1. Welcome! :): Hi, my name is Christine
and welcome to this new Procreate
illustration course. You will learn how
to easily create some beautiful
roses together with too sleepy cats snoozing
on a cozy pillar. This course will
teach you how to use a limited color
palette in order to create a very decorated and beautifully
balanced composition, you will make this illustration by using multiple layers and the limited number of brushes to simplify your creative process, this course is very
easy to follow. You will receive
all the guidance needed to create a
successful artwork. All you need for this
course is the iPad, the Apple pencil, and
the procreate app. If you are ready to have a relaxing time while building
up your drawing skills, Let's get into this course.
2. Background Circle and Textures: For this wonderful and simple
Procreate illustration, you will firstly need to
create a new canvas that has 4000 by 4000 pixels. This will give you plenty
of layers to work with. The color palette you will
use for this course is the coffee time color
palette that can be found in the resource
page of the course. Brushes you will
use are the inking, our mom brush and the
textured KV brush. The two brushes can be found as well on the resource
page of the course. The first thing you
will want to do is to go to the layers and
selecting the background. You will want to set its color. So let's choose this
beautiful light beige color from the bottom right side
of the color palette. Now that the background is done, you can move to the first layer. On this layer, you will create a beautiful circle in the
middle of the illustration, this circle will be
colored with this beautiful dark green
from the top left side. So let's pick it. And with the wonderful and elegant L mom brush from inking, you can shape the circle. So let's firstly trace the circle and close
it back on the top. And after this, you
will hold the pen down until the shape
becomes smooth and uniform. Now you will press
the edit button from the top and select the circle option so you can obtain a beautiful round circle. Let's drag it a little
bit to the right until it fits the center
of the composition. And then you can
grab the color from the corner and fill its shape. After this is done, you will select the Move
tool and flip the circle horizontally so you can hide that irregular
edge from the top. Now with the move tool
set that the on uniform, you want to drag the corner of the circle and make it
a little bit bigger. This circle will stand
for a background for the next elements
of the illustration. So you will want to
make it a bit bigger. After this is done, you will want to create some beautiful highlights
over the circle. So you will firstly pick
from the color palette, the middle green
from the top left. Then you will go
to the brushes and grab the QV brush from textures. Then you want to maximize
its size and lower the flow so you can
gradually build the lights. Then you will use the
selection tool to isolate the circle
from the background. Now, let's pick the brush and
from the top of the circle you will create a gradient,
making it brighter. At the top of the circle, you will make a couple
of delicate basses until the top half of the circle
seems a little more light it, after this is done, you can go to the color palette and grab the next beautiful green
from the top left corner. Now you will decrease
the size a bit and starting from the
top of the circle, you will go down with
horizontal moves. So the circle can keep its 2D Luke and not look
like a sphere tried to make this slide as uniform as you
can and use a lower flow so you can gradually build this beautiful and
delicate light. After this beautiful and
simple highlight is done, you can go to the Layers
and create another one. Now you will go to
the color palette and pick the second badge
from the right middle. And with this and
the cavea brush, you can now place around the circle focusing
on the corners, some of these beautiful color. This will make the
composition seem more concentrated in the middle, and we'll create a bright
halo around the circle. So let's create this
textured shadows, focusing a bit more
on the corners. Now let's pick from
the color palette that beautiful being from the bottom right corner and
then lowering the flow a bit. You will play some
of these pitiful being just in the corners, just to give a bit of color
to the delicate background. Let's give a few passes on
the edges of the canvas. And with this, the
background is ready for the first beautiful
decorative elements. So let's move to the next step.
3. Branch and Green Leaves: This next step you will create
some elegant branches and a couple of very simple leaves
placed along the branch. The branch will live from the bottom left
side of the circle. And we'll go up to the top right side of it
with some delicate curves. For this, you will firstly create a new layer
and select it. Then from the color palette, you will pick the
beautiful brown color from the bottom left side. After that, you will grab the
alarm branch from Inking. And now let's get a bit closer and create the lower
side of the branch, starting with one tweak, going to the left side
outside the circle, tried to use the
plasticity and elegance of the brush to create a beautiful brand
shape from one stroke. Now let's add one
more beautiful branch underneath the first one. Then from the main
branch you will go along the inside edge of the circle
till the middle of it, getting outside on the top. Let's get a bit closer and
make that angle a little bit more refined and smoke
continuing the branch, you will create an
S-shape getting outside through the right
side of the circle, keeping the lines as organic
and fluid as you can. Let's add a little twig in
the middle of the branch. Then you can get a bit closer
to the left side and add one more beautiful wiggly tweak after the shape
of the branch is done, you can select the Move
tool and set on free form. You can make the branch
of bit higher maybe. So let's drag them a bit to the top and a bit to
the bottom as well, just to make the shape
gets outside the circle. Now you will use the selection tool to
isolate the branch from the background so you can create some beautiful wood
textures across the branch. Now you will pick the brush
and from the color palette, you will grab the
beautiful badge from the top right side. You will lower the size of the brush and then
getting a bit closer, you can create a couple of
lines across the branch, trying to make them
feel organic by letting the brush move freely across
and along the branch. Let's give two beautiful lines on the branch from the top. And now you can move
to the bottom left side and create some more curves across the branches to create it feeling like the
branch is banned. A few more simple lines, and now you can
move to the end of the branch and create
a couple more lines, making them a little bit curvy. As you can see these lines, a very beautiful sense of motion and direction
to this branch. Now let's move to the left
side once more and add a couple more lines on
this wavy small twig. And now one more for the
branch from the bottom. After you are satisfied with the beautiful tree
textures you've created, you can unselect the branch. Moving on, you will create some very beautiful
and simple leaf shapes along the branch. For this, you will
firstly create a new layer and then going
to the color palette, you will pick the
beautiful middle green from the top left side. Now you can start
creating these leaves, leaving from the
bottom of the branch, the shape of these
leaves is very simple. One curve on one side and
another one on the other side, keeping the curves
nice and elongated. Now you will create one
more beautiful leaf going over the circle and then
you can feel its shape. After this, you will make them a lot smaller than the first ones. So let's add one right
here on the main branch. And then you can place
the canvas so it can be easier to draw these ovals. Let's move to the next spot on the main branch a bit higher
and create one more symbol, big leaf, and one smaller on this little twig
from the left side. As you can see, the leaves are
bigger on the main branch, a little bit smaller
on the twigs. Let's go to the
little twig and add one more simple
leaf just below it. You don't want to add too
many of them because in the next step you will add some more of a different color. So let's add one more leaf
on the tweak from the top. And now you will move to
the end of the branch and add two more leaves on the left and the
right side of it. You don't have to
rush up this process. You can take your time
and relax while creating some very simple and
free shapes of leaves. After you have finished
creating the leaves, you can move to the next step.
4. Blue Leaves and Lights: For this next step, you will want to
create some beautiful blue leaves next
to the green ones. And then you will
enrich the beauty of them with some
simple details. For that, you will firstly go to the color palette and pick the darker blue from the bottom. And now let's get a bit
closer to the bottom of the branch and start
creating the symbol leaves, placing one leaf just between
the two from the base. And then you can feel is
formed with the color. Now you can move
to the top and add one more leaf underneath
the other one. Let's make the brush
a bit smaller so it can be easier to
create the shapes. And now let's add one
more on the left side of the small twig and
maybe add one more, even smaller
underneath the first. Let's move on and place a couple more blue leaves next
to the green one. So you will get a bit closer
to the bigger one placed on the branch and add one
more over the green one. Now, you will grab
the color from the corner and fill the shape. Then let's move a
little bit lower on the branch and place one along the branch to create some more diversity
in directions. And another simple
and beautiful leaf on the right side of the twig from the top next to the other. After that, you will move to the end of the branch and add one more leaf on the
bottom of it from where the green
leaf, it's leaving. And now you will add
one more on the end of the branch, beautifully
going outside. After that, you can fill
the shape with color. Let's have a look at how
the composition is looking. Maybe it needs a couple
more blue accents. So let's add one more tiny leaf next to the one from the middle, and then you can fill its form. And now moving to the bottom, you will add one more
beautiful big blue leaf on the right side of the others. Let's make sure the shape is closed at the
bottom and then you can fill the shape because these leaves are
on the same layer, they interact with each other. So you can simply feel the surface left uncolored
from the green leaves, making the brush
a bit bigger and then simply covering
its surface. Look at how beautiful and
symbol these leaves are. Let's make them even
more beautiful by adding some veins across
them and of course, some light and shadow. For that, you will want to
firstly make a selection of the leaves so they don't interact with the
rest of the artwork. You can as well, alpha lock the layer instead
of selecting them. But this selection tool is
just as good and fun to use. Now that all the
leaves are selected, you will want to go to
the color palette and pick the dark green from
the top left corner. Now let's get a bit closer to the leaves from the
bottom of the branch and decrease the flow of
the brush so the color won't sing too harsh and dark. Now let's place a
couple of lines across the first leaves
from the bottom, tracing the lines until you made the top half of the leaf. Now you will move to the
next leaf from the top, the little ones and place your canvas so you can
feel nice while tracing the lines now to more middle veins for the
leaves from the left side. As you can see,
these lines help a lot to create that
beautiful leafy look. Now let's move to the next leads from the branch and
from the bottom of the leaves create
those middle lines that climb towards
the tip of the leaf. Such an easy process that it has so much the
look of the leaves. Now you can, now you
can move to the tip of the leaf and place
the last middle veins, making them of different lengths to create some diversity. And with that, you have finished
creating the main veins. Now you will want to
play some little accents of light on one
side of each leaf. For that, you will have to
pick from the color palette. The light gray from the middle, decrease the flow of the brush. So the slides won't seem too harsh against the delicate
color of the leaves. Now you will get a bit
closer and plays on the left side of the leaves some simple passes with the pen, one pass for each, making the light may be a
bit wider towards the deep. Now let's move to the left
side of the canvas and place some little lights across
the leaf from the bottom. Now let's move to the ones from the top and cover with
this delicate light, the left side of the leaf. As you can notice in
this illustration, the light comes
from the left side, but you can place it on
the right side as well. Now let's move to the
ones from the left. It seems these little leaves
means they're middle line, so let's give them
the little lights on one side of their edge. And now let's pick the dark green ones for
and increasing the flow and decreasing the
size of the brush and give them those
missing lines. Very delicate and simple to do. And with that, the beautiful leaves and the branch are ready to receive the beautiful
roses of this composition. So let's move to the next step.
5. First Rose Flower: In the next step, you will create the first
rows of the illustration. The rows will be
later multiplied and placed in different
spots on the branch. For that, you will
firstly want to unselect the leaves and
going to the layers, you will create a new one
on top of the others. Now, from the color palette, you will pick the light badge
from the bottom right side. With this beautiful badge
and the hormone brush, you will firstly create a drawing of the
counter of the rows. So let's increase
the flow back to maximum and decrease the size. First rows will fit nice and beautiful on the
top of the branch. So let's move in the middle of the circle and create
the petals of the rows. You will create the
first barrel shaped as a C with its lower part of
the line curve to the bottom. From the middle of the curve, you will create another one
going below the C-shape. This will be the
exterior of the petal. Now let's plays the
bottom of the rows, making a little thick spot
at the bottom of the petal. Now let's get a bit closer. Then from the bottom of the rows you will go to
the right with a curve, that line that bends back to the top middle of the rows
and now back from the bottom, let's create the
front of the petal. Now going to the right from
the bottom of the rows, you will create another curve. This will create
the sensation that the petals are
embracing each other. Now as before, let's
add one more petal on the left side below the first battle and link it
to the bottom of the rose. Now let's get a bit closer and create the
middle of the rows. So you will create a
C on the left side of the inside and double the line
in the back of the first. Now on the right side, you will repeat the process. After this, you will place a horizontal curve to signal
the middle of the rows. And now let's place a curvy line on the middle
of the rows to create, to pedal that are
embracing each other. And with that, the drawing of
the rose shape is finished. Now you can go to the
color palette and grab the light pink from
the bottom right side. And now let's read the rows
to the corner and fill each of its beautiful pedals
with this delicate pink. You can also make the rows
of a different color, but make sure it's
a light color. Southern roads can stand out on this beautiful dark green
colored background. After the petals of
the rows are colored, you will want to go
to the color palette and pick the next
beam from the top. Now you will decrease the
flow of the brush just a bit. And now let's maybe make
the brush a bit bigger. With this beautiful pink, you will create some
delicate shadows on the bottom edges of the petals to give them a sense of volume. For that, you will firstly
make a selection of the pink parts of
the rows so you can keep the counter
nice and clean. After the selection is done, you will grab the
brush and starting from the bottom right
side of the rows, you'll make some delicate
passes of this being rosy color on the bottom
side of the petals. Now you will move
to the left side of the rose and repeat the process, being careful not to pass the culture on the next battles. So let's fill the inside of
this petal from the right, you can use a darker nuance
of pink if you want to create a stronger contrasts
for this delicate roles. Now you will move to the inside of the petal from the left side, carefully filling
the inside of it. Now you can place delicate shadow on the
little bud from the middle, on its left side and on
its right side as well. Moving to the battle
from the right, Let's color the interior of the petal and for the big petal from the
left side as well. Being careful not across the
wide edge of the contour. Let's zoom out and maybe add one more little accents
of color on the middle, following the drawing
of the petal. And with that, the
rose is finished. Now you will want to find
a nice place for it. So you will use the Move
tool and set it on uniform. You will drag it top of the
branch and place it over it, where you can find a clear
space between the leaves. And with that, the
rose is finished. You can see how beautiful it is. Rows in your answers look on
the dark green background. And with that, you can
move to the next step.
6. Rose Flowers and Rose Buds: For this next Beautiful step, you will use the
first rows to create some more and place
them on the branch. For that, you will
firstly select arouse, and then you can
select the copy and paste tool from the bottom
to create a new one. Now you can grab
the second rows and drag it down so it
can be visible. Then you'll want to
flip it horizontally. And then using the work tool, you will modify its shape so it can look different
from the first. So let's play with the shape, making the petals from
the bottom of it wider, and then making the ones
from the top smaller. Let's bring the middle a
bit more to the inside. Let's select once
more the uniform tool so you can drag
it to the branch. Let's put it on the lower
side of the branch over the big leaves and
then make sure it's nicely overlaying
the leaves. As you can see, it is very
simple to multiply roses. So let's create one more, selecting back the less
rows, clicking on it. And then you can drag
the bend to the right until the entire
rows is selected. Now you can wants more, press the copy and
paste from the bottom, and then you can drag the rows to the
middle of the circle. Now this time you will
flip it vertically. And then once more
using the work tool, you will play with this shape, maybe making the rose a bit
narrower on its middle, shrinking down the
petals from the top and bringing out the middle a
bit more to the right side. And now it's ready to replaced. Let's firstly make
it smaller and pressing on the green dots
from the bottom you will drag the pen to the
top right side so the rows can face the bottom
right side of the canvas. Then you can drag it
to the right side of the branch over
the little leaves. The distance from the roses
seems pretty balanced. So let's leave it right there. Now that the roses are place, you'll want to add on the
branch just here and there, a couple of tiny rows, but so let's get a bit closer to the big roles
from the left side. And firstly, let's
go to the layers and bring together the
roses in one layer. Now, on the same
layer of the roses, Let's start to play
some rosy pink circles. So you will grab the
brush and now you can bring the flow to maximum
and lower the size. And now let's create
a simple circle. It doesn't have to
be perfectly round. Now, let's move to the
tweaks from the left and add one small bud
on the tip of this, 11 more on the
twig from the top. And then let's
move to the end of the branch to the right and add one more beautiful small bird and maybe one more
below the last. Let's zoom out and see where you can place maybe one more. After we are satisfied with the place and the
number of buds, you will go to the
color palette and grab the base color from
the bottom right side. So let's grab each of the beautiful buds and
then selecting the brush. You will want to create
some lines across the little buds to
create some kind of parallels which will
seem like the buds are formed by some
folded battles. So let's trace two lines over
the bud from the bottom and now two more curved lines
and the one from the top, fairly easy to do. Now you will move to the other
birds from the top and add these pretty lines creating two curves on each of the buds. Now for the big one, Let's bring up the flow of
the brush and the size. And now you will place a wavy curve on the bottom
and one on the top, living from near the branch. Then you will add
two more lines on the middle of the bud,
creating a V-shape. For the last button, you will add one more V-shape and the little
semicircle at the top. And with that, the roses and
the rose buds are finished. In the next step, you will
create a fluffy pink below, below the beautiful roses. So let's get into it.
7. Pink Pillow: In this step you will create a fluffy pillow for
the beautiful cats. So you will start by
going to the layers and create a new one
on top of the others. Then you will go to the
color palette and pick the light being from the bottom right
side of the palette. Then picking up the OEM brush, you will place the
canvas so you can easily create a parallel line to the bottom of the canvas. So let's trace a straight
line on the middle of the distance between the circle and the bottom of the canvas. After this, you will draw two parallel lines
leaving from each end of the line and going at 45
degrees to the left side. Let's create the first
one on the right side, and then the second one. You don't have to make
them perfectly straight. After closing the shape on the top with another
simple line, you can feel the shape of the pillow with this
beautiful pink. After the shape is filled, you will want to make the pillow seem a little more fluffy. So you'll move to the corner
from the bottom right and make the corner a little
more round and nice. Take your time to make
it very nice and oval. After this, you can move to the left side and do the same, making that corner
nice and smooth. Then you can simply fill
the shape with color. After this is done, you can move to the left
side and make the same. You don't have to enlarge
the shape too much, just enough to make the
pillow seem a bit more round. Let's move over the
corner from the top as well and make it seem
a bit more fluffy. After the shape of the
pillow is finished. And before creating the
details of the below, Let's maybe make the
below a bit wider. So you will use the move to automatic and then you can
drag it may be a bit to the bottom and to
the right side so the kids can have enough
space to sit on it. Then using the work tool, you can make the bottom
a bit more round, dragging it to the bottom
side of the canvas. After that, you can start to create some details
for the pillow. For this, you will want to
go to the color palette and pick the light burgundy
color from the middle, and then increasing the flow of the brush and decreasing
the size of it. You can get a bit closer to the pill and make
a selection of it. Now, picking up the brush, you will create some
beautiful shadows on the bottom side
of the pillow, starting from the left side bend then slowly moving to the right, making the line a bit more
wiggly in some areas. And one more little shadow at
the end of the right side. Now that the shadow is place, you will create some
highlights for that. Let's go to the color
palette and grab the beautiful bash from
the bottom right side. And with it, you will
move to the left side of the pillow and keeping a little bit of distance
from the shadow, you will draw a curvy line following the shape
of the pillow. Now you will move to the middle
of the pill and continue the highlight line from before creating two beautiful
curvy waves. Let's zoom out and see
if it needs some more. So let's get to the
right side and add one more curvy line following
the edge of the pillow. After this is done, you
will want to create some suing marks for this. You will pick from
the color palette, the dark burgundy color, and lower the size of the brush. Now you will zoom in on the
left side and place a line on the top edge of the
shadow living from the left and continuing on the
front side of the pillow. And now you will add some more short lines
placed perpendicularly. Let's continue following the
top of the shadow and then adding those very tiny but
very important details. And for the end of the pillow, continue following the
top of the shadow and add those perpendicular
short lines. Just a couple of
them will be enough. Now let's move back to
the left side and add a couple more current
lines to create that impression of volume
across the edge of the pillow. And with that, the beautiful
pillow for the cats. It's finished. Now you will continue the illustration
shaping the first cat.
8. White Cat Main Shape: In this step you will create the main shape of the first cat. For that, you will want
to add one more layer above the other ones and then
go into the color balance. You will be the brightest
white from the top right side. Then using the white
and the hormone brush, you will firstly
place the head of the cap shaped almost
like a circle. You will want to create this
circle on the left side of the circle from the
background below the branches. After that you will create a big oval that
stands for his body. So let's firstly create the
head shaping a simple circle. Then holding the pencil down, you will want to press
the edit shape and drag the circle a little to the bottom left
side of the canvas. After this is done, it's time to create the body of the cat shaped as a white oval. So let's imagine the
body of the cat and create a beautiful
oval around it. After this, you will hold
the pencil down until it becomes smooth and uniform. After the oval is created, you can feel the
shape of the head and the body of the cat,
the same white. Let's start making some
adjustments of the shapes. You will start with
the cheek of the cat and make it a bit more parity, not too much, just a little bit. So the oval of the head can
seem a bit more natural. After this, you can
move to the right and adjust a little bit of
the shape of the back, getting rid of that angle from
between the head and body. And after that you can move
to the bottom right side of the oval and make the back of the cat a little
bit more flat. It doesn't seem like it's
floating above the pillow. After this is done,
you will want to pick the middle gray from
below the white, and then you will start to shape the front part of the cat. So starting from the inside
of the chest of the cap, you will add two curves going outside the shape and
coming back to its belly. After that, firm below the head, you will descend with
another curve that closes in the middle
of the other port. And then you can add a
short line for the chest. After that, you can
bake once more the white and fill the
shapes of the pause. What's left from the chest? After this is done, you will want to create
the tail of the cat. So you will firstly pick again the light gray from
the color palette, and then we'll shake the tail as an asset that
closes in its back. So let's make this
beautiful S-shaped. And after that you
can go back to its beginning and double it, making it a bit wider. On the top. After that, you can go to
the color ballot and once more big the white from the corner and fill
the form of the tail. Now that the shape
of the tail is done, you will want to create
the ears of the cat. So let's once more
pick the light gray and get a bit closer to
the top of the head. Let's place the first
one and make it very nice and perky at its top. And now following the
forehead of the cat, you will add the second ear, placing it a little bit
lower than the first. After that, as before, Let's grab the white
and fill the shape of the ears with this
clean, beautiful white. And after this is done, the main shape of
the cat is finished. So let's move on and create
some beautiful details.
9. White Cat Features: This ball step, you will create
the features of the cat. For the beginning,
you'll want to make a selection of the
shape of the cat. And after that, picking up once more the light gray
from the color palette, you will go to the belly
of the cat and continue the contour of it
with this light gray and at the bottom as well. After that, you can create a little shadow on
the back of the cat, just behind the head. Then moving below the head of the cat and increasing
the size of the brush, you will place this delicate
shadow on its chin. Now moving back to the tail, you will add curvy shadow
on the bottom side of it just to accentuate a bit
more the shadow from before, Let's maybe make the line of
the belly a bit more wider. After the contour of
the cat is finished, you can move to the tail and add two beautiful white stripes
across its top side. Let's move to the head. And from between the years
you will descend with two stripes that go towards the bottom
left side of the face. After this, you'll create the
insights of the two years. So you will pick the pink
from the bottom right side, decreasing the
size of the brush, you will draw another triangle
inside the other ear, but a bit more to
the right side, then you can fill
the shape with bink, tracking the pen
to the left until it's restricting
to the triangle. After this is done, let's move to the next
year and place that triangle this time moving
a bit to the left side, following the shape of the head. Let's get a bit closer
and make the bottom of that triangle a bit more
round and beautiful. And now for a final
touch for the years, you will go back to the color palette and
big ones more the white. Now let's add a couple of hairs across the
pink of the year. Two or three for each
side will be enough to make the cat seem a
bit more hairy, fluffy. Now that the ears are done, it's time to play a bit
with the shape of the cat. So let's select the Move tool and selecting the warp tool, you will want to drag the top of the cat a little
bit lower so it can see more cozy and relaxed that's now bring
it back a bit higher, end towards the middle, and bring the tail a
bit higher as well. Look how easy it is to
play with the shapes. Now, the cat looks
so much better by just adjusting the size. After this is done, you will
want to create the mouth, the nose, and the
eyes of the cat. For that, you will pick
from the color palette, the beautiful dark
green from the top, and create a new layer. So you can then play with
the shapes once more. After the layer is created, you will shape the
nose of the CCAP as a heart, small enqueued. Then from below
the little loans, you will go to the right
with the short curve going up and another one on
the left side as well. Now using the move to, you can select the warp tool
and play with the mouth and the nouns until they nicely
fit the shape of the face. So let's drag the
corners of the shape so they can occupy a bit
more of the face. Now it looks much more better. You can play with
the shape until you feel like they
characterize your cat. Now let's unselect
the mouth and moving closer you will shape
the eyes of the cat, starting with the
one from the right, creating a short curvy line
going to the right and another one even shorter on the top left
side of the nose. Now for some final touches, you will pick the light gray from the color palette and add above the eyes a couple of
whiskers going to the top. As you may know, this stands
for the eyebrows of the cat. And at the end, Let's select once more the white and go into
the left cheek. You will create once
more a couple of whiskers going
outside of its cheek. And with that, this step and
the first cat are finished. Let's now create the
next beautiful cat.
10. Orange Cat Main Shape: In this next step, you will create the main
shape of the second cat. For that you don't want
to go to the Layers and create a new one on
top of the last one. Now let's create a
little bit more space. So for the time, Let's hide the layer
of the first cat. After that, you will want to go to the color palette and big, beautiful orange from
the bottom left corner. Let's make sure the
brush is ready. And now you can
create as before, the head of the second
cat as a simple circle. It doesn't need to
be perfectly round. After the circle is done, you will place an oval, this time standing
on the small curve and tilted a little
bit to the right side. Now that you've created the
body of the cat as well, you will place the front leg
of the cat going down with a straight line from
the right extremity of the oval and then climb
back up to the chest. Now let's add one more
tiny leg shaped as a u on the left
side of the first. After the two pores are done, you'll move to the back
of the cat and create its beautiful tail shape as the one from
before, like an S. You will live from the
same height as the line of the neck and then meet
the bottom of the oval. Now getting a bit closer, Let's move to the left side of the line and create another one, continuing the line down. And then as you descend, can make the tail a bit more narrow and close the shape of the tail after the tail of
the cat is done as well. Oh, one to shape the
two years of the cat. So you will begin by shaping
the back of the cat, and then you can continue
up with the back of the ear and then you will
descend back to the head, closing the shape of the ear. Now, living a little space
between the two ears, you will shape the second, maybe a bit smaller and wider. And with that, you have finished creating the drawing of the cat. You can fill this shape
with the same orange, starting with the head
and the main body, and then moving
lower to the paws, you will drag the color and fill their shapes a bit of color
for the two beautiful ears. And now let's color
the neck and the tail. After the shape is filled, make sure its culture, its smooth and uniform. So let's make sure the tip of the tail has a nice
curve on it. Stop. Now filling the two
sides of the neck. And then let's move to the chest and make the
shape of it a bit more straight because you want
this to be nice and fluffy. And with this, the main shape
of the cat is finished. Let's get into the next
step and add the details.
11. Orange Cat Features: Now that the main shape of
the second cat is done, you want to create some details. So you will firstly go
to the color palette. And as for the white cat, you will pick the light gray to create some patches of color. At first, you will want to use the selection tool on
the shape of the cat. And now let's grab the brush. And with the hormone brush, you will want to create, as for the white cat, too beautiful stripes
on the tip of its tail. After you have finished
creating the stripes, you will make the
size of the brush smaller and moving to the ears, you will place two
triangles on the surface of the ears to signal the
inside part of them. Let's move to the ER
from the right and create one more
beautiful triangle, following the shape of the head, makes sure the edges
are nice and smooth. And after that, you can grab once more the orange
from the corner. And as for the white cat, you will create a couple of orange hairs on the surface of the white triangles living from the left corner and the right
corner of the other one. After the ears are done, you can zoom out and grabbing
from the color palette, the light gray, you will
start to create a patch of color for the mouth and
the chest of the cat. So you will create a curve for the notes that go
around the left cheek. And you will mirror the shape
on the right side as well. The sending near the right cheek in the middle of this forum. And you will place the mouth
and the nose of the cat. And on the outside of the forum you will
create the two eyes. After this, let's continue with the patch of color
for its chest. Dispatch will be placed
between the two front legs, just in the middle of them. So you will live from the
middle of the belly with a curve going up near
the edge of the chest. And then you can link the line with the
shape from the top. After this, you will create
the left side of the chest. So you will go up with a
vertical line parallel with the left leg and
then you will close the form with the
line curved inside. And after this, you can
fill the shape with color. Now that you have finished creating the shape
from the chest, you will continue by
coloring with white with the two little front
paws of the cat. So let's zoom in on the two pause and starting
with the one from the left, you will add two lines on each side of the poor
and then create a line curved down on the
top of them and one more curved line for the
power from the right side. And now you can feel
their foreign with white. And now let's create some highlights over
the body of the cat. For that, you will want
to decrease the flow of the brush and
increase the size. Now let's place a
beautiful highlight on the back of the cat. And now let's move to
the bottom of the tail. And as for the bad, he will go up with a beautiful highlight till
you made the top of it. Then you will add one more thin highlight on the
left side of the left leg. And then you will
move to the top of the head and decreasing
the size of the brush, you can place a thinner light on the left side of the
head till the amine, the top of the left
ear and one more little light on the left
side of the right ear. And now that all the
highlights are placed, you can create the
nose and the mouth of the care for that you will
grab from the color palette, the beautiful dark green, decreasing the size and
increasing the flow to maximum, you will shape the nose has a tiny, beautiful heart shape. And then from the
bottom of the heart, you'll continue to
the left side with a sharp curve and another
shorter one to the right. Now let's move closer
to the eye and create a beautiful
line curved upside, starting with a little flake, N1, smaller line for the
right side of the cheek. Now that the features are done, you will create some
little whiskers pour this beautiful cat. So you will go to the color palette and
grabbing the light gray, you will create a
couple of whiskers on the left cheek
and a couple more, little bit shorter
on the right side. Now you can add some small
hairs on the top of the eyes, on the inside part of them. Now grabbing the gray, you'll add some little hair logs on the right side of the chest. So it seems like it's
much more fluffy. And for a last touch, let's move to the tail and
had a couple of short lines across the orange part of the tail emerging
from the white parts. And with that, the orange
cat is finished as well. Let's move to the next step.
12. Placing the Cats: In this next step, you want to place
the two cats on the pillow and make them
fit nicely together. So you will firstly
want to unselect the orange cat and then
going to the layers, you will reveal the
layer of the Wildcat. After this, you will grab
the layer of the orange yet and drag it below
the one of the wildcat. Now selecting the layer
with the white kid, you will want to
use the Move tool and selecting the uniform to, you want to make the
cat a bit smaller. Now moving to the layer
of the orange cat, you will once more
use the move tool to drag the cat to
the right side and a little bit more to
the top so it can be more visible in the
back of the Wildcat. Look at how nice
they look together sitting on that
fluffy cozy pillow. Let's play some more with the
position of the White kept. So let's once more go to
the layer of the white cat. Use the move tool to
bring it a bit lower. And then using the warp tool, you will push inside the
bottom left side of it, bringing it a little
more insight. After this, you will want
to make the cattle look a little bit more
colored for that, you'll go to adjustments and then on hue saturation
and brightness, you will go to the
brightness and decrease its amount to about 45 percent. That will be enough to make those beautiful cultures
be a little more visible. Now let's unselect the cat. And then you will want to
give the beautiful white cap a colorful accessory
so it can match. It's orange friend. For that, you will want to
go to the color palette and grab the beautiful burgundy
color from the middle. And with the OEM brush
decreasing the size of it, you will create a
beautiful color across the neck of the Wildcat. Very simple to do. Look at how much prettier
the cat looks now, then you will want
to add to the color a tiny little bell
heard that you'll go to the color valid and pick the beautiful orange from
the bottom left corner. Let's place a tiny little circle on the bottom middle
of the color. Then using the selection tool, you'll select orange circle, and then you will grab from the color palette
that darker orange. Now you will place a beautiful
and simple shadow on the bottom right side of the orange circle,
using circular motions. For the last touch, you will grab the
dark green from the top of the color
palette and place a beautiful thin line across the bow with two little
dots on each end. And with that, the
beautiful color is finished and the cat's
looks so happy together. Now let's move to
the last step and create the last adjustments.
13. Pillow and Roses Adjustments. Thank You!: For this last step, you will want to make some adjustments over the shape of the pillow
and the color of the roses. So for that, you
will firstly go to the layers and select
the layer of the pillow. After that, you will select
the move to settle down warp and you will want to drag a little more
to the middle, the right side of
the pillow so it can sit better below the cats. Now you will drag
the bottom left side of the pillow a little
more to the middle. So you can accentuate
that perspective. Let's move the right corner
a bit higher and bring the middle lower so the
pillow can see more round. It's much more better Now. The pillow seems much
more uniform and firm. Now for the roses, you will want to give them
some beautiful light accents. For that, you will move to
the layer of the Roses. And then using the
selection tool, you'll want to get closer to the roses and select only
the drawing of them. So let's select the drawing from the first bundle of roses. Then you can move higher on the branch and select
the next rows. But now let's grab the
next baby grows and the one from the end of the
branch after the selection. Instead, you can go
to the color palette and grab the beautiful
bright white. And with the KV brush, you will want to
increase the flow of the brush and decrease the size. Then starting with the
roses from the left, you will create some
very delicate highlights on the top of the roses. As you can see, this helps
the roses stand out a little bit more on the
delicate bash background. You will continue this
step until each of the contours of the Roses gets
a little bit more lighted. And with this, the beautiful
illustration is finished. Thank you so much for
taking the course. If you enjoyed creating
