1. Introduction: Hello and welcome to ECE drawing cartoony super heroes and villains. My name is Christa. And in this course, I will go step-by-step and show you how to create fun and cool comic book characters. If you want to go from this to this, we have come to the right place. We will start with basic shapes and sizes. Use ISTE guidelines to go step-by-step to finish drawing. You will draw different versions of classic superheroes. And imagine done in varied forms. We go through simpler proportions in some tricks. And then finally, unleash an array of super classic guys in all sorts of one. And remember, the journey of cartoon drawing is as important as the end result. So pick up your pencil, yet your imagination run wild and embark on a delightful artistic adventure. 2. Your First Superhero: I thought we should start with the classical super hero superman. Let's do a rectangle to start with quite long run, something like this. Then we will have up here. We can put the waist somewhere around here, midsection. And, um, he will have legs, dome here. And then of course add the pair of feet. Very simple. Start, simple form. Now we've allowed the guidelines in the middle to help you place the different details. Another guideline here. We will add pair of ears like this. Then of course the nose. Place the top of the nose. Hello In the guideline. Something like this. Set up. I can use quite big. Enron was giving that cartoonish look. Of course. Pupils. He should be smiling. He's a super hero and he's a good guy so he can be smiley. The mobile ad, a little bit of sidebars on the side here and then some hair using the top of the rectangle to be the start of the hairline. And they can have a little bit of a wild hairdo. He's been out flying around in the phi speeds, so his hair is a little bit messy. Not too much though. And then of course we should add that classic twirl here. I think this design as being normal, almost all super metal. That little look. Let's go ahead and define the eyes a little bit better. I think Superman was swallowed. The first superheroes. His creation was in the 1930s, and I think the first time he was in the publication was in 1938. This is quite long time ago. Let's do some eyebrows for him to find out. A little bit better. Remember, this is just a sketch. You don't need to be super precise. The worry if the lines are little bit wobbly in the beginning, it's only natural. Let's start on this costume. I think this is a good start. And of course he should have a cape and it should start somewhere around here. You'll see this kind of shape symbolizing the tape being stuck into his Leah Tod's. We should probably make him stand and up to classical Superman posts with his hands on his hips. Yes, something like that. Can show a little bit of the little small finger there on the side. I don't know if you know why the superheroes usually have this kind of look with the delete you, Todd. But it comes from fairgrounds and circuses back in there. Let's say the '30s and '20s, when strong man and wrestlers were dressed like this, almost like had underwear on top of your talks. Might look a bit silly. In modern times, my back in the days, they thought it looked really cool. That's why a lot of superheroes have this kind of look since they are. The origin is from that time. Of course he should have boots on. So I'm just going to draw the feet like this sometime we can do a little bit of a UPS and go like this, showing that. Yes, it's red and shiny boots on. Let's go ahead and make sure that the Harris same strength as the rest of the body. So I know where to go and later when I'm going to define it with a black pencil, of course you should have is k balls and we can just do a little bit of a wavy line like this. They belong like that. We can do a whole thing on the other side also. Just a little, bit. Little bit of wave. Yes. That looks good. We can of course, use throw a little bit of shade on the cape that is in the background. Doesn't have to be super stroke. So I saved his symbol for lost. The Superman symbol is like a diamond. Looking like this. Noisy when you have a guideline here, it's easier to place this little logo. But I'm not going to draw the S in this one because I want you to add something here. It could be the initial of your name or maybe some other symbol that you'd like to add there. It's a little bit on assignments. Because I can just show you roughly just outside here, how the Superman logo looks like. Let's come up. Very gentle lies inside here. Of course it's sum S of consulting like this. Still touching the outer edges just a little bit. Then it goes down here. Little leaves just a little bit of room up there. So maybe you can draw your initial here. Instead of this S. Or if you want to, you can of course draw the original symbol. It looks something like that. Can yell style. They'll still a little bit of shade to hear a little bit. So let's go ahead and use a black pencil. Start the finding, the drawing. Let me start with it. Nose, the eyes. And of course, when it comes to superheroes. The definition is that super is that you have extraordinary powers that is far beyond what the ordinary human as hero is to use the power for good. That you are protecting people and fighting crime. And this is something that we will go through, through in this course that we will draw both superheroes, super villains and shoulder difference between them. But right now we are starting with the superheroes. Of course, Superman is like a big item and it comes to fighting crime and evolve and helping people. He's like a souped up. Firefighters, policemen, all involved. I'm just going to add just a little bit of strength and an eastern those two here. And that will help than those pumping out a little bit from the drawing. Don't worry if your lines are baldly or anything like that. This is just to try it around. It's good that you're experimenting because that's the best way to learn. To relax and have fun. Well, that was a little kid. My favorite superhero was Spiderman. Loved to draw Spider-Man cartoons full of old drawings back home. If my father has saved them, I hope you did. Which superhero is your favorite? But hopefully we will come to your favorite warm and we can draw them together. Let's go ahead and fill in the legs and feet. And as you'll see, I'm not drawing out a lot of muscles or anything like that, but I mean, it's a cartoon, so it doesn't have to be anatomically correct or anything. Everybody knows that Superman is strong. You don't have to show his muscle because of that. I'm adding strong lines underneath his feet. This is connecting to the ground. Is this a good way to show that he's heavy, that he is standing on something. Then we're gonna do a little bit stronger of a shadow. As I usually do my little wobbly lines there. Something like this doesn't have to be a very, very strong shadow. But we'll do the cape. Since Superman has quite dark hair. Since it has quite dark hair, we should make sure it's a little bit dark. Black. Don't worry about staying inside the lines. This is just practice and the bunch surely you will be so good at drawing that all the lines will be going in the direction that you want. I want them to go a little bit more of a dark tone toys like that. Make sure that the higher is not too dark because you want the focus to go to his face. So the biggest contrast should be somewhere around here. And let's go ahead and make sure that this symbol is also defined. Superman logo. There you go. Your first superhero, Superman. Good work and see you in the next lesson. 3. Toddler Superman: So next, we will do a baby version of Superman. And we will start by drawing an oval shape, something like this. Then we will have guideline, the middle of the character and also another guideline for the middle of the hand like this. And then of course the baby will be quite fat, stocky. But let's draw a sort of a square there. Then we will have two small legs, some small feet like this. That's a good start. Then we can draw a little nose like this. With the help of the guidelines we can add. Here's, Let's go ahead and define the shape of the head a little bit better. Feel free to draw as many lines as you want until you find the form sold about exercise and helping training your eye, hand coordination. And since it's a baby should have for quite big eyes, like there's two big circles. They are received with the guideline is quite easy to draw them symmetrical. Well, of course, should have big pupils. Then leaves just a little bit. And we'll leave a little bit of light. Coordinate error. This is to help giving more life to the character. Especially since it's the baby should have big bright ice. Has with other Superman here. We should use this little shape here, but we can add it just on top. Like this. Just a little curl. The baby can of course have a pacifier. Throw an oval shape. That little ring, something like that. And of course the baby should have the same kind of outfit us. The girl looks super mal. So let's add those little trousers and the belts. Like this. Little legs. Now that little shape for the boots too. Let's go ahead and do that. Classical super man symbol here. I will do the same as we did last. One that I will not make the S-shape here. So feel free to add something. It's quite small this drawing, so you can just leave it off, but also because people will automatically see what icon is. I will, since it's a little toddler. We can go ahead and draw a hand holding a sort of a rattler. I think it's called in English like this. Then in the other hand, let's go ahead and add that he's holding a teddy bear. As you see when I draw hands, I see I'll start with a circle, very simple shape. And from that I can always go ahead and define the heart a little bit better and adding fingers. So he's holding the teddy bear by wildlife arm. The head of the berries here. We can also draw some guidelines for the face so the bear adding the ice. Nobody else make the bear quite symmetrical. The other arm here, it's lying on the ground. If your favorite toy or some other random, we'll feel free to draw that instead. Maybe you'd like it to be a bunny or something. Else. Go down to the else too little bit of shade here. Then of course it should have the baby should have the mantle or the CAPM. Let's go ahead and draw us a little bit of a shape there and coffee, of course, you can draw the Cape to be quite big or it can be quite short. So I think I will draw it a little bit longer than this one. Here. You can shade it to. Yes, it looks good. That's a good start. Let's go ahead and use the black pencil to the Finder lines. And I will start with the ice. You see I leave quite a big sparkle and die. There is a good way to define a toddler. They usually have quite a big sparkle, sparkle in their eye. As you see if I make a little bit of other shape up here that is more flat, it looks, it looks a little bit more worried. I'm not going to draw, I browse luck with this one. So if you don't draw eyebrows, you can always use the shape of the eye instead to change the feeling of the character. The emotion. Well, of course, the little trademark there and with the hair shade a little bit too strong, strong and under dice. And the pacifier. And of course, when you draw this character, it can of course, have the Superman soundtrack in the background. It could help you get into the mood. And I always encourage people when they draw that have some kind of music in the background. It will affect your drawing and help you getting to that flow. That is so nice to be in when you're drawing the creative bubble. Can you think of a name of what kind of birth name for a super hero toddler is Superman as a baby. Just try to imagine that. With other drawing. Draw a little bit of strength on the knees, the feet to connect it to the ground. Shade. Just a little bit. It's time to give a bit more of a clarity because when you draw something that is quite small and there's a lot of details. It can be quite cluttered and sometimes it helps to just add a little bit of shade to something. And then I see that the bodies popping up, the symbol, the little bit of shade on the ground. I'm just going to add some strings to hear. A little bit stronger value and you see that immediate or the head is popping out a little bit. Because it's good that you're, you're drawing has a focus that is going towards the face of a character. A little bit more strength to the eyes too. There we go. Superman, as a little toddler, is quite cute. Good work, and see you in the next lesson. 4. Grandpa Superman: Let's draw another version of Superman. This time we can make him a little bit older. I think. I'll do a round shape first. Almost like a circle a little bit. We can draw a guideline, middle of the body, and then we can draw another guideline for the head. This body is going to be shaped like this. Like a half circle on this side. Circle on this side. Try to use the guideline to get them quite similar. They'll, of course there will be some feet down here Like that. Control this Elsa little bit stronger. Will be soft shape like this. There you have the legs. Then we can draw a waste for him. Have the belt, my sort of trousers, boots at the same time. Mills going to draw that. He's telling us a little bit in front of the baby. Just a little bit. Use this guideline to draw airs. Control them all and most. Circular. Just a little bit of a wobble up top pair. The inner ear shape. Like this. Of course, since this is an old guy, then those should be quite big. And we can draw the top of the loss that the middleware, big nose like that was like a novel. Of course, he could have some facial hair. We can draw a moustache, little bit droopy like this. And then they can have like squinting eyes. Imagine that you have the top of a circle like this. And then of course, big bushy eyebrows that some men get when they are older. Like that. He should have some here and there but not too much. So let's go ahead and just add a little bit higher to the side. A little bit higher in front of the ear. Slide select that. Control that a little bit bigger, so it doesn't collide with the browse them. Of course, there should be something similar to this, but we can draw it a little bit of error still only said but not too much. So white hair up top, hold up. The look. Of course he should have maybe a little bit of a game. Let's go ahead and draw a cane here. Like this. Let me come home. His almost like leaning on the chain. Hello. We'll draw the rest of the kings so we can see another old men tend to do. We can draw the other hand that is holding the back of his on his back. Other arm like this. It looks good. Then of course, his symbol. Do the same here. I will just leave this space open for you to imagine something, but you can put there. Then we need some space for the Cape to don't be shy to use the eraser. Razor is your friends. You can always go back and forth and shame, shame, shame. If there's something you don't like. Let's start to keep up their shape. They can give us a little bit. Yes, that's a good start. Let's go ahead and define the lines with a black belt. So let's start with the most is time. Yes. Feel free to let your hand guide you and if there's something that you feel should be bigger or smaller, your drawing. Let's go ahead and do it as follow your instinct. While you're doing these practices. You will start to get the intuition. Well, have your style is going to be what is the best for your, your drawing. This would come natural. Squinting eyes. Go ahead and do. 5. Simple Proportions: I thought we will talk a little bit about proportions. And in a very simplified way, I made this diagram. And a human adult person, that is one eighth or the body length. That's why I've used this links to divide it up into eight parts. The legs is about half for the body. And when it comes to the legs, the upper half and lower half plus the foot has the same length. And when it comes to the arms, the lower arm and upper arm are about the same length. Now when we go to baby, the baby's head is about a quarter of its length. And this is quite important to know, is that why we draw cartoony things is because the closer we go to a baby or even further that may be the third of the body is that we're programmed to see a baby as cute. And this has a lot to do with the size of the head. So when we draw, like you did earlier with Superman, I have a baby shaped like this. The big size of the head and also the size of the eyes, the roundness, the jumpiness of the short legs and arms. We see this as very, very cute. So it's quite good to know that how much usage should exaggerate certain body parts. If you've all something to look more cartoony and look more cute. When it comes to arms and legs are just thoughts to do as the simple explanation is that imagine that when you have an arm and it's a bit like a pipe, almost like a pencil. You can see maybe the joints that are inside of it. There we go again with the upper arm. The lower arm has the same length. Then you just add that the hand. Of course, when it bends It's still have the same length inside here. But what we can do when we do cartoony things, usually we have almost like, you can call this like a sausage. Inside. You have still the same proportions that the upper arm and the lower arm has the same length. And the osteon Belgian that you're bending a sausage, something like that. Can you just show one example of a character we will draw. Later on. We will draw back Mel. And here we have this bent arms. Just imagine that there are a bit like sausages. Of course the same with a lake. The upper part and the lower part plus the foot has the same length. And of course, when you've done them, it will be the same length here. If you use this very simplified sausage shape, will work the same way as, as with the arm. This is a simple way to describe proportions. And it's a very simple way to understand why we see things as cute or not. So let's go ahead and draw wonderful mem. 6. Wonder Woman: So next superhero is a Wonder Woman. And I think we will do the same kind of basic shape that we did with the first Superman. So we're going to draw a rectangular shape like this. Just a very simple shape, but a rough one. And then we're going to define where the head is. Who'd be somewhere over here. Now we will have the waist done, the legs will go out somewhere around here. But with Wonder Woman, there's a lot of different designs. So I will use the one that is sort of from the beginning, I think Wonder Woman was published the first time around 1941 ish. So what we'll do is we'll have a little belt on her and add a little bit of a dress, a little skirt like this. Then we will have her legs coming down like that. And then on top of that, in the bottom of course, you will have her shoes. And quite often she has high heels. So we will have a high yields. For this version of Wonder Woman. Denote one that is, when we fit this angled more flat like that and then 11 is more towards you. Then of course she has similar boots, boot lines like Superman was quite common back then. And I think it's a little bit from the heroes of Greek mythology. And when it comes to Wonder Woman, quite a lot of things are sort of based around Greek, ancient Greek mythology. Skirt, waist. Of course, we should have a guideline. The guideline for her face. Like this. When it comes to our superpowers, she's quite different than compared to Superman. Superman, how these powers Soto built-in bucks. Wonder Woman has a lot of different gadgets. We will add just a few of them here, because they are quite different depending on which version. You're going to draw. This one she has TRO that you can use as a boomerang star on it. There's quite a lot of stars when it comes to Wonder Woman. Of course she will have big eyes. This case. I will not do like with super man that she has white Tuples. These slides we build else can make them with this kind of design is to mix things up. And also, I will not draw any nulls for her mouth. And of course he's having a bit of a crooked smile there. And then we will draw ears using the guidelines. Pair of ears there. Quite often she has earrings. With these, she was communicating with her queen back into her whole world. So that's a good start for the face. Then we will do. This kind of design. Is quite often that she has. This sort of either there's a W or there are some m. This kid is, because it looks more like an M. Chelsea's kinda pattern. And it will symbolize her her bra actually. As we'd Superman, we will have her hands on her hips. This is quite a classic superhero pose. Then we will store her arms going like this. I don't know her arms. She has bracelets. What I remembered ever made by Susan. She had some superpowers that she could block shots with it and I think she also can send out lightning. Yes. Like that. Let me come. You'll have a hint of the pinky or the little finger. Let's go define the skirt. Other waste a little bit better. And also the legs and her boots. They're also reversals when it comes to her boots. We will draw another version later on them that gives us the power to fly these Oreos to her everyday boots. And of course you should have some flowing hair. So let's go ahead and do two half circles. Then we will do a wavy line like this. With a car like indent. Of course, yes. Lovely. Black hair, a little sad, the air in their ear lines too. So there you have it, the basis of the Wonder Woman. And I think actually bill adds her loss Sawyer, that she's holding. It's called the loss of truth. That she can untangle people. They are entangled. They can only speak the truth. And then we should have some pattern here on her skirt. What we can do is a nice way to do a pattern is that you start with the middle line. Then you take one part and divide it up to two parts. Then you do another half of a half. Like this. You can draw a middle line. There will be also a little bit on the lawyer, should have sort of squares and mean those you can draw stars. It was stopped. Drawing a simple stores playing like that. Don't worry, they don't need to be on the bursa. Similar. This is still, still little sketch. Nice way to have a pattern for your superhero. You can of course, draw even smaller stores or even bigger if you want to. Instead of us drawing them on top of each other, we can sort of twitched pattern a little bit, and this will be the middle line of the next door line. I will draw this stores coming from the center. What up, understood this when she was created. She also superhero was, that was going to fight x is forces during World War One, World War Two. Of course, he was fighting other kinds of super villains also. But that's why she has a lot of stars that are symbolizing the stars on the army. And we can also be lost shader here a little bit. I'll also have a little bit of a shade for her. Underneath or on the ground? Yes. That looks good. Let's go ahead and define our with the black pencil. Start with eyes. Make sure that you leave this little glimmer, the white spot in the right to give her more life. You can, of course, try to draw her with completely the black guys and see the difference. Will give her a little bit of different appearance. There's no right or wrong when it comes to how you're drawing the eyes, it's very much up to you, the design choice. You make. The mouth. She got to be quite stocky. This version of Wonder Woman. Quite often she's portrayed with a lot of curves, but this one, she is very robust and not seem so much overheard TV show. The early ones, I don't know what kind of themes. So there is two Wonder Woman. But if you have the possibility to find the theme song, please play it when you are drawing this character. Let's see what happens. I'm sure it will motivate your drawing. Maybe you will find something more interesting angle. With that kind of music. You hear somebody that is rattling and background is that I have a little bit too many pencils on the table. I hope it's not too distracting. Because the way I draw y, draw quiet with a very strong force and I sometimes break the pencil, so I need a lot of backups. Go ahead and draw the skirt with all those little stars. Really make the millstone little bit, little bit crooked. So don't worry about having them. Perfect. I'm looking exactly the same. Still. It's about giving more interesting details to this area. The skirt. Later on we will draw her with another kind of design for our Baldi on their armor. Then you can pick and choose whichever you prefer. Then you make the practices. Because it's good to make. Variations of everything. Shouldn't forget the lasso of truth. I'm not 100% sure if this was one of the first wells, but like with supermodel, everything was built in. But with wonderful woman, she got a lot of gadgets and that inspired, of course, other superheroes, especially like Batman, doesn't really have sort of a superpower that is unnatural, but it's more about the gadgets. Let's go ahead and do the shade underneath or a law for course, collector to the ground with dark lines that we should make her her quite dark. The worry about keeping your lines on the bristles within the boundaries. This is just about practicing and having fun when your pencil hello, of course. Training your handled the eye coordination. Maybe a little bit darker, but not too dark. They shouldn't be darker than the eyes. Because the eyes are the most important part of this character under that's where you should look. To start with an S. You see, I'm doing the shades in this direction with a supermodel earlier I did it this way. So there's a lot of different ways you can shade your character. Because now I get a little bit of a vertical line. Sara had more strength to the head, to her tiara. So it pops out a little bit. We can of course, go shade her skirt just a little bit, but I will do it with the blue pencil instead. Because otherwise it's too much of too much black on this sketch. We're roughly like that. Yes, it looks very good. What we can do also is to shave her legs just a little bit like this. What happens when you do that is that her legs comes it goes underneath her skirt. You get a little bit of depth and volume. There. There you go. Wonder Woman, also called Princess Diana. Good work and see you in the next lesson. 7. Wonder Toddler: So next we will do a little younger version of Wonder Woman. And we will start by doing an oval shape for the head, something like that. And then we can add some guidelines. So far we have drawn everything from front view and now we will turn the character little bit to the side and they asked a little bit up, not as good dad guidelines. So it's easier to draw the character, especially when it comes to perspective. Now, the ears, the side, and the little nose. Like that. We can draw a little bit different version of the tiara. This I'm going to load in some versions. Let's do a little guideline here at Utah Yara looks like this. So it has two points sticking out like that. Define the rest of just a little bit better. The basis of them, of course, there should be some big eyes unless with the toddler for a super. Now. Of course, this character also should have big pupils. And leave some light there to the corner. I think we should have a quite happy little baby here. So let's draw smiling mouth, even showing some teeth like this. And then of course we should have a body quite stuck you all. Instead of just having the lasso, etc, we will do two onto wet those for this character that Wonder Woman's has sometimes. The first one is the shield. So you can imagine that the arm is here and she's holding up the shield. And other armies stretch out like dance with. You. Still have the braces on her little hand. In this one we will add a little sort little salt like that. Disorder has quite a lot of different designs depending on which comic or which movie it's in. But it's like making very basic salt form this time. Then of course draw the heel like this. We can go ahead and erase the lines for the head and the body. Then we can do guidelines for the shield as well. I will draw almost like an x here. It's like the shield is tilted in this direction. We will make another circle where an older shield we will draw the Symbol for Wonder Woman. So we can use these guidelines to make that symbol. So it will be w, of course. With this one, it will be doubled pattern like this. Her sign. We'll do hinder circle and outer circle of a shield. Like things. Some version of the shields, there are stars along the edge here, but I will skip it this time because it's getting too much details, some too messy. Of course, there will be a star on this one to use this guideline to place the star. And that she should have some hair can come out from underneath this point. Flowing hair. Unless you see looking for an interesting shape. And I'm not trying to do these two lines too similar. So one is a little bit more down here along this more angled up here, it gives more, more interesting shape but more life to your drawing. Because if you make things too similar, the drawing gets quite quickly, very static. But can be a bit dull, interesting to look at. Do the same sort of lines here too. It looks good. Let's go ahead and find the ice better. We can make them a little bit bigger. When it comes to her body. We will not true or draw the skirt this time. So she will have more like Superman, this kind of underwear. First we will have our little belt no, to do it. A little bit of guideline here. So we see the BOD is coming around here. We will have one leg coming up here. Like she's raising it a little bit. We will have one leg here. Yes. We will not have the same kind of boots. So what we will do is that we will draw her sandals. That she sometimes has. Those sandals make small steps there. Sando had sandals, have wings on the side. And since she is based quite a lot from Greek mythology of the sandals or from hermits. So it was good to have help from Greek gods when you're out fighting evil and protecting people. We can also, instead of having stores, we can just make little round shapes like this. That is sort of symbolizing the stars. Because if you draw on other stores, so they are very, very small, it gets very quickly cause clutter dealt. Sometimes it's just easier to do a very simplified version of what you want to be there. Because the brain we'll, we'll fill in what you're after. Especially since there's a cartoon and it doesn't have to be super realistic. Know, a little bit of shade to the hair. Of course, she will also have the same symbol here on her. Just so I can use this guideline to place it. Little w. Yes, that's a good start. Let's go ahead and define the lines with a black belt. So starting with the eyes, you can maybe start to imagine what she's actually doing at the moment. Which is looking at since you look so happy, maybe she just had a very good day. Maybe she's just happy that she can be out. Flying with her shoes. I think they skip the sandals in some of the movies. And then she's using the Lasso instead of to be able to fly. So as you see, there's a lot of changes when it comes to superheroes. Every creator has his or her own vision of what's working for the character. It's the same with the star. Originally Star was red. But later on, the store is more like a pattern that is incorporated into the metal of the tiara. Wonder woman also has a plane, but that plane is invisible. So no, I don't think there's not so much point of us pretending to draw it. Can you just imagine that it is somewhere around here? Maybe she's actually playing fetch with airplane. See you is going faster. Got a little bit carried away there. And as you'll see, don't worry about if something is a little bit too wobbly or not going in the right direction you want to. You can always redraw it. When it comes to these exercises, don't try to make sort of a perfect drawing. It's about practicing and having fun making some sort of exhibition art. Because the way I see it's the best way of learning is just to play around with and having fun. Taking things too serious. Little sword. Their legs. Maybe another little few more lines, Sarah. Little tiny wings. The straps on her feet to make the line for the shield little bit stronger. So we see that it's popping out a little bit from the body. And the same is also to draw this line a little bit stronger. That means the heart is also popping out a little bit. But don't put the lines too close to each other with the same value because it means that they are actually close together. So when you have a strong line like this, Let's draw a line like this. Don't let the strong part goal touch each other. Because that means that this just glued together. Now you see that the shield is coming up a little bit in front of the head, just a little bit in front of the body. To some shading here. Scholar that proposal slow aware of too worried about staying inside the lightness to see if its purpose. Anyway. Maybe just a little bit more dark. But we're just a little bit more strength to. The outlines. Show the TRR. Show the hand. Of course, more contrast to the eyes, so they are not appearing. Below. We'll do the pretend stars. Just little balls like that, as we described earlier, we can feel real. Our little trousers. That looks good. Since she's flying. Let's go ahead and draw some clouds. Clouds can be behind her. Just a few of them. Maybe she's flying over a city. So let's go ahead and do a silhouette of a acidity. Just imagine that there are subtle skyscrapers. I'm just doing my rough like this. When we can, we'll show you roughly to me even making maybe like small until muscle some of the buildings. But we can do. Whereas soft black lines through the clouds. Since they are in the background, they don't have to put so much pressure to them. And we can do the same with the buildings here. We can even maybe make the buildings much, much taller. Something like that. Just play around and let the pencil guide you. Then of course, too. Soft shading. No sudden you have a flying, wonderful or a toddler wonder. Maybe it's more precise. So there we have a different version from the last one with a different kind of setup when it comes to gadgets and weapons. Good work, and see you in the next lesson. 8. Almost Gadot: So let's go ahead and do a little bit more curvy version of Wonder Woman. We will start by doing a shape for the head. Like that. Yes. We'll do some guidelines. Will be a little bit tilted, can actually tilt the head even more. And oval shape. For women to go online, I thought we will place a little nose. Of course, you should have big eyes. This, the sign will be based more on the latest Wonder Woman movies with gold, gold dots. Her arm around her. Gadgets will be a little bit different than the others. So of course, they will be big pupils. And I'm leaving that bright spot here. Then we will have her TRR following the line, the whole top here. And then one more line. And then this design is more like a triangle going down like this. That's the basic form for toilet PRO. The earliest. Go ahead and erase the first slides. So don't be afraid to use the eraser. Same here. If the eye is getting a bit too cluttered, too many lines, just go ahead and erase little bit. So you get the white altogether. Let's see. We will have a bit more of a pointed shape for her shin there. Of course you will have TO ears just showing slightly because we're going to draw some hair on top of this. So let's start with the hair here. It's drawing curved line, something like this. Then we will have here going. Something like this. Will be almost following the same line here, but a little bit varied. I'm dumb. Doing some lines up here. I'm just continuing the hair to the side. I'm not going to do the hair quite yet because I want to place the body first. Before we leave the face. Of course, you should have a little mouth. Looking something like this. She's quite concentrated. Fill in the eyes just a little bit like that. When it comes to the body, we will start with the neck and you have your guideline here. You just have the neck coming from the opposite direction. A little bit like that. Then we will draw a little curve here. But it's going to be her body. Something like this can even make it even more saturated. And from here we will draw her her body torso going something like this. This will be the breast line. I mean, hard to sign. There is a little eagle on top here, so I will just make it very simplified. Head of an eagle. Top there. The levels do a very simple body. Going down. Then we will use the same doubled peptide pattern that we did earlier. About a simple but effective to work with. Don't hear his her waist. From this line, we can draw your stuff up like this. We will have same doubled pectin going down on both sides. There will be a little rectangle here. Just a little bit. On this lower line will go up underneath the rectangle. Since she's going to be quite curvy it we will draw quite big hips, something like this. Of course. Her leg. So you mentioned that this is almost like an oval shaped like this. Down their leg will be angled this direction. With the knee on top here. Just make very, very tiny feet. Four. We're still going to keep this quite cartoony. Not too realistic. She has some kind of armor on top of her knee. And from there there's a little line going down here. There's a double line up here too. And, um, she has sort of some farm we're going over or hip. Follow the curve of her hip. Follow the fly down. There will be some few details. Sarah Lariam, small wells will be the same on this side. You have a little bit of a pattern on the side and the hip are going down there. Don't get slight leg will be under the other one, then it will come out from behind here. So you just imagine that you have in here. Then the other shoe, they're quite dynamic pose. It could look quite complicated when everything is finished, but now when we go through it step-by-step, it will be easy for you to duplicate this. You'll start with this shape. You draw the torso. For all that. You can draw the hips and the legs like that. And then we will continue with her shoulders. We will add little shoulder like that and a little shoulder like that. And from there we will draw her arms. Going to hold on to the background. You also draw the first part, the upper arm, and then they will have, you're still a little bit of a segment here on both sides. And on top of that you can draw the racers to lyse like that. And under the braces. And then you have the handout. You'll start with a bowl. And then you will draw her thumb. A walnut were fingers like that. And then this hand, I think she's she's holding her lasso. So let's go ahead and draw some lines for the lasso to oval shapes like that. And when you have the loss already, you can draw the other finger showing us a little bit what the endodermis I can come out in the serpent shape like that. And then we have the other arm and it should be angled. Not straight because this is how it works when it comes to drawing, is that if you have a lot of straight lines like that, the drawings become, become very stable. But if you ask to angle your lines a little bit, like with a body gets more unstable and also it gets more interesting. So let's go ahead and draw the upper arm first. And then the lower arm. With the beginning of the racers. Just do the same minuses there. Elder debris, scissors. And then you have the hand starting with a bowl. And then her hand she will having her sword will be angled. Like this means that she will having her grip thing like this. And then you will draw the thumb and the fingers. Then you can draw the hilt with a little ball in there. The design of the sword for this one is that your straw to end sticking out like that? That's how the movie, so it looks like the Sword have quite interesting design. But if you draw like a diamond shape, but you don't finish it at top. So you got to design for the sword. Imagine that you have this diamond shape, but you don't finish the top. And from there you will have the blade sticking out. Don't worry about it. Everything is supposed to look perfect or anything. This is just a doodle. And then I'm doing a very simplified version of the redesign. Three Hubbard little salt. That's a seat. I got a bit too messy in the top. So let's go ahead and remove a little bit of the lines there. Get a little bit cleaner blade. And now when I add the bad at body out, I will draw the rest of the hair. I wanted to come out a little bit from behind or body doing some sweeping curves. The same from this side I think I will have a little bit of a longer shape having a curve going like this. So didn't not the same. Giving it a little bit moreover variation. Then we can define the tiara to she has a star on this one too, but it's not quite the same design. I will just make a simplified version of it. So I'll make it almost like an advanced star showing like this. If you want to. You can of course, add some lashes to her eyes. Normally, I'll start by doing. Base for the lashes, a little bit stronger. Base on top here. We'll draw some eyelashes sticking out like that. Five of them. You have a bit of a more feminine version lobe. Wonderful. When compared to the others too. She's still cartoonish. And let's go ahead and define the lines. Make sure that her eyes are Begin bright. When you draw something that is cartoony. There's always sort of a border. When you go a bit too realistic. This is very interesting because it's very nice to go forth and back from something that is very, very simplified and exaggerated to something that is looking more realistic. What do you have to be little bit careful not to just say push to realism too far. I think we are sticking to the cartoony version quite well here. Let's go ahead and do the TRO. Her star. I don't know if you have seen everything that is produced with Wonder Woman. What I I wonder what is your favorite? Which the sign? Because now when you have Doing Drawing, Wonder Woman in different poses and different kind of character design choices. You can of course, shapes that. Look a little bit and add your favorite version of her. Maybe you really prefer her to be old school. Or maybe you've preferred version. The best. We can do. Maybe a little bit of a shade here. Yes, a little bit. So whoever had this pumping out, some don't do the ego. For me. I find it very interesting to see the different versions because it saves quite a lot of the time. When there were made. This up here is like a time capsule. Sometimes that time capsules spills over into our time and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. But still I mean superhero, so very popular. Most of those design, so Steele made from those earlier versions from strong man, from wrestlers and ancient Greek warriors. Something that is still appealing to us today. So it's interesting. Just make sure that the lines here are a bit stronger. So dislike is showing that it's on top of the other leg. We talked a little bit earlier about it. As you see that when I make this line is stronger, this line is weaker. It means that this leg is on top of the other one. Her bracelets, racers, sorry, bracelets or something completely different. It could be fun also to draw her muscle, truth. We will do her other arm or simplified the sign for her sword. If you want to. Of course, we can remove a little bit of the lines from before ending up for a little bit. She should have dark hair. So let's go ahead and shade it. Hello, So you show the worry about staying inside the lines. It's about practicing. Nothing you're going to be buddies can do with just a little bit darker. I have enough to actually draw them. Wonder Woman, all that often actually. When it comes to super heroines, mostly hand-drawn storm, which we will go through a little bit later. But it doesn't matter which were some home a superhero you draw. You can still use the same principles for all of them. So let's go ahead and define the lines just a little bit better. Making sure that the focus goes to her face. If you're won't do, of course you can make your smile. So males by adding some small circles there. So always nice as to be agreed to by the smile. Should do a little bit stronger. Lines. There you go. Talking and drawing at the same time, maybe it's not my strongest superpower. So sometimes my hand flips a little bit. But I'm not going to cry about it. It's more about law thing, about things. So if you feel that you are making a mistake, you'll see it as something amusing. Meals continue with your exercise instead. And that's focusing on what do you think things are supposed to be? We can actually make the hair even a little bit darker. A little bit. Never be shy to go forth and back in your drawing. If you feel that you get stuck. Just start over. This is all about learning, experiences, mentoring, and having fun. So don't see your drawing as something that has to be final. C does something that is going to be a stepping stone on your journey to becoming a great illustrator. Remove that one. There you go. One, crime fighting is wonderful metal in a very dramatic and heroic pose. Good work, and see you in the next lesson. 9. Na Na Na Na Batman: So next, I thought we will do another classical superhero, Batman. And we will start by doing his head rectangle. We will angle his whole composition. For a more dramatic effect. Let's start with a triangle and undo a guideline. Of course, we will add those two points for the bat ears. Number can do yesterday a little bit of an oval shape on top of the head. Done down here will be where his mouth will be. Another oval shape. Like that. We'll do a little sharp shape for his nose. Not following the guidelines of shade one side? Yes. Just a little bit down here written. Just a little bit for his mouth and she will be I should say, we can make it. Assumes failure, little bit. Pointed. Draw up his hood. Sorry, because again, put more strength to live in fear. So to see what we're doing. Batman was first published in the end of the '30s. I think it will select Info dynein and compare it to Superman. Batman doesn't have any built-in powers. So he's very reliable, libeled on his gadgets. And he's been data. Will start to do the eyes. What else doing? Two circles like that. Then we will erase the top of them. Little bit overhaul, midway. Angle his eyes so he looks very, very angry where it started. Because map on this trying to intimidate people. This part of his tactics, it's not like Superman that they can just show up and people know that they have no choice. That's been asked to work for it. And of course you should have a stern expression. So let's go ahead and do that. Most like that. When it comes to drawing the rest of the body, you can use to measure the head. The top of the points tear down here. This is how long the rest of the body will be. We will draw a line like that. The body will be based on a circle. Homeless going up into where his faces. We will draw some line for his leg, ending with a little foot. That's what disgust with the proportions will be closer to baby then the adult. Just making this Batman quite cute. Let's go ahead and draw the line for us. Belt. His utility belt or stone here? Yes. Making a little car here because here the other leg will be pulled up like this. You really will see the part of his other foot underneath. We will do the details. So his belt is utility belt and as you see this, the sign is more based on TV series. Without a West. I think it was running from 1966. Let's just do a very small single error. We will make it bigger symbol on top here later also. It will be easier to see the exact design of his of his bad. Almost going to say that in the TV series, The other utility belt and it can pull out all kind of things from this pocket study has on the belt to help him during his adventures. He also imagine that they are too small. Small bag Sarah touched to the belt with the lid. I'm a little bottle to look at. Since we're making about a little bit fat, we will just add a little bit of weight to his side. Sarah is Shelby bottom-up. We will do the arms and they will be like the bank sausages we talked about earlier. They're going to make dramatic posts when it comes flying down towards someone who thinks he's a bad guy. Same here, too loud, too little bit more. To the side here. Let's talk a little bit more. That looks better. Giving him some more volume. And a little bit softer carryover. From this sausage hands, arms we will do heads, will be starting with bolts. Like this. On top of that we will do fingers, starting with the phone. The other three fingers, quite chubby fingers. Then we'll do the same pattern us with both superman and Wonder Woman. This classical rescaling boots, gloves. Let's go ahead and define what's a little bit better. The other being quite many versions so that they all have in common is that he asked his own kind of justice. And if you're wants to. The right thing, but he doesn't care about the law. So there's always been a strong connection to the police force him. Well, most of golf and breweries operating him. Of course, the TV series motion has more of these lead to Todd designed. There were no built-in muscles or anything. So This Batman is to say more, maybe a little bit more role, more real than the abutments that showed up earlier. We will draw another worsened also be the more mottled look for the Batman. But at the moment, we will focus on the Cape Crusader. With this little to none, none, none, none about tomorrow. So when it comes to a symbol, you draw an oval shaped like this. We can use the guidelines we have here. From that, we will draw two ears. And along the sides we can just follow that shape to do the shape of the wing. Them from the top up here, withdrawals to one's dumbed down there. The one bend up here from the middle layer, which oils to point. There will be another point in the middle here. Same on this side. So there we have the abutment symbol. The classical world. Meals clean up a little bit since there were too many lines in the same place. Let's make sure that you use the eraser when you feel you need it. Don't be shy. Of course he should have his cape two. We will do big circle going down like this. Start with number, will come out here from this little slide. Little bell there. What we'll do a small bones. The bigger belt off to the stairs. There you have one side. We should do the other. Bob. Next up Steven, I'll do a little bit bigger angle towards the body. Hello, I will start from the other side too, and this hole will come out from his thigh there. We will make two petals here. One small and one big. One is of course, coming up to the outside air. Maybe just a little bit more. So there we have escape. So let's go hard to find the lines with a black pencil. Start with the nose. Just a little bit of shade hair always. Just a little bit to his face. I don't know which version lot about bogus, your favorite. But mine is always being a little bit more of the old school walls. I have a lot of comic books back home. Quite a lot of them are from the '70s, early '80s. Let's go ahead and define the eyes. Even though he's cartoonish, it can be a little bit intimidating. Looking very angry. I think it is that indoor regional first version. He got his inspiration from bats to be scary. In the later versions. He was stuck in a well that scared him a lot when it was still there. But it doesn't matter which version you based your best bet on because they will still be based on that. Let's go ahead and do the arms. His little belly fat, they're speaking out, almost gone that is not as fat and all kind of call them Fatima and looks a little bit chubby. Since the sunlight creature is probably all, maybe going to differentiate it will be too often. I don't know what food the best, but actually it's maybe there's something you can imagine. Maybe likes to bake cakes, lot of proteins that it needs when he's going to fight crime. Let's go ahead and draw the little bags there. We will do. Don't buckle. Draw the same design. This here. It's a little bit cluttered since it's quite small, but it works in the same way we drew up there. Can you also feel it in the US to slightly, I think disliked. We can do it a little bit more curved. But it's more curved like this. Shape looks more interesting. With this little undergarment. His thigh. And as you'll see, I'm not following the blue lines hundred percent strictly. So let me sketch. Sometimes you feel that the line is supposed to be somewhere else and then you go ahead and do that. Since the foot underneath is, we should draw a little bit stronger line here. You see the fruit is going else at least the thigh. Yeah. I think we can actually make this leg a little bit fatter. The evil, a little bit more curved. Got to be a lot of erasing today. Trying to find that shape I'm looking for, erased this site also since it's cluttered. Remember, we're not looking for something that is perfect. We're looking for you to have fun when you're experimenting and learning. Let's go ahead and do the tape. Of course. When it comes to the TV series, yeah, the sidekick Robin, always started so holy. But we're not going to draw in where I see about my Morris, a solitary superhero. It works on its own. So this guy is more closely to the comic book version. Let's do the logo here. The backside. Just make sure that there's a curve there. Then we can shade it just slightly. So for this part of his symbol, a little bit more weight to his shield bearer. Giving more focused on his face. Of course, we can shade up giving him more contrast and lifting is bought into the foreground. So then you draw this character. You tell me my job. Which of your favorite actors who have played bath bomb is actually in the suit? Hundred percent sure that the blue shades to the side a little bit. Especially if you redraw this a few times. Because everyone was played bad but has brought something to the character and changed him slightly. So it's locked all the way. His costume, more or more or his weapon looks like it's also what's going on inside. Something like that. We can also put some more strength to his place also. Do the other side. I think I can say that I think my favorite movie version of that one is probably in Christian Bale's performance. Christopher Nolan's geology, giving you a burst in the store and complicated performance. With the drawing. There's no right or wrong. It's just that everybody has different favorites. Hello. So I'm a huge fan of Christopher Nolan's movies. So do the shading as usual, don't worry about staying inside the lines. Sold about practice. And if you go outside the lines, you can always use the eraser tool. Fixed a little go line that is escaping outside. Let's go ahead. I'll give some more strength to the body. About tears. Can even erase that little thing here. There you go. One classical Batman. And as you see, I've done the composition like this, that I tilted everything to make it more dramatic because we've been drawing him standing up more, more like this. It will be more rigid. And this gives a more interesting while you're drawing your character, tilted me a little bit to the side. Lastly, I want to show you when you're shading. To get them even result, you can, instead of us doing the shading one direction, you can do it in two directions. So let's go ahead and shade this crisscross pattern. So to say. This is this a good practice for you to train your how much pressure you should put on the pencil. You can also be that you get a little bit of a pattern depending on the background. If your table's a little bit wobbly. But don't worry about that. This is no perfection we're looking for is just experience and having fun. Now, let's go ahead and do the other part too. Worried about staying inside the line would work out fine anyway. Now, you should have a more even shade. Good work and see you in the next lesson. 10. Dark Knight: So let's go ahead and do another version of Batman. This time it's the dark lights. We will start by drawing the head. That's the number. We'll have more of an oval shape for the body. In this case, we're not going to do with the previous one type of fraud joules. So we will turn that much just a little bit to the side. We're going to add some guidelines to the head, to the body. Like this. Though, of course we will have two legs. They will stand quite wide. Heroic pose. Then we will have the feet down here. Very, very rough. Rough layout. The, they have two arms, two sausages, while on this side and ball on his side. When it comes to the head, we will do it a little bit flat here. So let's draw a V. From there. We will draw a straight line up here and then follow the bowl shape around to this side. And then we will do another straight line up here. From here we will draw his pointed ears that there's donald dislike bubble. Layers here. Can help them a little bit longer on this side. Like that. With the previous one, the, he didn't have the most gold the way Donald. They had to wear a mask all the way down. Both with the modern dark light, yes, his Mosque covering him, his shimmery little bit. So we will add just a little bit mask to his loader lower face shape. And then we will do in the notes quite straight line like that. Can go ahead and erase a little bit. Then continue the oval shape to this side and an oval shape on this side. They will have, of course his eyes quite big. And that's the same with the previous one. We asked to erase the top of the ice and done draw his angry ice. We can make an acceleration also that since the face is tone decide will be a bit smaller. We can make this bigger. We can make this even a bit bigger. To exaggerate that perspective the most. And then of course is a bit angry mouth to make sure that we see what we're doing. So let's clarify. These lines. Will draw decided on the face just a little bit bigger. A little bit. Also make sure that it's a little bit round and it got a little bit flat on top here. So let's go back and make sure that this a bit rolled or on the top. But looks better. Ear the back side of his head. I think this is a good start. Let me go to the continue with his body. Draw the joint, slipped a little bit here at all here. Doing this kind of little shape for his back. We will add the utility belt. I think all the signs of Batman has this never leaves his cave without his belt. We will do his body. I'm just going to say that this is a little bit of a mashup from all modern months. And everything started with Frank Miller ran the unreleased The Dark Knight in 1996. All of a sudden, Batman got very much more darker, sinister. I was 14 at a time when it had a huge impact on me. I really, really love what you did with the Batman. So this is a little bit of a mashup of costumes made after that era. They added a lot of armor, in different words, shells. So we'll, we'll do our own version of that. So all his belt, there's still a gadget, some pockets, etc. They looked not quite the same as with the the earlier about one-bedroom. To have the same function. Then of course we will add body armor to this Batman. We will stop with just here. Just imagine that you have a bot, a half circle, real toppled or sarco is here along you're gay guy, guideline, dorm or goes down here and then follows to waste a little bit. Same on this side. And then you will add some armor, whole top of his abdominal muscles. We've looked through all of them. As the real armour has passed, we will just do sort of a symbol for this armor part. It works either way, the same down here. We also follow this guideline to do the protective part here. And then we will have one line going off in this direction. What we'll do the lucky can make it just a little bit thicker. So it will have protective armour on his legs to where we can start by doing the knee armor. Then from that we will draw his boots sticking out just a little bit out from his knee armor. Then we will do a little bit of a curved line here for his shoes. I've probably asked to add a little bit of length compared to what we drew earlier. Some space for his his armored boots. We will have the flat though is foot like this. So you'll start with your sausage. You add the, the part. You do, the top of the boots, do the curvy line and then you have the shoe at the bottom. When you first look at it, look more complicated than this, but when you break it down, it will be easy for you to finish that. Now, we'll do the same here. We have the sausage parts. Add a little bit to the knee part here. The part sticking out from the sides. And then we have that opening before the foot can even make them a little bit more. Point to the photo on the top there. There at the rest of the filter. We can make the foot just a little bit finger underneath there, just a little bit bigger. So there you go. I can add some shade there too. Just a little bit. Don't worry, we'll do the arms. You have your base for your sausages here. On top of that, we will do shoulder armor. While the curve there, straight curve, then followed the sausage, but then we have the sausage lying there and we will do the lower part of the arm. And that will be a little bit bigger. A little bit. Here we will have a line going like that. Then we will have those spikes. That's about my house. We will draw three spikes here. We will have the hand. Let's do that circle. Then we will have a thumb here. Then when you corrupt your hands on your finger, goes like this. So what you can do is just draw that finger going. You don't draw the line outside like this. You have the top of their control. Their fingers. Just a little bit. He's clenching your fist? Quite a lot. We will do the other arm. Starting with the shoulder armor. Then you have your little sausage sticking out there. The lower arm does a little bit wider. That extra line. Spikes showing coming out up. Storm is tilted a little bit in the thorax, this direction. Donald coming up from this area below or from Boeing there. Don't do the other, hand them to the grid. The same hair color. Let's fingering. When the adult is, you can draw an extra strength on top here. Should do the same here also. So it looks correct. The thumb, this slide should be on top of the other lines. Like this. 2% happy with this slide. Let's redo it a little bit. I think we shouldn't turn to hold as much as I did. So we will spend a little bit more in this direction, not showing the other fingers. So much. I think this looks better. More of a side view of the hub. Yes. I think this is a good start. Then of course you should have is k. So let's start drawing the cape from up here. Let's do a subtotal. Wobbly lines. Making sure that I'm not outside the picture. A little dump a big bump, a little bit longer stretch. There you have that sharp point just a little bit up the level. Go ahead and draw the cape here. Why I do it from two sides is that for me, it's easier to see that I'm not going all the way out, that it's getting too big involved side. Because if you start from both side and then we'll continue on the other side. We'll meet up in the middle lane. Don't end up outside of the picture or in a place you don't want the CAPM. Sibelius do a little bit of angle they're doing. And then this, I will not do any points. Do do boats and stuff. Maybe a little bit smaller. Circle there. There we go. There we have the cape. Let's come to define the lines just a little bit stronger. In this case, there is about symbol here. I will draw it very small because there's not so much room left here. But the bat symbol looks like this. Very simplified. You have the rest of the body here. Very simplified. I think we should do to have just a little bit smaller and going beneath the wings. There are, of course a lot of versions of these two, but this is a bit more of the mother Marsha loved about symbol compared to the one we drew earlier. So I will just make a very, very simplified little about symbol here at home is just showing slightly. I think he's throwing stars are actually in this shape too. Let's go ahead and define the lines. Start with the very Greek profile. And this is same here. I'm sure that you have a favorite version of The Dark Knight. When do you imagine the actor? The displaying that? You can always add something when you redraw this. That is fitting to Dr. Nestle, I said earlier, my favorite Martin Batman is played by my favorite personal blog, the motor Batman is, of course, Christian Bale. There's quite a lot of actors that have taken on the mantle. So I'm not sure if that is your favorite bummer. If you have a different opinion. I'm just doing a little bit thicker line on top here, almost mimicking the eyebrow. So let's go ahead and add those armor pieces. I think the most armor that but house is probably for all the Justice League. He's almost like a medieval light there. Like a tank. The huge difference compared to other vests that from the '60s that you see that when you're drawing a simplified version of the arm, but it still works. It looks quite suit. Even though they don't add exactly the same details as the movie version. It's all about finding. Looked at is running through your whole design. Then stick with it. Heels, keeping everything, all the cartoon aside. Continued to do his legs. Because what will happen if you do, if you do one part of this drawing and make it quite realistic, it won't work because it will pop up too much from the rest of the ROI. And it's the same. If you do have a really realistic drawing, you make one part quite cartoony. Dust will stick together. No matter what versions to choose. Just continue to do something that is the same. All through your drawing. Ugliest, make some parts a little bit stronger. Withdrawal dislike, little bit stronger. So the arm is going the backside of the body without some way to the head, drawing the shoes stronger so it pops out from the body. Well, it's the same hair, just a little bit stronger lines. So the arm is coming in for all of the side of the body there. Of course, this anchoring, anchoring Batman to the ground by drawing straight lines underneath his feet. We can also draw some shade here. The ground. My pattern, wobbly line. That was all slip. We will do the can, of course leave the cape without any shade. That's fine too. So you can try both versions. When you practice this drawing, one, shaded and unshaded. See how that works. I will just go ahead and shade this slope. I showed earlier with other Marshall about them. We will do cross shading. Usual. Don't worry about the lines. Just have fun. Don't let your arm guide the pencil. Will see that these points should maybe be a little bit more visible. So let's remove a little bit of the shader. Also do lab strings to the outlines so they don't disappear into the shade. And of course, Batman suits or more, etc, is usually quite dark. So you can go ahead and shade the whole character. But I think it will be a bit too messy. So if you want to try that, please go ahead, but be very gentle and go slowly over the drawing. So you don't lose all the details in the drawing. There you go. One dark night. Or as Christian Bale would say. Batman. Good work and see you in the next lesson. 11. Spider-Man: So next up is the Amazing Spider-Man. And I thought we would do a frog view. First of him going to start with a bowl-shaped rough ball. Don't worry, we'll do two half circles. A little bit of a guide. I will send the middle here. So it's easier to place all the parts and also make the guideline for his face. Throughout the body. The legs will be Roll circle down here. Then you have the legs 2 ft, like this. Arms, circles on the side there. And then I will have the house. You can do a guideline there too, if you want to. You can place the house about the same slide there. That's a good start. Seals to find out a little bit better. What I mentioned earlier is that spiderman is one of my favorite superheroes. I guess it's partly because he's kind of a nerd, like science a lot. I think he also wanted to first teenagers to headline his old comic book. Because earlier most teenager variable sidekicks before steadily published Spiderman in 1962. I think it was. Why we draw the Spiderman from the front noise because he has a patent on this suits. Easier to learn to pet them. Heels, drawing, it's from a front view. It's going to be much more simple. So what we can start with is to do his waist. Now slick, slightly curved up there and then SLOs electric car up here will be both the same term here, almost like a belt. Then we will have two curved lines going up towards this will be another curved line here, another one here, down there, and then the line Altair. Dumb, he has his path of beer is web. Why are they these lines? And since it's going to be, just imagine that you have lights like that and I'm going to draw this line. We will make slight curves like this in making the mimicking the web of a spider web. So let's just imagine that you slide curves like this. There you go. You have done your first Spider-Man pattern was quite easy, wasn't it? Will do the boots. Actually makes them a little bit rounded OpEx. It looks cute or more of a curve there. Don't worry, we'll have two lines here following the lines of the leg. Two lines here. Two lines. The boots as well. Of course, the Bobi spider line there. We, us do the curves again. Going slightly up like this. And the same with the feet. Little bit, slight curve number. We'll do the loveliest to a little thumb there. A little while. There's the rest of the finger. And thumb from this line. Somewhere around here will be the next pattern. Normally us to make two slight curves. Done a single one. Like this. The longest fingers. They will be petals looking like this. You just divide up two fingers with the free lines on the phone. I'm forum for lines on his finger. Let's go ahead and do the other arm. During the following, this line out here, doing one line here, line here, line going out there. 1231234. Don't worry about them being hundred percent correct. It will look good anyway. Once you have finalized the whole drawing, everything will fall into place. Nowhere done the body, I'm going to go ahead and do the, the face. Imagine that you half, half of this side. And then you make another half of this slide. From, from down here. We'll make a cut here and cut here a little bit outside of the pattern on the body. Just a little bit lower. You can draw the eyes. We're going to do them super big. Fallen to the side of the head. Knowledge and fall on the line up here. And under running towards the middle. And I'm going to do the same here on this side. Going all the way out. Close to the edge of the head. You can do, we'll still do a bit of a guideline here. Get dy is about the same size. The ice will be quite sick. The line around them. Sales, go ahead and shade them. Something like this. Part that is left here will be split into three pieces. So we make a line down here. Same oldest side going outside of his body there. And then we will have warm up their strength from the line. The lights, of course, toes towards the middle. There's a lot of different variations of the signs of the button for Spider-Man buyer for people to do something that is quite simple. Know about them. These lines with alleles do. Another line that is going around the ultra, almost on the outer atoms shoulder, head, up here and also down here. Like this. Then we will have another path to another circle. Inside here. Of course, we will do the same with doing those lines. But this time we will be angled in this direction. You don't have to make your butter lot of dramatic curves there. He also built a little bit like this. It looks good. Can do. We'll still little bit of shade on beneath him also, standing on the ground. Lastly, we will place this spider symbol. It should be somewhere around, somewhere around here. So to draw a head first and then the body. Then we will draw eight legs. Draw the symbol a little bit bigger outside is smaller here. So the body from their portfolios through links like that. So slightly straight up and down, straight up. And do the same for the back legs. The final pair. So this is the basic symbol for spider web. There are of course many versions from that, also worse, stylized, but we withdraw it. Quite simple. Cartoon it. I think as long as you put eight legs here, it will be under percent okay. Because somebody will understand that it's the same symbol of a spider. The lumbar tables bit by. So let's go ahead and define the lines with the blood vessel. I think I will start with the eyes, heels, drawing some strings on the outline and then fill them in later. And Spiderman is a bit like Batman, that he is hiding his identity. He has to have a mouse. With this mosque, of course you should. You should be able to intimidate your opponents. So that's why he's always are looking angry. Spiderman is not as intimidating when it comes to Bethmann when he's talking. Spider monkeys usually just making jokes. So jumping around and goofing off. So there we have the eyes. I'm going to draw the pattern. We shouldn't put as much strength. The pencil. So draw these lines a little bit lighter. So you don't dominate the drawing. Let's try to be a little bit light on your hand. With hello TO superhero movies. Quite a few actors that played Spider-Man, and I don't know which one is your favorite. I don't really have a favorite when it comes to the movies. Be more into the comic books. When it comes to Spider-Man. Movies are good. But I think the image I have of spiderman is more close to what is going on in the comics. Unless you shall rebuild, adds a little bit of strength from the nucleus feet to connect him to the ground. Let's try to be polite. And all the lines that I'm making bit stronger as the outlines and also the in this case the shape of the thumb. Turn his gloves, his will, his body. Historians changed a little bit. Especially since they started to be normal high-school go up two levels, more of a girl up being married and everything like that. But the kinds of powers he has when it comes to being bitten by, bitten by a radioactive spider. It's a little bit different depending on if he actually invented the web coaster or if it's actually it was mutated into having that kind of ability by himself. I think both Virgil's works quite well. I'm just going to strengthen the lines are a little bit so they don't melt into the patterns. Easier to see. What's going on in their drawing. Of course, make sure that gets the most attention. Most focus. Not worry if the lines are a little bit. Hopefully you're not going in the horizontal direction that you're welcome to. This is just practice. So let's go ahead and draw. Your hand. Become free of exploring the drawing. It's going to make it a little bit more attention to the eyes there. We give focus to his face. And I'll of course, just slightly, of course like the going over some shallow marine styling. There is the Amazing Spider-Man. Good work and see you in the next lesson. 12. Web-Slinger: So the next Spiderman we're going to do, it will be more of a actual field drawing. We will still start with the same head. Don't worry, we'll do a body. Who all blue shape like this. The woman. I've guideline for the body. I'd done my booby. Imagine that you have a bowl, like a basketball. But we will turn it a little bit just a little bit from underneath. Underneath. The guideline will be going something like this. The left like this. We're looking a little bit from underneath. And it's hard to start in this direction. The body and then of course we will do his leg, yes. Continue this line a little bit further. His lower part of the body there. No. Leg is another base, this belt. We'll see a little bit too obvious. Foot sticking out like that. Of course is other leg will be coming out here. But this one I think will be stretched out a little bit. Number it will do a slight curve. Something like this. I think I made the legs a little bit too. Let's go ahead and scale it down a little bit. Just a little bit like this. His foot up like that. You have your oval shape there and you follow follow that shape to create the leg. The other leg. Coming out like this. We will have his arms being dumped in this way. His sausages norm here. Of course, in his hand that was just be a bolt to start with. His other arm will be dome here. A lot of bulk for his hand. We will draw the same pattern as with other Wong who was taught with what looks almost like a belt. This is why it's quite good sometimes seals to draw the characteristics from a frontal view. To get to know the the patterns solid. If it has some complicated, decide. You see all males following the guideline here. Adding the patho, we're going up towards the top of his torso. Small line here. One line here. Little bit softer curve there. Just making sure that there are some, a little bit room between the legs coil when the particles, but the patterns together where we'll continue with this V-shape. Like this. Hello. As you see, the body is going in front of the head, making sure that there's belt? No. Putting all his gloves. We will, of course do. I think it's a slope like this is actually like this one. He is firing his web from this point. So there will be used a little bit of a hole here. Draw his fingers. Then from this little hole, we will draw web flowing out. They can be a little bit of a wobbly lines on the outside like this. We can even make a little bit of a web showing us to move about the sun. Coming out from the site there. We will draw the rings, not the sign showing on this globe. That looks good. Let's go ahead and do the other arm also. Glove. Know what happened with what dislike. Let's define this a little bit better. Supposed to be a bit straighter. Here, every hub going up all his glove. I think he will be holding the other web that is usually doing when his flag between buildings. Maybe this web is a little bit more open in the beginning. I miss doing curved shape pair. We can make just a little bit of a wobbly line a lot site showing that the web is a bit sticky. The same error. Drawing almost like you are freezing to almost like your left inside there. Shouldn't be forgetting his boots. Pattern go to yes, that looks good. Let's do the head. The guidelines here. With them. We will use them to draw the pattern for his head. Let's to go out and do the middle line there first. And then we will split this into two ofs, saving this direction. The fiber. Health threat. Show this ball a little bit better. We will do a little bit of a split here. We will remove the middle line. Do those big ice. One is following the line on top here, like last time. A guy, of course we will have another big guy on this side. But we will not. This outer line here will not be showing, so it will be just the black lines going out to the edge, will be the white of the eye here. Showing one more line here. Why not remove the guidelines? To give him a little bit more of a character? Almost like a little slow tear. Imagine that is low systolic and starting around here, we've really lost a little bit of space. Let me fear. Bell disliked a little bit more. You just imagine that he has his nose and mouth parts. Garden strikes and they're like they're known as last time. There will be a line going here. Face another line here. Same on the top here. Then we can add just one more line following the altar line here. Like this. Of course we, we should do his spider also held on the body, then his legs. Since the body is tilted downwards like that, it means that this part will be a little bit bigger than the top part. He'll still slightly. Just imagine that the picture is angled. Yes, to add a little bit of perspective on the symbol. So let's go for it, for the black pencil. Stuck with eyes. Starting a little mental strength on the edges here. Same here. Little snow. As we did with the other bad Spider-Man. Just be gentle, told them you're doing the limestone. Get to to stroke your spelling those lines. You're slightly a little bit. Since the Blue Lives for a little bit distracting, they're going to remove them. Body. When do you have learned to draw posts like this one? You can of course change the hero might just imagine that your redressing the pulse width, the skin of another superhero. Somebody comes to the comic books. Quite often. Spiderman is drawn in very athletic and acrobatic. Post this. Since it's very, very enjoyable. I don't know if you know about Called Pay Burger King told him, but he said something very interesting that there are not so many happy superheroes. I think in the beginning, when they go to superpowers, he will seal using them for himself. Just having fun. When he was on his uncle was killed. It changed him quite a lot on his torch to use your powers for good fighting crime. It's quite often in the movies and comic books there are some slight variations to exactly what happened. But this is mainly just woke him up, shoot Kim quite drastically. Because Peter Parker, muscle orphan. He held this all to local. Very high. I loved them very dearly. Let's go ahead and do a little bit wobbly line error with a black. Don't have to trace it onto herself perfectly according to the blue. So don't worry. You don't have to match up perfectly. Little bit too messy. There can be quite gel to let me do the the web texture here. Don't have to draw all super, super-strong. Let's go ahead and do the last term, the last sausage. So when you're drawing arms, you can just imagine them as sausages. On top of the sausage is wrong bowl, that is the hand. Attached to that ball is other soldiers that are the fingers. So it's a way to imagine the anatomy. Let's go ahead and be as widely as you want to. So the full web-based going outside of the camera. But you can see the full weapon or did you pay to buy into his patterns? I'm just going to go ahead and strengths from dark to light. I'm actually going to draw them quite strong. Because I want the focus to go to the character and not to the web. Text. The texture. A lot of value too. Because if all the lines have the same value, which is quite hard to actually read the drawing. So this is a way to three, directing the attention of the focus you want. It's not the web. That's the most important part is the posterior of the body. Of course, his face with the big ice. Yes. This looks good. One acrobatic, flying, speedy, good work. And I hope you are having a lot of fun and see you in the next lesson. 13. Storm: So next up we will do storm. One of the most powerful tools. We will start with her head, just drawing a circle like this. Guideline. The guideline for the middle of the bowl here. We will start by defining the hand. Let's go ahead and make sure that we see the bowl hair on top of this guideline. We will start with it here. We will have one, they are there, the rear here. And do the inner ear. From the bottom of the ear, we will draw another guideline. Underneath this guideline, withdraw the nose. What we'll do, we'll do this kind of shape. Now of course you will have a mouth. Let's go ahead and draw lips like that. Feminine live lips. She will have two beautiful big eyes. So let's go ahead and draw two big bowl cir, circles. Starting from that line here. Growing up. Don't worry. You feel that it doesn't get the right proportions. It will look okay in Diane when everything is finished. So let's go ahead and play around with the lines. We will erase the top of the ice. Two lines like this. She will look quite stern, quite intimidating. Let me go a little bit more. Black on the top here. Almost like eyebrows. Because I will not paint all die by a browser. Her, they will be included in her eyes. Then we can go ahead and do almost a bit like I'm a scar on the side here. On both sides. And undo this kind of shaped like a little not there. Like a little edge there. Then we will do the she's going to wear a tiara. So draw two lines on each side, coming out from the ear. Slightly. Unlike that. Of course, you can draw another guideline. You feel that they are almost the same place. Then on top here. Make just a little guideline there. And then they will draw a circle here. Up here. The same from the other side. Can do the guideline a little bit more clearer, a little longer up. Now top here, there will be a circle. Let me draw another circle outside of it. Will be the center of the TRO. Will be two lines following this one. And another line following this line. That is a little bit here. And I'm almost to that shared, there will be a vertical line. There you have the other part of the TRF. Let's go ahead and do the same on the other side. Make two lines thar following this line. And above the line, the following disliked small, they're almost out to that stair. We do vertical light. Then we can go ahead, erase some of the guidelines there. Then we can do the outline a little bit stronger. So we feel that the whole tower ice sticking together. And then of course you will have the flowing hair and it's coming out from here. So let's do one. Bo, going from there. Then it comes out in the middle of this. We have long curved like that. Then there will be the same on this side will not be the exactly the same curve, but about the same size. And it also comes out from this side. You must do occur, which will be a little bit higher up this one. Compared to this one. Number, we'll measure the head from top of the tiara to her shoe. Like this. This is where her feet will be. Above half of this. Be aware her waist, waistline, this. So let's go ahead and draw an oval shape here. And then she will have shoulder sticking out just a little bit like this. From the hips we will have a line going like this. Quite curvy, almost like your guitar. In the middle of her chest. She's how so? You will from that form, we'll have curved lines going out like this. That will be the top of her dress. With decoration. Like this. I can erase that guideline that you have here. Let's make the legs a little bit stronger. We will do her legs from here that she will have her little foot slightly angled. We really also draw her thigh and lower leg. So the outside here you can just do one long line going up. But just over the foot, you can just do a little, little bit of a long path. Just imagine that your house or near the little bit of a lump. Of course you will have the line of her boots. Boots here. Let's go ahead and do the same on the other side. Just imagine that this leg is going behind the other one, like this. Then we can do a decoration here on her hips to sort of mimicking the top ones will be the same about decide to. Like that. Of course you should have are both set to on the other side on this legacy of disappearing behind other foods. So there you have the body. Of course she will have arms. So let's go ahead and do that. Two lines like that has to managing that they are like sausages. She has bracelets all know, no bold for her hand. And she's called to hold her tape I think are real. I'm a big dramatic light like this. Just a little bit too low. It's going to make it just a little bit little bit shorter. Yeah, that's better. Then we will have a lot of the curve going like this. Similar to these patterns. They will be on that chair to her cape. Let's go ahead and draw that. Because following the other line, a role. When it comes to her hand. Imagine that toe, she have her thumb on one side of that job to keep. And then once you have that finger Sarah, outside, holding it very slightly warmer. If we just do a little bit of a change to this, we will go ahead and draw a curve that is more like this. I think this looks better. They've been doing this just to slightly rounder nose. You'll see I'm always going forth and back. And not worried that the first lines are perfect or in the right place. It's all about searching. With her other arm. It will be held up like this with her bracelet there. Of course, the bowl for the hand and I think around will be clenched fist. So let's go ahead and draw the thumb. Though her other fingers. Like that. Since storms, superpower is part of our superpower or to control lightening, we will do a little ring outsider overhead. And then from that, we will do very simple Lightning. Electricity. Coming out? Yes. So crooked lines, something like that. Then we will do the other side of the cape. I think he will be around here somewhere. Let's go ahead and do another line. Smoothing line and pointed inverse bit like this one. Then what we can do curve going in Boulder, her her leg. I think we will actually have the outer edge here instead. Look better. So I will just go ahead and use the shape build slightly. When we do the other line, just follow the outer one. The other hair on this side. I think I will do the same. Just erase a little bit. Let's see if we can find a similar wave. Maybe it's coming up a little bit higher. Yes, I think this looks good. So now we have the basis for her the sign and let's go ahead and define the lines. Can just do the most to start with. I think the backstory when it comes to storm is that she was born royal. She was a daughter of an African princess. I think the family was traveling quite a lot. But sadly she was orphaned. She was wandering the streets, I think might've been. I know if she was grown grown up in Harlem I1 over the various she was on the streets. Babies was the same place. And luckily, the head of the X-men, Professor X, found her. She joined the eczema. She is a mutant from birth and she has among the greatest power over mutants. Shins, since you can control or which draws power from the Earth's magnetic field. So let's go ahead and add some black to her eyes. Do the phase. She can also perfect. She has a very deep contact with the with a life force here on earth. I think that's something that she inherited from her mother. Tongue depressants. Sure, exactly. From which royal line that has this power, but there's some, some royal skill from Africa. There have been a lot of versions describing her background. There we add the tiara and we've shaded slightly. You should not worry about staying inside like hill slept your flow. I've been taught me to do this TRL, super, super black. He'll still be a little bit shaded. And I don't know which favorite you have the model to expand, But the storm is one of my biggest favorites. There's a lot of superheroes, tissues, sub-problems. So let's go ahead and put a little bit more strength, fair? Number without her hair line two. And then we will use this guideline to put the hair cells. Place a little.in the middle there. Beneath here you can draw to both the cellular saved from this site. Like that. Then we can do the hair. The hair is extremely white. And that's, I think is also something that goes from her heritage from Africa. The women with these powers have completely white hair. Shade this little stole too. Just a little bit here. It can just leave a little bit of light there. So give it a bit of a glimmer. As you'll see, even though everything is not 100% when it comes to proportions or lines or whatever, but it will melt together very nicely when you've finished drawing. So that's why I'm telling you the two don't worry that that you see that something is a little bit crooked, but it will look. Okay. She also have this kind of wrestler boots. I think storm was first published in 1975. I think. She's still in that era from the older superheroes. Let's do the cape too. The other. So this will be a more controlled version. Storm. And the next one we will draw my shear will be in the great state of sugary here, or she's just showing her powers a little bit. I don't know if there will be a standalone store movie, but I would hope it will be actually, it would be pretty cool. She's quite connected with the X-Men, but I would like to see her in her own way will be really cool. Let's come to strengthen the lines just a little bit better. Of course, we can do a shade for her too. So with her powers, she can create lightning, tornadoes, blizzards. I think she also have some kind of power when it comes to air pressure. And so she's not a easy character to deal with if she's your enemy. We can do the shade also, as I showed you earlier that cross battle. You see I also missed the lines a little bit, but there's no problem. You can always go back and erase something if you're not totally happy with it. So in this case, I can just catch up just a little slightly. You can put some more. Focus on the head also. I felt it's starting to disappear a little bit. So you just go back and do some stronger outlines. We'll see a little bit of touch on her lips. A little bit more strength. On the rise. There we go. The most powerful mutant superheroes Storm. Good work, and we'll see you in the next lesson. 14. Raging Storm: So let's go ahead and make it more raging version of Storm. We will start with the head circle. The guideline. I got them for years. Dance. Little bit guideline down here. Same as we did with the other wealth. But this time we will have it this way. Then she will have earrings that all like lightning bolts. Then we can make another one here to lightning bolts. Let's go ahead and define here butter. The same with the hand. Then she will have a mouth and it will be a bit open. Magenta to draw you that is turned upside down. Then we will have our lips top of that to put some shade. A little bit muscle, one side sort of stuff, cleared it up. We will do the eyes. Let's do like last time but two circles. But this time we will make it more like an 0 shape. Quite close to the edge. We will have the corner of the eye. I'm going to go up here. So does to a shape looking like this oval shape up to there, I will add a little bit of scarring down here, a little bit stronger line on top of it. Let's go ahead and do the same on the other eye. And as usual, don't worry about if everything is not hundred percent your metrical. It will look good when you have finalized the whole drawing. Of course, we'll have some hair. This time. We will make the hair a little bit wilder. We also use the guideline and make a little v here. On her forehead. She will have locked it. Go like this to quite straight lines would occur. They're up here, we will have a zigzag pattern. Let's think a little bit too narrow. Come in from this side. So let's go ahead and do this shape a little bit bigger. Just imagine that is almost like, almost like your lightning pattern. It looks much better. So that's a good start for her. Let's go ahead and make her flow out. This side. Can have this as a guideline error. Sound a little bit. A curb. I will finish the rest of the heroin withdrawal the body. So we'll leave this for a moment. We will have something similar like this on this side two, maybe a little bit more of an angle like this. Same here also, I believe this part until about drawing the body. And then you can measure the top of that piece of hair. To the same will be the this is the length of her body. Will be somewhere around here. We will split this into like with last time. About here. Wastes will be about the same length of a shape shown where her hips are. We will do a little bit of a mash up with a design that it will look like the other. Whoa. Let's go ahead and make shoulder pads. Almost a bit like armor. The same old other side. Gentle force us to make good measurements. Have been almost the same length. This one is going to be a little bit longer. Let's talk a little bit. Then she will hub two big plates there. We can arrange lines from the shoulder pads. And they will be X symbol here. I suppose it's excess in XML. Then we will have her one leg going down here. Big term. A curve up under her shoulder pad. Same here. Curve up under her shoulder pad. We will just draw her little foot terror lineup to her waistline. Little bit Smiths Center. Just a little bit too weak. Of course, we will have her other leg and I think this one we will do like this, that she has belt. So it's still sort of phi is showing her little foot underneath. We're going to define this line a little bit better. Little moreover curve. Going up like this. It looks better. Let's define the armor parts. The plate bits. There is a little detail here on her shoulder pads. On the other side too. Underneath her, she'll, we will do a bit of line two. It's almost the same as this one, but I did a little bit more but slightly like that. Then we will have her waist. Almost looked like shares a bikini also, let's remove that v-shape data for a waste of them there. Similar detail going up on one side of her body. Both of them. Of course, we will have the boots with the same details of the body. Let's go ahead and do the arms. And they will be both outwards like this. Same on this side. She is unfolding her house. She will have bracelets, all withdrawal little guidelines. So they have the arms on the boat the same place. Do bracelet, bracelets there to do a poll for her hands. Go ahead and draw the fingers, can start with the thumb. And the fingers will be very much spread out like this. Will make the fingers more flattened and not round. Hills to show you that there's different ways of drawing fingers. We can just do a little line there for the thumb. Going to move this finger is a little slightly more to the side. Let's do the other one. Starting with the thumb. This one we can have angled down like this. Little finger, a little bit of a thumb line. Redraw the fingers a little bit. I think the little finger was okay. But we will angle the other fingers. Little bit different. Just a little bit like this. Let's draw a little bit more strength to different parts so I know where they are. Finished to her. But I think we will continue with that zigzag pattern. Almost like lightning. It looks good. Heel strike to make sure that not all angles are the same we're aware of because it will look a bit uninteresting and a bit to start to go ahead and do this side to control this fall a little bit to the body. Let's make a look at that looks like this. This will work. I think for this one, we will add eyebrows also. Follow the line of the eyes. You can start with this guideline to anchor them a little bit more outwards. And with a little bow and same with this one. This one, you can actually let it disappear underneath the locket there. I will reappear for something like this. Yes, that looks good. And then we record, of course, add a lot of lightning. So let's start by doing a circle around the hands. Like this. Number will make zig-zag patterns coming out from that circle. And just play around with these lines. There's hills making zigzag petals coming out from this ball on fewer. Illustrate to make them a little bit wider. Coming out from the side, Sarah, almost following almost following the first line to make a little line going out to me if somebody to walk going onto her hair, continue that lightning bolt. Also. For kids up here. Like that. I'm not going to draw the lightning too close to the storm Hara. But if you have a paper that doesn't have an under drawing skills to continue to draw them like things to all edges of the paper. Start by doing delight thing, they're likely coming up from underneath here. It will be very playful with the lines. They will look good when you have finished all of them, because they will symbolize the row energy of that storm possesses. Make sure that they are coming out and they're going in all directions also that there's not too many straight lines. So they look like race. They should look like control the ball. Lightning bolts can do a forked piping here too. We will host a few small likely shots. It'll dump to do Superman, the older males, just add them a little bit here and there. I will not appear there to there. And then we can finish by one dog here. So I can still fix their story, go out and do more sharp line. Yes, I think that's enough. We shouldn't overdo it. So let's go ahead and define the lines with a black pencil. Let's do the ICE first. Hello. Fuel in her cycle, the eyes there to wobbly line. Remember that the eraser is your friend. I think I will redraw the level feels a little bit to be too close to the corner of the either. Just make a little bit smaller that her screaming both hearings. Let me assure that they are a possibility to the buyer is kind of earrings. There's something that is connected to superhero. You can find it online. Well, the percent sure. Her wild hair. It will be the finished drawing the body along the lightnings. We would go back, put more weight on the body. Because you will see that it will disappear into drawing with all these many details. All the time when you're drawing. Don't worry if something is thinking about something in the drawing that you think is not hundred percent, you can always go back and fix this. And as you'll see, I redraw this line a little bit so she knows she got a little bit of a shift. Just a little bit of an edge there because I think that was what the face needed. Eyebrows, her leg. I asked him, Well, I'm going almost all the way up to the shoulder pad. And her boots. This design is relatively modern. Seems to boot is not angled like this. I think this one is from the line. Well, this audience that earlier also parts of it. It's a little bit of a mash up with a few designs that you have had. This is why it's so great when you can draw yourself because then you will have the freedom to change whatever you feel that it's working for you. You have full freedom to create the look of a superhero. Subtract whatever you want. Full freedom. So drawing is a great skill. The other hand, the thumb line. Don't forget the little foot. There. Her body is finished and then we will do the lightning. We'll start up here. You can draw this quite slowly. Don't have to speed up. Let it take your time. And you don't have to follow the first-line identically, but just try to be a bit close to them, at least. You don't get too many double lines. Thing you can do is that if there's some areas that need a little bit more of details to add them. Everything will melt into the wholeness of the drawing. So when I was practicing and coming up with the sign for destroying the thought, I'm not sure. Maybe it has been mentioned because there are a lot of comic books and what will happen that when you have a mutant that is this powerful, if you actually would use it to create energy for the society? I mean, it will solve so many things. Hello, if it's within our power a lot, but I think it would be great to have a mutant alleles producing clean energy. That will be awesome. So we'll see also the strings thought that popped up when I was putting this together and I quite often make little notes next to the drawing. When my mind is sorted on fire. And I can recommend you to do the same because while you're drawing and you're into the flow of your brain, can come up with very interesting ideas, some scenarios. So don't be afraid to put a little note somewhere in your drawing. Or if you have a separate notebook. Because sometimes in the future, that idea can be very, very interesting for you to have. We're almost finished with my finger canals. You see, the more details I draw the paper, the more the body and all its detail or sort of blending in and disappearing with the lightning bolts. So after this, we will go back and just put a little bit more strength to sum of its parts. Sum of its parts. Can you say that? Like came to my school days. My school books looked almost a bit like this drawing. My teacher, we're not super happy about it, but I could follow all the lessons. Got quite good grades. But my mind was already inside some other world. I looked through them recently and I can say that some of the things that I drew back then was actually something that I've been working on later on in life. That was a bit of an aha moment. Because your brain will never actually forgot to anything. It just stores, stores, it's quite deep sometime, but it's still there. So let's go ahead and sharp build some strengthening the lines. So the body pumps out from the storm in the background layer. Lightning storm. Do the same. But Walter hair to come out a little bit from the background. A little bit more of a definition to it. Hello. I know there are some designs where she is she has shaped site overhead. We also have a somewhat more work to do. Let's, looks pretty cool too. You can use this design to draw that actually actually almost feels to remove the sides here. And just draw a hairdo that is focused on peers and also different kind of design. But you can use, maybe you like, like that. How do much better on this one? So what we'll see is that you have a toolbox of designs that you can mix and match. And the more you learn the bigger toolbox you get a little bit more focus on the eyes. And as you see, I'm not drawn on the mount along her this time because I asked wanted more of a clean figure and the lightning storm raging around her. There we go. One raging storm or oral row of Monro As her real name is. Good work and see you in the next lesson. 15. Angry Green Guy: So the last superhero we will do will be the hallway. We will do the design based on a simple square. From that square, we will have two legs sticking out. Slight curves to make this one a little bit wider than other guidelines. So you have the feed Starting in the same place. We will make quite simplified. Big feet. Do the same mirror also. Help them on the assembler. Same level. Don't worry, we'll have a waistline. Be quite low. Up here. Something like this. Though. Of course we should hover my guideline in the middle. So it's easier to place the face parts. I think we will have the eyeline quite low. So go ahead and do a guideline that is a little bit lower than from the middle. Draw. Two errors will make them a little bit like this. From this guy. We will have subtle eyebrows that are quite sick. Little bit angled down towards the middle. So I feel like that of course knows that he will have a sort of a pug nose. Will make two half circles for his eyes. Blaring with rage. Smell, going into a grid. And it will be molten the center. So really helps make it a little bit going out to one side. So it's almost like a half circle with a number list. Make a small Benson in the corners. Will have his teeth line going up a little bit like this. Then we can make just showing sort of one set of teeth. You don't have to draw every every tooth. Find the lights a little bit better. We're going to add a little bit to the side, Sarah. Little bit of a curve. Same on this side. Giving them a little bit of a volume there. And really continue this straight line here. Something like that. Let's go ahead and do the inner ear hair too. Don't forget it. Don't continue that line up towards the sides. A little bit of a bend. Then we will add some hair. Just imagine that this is almost the top of the head. The hair line is here so I can go ahead and draw the Harrison. A little bit wild. Something like that. Don't draw all of these. Herpes is the same. There should be a little bit of a variation. The only real hub. Let's imagine that is harris. Starting a bit from this place. I'm going to draw up a little bit bigger line there. A few smaller lies on the side. Not to mean to her goal in behind his forehead. To do the same here of a little bit bigger, some smaller pieces. I think this is a good start for his face. Angry how we've allowed his arms. And they should be quite thick. So go ahead and draw two half circles. Then of course we will have his somewhere around there. Almost angle to this one, but just a little bit further down. I'll do the same old on side. Two half circles. Will of course you can see the little guideline here. You get the house or the balls in the same place. That's going to make it a little bit bigger on this side. So they are almost the same size. Unless you, she'll take help from your friend. The eraser. We will start to add muscles, will make it very easy and simple versions of them. And we can start by drawing the pictorial muscles. Imagine that you do a little bit of a band here. Quite close to this one. Both sides. Follow this slide. This will be the waste anymore because I really just lower that one later on. So here you have the pictorial muscles. You'll store live up there and you don't have to draw this. So they are completely, just leave a little bit of space here. It will look better than we will lower his waistline. Little bit. Here. His sights go out up into the arms. Let's go ahead and strength for that line, I don't know. We will make belly muscles, abdominal muscles. So it's quite easy that you used to do two small lines like this. Two lines. It's cortisol delay. You make a curve out here. In this case also leaving us a little bit of space between the lines. There we have a very simplified version of his adult male abdominal musculature muscles. That's going to just do a little bit of a shake that they are about the same length. It looks good. When it comes to the whole or Dr. Bruce Banner that is realignment. After the experimental bone that gave band or a lot of gamma ray poisoning is most are inside and it's quite often that when he breaks out to that form that is close or broken or ripped apart. So let's go ahead and do some ripped trolls or serum with the hair. Go ahead and do a random pattern and made sure that not all of these lines, I'll just say, Mm, don't want to come true all these a little bit more curved metal want these lines to be too similar. So I will just lower this one a little bit. This one goes up there. Number two, lowered. Charles, the line here too. Something like that. Unless the same. This will also be pair of trousers. It is kind of funny since the whole moles there is very, very big that they will probably not be so much of the trousers left. Didn't want him to run them related. So they kept someone who is close doing a slight belt here for his heel. Number AS curve going almost all the way down. They're the same on this side. Toes just do almost like this line. Because slightly curved lines showing the toes up this vote, just a little bit shorter. The same on this side. This works. Let me just do a little bit of shading here. Placing him on the ground. We will start by doing the arms. And you can of course do this the way they are drawn at the moment, just as sausages, but I will show you a way to add muscles too. But we will start with the hands. So we'll start by doing the thumb like that. And then we will do straight lines like this. We will do a line going like that. Then another line like this. Very simplified way, hobo, clenched fist. Let's go ahead and do disabled other side air. Start by doing the two straight lines. One going up here. A little bump like they're Another been playing for the finger up there. Very simplified fist. That's going to connect these two lines little bit better. So instead of just doing two lines like that, we will add a shoulder muster up here. The deltoid. To do that, we will use the little extra bold. Going down like this. From here we will let us do another little bit of a curve there. We do the same on this side. And if you want to just see that these lines are almost the same level. So let's go ahead and add some volume there to your shoulder muscle. From here we will do the same that we, we'll do a little bit of a slight curve. And then we will do the biceps. We will just do a little bit of a line or a curve going in like this will lead us to a little bit of a bump there, not a lot, just a little bit. And then we will add a slight line here. Just a little bit. Don't do it all the way. It will symbolize that the biceps is here and the shoulder muscle raise up there. I'll do the same here. Shortly. A little bit of a bevel there. We'll do a little bit of a curve up here. There you go. There we have a very simple way of describing muscles. Can go ahead and erase a little bit. There we have a very good basis for the house. So let's go ahead and fill in the details by the black pencil. Let's start with the eyebrows. So how it was published the first time in 1962 by Stanley. Stanley little bit kind of funny that a lot of names in his comic books. The character's name, the same letter, starting with the first and last name. So Bruce Banner and Peter Parker, et cetera. I guess he liked this kind of rhyming. So big, bushy, strong eyebrows. Sums strength also for his eyes. Filming this one too. I'm not sure that you have seen the TV series, but problems seeing something from it. Back in the days when CGI was commonly used or not even invented. Defined a very big guy to play. Hello, I'm Lou forage on Lu for original. Played the whole game, the TV series. And then there will be a few feature films to being painted degree in. All the time was probably an experience. Why the **** cares the green color was due to printing actually. Why the Hulk is green is that in the first issue of the comic books, the Hulk is actually gray, but the print, print place at problem to have a consistent shade of gray. So they suggested that it would be better to have him green because it's much easier. The print shop to give them, give the same color over time. It's very interesting how those little things skill shape pop culture. Because I think Hulk is looking much, much, but during the green colored degrade will do this lines and as I said earlier, try not to draw them hundred percent collected. Leaving us a little bit through between them can make them even a little bit more current. This lateral muscles on the side there, the rib trousers. So we have gone through quite a few different superheroes. The whole is actually more of a bolster. Shame. So during the years, quite a lot. But what I liked about the TV series is that even though Bruce Banner, when he's going through emotional stress, wakes this monster, moles direction in numbers, straight salts kill anyone. So even though he's a few years, BST Keeps also some moral. Letting him stay on the side of the good guys. Think that was a very smart choice. Little happy line. They're going to add some strings underneath his feet. So strange there. And then we can go ahead and do a little bit taller shade. Just adding a little bit wobbly lines should be enough. Although during his arms to things that are most commonly said when it comes to this creation is that Bruce Banner says, Don't make me angry and unholy hoax mesh. First of warning and the effect of it. So as you'll see, the bicep will go on top of the line down here and the shoulder muscle will be on top of the arm on line going up there. Then you have this little line pointing the difference between the biceps and the deltoid, the shoulder muscle. Hello, I hope this will be an easier way for you to start drawing muscles. That you will see that it's not super-complicated. Minute breaks things down and just add the things slowly. Curve and bottom here. Pulled up little line here. Little bit too strong. To erase a little bit. We will strengthen the lines up here with the face so it doesn't disappear with the rest of their body. They can show that the focus goes to his face. But we will do some shading for his hair too. Since it's black. I think all iterations of the hole with dark hair. Unless usually don't worry about staying inside like this. You also practice. Practice rather. Have it a little bit stronger to shake cross shaded. So if you have heard some banging in the background, it's our neighbors upstairs. Julie likes to clean a lot. Maybe she's not as green as to halt, but I think she's quite powerful. So I have not seen all of the avenger movies yet. What I understood is that how it has changed quite a lot since its beginning. This about the anger. The more angry, yes. The bigger and stronger it gets. And also that's in the latest movies is a little bit more intelligent. It's possible to make some kind of concept called a session with him. There you go. A little bit darker hair. So we can fill in. The outline is just a little bit I think, to be made a little bit more strength to his eyes, his eyebrows, especially the lower part, a little bit more focus. Oh, to his mouth. Can keep the tooth. The tooth details as they all need to be about a stroke. Who may be a little bit more to his chest. Slightly. So feel free to go forth and back on your drawing. Especially when it's in your learning. You're learning life. Makes sure that your experimental play around as much as you're kind of feel that you have complete freedom of doing exactly what you want. Of course, the most important part when it comes to grading thing is to having fun. That will make sure that you continue to do what you feel is interesting and inspiring them out this little light. So don't forget about that one. Slight curve, making sure it goes underneath the biceps care of their good work. And see you in the next lesson. 16. Hulk Smash!: Let's do another pulse with homework, and this time we will turn him a little bit to this side. We will start by doing a square head. Maybe I'll still a little bit bigger than these dad who will do a circle. Very rough. And then we will have the legs down here. There'll be two bones. The proportion would be that the head and the body and the legs are about the same size. I'm just gonna do some very rough. You can even fit in this direction instead. So let's go ahead and do some guidelines. One for the middle of the head and I'm a little hot wall that is where his eyes would be approximately. From here. We will do bushy eyebrows this bit like last time, something like that. Then we will do little nose. We can just make a little line there. Two lines here. Giving him more of a Froude who have a pair of eyes. Then we're going to do them both. I mean, it should be greening a lot. So their mouth is a little bit smaller in length though compared to the eyebrows. That we can do. A line for his teeth. Then another button here. And it will have a shin. So not to do a complete corner like that. We'll do it a little bit softer. The same hair. Straight line first and we will have a line going up. Like this. An Altair, we will have his ear. It can make the ear road instead. More oldest time like that. Let's go ahead and find our eyebrows bit better. So up here will be the hairline. Let's do a little bit of sideburns. The slight curved line there, and then we can angle this line out just a little bit to decide that we will make some lines for his hair and as usual, make sure that they are not. All of them are the same. That a little bit buried. Looks much better this way. We will have coming out from this place a little bit like this. The one big line that was smaller, one next to it. We can even go ahead and make even better variation. This is longer and this one shorter. Like that. No strengthening the line for the mouth. Maybe I've seen from time to time that I have some markings on my hands. It's that I take care of all the stray cats. And from time to time she goes a little bit bananas. That's why I have a bad day. It, although it's nothing serious. She's a she's a little sweet talk, but she scares easily and when you're holding her, she quite often though, do a burnout. But as I said, this nothing serious. Let's go ahead and do a little line for the lip. And then we will of course have a guideline for the chest here. We will use flat on the line down here for his waistline. And then we'll go to the side muscle layer. A little bit of a different shade. Been there. They'll have one line for his pictorial muscles. Not quite in the middle here just a little bit. And as we did the muscles earlier don't draw the lines so they are touching each other. But make whole lights just leave a little bit more rule. This looks much better. We're really just this muscle going up. A little bit like this bell shape. Of course we should have his abs also full of the guideline and make two lines. Then we can make to bounce on each side. This side we will just make a short band. On the other side, we will make her longer bent waste there. For the arms. We really asked me very simple sausage forms to start with. To bump lines like this. You can do guideline out here. Do the same with the highlights here. Something like that. Ahead, Sheriff. We will make the shape for his house. Same choices already. Or if you want to, you can just draw the arms like this and show you how to draw the house first. And then you have the option later on to form the arms a little bit different to draw out some muscles. What was thought to be drawing too big to brick house. So we have a thumb. We have the other fingers here. The little finger. Hello, top here we will draw the locals. Small, small curves like that. An older phone you can of course draw. So that's the start of the hand. Like that. Then of course we will do the same on the other side. Starting with the thumb, them to all the other fingers. And when you do this, the only thing you should think about is that you don't show all of the lines that they are connected on the same level. So just imagine that you make sure that the thumb is in-between those two fingers, so to say. Something like this. We'll do the knuckles. Prokaryotes do a little bit of a buildup. So let's go ahead and add some muscles. It's quite easy to imagine that you divide up the arm in two parts. Something like this. A bit further out. So this is the shoulder know, almost connecting to this one, you will draw the bicep line going up into another bubble. Like this. From here you will draw the lower arm. A little, of course. Dislikes should be on top of the other lines. Connecting to this. Just draw little bit of a curve. Another belt here, up towards the arm, up towards the beliefs, do a little bit of a line here showing the bicep. So quite easy. I'm just going to draw this just a little bit more straight. It's slightly. You also with these few simple lines, all of a sudden you've got muscle definition. Let's go ahead and do it on the other side. We don't see the shoulder muscle because it's a bit hidden, but we will see the bicep coming out from the side here. That will be about lineup under the hat. About going up here, down below the belt, up towards to help them. And we'll do the same that we've allowed just a little bit. By supplying their easy-peasy. We will do the legs. First, we will do is repeat trousers. Let's go ahead and do some zigzag lines there. I think we can make him style even a little bit wider with his legs. So let's go ahead and curved about. Hill's slightly more like that. Go ahead and hold on the line. Following the altar wall. Almost the same term. We will draw the feet. Just a little bit of fixed size for his feet. I will just have this as a toll. I understood that the leg is going there and then we'll else because to have a little bit of a curve that are connecting them to each other. That we will use this line to draw the toes. Styling some males there. Somebody else making it a little bit of a slight wave there. A little bit of a nudge for his toes. Go ahead and do the other one. And this one should be almost on the same level. Quite lowest other Wanda. Let's go ahead and call this one a little bit more. Offers to this direction would be the same that we have. Like a flat their big toe hold other Tocqueville follow like that. A little bit messy there. So let's clear it up. We'll have He's should be somewhere over here. Will lead us to a little bit of a line like this showing where the kneecap is. A little well, his trial so should be somewhere along this line with everything else. Just try to make them slightly varied. Yes, it looks good. Of course we can add a little bit of a shade of brown layer since it is ready to smash. So let's go ahead and define the drawing by using a black pencil. Starting with eyebrows. Was watching Big Bang serious today and how cos mentioned. Furthermore, if you'd like to show or not, I love it a lot. And they were talking about the shell dome, gave ME or 25 minute long lecture about Hodge. The Hulk would be like if you want to be made of metal. Interesting idea. There's another episode that's when he talks, Sheldon is talking to learn that and he also learned what it was made off shore. Birds shall also delicious. It's great. But all of these maybe think of a task for you to do. Once you have practiced all this version of the heart that you will do vole version where he's made of some other material. Maybe it's made of Iran or maybe it's made out of cheese, cake. Just let your imagination run free. I think that can be a very good exercise to see what happens when you change the material of a character completely. It can be sort of a serious drawing or they can be very. Finally, one that's completely up to you to see my field that the nose line is a little bit too close to his mouth. Sibelius to redraw it slightly. Instead of having pointed nose, it will be a little bit more round. Go ahead and draw his pictorial muscles. Control the mucosa little bit longer up. Big arms. I don't know what kind of relationship you have to this green bolster. What I understood is that it's a possibility to draw him quite different depending on sort of how intelligent is. There is almost like a professor version of him when he's, is more closely similar to the Bruce Banner, the Dr. he's not completely wild. So you of course have the possibility to maybe add some glosses to him. Maybe he's holding books in his big arms. Let's go ahead and do the anchor line before him to the ground that in some way to him through it on the other side here. Mr. little bit poor little toes, the other arm. Why? Does go a little bit farther, almost touching that line. Has slope goals. Of course, we should do some shading for his her too. So this is the last of the heroes. Next up we will start to draw the bad guys they belong. We will try to merge each hero well, Willow course are quite often that they are counterparts. Sometimes they are quite similar. So we will try to do a classic math match up. Go ahead and define some of the lines a little bit stronger, especially Raleigh's face. Don't worry if you make some crooked lines. As I do. You can always erase them or just leave them. Be tried to do a more correct line next time. Lot striving for perfection. We're striving for learning and having fun. I do hope you are loading and having fun. They're straight line there. As you see almost panicking. I'm just letting it be there. He's not going to destroy the drawing anyway. Hi Bill. Select a stronger line here for the shape of his body to have the strength to his legs and feet. I think that's enough. Unless you see when it comes to muscles, the arm is going in front of the site muscle here. Lower arm is going in front of the upper arm. The same on this side. When you do like this with your hand, it's the same that you can draw. The hand just a little bit on top of the lower arm. Slightly more strings on his bushy eyebrows. The ideal still a little bit more weight also. Underneath his feet? Of course. Yes. Do a little bit duller shading. Just a little bit. Just add a little bit of a wobbly line. There. There you go. Hulk, smash. Good work, and see you in the next lesson where we will go through super willow. 17. Lex Luthor: So first out of the villains, I thought we would do Lex Luther, arch nemesis of Superman, will start to draw the body. Is doing a simple square. Something like this. Very rough run. Along top of that, we will do a half circle. That will be the head. A dome here we will have the links to simple balance like this. We will add a guideline and we will divide up the body. So he has a waist somewhere around here. And then we will a little dumbed down here where it's legs will be attached. We can add points to where his legs will be. Approximately. Number came back to another line down here where his feet will be. We can start to draw out his big in metallic boots. There will be a little bit bigger than the lines we drew earlier here. The legs and then they will be the boots on top of error. And then we'll have the foot doing a little bit and then we will do a more of a straight line down here. So abundant outside of a straight line when we inferred going to define the legs a little bit better. We can do the same on the other side. And add as many guidelines as you feel is necessary. If you have trouble finding a different body part. And as you'll see, we'll start adding lines just a little bit outside of the first lines we drew. Have his food around here. Soft belly, straight line. There. We go. Just to find the lower part of his Boar suit. The mechanized armor does he has from time to time. So let's go ahead and draw a line underneath the waist here. So this will be the opening between the upper body and lower body. And I'm going to draw two lines. Does a little bit more inside out tonight Sara. And, um, we will do big shoulder pads, angular mouth like this. No one will do the same on the other side. Something like this. Rebelled. About the same height. I'm just going to do a little bit short quick measurement here that are about the same slice. And it looks like that. Maybe it is short-lived part is a little bit too high. So we're going to heal slower. This shoulder pads are slightly something like that. Harris the start of various phase will be. We will do a curved line up a little bit over his head here. Another line here. Slightly curved, somewhere about there. But it's not going to go up over his head. These slides, sorry, I'm a little bit lower. Down. We will do curves going like this. Little bend, a little bit on this side. So you start with that line approximately where the square is building about like she's gonna get a little thinner line here. Same on the other side. So let's go ahead and draw the face. So we will have the most, approximately about here. And then we will have the eye line just above the nose, Something like that. Then we'll go to halt circles. On each side of the nose. We will draw his pupil. Remember to leave a little bit of a lighter number, can have slightly angled eyebrows. Something like this. Staring eyes. This is about the problem about talking and drawing at the same time. Sometimes to just slips away. Of course you should have a frown. So let's go ahead and draw the mouth here. Looking quite angry. He's not happy about that. Superman is still out and about. We will make some additional to his shoulder pads. The little rectangle and then the little oval shape on top there. And as usual, don't worry about crooked lines. It's everything will be okay and he has a symbol on his chest here. I think it's actually almost like a power center. So it's almost like a diamond shape with the top cut off. Some borders there. There's almost like a y-shaped inside there. And I lost him. The arms. Go ahead and draw two boats like this. Start of the sausages. Wonder if we should be holding something on this site. So let's go ahead and angle this a little bit differently from the other one like that. So I go back and draw gloves, big power gloves while arm, and then we'll just follow the same line as we did with this helps make the gloves a little bit bigger than the other arm. Helps make one cup like that and on the wrong shape, the gloves, the power glove. And then we'll draw the fingers for his mechanized gloves. Me make them quite square. So let's go ahead and draw the other fingers. He was making the meals to little bit shorter. Each time. Like that. Let's define the shoulder pad a little bit better. And then they will be just wanted look curved line there on his arm. Should go ahead and do the same for his legs too. Let us see the lights a little bit better. We'll draw the same glob on this side. Let's make it a little bit bigger than the arm. Here we will be holding something. Make sure that we see what we're doing here. So a little delta. I can do that. Live there too. Let's draw from a pair. Will draw the fingers. Can make that a little bit more flat to have the flat fingers for his glove. And then I thought we will draw a piece of kryptonite here. Since licks things that Superman is a big threat to humanity hasn't got hold of some crypto light. That is like a crystal. So we will just draw some straight lines here mimicking the crystal effect. Let's go ahead and draw some straight lines that are interconnected. Making a little bit of a puzzle. Kryptonite. This, of course, from Krypton where Superman He's from. And it's very deadly to people from the planets. So this is sort of supermodels, Achilles heel. This material. What else? You still have to count L. That is his real name, supermodels, real name. We will do some almost like radiant beams coming from the from the crystal. And I think we can do another line here. The lower part of the body. You can of course add a lot of details to it suit. But since we are doing a cartoony version of this, I thought it was better to be a little bit more simple and clear. And I think this is a good start. And then we can continue with the black pencil. Bring out the tastes of the wore suits. So Lex Luther appeared in the comics, comic books in 1940. In the beginning, it was more of a mad scientist. It got closer to the '80s, he started to be more of a businessman, a power bad CEO. But no matter what version, he of course, wanted Superman gone. Let's go ahead and draw his bald head. In the beginning, he wasn't actually bolt. He was actually yeah, the hair full of the big red hair in the beginning. But I'm the one that artists made an error due to the T, mr. Lex Luther with another mad scientist. So he drew him bold. And after that, they had to continue to draw him without an arrow. There's another coincidence where I think the character looks more interesting. Just leave us a little bit of light there in his eyes. And make sure that there's a lot of strength underneath here so the pupil is not absorbed into the browse. Their shoulder pads. Little bit round shape there. I've actually not seen any versions where Lex Luther have his big red hair. She would probably look on the Internet. You'll see what I can find. It probably looks very, very different. So there you have the power center. The mechanism that is driving his wore suits, his arms, fingers, the cryptoclidids. There's a lot of different versions of the script to light, but the classic one is green. I think that's one of the most common law. So let's go ahead. We'll start draw a little bit of light strengths. All these radio beams. Be light on your hand. The other glove, his fingers. Unless I've done with other designs, this is a little bit of a mashup. Of course, there are a lot of different versions of his mechanized armor. We could have actually drawn him in his business suit also, but it felt a little bit too boring than they probably look more like the kind of business model. This is actually why I thought that. Why did I did this armor to him to spice it up a little bit. Let's go ahead and make it collects a line to the ground where they came to the surface. This foods to make them also add a little bit of a shade there. Make sure that when you're shading that the biggest part of the shade but should be in this, this area. Straight down underneath his body. Can actually remove a little bit of the top pair. Just a little bit. Let's go ahead and strengthen some of the lines. So we get a little bit more of a variation. Because the drawing can look quite boring if all the lines have the same strength, the same value. So let's go ahead and add some strings where everything gets needed. So since the shoulder pads are sort of on top of the arm or they should have more value and we can lift them out by doing more coal trust. Of course, the framing of the head is important too. So the focus goes to his face. We can just add a little bit on top here too. And his his bold signals, the waistline. Since this part is more toxic than the other Weld waste tear, it should be a bit stronger, let's say with his lower part of his work. The worry if you feel that somebody likes are going to be destroyed. It's okay. It's the same here. Let me draw more strength on top of his boots. Comes out from his legs. We can do the same here. More strength to his gloves, giving the same effect. Lifting it up from the arm. And you also feel free to go forth and back. Into drawing and strengthening lines. We'll see what happens. Because it's important that you try different things. So you understand how a drawing is working. It's just one thing to sit on theorize, but there's a completely different thing to actually do it. And to see what's working and what might not be perfect for the drawing that you're working on. I think this drawing looks more dynamic now that we have Adam strength. Certain places can of course, just draw a little bit more strength to the inner portion of the symbol, power center. Yes. I think this looks very good. So there we have him. Lex Luther, arch nemesis of Superman. Good work and see you in the next lesson. 18. Cheetah: So next up is cheetah adversary of Wonder Woman. We will start by drawing a circle for hat. Let me do a guideline. The guideline for the middle of the head to foster rough. And we will start by doing the definitions of her face. So r will be almost rounds. Else do a little point here for her. Shim, slightly going up to a point there. And we'll do another line down here. And from here we will draw her pointed nose. And then we will do one oval shape here. And then just above this point, I'm doing the same old data side, half circle. And then we will make slightly less of it than there. So her ice will be quite almond-shaped. There will be some stronger lines around their eyes, especially in the corner air. From the edge here we will do one like this. On top of them there will be another one, slightly shorter than another one here. So one long shape in the middle and then two shorter ones on the side. Let's go ahead and do the same on the other side. Don't worry about things being a little bit crooked. You look good in them. So we start with the longer they're in the corner. Then with shorter one on top and another shorter on the methods. Since she's a hybrid between the human and a cat, we will make cat bites on her. We will draw two shapes looking like this. Then we can shade them just a little bit. You can leave us a little bit of a light in one corner, just a little bit. At least someone got a bit cluttered. So let's go ahead and use the eraser. There. You got the shape back together. Of course, you should have a snarling mouth that is a little bit crooked like that. And a little bit of a round shape in the edge of the corner of the mouth. Then we can hobbyist a little bit of the bottom lip, will make the teeth. We, we asked make the coordinate teeth. The facts. He has two alleles light line symbolizing the rest of the teeth in her mouth. Can go ahead and define this face shape a little bit better. Let me also go to curve them up. So this line is disappearing behind the eye lines here. Make this just a little bit, little bit bigger. Just a little bit. When it comes to her hair, she will have a hairline starting about. Here is doing a little bit above we then we will put out her ears and just follow the initial bowl-shaped there. So her ears will be sticking out here. Curved line and a slightly curved line there. That would do Yes. It's simple shape. Show where hair thickness over here is the same on the other side. And as you show us, go ahead and do as many guidelines that you feel you need. Bigger curve and this lighter curve showing the thickness, a well-cited or McKinney else do. Then going like that. About the same on the other side showing the flow of her hair. There have been a lot of different versions of this character. I think the first two ones were mainly women in, in costumes. Didn't have any certain superpowers. And then after DC Comics released the crisis series, I think it was in 1985 sheet I got more of a mystical appearance. Almost like a champion of a god, a bit like Wonder Woman. She got the ability to morph into human cheeto hybrids with great strength of guillotine that the chlorophyll tiffs. So this will be more of the work that has these kinds of powers. So let's go ahead and make sure that you have nice flowing hair that will be more similar to the third version of the Dr. Minerva, must continue the hair here on the side. Making some dramatic curved lines. Can do the same on this side too. I will leave the rest of the hair for later once we have drawn up the body and especially her clothes. What we can do with them, It's still in the face. We can do the sum cheetah pattern on her. So let's go ahead and make some spots in our face. They don't have to be 100% similar. But there should be a little bit on the same place. So sort of another triangle shape there. And then we can have another spot up here. Do the same here. Then we can make it smaller spot almost like your bowl. Then we can estimate long shape there. I'm done. She has almost like lightning shape here. Underneath are looking a bit like this. Do the same. The other side mimicking the pattern of a. Since this is more of a cartoonish version, we don't have to make all that many spots, just a few of them. Because some of the designs are quite cluttered with a lot of spots, some patterns. So we should do with the body. This a little bit similar to some of the other shapes we have done. We will start by doing one of her legs. The Mughal have our hips. Going up like this. I think we will do that, that she has pulled up her leg, something like this. Actually cooler leg, doing even a greater belt here. Let's do another curve. Up there. She will have some arms, no storing these sausages. And they can be quite similar on both sides. Quite a big house or pulse will have, don't forget to fit over. There will be almost more like pulse will make some tools for her. Then we will draw some nails. Sharp ones. Hello, My real made some details here on her leg. And that's usually gives a little bit of a mix and match from different designs. She will have sort of a li, a total like that to throw a double line up here too. And I'm sure we'll have waist band. Should be a little bit too curved. Know of course, underneath her belt like there should be also 1 ft or poor. Mrs. same here. I will make it quite square with sharp toys like that. Then when it comes to the arms, we will add some muscles to her shoulders. Because she's quite strongest character. Just two curves like that. And then we will continue with her. Arms. Can make the arms just a little bit bigger too. Do the same here. This line is going on top of the other one. A little bit more of a login for her arms. Draw the clause. So that would be the poll. Then we will draw quite big. Fingers with a nail. Will be other fingers are curved like this. Of course, we should have some nails there. Between the fingers. You can just make a slight curve like this. Side. A little bit too messy. Making sure that we can see what we're doing. Just a curved line up to the other finger. Done. We can just draw a little bit of a shape here for the for the thumb. Then go ahead and do the other side. Doing the foam finger there or the nail, I mean, no widow, those nails are bent fingers with the males. And you can experiment a little bit with how big negatives you want. Maybe prefer them to be really big, or maybe you want them to be very small. Racer, racist, sharp. Gonna do a little quick message, mental zealots. Like kept a proportional approximately, yeah. Almost the same size. And when it comes to spots, we will just add some spots on her shoulders and upper arms. Just a little bit. Just a few spots, not too much. Because I think it looks nicer and she has a more cleaner cleaner look. And we can of course, go ahead and draw a few spots on her. Wonder where pulse. It looks good. L Of course, you should have a big powerful tail. So let's imagine that it comes out from behind here. Let me make a quite dramatic term. During approximately the same thickness all the way. To make this car is too little bit more dynamic. Slightly end and it will be just slightly thicker. Just a little bit. I don't know the top pair. We can have it black. Now we can use to add a few spots, just a few of them. We can also make this line a little six Act. I think this looks better. I'm about to complete this. We can draw out her hair. So go ahead and make some dramatic airlines. See if you can connect them with lines Virgil there earlier, giving you a nice flow. I will make sure that they are coming in behind her, her hands. So they pop out a little bit more. So we can do some lines here. Going behind the hand. They're slightly more in this direction. I get some nice flow. Same here. We can use to add maybe a little bit slightly. We can hug her hair. Come up there too. Yes, I think this looks good. So let's go ahead and define the drawing with a black pencil. Can start with the ice. Was giving her a wide look. I think I think when she have their appearance in lighting for 23, the story that you had in the beginning was not quite the same as what has changed during the years. But whatever remained is that she has always seen Wonder Woman ESA arrival. There always been some yellows. She's being jealous. We'd wonder bone, no, nothing more in the modern version. She, um, she awesome archaeologists. She got very curious about the lasso of truth, that wonderful woman house. So she tried to claim that there was a confrontation and she lost. And she couldn't get over it because their egos bruised. There's a version where Lex Luther is recruiting she had done for going around and making a lot of mischievous things, even killing gods. So she has come a long way from us being vindictive person in the suit to being a god Slayer, to the teeth? I don't know where I live. I guess to lost the parents for this character will assume. Wonder Woman 94. I guess it is actually, as I said, I'm not seeing all of the superhero movies, quite a lot of them being dug. In that version. She's told him quite to a complete animal. There are other versions where there's just the parts of her turning cheetah. Me personally, I think this character looks the best when she's somewhere in-between. She's still have some human features, so dumb, she has to add more features. So let's go ahead and draw her lower line here for her leg. Her going up to her torso, bent leg. You can do here, instead of having gills to long flowing line, you can just make a little bit of a bubble there, so to say to show where her waistline and her hip, her belt on her details. Quite a lot of designs. Her feet are included into our costume, but I prefer to have her when the naked feet. We can actually see your pulse. Going to say that when you're doing the spots, don't draw them too too strong because they will steal too much thunder from her facial features, etc. Or muscular shoulders. Big Paul, Dudley, close. So this is a DC character. There is more of a numeric character. There is quite similar to this one called ticker. Why I'm mentioning this is because you have learned to draw this, this character in this pose. You can of course, do almost the same design, but just imagine that you are drawing Tiger patterns on there instead. Target patterns that is going like this. All the sites. And then you have a new character under your belt. So when you learn to draw superheroes, you can quite easily make some much everything. To get the new character. Oblongata Wally bit. We will do the tail. Nobody can do that. Just a little bit of a zigzag path to melt there. Shade this very elderly stroke. Just a little bit. Number spots. Finally her hair. A bit softer curve there. I think that the sheath tastes above 70 on IgM. Super hero shot. Maybe not the most popular character. But I think it would be nice to include her into this course. So we can draw a more filename, Claude. Character. It's going to strengthen some of the lines, giving them more focus so they don't get sucked up into the hair. This would happen actually in real life if you would have this nice flowing hair and you're a fighter, smoke, that's actually the most practical. We are talking about defensive character. So of course it works in that world. Would be quite, quite a boring if all characters looked like Lex Luther blowing asked a little bit to fit her. School. Make it a bit thinner. Go back to her phase with the eyes. Remember to make the line here very strong so it doesn't get sucked into her pupil. Of course, make this just a little bit more pointed. This a little bit more focused on our ears. Now, as we discussed earlier, lines, interconnecting like this, it's important to draw some of them with more contrast a little bit storage stronger. So you understand that the ears are on top of the hair. This hair lines on top of that of the Earth. So you get a little bit more of depth in your drawing. Can actually go ahead and just make a few airlines here. Some slight symbols for her flowing hair. Like this. I think we need more strain on her house and especially the fingers, making sure that we are giving them respect for their power. Jumping links to be. Sometimes it's like that. And that's what I understood, that it's not the only version. So she's place. Sort of evil. Depends on from which h is from. Cheers transformed quite a bit. Yes, I think we will think this will be enough, strengthened and my lines quite good. There we go. She does the adversary or Wonder Woman. Good work and see you in the next lesson. 19. Joker: Next up is another classical supervillain, the Joker. We will start by drawing a circle for the head guideline. Another go along the middle of the head. Like this. Quite rough. We'll make two ears up here. And I love the place, one up here because I want this character to be very symmetrical, showing the craziness that is going outside. Oem. Let's go ahead and define the whole line there. We can, of course do the inner ear shape. Then we will use this guideline to start his big, big smile. So let's go ahead and do a circle. It will be almost following this slide. It really helps bend inward is just a little bit that's there. Always smile. Though we can draw his upper lip. So low you have a bit of a cricket, crooked, crooked mouth, and there will be a crooked smile. Then we can go ahead and draw the two flying here. Do a tooth in the middle. It's doing slightly about curves like this. Another one here, another one here. And let's do the same. This will be curved in the other way, going in towards the middle. Something like that. We can also add some smudge your lines. Hello his mouth. We will keep them quiet smudgy. Because the design of this Joker will be closely similar to the one being Suicide Squad. With a mix of a few of the other versions. Then we will make his eyes will make one big high. Starting almost, well, the guy a guideline. It's the same here. We will do a lot of lines doing the same kind as much as we have on the lips. Remember, will make smaller. I make these lines just a little bit shorter so they don't collide with, I don't know, of course he will have small pupils. This I will make us completely black. Giving him more of a fanatical steric. Number can continue to follow the first circle going through the edge of the hair there. And up here we will have a V will be a bit longer on one side and shorter all the other. Continuing that are symmetrical. Look. Then we can draw two straight lines coming up from his ear. Hears. And then we will do a zigzag pattern for his hair, making sure that it's not all of these lines are the same. Maybe not first-line was but to overstate, get good use from your friend, racer. And then we will start with his body. We will base this on a rectangular shape like that. And then we will have two lines for his legs. It would be standing quite wide. The elbow here and it will be the legs. Can have another guideline for we are his feet are touching the ground. We can actually define the legs a little bit better. Nobody else to extend these lines just a little bit. His trousers, little bit wider in them, they're a little bit more of a old-fashion style. Remember straight line and the straight line down here. For his shoes. The shoe is not going all the way out, is more touching the first line we made there that we will use to make a little bit of a shield here. Just a slight heel. It will do the same on the other side. Control this line. Going out the lecture, they're allowed a little bit more to his legs. Like that. Lets, you should feel free to add guidelines. If you feel it's needed. Let's see what you're doing. So do the same with as she was here, two straight lines. The loudest leg, straight line in the back. Just a little bit more to the back of his trousers, shoes and I'm going to do with that heel. We can add a little bit of shadow too. Just a little bit. So there you have his legs. When it comes to his body, what we will do is that he has a costume suits. So we will start by doing a little v here. And let's draw straight lines out. These already a little bit wider than his legs were. Continued with the guideline here. We will make the V-shape here. And then we can add two small bottles on one side. And from here. I don't know whether this is called in English. The flaps of his suit. Else the bend and I'm straight line up here, straight line, straight up there. Straight line, there are no straight lines. In this case. Don't worry if it gets a little bit crooked. Absolutely bit more character to the design. So don't worry. Then of course there will be a little bit of a hack there. This time, we will not do the hack, but we will add big prank flower. Let's do a live role nine first. Circle, immune. Other circle inside. There. Can you just add the flowers? I think it's called leaves. When it comes to the flower pots. There you have it sprank flower pot of it as L sample inventions to, or trickery. So I should say, up to this slide, we can estimate it a little bit. Bent like this. Let's do a little bit. This one should be a little bit closer to. This slide. So there you have his body can go ahead and do his arms. Started by doing two bell shapes like this. And then we will have he's held approximately their other arm will be stretched out. Like this. Will help me solve there. Approximately there. Let's go ahead and draw for this file and make it a little bit bigger. The end of his jacket, just slightly. Up here we will add, we will be holding his signum card, The Joker code. So let's start by doing a rectangle. Then he stumbled becoming old the backside there. I'm on top here and it will be so their fingers one finger being pointed out like that. No, of course we should do a joke or hair, so it helps to draw a j both corners. And then we can have Yoast, a round face with simple eyes and a smile. Then they can have this kind of medieval joke or hats. Three points and that will be small circles and quite simple Joker card. We will have the same hair above his jacket. Well here we can have him having to hand stretched out like this. Making fingers there are quite square like that. Can erase this line a little bit too. Let me just add a little bit of a sudden line there. And we can also, since we are mixing, mixing, since we are mixing and matching a little bit from different designs, we just make a simple type under his jacket. So I'm going to have a good start the drawing and let's go ahead and define the lines with a with a black pencil. And this time I will start with the hand. Here. Let's go ahead and define the lines. Joker was first published in 1940. In the first issue of Batman. Batman and joker had been battling since the very start. In the beginning, he was more of a psychopath. There were comic book regulations in the 50s. He was changed to a more of a prankster, a goof ball, done in the '70s. The Joker starts to go back to historical roots. If you watched the TV series from the 60s. The Joker is more of this prankster goof ball kind. This is due to those regulations. Well, I think it's nice that there are different variations of him. Of course, when it comes to the movies, there are many great directors of a plate. The Joker, Jack Nicholson, Heath Ledger, Joachim phoenix. Of course, Mark Hamill doing the voice for the animated TV series. I don't know what favorite version of this character that you have. But I'm sure when you have practiced the design for destroying, you can add your favorite yogurt. Also changing small things here and there. Because I want you to see these lessons Celsius, the basis for what you can do later. But you can expand your creative world. Let's go ahead and make the shoes little bit shaded. Just a little bit. Of course. Stronger lines underneath his feet. His shoes can also do a little bit more of a shade here. The growled meals to make to shade the strongest underneath his body. Between his feet. Go ahead and erase just a little bit on the top there. We can make the shoes a little bit stronger. The legs. So let's continue with. His head. Is crazy, crooked had. So the Joker doesn't have any superpowers. Nothing built-in. But what would he have is, I think that's quite common to almost all versions of him that he has knowledge in chemical engineering. So we can make acid for his prank flowers, race or edges to his cards, etc. As I said in the beginning, when we do the lips, smudge them like this, very much, a lot of, um, even lights giving him more of a crazy Look. We go and do the teeth. This big crazy smile he has is actually from, the inspiration came from a very old movie from 1928. I think it was movie's called the man who loves character in there has this very abnormal big grin. The creators of the Joker got a lot of inspirations from there. We're just going to strengthen the line. Sara, pull the underside of the mouth. But I will keep I'm not going to do an outer edge for his lips. Heels just smudging, smudge your lines, will go and do the same barriers. Do a lot of lines. A bit wild and crazy. Do that. Black staring pupil. The same but a little lie also, but since it's a small detail, don't go too crazy. We'll just make some other lines sticking out like that. But we have the hair. I think old versions almost herb. Quite green hair. Maybe Tim Burton's Joker is a little bit darker, darker hair, which will strengthen some of the lines. Wrong his face, giving them more contrast and more focus. A little bit more of an offline strikes him that outlines a little drawing. Let's talk a little bit. I remember when I was very little, one of my uncles had the Batman comic book in the summer place. I actually got a little bit scared of the Joker. Not so scared anymore. What else to remember that these green leaves you're staring eyes was quite scary. Well, I can also add that when I was very little, I think I was maybe around two to three years old. I got scared of the dark too, so maybe I scared very easily. There you go, The Joker, nemesis of Batman. Good work and see you in the next lesson. 20. Green Goblin: So next up is the Green Goblin. We will start by drawing a circle for the head. And this composition will not be straight like that. So we will use tilted slightly, giving it a little bit more of a dramatic look. The guidelines will be like this. We will use to measure the head. Then draw a guideline down here. So this will be the basis for the Green Goblin hoverboards. The glider. So a ring, circle, straight line and the line for the board. And here we will draw hello square from that, but we'll draw the guideline. Like this. It's going to measure this. Makes sure that it's about the same length. And then we will do slide to curb misled care of on this side. So there you have the base for the the glider. Heard of it will be make sure that we have the guideline there. We're looking like this. So we have a curve, the curve out there, that we will have another curve to the middle up here. Making this quite pointy. And unlocking your straw to roam around ice here. Since the Green Goblin is very much based on Halloween theme. The glider is, of course, a bat. Will be asked to make some bat wings. The line down here can come your standard. I say modal destroyed. Unless you she'll don't worry if things are not looking hundred percent correct, they will be ALK when you have finalized everything. So there we have the glider. From here, we will have two legs sticking out a bit like this. So he's hunched on this glider. Will be some straps for his feet sticking out like that. And then he will have little curved and sold his boots. Almost like a little elf. Well done. We can draw the leg a little bit crooked. And then we will have the nice up here. Look quite round, a little jagged like that. Then we can make just a little zigzag pattern for his boots. Boots. Little bit ripped. So go the legs. And then we can just draw a little line for his bacteria. Just a little bit further down like that. Then we can draw a torque two lines up towards his head. Now we can go ahead and do the face. Withdraw, not a guideline for the middle ear. From that point we will draw a line that makes the scene a little bit pointed. Like this. And from here we will draw a big smile following the outer line, like this. And then we will have quite the vapor line up here. Making his smile a little bit crooked like this. So not hundred percent symmetrical. Loan for his teeth. We will of course, have some fangs here in the end. That's there in the middle. You can draw them up above the teeth line, but not so much in the corners there. In the middle here we can draw a pointed nose. Then we will go and wrap around a line around the corner of his mouth, slightly like that. And then we will have two eyes here, starting with the half circle. The bound here at the top is slightly less bent on the lower part. There we have his eyes, some of them we will have a bit like with the Joker that we will just have two black dots for his pupil tuples. We can go ahead and draw the job is yes, a little head dress. So let's go ahead and draw a lines that are connected to the middle. There will be flaps on the sides up there and going out there. And I will not draw the ends of the flaps quite yet. I will draw the arrows first. They will come out almost from the edge of the eye alone band. And as with the eyes, the lower part will be slightly bigger curve. And on the line for the thicker part of his ear. A band like that. Go ahead and do a little bit of a measurement. Ear will be ending somewhere around there. One coming up from the middle of the slide there. Maybe slightly bigger, bigger belt Bender. And as usual, don't worry about drawing something that doesn't look perfect. You can always redraw it. Make sure that you are using your friend racer. The same here. This line is a bit too close to the eye, so I will just remove a bit of it. And now we can draw the under the flaps. Was make some sharp curves there. And I believe this one because here we will have them arm finishing out the top part first. So just imagine that you have a base shape about like this. But we will make it a little bit more varied. And then we will have some zigzag lines here for his cat, showing that he's coming with full speed on this glider. Arm coming out from his body like that. And the other one will be built in this direction. The hands. This parts we can draw. Here's a little belt here. There is a little bells going up here. Strap. As with the boots here, we will just make some jagged lines for where his shirt those same on this side. Let's do some varied lines. They're done his arms and he has gloves. So to make the gloves just a little bit, little bit spent compared to the other line there. Then we will draw a thumb. Now we'll go back to using round fingers compared to earlier about behead, flattens, square ones, little fingers there. Then we'll do the glove and arm on the other side. I think he will be holding Jacqueline turn. We will do one finger going up here like this and then we will have finger that is more about, will be almost a complete finger on this side. This little Halloween bond that is holding. So almost like a circle. Can do a little top growing out like that. It's not called twig but I think you know what I mean. And I'm on this. Yeah, Clinton bombed. We will draw some eyes and a nose. Then we can make some lines going up like that. Now I can finish the flat pier to just make it flapping in the wind. So there have the basis for Green Goblin. And I think we will add just a little bit of smoke. Since this is a rocket powered device. This is a little bit how I can imagine when you draw smoke. That you draw first. Bowls that are interconnected like this. Round while some novel walls, etc, making them smaller and smaller. Now when they have the basis of it, you can just draw more lines, more curves. Based on this volume. Make sure that we tried to make them as varied as possible. You don't have to strictly follow the first circle, Sarah, the first guidelines. It's just a way to start to imagine where the smoke is going to trail of it. Lots of menu draw. Smoke like this. Should probably have this line on top instead. Is that makes sure that not all of the lines are going looking like this. It's better if they are going like that. And some are smaller and some are bigger. Because this looks too symmetrical and it looks weird when it comes to smoke. So I think this is a good start. So let's go ahead and use the black pencil. See what we can do with defining the lines there. So the Green Goblin is one of the arch nemesis of Spider-Man and he showed up in the comic books in 1964. Um, here's the creation of Stan Lee and Steve did coal is quite, it's quite common that people forget actually that was a big contribution to the comic book world, evolves, not just steadily. They had some arguments when it came to how the Green Goblin was going to be portrayed. But main thing when it comes to the Green Goblin is that. When it comes to the Green Goblin instead, the main theme is that it's another buret been doing with chemicals, some insanity. One of the most iconic versions of emissive golf course, the Norman Osborn. His son and grandson. And also mumbles. Or Osborne was just an awesome, awesome industrialists and scientist. Let me go. Exposed to chemicals and turned a bit wacky. But it also got some powers when it came to this exposure. Strength and agility, reflexes, et cetera. In the later versions, they've toned Donald Halloween theme quite a bit. We're to him, et cetera. Which looks quite good, but I prefer actually the this more Vince REM cycle version of him. There you go. There you have the hat. Then we can start to do the body. What I like most about the sort of the more than worsen this that's highlighted William default lot. It's a great Dr. I think his portrayal of the Green Goblin is great. Let's go ahead and do the, the glider here. In the beginning and Northern Regional, this was actually a broomstick, rocket powered broomstick. It looks quite okay for that time, I think, but I think it was a good choice to change it to a hover board or a glider. I think there were imagining that the Goblin was more of sort of a witch. Going more into that Halloween theme. He's nice. Lastly, we have the hand here. Shouldn't overdo this line too much. Windows rolled fingers. Know when you have two versions of how to draw fingers, you can choose whichever you feel is your favorite. If you prefer to have rounded tops are making them more. It's always nice to have that option. I said the lab done those little lines there. Let me go ahead and do the smoke trail here. You don't have to overdo it the string. So these lines, it's good that they don't overpower the rest of the drawing. Of course, you can draw these lines much further back ground or more in the circle. Just feel free to experiment with the smoke trail. I will of course go back strengthening the lines there. So you can just imagine that there is actually a person you will find on this costume that is also a comical, cartoonish character. So you just have a mouse. Moscow. Moscow. It has built-in guess filters. This is not a lantern, is a bomb filled with poisonous guess. Or maybe it's a nicer version of him and it's just filled with candy or comfort or something. So as you see, I'm just going forth and back to drawing, adding more strength. Mirror feel it's needed. The same with the eraser. Never feel shy too. Redo something sold about experimenting and practicing and having fun. Of course, we shouldn't forget about his eyes. Draw a quite a strong upper line for his high. Let me see that the concentration of the focus there, drawing goals into his face could also do some strength to smoke. Maybe a little bit of strength for his two flight. Can do the same for his ears. Same on the other side. We did earlier also drawing some strength here showing that the cap is on top of the ear drum. Yes. Do we are still little bit little bit of strength on top here. Not so much. Just a little bit. The rest is fading away in the background. There you go. One flying Green Goblin could work and see you in the next lesson. 21. Magneto: So next up is magneto, very powerful mutants. We will start by doing the hat b square to start with. Just a rough ballpark that we can have a guideline. The guideline for the middle of the head. The little top of the head will have a slight bend like this. Circle. Inside here will be his helmet. We will have opening. So let's go ahead and draw two lines up here. And then we will have this guideline to show where the middle of this, those two circles we're doing here. We'll come down to a point there on the guideline. Something like this. Outside here we will have another line. We will end it just on top here, not going all the way. We can draw the thereof the helmet too. Because I think most designs when it comes to magneto, has some kind of helmets. There'll be some variations of it, but the main listing almost the same. And on top here we will have little detail. I can draw it with a point touching that guideline for this square. And done here we will have almost like wings. You have slight curves going up. They can be the same height as startle the point here. From there we will draw another curve up to that guideline on from this point you can draw now the carob, like this. Going back to erase this line slightly towards the chest, a little bit further away from the center here? Just a little bit. Yes. And on the inside here we will have his eyes. Of course. You can start by drawing circles. There are forming the other lines. Sarah lost. The race, the sides of the bowls, circles. I'm drawing angry. I like this since he's a bill. And how to do things that we can use to make. Start with his mouth. Here we can have his shin showing slightly. Let's go ahead and define the lines a little bit better. During the outside of his helmet. Because slide got a little bit weird. So let's redo it just a little bit. Just a little bit straighter. Bent shape on top. There you have a good start. Then we will use the size of the helmets. Goes down here. This will be approximately the size of his body. Approximately. Can draw a rectangle for wearing his body should be something like that. Then we can split it into about half where he will have his waist waistline. And then we can do a slight bend like this. We will have his foot sticking out a little bit like that line going up there. And since these were made from the early ages, I think he was first published in 1963. He will have this wrestler underwear. So let's go ahead and draw something like that. To do a little bit of a waste bottle. They're slightly higher than the first-line withdrew. From here. I think he will have one leg just a little bit going down there where it will have this other feed. Something like that. Go ahead and define this line a little bit better. And then of course he will have a pair of boots on. Let's go ahead and draw a line for the boots there. Another one we will of course, go under his his lower body. When it comes to his arms and hands, we will do this kind of posts. Should have it maybe a little bit further away from his body. At one time there. It will be clenched fist. Let's go ahead and draw the thumb. Dummies, other fingers showing some locals there. Dairy as well that limit or control. These aren't coming up here. Same here. Let the arms go up underneath his helmet there. And then we can draw a body almost going all the way up there. So in this case, we will make the house a little bit different size. So the how the hair will be much, much bigger. It will be stretched out towards you. So we will start with a circle. And then we will list of thumb. Should be angled. It should be angled a little bit, little bit down like that. And then his other fingers going up here, we will cover the helmet a little bit so we will erase this line. So don't worry. We will have one bent finger. Pinky also belt. Summer actually can have them a little bit more in this direction, I think. And SUSE always go forth and back and see if something is not working, we'll still be droids. Never hesitate to do that. Then we will have his thumb and the bottom always poem. This, this is what good way to represent when you're doing. This part that it's the thumb. And then there is another way belonging for this part of the head. Just a little bit like that. We can make the fingers just a little bit more round. Slightly. We can erase that part. So it's stretching out his hand. Firing, firing up his mutant powers. So Newton power is to generate them control. Magnetic fields is quite similar to storm when it comes to power. So of course he is the nemesis of storm, but it's also a nemesis of excellent. In general. We can draw up the other body lying there. And in here we don't have to do anything actually. I prefer to leave area open so it doesn't get too cluttered. Nosey if your measure the hand. It's quite much different in size compared to the other other hand. You can always exaggerate this part as much as they want to, or you can try to draw it with the same size and then there'll be quite much, much less big. And last we will, of course, his cape. Draw another line here, not quite the same as this one, just a little bit more angled out that we will have the kid coming up out from underneath his hand like that. Another BO Hair. Going back up to the home again. Just make sure that you don't have too many lines that are connecting to the same place. So yes, leave a little bit of space there is the same here when the arm is coming into the body. Try not to connect them to either of these points because it just looks messy. So try to get it in, in-between there. And from here we will have a little bit wavy line. Maybe should have. I'm trying not to have the same line as this one, so on, I will just make it slightly more steep, something like that. Then we can do the same here that the cape is coming out from underneath his hands and his hand. We will do not quite the same. Linus, a lot of sides. So we get some variations. Erase this part a little bit, make it slightly, slightly smaller. Number can have another line coming up here and I'm disappearing, buying the job, escape. Under percent happy with this, these lines. So let's go ahead and I think I will make them disappear. More underneath here instead. Feels much better. Yes. I feel that this is a better look. So there we have the basis for magneto. Let's go ahead and define the lines with the black pencil. So as I said earlier, Meghan eat does being with that X-Men theme from all the beginning when it was published in the first X-Men magazine comic book in licensed 63 enables the creation of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Kirby being the, the artists. They're a little bit more volume to this line. Little bit more of a band selected like this. Looks better. This is me about talking and drawing at the same time. From the start. Magneto wanted to have other mutants have a better position in society. So he wanted to make humans a subclass counter to all other humans on earth. I think Stan Lee has said that it didn't see actually magneto is like a traditional bad guy. He was more fighting for his beliefs on. Something that he has common with Professor X is that he wanted mutants to help civil rights. So magneto is sort of a gray scale. Will. Sometimes he's like your traditional bad guy. Sometimes he tries to do something that is constructive and good. So sometimes he is so friendly basis with Professor X, the leader of eczema. So let's go ahead and find the hands. Like that. We can do the cape. I guess. Both superhero and will instead they are not all out in a certain direction is of course more interesting. Giving them some more depth. Body. As you see, I'm extending the thigh of embryos to slightly or alongside his costume. But thinking more modern versions Soviet me, yes, more of a body armor. Done this. Wrestlers suit, boots. We can go ahead and forgot about his arm there. We can go ahead and strengthen some of the lines, giving you a bit more of a dynamic field to the drawing. So go ahead and draw, strengthen some of the outlines to start with. A little bit. His hands. We'll focus mostly on the body and those not so much. His cape. Giving more weight to his body. Rebellious draw some strength to the hand first, but we will come back to that later. But first I want to give more strings to his helmet. Can you just do a little bit more black to his declaration there? Slightly. Quite a lot of strings underneath the helmet there. Some more to help the salt plane of helmets. Just a little bit. Because the most the most focus you'd go to this area to his ice. Now stop maybe a little bit. These lines, not too much. Maybe a little bit more to do with edges up here. Yes, I think this looks good. Now we'll go back to this house. Since this hand is coming much more forward towards you, we will even more strength to it so it pumps out more. So there'll be shy to go forth and back and your drawing and strengthening lines and see what happens. You'll see the hand that's more focus. And it's feels closer to you. Does more strength. Can maybe add just a little bit extra strings here. In the head shoulder, just a little bit. Lastly, we can do a little shade on his key pair. To let the body. You have some more attention. Can you just throw it a little bit of a cross shade to where that's making it slightly, slightly darker. Why we do the cross j is to get the shade a little bit more even as we talked about earlier. And don't worry about the mind. Let's go ahead and practice, experience. And getting into your creative world. There you go. One very powerful mutant, magneto, good work, and see you in the next lesson. 22. Rhino: So the last super, well and we will do is rhino. Another creation by Stan Lee. We will start by doing a circle, just a rough, rough circle. Go ahead and do a guideline. The body will be about the same size as the head. So somewhere around here, we will have his feet. We can make another guideline for the middle of his head also. From a, from this guideline we will do another circle going down about tone here. Something like that. From here, we will draw his legs. We will use to some banked curves. Going out like this. A little bit of a curve out here. We're instabilities. Or who've, maybe I should say. Since he looks more like a rhino, a human, then we have the other leg and it will be pulled up. So you can do this leg. Slight curve up like that. Then the curve though here, it will be raised some over the ground. Something like that. From this line, we will have his chest muscles is pictorials. They will look, go all the way up to his head. So about the same level as his shin. Let's go ahead and define the slice a little bit better so we see what we're doing. Smoke turn on the Muses who long belt laying down towards his other foot or other who found something like that. We can also draw the some nails here. Two half circles, ovals. Draw them on each each foot. We have. Following the guidelines as the middle of the pictorials. From underneath this one, the earliest haven't been going up toward us. This don't collect them. Just going slightly up towards that line. And then we will have another curve going in towards this waistline. And instead of doing a lot of abdominal muscles will be too messy. We will use to draw a slight bend like that. So that's a good start for the body. But I think it will continue to do the facial features. From around just over half of the middle here we will do slight burns that goes back towards the middle. And then the same on the other side. Karabakh, that we can also go ahead and define the line around his head. Almost going all the way up there. Because here we will have his ears. But before we do that, we will do a draw a big horn. And we will use these guidelines to start with a hole. It's coming out of his head. You draw a half circle like that. And from up here, you can draw two straight lines up towards the middle here. Don't worry about if something looks a bit crooked, it will look okay. When you're finished the whole drawing, it will be two curves on each side showing the lump is going around the horn. But we will have a nose looking like that. Should draw two eyes and then we will draw lines that are pointing down towards the edge of the nose there. Well now we need to slide. Control them even a little bit longer. We will have two half circles, ovals. They're showing you the size constraints of the lines a little bit. So laughter that we can do all his mouth. And it will almost follow the curves. So this will make the lines a little bit different. Here. My mouth will be much more straight in the edges there. You can draw them almost out to that. Show his home, his head. Something like that. I think this looks good. Big angry mouth. Then we can go ahead and continue with a line up here. Living a little bit of room on each side. From here we will draw sort of rhino ears. Looking something like that. We can have a little opening there for his era. Let's go ahead and do the same on this side. I don't want them to be 100% point that there should be a little bit round on top. We can have another some other lines showing his inner ear. Yes. It looks good. And we will do his arms. And before we do that, we'll draw some deltoids on each side. Shoulder muscles. Imagine that you're doing on each side. If you get We're the boat. Proportional seals do a little measuring. Then you see the where you are supposed to be. Slippery pencil today. There you have the shoulders. From out here we will just draw two curves and the other one is coming else below the ear there. Same on this side. To actually do the form's little bit more straight. This one can be a little bit further down, making the arms really thick. Because he is a powerful super Willem. Right now. And then we will of course have the two balls there. And they asked me the as the line before that just showing where his wrist is. Just a reminder for me. When I go ahead and draw the arm, then we will draw. Continue to do the rest. Hello or his fist as this is clenched fist. Little around line there and then a straight one here. You have this firm. Then we'll have another line covering that one. From here we will use to serve his finger. Instead of doing, you can of course do we ask the straight line for his fist, but it might look a little bit more interesting if you put out his knuckles to something like that. This line is going on top of a thumb. This slide from the army salts go on top of the side of his fist. Same, that shoulder is coming on top of his arm. And then we will have about halfway here. We will have has too little. Let's just showing his elbow. Just a little symbol like that. Let's go ahead and do the other clenched fist. This one is, as you see, this one is a little bit more angled out like that. But this one is will be more like this. So you see like the line for the third mirror. So there's a little bit of a line going in here just to fit the shape of his thumb. This is same here. We can do some locals. Other side of his hand. Do the lineup towards his head. And it's the same here, somewhere between these two lines, we will have his elbow shopping like that. And I think we can also add just a little bit of a line here for his lower lip. Let's deal some space here. Doesn't look too cluttered. Yes, I think that's good. Instead of just doing a shade like we usually do. I thought we will do. But he's stomping on the ground. Sibelius draw some lines showing that there's dust and stuff like that flying out. So let's go ahead and add some blue lines coming out from this, this area. As we did with the Green Goblin. When you do these lines, notes do them too similar and don't do the other side selecting the same. So tried to bury them as much as you can and just play around with this. You will find your way of doing this kind of dusk clouds. So let's go ahead and define the lines with a black pencil. So Reiner was first published in 1966. It was a street thug. His name, real name is Alex Say seats, which I think, sorry if I butchered the name. And some Soviet scientists did some experiments on him. Mutagenic, chemical radiation treatments. What happened on this? That he got very great superpowers. And also that they gave him this Reiner suits. Rhino has been a boom for both the whole Spiderman. Quite often when it comes to writing, especially in the beginning, he was doing almost the same kernel crime he did when he was a mafia guy, trying to make robberies, etc. Although that Ryan has a great strength and it's quite dangerous when he's charging with his horn. You can quite easily trick him. He's a bit slope reflexes, et cetera. To make even a little bit stronger line there and nice lip. Then we can go and do the big powerful legs. And that's usually there have been quite a lot of iterations of this character. This mostly coal is closer to the one that I liked from the comic books. Comic books of his rhino tos. So when it comes to his dealings with how he got to the same kind of radiation poisoning. The gamma ray has the hole. And he almost same, have the same kind of body. Powerful muscles as the whole. There is one super willow called the leader. He has been watching rhino and the hawks fights and of course, why not use this all the time. But what the leader did was that he continued to give gamma radiation to run until it was more powerful than the hawk and could beat him. Reiner has been featured so much in live-action movies, but he has been featured in the animated TV series. So the body don't forget about the elbow. Then we can do we follow these lines? Don't worry if it goes a little bit outside of the first lines. This is Celsius way for you to practice doing this kind of effect. Sort of a splash. Strings from the line under these foods. Of course. From here we will use to do a little bit of shade, not a lot, but just a little bit. Let's thank him slightly to the ground. Of course, we can strengthen some other lines, giving them more definition and contrast. Especially the lines that are covering other lines. So they don't know us together. And these are more or the suit that he is wearing is of course, gray. You can try to shade it. But just covariantly. Courses can be a bit overpowering. If it gets too dark, then the beliefs be a very messy drawing. I prefer to draw them like this. If you want to shade in, I can recommend that you do some color to it. That is faces, a different color. Then let's go here. I'm just gonna do his face a little bit normally, so to say. Just taking away a little bit from the wrongness of this little, Of course, there should be a lot of strength when it comes to his *****. Be shy to add a lot of black lines. There are a lot of strengths to his eyes too. This nose, of course his mouth. And I prefer to always do like this that if you have a line for a mosque or a suit or something like that, I like to keep them less prominent than the other lines on the face. It's the same with the inner ear. It's also as important as the outer shape of their heels focusing on the thing that you feel is the most important. As usual, your scope forth and back and see what happens when you're strengthening second lines over others. We should strengthen your lines around his house, also. Important. Don't worry if the lines are a little bit crooked. It doesn't matter. All about having fun them. Firing up your imagination can do just a little bit more strength. His other fruits here and also little bit on the leg line here. As you see. There's just muscle is top of the shoulder muster. Shoulder muscle is the top of the arm. The arm is on top of the hand. You can also use this pose for drawing the whole. And also you can use the whole drawings to draw the rhino. You can just switch back and forth. They're the only difference is that, well, because feed, so take the feed from the drawing another tier, then you can have a lot of different variations and play around with them and having fun. So there you go. Rhino, adversary to hawk and Spiderman. I want to thank you for taking this course. I hope you had a lot of fun and that it has ignited your creativity and imagination. And I do hope you will continue to draw superheroes and super wheels for a long time. What's your skills and creativity soar to new heights?
