Warning: This course doesn't have a video of drawing your daisy in pencil. Instead you can download an outline of a flower, print it on watercolor paper and paint right away!

MATERIALS USED IN THE CLASS
- Watercolor paper: Canson Montval, cold press, 300 gsm. You can use any cellulose (student quality) paper of any texture. If you plan to print an outline on the watercolor paper sheet, choose thinner paper (120 gsm)
- 2-3 brushes: 1 small synthetic round brush, 1 middle-sized synthetic round brush. You can use more if you want.
- soft pencil for a sketch (if you will draw one), eraser.
- watercolors: I used Rosa professional watercolors. You can use any watercolor brand you own.
Colors You will need:
- pink color (Magenta/ Quinacridone/ Alizarin/or any cold red color)
- warm red (Cadmium Red)
- green (Phthalo green/ Turquoise/ Emerald green/ Cobalt Turquoise/ or any cold green)
- blue (Ultramarine/ Ceruleum/ Blue Indanthrene)
- yellow (Cadmium yellow)

Hi there, my name is Yana!
I am a professional watercolor artist from Kyiv, Ukraine. This was my art studio, it does not exist since February 24, 2022:
This is where I used to focus on developing skills, learning new techniques, working on private commissions, and creating online courses.
I am a full-time artist making a living with my watercolor art. My original paintings are now in private collections in the USA, the UK, Australia, and Europe. I received multiple awards in international art competitions.

You class project is to show your color palette: what colors have you chosen for your pink daisy? What complementary colors did you use to achieve a darker tone? Just share a photo of your tests and final color choice.
OR you can go further and share your final artwork - a watercolor daisy!
ATTENTION: Attached is an outline of a daisy. Download it, print on watercolor paper (less than 300 gsm to be able to fit into printer) or trace it by yourself.
