1. Introduction: Hello everyone. Welcome to my class. Am so many other while an artist and an educator in this class, I will show you how you can easily craft a pen holder using ice cream sticks. This craft is really easy that even a beginner crafter can easily make. So this class is for artists as well as well-known artist. In the next video, I will tell you the material that I'm going to use in this class for crafting this pen holder. In the end, there is a fun class project for you, all that you have to submit. So let's start.
2. Material Required: For crafting this pen holder, I'm going to use as KM stays the size of ice cream sticks you can choose on your own. Also, I'm going to use this hot glue gun to paste these ice cream sticks and scissors to cut the cardboard. Also, I'm going to use this marker that you can use any color. This is an old cardboard box of all okey. You can use any other cardboard box, but make sure it's closed from one side, at least. For coloring the asymptotics, I'm going to use these brush pens. You can use any other colors, although such as acrylics or spray paints, that's totally up to you.
3. Crafting the Pen Holder: Let us start crafting our pen holder for this, I'm going to use this as drumstick, this cardboard box, and the Marko first, I'll mark the height of this folder. That much isn't needed. Now you're going to notice that I'm using the side that is closed from one side. Okay. And notice the amount of I assume stick that I'm left to be measured here I'm mocking from this side. And I'm drawing this line so that it will be easier for me. Cut this out. Now, I'll make the same kind of marking on all the other three sides using this one as a reference. And this is a rough reference. You can alter the size as per your choice. That's totally okay. Now to cut this out, I'll uses is us and we'll remove the excess part of it. Remember, we have to keep the closed side or with us and the other side to be got the doubt. If you are below the age of seven, then I recommend using the Caesars with the head. Any adult with you, ask your family, friends, patents, anyone who can help you with this step. Now I'm just finishing part is going to be done. Yes, now we are good to go with this cardboard box. So here it is ready. The part that we need to class that pen Stan, remove the excess waste, just saw office once and then it will move on. Now, here in this box, this one side is closed and is really very distinct to the side so that it will not come out backfill safer side. I'm using this LOT to fix it. Once again, I'm applying enough amount of yellow tape to avoid any any problem in future. Now we are just good to go. Let's move further. It's time to base DashCon stakes. Notice that from this base side, I have placed this, I assume stake one side of that, some stickers just this circular path and the other one is a real bigger one. So though part of the cardboard box that is being covered from one side is the one that have this smaller portion of ice cream stick. You can alter this size, but it I recommend to do this because this will help you increase the height of the appends ten. So I'm applying this glue out of this glucagon and I will paste the, I assume sticks over it. You can use for every call also for this. But I really can't use if I recall because this divers of my cardboard Israeli only the shiny one, the plastic one. So the fabric colon not to work really well over it. That is why I am using a hot glue gun and blue. Now I apply more glue on the other side and then paste another stick. Makes sure to place this taken such a way that is very much linked to the cardboard box as well as very much in the size of the first one. Because these all have to mean a straight line. If you will paste one upper side and lower side, then this spends 10 will have some difficulty in we kept on the table. This will be difficult for us to keep that pen stand on the table. Now, this one side is complete. Just keep in mind to press all the six from Lee newNode place to really, really hard but do not leave them on pressed. Now moving onto the other side, I'm applying the wind again. I'm applying glue out of this glucagon again and just placing this, I still stick with it. But now, many of you might feel it difficult to measure how to place this IS clumps take rarely very well as the other one that we did in, like the first one. How to measure the size. But here you have to keep in mind, you can use any scale for this. You can use any other kind of major domains to do so, but with a little idea, you wouldn't do that, but you just have to be a little conscious. Now I'll place the another stick. Similarly, we'll cover the entire surface of this cardboard box using this ticks and look Lou, keep in mind to press each and every stick firmly so that all of these sticks. Okay. Now we are done with covering all the sides of this cardboard with this TIG. But just keep in mind to press these a little and just give these ticks and the board some time to settle because this is really heavy sticks and getting pasted on a simple cardboard box. So this takes some time. So just be patient with this so that the states don't come out of it and will look good. So these are all the sides and now we have to paint them. We even paint these sticks. And then next we do.
4. Painting the Base: Now, for painting these isotopes takes, I'm going to use a batch spends. You can use any other colors such as acrylic colors are the spray paints all is so that is totally up to you. I'm using the mesh spends because these are less messy to work with. You can use a guy looks very easily AND WE look really good and will give the ICMC funnest ball. Let's look, okay, and I'm using the dead Kylo. You can use any colored to colonial stakes. That's totally up to you. I'm the kind of decode you want to add to your room. If you are using the brush pens as I'm doing, make sure to apply so two fives codes so that each and every side of does stick looks really very, very polarised. So now we're done painting the first side. You can use any colors like the mixture of ones take off one color and the other sticker father color data is totally up to you. I will do the same color on the rest of all the three sides. So in the next video, I will show you how I did all these three in the same color.
5. Decorations: Now I have been taped all the four styles of this pen holder off with the same color. You can use other colors also for decoration. I'm going to decorate the front side of this. I have this small degradation peace with me. You can use any other declaration piece that you have with you. There is no need to buy anything that is similar to this one. You can make other designs or also you can use Paypal to make some flowers. Also. Also, I have this small laced with me that I'm going to use to decorate this, the front side of this. And I'm just measuring the length and then I'm going to paste these on these sticks. You can use any other stuff like you can make some sales out of rough Claude that you have. You can use any paper strip, you can use any colored paper. The decorations are totally up to you and the material that is available to you here, I'm using that stuff that is available to me. I haven't by disrupt markets, you can reuse the old stuff. That's totally up to you because you are recreating something from the stuff that we already have. So I do degradations mostly with those things only. Now the rest of the list I'm placing like this. So we have made this big rectangle and placing this small centerpiece, also one small portion of this list I'm placing it and the top of this center piece. Now, to paste this, I'm going to use the hot glue gun you can use of every call also, you can use any other glue also, the kind of material decides what kind of glue you have to use. So according to the design that you have selected for your pen, the pen holder, according to that, you can use that. So here I'm just applying the glue out of this gluon in this step. So now just keep this. In the next video.
6. Final Look: So guys Hill is the final look of our pen holder. If you want, you can paint the interior of this craft, but I haven't done so. You can use radius degradation stuff as per your choice.
