1. Introduction to Graphic Design With ChatGPT: Design is a very solid
and important field, yet it takes a lot
of time to master. It takes a lot of
practice to get there. However, with
innovative intervention through artificial intelligence, I'm going to show
you how to skip the whole learning
curve and create professional grade
graphic designs for whatever application
that you have in mind using the power of
artificial intelligence, specifically chat GPT,
in order to create these mesmerizing shocking
graphics that most probably thought would take you months upon months
in order to create. And most probably normally
it would take you that long. Even longer. But in
this current class, we're going to actually
minimize the learning curve, create powerful graphics through a hands on practical project where you and I were
going to be working on this project
together from scratch, we're going to have a
hypothetical restaurant, and we're going to be
building its graphics, building the graphic designs,
branding, the messaging, combining all of these
powerful elements as part of brand messaging,
branding, marketing, a graphics design,
harnessing the power of artificial intelligence to take our concept from being an idea all the way to a fully developed
graphics design project which portrays proper branding for our theme and
for our concept. I'm going to walk you
through it step by step. By the end of the class, you will be surprised of the things that you're going to
be learning when it comes to graphics
design and branding, which will save you
time, save you effort, save you the whole hassle
of actually going through years upon years of
graphics design, training and practice. Through this current class, you're able to speed things up get to those professional results with fraction
of the time, fraction of the effort without compromising any single
ounce of quality. On the contrary,
you'll be showcasing professional grade level results that even you will be
surprised how good they are.
2. Your Project: Project for the class
revolves around applying the key principles
taught in the class in order to create your
own graphics design and branding initiative
for your own project, pick any theme,
pick any context, and apply the core
lessons taught. After which you're going to be sharing your lovely
graphics design, your brand messaging,
your marketing material with the rest of the
community for feedback.
3. Setting Up Chatgpt: First thing that we need
to do is actually to navigate to chat GPT
and set things up in order to have a smooth
sailing in terms of our graphics design journey
and branding initiatives and brand messaging and graphics generations
and the whole list of important things
that we're going to be covering in this class. You can just simply navigate to any browser that you have and
just simply type hat GPT, and you'll be prompt
to the following page. You just simply need to log in, make sure that you actually
create an account. We're going to be using the
free version completely. No need to upgrade for the pro unless you prefer to do so. But like I mentioned,
in order to get the best out of this
application or this tool, which is hat GPT in
this current case, we need just simply to
log in for the free. Take a look at the
interface over here, you can see the model that
we have for Chat GPT. If you click on this, you
have the option to upgrade. But from a basic log in point
of view and basic access, it will help us get some
astonishing results in terms of graphic
design and branding. And over here, you
click on this, you're able to see all
the chats that you have had with Chat
GPT previously. And this is simply
the prompt window. You notice over here, these are various key options
and interfaces that will help you get hat GPT to
focus on certain aspects. For example, search, it
will search the web. If you click on Plus, you
can upload the files, then you could input something
over here as a prompt in the prompt window in
order to work on this. Then reasoning will
activate a different model. Creating an image
will just simply visualize ideas and concepts instead of responding as a text and simply
click over here, the Canvas over here is
basically the option to collaborate on
writing and coding. Once you click on Canvas, the actual layup of the screen will change as if
it's a document, like a Word document if
you're familiar with. So I'm not going to just
simply spend a lot of time in terms of learning about
the interface about chat GPT. There are many stuff that
you could learn about to help you get a better outcome. But for the sake of
this current class, the important thing is actually
to know how to prime it, how to prime chat GPT to get the best results and to give us the best outcome
for our purpose. Now, since we're dealing with graphics design and branding, the first thing that
we're going to be doing is we need to prime hat GPT. What does that mean?
This is coming up next.
4. Priming Chatgpt: Back. Now, the first thing
that we need to do is actually to prime hat GPT. And once we say prime, it means directed in a specific orientation to get
the best results possible. And how do we do so through smart prompt
engineering practices? Like I mentioned, if you're
familiar with chat GPT, you realize that
it's basically text based or text driven tool
or application, right? But you have the
ability to create images and graphics and get some powerful outputs
that you could use in other AI tools to help you get results with fraction
of the time and with these. I'm going to teach so what I'm going to do is for
the demonstration purposes, I'm going to show you
how we're going to be creating the graphic designs and the branding visuals
and the branding kit for a certain
restaurant, for example. The first thing what I'm going
to do is I'm going to tell Chat GPT to act
in a certain way, to behave in a certain way
to get that specific result. I'm going to say act as a professional branding
specialist and graphics designer. C, I want you to create the full graphics designs and branding kit for
my new restaurant, for example, feel free to impo whatever you'd like
to have over here. Your restaurant, a product, a certain application,
whatever it is. The same structure of the prompt will work for my new restaurant, which is called
hops. Here we go. Now, I'm not going to get into too many details
with the prompt. Why? Because I'm going
to test if Chad GPT actually understood its role.
Let's take a look at this. So once I input the
prompt into HAGPT, it's going to analyze this, and once it gives
you quick questions, it means it has understood
its role properly. Let's take a look at
the results. Awesome. Let's dive into the full
branding and graphics design kit for restaurant hops. To tailor everything perfectly, let's start asking a
few key questions. Once hATGPT gives
you this output, it means it has understood
its own requirement, and this is where we get
the best results from it. Now here are quick
questions based on the current projects called
chops, cuisine style, ambience and vibes,
target audience, color preferences,
competitors or inspirations, logo style and preferences. And for logos, by the way, we could create it over here.
Yes, you heard me right. Actually, we could use CHAD GPT to create actual visual logos. But we got better tools, more powerful sophisticated
tools that we could use the output from CHA GPT to
help us in those tools, as we're going to be seeing in the other segments
of the application. That way, when you are
dealing with hat GPT. You can use it by itself
to help you get a logo, but there are other
professional tools that you could use to help you create more
professional logos. But for this current application,
for this current class, we are focusing on
getting the best output, putting in the
foundational blocks to drive everything forward. Then once I have the info, I'll create a complete
branding kit. Perfect, including primary
logo and variance, color palettes,
typography pairing, brand patterns and textures, menu design concepts, social media templates,
packaging concepts, uniform Sineage and mockups, brand guidelines and PDF, and you could add
brand voice as well. Notice from a basic
smart prompt, we were able to get the best
output possible in terms of driving the behavior of ChaPT to help us
with our designs. So what I'm going to
be doing right now, I'm going to be answering
these questions, okay? One at a time. You
can just simply put comment to answer them. I'm going to just
simply mention, for example, Mexican food. Then ambience or vibe. It gives you some
examples over here, modern, then target audience. How about families? Then we do have color
preferences, how bright colors. Then comma, competitive
inspirations, keep it blank. There's no need
to put everything logo style, modern logo. You feel free to input as much
details as you would like. The whole purpose is just
simply make sure that CHAD GPT is able to understand
what we needed to do, and now we are on
the right track. Click, Enter and take a
look at the end results. Now, this is where we dive into the back and forth
communication with CHAD GPT to get the best outputs in terms of graphics and brand messaging. So if you take a look at
the overview over here, the name chops a concept modern Mexican
restaurants serving bold, flavorful dishes
in inviting space. Family friendly,
casual, but polished. It's where tradition
meets modern fun. It's giving you the
brand messaging. Perfect. Brand and kit for
chops. This is very important. How about the logo design? Now notice it does
not actually give you the logo here because
I did not ask it yet. Nothing to worry about. We can actually get
logos from here. But like I mentioned, we got better options
that we could use. However, for this current class, we're going to focus on CHAD
GPT to deliver the results. The style is clean, modern with a slight not
to Mexican culture, geometric shapes, bold
sensor topography. It's incorporating graphic
design best practices, as well as branding
best practices, primary logo, alternates. This is the whole purpose
of CHAGPT actually, to give you the text response, and then you could use it to develop the visual output
as part of graphic design. Take a look at the color
palettes over here. Now, the color palettes actually gives you in
this current case, the color and the
code for the colors. If you're using this for other
tools, other applications, you could just simply
copy these codes and paste them and you're able to get exactly the color
from the brands. And not just that. Take a
look at the typography. The headlines, it gives you the family of the fonts
for the body text. I give you the family
of the fonts as well. So instead of you trying to
figure this out by yourself, you can just simply go onto the application or to the tool
that you're dealing with, and you can just simply
copy these and paste them. Graphic elements and patterns, it gives you the style. You can use this for the
packaging, for example. Menu design, a folder or
menu using strong sections, is giving you the word by word text based explanation.
Now, you might be wondering. Well, I need to get the
graphics and the visuals. Well, definitely we're on
the right track to do so. I just simply got
to be patient with the output because this will
set you up for success. So as I go through these, I'm able to see
the menu designs, the social media templates, the packaging
designs, uniform and sgages, brand
guideline document. This is basically
the full on layout for your graphics design roadmap and for your branding mechanism. It includes all the details that you need to build up upon. And this is where
it gets quite fun. We're now diving into the graphics design
generation part and the branding part. Let's take a look
at this. Would you like me to start
generating visuals? Here we go. Now we are actually getting Chat GPT to help us shoot visuals out of the
prompt engineering domain, the text based domain, mapping it to an actual
visual recommendation. Keeping in mind, we are completely using the
free version completely. So the output that you're
getting is very, very powerful. So now we have set up
Chat GPT properly. We are building up our graphics design and branding approach. Now, let's actually get
the output from Chat GPT.
5. Logo Design In Seconds: Welcome back. Now in
this current lesson, I'm going to ask CHAT GPT based on the input
that we have given it previously to create
three different logos. Create three different logos
for comparison. You go. Now, if you are going
for the paid version, basically, you're able to
get this quite quicker, more fine tuned, crisp results. But again, for a free version, this will get the job done. Notice that you have
this processing image. This happens when you are
using the free version. Why? Because simply many people are using the free version, which makes it quite
overloaded traffic wise. But we can just simply copy the prompt again
and type it back, and then you're able to
actually load it quicker, feel free to experiment
with this at various timings. And here we go. Now, let's take a
look at the output. We got three different
logos for comparison. This is the first
one, the second one, the third one, if
I click on this, this actually expands
the image and take a look at the output.
Very powerful. This is logo number
one, logo number two, and logo number three. And if you notice all of them, they include the
color palettes and the design theme that we have incorporated as part
of our branding. Now, if I click on
this, by the way, I have the ability to add
or replace a certain items. How about, for example, add a Mexican hat on
one of the logos, for example, I click on this. I have the ability now to edit the graphics through word
or text based prompts. Take a look at the
image over here. Now it has been modified
based on the current prompt, and now I'm waiting for
the result to be shown as well to see the comparison
between this back and forth. Communication with CHAD GPT. Now, if you do
notice, this is very, very powerful because I do have the ability to actually
alter graphics, design graphics, and affect branding through proper prompts. Now, it has changed the logos. It has altered them. If you notice there are key
differences between them, but it did not add a Mexican
6. Color Palettes In Clicks: And welcome back. So
the previous lesson, we have created a
sample three logos using the free version from Chat GPT in order to help us with the graphics
and branding initiative. But it's important to note as the more graphics you generate and the more visuals
that you create, you might run out of credits
with the free version. So that's why it's
often preferred to go for the upgrade in order
to avoid these issues, but you could wait
for a couple hours in order to get credits again, and you could
continue with their design with the free version. In order for you to have
a clear understanding, and for demonstration purposes, I opt in for the pro version
in order to pick up with our graphics design and
branding process with Chat GPT. So what we're going
to do is we're going to pick up where we
have left off in which we have the
clear layout for the process that we need
to do in order to help us with the graphics design and the branding initiative for the hypothetical restaurant
that we are using. So we have the clear
graphics design and branding layout
displayed by Chad GPT, as we have seen before,
and we have gotten to three previous logos in
the previous lectures. But I'm going to
take it further. Since I have opt in
for the pro version, let's create three new logos. Create three logos based on the best graphics
design practices. Notice what I've done over here. I've added the
word best graphics design practices in order to prompt Chat GPT to follow
a certain constraint. In the previous lesson,
we just simply said, create three logos, right? But if we're able to
fine tune our wording, we're able to get
better results. And notice, I got two
different responses, response number one and
response number two, and then you have the ability to pick the one which best
fits your requirement. Like I've mentioned,
we're building this one level at a time. So we started off with
the logos design. Like I've mentioned,
this is just simply a basic representation
through Chat GPT. And if you notice, once you
go in for the pro version, you're able to get
more crisp results and you don't have to
wait in case there are free users or
basically free credits which are being consumed, which might delay the process. You're able to get the
designs on the spot. Take a look at this. You got the first option and then
you got the second option. Both of them have
unique designs, then you get to pick whatever one that you're
comfortable with. And if you notice, since we went through design
best practices, even the shapes
now are different. It incorporated sort of graphics as part of
the design process. So I'm going to pick this one. Since it matches
our color palette, and I'm going to use it
basically for reference for the buildup of our graphics design
and for our branding. So now what we're going to be doing is we're going to
be taking it one level further by creating
the color palette. Now, I'm going to
ask had GPT now, create the color palette
for graphic design and branding initiatives
mentioned this is very important and display it in a clear visual format as well as the code for each color to use it in external tools.
What does this do? It's going to have
HGPT first of all, display the color visually
for STC as a reference. In case we're not familiar
with the code, that's one, and then it's going to
incorporate the code as well in case we're going
to be using it for other tools, for
other applications. Simply you can just simply
copy them and paste them, and you're able to
get the same color directly on the application. Now, let's take a look
at the result gotten by HAGPT. Take a look at this. Now we've got the color palette, including the actual visual
representation of the color, the naming of the color, and the actual code
for the color. That way, if you take this
to another application, you're able to just
simply map it and pick up directly where
you have left off. If you compare this
to the designs, it includes the colors that
we have used in the logos. They're part over here.
Now, keeping in mind, this is the color palette for your logos and for your
branding as a whole. So if you find something here, which is missing, for example, the color black, it doesn't mean it's not going to be
used or the color white. This is for your overall brand. This is very important
to distinguish. You get to choose
some of these colors, you don't have to
use all of them, but your entire
brand is actually dominated by these colors, and feel free to
think with this, by the way, if you'd like to
come up with any changes. So at this current
stage, we have used Chat GPT, primed it, and we've gotten to have sample logos for our graphics design and
branding initiatives. Then we came up with the color
palettes in order to help us use it as a reference in case for visual representation, if you're presenting
this as part of a project that
you're working on, or if you're going to another external application
and you need to use these colors without actually trying to figure
this out manually, you can just simply
copy this code. Since this is a visual,
I'm going to have hat GPT. List the color codes as a
table for ease of reference. So what does that do?
It's going to have it in a format that I'm able to just
simply save it for later. I could copy the codes to
other tools or applications. That way, I can just simply get the color spot on
from the first go. Here you go. Take a
look at the result. You got the colors. You got the description.
You got the color code, which is the hex code
in this current case. They can just simply
copy and paste. We're not done yet. As part of graphics design and
branding initiatives, you need to learn about key important stuff
like typography, graphic elements,
certain design features. And since we're having a very nice project that
we're working on, which is this
hypothetical restaurant, we're going to apply these
concepts to our project.
7. Professional Grade Typography: As part of graphic
design best practices and branding initiatives, we need to get our
typography and check. What do you mean by typography? The actual texts, the fonts. So in this current
case, I'm going to say, just simply proceed with typography best practices
for our graphics. And branding
material. Here we go. So now chat GPT, based on the current theme and the priming that we have
created in the first place. It's very important
to prime it properly. It's going to incorporate the best elements
for the headlines and the body of the text. That way you have a clear idea how to use it for
your social media, for your flyers,
for your posters, for your menus, and
the list goes on. Take a look at this. This is the use case for the font or
for the typography system. Font family suggestion,
style and notes. For example, for the logo, we have custom made family font, modified monsterat or Poppins. Then the details about the
notes or the notes about the details about the style of the font or the typography, modern bold sensor with geometric edges for clean and
structured outlook or look. This is part of your branding packages where you're going to have all of these as part of
the a team communication, you pass it on to your team for your marketing materials where they use these specific
fonts or texts. Headlines H one and H three. This is the font family, most bold or pop ins extra bold, then subheadings, pop ins
medium or Lo Semibold, body text, open sans
regular or Leo regular. And by the way, you
could just simply copy the font family
into any application, and you're able to just
simply directly go to it. Even on a Word document, for example, you can do so. Now, to make things better, we could just simply
have it as a table. The same way we have created the stable for the hex
codes for the colors. You can just simply have
a table for the fonts, including the naming of the fonts that you could
copy them and paste them. But we're not done yet. Take a look at the
best practices. Since we have incorporated best practices as part of
our prompt initiatives, it's going to tell
you exactly what to do as part of your
branding efforts. Font pairing. Use no more
than three fonts total. Stick to the above
pairing system for consistency across print, digital and packaging.
Very important. Hierarchy and sizing.
For the titles, subtitles or the
subheadings, body captions, it gives you exactly the points, the sizes that you need to use. White space and spacing. Don't cram, use
proper line height, 1.4 by 1.6, text contrast, avoid all cast for body
text, tone matching, use typography that feels
friendly, yet premium why? Because we have a
certain theme for our hypothetical restaurant
project or a branding voice. Now, obviously, you
could tweak this, but for the current application, it gets the job done. And by the way, you could just simply convert this to a PDF. I can just simply
tell it. Create a PDF with these details for download. So now Chat GPT will turn the topography requirements into a PDF that I could
use for reference. I could use it
when I'm designing something on a different
tool or application, or you're passing it on to
your graphics design team, marketing team, branding
team, whatever it is. All of this with a couple of clicks. But
we're not done yet. I'm going to show
you actually how to have a visual representation
for these topography items. Sometimes, like myself,
frankly speaking, I have no idea how
these look like, for example, Monsart bold
or Poppins Extra Bold. Now, I'm familiar
with Times Roman. These are basic
fonts that we use, but I have no idea how
they look like, right? And often most probably
you're in the same boat. You have no idea
how they look like. So how do we go about this? Very simple. I'm going
to show you how. I'm going to ask Chad
GPT right now to create a visual representation
for these fonts, along with the naming that you can use
them to cross check. Now, since it's creating
this PDF for download, once it's done, you can
just simply click and download the PDF for reference. Now depending on
the complexity of the PDF and the amount of information, this
could take a while. If you notice over here, it says basically still in
progress. Here we go. This is the topography guide. You can just simply click
to download and able to visualize it and use it for reference. But
I'm not done yet. I'm going to Asat GPT, create a visual that
shows every type of typography along with
its visual representation. Representation. That way,
I can refer to it easily. Notice what we have done so far. We've created the color
palettes, the logos, the topography as part of graphic design initiatives
and branding initiatives, everything within HAGPT so far. Now HAGPT is going
to actually create the topography visual
representation where we get to see the font, how it looks like, and its name. Let me show you how. As
we're getting these results, let's take a look at the output. Here you go. Take a look at
this very powerful result. Chops typography, which is the hypothetical restaurant that we have talked about
basically in our design. Notice it's actually
writing with the text using the
typography style of font, Logo, typeface over here, custom Montisart headlines,
Montsar bold, subheadings. It's giving us a basic layout basically how these
fonts look like. Here we go a click on this, the font and how it looks like. Here you go Poppins medium, open Sens regular,
open sense Italic. So I have the ability
now to find its name at the same time to identify how
it looks at the same time, located within my application, which is very powerful for
marketing initiatives, creating posters,
and guess what? We're going to be
learning how to create menus as well, literally, full on menu using some of the tactics that I'm
going to be teaching you. Not done yet. So now we have
created our color palette. We've created our
topography charts and visual representations
for our project. It could be any project of
yours and some sample logos, three logos for reference. Now we're going to add some
graphic design elements and patterns to help us complement our graphic design
and branding efforts.
8. Graphics Design For Branding & Packaging: Back. So we have seen how to come up with the typography for our graphic designs and for our branding initiatives
as part of messaging, graphics design,
branding, marketing, whatever angle that
you would like to express the design process, this will literally
help you out. But we're not done
yet, obviously, we're going to take it
to a different level to help you have a
complete picture, a complete graphics
design approach, a complete graphics
design experience, as well as a
branding experience, which will help you have
this complimentary approach to your design process. Now, we're going
to transition to after creating the typography, for our hypothetical restaurant, let's get some graphical
elements as part of our graphic design
approach, graphic elements, certain patterns that
we could use as part of graphics design applications in general for this current case, or if you'd like to map them to the branding and
for the messaging. Now, let's get this
thing up and going. Now we are ready to create
the graphical or let's say graphics elements and patterns based on the theme
mentioned previously. So this will guide Cha GPT to use the previous topography, the previous colors,
the color palettes in order to come up
with certain graphics. But as we communicate back
and forth with CHAD GPT, we are going to get
the juice out of it. We're going to get the
best results out of it. Now, it's giving me both
responses, response number one. Response number two, and then we get to pick
which ones we like. If we take a look at
the first response, it's including some
basic vibrant icons, basic graphics and elements
like chili peppers, tacos, geometric Aztec side
line work, brand colors. Now, this could be used in the menu borders,
packaging textures, social media backgrounds, wall art or Sineage patterns.
This is very powerful. It's helping you
get these graphics, these icons that you could use within your social
media marketing, within your posters,
your flyers, even the restaurant batters. Let's take a look at the other
result, the other result. Now, now I'll create
graphic elements and patterns for chops, the name of the restaurant based on your brand's direction. Design direction
recap, the style, the vibe, the theme,
the elements, and patterns, abstract
pattern number one, two, background texture,
repeating icons, frame elements. Now, if you notice,
this response, the one on the left side, just simply got me
some basic elements. However, the one on the
right side is actually getting ready to create
more detailed elements. So I'm going to go with
the second option. I prefer this response, and now I'm going
just simply say the word proceed or go ahead. Proceed with the
designs. Here we go. So now since I've confirmed the textual commands
to chat GPT, it's going now to transform this to visual representations. And now it's actually giving me two different options,
two different responses, response number one
and response number two in order to compare the
visuals that we're getting. And the more you iterate this, the more you continue
with the conversation, the better the response from Chat GPT will be
because it will get better what you're trying
to achieve. And here we go. Impressive, right? Take
a look at the results on the left hand side and the right hand side. Let's
take a look at this. It's showing me actually the chili peppers,
based on the theme, some design work, some graphics which
compliment the design, including the color palettes, some shapes, some tacos, a cactus, a Mexican hat, a pepper and salt and
dispenser along with some geometrical shapes in order to compliment the design, the graphics design for
the entire theme of this project based restaurant. Now, you could use
this as part of the branding, the messaging, the social media
marketing efforts, posts, Instagram, and you can use this as part of
the menu, for example. The applications are endless, so you have your
own unique theme and you only k branding. Let's explore the other options. Now, here it includes
more visuals, more colors, but it's
sticking to the color scheme. Think about the
food, for example, that you're wrapping the food, the food wrapper, the packaging. You could use these for
reference as part of a graphics design for
packaging and for branding. Now, both of them the
work really well, but I'm going to
pick one of them, and I'm going to use
this because it has some basic shapes that I
could just simply fine tune. Feel free to experiment
with both of them. That's perfectly
okay. So I'm going to click on I preferred
This response. Now, we're going to take
it one level further. So what I'm going to do now, I'm going to ask chaGPT based
on the previous graphics. Create the menu
borders. Here we go. Since we're going to
be using this for a restaurant as part of
graphics design for men, for social media
content, for posts, for banners, for fliers,
everything works cohesively. So you get to apply
these tactics, these lessons to various ends of the graphics design spectrum, the branding spectrum, even
the marketing spectrum. Now, we have used the previous graphic
designs to help us now build on the menu borders
that we're going to be using, again, as part of the
graphic design initiative, but mapped to the menu design for this hypothetical
restaurant. Take a look at this powerful,
powerful end result. So when you go to a
restaurant, obviously, it's on a menu, and this is the
border of the menu, and you're going to
have your food recipes or the content of your foods, the dishes, the beverages, everything's going to
be within this frame. And guess what? This is
purely graphics design and branding application where you actually saving yourself time, saving yourself the effort
of doing this by yourself, and you're able to get
this up and running. And guess what?
We're not done yet. I'm going to show
you actually how to create the full on menu, literally, full on menu
using these tactics. But before we get to
that, let me show you another impressive
application that we could use as part of graphics
design within Chat GPT. I want you to create based
on the previous results, a realistic Visual
for the packaging, if possible, in
three dimensions. Notice this prompt is
actually constructed in a way to drive the
behavior of CHAT GPT. First of all, I've asked
it for a realistic visual. It's going to
actually try to get it as three D as possible. But I've mentioned
to keep it three D, if possible, if possible. But when you mention the word if possible within the
prompt to chat GPT, you're giving it
some creative room in order to actually
give you an alternative. Let's take a look at this. So now, since we have clear idea about the color palettes, the graphics, the
borders for the menus, the entire theme
of the restaurant, as part of graphics
design and branding, now let's take a look at
the packaging for foods, for takeouts, all of
these are part of, again, graphics
design and branding. So we need to have
a cohesive look. Let's take a look at the
end result that we're getting from chat GPT, based on this tactical approach to prompt engineering
and graphics design. And here we go. Take a look at this very incredible
and outstanding result. This includes the
full on packaging in three D to the project
that we're working on, which is this
hypothetical restaurant. Take a look at the results. We got the takeout bag. We got the name of
the restaurant. We got the graphics
that we have selected, takeout cups, some
graphics design. Take a look at the
takeout box for fries. Take a look at the
wrapper for tacos, including the actual graphic
design elements that we have created with the brand
logo and stamp on this. This is a full on
graphic design approach for the packaging materials, as well as a branding
approach for the materials in three dimensions without even going ahead and
doing this manually, simply a bit of creativity
and innovation, which I'm teaching you
within this current class. That way you have a clear
ability to actually make up designs for whatever application that you're interested in. And if you'd like to
change something, you can just simply type at
the prompt window over here. What would you like to change? And then it will be reflected
on various iterations. So feel free to
tinker with this. So we're able to actually
get to have a clear idea about the graphics design
for the packaging materials, graphic design
elements incorporated on the packaging materials, different styles,
as we could see, a full on cohesive
graphic design, a full on branding look, a full on marketing material, full on color palettes, everything incorporated
strategically and in a very powerful
and innovative way. And guess what?
We're not done yet. We're going to actually
create now our menu, literally a full menu
in the upcoming lesson.
9. Next level Graphic Design and Branding: I truly hope that
you're quite excited about this because this is very, very unique and
very, very powerful. And in terms of applications,
sky is the limit. So we have created
the color palettes, topography, logos,
graphics designs, branding outlook, including
the brand messaging, including the theme of the restaurant that
we're working on. Now we're going to take a
look at the menu, obviously. Whenever you have a restaurant,
you need to get a menu. Now, take a look at
this powerful prompt, and you're going to be
using it in a way to actually get the best
outlook possible. Now, based on the
previous results, we are ready to create the
menu for the restaurant. There we go. I want you to create variations for three
options to compare. Make sure that the menu
includes images of the dishes offered
based on our theme, and make sure that the menu is three D if possible,
if possible. And and suggest any additions which would make it better. Now, take a look at this. Now, based on this
current prompt, I've actually prompted to use the previous results that we have gotten to build up upon. Now, I'm going to have three
variations for the menus. Preferably in three D, they should include images
based on our theme, and suggest any additions
which would make it better. This will give hatGPT guidance
to what it needs to do, along with the flexibility to utilize some creative elements. Let's take a look at this. So now once we
release this prompt, we're going to actually
get some feedback. Now, just simply refresh
in case you run into an error because
sometimes if you're having a lot of commands
back and forth, this might happen, but there's nothing to
be concerned about. Just simply refresh,
and we're good to go. Now, we're taking a look at the end result based
on our prompt. Feel free to
experiment with this. Tinker with this and let me
know how it goes with you. Feel free to share your designs. Feel free to share
your end results, to have a clear idea
about your progress. How are you going through this, which is very, very powerful
and very, very important. That's part of your learning
and development journey. Now, that being
said, let's examine the end result for the
menus that we have. And from this basic prompt, I'm expecting Chat
GPT to do a good job by providing me what I'm
looking for specifically. But sometimes things go wrong, and you're required to iterate
again. And here you go. Take a look at this
powerful result. This is a three D
live menu, uri. Threefold. You got the name of the restaurant,
all of the graphics, even some visuals for the
dishes based on the theme, clear menu broken down to
different main dishes, including the theme that we
have tacos, burritos, sides. Then we do have the images to represent every
single one of them. Even pricing has been
placed on the menu. See how powerful this is. You have a clear menu
created in clicks, which often takes months
for this to happen. So what we're doing
to pick up with is that we're going to
create a different variation for the
menu right now. So this is the first option. Now create another
option to compare. So if you have noticed so far, we've created the graphics, we've created the logos. We have created the
fonts, the typography, the theme, the graphic
design elements, the branding elements. So this is very, very, very
powerful saving us time, and by the way, those
kind of projects, they take months of work, three to six months at least, having teams working on this, and you're able to do it
with a couple of clicks, following the lessons that
I'm teaching you right now. Now, let's take a look
at the end result. We have one menu created. We've got our packaging done. Now let's take a look at a different variation of the menu, and then we're going to pick
the one that we prefer. That way, we have
a clear idea about the full on picture
of the restaurant. And then we're going
to transition to the marketing material,
the templates, and we do have a lot of stuff that we're going
to be covering as part of this full on project
based development journey for graphic designing
and branding approaches. And here we go. Take a look at these
powerful end results. We got one on the right side, we got one on the left side. The first one that we had
was a three fold menu. We got three different pages. This is a two fold menu. If I click on this, we
got two pages 1 and 2. And then I do have
another option, which is a single page menu, including all of the
relevant details. This is very, very powerful
compared this 13 pages, two pages and a single page. Including all of the
visuals, the graphics, the color palettes, as
you can see, the logo, the sample dishes, even the description and
the names of the dishes, along with sample pricing to guide your decision
making process. And this is very, very
impressive, right? I'm going to let's say
I'm going to just pick any of these for
demonstration purposes, feel free to pick
a different one, but I'm going to go
with this response just simply to keep
things simple. Well, we're not done
yet. We're going to take a one level further in the upcoming lesson
in which we are going to jump right into creating the social
media material and templates for our
graphic design project and for our branding initiative, in which we are applying all of these as part of a project based learning experience
where we are actually creating the full on
graphics design application and the branding application for a hypothetical restaurant through artificial intelligence.
10. Graphic Design For Social Media Templates: Welcome back. Now we
are going to combine the graphic design best
practices in order to map it to creating the
social media posts, the social media
template, sort of speak. I'm going to ask CHAT GPT. Are you ready to proceed, just to make sure
it's actually keeping track of all of the
information shared above? Here we go. Pick any of
these responses if it shows. But now, if you notice, hATGPT is actually
still moving on with the graphics design
with the branding, asking me about the
social media templates, the variations for the menus, uniform, Sineages, we're
going to get to all of these. But at this current
stage, like I mentioned, we are going to have CHAD
GPT go ahead and incorporate our graphic design
best practices as part of the brand messaging and as part of the social
media template. Look what I'm going to
do. So the first thing what I'm going to
do is I'm going to ask CHAT GPT to show me the
visuals for these templates. This is where you have to
be careful. Do not ask it. We're just simply creating
social media posts. You're going to
get random results which are not that solid, and you could do it better.
Let me show you how. At this stage, we are ready to proceed with creating the
social media templates, I would like you to
create a visual showing the various posts across various platforms
such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook Tik Tok. Notice the structure
of the prompt. I'm giving it the
visuals as well as the key platforms I would
like to incorporate. Feel free to add whatever
you'd like to have over here. But the most important thing is, I want the result to be
a visual which shows me the posts in correspondence
with the platform. Now, ChatGPT at this
current stage is giving me two different responses based
on how analyzed the prompt. And both of them, as I suspect, they're going to
be really powerful but with different angles. Let's take a look at the
one on the left side, and let's look at the one on the right side for comparison, and then we're going to be
selecting the best option. Now, feel free, as
you go about this by yourself and you are
creating this by yourself, feel free to actually select
your own unique output. That way you have your
own creativity in place. You're doing things based on your own preference and in
line with your own projects. Take a look at this very,
very powerful result. We're going to have one
on the right hand side and the one on the
left hand side. Now, as we can see as the
images are being generated, it's doing a really good job
in showcasing the platform, as well as the actual
post within the platform. If we start with the
right hand side, you'll notice that we
have an Instagram, a post over here. Here we go. Let's click on this. We got a phone, as
well as the Instagram, a page, and the post within the phone to show
us how it looks like. That's very powerful. This
is for a YouTube template. This is for a Facebook, a post. This is for another
Facebook post. This is for a Tik Tok post. Keeping in mind, it
actually takes into account the dimensions that are that are best fit for
that specific platform. On the left hand side, we have a different option as well. The same thing for
then Instagram post. It's showing me something
for Tik Tok over here, as well as various posts,
templates and structures, but it's not showing me which one fits within
which platform. So I'm going to go for this
one because it shows me how chat GPT is behaving
under the hood. It's actually showing me how
it's analyzing the prompt, and this seems like
a right track. So how am I going to
build from this onwards? I'm going to say I
prefer this response, and we're not done
yet, obviously. You can use these results
to build up upon, but to get professional outputs, you need to follow the steps I'm going to be teaching
you right now. At this stage, we are ready
to deal with every platform. By itself. Now, keeping in mind, once you go about
creating the prom, make sure to incorporate as
much details as possible, such that I want you to create the visuals for each platform
that I give you its name, including the captions hash tags and following the best
practices for each platform. Notice what I'm doing over here. I'm actually now deviating chat GPT to behave
in a certain way, where it's going to combine the graphic designs
that we have created, the brand messaging as part
of our hypothetical project, which is the restaurant
in order to create these unique social media posts and templates, but
not generically. Every single result is going to be based on the
platform by itself. Let me show you now, perfect. I'm ready to create platform specific visuals,
along with captions, hash tags, and format guidelines tailored to each
platforms best practices. Just let me know
the first platform you'd like to start
with, Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, YouTube, Pinterest, and I'll generate
everything accordingly. Which platform shall
we begin with? This is very powerful.
It shows me that Chat GPT has understood
where am I going with this? I'm going to ask it
from this point onward, just simply give it the
name of the platform. It will create the visuals, the captions, the hash tags. In addition to following the key guidelines in
terms of posting and the best practices
in order to make sure every single post
is a powerful one. Now we're going to
proceed with tackling every single one of these
outputs one at a time.
11. Graphic Design For Social Media Part 1: Now we're going to kick things off based on the same
sequence that we have over here and to see how everything gets
actually generated. I'm just simply going to give the name of the platform,
and at this point, because I have structured
the prompt properly, it will follow my lead only. Here you go. Just simply
type in Instagram. Take a look at the output. It will show me now the
visual, that's one, the captions, the hash tags, and the best practices. You will be surprised by how
powerful the end result is. Now, it's giving me actually the key the posting structure, for example, the style, the theme, the text
image, what's included, what you could
include when you're typing this as the caption, the caption best format. You could choose any of those as well as the hashtags
that you could use. Best practices followed
the square ratio. Now, click to action, which is the first
two lines, order now, flavor preview, branded background with
food at the center, images for engagement,
hash tags. So it's following the
structure of the template. That's going to generate. So since we are starting
with an Instagram visual, it's showing you as showing
you the actual style that is going to be used to create
the post the theme, right? Text on the image. What's going to be
included on the image. This gives you some
space for modification. Let's say you'd like to
modify something over here. Once we take a look
at the end result, I could just simply ask hat GPT. To change the text on the
image, type something else. So the visual structure has
been translated to a text. Then it has given me the
captions, best practice format, including the actual hash tags, which could be used
based on the theme. Then the best
practice is followed, square ratio or portrait, then we have the
click to action. First two lines, order
now plus flavor preview, branded background,
hashtags niche plus Geo plus product focused. Take a look at the
result right now. See how powerful this is. So by proper prompt structure, I was able to have a best fit post for
Instagram within seconds, including graphic
design best practices, including branding, including messaging,
including marketing. And the graphics that we have
created from the get go, if you take a look at
them, the graphics, the logos, the themes, the typography, all of them
are part of our posts. This normally takes
hours to create, and we're able to get it done
within a couple of clicks, not to mention the
hyperrealistic images, which adds that extra solid vibe which you would like to pass on when you are sharing food
reviews or sharing dishes, which is very important on platforms such as
Instagram, right? So that way, we have a
clear post from A to Z, how it has been structured. What's included, by the way, on the text on the post. If I take a look at the text, tacos worth talking about. Go down. Tacos worth
talking about. It's already over here. Now, the text is actually
being reflected. Try al paso, chicken and veggie. Here we go, following the
color palettes as well. So how is the structured? You're having the text
within the visual for you to edit later on if you prefer what captions
will be used. Once you upload the image below, you can just simply copy
this as is to your screen. Then it confirms
the best practices followed to make sure that this post is set up for
success from the get go. So this is very powerful. You can just simply
save it, store it, or you can just simply type, create one more. Here we go. So what does this tell you? By simply building the proper prompt structure
that we have made, I can just simply from this
point onwards, keep typing, create one more, and then I'll have an endless
pool of visuals for Instagram for my
hypothetical restaurant over and over and over again
within a couple clicks, within seconds, and guess what? Every single one of
them is actually going to be reflecting the best cases, it's going to be reflecting
the best practices. That way, you have a clear
ability to have endless posts following your own graphics
design initiatives, social media initiatives, whatever initiative
that you're having, whatever project that
you're having by strategically and using the
innovative approach that I've taught you in this
current class to help you have an endless
pool of graphics, designs, brand messaging,
marketing posts, marketing initiatives,
and the list goes on. Take a look at the end result. It's going to follow
the same approach. The Instagram post
style, the theme, the text on the image, proceeding to create
this new visual. Notice what we have over here. It's giving me exactly what
text is going to be using, and then it's following
the best practices. Take a look at this.
This is very powerful. It's actually promoting the
food as part of promotion. This is very, very powerful. Now, keeping in mind, it
did not add the captions. I can just simply
add the captions. Here we go. And just
simply hash tags. Here we go. That's it. Add
the captions and hash tags. So simply when I have this post, I can just simply copy it, paste it, put it in a
different platform, put it on Instagram. Again, that way, I have the
ability to keep on generating these social media templates for my initiative over and over again without actually
running out of them. And in case I would like
to modify something, I can just simply modify it. Now let's move on to
the next platform.
12. Graphic Design For Social Media Part 2: Welcome back. Now
we're going to follow the same approach for
a different platform. And instead of just
simply trying to explain everything over and
over again to hat GPT, if you have been following through up to this
current stage, it just simply a matter
of typing two words. Proceed. Next. Here we go. Just simply proceed or
next, proceed next, proceed with the next
platform, whatever it is, two to three words, you're
able to get the job done. Simply because we have
structured it properly. Now we are going
to take a look at the end results for
different platforms, different combinations for
social media templates. Now, Facebook post visual, this is the style
horizontal square, 1,200 by 630 pixels
preferred for feeds and ads. Again, following the
best practices, bold, clean layout with high quality
taco plus burrito images. This is based on the
theme that we're having big read headlines, text on the images, the captions
then Facebook hashtags, best practice is followed, headline first in the
caption, call to action, slightly fewer hashtag
than Instagram, Facebook likes five
to ten Max Imogs to enhance friendliness
without overdoing it. It's showing me the
roadmap it's going to use to create the post and
the visual for Facebook. Now, let's take a look at this. Notice what's Chat
GPT doing right now? It looks like there are small technical glitches in generating the Facebook visuals. No worries. I'm ready
to retry properly. Would you like the
Facebook visual based on option number one? Family combo and
option number two, a slightly different post like try our signature burritos. Notice what's
happening over here. Chat GPT is actually referring to the previous
posts that we have created, the previous themes that we have generated, the
previous graphics, and it's going through the
building process by itself, and it got to a point where
it has to make a decision. Shall I go for
Option one that we have created in the
previous post or a different post?
That's why I got stuck. It's asking me to
guide it through. How is this happening based on prompt engineering
best practices? It's a matter of building it. Now, let the ship sail. I'm going to pick a
different option. Let's go proceed
with Option two, or feel free to
create something new. So instead of just simply using the previous post
as is for Facebook, how about we create
something new? So notice the end result. This is a new concept. It's not going to use
the previous post that we have created
for Instagram, and it's showing the link, by the way, between
Facebook and Instagram. That's why it has
asked the question, shall we go for option one or two or proceed with
something new? So this is the theme,
again, text on the image. Now proceeding to create
the Facebook visual. This is based on
the new concept. And if you have set
up this properly, following the lessons I'm teaching you in
the current class, you will have, like I mentioned, an endless pool of unique templates
that you could use for your own social
media initiatives, for your own branding,
for your own marketing. Now, let's take a
look at this post. Now proceeding to create the visual it's
adding the details, using the logo for
the restaurant, the graphics, the topography,
the color palettes. Take a look at the graphics that have been used and the actual visuals that
have been used. Look how vivid they are. This will actually go
viral on Facebook because it follows the best practices. It's very, very powerful,
very, very strong. I'm just simply going to type, add the captions and hash tags. Here you go. That's it. Now you can just
simply click on this, download it and you
are good to go. Now, we have tried
this for Facebook. We have tried this
for Instagram. And I'm going to
show you, let's say, I would like to have a different result
on Facebook as well. So I'm going to tell
it to chat GPT now, it has prompt to go
for Tik Tok because I have given it the prompt to
follow it through, right? But what I'm going to
ask HGPT right now, create a unique post. So what I'm going to ask
what I'm going to ask HAGPT to do right now is to create a variation of this post, create a new variation
of the post above. That way I have options in terms of the templates that
I would like to use, or you would like to
get some inspiration, or you would like to compare various social
media templates to help you get the best outcome. And you could just simply try this as part of AM
AB testing, right? You test one post,
it does not work. You change the captions, you change the hash tags, you change the visuals. That way you have
a clear ability to actually compare the
end result, right? Because when you're
dealing with social media, sometimes when you're posting
something it might work, or it might not work. Now, based on the
feedback from Facebook, the second style focuses
more on emotions, meaning craving, which usually
work extremely well on Facebook because emotional
posts get more shares. It feels personal and relatable, encourages impulse action, stop scrolling, feel craving, order. Would you also like me to create a second visual variation
for this caption? And it's giving you a
different answer, by the way, half eaten burrito or someone holding it with a bite taken? If yes, I can
proceed immediately. So it's giving you
the best practices the normal creators and
marketers use on that platform, and feel free to tinker
with this as you prefer. So I'm going to say, yes, proceed with the
half eaten option. So I have used the output from Chat GPT because I
said in the prompt, create a new variation, right? I did not just simply tell
it, create a simple post. Get creative. So that's
why it has proposed such an output following the best practices
on the platform, and you could get inspired
from the response, modify it to get an
even better response. Now let's take a look at
the end result that we have gotten based on the feedback from Chat GPT at
this current stage. So I'm sure this post will be way more powerful compared to the previous one
because as you go through the iteration process
and you go back and forth, building this with Chat GPT, the results get
better and better with every single
prompt that you build. Now, as the image unfolds, we could see the logo, we can see the graphics, the color palette is spot
on, even the topography. For the headline is
quite spot on, as well. We do have some of the
graphics that we have designed earlier as part of the
graphics design initiative, and take a look
at this a visual, which is incorporated in the
post in high resolution, zoomed in, showing
you the texture, showing you the structure,
and not just that. It's showing you actually
someone holding the burrito as part of the initiative, right? Signature burritos,
savor the first bite, taste buds approved someone is holding the burrito
in their hand. This is very, very powerful. This takes a lot of
work on Photoshop, by the way and other
graphic design tools, and you're able to create
it within couple clicks through an innovative
approach that I'm teaching you within
Chat GPT, right? This is very, very powerful. Now, we are not done yet. We're going to move
to another platform right now and see how
the results vary.
13. Graphic Design For Social Media Part 3: We come back. Now we're going to proceed with another platform. Let's go for Tik Tok. Now, proceed with Tik Tok. So now I'm going to see
if it's actually able to transform the designs into the best practices
based on the platform. Previously, we have used it
for Facebook for Instagram, created various variations,
but some platforms, they are uniquely
different than the other. So since we have properly
structured our prompts, going to see if
Chat GPT actually is able to take these
into the design process. As far as we could see so far, it's able to do so perfectly. Let's take a look at the answer. TikTok thrives on quick, engaging and visually
dynamic content. Let's create a
campaign for hops, which is the
hypothetical restaurant that we've created that's fun, snackable, and
potentially viral. TikTok content package chops. Is giving us the concept, visual content style.
Okay, excellent. I'll generate the static
thumbnail visual for now. Here we go. For use as a promo
or cover poster. That's okay. TikTok captions.
That's perfectly okay. It's given us the
captions for the post, the hash tags, as well as the
best practices. Here we go. Now, we got the design
being generated in process, and we have a clear
idea now the approach, which is followed by chat GPT. We have designed this
by. Give us the layout, what's going to be
part of the post. That way we have the ability to change the prompt and edit this. And then we're able to
see the final end result which reflects the text based
strategy, the captions, the hashtags, the
text on the visual, as well as being aligned with the best practices
with the platform. You can see, for
example, over here, we're still following
the color palettes, the graphics, but the layout and the text is
slightly different. We have more visuals,
as you could see. Even the visual representation
for the food is different. Then we have some
different wording, which is aligned
with the platform. That way we're able to
map the content that we have created from one
platform to another, making sure that
it actually meets the best practices for
that specific platform. And we're not done yet. Since we have learned
how to go about creating the graphics and
the designs for branding, for marketing as part of
social media templates, we're going to take
it one level further. Up next is a very important and a very unique and
interesting lesson. Most probably you have
never thought that we could do this with
artificial intelligence. And specifically HAD GPT in this current case,
but guess what? We're able to do it
and more up next.
14. Next Level Graphic Design & Branding: And welcome back. And now
I'm going to actually design the uniform for the staff of the restaurant.
You heard me right. I'm going to graphically
design the uniform for the staff based on the approach that we're
following so far with Chat GPT. Now we are ready to design the uniform for
our staff and make sure that the uniform follows the theme above
and get creative. Once done, create a
realistic visual slash image of the uniforms and if possible, with sample staff visual during day to day operation. So now I have given HAGPT the flexibility to
create the uniforms, but I've guided it
in a certain way. Providing the visual,
which is realistic, has to be realistic, such that we have
an impression or an idea how the uniform would look like if we have
staff wearing it, keeping in mind the
design of the uniform should align with the
theme of the restaurant. Notice that Cha GPT now is actually going to go
about the process of selecting the uniforms based on the color palettes
that we have chosen, and then it's going to actually build it upon us. Let's
take a look at both. Uniform design
concept for chops, the color scheme,
the main color, accent colors, texts and logos. It's actually using
the color palettes that we have created previously. T shirt, front of house staff, cap, apron, optional additions. Good. Staff visual concept, a realistic image featuring one front of the house team
member taking an order, one kitchen staff in the
background preparing food. Okay, now let's keep
things quite interesting. We're going to take a look
at the visuals at the ad. Now let's take a look
at the other side. Uniform design concept
for chops, T shirt, a polo shirt that is giving us the actual base
color, the apron, the cap, the hat, optional long sleeve
button for managers, now generating the
visual representation. So as you notice,
it's showing me the behind the scenes buildup
for the uniforms, and then let's compare the
end results for the staff. And you will be
surprised that this is actually artificial
intelligence generated. And no, these are the staff of the
restaurant these are not actually operating
in a restaurant with the name chops, not at all. Everything is generated through artificial intelligence
completely from A to Z. Like I've mentioned, through Smart strategic
innovative approach, we're able to see at this
current stage the full on uniform for our staff, which are, let's say, the hypothetical staff which are working in the restaurant, how would they look like if they are wearing the
uniforms, right? So we have one on
the left hand side, engaging with the
customer, taking orders. We have one on the
right hand side, actually dealing with the
kitchen with an apron, and you're able to see both
of these a visual design. For example, on the left
hand side over here, we can see the staff at the back end dealing
with cooking, you can see the logo chops. We do have a member of the staff dealing
with the customers. We can see the color
palettes and the logos. All of them, they are in
line with our design. Over here as well, we have a cap or a hat which says chops. Take a look at the apron and the graphics that we
have designed them, chops over here as well, even some bold text, juicy, bold Mexican, and you can see the layout or the
graphics on the apron, as well as the
color palette used. These are very, very,
very powerful, right? So now we have a clear idea how the designs would look
like on our staff. Now, this is basically
for staff at the kitchen, about staff dealing
with the customers, how about to add additional
options for uniforms and create a visual for each as
a unique item for reference. Now, what do I mean by this? I'm going to have
HAGPT right now. Instead of just
simply displaying images for staff
wearing the uniform, I'm going to have HAG GPT right now actually
display for me the actual pieces of uniform that I'm going to have as
part of the team, right? So that way, I have a
clear idea, a clear list. And then I have a visual for every single item in case you
would like to change them, upgrade them, have certain
staff use certain uniforms. Let's take a look at the answer. For example, here, we got Weekend fiesta uniform,
chef special jacket. Street team hoodie, premium
server, polo shirt. And then let's take a
look at the other option, chef back of the house, casual front of the house,
delivery staff, summer promo. I like this one better because
this one gets the idea. This response shows me that
Chad GPT got the idea that I need for every single staff
member based on their role, what kind of uniform
they need to wear, rather than simply having various random
pieces of uniform, which is not quite
practical for, let's say, a business
point of view. So additional uniform options and gives me the design concept, chops embroidered
on chest, corn, yellow buttons, give
green piping on color, corn yellow polo
with bold red chops, chest logo simple
and breathable. Excellent. So it's given me the description of
the actual buildup. But at the end of the
day, like I've mentioned, we need to have the
visual representation to see in practice,
how do they look like? Take a look at these powerful,
powerful end results. If you notice, now I have a
clear idea about the uniform, how it looks like, and how, for example, the staff members are going to be utilizing it. If you recall, and the uniform for the chef over here was present in the image
over here, right? You're able to see
this, which is great. It's showing me that Chat GPT is actually building on
this systematically. So we got chops for the chef. Then we got some staff items. I prefer this option. It's quite more professional. I prefer this response. Now proceed with the
rest of the items. By simply writing this
line or this prompt, now I do have the full on list. Of uniforms that my staff would be using within
this restaurant. We got the chef, we got the
casual front of the house, delivery staff, summer promo
staff, and the manager. And every single one of them, the item description
to certain point and the design concept for that
specific a piece of uniform. Now, we got the chefs uniform. Let's take a look at the other
items that we have online. Keeping in mind,
it's preferable that ChaGPT processes one
image at a time. So once it's done
with one of them, just simply type proceed with the rest of the items
in order to have the full computational power focused on creating
a single image. The more distributed the
computational power on these images at the same
time, you reduce the quality. And at this stage, we are not compromising
quality at all. We need the best output. We have been pulling
this through from the beginning
of the concept of the project that
we're working on all the way to the end result
that we have over here. So we have the
uniform for the chef. Then we go for the Awaerss
generating them one at a time. Not to mention, by the way. This is hyperrealistic, right? This is actually realistic. You see the shadows, the fabric, the texture, the
logos, the buttons. So everything is quite aligned. This is the uniform for the
polo shirt for the staff. Let's click on Proceed. I was going to keep
on going through the same cycle of creating
additional pieces of uniform. But here's an important
thing to keep in mind. When you are
creating the prompt, make sure that you mentioned the word realistic visual image. Otherwise, you're going you
might have cartoonish images, you might have images which
are not quite realistic. So every single word
counts in the prompt. It's very important
to keep this in mind. Like I mentioned,
this is a very, very powerful class, very,
very powerful course, which will help you
save years, hours, months of trying to do
graphic design by yourself, trying to do branding
by yourself. That way, you're able
to slice the hours, slice the effort, which usually, frankly speaking, a
word on such projects. And manually, it would take days upon days trying to
figure these things out. Graphics, color
palettes, uniforms, branding, all of these things. They take a lot of time.
Now, let's take a look at the other graphical
design elements, as well as branding elements
that we're able to craft and create with the
current initiative and process that we're having. Now notice what Chat GPT
has popped over here. Once I've typed in
the word proceed, understood it as proceed
with further designs, right? But it's combining uniforms as well as the designs in
front of the restaurant. Take a look at how
powerful this is. So, by the way, every
single thing that you're seeing right now
is generated by AI. The actual place does not exist. The staff do not exist, the uniforms do not exist. This is a hypothetical project. And look how realistic
everything is. Now, based on the above,
I clicked on Proceed. I got the basic
uniforms, the chefs, and then the other elements and items that we
have over here, the summer promo staff, the manager, delivery staff. Take a look at the
hypothetical staff working at the restaurant. You're able to see the brand
logo at the back chops, and then we have both of the staff members wearing the different color
palettes and uniforms, which are aligned with
the theme that we have. Then we got the polo shirts or a different color within
the palette, the chef shirts. That way, you have a
clear idea exactly how the uniforms look
like in reality before actually purchasing
these uniforms, and we are not done yet. There's a very powerful
application coming up next.
15. Create 3D Signage Saving Hours & Days of Manual Work: And welcome back. So at this current stage, we have been going
through a lot of graphic design concepts,
practical applications, usages, in addition to branding
initiatives as part of artificial
intelligence and chat GPT, specifically at
this current stage, but we are not done yet. Our project, our
hypothetical restaurant, we have created
it, it's graphics, its graphic design
elements, color palettes, topography requirements,
social media template, its menu, its packaging, as well as its branding, we have created from scratch, completely from scratch,
and we're not done yet. We have gotten to a point
where we've actually created the uniform for the staff
for such a project, but we need to see how this project looks
like in reality. So at this current stage, we're going to
create the Sineage. We are ready to
proceed by creating a captivating three D
Sineage which actually which reflects the theme and the essence of the restaurant. Get creative and show me
the best visual result. Here we go. Now I'm going
to have Chad GPT actually create for me the
sgeageH it looks like, like the actual front
face of the restaurant. This is part of graphics design in combination with marketing, in combination with branding. So how does it look like? So now I'm going
to have Chad GPT provide me with a three D
answer. This is very powerful. Three D sineageGive some room for flexibility in
terms of creativity, as well as maintaining
the theme, and you will be astonished
by the current results. They would seem realistic. Like the uniforms
were realistic, the templates, the
graphics, the posts. They were very hyperrealistic. I wouldn't expect
anything less at this current stage
than to actually have a very realistic sineage which showcases the
graphic design elements, the branding of the restaurant, how it looks like reflecting its complete theme as part
of cohesive messaging. This is very, very powerful. Take a look at the Sineage, the banner, which you find
on the restaurants outside. This is very powerful, and
you got one over here, and you got one over here. Let's compare both
of them, right? So we got the Sineage
chops, modern Mexican. Look how powerful this is. Chops creative with the logo, bell pepper with
different color grades for the how spicy is, modern Mexican, which is basically the theme
of the restaurant. Then we have this option over here, chops Mexican restaurant. It's a bit too dish. It doesn't look like three D, but this one gets
the job done, right? It's very, very powerful. And keeping in mind, you could
actually tinker with this. I can just simply say, add some lighting as a
back drop, here we go. So I can just simply
modify the images. I can modify the actual result by simply having
certain words of text. This is very important.
This is very powerful. It helps you iterate the entire answers and the
entire result until you get to a point where
you're able to find the best fit for your own application and
for your own requirement. Now, I have given it a feedback in order to modify the graphics, to modify the graphic
design for the Sineage. Now it's giving me two
different responses, two different options. And if you're assuming
that we're done with the application,
you are mistaken. We still have a very
powerful application that we need to tackle as well, to have a full on
graphics design project, graphics design initiative
and branding initiative and message completely
from A to Z, from ground zero all the way to being professionals at this. Take a look at this. I've
added some backdrop lighting. In order to showcase
the sineage, we got one option over
here. Here we go. You can see that there's
backdrop lighting to actually focus on the signage, another option over
here, which looks way more powerful
chops, modern Mexican. And this seems like
the winner over here. So I prefer this
current response. And that way, we have our sgeage for the
restaurant quite ready. So we got the logo,
we got the signage. We got the uniforms, the
menus, the packaging, the templates, the food, everything is quite
exquisite, right? Well, we're not done yet. I need to see, let's say, the design concept
for the restaurants. How would it look like? Assumingly it has
been constructed, it's up and running,
it's operating. Let's have a visual
representation of how this restaurant, with such a sineage with all of these components
that we have created, actually looks like in reality. You heard me right,
how it looks like in the artificial
intelligence reality. Let's get to that point.
16. Advanced Graphic Design AI Tactic: Here I got for you
an advanced feature, an advanced application if you'd like to get more involved with the graphic design process such that you could
add fine elements. Let's use the
current result that we have created for our
restaurant as reference. So I'm going to select
this image, for example. Let's say I would like to
change certain elements. Instead of going through
the prompt window and simply trying to recreate
the whole thing with words, take a look at the
bar over here. Select the stills or the
pen icon. Click on Select. Now, this basically
gives me the option. What would you like me to
add or remove or replace? So take a look at the image. Basically, I have the
highlighter over here. If I select this, for example, I have the ability to highlight certain aspects.
I can undo this. So let me reverse this for you. If I remove this, for example, it goes back
to the prompt window. Now, take a look at the stills
over here or the pen icon. Click on it. Now
it says selection. I could type literally
word for word, what I need to be replaced, or I can just simply navigate to the actual image and highlight what I would like to
be removed or change. Let me test this for you. How about I'm going to
highlight the bricks over here. Right? And then after
highlighting them, you can see that they have
been highlighted as a pattern. I'm going to click on the
prompt window and say, change the color of the bricks from the way they are too dark red to match
the restaurant. Now, I'm going to
click Generate. So this gives you
more flexibility. It gives you more
control on the output, either through prompt
engineering or through actual graphic
design manual, stills application, combined
with text based prompts. Now, once I select an
image, like I've said, I have the ability to
just simply click on Select and then I
have the ability to just type in a text of the things that
you would like to change after highlighting them, and then Chat GPT will start
to shoot responses for you in order to find the best answer that
fits your application. Take a look at the
first result over here and the second
result over here. Now, keeping in mind, we have literally highlighted the areas that we need change. Sometimes Chat GPT would change the entire design to
propose something new, but sometimes it would
actually stick to your own selection only. Now, let's take a
look at the result. And here we go. Take a look
at this powerful alteration. If you take a look
at the end result, we could see that
it has given me two different options
for the color red. This is almost a dark
red towards brown. This is basically dark red, but still you could see
that it's quite reddish. Even the structure of
the bricks is different. That way you could pick the one that best suits
your preferences. Now, if I go back to the other
one over here, similarly, it has changed it compared
to the previous design, that we had over here,
we can see some windows. We can see some light
brown or gray bricks. And if you notice, as well, even the bricks inside
the restaurant, they have changed
because it made sure we are sticking
to the actual theme. So the bricks outside
they changed, and the bricks inside as
well, they have been changed. Similarly, for the
restaurant over here. Both of them, they
have been changed. That way, you have a full
on perfect theme from ATZ without any elements
which are not quite aligned. So this is a pro or an advanced application where we can just simply select an image, and once you click on an image, simply navigate to the
stillus over here, and this gives you
the ability to select anything as part of the design, you can just simply replace, add, remove or
change completely. That way you have full
control on your designs. So you have endless
possibilities and endless applications and
endless limitations. So you can get creative as part of your graphics
design initiatives. You could add elements,
change elements, simply highlight it, type
it, and you're good to go.
17. Wrapping Up: What do you think?
Iruly hope that you found the class helpful. If it helped you get
the insight through this innovative
approach to chat GPT, when it comes to
applying it to graphics, design principles,
and brand messaging, then it's a job. Well, done, if you have leveled
up your knowledge by 1%, it means you're on
the right track. And I look forward to receiving your feedback on
the current class, and make sure that
you follow my profile for the latest
releases and updates, and I'll see you
in the next class.
