1. -Introduction: Brushes, how do you feel about them? A friend or acquaintance. Just an extension of your arm? I'm a dreamer who drinks are making on a bottle. Everybody, right? Not just a subject in school with some sleep memories that dream in mind. I have created a beautiful glass in which I will be telling you about the brushes, how to fold them. What is the quality of a good brush? And many, many more things. In this class, there'll be playing mega brushes and creating some fun strokes with a brush. See how we get taken lines, thin lines, various strokes are the brushes. Not only this, we will also be decorating and learning to paint few objects with the brushes. And see how using brushes in different ways can create this magical objects. Knowing your supplies and to be able to use them in the first step in building a strong watercolor foundation. So get ready today. First step towards your watercolor journey and enjoying the class. You can find me on Instagram at the rate of travel to McCandless. Don't forget to download your e-book from the Diigo guide you completely above all supplies needed for watched a beatings. Do follow me on Skillshare or regular piece about my class. 2. WHAT IS A GOOD BRUSH ?: Hey, everyone In this class, we will be knowing about brushes and different brush strokes. You'll start with, let's start. What are the characteristic features of a good brush? So the number one characteristic of a good brush is it's water absorbing quality. So good brush should absorb a lot of water. It can be a synthetic hair on her natural hair. So these are all the natural hair brushes. Even you can use synthetic, good water-holding capacity brush. The second thing which we have to look for a good brush, watercolor brush, is the tip. Even born brush is enough. I always prefer quality or quantity, but that one brush should have good tip, as you can see here. And fix a long brush. Then comes what are the types of brushes? So they are mostly two main types of brushes. One is flat brush with flat line, as you can all see. And the second round brushes with good tip and rounded. This one. The third one, rigor is an additional brush, which is highly recommended to have. Re-install is luxury if you can have van to go. Otherwise, just three. These types are in a flat brush, round brush, and rigger brush. So that's it about a good brush and the types of brush. Let's dive in into our next class. 3. PARTS OF A BRUSH: Now let's look at the parts of the flesh. So branches divided into mean the three parts. The handle of the brush, which can be of any material would mostly would. Then the fatal which, and the Tufte, the ferrule is a path which connects the tough and a 100 of them. Most of the people hold the brush from the field, but then you are more relaxed. You can often hold your brush from the handlers there. And the tough part, this is the most important part, which is further divided into two parts, the tip and the baby. The baby is the part where you hold the maximum color and the maximum Watteau. And the tip is about, which be used for fine detail. So let me revise the brushes divided into three parts. The Hampton fatal, connecting the tuft and the handle, and the top. The top but Tufte is further divided into two parts. The belly or the water reservoir and the tip. So that's it. 4. How To Hold A Brush ?: Let's see what are the different visa holding your brush. So then do mean means of holding a brush. One is the classic, angry and the other is clench, in which we hold our brush like this. And this will mostly use for splattering. Again. Now, if I look and divide it further, this classic bank grip, I can divide it into three main paths in one in which I'm tilting my brush a little bit at an angle around 25 degrees. The other in which I'm tilting it a little more at an angle approximately 45 degrees. And one in which I'm holding my brush, in which I'm holding my brush straight at an angle of 90 degrees. So these are the three ways in which I can divide the angle of my brush. Okay. Now once the grid, I'm going to tell you about the holding the brush. Or you can see that we can judge us trust level while painting. Clue the holding of her brush. How many I'm painting. Just see from Ben, you are holding your brush. If you're holding from the pharaoh and holding it very tightly, then move that you are at a high stress level. I add little bends while painting, you're not enjoying it. So far, the more ceramics and fun painting, it is always advised to go with the flow of water watercolors and hold your brush from the fired. And only when giving the details, we hold our brush from the Pharaoh and giving many and focus on many, many minute details and minute part, then you will have brush from the field. Isn't it interesting to know how the holding of brush can let us know about that stress condition by painting. Okay, so now let's dive into our next session. 5. PLAY WITH BRUSH : Collect all your brushes, and let's get ready to play with their branches. In this section, we're going to use all the knowledge which we have used. And we will just see different, different plates, bit, different brush strokes. We are going to use all the knowledge which we have gathered so far. And we will be creating different brush strokes using different angles, different holding positions and different brush. So now let's get really, doesn't matter how many brushes you have. Even these three pleasure that enough, this vine brushes enough. But it is necessary to know your brush and play your brush. Before diving into any built-in. For sampling with my round brush, loading my brush. First I'm going to play with the body of the brush. So loading the color, the water reservoir or Tufte or the belly. And then just seeing the magic. I am using full body of my brush. Putting more pressure. This time, I'm using the body of our brush a little pressure. Little pressure. More water and less water. Now you playing with the tip of my brush. And let's see what I can create with the tip of my brush. You can create this dots, right again. So with more pressure, I am decreasing the pressure. Pressure. Pressure, less pressure. The more pressure you put by using the tip. The ticker will be the line and the left pressure tenable the line. There'll be tilting my brush and various angles and see what it can create that approximately at a 45 degree angle. By using clinch, I can create this platters. This is running my brush. My brush. You can play five minutes. This use this different techniques. Annoy your brush pen. Now let us take a flat brush. You have to just keep in mind that you are using all the angles. You're varying the pressure. Using the body. When the body see what happens when you use the body of the brush. See what happens. And he used the default mesh. See what happens when you boost your brush. And brush. It is a great way to discover your style. Should be well aware about all your supplies and take out time to play with them. So I'm using more pressure. Then I'm experimenting what will happen? And then using less pressure than Nancy, what will happen? Can you see if I'm giving less pleasure, then I love textures coming. Using more pressure than a smooth textures. You'll get to know various thing, you restore various things and many new things while you are doing this leaf, I'm super excited to see what you create. From this exercise. I'm going to play with my rigger brush. Rather rash is all about creating lines. Create beautiful lines. And it depends how many, how much pressure you are applying, how much color you are using in it. Bending on all of these things. How much water is there? You will get to know all these things. Bling. I can play and either regurgitation is mostly used to create straight lines. Okay, Just have fun with this. Lash plays even try and manipulating. I'll do have and just upload your assignments. I would love to see a blaze. 6. Create different Objects(part 1): This class is going to super fun as the edges going to play with. I have drawn a few objects here. And this object, I'm going to decorate them, fill colors in them just with a free mind and using different iframes, strokes or her brush. And I'm just going to play, it's all about playing with my brush strokes. If you are little worried that and cannot draw this object, I leave it template in the project and resource section. So you can always trees as a beginner if you want and use the template. For now, let's start. Simple one. Keeping in mind the edges. I'm tilting my brush and an approximate angle of 45 degree and fitting it. You're free to do whatever he wanted to do. Choose whatever color you like, and make your own creations. This makes sure that you're using all the angles, valley, glacier and flashes. You will get lot of learning, believe me, by doing these exercises. The day, to do meditation, to relax their mind and unsafe to them. And that enough, leaving these exercises are going to change. That for you. This trend to maintain kilocalorie is the boundary. They didn't know how to use the edges induce a, the objects of insurance. Pleading these different, different shapes using and trying to fill them in one stroke. Don't fill them. They Quran colored holding from a dyed stress nobody's volume fresh free hand. Tried to further colors with free hand and just see the magic which is playing. This. I want to create more is really my pleasure. And seeing what happens. No pressure, light pressure, NDDs, taking my brush. But if I use Depo-Provera, what if I use this peculiar Thank you. Need for this. But if I stand to listen to sentence establish. And if I hold it very lightly. See what a beautiful thanks we have created just using different brush strokes. 7. Create Different Objects(part 2): This class is going to super fun as the edges going to play with. So you can always trees as a beginner if you want and use that template. For now, let's start. Simple one. Keeping in mind the edges. I'm tilting my brush and an approximate angle of 45 degree and filling it. You're free to do whatever he wanted to do. Choose whatever color you like, and make your own creations. This make sure that you're using all the angles, varying the pressure. And they even their flashes. You will get lot of learning, believe me, by doing these exercises. The day, to do meditation, to relax their mind and unsafe to them. And that enough, leaving these exercises are going to change. That for you. This trend to maintain the color is the boundary that you know how to use. The edges. Induce a the objects or features. Leading lives different, different shapes using and trying to fill him in one stroke. Don't fill the Quran colored holding from a dyed stress nobody's volume fresh free hand tried to further colors with free hand and just see the magic, which is spleen. The spleen can create more is really my pleasure. And reward happens. Motivation, glacier. And it is taking my brush. But if I use Depo-Provera, use created along, this peculiar is hacking into this. What if. Instead to the sentence Memcache. And if I hold it very lightly, see what a beautiful things we have created. Just using different, different brush strokes. You can have as much fun as you want and create different things. You can see what happens when you use the body of the brush. What happens to you when you stop in the middle? It's so much fun. Tried to give bold strokes is creating a beautiful scene. Simple brush down and let it dry, and then we create some texture on it. So this is dry. Now, you can have some more fun. Maybe I'll have some fun with Merida branch. And I can put more pleasure in dense. But when using legal rash, you'll always notice that it is mostly you will get Street but not from the fetal. This we relax. So more than distinctly see and know. Take the pleasure. We read the glacier keys. I'm all excited to see you can play with the inmate. Hope. This tutorial has excited you. Nervous. The brush strokes. So what do you do? We can create simple gosh jokes. Nothing Venti. And this is good to go. Now I'll be reading assignment in the project section.
