1. WELCOME BACK :): Have you ever observed roses? And it's my new details. Fes, you must be knowing. It's one of the most beautiful and delegates laws. The variation of colors that have undergone drastic creates with the leaves in the background as just amazing waters. You can paint your own watercolor roses with some easy techniques with me. Hey everybody, welcome back to my new class. Myself, protect. But again, I'm a self-taught independent artist based in India. I'm also a professional interior designer. So people who might not be knowing me and had Jain me recently can find most of my art blogs mean displayed on Instagram. I go by the name should transplantations. So in this class we'll be talking about all the materials that you will be using my painting. So we'll be starting with an initial sketch before applying watercolors. I'll be giving you all the details about the colors that we are going to use. We're going to talk about the Gullah values and how you are going to apply it to your final painting. You'll be learning and having a nice practice session about how to hold your brush. Making a nice, dense foliage around your watercolor rose is no need to worry. I'll be also giving you a nice brief about how you can draw your watercolor leaves around your watercolor roses. Also, it's very important to add my new details so that you are painting becomes even more attractive. So we'll be also talking about how you can apply nice details in jail painting. We are going to paint two beautiful paintings with two different colored roses. Word the paintings won't take you more than 10 minutes to paint. 2. ART SUPPLIES: Before we start with, our paintings, will be needing certain art supplies. Let me give you a basic belief about the materials that you will be needing. No need to worry. If you're missing on any particular material, you'll find it easily on any nearby local stationery. Now let me talk about the handy things caused. So this is a light pen from Sakura Gelly Roll. You'll find it on any nearby local stationery or you can use any other would alternate it for white men. Then assemble Benson, which I hope that everyone would be having. And we are going to use our single brush, which is our round brush size to edit. Now, the major thing, which is our watercolors. So the watercolors that I'm using are from Gusto. These are artist grade watercolors. But if you are a beginner, you can definitely use student's grade watercolors as well. Now, this is my mixing palette. Basically. It has a very nice organising palate. So if you do not have a mixing blade, you can use a simple ceramic data as well. Sorry if it is a little bit dirty. So there's a simple spray bottle which we'll be using to loosen up the colors. Now, I'm having two jars basically with water. One is a bigger jar and one is smaller in size. Now, let us talk about the type of watercolor paper that we are going to use. It is very important that you use good-quality watercolor paper. So we are going to paint basically two roses having to various colors. Now this is if I cheat and watercolor paper is 300 GSM from ganzen. If you want to see the details, let me show you. It is not necessary that you use the same brand. You can go for any adult with alternating. The important thing here is that it should be 300 GSM. So I basically keep experimenting on different types of paper. And these are all the materials that you will be requiring for this particular class.
3. LETS PRACTICE FIRST: Hey everybody. So before we start our final painting, let me take you towards a simple exercise that you can practice and become a role in painting watercolor, lose roses. So here I have a rough scrape off paper on which I had drawn through your arm circles. And you can see doodles is just about the third circle which are being practiced. The first one is a little bit of Ophelia, but the second one was quite good. So now we'll be painting or ninth ultra marine growth so that you know how you have to practice. Initially, you have to take our darker patch of ultramarine, having less water in your brush and make us humble patch to check whether it is correct or not. Just in the left side which I had done. Now take your brush and start putting it in a way I'm rotating in the center portion of the circle being drawn. Now, after giving the darker dawns in the center portion, we had just simply cleaned up the brush and we are having a little bit of water in our brush. And you have to repeat the same process. Just give this circular movement around the darker values. So you can observe how nice the depth has come. Make sure that you do not have access amount of water in your brush. Otherwise, it will definitely spoil your roles. As you can see, the fast one has been done that way. I had drawn it specifically to show you the mistakes that generally people make. So now let me take you towards the leaves that we are going to paint. The eye basically having two values of green. One is darker and another one is lighter. As you can see. I just made two batches and the ABA abortions or that you know, how the values are willing to work for in the color palette, mix it well, and start to draw the leaves as I'm doing. So you can observe you just made two strokes. And this is how you have to paint. The leaves. Have a very nice and steady control on your brush. You can practice this n number of times. I'm just doing it to time so that you know how you have to paint it. Now similarly, we have to paint the leaves with lighter tone. The method is same. You just have to make two simple strokes. And at the end you can just leave ten tip. So that believe looks pretty much perfect. So I hope that you want an idea, have you how to paint your names. Now if you have absorbed floral plants are many shrubs very carefully. There are these small branches coming out of leaves and stem. So that looks really nice when we detail out the painting. So herders, simple tutorial for you. The first one is drawn in a lighter manner, and the second one is with darker tone of green. So you just have to use the tip of your brush and you can make these rough random strokes very easily so that it gives a nice grungy look. Now, let me take all the three elements together and show you how we are going to paint it in the final painting. So the first one is the rules that we had practiced. That third one, as you can see, which is our ultra marine rows. I'm just simply repeating the process which I told you. Now after that, we are going to paint the leaves around it. Now you can see that we are painting the leaves in new needed actions. The one which we have practiced as a one-directional. You can cactus it in many directions. Now with leaves only you can simultaneously and these small branches giving thin strokes with your round brush. The ones that we did in last. So as you can see, we have to just randomly give these strokes with the pointed edge. So this is just a symbol example how you can put all the three elements together from roses to lead and to adding the branches in the last time, just labeling the portions out so that you get a clear idea. So the last clause, which we've painted with alternating was your practice. And the other one was trial, which I did. I had just drawn q elements to show you how you can practice. You can take a rough scrape off paper or any waste people that you are not using R, which has been used in one side only. And you can practice all the three elements. And I would also wasn't really recommend you that practice the elements first and then start your final painting. That would help you very much in getting good result. Make sure that you have right capacity of mortal in your brush. Don't have too much of water in your brush also. And that would definitely spoil your painting. And it is good to make mistakes. No need to worry. You can just chill and practice it in a calm manner. And also let me know that you enjoyed the backtest session or not. 4. PAINTING 1 - VIBRANT RED ROSES: Hey everybody. So now we're going to start with our forest painting, which is vibrant credentials is. So now let me give you a basic brief amount of painting. We are going to paint two beautiful vibrant red roses. Let's leave that down so that we get a nice foliage and certain branches giving rough strokes so that you're painting becomes even more attractive. I'm just drawing teardrop circle so that I get a nice idea where we are going to paint. Roses paused. So it is an A5 sheet and the watercolor paper that I'm using are from Kansan and these are 300 GSM cold pressed papers. Now from these two circles, I get the idea of painting the roses. So now the colors that we are going to use, our law million or trauma in light green and sap green. No need to worry if you do not have colors from the same brand, you can go for any other good alternative. So now here I have my color palette and I'm having sudden darker values are enforced. So we're going to start with the center of our circle. Be very careful and have a nice control on your brush. Draw very slowly. And just try to make these little liberals or colors and strokes together. In the center portion, as you can see, dab your brush a little bit when you come towards the outside. So as you can see that we are getting a nice increase in the diameter. So now once you are done with the darker values, you have to just do it in a little bit of the center portion. I had just simply cleaned up my brush and we are tapping it on a clot or you can use our tissue napkin and you have to repeat the same process. Now this time you are having lighter values of 1 million. And that tomb was just water and just got legs up. That doesn't proportion. Now again, the method is same. You just have to mean those alkali moment. But this time these are a little bit larger than the center portion. Hold the brush very carefully and make these little strokes. If you want to add a little bit of NACA values in the center abortion, you can definitely do that. So you can see that we are almost done with the fourth rows and it looks really beautiful. Now so that you'll get a nice idea. Again. I'm just doing those rows for you and are little bit zoned and manner. So you can see that again, we are just taking DACA values of 1 million and we had just given these simple strokes in the center abortion. Now after doing that, I had just simply cleaned up my brush and we are moving the brush again. And the outer portion, leaving the things talks from but in a lighter tone. So we are done with the roses. Now we'll be starting with the thymine, just taking thoughts on lighter values of green forest. Make sure that you do not have access amount of water in your brush. Matte will definitely is while you're painting. So we are going to draw the branches around the rules forced with our pencil. So that you get a nice idea. You can do that in a random way also, but it is always good to draw with pencil falls and then apply your paint on it. So as you can see, I'm just giving these a rough branches and a very random manner that isn't a particular method. And it is also not necessary that you draw that same. You can go for your particular thing also. For now, I'm just taking my brush and we are using it tip as you can see, we do not want a tick grant. We are willing to have 1000 branches. So you just have to simply give those strokes on the pencil line, which we just now repeat the same method as I'm doing. I've seen many people painting florals using different and various types of brushes. But I believe that, that is no need to use videos and different types of expensive brushes. You can just feed that. I'm just using a single version we are painting. And I also personally feel that it is always good to be very much resourceful and save money on your stationary fan just taking lighter values of green and we are starting to paint the leaves. So initially, you have to give the leaves in the outer portion falls. And when we come close to what the roles will be, painting darker means. If you are finding any difficulty in painting the leaves around the roses, you can definitely go to the practice we do, which is just about this video, so that you'll get a nice idea harm you have to use your round brush to paint the leaves. The technique is very easy. You just have to make two simple strokes. So now I am just repeating the process. We are going to paint these nice lighter tone green leaves. And the outer portion first, against the bank of three leaves, looks very nice. And you can draw the leaves in a very random portion. I'm again telling you, no need to draw or paint in the same fashion I'm painting. The thing that you are learning here is how to paint it specifically. So I guess the Arab quite much done with the lighter leaves. Now we'll be taking a darker value of green. I'm just mixing it in my color palette, sorry for my dirty palette again. So now we'll be painting the darker leaves in near portion to the roses. With that, it gives a nice depth and dimension to our roses. Method of painting the darker leaves is also same. They are not doing anything new. The only difference is that it is a little bit darker in Dorne. So now I'm just adding some more darker news around. The second rule is that we painted. Similarly, you have to just repeat the same process and some more darker leaves vagina through the roses. Also simultaneously Uganda branches. If you want to. So again, I'm just painting Lilly's bunch of 3, which is looking really nice. Now I'm adding branches and leaves altogether and you have to make it an unbounded so that it looks at only pretty. To give the branches. I had already explained it in the practice session. You'll have to just simply use the tip off your face around branch and you can see how beautiful they look. There is no need to use different detailing brush for this. You can simply use your round brush tip only to do this. So now as you can see that we have somehow achieved the painting very well. And it is looking really nice that the combination of leaves and branches are going and nice contrast with our two roses. So I had basically fast enough that we do. So now we'll be taking certain lighter values of ultra marine and will be giving the branches and the outskirts so that DR. darker branches gets even more enhanced and it looks even more vibrant. Nothing new. We are just making the same strokes that we made earlier. Thus, they are a little bit lighter and dawn. If you want a symbol blackness tutorial, definitely go to practice in detail. And you can practice leaves, roses and these branches that we made very easily. So now we are almost done with the painting and we'll be going to the detail infection now.
5. PAINTING 1 - DETAILING: So we almost finished the painting. Now let me take you towards the detailing section. So here I have a simple right, Ben from Sakura Gelly Roll. It has a very nice tip to give details. If you have any other good alternating, you can go for that as well. So now what do you have to do is that use your right Ben to give the veins in the leaves, mainly these little strokes to enhance the darker leaves. And it also will increase the attractiveness and value of your painting. You can just simply repeat the process and all the darker leaves around your roses so that it looks even more beautiful. Now what I have done is bad. I'm just zooming in a little bit so that you know, medically only how you can make those strokes. Just draw a line and add little branches to it. And these are the simple details you can add to your painting. So this is our first painting, the lived and red roses. And I hope that you liked the painting. 6. PAINTING 2 - ELEGANT BLUE ROSES: Hey everybody, welcome back to those I can painting, which is elegant blue roses. So again, we are going to start making rough three circles on our A5 size watercolor paper. So this sketch is basically for the reference as we did in the authorised painting only. Now the colors that we are going to use for this particular painting is ultramarine, 4 million SAM green and light green. So here I have my color palette and we are going to take darker values of ultramarine enforced. So we are having less amount of water and are alone rash. And we're going to make these little tiny circular strokes in the center of the circle as you can see. So you just have to simply been the process. If you find difficulty in finding those anti-abortion, you can definitely go to the practice video that I had simply given basic exercise and tutorial for painting the roses. So as you can see, we are given some darker values in the center portion. Now simply clean up your brush and water, dab it on audition napkin, auto, simple cloth. Now, again, repeat the same process that we did in the end abortion, but this time we do not have collateral and our round brush. You can observe the movement of my brush and the stroke sign making me very much careful and have a good control on your brush. Try to keep your hand loose and flowy and devise your strokes will look to direct. And just simply make these randoms, alkalis talks. I had just Assembly passed and MW FOR painting with me. Now we'll be starting by painting the branches around our blue roses. So I had just taken lighter values of green and just trace it on the pencil strokes that we made initially. So it's always better to have initial sketch with pencil so that you do not lose any difficulty vile painting. So I'm just family tracing the benzyl line. If you find access amount of water in any of the abortion, you can definitely simply dab the brush onto our plot, our sample fisher napkin. And you can just take off the excess water by just simply fast enough the video so that we can Zoom some more time. For painting with me. You can definitely slow down. We DO less than option below. Now, as you can observe that we have somehow finish the branches around. Now we'll be starting with the leaves. So initially, as usual, we'll be painting the lighter leaves on the outer portion forest. And again, there should be a nice bunch of three leaves together, which looks really pretty. Or you can do paired off to also. It's absolutely your choice. So I'm just making these tools simple stroke to paint the leaves. If you are finding any difficulty in painting leaves, feel free to go to the practice section, bed I add blink of an easy exercise or tutorial basically for your kind, where I had taught how you can draw leaves, roses, and random branches very easily. And also, I don't know why this is so much peaceful painting florals, I guess. Kind of randomness that has and vibrant colors it takes is something that act like therapy to me. So definitely if you are also float or lower than you might be connecting with me. Hemingway's. So now I'm just adding some random branches also. So once we are done with the lighter green leaves, I'm taking certain darker values of green and we are mixing it in our color palette. So now we're going to paint the darker leaves near to the roses so that you can create a nice depth between the roses and leaves. So after we finished painting the darker leaves, you will also observe that there's a nice contrast happening between the leaves and the roses. But it makes it so amazing and so attractive to sing. If you are a beginner and you haven't started exploring watercolors recently, then I would definitely recommend you that try to practice as much as you can. I know the day-to-day should do is so busy that we do not get time to pain. But definitely be florals won't take you more than 10 to 15 minutes maximum to practice. So we'll use a rough scrape off paper initially bear you can practice all your elements and then that would be really helpful to come up with a final output. So we are just covering up the surrounding with darker leaves. They had just been passed on WDL. If you are painting with domain, you can slow down the video. I had to repeat bad because I had just tied to edit the video faster. So just adding some more minute details. And we are almost done. So wherever you find little spaces where you have the opportunity to paint the branches, definitely add them. Also, you can observe that we had just simply used one thing, little brush and painted the entire painting. I'm just using these smaller tip on the Don Bush so that we can give these amazing pen branches. Right now I'm having a little bit of vermilion and my brush so that you can create a nice contrast in the branches. Awesome. So that is these amazing little bit ahead, but that you will be seeing right now. You can add up these wherever you want to. Now, one more thing that I would like you all to know is that it does not at all compulsory that you paint the entire painting in similar way I had been to him. You can create your own masterpiece. The most important thing here is that you should learn the technique and how you can control your brush while doing it. So we had almost completed doping. Now let me take you towards the detailing section and we'll be done with our painting too. Elegant Blue Roses also.
7. PAINTING 2 - DETAILING : So we are almost done with our painting tool, elegant Blue Roses. Now let's add suddenly deals and build up. Doing. So he had, I have my white pen from Sakura Gelly Roll. It really has a very fine tip. It's not at all necessary that you use those same grant. You can go for any other good alternative as well. So we are using the white pen to draw the veins in the leaves. That looks really amazing and attractive. So now let me just did the paper a little bit closer towards you guys so that you can absorb the detailing clearly. So VR just drawing them in line and then we'll be adding these little branches to it. So with that though, veins look very clear and natural. You can definitely add these bite bendy days and darker leaves so that it looks and a nice contrast with the darker background. So I had just simply repeated that same process and all the darker leaves. And our painting is ready. Let me take you a little bit closer.
