About This Class

Painting micro miniatures is fun, but can be difficult. In this class I will show the students tips, tricks, and techniques that I've learned over the years to help them get started with painting your own micro mini Art works.

I have also include some of my own secrets which I have learned over the years for getting the best results possible.

I hope to inspire them to create their own miniature Masterpieces.

For a detailed lesson on Practice I highly recommend the students watch this class first (at least Chapter 3 on Practice) to get familiar with it.

1. Introduction: Hi everyone, This is Omega and I'm a watercolor artist, speeds and Lima, India. And since I was a little girl, I love many NGOs and when I started water coloring, then there was no exception for that slight started doing lineages and dad didn't satisfy me at all. So I started doing micrometers. And in today's class, I will teach you the techniques and tips that I use to make my micro villages. And believe me, they are super, super tiny. Okay, So here are a few of my miniatures are micro miniature paintings, watercolor paintings. And today we are going to draw one of these. And if you want to know more about me and if you wanted to see more of my vote, then you can visit me by the name, by the art book on any of the social medias. Or you can visit my website by the art for.com and find a lot of resources there. So let's move on to the next chapter and find out what are the materials that we've been repeating for today's class? And what is that we are going to teach it. 2. Materials: Alright, so let's find out what we undo being today in this mini snow scene with the media and Hollywood is what we are going to paint today in our micro miniature class. And what do you need is watercolor. Bieber got into a small piece like this while you've got it after I been so I just mark that you are one centimeter. You can also use a magnifier if you're not comfortable with mini paintings. And this are being default today. So let's start with it in the next lesson. 3. Let's Paint the Sky: Okay, so let's start with the painting. Just use this clean water. And I'm listing this be born on this pebble. You can use a book or anything similar that you have available the tube. And on the top bar. And just put demolition. Symbian blue. That's it for now. 4. Drawing the House: So now we are good to go with some lag if you are not comfortable doing it like this, you can also just go ahead and take your pencil and make sure that it's nice and sharp. And then just draw a square just semester tail and saying this and this. And we actually know unless site Skyping, That's the next step, is to go ahead and start painting the trees. 5. Let's Paint the Trees: So you can do as many as you want. I'm doing manual, I'm just taking sap green. And one will be here near the house and just take an ideal sap green. And then just in a triangular shape, just like the Christmas J's or by increase, we just start out the door and leave some little white gaps. And they just keep coming. No. Just make it a little bit broad as income known. Anything that a little bit this one. My bad. You can then a little blue, the green and just change its own melody. And the same technique, too much blue, so I'm just getting rid of the level. And then you seem technique that doesn't like gaps to keep coming up. And then you can actually start, go on to this old channels human there. Again, not competent with it this day. You can always thought it would be good. And at this level down to this one as T and I think we need a little bit more space, so I'm just going it is indispensable. Teacher. Just try to stay the same size. 6. Let's Paint the House: And then we can move on to the red. Nice, this, using this nice bright red and the ego and the lungs. And appeal. Always make sure that you understand your hands veil that we prevent any kind of shaking or anything. And so that's it. And we have a good idea to have some Joseph, not a big deal. And then for this model we can add on to front. And then you can just see Thanks in the tissues. I think that's it for me wanted to overdo it. But instead it is dry. We can fill in the yellow and the house. Can you show the effect of lights inside light environments side? And for the bull ram not be anything, then feed speed is more than just blackberry thought for the adult, the null. And then we can move on and do ions mania. And then says is dry, you do this more and use this little tiny fence and add a little bit more detail in the next. But the glyphs. 7. Painting the Snow: Okay, so let's start with the remaining buds. And after scoring and making on a mountain of snow here like this. And a tiny one on the side. And just ups more sharp brush. And we just need to spread this nicely tissue on this extra Slovenian. Just keep repeating this until we have a baby sucking and sentences. And then again to make it nice and clean. So that's it. 8. Painting the Fence: And we will use some bond on both on the fence. If you're going to do lines that as well and good, otherwise, you just do one line. Simplest time making the bonds and then link this one. And then one more. Simply scan continue to the end of the paper. And then one we can make on this side. I can do bots and this my laundry ones if you can do to expand and good, otherwise you can just do white counts. So that's it. And the friends. And the new black, you can add again. Unlock the anemia may become just got a fever. And it's just and then again split that on spontaneity. 9. Final Touch Ups: And here we have little hard lines, so we just go ahead up here. And that's the that's the part with the snow and then near the household so we can add a little more dark area. Just to show a little bit shadows here. Not too much, just take a look and then just one piece. But if I separate nicely spaced some names that you won't have much to offer courses. Just to show them that the general idea that spot to paint. This can be done. Us Senate stays a little later in this one, the best to keep. And then you can just take your scissors and then images of people to manage. Those patients, keep kids, to keep it to two points. So that's quite a bit. I hope you enjoy them and you think that either today or at the micro indie band in that data today and shock them either at your rock as your class project. 10. Class Project: Okay, so for your class project, I want you to try the same bending. And if you define the scale a little difficult, you can always try it on a slightly bigger paper which is due by two centimeter or three by three centimeter. So if you have a release schedule, click this line here, then you can use that also and try this and that. And the dry do include all the elements that we have done. And don't worry if you're not able to get it in the first step. You have to practice and distinct same. The only blinders on and make sure that your paper is not very rough. And make sure that your hands are nice and study. For that you need to practice a little more. So I just want you to meet these on the spending and submitted as your class project. You can just take it in your hand like this, or please fit on your KM. Okay, let's use this one or place it on your come like this and just take a picture of it and upload it as your class project. And let's have some kind of goods. And the next session. 11. Final Thoughts: So I hope you enjoyed this migration age of being deemed that we did today. And I'm looking forward for your submission and if you liked my work, and if you would like to see more of it than you can visit my website, which is by the odd book, got golfer a furious for so many resources, we glosses and three downloads to just visit that.
