1. Class Five Introduction: Welcome to class 55, creative ways in Eichler armor for digital artists. In this class, you will learn even more techniques to use in Eichler armor. If you're new to Eichler armor, I encourage you to follow cause one to learn the basics of this wonderful app. I'd like to remind you that the Eichler on the app is only around six US dollar and a one-off price. It's a real bargain, I believe. For the apps versatility. I would like to introduce you to another five creative ways to use this. We'll begin with the explode effects. Then. Another way of using blend. The Swan uses the leak effect. And I'll show you how to say in PNG, the young girl shows three different treatments of the same image. Finally, I used organic and grunge finishes on the elephant head. Plus I demonstrate how to use the clone tool. All ready. Let's go. 2. Lesson One Explode Effect Underwater Head: Welcome to Lesson one. In this lesson, we will explore they explode effect and finish off with a linear effect to give an underwater look. So let's begin. Open up eye color armor. Tap the Window on the top left and import your image. This image is from Unsplash and copyright-free. Look at the image you've chosen and make sure there's a fairly bland background like we have this sky here. The contrast is quite good. Now we're going to start by going into form and crop. Now bear in mind that you need room for the explosion to show up. So I'm going to take half of the picture away. Tap, Save to adjustments. Make the exposure and little better. So I'm going to adjust an exposure. Going to put the contrast up to 70%, the exposure up to 40, and the brightness to 15. I think that's a little too bright. Just put the brightness at ten. Saved to adjustments. Then we're going to go into brush, book along towards the right and find explode. Tap the window in the bottom right, and choose number one. Now tap the settings and we're going to make the Edge about 50 per cent. Tap off the manual rotation and put the rotation up to about 50. Tap on the Settings again. Now we're going to increase the size quite a bit. Tap with your finger or the Apple pencil where you want the explosion to occur. That looks quite good. And I'm also going to tap the picture on the bottom right to make it look as if something else is exploding around there. I'm happy with that. So I'm going to save two adjustments. Next, we're going to go into presets and lineal. Tap the window in the bottom right-hand corner. And we're going to go down. You can see all the different effects. But for this particular one, I've chosen number 17. The window again. Now, I think this looks quite good because it makes it look as if it's underwater. So I'm going to save that to adjustments. Next, we're going to go into texture. Go along until we see bubbles. Tap the window in the bottom right-hand corner. You can see all the different bubbles. I thought since we're looking at an under water effects, a few bubbles would add to the picture. Looked at quite a few, and I ended up choosing Thursday to tap the window again. Now with your finger moves, the bubbles. Decrease the size a little bit until they look about, right. Then save to adjustments. And I picture is finished. So I'm going to now save the picture to the camera roll. Let's just look at the history and refresh what we've done. We started off with this image. We've cropped it. We adjusted the contrast. We added the explosions. We went into linear and chose an underwater effects. And finally, we added the bubbles. And we'll move on to lesson two. 3. Lesson Two The Veiled Woman: Welcome to lesson two. I particularly like this creation which utilizes the oil finish, blend, hostile and our waves. The images from Pixabay and the pattern created in Eichler armor in an earlier class. Enjoy. Open up eye color armor. Tap the picture icon on the top left, and import the image of the lady. Now we're going to go into style and painterly tap the window in the bottom right, and choose the one marked orally phi one. Say that two adjustments. Now we're going to go into effects and blend. In the bottom right, there's a picture icon, tap that and choose the pattern. The pattern needs rotating and widening a little to fit the picture. Let's tap zoom and moves the picture in so we can see all of it. Tap zoom again to set the position. Now we're going to turn the feature down to 50%. Tap the brush, mask, tap the brush, and choose number one, the basic. Tap the brush again. I reduce the brush size quite a lot. We going to uncover the eyes very carefully. Removes the pattern from the eyes. Leaving it over the nose and mouth to form a veil. There. That's about right. Let's try moving the opacity down a little. Yes, I like that. So we're going to save two adjustments. Now. We're going to go into town. And Postel tap the window in the bottom right. You can see all different kinds of shades you can achieve. With the pastel effect. She can see there's some quite interesting ones. Choose whichever you like. But for this purpose, I'm going to choose number two. Now I'm going to change the Gamma up slightly to 20. I going to put the contrast a little bit. I think we'll leave it as it is. That's about right. So we're going to save two adjustments. And now we're going to go to texture. And we're going to put a paper texture on press paper. Tap the window in the bottom right. There's all sorts of paper textures you can choose from. In this case, I'm going to choose number eight, which is quite a subtle texture. Play back with the size and intensity. I think it's quite good as it is. So I'm going to say that two adjustments. Now we're going to stay in texture and go to always tap the window in the bottom right. And you can see all sorts of different effects. Just to give some added interests. Can't remember which one I originally chose, but we'll let's look at this one and then just move it and expand it. What gives quite a nice ethereal effect? Chat window again, I like that, so we're going to save two adjustments. Now let's look at our history. We started off with a picture of the lady, went to painterly and chars, an oil finish. We went to effect some blend and put a pattern over the top. Then we use the mask to reveal the face and the eyes. And then we went to pasta and we chose a nice pastel color. Then we went into paper and puts a fine texture on there. I'm finally, we went to our waves just to add a little bit more interest. And that's our completed picture. So now we're going to go to the top right and save to camera roll the end of lesson two. So let's go and start less than three. 4. Lesson Three The Swan: Welcome to lesson three. I thought we would have a change of pace and create a tranquil scene with this swan. And now we're going to use the leaky fact texture, paint and blend. In addition, I will show you how to save the file as a PNG, so no background is visible. Let's begin. Open up Eichler armor. Tap the picture icon in the top left. I'm bringing your picture of the swan. Now we're going to go to form and crop. Just bring the picture in a little on the left and save two adjustments. Next, we're going to go to Style and water. Tap the window in the bottom right-hand corner. And we're going to choose number two. That looks a nice soft picture. Save two adjustments. Now we're going to go to texture and look along the second menu and find leak. Tap the window in the bottom right-hand corner. And we're going to find number 30. I thought that gave a really pretty effect. Going to rotate this a 100%. So the pink and green go in the places that look the best. I'm going to press the screen and tap soft. Going to save that adjustment. Staying in texture. Look along the second menu and find miscellaneous. Tap the window in the bottom right, and choose number seven. Tap the window again to get rid of the menu. Now with your finger, Let's enlarge this a little bit up into the top right-hand of the screen, which gives us a nice moon effects. Save two adjustments. Now staying in texture will find, I said at the beginning of the sub-menu, paper, tap the window in the bottom right. And we're going to choose number eight. Tap the window again to get rid of the menu. And we're going to save this to our camera roll. Now we're going to tap the picture icon on the top left and bring in the picture of the owl. I've actually isolated this picture in Procreate that I'm providing it for you as a PNG so you can use it straight away. Now we're going to go to Style and painterly. Tap the window in the bottom right and choose number four, the paint effect. Now we're going to save this picture as a PNG. So go up to the top arrow, the top right. But don't just save, save as a PNG. And that will save the owl with I2 background on it. Next spring in the picture of the swan that you've just saved. Go to effects and blend. Tap the picture icon in the bottom right. I'm bringing the picture of the owl that you've just saved. Now we're going to reduce that in size and position it. And we're going to reduce the feature quite a lot. So it's just a suggestion of an owl flying by. Let's look at the screens. And we're going to put the screen on Multiply just to deepen the color a little bit. And that's our picture completed. So go to the top right and save to your camera roll as a normal picture. Now let's move on to class four. 5. Lesson Four The Young Girl: Welcome to lesson four. This point, new photo of a girl appeal to me. I soften the image with water, be adjusted with tone, lab and texture. I've added an additional treatment. You can try using NetFlow and sepia. Let's go open up Eichler armor. Tap the picture icon in the top left corner, and bring in the picture as a girl. Now we need to crop this picture so we'll go to form a crop, moves the panels in at the side, and we'll crop it up as well. They're safe to adjustments. Now we're going to go into style. And water. Tap the window in the bottom right and choose preset to. That gives us a nice soft image. Saved to adjustments. Now go to adjust back along the menu to the left and choose tone lab. Tap the window in the bottom right, next to all the different tones you can get. But in this instance, we're going to choose number 16. Just brightens it up a little safe to adjustments. Now we're going to go into texture and find Bokeh to tap the window in the bottom right. Are we going to choose number four? Position? The little bokeh bubbles to the top left. Tap the window again. Now I tap the circle mask. And the plus sign and position the mask over the face. Increase the blur. Chris, the mass slightly, the circle mask off. We're just clear the bokeh bubbles away from the face. Now staying in texture, we're going to go to paper and presets five, tap the window in the bottom right, and choose precessed five. You can see that the paper texture leaves the face where the circle mask is free. The texture. Going to save that to adjustments. Now we'll have a look at the history. We started off with our picture. We crop the picture. We pose a nice watercolor effect on. We adjusted the tone in turn lab. We put the texture on. I can see that I didn't save the bubbles. So we'll just go back into biochar to the bubbles back in position. The brush mask, the radius mask again, and we'd put the brush mask back on. You'll find nine again that you do forget to save the adjustment like I've just done. So you can always just go back a step and repeat the step that you didn't save. So now we can save that to our camera roll. I'm going to show you another way to treat this photo. Will go into history and choose the cropped picture. Then we'll go to style. Look along the bottom menu and find ET flow. Press the window in the bottom rise and choose preset for. That gives us a nice sketch of the girl. Save two adjustments. Now going to tone and sepia. Tap the window in the bottom right. You can see all different ways. You can change this sketch. I ended up choosing number 60. I thought that looked quite nice. So I'm going to save to adjustments. And then I'm going to go into texture right to the beginning of the second menu and tap paper. Tap the window in the bottom right, I'm choose preset one. I just quite like that line effect. For a change in the paper texture. Save to your camera roll. And that's our second treatment. Now for our third treatment, we're going to choose a crop picture like we did in class one. We're going to make this picture into the tune effects, which I think will work quite well. So we're going to go to style and to save the adjustment. And the picture needs cropping again. So we go back into form and crop just moves the side thing and save the adjustment. Not to give it a little bit more interest to this tune picture. We're going to go into texture. And Bokeh three. Tap the window in the bottom right. And you see this, flowers, hearts and stars. Thought hearts would work quite well with his picture. So I went with number 35. Now with my finger, I just moved the heart's over a little. Press the window to get rid of the menu there. And I press the circle mask and the plus sign. And just expand the circle mask over the face and position it. Increase the blur radius. So it's a softer drop-off of the hearts. That looks about right. Tap the circle mask again, unsafe to adjustments. Now finally, we'll put a paper texture on this picture. So we're going to press, pipe it to staying in texture. Press the window in the bottom right. Look at the different textures. By thought. Number 16, look quite good. It's almost like a crumpled paper effect. Tap the window again to remove the menu. That's our finished picture. And you'll notice that the paper effects hasn't gone over the mask part of the face, which gives us a little bit more contrast. So we're going to save this to our camera roll. And then we have three ways of treating the same picture. So let's move on to the next lesson. 6. Class Five Lesson Five: Welcome to lesson five. I'm going to introduce you to some new treatments we haven't covered so far. We'll create this picture of an elephant herd using flow, drama tone, then clone parts of the picture. Then we'll put on to new textures, organic and grunge. So let's get started. Open up our color armor. Go to the pitch icon in the top left. I'm bringing the picture of the elephants. Now first of all, we're going to go into style and then flow. Tap the window in the bottom right-hand corner. And we're going to stay with number one. We're going to say that two adjustments. Next will go to town. Look along the second menu and find drama. Go to the window in the bottom right. And I look through these, and I ended up choosing number 13. I thought that gave quite a nice light to the picture. So we're going to save that to adjustments. And next we're going to get rid of this little man that's in the middle of the picture there. So we're going to go to the brush and clone. Now simply tap a part of the picture that you want to clone the man out. There is gone. Save to adjustments. And next we'll go to texture. Long the menu and find organic. Though to the window in the bottom right. There's all sorts of organic textures here. In fact, lots of them. A 144. I look through these and I chose 39. So let's go down and find 39. There. I thought that gave a nice ethereal feeling to the picture. So we're going to save that to adjustments. Staying in texture, we're going to choose grunge to tap the window in the bottom right-hand corner. And you can see there's lots of different effects. That's quite nice actually, number ten. But I ended up going with number 15. I thought that cracks look, seem to work with the elephants. Tap the window again to remove the menu. But we're going to reduce the intensity right down to 15%. You can play around with the size, but I think it's about right as it is. Then tapped the screen icon that says multiply. We're going to change this to overlay. That gives quite a nice effect. So we'll save to adjustments. And staying in texture will go right to the beginning of the second menu and into paper. Tap the window in the bottom right. Now chose preset for and that's our picture complete. Save two adjustments. We'll just have a look at the history. Started off with this image. We went into flow. We change the tone with drama. Then we went into brushing clone and removes the little man in front. Organic texture, grunge to texture. I'm finishing off with a paper texture. So you're all finished and we're now going to save that picture to our camera roll. 7. Class Five Wrappup: Thank you for taking my fifth class. I hope you've enjoyed the five classes.
