By the end of this class, you will have a strong understanding of procreate essential tools and techniques. You will complete your own digital flower illustration with vase. Most importantly, you will feel more confident creating digital art and ready to continue developing your own unique style. Let's tie in. 2. Starting Sketch: This video, we will paint a flower vase in aesthetic way. At first, start from the sketch. So just focus on the composition and don't rush and try to see the whole scene and without thinking about the details. With this way, we will create really good waist design, and I will start from the simple sketch here. And I think like a golden effects here and here, maybe. And it can be different like I will show you. Maybe these parts will be thinner like this, and these parts are really bigger. And this part can be less bigger, and flowers will float here and here, like it. And there will be background here. And after putting these all details, open a new layer and select a multiple layer mode. Then go to the brushes and select really dark brush. Depending on your choice and start to adding some volumes to the painting. For example, I start with really dark color, open nf layer and this time, select overlay layer mode and we paint this part like this. And this part and since it is a golden, we need some golden reflections. And I'm trying to figure out how to make it. And I will start from the white one like this and like this. Maybe it can be lighter, a bit lighter, maybe. And this part here and here. You need to put really good amount of these dark colors because golden for making the golden textures, we need some really dark tones to catch the effective lights. And for the other parts, we will use white color for the ways. But of course we need some darker tones for this part. I'm just trying to define the general colors. I like it. And for the ground, I will paint a bit much brown color. After putting these details, open a new layer and select airbrush and collect all layers with pinching fingers together and go to the adjustments, and it's saturation a bit and down to brightness. Okay, and open leaf layer and use the dark colors and apply all over your painting. With this method, we define the light part. For example, light comes from this part and other areas in the dark. Like the focus point of our illustration is the top of the vase. So right now, open here, longer. 5. Painting Details: Like this, and I will paint the leaves of it. But at first, I'm just trying to add much more lines for the waste. And for example, I paint leaves here. And here like this. And this part zoom in here. So leaves can look different, just like this because if the all leaves will be similar, it will be boring. So I'm adding the different kind of volumes here. And I select a white, and this time, I will paint much more daisies. And some daisies are different. For example, these daisies looking different way. And the other daisies are looking different way. It is totally adding the illustration, much more movement, and nothing in real life is like copy paste. So you need to paint things differently and spontaneously. Everything has balance, but this balance is not means everything needs to be look same. You need to find balance in like color theory and different kind of adjustments for colors and different kind of details. All of them is important important for create the really great scene. And for example, it looks so rich, right? And maybe we can even have some orange flowers here, just like this. And after you put these all details, go to layers opening layer and select screen and select some light orange light here and apply, like like like this, like this. And it will give your illustration much more sucanar look and open another new layer after you put your lights and select color dag. Color Dutch is another good tool for pop up your illustration colors just like this. I added really cool light here and looking really great. And this time, we will start painting some like a really deep details and we'll finish the illustration. For this, I will use paint iterly brush because I want to give this illustration much more painterly and natural look. Airbrush give us really speed up our process, but sometimes you need to use paintiibush if you want to add a characteristic or illustration, you need it because by the way, I didn't like the ending of this vise, so I will make it like this. And this part like this and it will be and like this. I hope you enjoy this change like this. I'm adding like this. Maybe this part is darker too, and this part like this and like this, these parts have really good lighting here. And of course, we need to put the shadow thing again here, and maybe we can have much more lighter background here, just like this. And this part will be really lighter, too. But of course we need a shadow for make it a really realistic and 6. Complete Painting: I will make this part much more darker. And for flowers, I will select much more brand colors and some different shadows and lights and we'll add some rich colors to the flowers and textures. For example, this part can be much more different like this. And these shadows of the ways will be much more visible. And the light source, I decided to make it the left just like this. So we need to add some really light effect here to keep balance between the format like this. And some flowers with the highlights can be in the light. For example, the simple touch like this will give your illustration much more skinny look and great. And for example, these parts in the shadow, so you can make these leaves much more darker at some parts of the illustration. And I will add much more daisies here, just like this. Yeah. And I part like this. I will make the ground much more wooden texture like this. And maybe we have some fabric here, just like this at the scene for make it much more interesting, like this. And we can even make it like it's how to say it? Like, making it a design here, like it is it is much more connected here and here like this. And for the task of the ase, I will make this part much more visible and with one line just like this or make it look much more realistic. Just like this. And these areas, the connection point of the shadow and light can be orange tones for making it even extra interesting. And this part is dark. Just like this. And these parts comes like this. I hope you enjoy this process, and for last touch, I will add some color touch effect on this part and maybe this part. And like this. Hope you enjoy this process and can't see you too. I mean, I can't see I can't wait for see your works. And thanks a lot for joining this class. I will add a bit much more daisies and we'll finish this. Thanks a lot for joining in this class.
