1. Introduction: Hi, I'm Mahar Wurdam. I am professional artist and illustrator. Wo work with global brands like Adopt Belly Eilish Wacom, Logitech, xPpan and Me. Welcome to Procreate paint with me coloring in Procreate course. If you are always wanting to bring your digital illustration to life with rich colors, smooth shading, and a clean, professional class is perfect starting point. In this course, you will learn my full coloring workflow in Procreate, from choosing the right color palette to adding depth shadows and highlights to creating polished eye catching results that stand out social media and your portfolio. Whether you are beginner or experienced artists looking to improve your coloring technique, you will be able to follow along steps by step and applying everything immediately. I will guide you in real time as we build a complete, beautiful colored artwork together. You will learn practical shortcuts, blending tricks, layer strategies, and the exact methods I use in my professional illustrations. By the end of this class, you will have finished pies you prod of and the confidence to color any illustration in Procreate with Es. So grab your iPad, open Procreate, and let's start painting together. I'm excited to create with you. See you in the class. 2. Paint Base Colors: Welcome. In this class, I will show you how to color Skage. This is our sketch, and we opened layer under the sketch layer. And first, we need to define the colors of the skin. And for it, we need to just build the base colors for our painting. For example, Okay. And we will also paint the base color of the dress and for background, I will use muted dark colors for now. And I will delay this part a bit. And after you put the base colors. Okay. And this part. And for I I will use green color. I like this. And after these details, let's put the color for the lap two. And after it, all you need to do is create another new layer, and this layer will be our values like shadows and highlights. I started from coloring this corners and will make it much more darker. Okay. And we'll paint it much more visible. This side too. And at end of the this part will be much more visible. Maybe much more darker colors at this part. At this part. 3. Add Colors with Layer Mode: Color: And open another new layer and make layer mode color, and we will add some colors into cheeks and nose, also at these parts of painting. Okay. Maybe much more, but don't overuse it because it will be sopping if you do it. Okay. And we can apply the same effect for the ros here. Okay. And now open another new layer and zoom into I. In this part, we will create the micro details and we'll add extra colors, details and details. I mean, micro details is important. And this part And this part darker. Also. And this part will be darker. Okay. These parts will be much more values. And sometimes you can flip commas horizontal to see much more details and your mistakes and different things. Okay, I'm adding much more details over here. Adding much more value here. Okay. And for other I, again, flip commas, and we'll make darker colors for the corners like these details Okay. And for hair, I will use hairbrush, but before it, I want to make much more color at my portrait. For example, this part can be much more darker because light comes from this side. Light This part will be darker like this. And this part can be also darker. And let's continue to adding details together. At next part, we will collect the layers and go to hue and we will give a bit hue. And curse, we will paint like play with curves and zoom. And select white color and we apply over here. Maybe not directly white, but a bit. 4. Paint Shadows: Yellowish color here. And select the hairbrush, some kind of hairbrush. You can use your own brush if you have and apply over these parts. And also, I will use it here for define the angle and the tails. Okay. What we can do is select a lighter color and apply over here. And maybe much more Okay. And we'll make much more price strokes here for make it much more realistic. And at some connections points, I will add brains highlights like this and like this, Okay. And for dress, I will use some white color. And we'll mix the colors gently. Okay. And let's zoom into phase and continue with this brush because this textured brush is really great for adding details. So you can use any textut brush for your detailing. Okay. And I will select a bit reddish moody color and with some makeup here. Like this. I'm heading gigantly for makeup. And let's paint the background for now. And with these colors, I'm just defining the places of the Roses. And maybe this part, this part. And after it, we need to paint some leaves here, like, because there is many leaves here. Some of them big, some of them in the dark. But I'm making it painterly, and it will look great like this. Okay. And for Rose, I will add some dark colors. Okay. That's much more detail here. And at some parts, we can increase the detail level of roses by adding some light and textures. Okay. And now, zoom into face, and let's finish the portrait by adding some pain tily and deep dye details. For example, I will make this part much more darker. 5. Paint Highlights: Okay. And Bonchi can be much more visible at this side and zoom into this portraits lip side and add some highlights over it. And add some lights. Okay. Now open I mean, collect the layers at first, then go to the curves and increase the curve a bit more. Okay. And after that, open another new layer and select color dodge. This time we will create really good amount of light. For example, I will make it here. Maybe grayish color would be better. And This part, this part, and these parts. I'm adding a really good amount of light comes here from and creates really good atmosphere with these details. And let's continue adding detail over portray. Okay, let's zoom here and select lighter yellow color and head over it this part. Okay, let's zoom here and make it dark here. And also these parts 6. Paint Background and Micro Details: Darker. And maybe you can paint it much more strong like this. And, of course, at this part, like this. And let's paint the rose for final details. I hope you enjoy this class and Let's make these details a bit pop up. For example, we can select much more deeper color for create these leaves and zoom into face and make this darker. So this top can be much more darker. Okay. And 7. Complete Illustration: Open another new layer with overlay and add some vivid lights to our portrait. For example, zoom into face and select purples, and you can add some purples at some places of portrait for make it much more interesting. For example, here, a bit don't overuse it, try to at certain points. Hope you enjoy this tutorial and let's continue to make all layers 1 second. I will duplicate it and we'll make and noise and a bit of noise because it will add really good grainy texture to our portrait.
