And if you like the result and if you don't want to adjust anything here, we are done with our illustration. Thank you for watching this class. Let review if you liked it, and can tine subscribing for Mirkawi videos in the future. Looking forward to seeing your projects.
