How to design Stunning Line Illustration in Adobe Illustrator

I'm gonna show you how I simplify everything using just lines. And I started from the top part of the church. And I keep looking at the reference just to make sure that I'm doing something right and I'm not trying door tapping the exact sign of the church. What I'm tryingto do is to represent this structure or this design in a simple way, using the shapes. And there's something different right here. I use a spiral at all.
