About This Class

Welcome to this class on Oil Pastel Houses. 

In this class you will learn to paint three beautiful, vibrant and easy oil pastel houses of different colors , shapes and sizes (with beautiful backgrounds). We will start the class with basic understanding of oil pastel,  some of the oil pastel techniques (oil pastel techniques such as pressure sensitivity of oil pastels , blurring effect, blending colors , creating gradient and overlaying colors )then we'll move on to demonstrations of houses, trees (pine trees and normal trees), and background sky and the pathways with fence. And finally move on to the main projects in which we'll be drawing and painting two houses ( in different orientations while ensuring that the perspective of the houses and the rest of the composition remains correct) with different backgrounds,  trees and flowers. We'll be painting 3 projects in total . I encourage you to follow along with me as all the videos are in real time, so join me and let's paint. some beautiful and vibrant oil pastel houses.

1. Welcome and Introduction: Welcome to this class on easy all pistol houses. In this class you will learn to paint these three simple and beautiful, oil-based still houses. You will learn to draw and paint this three vertical houses with background trees, sky as well as flowers. We will start the class with basic understanding of oil-based still and some of the techniques. How you can draw trees. Three different types of background is skies, different type of house in different orientations, and find neat how you can draw pathways. After all this demonstration, we will move on to the main project and myths we'll be drawing and painting three beautiful houses with different color combination and different backgrounds. Hi, my name is Michelle MSG, and I'll be your instructor for this class. I am an artist from India and by probation, I am a civil engineer. You can find my other drawings on Instagram. I hope you learned something new and exciting from this class. Happy painting. 2. Class Project: That's what the class project I encourage you to paint any of the three painting. Audio and welcome to come up with your own unique competition called the reducer in realtime. So join along with me and let's paint. 3. List of Supplies: For this class, you will need a pencil and release it, it still paper or any paper up more than 140 DSM redo the work. But all the paintings, I'll be using brown paper. You can use whatever paper you have. Masking tape all the papers using Q-tips, blending stumps. See you in the next video. 4. Oil Pastel Basics: I'll still give very versatile medium, the uneasy to get in. They provided by blend colors and they are easily mixed with each other. This ILP is Delta very persistent setup with this oil pastels, you can apply three types of pressing. The first one is the light prison, the second one is the medium pressure. And the third and the final element is the high prison. There's different kinds of places are used in different situations. This light, medium, and heavy basis are useful in different situations depending upon the types of places, different blending tools and different techniques that I use. Next, we will talk about how light, medium and heavy place that use different blending results. Moving on to the blending. But this I'll be using the same color and I'm playing the same place as the light prison. Applying medium prison and applying heavy prison. So you how these colors blend. I'm going in with a Q-tip to blend the colors. For this first one, I felt really heavy pressure with a Q-tip to blend the colors. And the blending of colors is not uniform. Moving on to the second one, I have to apply comparatively less preservatives and the blending, it's somewhat uniform. And for the third one, I don't have to apply much pressure to blend the colors. And even if I don't blend the colors, the blending will be smooth and uniform. So as you can see, the light, medium and heavy blizzard use different result in case of blending. Now moving on to the tools that you can use to blend the colors. What does the demonstration? I'll be using my finger tip, blending stump and tissue paper. I'm going in with a CMYK color and applying medium prison to drop both circles. Now going in with my pen nib, left blank, have implicit to blend the colors. As you can see, the blending is smooth and uniform. The second one, I'm going in with a Q-tip supplying heavy, but instead of a table to blend the color, as you can see, the blending smooth and uniform, but the area covered is much less as compared to the one we did earlier with my finger moving much at the third one, going into the blending stump to blend the colors, we can really be used blending stumps with precision and detail, but it's required. Now moving into the fourth one, going in with a tissue paper to blend the colors. Somehow, some white but this text to my tissue paper and it got transferred to the paper. Are blending with that. It's good to see you in the next video. 5. Oil Pastel Techniques: Now let's talk about some other different techniques that can use with the oil-based. And on top of this, I am going in with a burgundy. The second color is clearly visible on top of the first one. Another example of this overlaying technique. I'm just inverting the order of the colors. Using burgundy is a prime brilliant and adding mint green on top of it. The main cleaner top of it, it's not clearly visible. Now let's blend the colors with a Q-tip to achieve the gradient. Instead of this Q-tip, you can use your finger P2P, but our blending stump, whatever you people applying heavy preferred with the Q-tip to blend the colors. You said be careful while blending the colors. Here you can see I have made a mistake. I bought at it from the top to the bottom section. So as to rectify this mistake, I decided to add some white in the bottom section. Know going in again with a Q-tip to blend the white to the rest of the colors. With these, we are done with the gradient creation and the techniques. See you in the next video. 6. Sky: In this video, I will so three example of this guy that we will be using for the background of the paintings, starting with citrulline blue for the courses can put all the three demonstration of the sky painting that we'll be using for the background, as well as for the real paintings. I'll be using sibling blue and white only. For this first demonstration, I'll be using citrulline blue and white diagonally opposite to each other. Here I've already added the cereal in blue. Trees: In this video, I will show how you can draw pine trees and normal trends, starting with their own. But for the pine trees, the pine trees, I'll be showing you three demonstration. The first one will be lighter batteries and a pine tree. The second one, ammonium ion, and the third and the final one, a darker variation of the pine trees. Now going in with a lemon yellow coat, the first pine tree, I'll be using overland back knee put all the trees. That's where the colors put all the trees. I'll be using lemon, yellow, but green. With finding the people that drink and filling in the rest of this piece with this lemon yellow. I have applied medium vessel with this lemon yellow. Now going into the bulb green. Smallest stocks with this bird, green and overlaying it on top of the lemon yellow. Now adding the trunk of the tree. Now going in with a bad green, blending the bud green near the bottom of the tree. Moving back to the pine tree. And in that there really isn't a green near the bottom of the pine trees. Houses: In this video, I will go through example of the houses with three different colors and different orientation that you can draw for the main paintings. Here, they've already started with the pencil to draw out a guideline for the first house. I'll be drawing simple houses to black doors and the windows. Moving on to the second hours, changing the orientation of the second house. And finally, sketching or the guideline for the third house. The third house is behind this second house. Here I have a staggered with blending the seedling blue streak across the sky. Instead of using Q tip, you can use this super faster than quicker. Today. We're almost done with blending the first 2 min later throughout the sky. No blending doesn't speak with the right. Moving on to the second syllable in blue streak across the sky. Well, these were done with a yellow green for the screen. Moving on to the secondary, know going in with a bad green for the third layer the tree. Adding more strokes with a bat wing for that lower section under three has done better than perfect. We live to the second ring and doing the thing. With this, we are done with the bad green. Continuing forward with a very didn't ring as the product lead for the trees.
