1. Introduction: Welcome to this beginner friendly Procreate class focused on drawing lips. In this lesson, we will use Procreate simple and powerful tools to help you create clean and structured lip drawings. Even if you never used the application before, all you need is your iPad, Procreate, Apple pencil or any stylus. We will start by setting up your canvas and choosing the right brush and then move into breaking lip down to simple shapes, too, so the process feel very easy and manageable. Instead of jumping into complex details, we will focus on building the strong foundation, learning how to sketch the basic form, place the upper and lower lips correctly, and use procreate features like layers and opacity and layer modes to refine your drawing. I will guide you through adding light, shading, create a depth and volume showing how small changes can affect the overall expression. By the end of this lesson, you will have a simple but well structure, digital lip drawing and better understanding of how to use procreate effectively. Remember, improvements comes with practice, so don't worry about perfection. Just enjoy the process and keep drawing. Let's tie in. 2. How to Draw Lips: Welcome again. At this part, we will talk about how to create lip quickly. Lip shape is basically like this, like you painting this shape to the middle and open paint opened like letter, but much more opened for both sides and connect it to the corner softly and paint some line like this at the down part. With this method, we can create a lip like this. This is from the front wave like this. And if you want to make your lip much more, for example, this angle, then you need to paint the two line and start the letter will start from this part this time and will come like this. Because our lip is looking a bit much more to the left. And it will end like this. Yeah. And if you paint from the left angle directly, it will be something similar to this. Yeah. Basically like this, it is simple, and you can paint the lip with simple shapes like experimental and, for example, imagine box like this. We will find the middle of it. Like this. And at this point, this point is the middle point of the lip and connect the corners and paint the V from here and connect to the corners and do it like this without V, and there's a V. And if you collect the Everything, clearly, you will get some shape like this. So lips have lip filler, so the V shape will gone. For example, I will paint, and the down part also will be like this. Not every lip have this V shape. It is depending on how the lip have filler or not. Hope you enjoy this part and see you in the next video. 3. Sketching Lip: Welcome. In this class, we will paint realistic lip together. At first, we need to start with base color. And I selected this color for the base color, and I'm painting slowly the base of the lip. And after we define the background, we need to paint the sketch of the lip. At this point, you need to define where it looks, and it is a bit looking right in my painting. Just like this. I'm defining the general shape of the lip and will make it like much more at the middle. After these details, select a darker color and the base color for the lip and make the base color softly. And I'm adding a bit much more lighter effect. 4. Coloring Lip: Just like this. And at the highlight points, we need to make it much more visible. And this time, I'm creating the shadow part of the lip. And this part will be a bit much more darker. I like this. And also this part will be lighter. Just like this. And after this, I will select the skin color, and some parts of the painting will be darker, like the under lip. And these corners will be much more lighter. Just like this. Yeah. And I will add much more highlights here. Yeah. And after you describe these details, you can zoom in and put much more shadows over here and much more lights over the lip. For example, this part includes small details just like this. And because we are using soft brush, we need to define the textures much more clearly. And for created, we need to use much more detailed brush. For example, I'm edding some shadows over here and here. And here. Yeah. And this part will be like this. And this part will be much more lighter. Like this. And I will use much more. Yeah. And this part will be much more lighter. After this, I will go to the adjustments and I will increase the saturation a bit much more and I will play with the curves to make it much more realistic and zoom in and open nf layer with a smooth line brush. This time we will add small details over the Just like this. Yeah. And the middle point will be much more 5. Painting Details: Tail like this. And for the top of the illustration, you can use line here just like this and create some textures over the lip Yeah. And this part will be much more textured. You can increase the detail level as you wish, and it is totally depending on your choice because some lips are darker and some lips have makeup, and some of them is much more natural. So you need to decide yourself to making it detailed or, like, without makeup or with makeup. Yeah, and this part will be like this, and the litle details will be here. And Yeah. And like this. And I will add some much more light effects here, just like this. And maybe this part can have lidal highlights. Just like this and these parts will be darker. The lip is connected to the skin, so it will be better if you make the connection points much more softly. And it is really important point for creating the realistic lip. For example, addicted a bit much more light color for creating the texture of the lip. And the endpoint here will be like this. And some points will be much more lighters, like this. And let's zoom in and in some parts we can use the darker tones like this for making it much more effective and realistic, just like this. Yeah, it is looking really better right now because it looks like cherry effect with the lighter details, it looks really, really nice. And thank you again for joining me in this video and see you in the next video. 6. Complete Illustration: Welcome to the next part of the painting o. In this part, we will use blend tool like smooch tool, and we'll conected layers and we'll use the brush like this for make it look much more smooth transactions between the colors. You can use any soft round brush with love spacing and it creates a really good blend on the colors. So with this technique, we blending the color really softly and really nicely. And after this part, we will go to smooth shading again, you can use any airbrush for this option, and we'll add some much more soft colors to the lip, just like this. These parts will be much more lighter. M. Yeah. And the other parts will be like this, much more darker and and zoom in here and use really v brand colors. This time we will increase the highlights of the lip. Because we used the smooth shading brush, and we lose some textures, and I want to make it much more realistic. So I take the light brush again and applied a bit much more textures over the lip. Again, thank you for joining me in this class. See you in the next videos.
