About This Class

I'm always drawn to the cold rains that greets you at the edge of your windows.. Being from a place where it rains so much more than you can imagine, its natural and probably unavoidable that i would paint anything other than moody landscapes..

This is one of those scenes where you're driving through the thick forests just after the heavy rains..the roads are so thick and wet with muddy waters ..This is my exact experience when we traveled through the lush western ghat dandeli forest region a few months ago..

Also this is a very quick class with just a few basic techniques you need to paint forests and a road..i have included a topic on creating perspective for roads and depth for forests..i hope you find this class helpful..

if you do, do leave a review..it helps to reach more students..

Thank You!

1. Introduction: Hello, guys. Welcome to my third class on screen share Today will be painting rainy roads in a forest. We'll also talk about the prospectors on how to draw roads, unclear ing, which creates the depth in a forest. I hope you like this approach on how to painting the roads in the forest. Quit 20 minute class, so let's get started. 2. Let's Talk About Perspective & Depth: we'll talk little about prospect use. I'm making a small thumbnail sketch on March 2 points on both sides of the paper. Now draw an elongated s on one side and a C on the other business for you. Don't easily remember the prospectors and a long Guichard s on a C. No, what you should not go is this. Don't ever draw a straight line on the paper. Now let's talk about depth on how you can create it for you to easily remember. There are three layers and when you combine the three layers, it looks something like this. We'll paint now for steak, the pigment, very small amount of pigment and lots and lots of water. The idea is to first paint the light, take the pain, just start adding the trees on the layer one. Now let's act the same on the family. We owe for the second layer. Take more pigment than you have taken for force. Later, basically less water on more pigment way now Adlai Ato in the thumbnail and make sure layout one is completely tried now for the layer three dick buying spree and, of course, state more pigment. Unless water and repeat the process askew. Paint the third layer with lines creates. You can see their depth that we have built. I hope this is helpful for you. We're using the same techniques in the next landscapes on make sure you're adding layers only after their dried. 3. Art supplies & Sketching : these are That's a place I used. It's not necessary that you have to use thes, but make sure you're using quality supplies to get the best results possible. First, we'll start with the sketching while sketching the prospector is very important. I will divide it into three, but where the road start both on the right as your last, the left side and where it ends and we'll start sketching from there. As you can see, there is a co here in the reference painting. Well, just follow what we see. It takes a couple of tries, but it's not impossible, as you can see, have arrest quite a a lot because I couldn't get the perspective correctly. I would suggest to practice before you proceed with the landscape, because prospecting for the roads is very important, and I think this is good enough. I'll start with the next step 4. Setting up the Background : wrecked the paper with the clean water on the mob brush. Make sure you're not reading very off the road. - Take tallow green shape from sand. Early years are any color you wish and start firing the color all the while keeping the road area clean and dry. Leave the white space about Justin in charge. So now when the paper is still wet, just take a bit off paint on your brush. Any brush, just draw these lines. They don't have to be perfect. They don't have to look like trees. Just broad lines, I think, shows the depth of the forest. Take tallow green. Now we're painting the layer toe with green color. Start painting the pine trees. It's easy. You don't have to be specific. Just draw the line with your brush and move your brush in his exact manner, and that gives you the pine trees. - Now we'll start with the layer three. I'm taking my on screen paint the pine trees like we her painted before, draw the line and move your brush in his exact manner. The brush I'm using, used to size full synthetic synthetic brushes gives you more control when you need it. Keep painting the pine trees along the border off the roar. Now keep this for drying. After the background dries, paint the pine trees on the right side as well. Way the O. 5. Roads & A Few Trees : No, I'm taking pines. Great. And I'm starting with the old. I'm using a number six fresh way way ? No, I'm taking by and scream and I'm adding trees on both right on left side. Just a good that extra net toe. Add the lines long. That old. If you don't have the right jump in, you can take a normal watercolor key with a tin brush on number one brush. You can draw the lines exactly like the plan way. 6. Birds & We're Done: take number one brush using science Cray and follow the process. You see way we have done here. There will be off roads on the cityscape next week. So please keep an eye out for that. And I hope you like this class. Thank you so much for watching. And I'll see you guys next time by
