Basically, color theory is RGB. Let me write it for you. RGB and San Magenta, yellow, and K, and it means black. And RGB is basically let's zoom here with big brush, red green and blue. This is definition of the digital colors in the pixel area and the colors we see in the screens. And it is San Jian Magenta is basically yellow and black. This is for print, we see in the papers in real life colors or some surfaces in real life. It is the print colors. And we need to use RGB colors in our digital art. Because it is much more saturated than the print colors. And it is much more vibrant than the print colors. And let's open the color menu, and you will see colors have hue hue hue saturation and value. Basically, Hue hue, saturation and value is the main topic of the digital colors. For example, hue is the value of the color. For example, I will make example for you to change in the color wheel and it go to the yellow, the green, the blue and purple. 1 second. Purple and red. And another topic is saturation. Saturation is like for red color, if we give example of the red and white, it is the I will make it like this. It is how saturated your color. And value is how light is your color from black to white. And the background can be much more different. So we can see. Okay. And let's talk about the colors and how they give the emotion. Let's put red, yellow, green and blue and maybe black and white. I will make white with this line. Red is powerful and red is powerful and strong color. Also, it gives a danger and feminine look, and yellow is a danger. And and it is warm colors. And you can see some colors are warm like red and red tones and blue and blue tones is warmer colors. You need to use warm and cold colors like cold and warm colors in balance to keep your illustration much more balanced. And green gives a trust table trustable look and blue is like Clonss and black is formal and white is neutral and innocent because it is, for example, angels have some white tones and darkness have dark tones. And Covas information is basically the statistics, dimensions, layer, color profile, video settings, and et cetera. And share is you can share your image at these formats or share the layers. At video, you can see your time laps with you. The preference is like the preferences about the general of the pro grade. And adjustments are you can see who saturation brightness and color. It is about adjustments of the layers like paintings. You can add different effects to your paintings from the adjustments and selection tools, there are automatic free hand rectangle and ellipse. For example, at rectangle, you can select in rectangle shapes. At ellipse, you can select an ellipse shape. If you tap the screen with your one tap and hold with one finger and move the pencil, it creates perfect circle. And free hand is like it is free. At the right part, you can see brushes here and it is classic library. If you click here and click back to libraries, there is two library, and one is Nv made by Procreate and it is the classic old library. Smooch tool is basically smooch paintings and colors you made and eraser. This brushes works with libraries. You can select some brushes as brush. And these layers is basically layer section of procreate. And right to, you can color palette. And, This section is like size of the brush and opacity of brush, and you can see undo and redo button after it. And if you hold with your finger and swipe it to left, you can place it at different places. Okay, thank you. 4. Learn Quickshapes: Welcome. In this part, I will teach you how to create quick shapes. Basically, if you paint with your pencil or finger, and hold your finger and move backwards and forward, it creates the size of shape. But if you use your other finger while you moving pencil or your finger, it creates perfect line and you can color drop in it. Or for example, if I paint another circle and hold with my two finger or click it at the shape, it can turn it to perfect. For example, I will show you with another example. Let's paint square like this and 1 second. Let's paint Suqure like this. And you can create any shapes from editing tool at the top of menu. And if you paint just one line and you can move it around the shapes like this, it creates perfect line, and you can make arch from the line and change the start and end point of the line. Thank you. 5. Learn Basic and Advanced Gestures: Welcome again. In this part of class, we will talk about gestures. Gestures is basically you using your fingers on the screen. And if you pinch your fingers together like this, let me open one Okay, let me open it. If you zoom in like this and pinch your fingers together so quickly, it makes full size like this. And if you paint like this and use your two finger together, tap your two finger, it's undo. With two finger, it's undo. And if you use three finger, it is red to last action. And two finger is backwards, three fingers is upwards. And if you open another new layer like this and swipe your three finger left hand right, it cleans the layer. 1 second. Again, three fingers, left and right. It clears the layer, for example, if you painted the all layers together and three finger and it's cleared. W three finger swipe down your fingers is open the quick menu. 1 second like this. And in this section, you will see cut, copy, copy all, duplicate, cut and paste and paste. And with your three finger, I mean, forefinger, you can make full screen, and it helps you to concentrate your artwork more with more focus on your artwork because you don't see any interface to 6. And if you want to use realistic brushes, you need to use airbrushes And line brushes like I will show you. And let's go back to library like texture brushes, and artistisO is painterly like textures. Like it can be anything related traditional textures like caracols and pistils and watercolor, and more. And for abstract, you can use abstract elements, spray vintage and more, like a bit different from the painterly and realistic one. And painterly is like textured brushes like this. It creates textures, realistic textures. And for realistic one, you need to blend colors much more better than the other one. So you need to blend softly at realistic paintings. And for line arts, you can use inking brush because they are really great for creating clean lines. And thank you for joining this part of class. 7. Learn Procreate Layers: Create at right top, you will see layer step. You can change the background color from here and create one ellipse from this open neve layer and make it a blue. Another neve layer will be rectangle, and it is yellow. Red. Like this. Layers is like for example, in these layers, it is like papers in each other. Blue is in the backwards and yellow in the middle and red in the top. If you hold to one layer and drop it to middle, then it will be between yellow and blue. If you select layer four and selection tool, if you move here, you will see it is hiden under the yellow. And if you move five to top of it, it will be in the top. And if you swipe your finger to the right like this, you can select or reselect with doing the same thing. And if you select two layers and click group, it will be group. Then if you tap into new group and you will see rename, you can change the name of the layers or ungroup or Fulletin or merge down or combine down. And let's ungroup it. Fleton is like making them one layer. And let's dilate the other layers do it swipe your finger to the left. And you will see a lock, duplicate and dilate. Look is simple means you can't paint the pixel area. And duplicate means it duplicates the pixel area and til it completely cleans the layers. I will clean all of them. And if you tap onto the layer five, name, you can name, select, copy, fill layer, clear, Alpha log mask, clipping mask, invert. Invert is basically inverts to colors like the opposite colors and reference merge down, combine down. And if you tap into the normal button, you will see opacity here. You can make it zero and which makes the pixel area not visible, you can play on it, and you can change the layer modes. For example, normal to the pin nit is lighten colors, Lighten modes like filters. And heart mix to white is experimental colors and huge luminosities color options of the layers which affects the color, only color channel. And normal to multiply is darker colors for filters. And if you click this tick pattern, it hides the layer or if you do it again, it make bake. And if you click to Layer five and select Alpha lock, it will look to pixel area. It means you can only paint the pixel area. I can't paint the white areas right now. And let's backwards. And if you open new layer and you can also select clipping mask for this option, which creates other layer for it. And you can open on it. And from these adjustments, you can play with the saturation or hue of this channel. And basically, what you can do, there is mask option. If you click mask, and paint mask with black color. It dilates the painting, for example, like this. And if you paint with white, it makes visible again. And thank you for joining me in this part and see you in the next lesson.
