1. Introduction: Hi, and welcome
back to my studio. Today we're going to paint these nice, beautiful
Christmas bubbles. And this is very easy, but it creates the wow effect. And that could be a beautiful gift idea for
you and your friends, or just for decorating your Christmas tree in
very, very special way. So let's start.
2. Materials: For painting bottles,
you will need, of course, acrylic colors. I will recommend you to have at least one white
collar to Tanya wide, just the basic and all the
rest you could choose. Whatever you, whatever you like. I prefer to use just a piece
of paper as a palette. So I squeeze acrylic color on the palette and
I grab the color, I load my brush from
these paper Paulette, and then after I'm done, I just throw this away. I use rather fixed
synthetic brush. It's number eight. If one brush is enough
for all the painting, but of course you could try
out different sizes for you. You will also need a
paper towel or wet wipe to fix mistakes to clean
your brush here and there. Of course, you will need
any loss bow balls.
3. Floral ornament: First thing we need to do
is to put something soft, soft fabric on our table. I use kids towel. And let's start. First of all, we need to remove
these Henning thing. So just very carefully, you take it out
and put it aside. And now like this, it would be very easy to roll
and move the bubble around. Next thing I prepared
is acrylic color. I will use white color
as the main one. And it's important that we mostly would not
use water for it. So just squeeze nice amount from a two to a piece of paper. For acrylic, I prefer to use some piece of paper as a palette because it's difficult
to clean out. Let's start. I grab some acrylic on
the tip of the brush. I probably could see, hello, hello, my face. And I start with the
middle of the rows. I'm going to paint
roses on this one. And I paint with small strokes. When I feel that it's not
enough color on my brush, I just grab a little
bit right from, from my paper palette. And I write a range
c strokes around. I try to overlap them
and add some direction. I would like that my roles will face a little bit took
towards that oiled. So the petals will be smaller. And these front petals there
will be a little bit bigger. In principle, all the
petals I'm painting, It's just brush strokes. And as the acrylic has this thick texture and it's
not diluted with water. We could really create
a nice, nice texture. Petals around. To make your painting
interesting. Keep in mind that dynamic and thickness of different petals. The far you go towards
that direction, the smaller the petals. And the more you
are to the front, the thicker they are getting. And that's our first trolls. We will later on are
decorated, add some greenery. My try it right now. Let's turn the bubble to their opposite side and
paint the second rolls. I am I am, I like to paint things slightly
different in each side. So I arrange my roles facing
to the left, right now. And I try to paint it in
a slightly different way. Just because for the variety. But I use the same principle. I paint just to brush strokes. And e.g. if you made some mistake,
suddenly something happens. No problem. If you're
right at the moment, you grab a piece of paper
towel at some water on it, it would be very easy to delete everything you painted
form just like this. Carefully remove via while
the acrylic is still wet. So you have few
minutes for that. You could remove
everything like this, e.g. and start from scratch. It's not watercolor. It's, it has its flexibility. And especially when the
paint on glossy surfaces, it's very easy to remove, no stress about that. So we proceed to
create the flower. Bigger brush strokes
on the front.
4. Greenery Ornament: Now let's paint a bubble
with some greenery or late, I remove them. Metallic candle. I start to paint with
brushstrokes, small brush strokes. I've arrived a little bit to
the pressure on my brush. And breathing. All these brush strokes
to an imaginary prime. I want to make a
seamless ornament. So I map out my next branch and
create another, another one row when like this. And then it will be, I would actually would like
to go to that direction. I think. Brene. Nice, interesting variety. I like with painting
on ornaments, is that they all unique. It's almost impossible to
paint identical ornaments. And that's the beauty
of the equation. Now we have a small branch and is where painting mistletoe, of course, we need
to add berries. It's very simple. Just with the tip of
the brush, you paint, you add in-between some
rounded brush strokes. Remember that berries usually
grows in some clusters. So either put 1223
berries in one group, then make some more space. Step aside, and paint
another cluster. Try to avoid being too
symmetrical with this. Better. If you create something
maybe not naturally looking, maybe it's a bit weird for
Barry, grows like this. But for our decorative purposes, for their artistic
purpose, it's really nice. It brings move to our warm, to our creation,
to oil painting. So what you need to do is
just to catch the idea. Let's paint one more stroke. You see e.g. I. Touch the bubble here. I do not go in to remove this. I will just decorate this
place with some strokes. And right now I move
from bottom to top. And that creates slightly
different shape of the leaves. Try out different directions. And my advice for you, buy a nice bag of marbles. I usually buy 66 pack, six pack of bubbles, so I could try out
different techniques. And B, not sad if e.g. Barlow, two bubbles
are not perfect. Let's add some berries. Find nice sports for berries. That could be a nice cluster. Try not to paint too much
berries on one place. Rather, add a leaf. Let's have a look or
do we have carefully? I think this is, this looks a bit empty. So we need to add one more branch right
here to this direction. Try not to overthink. What are you painting? And just paint with
sharp brush strokes. They are painted in
one goal than nice. The texture is, I
would like to show you this hand painted
soft texture. Acrylic. It's, it's
really, really, really, really
nice, very special. And as we all different, our brushstrokes
also very different. It's similar to when writing. It's very, it's,
everything is very unique. So just try out what's, how your hand goals and
try different directions. Your brushstrokes will
vary depending on whether you go from
bottom to top, from top to bottom. Add some berries, some
green, green leaves. And we are done. Here. Look how nice, Nice
our bubble looks like.
5. Additional Colour: If you want to add some color
variety to your painting, you could use the second column, the third color, e.g. I. Would like to add some green. I take a bit of green color on the tip of
the brush, on my brush. And I go there, already
painted leaves. I, my bubble has dark
color. That's fine. It's nicely first to go with white background and then go with some colored
colors on it. If you paint e.g. in Southern white, light green, light pink, it might
be not necessary. You could go, you could
build your own amid. On the opposite way from
more dark acrylic, e.g. from green and then put
something white on the top. And it will imitate
snowy texture, which is also great. I will show you how
it will look if I paint directly with green. Kind of nice, but to
a little bit dark, I would say that's a
little bit too dark. So I rather prefer to
start with whites. Let's paint something with pink. You see, I'm not
washing my brush. Because in the opposite
to watercolor. Here, when they do
not wash our brush, it creates really nice
mixes of textures. So you could create really, really, really unique things. One important moment,
I have to stress out that you should not
use too much colors. Stick with something free, let's say white-collar
and plus two more colors. Like in my case, it's pink and green. And then it will
be really enough to know to get these
variety of elements. It's a very fun and it's almost endless
variations to use. So just enjoy file
different things. Do not afraid to make
mistakes there we'll fix. Everything is easy
to fix and have fun.
6. Fixing Mistakes: How to fix mistakes, e.g. here, I touch the
brunch and I got these clearly unnecessary
things to remove, but that's not the end
of the ball at all. You could take either a
paper towel or wet wipe. If you have a paper towel, water you a little bit. So it's a little
bit wet and fully remove either warm part
or the whole leaf. As we're painting on a
very glossy texture. And acrylic needs a bit
of a time to dry out. It's really very easy to
fix all these mistakes. Without any, any traces. You just go with something, done, something not where
it should be, moderate, moderately down, and just remove everything but you do not like you have about 5 min. So you could fix all the mistakes and then the surface usually
almost immediately dry. So you could proceed
with the painting.
