Have you tried setting business goals in the past, but you found that kind of overwhelming. If you answered yes to either of those questions, then you're in the right place. My name is Michelle and I'm the founder of laptops and Martinez. And I'm also a business coach for women who run a service-based business from home. So give yourself a big, big hug from my hand, a priority for yourself. In this workshop, I'm going to teach you some valuable things that will help you with your goal-setting efforts, as well as guide you through the actual process of city. Your monthly goals. Goal setting is not something that we're born knowing how to do. It's a skill that we have to learn and practice. And over time, we able to sit better goals and achieve more of them. Muslims, Michelle Marks, and I'm an ideas coach, and I work with women who run a service-based business from home. I love the life of a home-based entrepreneur. And it's my mission to help other home-based business women and build that dream business. One that really fulfills them in every single way. I helped As Chen, that ideas into accomplishments and goal-setting is a big part of what I do. And I'm so happy to be helping me sit and achieve your own goals. I want to go over a few things that you'll need to know before you start this workshop. Firstly, this is a hands-on workshop that was designed to help you learn and implement. At the same time, I'm going to start with a little bit of theory and goal setting, which will be 100 percent irrelevant to you and your business. Then I'm going to walk you through how to set your goals, what goals you should set, and how to create a plan for yourself. So be prepared to get some non-negotiable. See I work done today because that's exactly what we're here for. For the workshop compliant. And you're going to need a few things. Firstly, make sure you've downloaded the goal-setting workbook and either have it ready on your computer or print it out if you prefer to hand write your goals. You'll also need a pen. And a couple of highlights would be a good idea too. I want you to get riding to look all sitting today. So 10 of any distractions like your emails, you'll social media and you find calls. This is your time. It's your time to work on the future of your business. So make the most of it and enjoy the process. 3. Lesson: Why we set goals: If you're listening to me now and you probably already nice value of Gaussian. Let's do like to talk about it. Annex core goal setting is so valuable because it encourages us to look ahead, to drain, to think about what we want. In business. We can easily get lost to the day-to-day staff is putting out spot fires procrastinating client where x is all the stuff that keeps us busy. A goal-setting makes you stop and then lift your head to see where you're going. Goal-setting can be really motivating. Because a lot of us thrive on progress. It can be a key motivator for many, many people. And good goal-setting practice helps you track and celebrate your progress, which encourages you to strive for even more progress. When you combine your greater vision for your business with your goals, big things start to happen. You become intentional with the time. And we though FX, more of what you do contributes to the fulfillment and the growth of your business. That's how valuable it can be. 4. Lesson: Why goal-setting hasn't worked in the past: Sir, Why hasn't goal-setting works for us in the past? The associations we have with goal-setting and the messages that we were saying really aren't doing us any fetus, which hold it out. Goals is supposed to be big and inspiring. The wind. Usually seen girls named talked about. It's Randy is eight when everyone wants to liaise way, give up chocolate and quit smoking. And what follows is a brief period of motivation followed by the person getting up, usually about a week or two later. These goals usually aren't achieved. And that's what we see. So we almost programmed to believe that goals are impossible and have never accomplished. So a lot of us go into goal-setting without high hopes or an expectation that they'll actually fail. And not to mention that we have no idea how to actually sit in a chiefdom. The messages we see about goal-setting are confusing and then really setting us up to File. We aren't born knowing how to set goals. But like anything, it's a skill we need to learn into practice. If we want to get better at it. That's what we've gotta do. That's the number one reason why I've created this guided workshop feeling. Because I want to teach you how to goal set in so that you can achieve more and gain momentum in your business without all the stress in the overwhelm. Some of the common mistakes that we make rugosity includes setting goals that are too big and overwhelming. We're not creating a clear enough plan of action. We're not prioritizing time to actually work on it. And the number 1 being held back by fears and doubts. So what can you do in moving forward? First things first, I want you to start with small goals and keep them simple. I am not going to sit here and tell you to sit big, massive goals or to follow the smart, smart framework. You've probably heard about that right? Now. I want you to keep your goals small to start with. As you work through those small goals and you start achieving them and you get, you get the hang of it, then we can start looking a little bit bigger. Don't feel that I'm minimizing the impact of those small goals though, because the accomplishment of small goals is still positive progress that you're making towards your bigger picture. Because small steps, progress is still progress. When you set goals eagle small, always take the time to create a clear step-by-step plan of action. You invest your time in doing these. It's going to make it so much easier for you to tick off those items, accomplish that goal. When you do start to sit bigger goals, the plan of action will help you avoid distorting feelings that you'd experience when looking at a huge task or project. Creating milestones is also a great way of breaking it down and it gives you frequent opportunities to celebrate the progress that you're making with your goal. And you need to celebrate. That's what gives us the motivation and the warm, fuzzy feelings that we need to keep that momentum going. Your motivation is going to be affected by our priorities as well. If you don't prioritize the time that you spend working on your goals. And you might work on them. You'll always have another task or another project that seems more important and that pushes your goal accomplishment time further down the list and you'll ever get around to it. Many business owners feel guilty for working on their business, should spend all of their time in the width Lama clients are finding clients if they're not fully booked. But working on your goals is valuable time that you are investing in in order to grow your business. If you are a one woman, show that you're probably wearing all the hats. You doing client work or marketing, your bookkeeping. You doing all means, all of those things that are needed to keep your business cards Cheney, that's on top of family life and managing your household as well. And even if you have staff and contractors like a virtual assistant on board to help you, and you'll still covering more roles in a business than you would see one person tackling bigger business. In a logic business, the CEO is the visionary that determines where the company's going and they help set the goals. The manager helps the TPP work on them. In your business. You're the CEO, the manager, and levitating. So all the client work is crucial to the survival of your business. Time spent working on your goals is crucial to the growth and the momentum of your business. So I'd encourage you to think about wave Goal Seek goal setting sits on your list of priorities. Is it right there alongside marketing and client work? Or is it way lie down on the on the list and you find yourself prioritizing everything button. If it's low priority because you feel like it's not important or because you feel guilty for spending time working on your goal work, then it's a good idea to work through that. So what if you don't have time, feel goals, not going to sugarcoat this, you need to make some ways you workload will be heavier than others and you actually weren't how ton? But that's not going to be every month. The thing is, you will always make time for what's important to you. So when you see the value in sitting and working on your goals, when you start seeing the results of the changes that come from the accomplishment of your goals, then the time that you spend working on goals will become non-negotiable CER time. If you struggled to find the time, then I recommend that you start small. And for ten minutes, once a week or a couple of tons of it. Just to chip away at your plan of action, you get a few things done and you'll see a little bit of progress made. You'll be that little bit more motivated to do that 10 minutes again. And eventually it'll just become part of your normal routine. And you can increase it from ten minutes to half an hour. Then an hour, it'll become your new normal and you might feel guilty about it anymore. You'll be achieving mole, growing your business and not feeling guilty in the process. One of the biggest blockers that prevents us from achieving our goals, our fears and doubts, like they affect you too much. But the trouble is, fees and deaths are almost invisible. You won't even know you're afraid of something that's related to your goals until you purposefully unpackage. When you're paralyzed by fear, like the fear of failure or field judgment, then you'll be unconsciously stopping yourself from working on finishing that goal. What that can look like, this when you find it easy to set a goal, never get around to it. There's always a reason why you avoid it. Like other jobs getting in the way or you procrastinate or you go to work on it, but keep getting up for snacks as a way of avoiding it. For some people, it could look like perfectionism that raise its head. Or you could just be adding tasks to your action plan as an avoidance mechanism. By adding tasks, you're prolonging the accomplishment, which is yourself telling you that if you don't finish it, you won't have to worry about the consequences. Will a punishment, which in your mind is the fear that you have if you feel being judged than not accomplishing your goals is a way of keeping yourself safe from having to actually be judged. So with this being a big blocker for us, how to actually get around it? First, I want you to start by addressing what your fears and doubts maybe brainstorm all the things that you're worried about in relation to these goal. Are you worried that it will fail? And he worried that it's going to be extra work. Anything that you're worried about needs to come out. That way you can look at these fears and figure out what you can do to mitigate them. What would you do if these fees can true. And what could you do to avoid them? I want you to turn this around and actually see the benefits that you get from accomplishing this goal. Will you animal money? Will you learn new skills? What if you succeed? And it brings you joy when you get to do something special to celebrate, like go out for a delicious dinner or treat yourself to a facial suddenly. Highlighting these benefits helps you see the reward at the end of the goal. Instead of that punishment, the punishment is what you perceive as a results of your fears. So when the benefit of reward is greater than the risk of punishment, then you'll be able to progress through your action plan with a lot more ease and flirt. 5. Lesson: What goals should you set?: As we progress through the sweatshop, I'll guide you through setting some goals. But you might be wondering, book also actually set. So I feel quite new to goal setting. I'd encourage you to start small, especially if you feel a bit anxious or overwhelmed when it comes to both city. Don't feel pressure to sit big, inspiring a lot changing goals right now. Get comfortable with the process and learn how to set goals that you can actually achieve. And then you can stop pushing yourself further with bigger goals. One really important thing to remember when deciding what type of goal to sit is that every goal you sick should be a step towards your bigger picture. If you can remember that, then you'll never, ever gone wrong with goal-setting. Theory can be really, really helpful to look ahead into where you want your business to be in a couple of years or even 12 months down the track. So thinking about the vision that you have for your business and what you want it to look like in the future. If you struggle to see that far ahead and many business owners to then start by thinking about what you want in a couple of months time. Think about what you can do right now. That will be a step towards the future that you are envisioning. That will help you determine the goals, he said. And in the next part of the guided workshop, I'm going to walk you through how you can figure out exactly what goals will help you achieve the most progress. 6. Lesson: Our fears and doubts: Hi there. In this lesson I'd like to talk about overcoming are in blockers because they play quite a significant role in stopping us from achieving our goals. So ad blockers come in form of fees and doubts. First, some people setting goals can be really motivating. Other people feel really, really anxious and fearful and daunted by the thought of setting goals to the point where they actually don't even sit them to begin with because they think that they're going to fail. Regardless of where you are on this spectrum, whether you're really, really motivated by setting goals or whether you feel really anxious at the thought or anywhere in between. Regardless of where you sit, you are likely to still experience fees and dance in relation to the goals that you set. Fees and doubts can be a significant blocker for us. And our fees are a natural response and natural and healthy response that is designed to keep us safe from harm. From an evolutionary perspective, the more we fear the safe, what we're going to be. But unfortunately, those fees can also prevent us from stepping outside of our comfort zone in accomplishing our goals. And I just want to talk about some of the things that we may actually be afraid off. Because if you, if you are listening to this course, participating in this course and you are not really sure what I mean by fears and doubts like, what have I got to be afraid off? Then I want to talk about it because as you learn the fears and doubts that you may experience, some of them may resonate with you and you may think too. You may think back to times where experienced those fears and doubts. And so you can therefore link it to how it stopped you from accomplishing what you wanted to accomplish. So let's look at some fees and deaths. One of the main, one of the main features that we can experience is a fear of failure. So examples of those could be feared being seen as a failure. Fear of looking stupid, fear of repeating mistakes that you've previously made or seen others make in the past. And the fear of things not working out as well as you had hoped. On the other end of the spectrum. You can also fear success. And that can exams bit unusual, why would we fear success? But it comes in the form of the unexpected. You may be afraid of what's going to change, unforeseen changes that you are not prepared for. Some people may be afraid of what they might lose. If the goals succeed, if they succeeded, they go. There may be a fear of who you may become. If you achieved that goal. Fear of additional unmanageable responsibility or effort, and fear of if you achieve something, will it be taken away from you? Another key fear is the fear of judgment. And that can look like the fear of being embarrassed by something, fear being criticized by others, particularly by people that you look up to. Fear of disappointing others or even yourself. Fear of disapproval or fear of being in the spotlight. So these fears ignite a natural mechanism, a natural response, because we are actually biologically programmed to avoid what we're afraid of. If we see something that we're afraid of will run because it keeps us safe. And with those threats in mind, we will subconsciously naturally, almost instinctively act out certain behaviors that stalkers from taking action and its own avoidance mechanism. It, the women's mechanisms stop us from having to actually realize that fear and deal with the consequences. 7. Lesson: Self-sabotaging behaviours: So these fears ignite a natural mechanism and natural response because we are actually biologically programmed to avoid what we're afraid of. So I just want to talk about self-sabotage. And self-sabotage is the behaviors or actions that we take that helped to keep us in a comfort zone. And that comfort zone keeps us safe from getting hurt or from dealing with the fear of failure or dealing with the fear of success and the self sabotaging behaviors. They go unnoticed because they're instinctual, they're invisible. We don't even know that we're doing them. And we'll just talk a little bit about what the self sabotaging behaviors are. Procrastination is a self sabotaging behavior. Not showing up, which is the equivalent of running away, being indecisive, prolonging the finish line. And that could look like continually adding more things you need to do to your goal in order to accomplish it. Over planning spending. Now planning is fantastic. Planning is a great way to make accomplishing your goal a lot easier. But if you overplan, you're just avoiding the finish line. So I just want to put things into a bit of context and how you would see these fees and deaths and self sabotaging behaviors come into how you would experience them. So let's look at Natalie as an example. Nathalie's a graphic designer. And for most of her most of her work is working one-on-one with clients. But she hasn't goal to create and launch a new course where she teaches do it yourself graphic design techniques to other business owners. Who says her goal and she's really excited about it, but she has a few doubts. And these deaths could be, she's worried that the course will be a flop, which is fear of failure. She's scared that some people think that it's terrible and not buy it or ask for refunds. That is fear of judgment. Or she's worried that there's going to be a heap of extra work involved if the course is a success, which is fear success. So despite the fact that Natalie is really excited about this goal, she experiences these doubts and fears as niggling feeds in the back of her mind. She doesn't really think that there's an issue with self sabotaging behaviors. If we have these fees, no matter how small and insignificant they feel. For example, if you have a fear of failure or if Natalie has the fear of failure. We got into subconsciously avoid the danger sign. And from an evolutionary perspective, we avoid what makes us scared. So just like we would avoid walking into long grass because we know there's a likelihood of a snake being in there. We're going to avoid that area. So when my goal sitting if we have those fears, were going to avoid the finish line. Because at the finish line as a goal, that's where our fear is. At its closest threat. We're going to avoid that. We're going to try and avoid that field from coming through. So going back to Nathalie's goal, able to know that she feels like her fees aren't affecting him. There are quite a few key behaviors. They can indicate that she's avoiding something, she's avoiding a danger. And one of these features could be the 0, one of these behaviors, sorry, could be that she wants to work on her course. She's really excited about working on a course. She always seems to just find out the little jobs that she needs to do that a more important like filing or checking, e-mails, scrolling, social media. That's a form of procrastination. And you might find Natalie saying things like, Oh, I'll just take care of aids, few other jobs and then I'll get stuck into it. But she never does. So another self sabotaging behavior that Natalie might exhibit is that she can't sit on a suitable name for her course, and therefore she can't launch it. So that indecision is mind's way of avoiding the finish line or of winning the dangerous line. Perhaps she's recorded a whole heap of videos, but feels like they're not good enough quality to put out in the world or it's not good enough to charge for. So she wants to rerecord these videos into it. She's happy. This is a form of perfectionism, which is another avoidance mechanism. So Nathalie's avoidance behaviors, even though they don't seem like much. It's her mind's way of helping her stay away from that threat. It's helping her stopping her fears when coming true. It's also stopping her from launching her course, which is her ultimate goal. And so these are herself sabotaging behaviors. Whenever fear response is helping us to stay safe from a real threat, it's helpful when our fear response holds us back from accomplishing our goals. That's when it's called self sabotaging behaviors. And we need to overcome these fees in order to move forward. So in order to overcome our fears, we need to we need to overcome those fees in order to reach the positive thing at the other end of this goal that we desire. So if we focus on our fears, we are fearing failure, fearing judgement, fearing success, and anything that comes along with that. That's, we're avoiding that danger zone, but we're also avoiding the positive outcomes. So fulfillment, the feelings of accomplishment and the motivation that comes from it. Feeling like you're contributing to helping more people, more money that you earn from it, stability or more time. So our goals could give us those outcomes as long as we can avoid those fears. 8. Lesson: Overcoming our fears and doubts: So I already becoming these fears, there's quite a few techniques. And depending on depending on the type of fear and how, how much you feel that fear. You may use just one technique or you may need to use many. So I'll quickly go through some of those techniques that you can explore. First step is always awareness. The more you're aware of your fees, the easier it is to overcome. So you need to manage when you know what you're dealing with. So ask yourself, what am I afraid of? What am I daffy? And you can journal that as well. You can generate all of these prompts if you find it helpful. Can you analyze the sphere? Can you reason with yourself? Because sometimes logic is enough to reassure your minds that there's no actual threat and therefore no fear. So ask yourself, what is the likelihood that these fear will actually come true? Preparing for, preparing your response, if the fear actually comes true. Can you plan your response in case this becomes true? And sometimes the anticipation of the anticipation of something is more crippling and anxiety inducing than the actual threat itself. So sometimes if we can be more prepared than we can eat and we can reduce our anxiety or fear response. So you can journal or ask yourself, how will I manage the situation if this fear comes true? The power of positivity, encouraging positive thoughts I've been negative possibilities can help you overcome the fear. So ask yourself, what's the positive outcome that I'm aiming for? Can you create a positive affirmation around that and repeat it regularly. Sorry that your belief, your belief in the positive outcome can overpower the fear of failure or if you're successful fear of judgment. If you're a fan of vision boards, this one is helpful if you can visualize a reward and remind yourself of the amazing feelings that you could have been accomplishing this goal. It can help you minimize the fear response because you're focusing on the positive reward instead of the threat. We evidence seeking creatures. Whatever we believe is what we'll build evidence at. What will, what we will, sorry, what we believe we find evidence for. So if you can visualize the reward and believe in yourself and your capabilities and your ability to achieve that goal. We can build evidence that the threat is not real, that you can overcome it, and that you can achieve your goal. And sometimes this takes repeated action to build confidence. So something that you can do, take small steps every time you achieve a small step and celebrate that. It builds evidence in your mind that you are capable of achieving this without suffering the, the threat or the fear from coming true. So your activity is to reflect on past achievements to help you build that evidence. And finally, I want to talk about healing and forgiveness. And this is especially true if the fear we're experiencing is a result of a past, past negative event or trauma. And we want to heal from that. In order to overcome our fears. Often, when we suffer a trauma or a negative past event, we aren't allowed to feel the feelings that we should have felt in the moment. So your action to start healing and forgiving is basically to reflect on what happened then. So if you are understanding the field that you're encountering and you can relate that back to a past event. Revisit that past event sometimes that can be hard, but revisit that and allow yourself feel what you should have felt back then, That's the first step to healing and forgiveness. If somebody, if you're afraid of judgment because somebody has said that they're disappointed in you or they said You can never amount to anything else, Something like that. Try to forgive them if you can, but also forgive yourself. Thank your body and your mind for wanting to keep you safe from wanting to avoid that threat or facing that punishment again. But acknowledge that you now need to move on so that you can grow and achieve your goals. So just to sum up on next lesson, fears and dance. A natural instincts that keep us safe from harm, but they also stop us from accomplishing our goals. So those natural instincts that used to save us from being eaten by a saber-tooth tiger. Now just stop us from achieving our goals. So what we can do by understanding how they work is we can appreciate those natural instincts, but we can also move past them so that we can grow and reach fulfilment and things that we've always wanted to achieve in our business. 9. Practical: Brainstorming your ideas: In the previous videos, I've gone through a few important aspects of goal setting. And now I'd like to start actually cynics and goals with you. For the practical component of this workshop, you'll need to get a few things ready. You'll need the goal-setting workbook that I've provided along with this workshop. And he can eat the prince down head write your goals. Well, you can talk directly into the fields as long as you have a compatible PDF reader. If you don't have a PDF reader that allows you to type in the fields, head over to Adobe.com and download a diving radon, which is free software that will allow you to talk directly into the PDF. So if your handwriting, I need a pen and some highlight is we'd be good too. So feel free to pause this video if you need to go and organize those things now. First thing I want you to do is to brainstorm some ideas. This is an important step because it helps you get ideas out of your head and onto paper so that you can see everything in front of you which helps you make better decisions. So take some time now to brainstorm some of the ideas that you've been thinking about for your business or the changes you want to make in your business. Do you have new service that you want to launch? You may be implementing some new systems or software. Say something new you want to start doing. Really take your time here and explore the ideas that are going through your mind. And don't worry about making decisions just yet. Just get your ideas down onto paper. So pause the video again while you do this brainstorming. So by now, you should have some really good ideas in front of you. You're not necessarily going to action all of these ideas. So don't feel overwhelmed by what's in front of you. The value of this exercise is in drawing everything out of your mind so that you can make some intentional decisions for your next step. Reflect on the ideas that you've written down. Remember how I mentioned in an earlier lesson that all of your ideas should be a stepping stone towards you'll be the pitcher. Keep that in mind while you look onto the ideas that are in front of you. And he's a few things I want you to consider. Which of things ideas will help you make progress towards you bigger picture. Which of these ideas do you have the capacity to manage right now? All of your goals are going to help you make progress, which you won't always have the capacity to manage them at the same time. And it's for this reason that I recommend that you limit yourself to know moles and three goals in any month. So looking at the your ideas highlight will circle three ideas that you know will help you may fall within your business and just check in with yourself to make sure that you have the capacity to take on those goals this month. If you have a particularly busy month ahead, or if you're feeling a little bit overwhelmed by the ideas in front of you that just choose one of your ideas that you'd like to focus on for the man. In the next video, we're going to start planning out your goals. You know, a little bit more detail. 10. Practical: Write your goal statement: Several we've done so far is we've brainstorm some ideas just to get them out of our mind. And we've chosen 123 ideas that we would like to focus on for our goals this month. Your next step is to go into a little bit more detail with your goals. So choose one for now. And I'm lucky to outline your goal in a statement. So if statement could be a sentence or it could be a paragraph that outlines what your desired result is for the goal. So take your idea, think about what is the end result you would like for your goal. And then turn that into a statement that says, I want to do the thing because and then put the reason why you want to achieve this goal. And that's a nifty little trick that you can use to just double-check with yourself that you are aligned, you, you'll be good picture. Because if you have to prompt yourself to think about why your setting this goal, then it helps make sure that your mind and you're still on the path that you want to be on. Survived a sentence or a paragraph that outlines your desired result for this goal. 11. Practical: Create your plan of action: So now you've written your goal outline for your mom to three goals. The next step is to spend time creating a plan of action. And this is a really, really important step. Because the more time you can spend on planning, the easier it is to actually do the thing. So what I'd like you to do now is grab yourself a piece of paper where you can brainstorm all the different steps that you would need to do in order to see the skull from where you are now to completion. Some people like to do this in a forward movement manner. So if they start from where they are now and they think about what is the next step I need to do? Then what is the next step that I need to do, and so on and so forth. And you can map out your plan that way. Other people like to reverse engineer this process and they'll start with the end result in mind, and then we'll text it backwards. What do I need to do in order to get there? And then what do I need to do before that? And what do I need to do before that? So if either of those ways resonates with you in that time, you want to map out your plan of action. Absolutely go for personally are not that organized. I like to just brainstorm and brand up all the things that I need to do on a piece of paper. And then I can organize it into a logical order later. So whichever way works for you is the way that I want you to do this. The key is to get as much as you possibly can so that you can create a better plan of action. So pause the video now, and I want you to go ahead and brainstorm all the steps that you need to take, all the equipment that you're going to need, all the software or the manpower, anything that you are going to need in order to create your plan of action. So in your goal-setting workbook, you'll see that there is a checklist under your plan of action. Can use this to antiviral steps into logical order. So what we'll have then is your goal statement and your plan of action. 12. Take action on your goals: Now that you've got a clique all statement that outlines what you want to accomplish. And you've got a plan of action to work with. Your next step is to take action. Many business owners can get stuck here. They say calls that don't work on them and therefore don't accomplish anything. I don't want that to be, sorry, There's a few tips and tricks that I want to share with you that's going to help you in taking action on your goals. Firstly, make sure you block out dedicated time to work on the items in your plan of action. This is non negotiable. See our ton. So do I feel guilty that bulking out and our row 2 out of your week to work on earth separate. I want you to put your goal on display somewhere in your workspace and some big way he can see it. And these keeps it in the back of your mind so that you don't forget about it. And this happens a lot. People set goals but then forget about them and months roll on by and nothing has progressed. Thirdly, I want you to celebrate your progress. So he's a little brain hack for you. If we can have a little reward for checking off tasks that we've done, then our motivation is boosted. Were more motivated to continue doing the thing that gave us the reward. So we'll keep doing it. It's similar to those reward charts that we create for our kids when they're learning something new. The reward that they get motivates them in a positive way into repeating the same action. So we can do the sign. Take a look at your plan of action. Can you see any way that you can put a marker in the plan to show when you're halfway there or even 25 percent of the way there and then 75 percent of the way there. Or perhaps you can split up your plan of action into three stages. And every time you reach the end of the stage, you celebrate with the progress you've made. Nate, the potential reward to add shine the possibility of punishment. This is why every time you celebrate progress, you provide the evidence to your mind that you can achieve things. Your perception of goal-setting will change and your ability to work through your plan will become easier and you'll fees white home as much power over you. So take a moment to find opportunities for celebration in your plan of action. 13.
