1. Hello :): Congratulations, I wanted to congratulate you for joining this awesome course. In this course, we will explain to you how to grant a beautiful dark move through photography. We will start from what is the tools we have to prepare, and then what is the props you need to prepare to treat a beautiful dark would put photography. Then I will explain to you about the liking hacks, how to sack the lighting, where to place the lighting, what kind of lighting you use, what kind of lighting? More beefier you have to boot to modify the lighting to increase the quality of the lighting for your father shared. Then finally, after we do the setup of the lighting and then we take the photo shoot, we will show you the process, how we pick the definite food photography. And then finally, we'll also explain to use tab right there, how we added a beautiful garden. Repeat photography using the Lightroom. This course, we will explain all about downwards with photography. And then I hope you enjoy the course. And then I also want you to practice every single step I explained to you across this course. Okay, I'll see you in the next section. I will show you about the truth and always told the camera the lenses we use. Actually in this course, I don't use that the most expensive camera I will use the most expensive lenses. They also don't use the most expensive lightning. So if you guys, I'll feel that I have to spend so many breaths just to wider, expensive camera lens is enlightening. That is not true because you can also start with the lighting you have. And also we don't use very expensive tools here, so you won't have to worry. Okay, I'll see you in the next section. 2. Introduction of Lighting: Okay guys, In this accident, I will explain to you about the lighting equipment we use in our day for the past like six years when we take food photography for every, almost every single day. This is the last thing we use for all of our Windows. You would actually, I'm not doing a promotion above this brand, but I personally use this brand for a couple of years. So yeah, this is the right thing. I used guard dogs escape 400 actually, 400 means the power of the lighting. I have to two hundred and four hundred. If you want to find it in Marketplace, you can find here like I'd go dogs escape or 100. And then to make this thing work, you need a trigger. Actually, this is a trigger. I use Google Docs X1, t. If you want to find this one, you can also find in the marketplace like this previous involved because when you use this free, it already connect with automatically with the hypoglycemic. So both are usually you need transmitter and receiver. The receiver is already built inside this machine so you don't need any receivable at all. Just trying to me that an anteater next automatically. And then I want to explain to you a little bit above the lighting modifier I use I only use this ponder reflect there to make a direction of the light thing and to make it softer. Because if I don't use anything after this standard on delighting will be very hard to make the lighting softer. I used the list views are like this. So if you want to find this is the Filson in Marketplace you can find and type five in one reflector wider maybe spiking wondering because there's five site of the reflector, black, white or silver? Gold. And the one that is see-through like this, this is the diffuser. It's part of my thing wondering why this is my bedroom is because I can change the characteristic of the thing when I using this one for example. This is how we set the lychee and then one principle and we have them know. If you want to make the lighting, then you just they have to make the decision closer to the lighting so you will get the harsh lighting correct the mistake. And then if you want to make the lightning software, then you just move the diffuser further from the light, then the lagging will be software. That is why I really like this kind of setup. And then if you travel a lot and you shoot in the client's location, it has all the various important because we just need to fold it like this. Then one note that you have to remember is, I usually buy the overall shape of the reflector. I don't buy the round one because in the oval shape, if you want, you want it on the table, it is very, very simple, but if you only have the round one, then maybe like this. So there will be area that is not covered by reflective. So I recommend you to buy the awful one and then the size of the reflector is 120 days. And the methods for this time, then the last one is the lights plant, okay? If you want to find it in the marketplace, you can type like this. Then you travel a lot. Also you should in the client location mostly. Then I suggest maybe you can also buy the smaller one. The likes that I used here is not more than 70 centimeter. So you have the large suitcase, so you can also put it inside your suitcase. That is all the lighting I used. Actually for the dark multiple photography lighting is very simple. And then most of the time you only need one, right? Yeah, it really is important. And then I will explain to you the position exactly for every image that we will produce. In the next lecture. I will see you in the next section. 3. Introduction of Camera: I'll go guys, this accident, I will explain to you above the camera and lenses I use for most of my professional food photography job. Wonder camera actually in this section, I don't use a very sophisticated and very expensive camera. Actually in this section, I will only use the Canon 6D and this is the spec. And then by the time I showed this course, actually, and I'm not produced, cannot take anymore. I think it's Canon 6D marks to mark two, it six, Denmark one. I think they are not produced this one anymore. Why I use this camera? Because I wanted to show you that you don't have to invest the very new camera because actually the one depth real create a beautiful dark mode food photography picture is you not the camera and not the land. But in this I said, I will just show you what camera and let us ideas. You want to become the professional food photography. I suggests you have this one, but in you don't have this one yet. You don't have to worry. Or the thing you have to start is do the practice while you're completing your tools. This one is canon 100 millimeter 2.8 and visit the span. Why I loved this one is because when you use this plan to shoot 45 degree and from angle using this lens, this lens will create a beautiful blur that grown and very sharp in your subject. And then the color is my favorite color. Produced by this land is very beautiful and altered this chart and this is my favorite one of my notes. Yes, you've used a few half the lens. Would I suggest that you use this in most of the time when you shoot your food photography. Because in many cases, I use the backlighting while using this land. So when you face the lighting in front of you, if you don't use the land short, if the writing directly hit your lens, effect your color, it will make your color not as sharp as you use this one, okay? So if you use this one your liking, there weren't any flash come through badly to this lens then, because it's offered where I went to it and the color will be very beautiful. The front angle and 45 degree angle are mostly I used these lands and then the second one, I use the 50 million, They're cannon 1.8, which is one is the mark too. So I use this one on leaf war, the top angle shoot or flight later. Because if you use this one for the top angle, then you did a leather because this land is to fiery. If you weren't, you make your lens closer to your subject, then you definitely have to use this one. Actually, the profession off with photography, I only use this to lens if you still don't have this kind of camera and lenses, you don't have to worry because all this course is not about fasting, expensive camera and expensive lens, but you wouldn't invest in your knowledge how to paint a beautiful picture regardless what kind of tools you use. K is just supporting that. If you are a professional photographer, and I hope this course we'll drag it to become one. You will create beautiful beach in regardless what kind of lighting and tools you have. In the next section, I will show you about the lighting views and also the light modifier we use for most of our fourth section. I will see you in the next section. 4. Project 1 : Choose the Right Props & Compose !: Okay guys, Welcome to this section. And then in this section I will explain to you about the preparation war. We'll do the photoshoot. It is quite important to know and to choose the right drops while you are doing the photoshoot and seems it's a dark photo session. Then I'll explain to you first above the background the props we use and we choose to create this beautiful dark Martina. We use to background. There are hard is a little bit grown and the vertical and horizontal big gun, I just the dark woods here. And then for the firm, the gold background, I use this one and I'll place it right here. Yeah, I'll put the chair behind. So I'll put it right here. And because we blend to put our lighting there, if you want, you make the background darker, then you have to face your big gun through here to make sure that it will be darker. If you want to make it brighter. You will pleased with big long like this, because if the lighting is right here, then it will be brighter. This scene. We are planning to make this darker. So I'll vase a background here, so it will become darker. I'm done for the main subject, we have a beautiful cake there and you have to recognize which part you want to shoot. And then since the cake is tall, and then I think I want to use this area as the face of our wood from here and it will become the face of the foot. And then I'll explain to you another props we use actually for the dark with tapping. And I suggest you to use the dot props and this backlog to provoke or this background because it's also there. And then if you've asked integer, but don't add any new color in our frame. And we also have the small and Berkeley here. And we also have the honey, honey before. Okay? Then we also have the dark bowl, that wooden bowl here with our flower inside. And then we purposefully choose the egg, the smaller one, because I want you to make sure that most of the plops is small and it will make our foot is turned out if you can, you can choose the smaller, smaller, smaller plate and many things. And then instead of using the whole API, this, you also can use only the page shells, the variation of the texture, even if you don't have too many products, you can also have choice. Make the different texture of your object. I choose to use only the shell to give them different texture. And we also have the small ninth year. I also paint a small knife to make sure it's also a dark gray. So that's how we choose our Bob's. I'll see you in the next section. 5. Project 1 : Light Your Food !: Okay, guys may have already done the setup. Then I will explain to you about the lighting settings here. In this section, I will explain to you, I want you to identify which is the main science of our food, okay? Because the K is tall, the family called area of this as the main area that we want to shoot. You have to think I'll area as the main phase of your foot. Then I suggest to use the site lighting. Because the side lighting we'll make the texture year in the pharmaceutical area. So I only use one like in here, only the side lighting. Or you also can decide to use both. You can use to sites to make the beautiful texture here, highlight, highlight, and shadow in the front. But this time, and I'll use only one lighting there. So there will be a beautiful transition between light to dark here. The distance between our subject here to our diffuser here is about one meter. Then the distance between our diffuser here to our life thing, best about like 15. Send the method, get 1550 meter and one meter here. Okay, so debits our settings and then I'll explain to you the power of the lighting here we use S1 for 16 and then the heading of life thing we said he's the same level with the foot, so we want to maximize the texture here. So we use the same Hague off the footwear, our life and you sat the lighting here, then the texture won't be maximum. So if you wanted to get a beautiful texture there, you want to make sure that the Hague of the lightning is the same width our subject. Okay. And then I'll explain to you about the blocking here. I can shoot like this, but I prefer that. I want you to get beautiful highlight here. And then I want you to get the darker mood in the back of our cake. So I want you block the lighting here, just make sure that the lighting is badly come through here to the back area of our food will be blocked by this one. I use the Blackboard like this. You don't have this one. You can also use this clipboard. Most of people use the paper here too, right? But I use the black one and then I usually use this one while doing photos. You typical for blocking the lighting? Yep. If you don't have this one, you can also purchased this black clipboard and then you put it like this, works just the same width, this blackboard. Okay. Yeah. This is the settling of the lighting here. I'll pick two times the first time outtake we adult my essays Stern, and then the second time I'll ask my assistant here. So I will take two sin and their setup. Okay. So this how simple the lighting is and then I'll see you in the next section. 6. Project 1 : Adjust Your Camera !: Okay. Before we are doing a photo shoot, I'll explain to you about the camera's settings. Actually, if you weren't quite mu, using the DSLR camera or coop for those youth, then the setting actually is free. The symbol, usually most of the time while I shoot with a flash right there, I'll use the 100 and the ISO, and then I'll use one per 125 more the shutter speed. And then the one that I changed frequently, it's only the aperture, the f-number, because if not, then I will make the aperture aware and then veered too bright. I will make the aperture higher. This time, I'll try with the 0 as the aperture. And then I suggest you to pack in the raw format because it will give you many advantageous while you do the editing in Lightroom for the white balance, I use Kelvin as the way melons because actually if we are using the studio like thing like that, they already have wondered about the color of the light and it was pretty easy. I want you to make it consistent. So I always use Kelvin while I using that kind of lighting. And then for the Kelvin value here, It's 5,500 as the white balance. That's all for the cameras, I think I wouldn't mind. Again, the wonder if I change the most is only the f number because if it's too dark, lord, that after number a Ritz bright, I'll increase the f-number, okay? 7. Project 1 : Prepare Your Food & Shoot !: Hey guys, I already have my essays. In this section. I will take loadable times. The first time I'll take without assistant. And then the second time I will have my assistant here place their hand on the board under our cake here. One thing you have to consider S, Since our lighting here, we'll put our assistant there to make sure that the lighting here is also can give us exchanger here. What I don't suggest is if you replace the lighting here, if you put the writing in this position, it can bring the texture here. It will also very good, but this area will be very dark if you only put the lighting here. Okay. So I don't suggest that seems I want to sell these area. So I asked our system to boot the dark up from here and also the dark shirt under upon. So the main attention only here, I don't want to make the assistant become the center of our pictures. So it seems it's dark Moto. I asked my axes then also used the app wrong and dark shirts below. And then the other thing is, after we light our candle here, we also want to blow the candle and we wanted to make sure that we also take the small texture here, and we wanted to make sure that the smoke background is also dark because the smoke will be white and this dark area, we'll make the smoke will pop out. Yeah. So that's how we set our starting and let's do it a photoshoot. 8. Project 1 : The Result !: Okay guys, we have already done our for those shoots and then I will show you some of the result. So here's the brief view of the picture without our I system, with our assistant and with the small okay. The preview. If you guys wanted you to know this fact by step, clearly how we added this picture, we already cover it in the next section in the editing part, we'll show you how we use the Lightroom to create this kind of editing, especially for the document editing. So I'll see you in the next section. 9. Project 1: Light Your Food with Lightroom !: Okay, hello guys. So in this video, I'll edit the colors in this picture guys, which is a picture of the dark mood in the first foot guys. In this picture guys, I'll explain how we edit colors so they are good, not cracked, focused, and also have good colors guys. Well, I'm here using Dob Light Room guys. You can just download it on the app Store or on the playstore guys. This application is actually free. Well, I'll also use the free features here guys, let's go straight to the point. I'll crop the image right away because I think it's too big guys. You can directly open the crop here. Crop, then I'll choose five times seven. Then I'll scroll to the bottom. Now after cropping, I'll adjust the light here in the light menu. Well, in the light menu there is exposure guys. Well, I'll increase the exposure here, but when you increase the exposure, you have to be careful. Why? Because exposure will increase the entire light level in your image guys. You have to be careful here. I'll increase the exposure level. A little guys around the number 0.35 I don't need to increase the contrast because I think it's good with zero. Then here there is highlight. Highlight is the reflection of light from your lighting. Well, for example, it's like this guys in the white part, in the white color of the cake, there is the color of the light reflected from the lamb guys. That's what's called a highlight here. Because the highlights are two over, in my opinion, I lower the highlights to -50 more or less 52. Okay, well then here there is also such a thing called shadows. Shadows is the shadow level behind the light that is not exposed to light. Okay. Well, I'll increase the shadow by around 30 maybe, so that the shadow is not too dark eyes. Okay. Then after shadow there is white guys. Well the white is the whiteness level of the color of the photo guys. Here I'll raise the white. Well, the difference between white and exposure is the white only increases the brightness of the image, which is only white. Unlike the exposure, white doesn't increase the light level in the whole pictures. The white is not too sensitive to be raised. I'll raise the white about 72. Here guys. Then here there is also the black guys, while the black is the same as the white. This focus is only on the black ones. Guys like the shadow, like this photo assistant shirt and also like this background. Well, I'll reduce the black to make it look darker. And focus guys, well here I'm going to reduce it to around -19 or 20. Okay. Well, for the light menu, it's like this guys. That's enough in my opinion. Then I'll move to the color menu. Guys in the color, you can just choose the one next to grading. This is the color two guys, you can press it right away. Well, here are various colors for the red color. Here I'll add the hue, which is around plus 17 guys. And also the saturation. While the saturation is the level of warmed, I'll reduce it about -42 Then I don't set the luminenskay guys for the orange color, we don't adjust it at all. Then here is the yellow color. For the yellow color here, I'll reduce the saturation of the yellow color to -100 guys because the yellow color here is quite excessive. Well, to make it look softer, I'll reduce it a little. Well, for the green color, I don't reduce it there because there is no green here guys. You can just go straight to the blue color guys. Well, in the blue color, I'll reduce the saturation by around -88 Here guys, I think that's enough. Then here is the blue color, the dark blue color here. I'll also reduce guys, because basically in this photo there is no blue color guys. I'm going to reduce it to around -65 Well, for the purple color here, because there really isn't any purple in the photo, I'm going to reduce the purple color by around -100 guys. Just make it left the line until it full guys. Then for the pink here, because there's no pink color, I'll make it full to -100 guys. If you finished, you can immediately click. Done well, for this image in the color menu. I think that's enough. You can immediately click, then you can immediately move to another menu. Well, here I'll move to the Efax guys. Well, in the ex menu guys, you can just increase the texture. What is the texture? Texture is the hardness of the texture. In your photo, for example, in this part of the cake or in the lines of this cake, that is the level of texture here. The cake, cream has twists and turns, that's part of the texture guys. Well, I'm going to increase the texture so that it goes up to plus 63. Okay. Then here there is clarity. Clarity doesn't need to be set. Then here there is the dehaze. Well here I'll add the Hayes guys. Well, more or less, I'll add the de Hayes to plus 34. Then here there is also a get. Well, in the net section, it will focus on the center of your photo but only affects the edges. Well, I'm going to make the fined around minus seven guys. Well, if you finished, I'll reduce the midpoint guys. Why? Because I want to make the fined not too visible on the H guys. I'm going to raise the midpoint. The midpoint is from the middle. It will cost the midpoint wider. The fined that I gave earlier has slightly more effect. Well, in the roundness, I just make it right align guys. The feathers are also right aligned for this photo guys. Well, for the highlight grain, you don't need to adjust it. That's it guys. Your photo is actually good guys. You can see this is the before and after if your pictures can look more textured, sharper, and also not blurry. Actually to use the features that are free in Dob light room guys, you've been able to get photos like this guys. Nice, sharp textured, and also neat guys. However, if you use pad or subscribe AOB lit room here, you can get a feature called the masking Guys. Well, in the masking feature you can adjust the parts that you only choose. For example, only the cake or the hands or the background. Well, okay guys, for example, here you can directly click at. Then here there are various menus. Guys, I'm going to give an example of a radial gradient. Then I'll just on the cake part. In this part so that the main focus is still on the cake guys around the cake. It looks slightly blurry guys. Well, here I'll change it guys. I'll select the others which are outside. Well, it's seen in the red part. This is the part that was selected. Guys, you can go directly to the Details menu. Well, here I'll reduce the sharpness to around -57 Well, okay then guys, you can adjust it here. Well, the difference is you can see the area of the kick is sharper than the part that we have selected. We've reduced the sharpness. Well, that is the function of the masking guys here. I'll change some of the other masking features here. I'll add the masking four linear gradient guys. Well here I'll change at the bottom of the guys. Okay, here guys. You can adjust the slope and width as you like guys. Well, in the red part, this is the part that was selected. The red part is the part we're going to change guys below here. I'll reduce the shadow to 100. In the light menu guys, well, so that it looks a bit better and also the exposure is not too over. Okay, We can click the thick right away. Then we add another here, a linear gradient at the top guys, which is the site where the lighting is located. Guys here, I'm going to make it big. Then I'll adjust it a bit here guys. Then we'll go into the light menu again. Then we'll reduce the exposure to about this guys. Why did I reduce the exposure at the top? Because at the top it is where the light comes into our picture or into our frame Guys, I'm going to reduce it so that at the top of it looks darker. That's it guys. Well, here I'll adjust the position a bit. Okay. Well, the masking part is the part that you can actually get when you subscribe to Dob light room guys. You can also brush which part you really want to select here. I'll brush the chopping board part of the kick here. I'll brush on the kick part so that the chopping board is slightly selected. Well, in the red part, this is indeed the object that was selected guys. Well, I'm going to adjust the color here for the saturation. I'll reduce it because it's really annoying to see the color here. I'll reduce it to around -39 Click. Okay, well that's part of the brush in the masking menu guys. Well here I'm going to brush some objects like the hands here guys. Then I'll adjust the saturation again in the color section to reduce it so that it looks like his hands are a bit the same color as the picture with the dark mood tone, which we use as the theme of our picture here guys, here, I'll also reduce the temperature so that the colors are not too warm guys, well, I'll reduce it to about this much. Well, if you finished, just click Okay. 10. Project 1: Sharpen Your FOod with Lightroom !: Then guys here, I'll also brush on the assistant part here because I think this object is to warm guys, I'll reduce the warmth from this assistant shirt. Well, the trick is we brush first, then I selected, then I'll make the temperature look a bit cooler here, guys. Well, for the smoke guys here, the smoke looks warmer too. I'll be masking using a brush here guys. If it's already brushed, then we go to the color menu. Then we reduce the temperature to around -29 Then we also reduce the tin here guys until you think it's right, then I'll reduce the saturation here guys to -18 more or less. Well, if you think it's still lacking guys, you can just use masking here in the parts that still look warm. Okay, here I'll brush on the parts that I think are still warm and don't match the tone color of our dark mood Theme guys. Okay, then we go to the color, then we go to the temperature. We'll reduce the temperature here again to around -20 Here, I use -29 Okay. Then we'll see if anything is still warm. It turns out that here guys, I'll add the brush here, guys. Well, I added the brush and then we went to the color. Then we reduced the temperature again, guys. Okay, well here I'll repeat the brush again. Well, here I keep repeating the brush guys, in parts that I think still don't match with the tone color of our image guys. Okay, well in this part, guys, it looks brighter than the other parts. I'll use the masking again, guys. We brush again the right part of the image, guys. Well, if you finished with the masking, then we'll go to the light menu. Then we first reduce the shadow until it's stuck, guys. Well, to make it look better. Well, okay, until all of the settings, our pictures are like this guys better than the raw ones, right? Well, here I notice there are the highlights. Indeed it is. The annoying guys two over. I'll reduce them first by using a brush. We go to the masking menu. Again, let's brush the part that I think the highlights is still over, guys, it's on the cake. Let's just go to the light menu. Then we reduce the highlights. The highlight is part of the reflection of light from our lamp. Well, if we reduce it, the picture is a bit better guys, then here I'm going to reduce the shadows, part of the background of our photo again. Well, the method is like the one we used earlier. Just use the masking. Then we brush, then we use slight menu. Then we use the shadows here. We'll add the shadows to make it more visible. Okay, so it will not be too dark. Well here guys, I also see the exposure is also a bit too, Over here at the bottom. I'll also use the masking using a brush guys, we select first at the bottom of this. Okay, then let's go to the light menu. Well then I'll reduce the exposure first to around -0.60 guys. Well, okay then guys. For this part of the hand, it does look warmer guys, it's more reddish. I'll reduce the temperature here so that the hand looks more the same as our color theme. We're going to go into the masking menu. Then we'll brush again, guys, we add a brush, then we brush here. If we go to the color menu, then we first reduce the temperature until it matches. Then we add the saturation to make it more colorful, not just dish well, okay, that's it then here for the finishing guys. I'll select all parts except the kick to reduce the shadows from the image. To make it darker guys here I'll select it using a brush in the masking menu guys. Okay, then let's go to the light menu Here guys. We go to the shadows and then we reduce the shadows to -59 guys. Okay, then we also add the white part guys, so that it's not too over exposed but a bit brighter guys, so that the color is more beautiful guys. Okay, well, okay guys. Well, for the blacks, I'll add a bit here. I add plus one. Okay. Then guys, for the color menu, we'll change the color here. Guys, for the previous masking, it's still the ones that we use guys the previous masking except the kick, well, we reduce the saturation to minus third guys. Okay guys, if everything is done we can just add more masking here guys. I'll use the radial gradient here to make it easier to select guys. Then I'll just choose the kick part. Okay, I'm going to choose the cakes part so that the whole of cakes are selected, guys. Well, then we go to the details guys. We'll add the sharpness guys. The sharpness of the kick will be added around plus 30 so that the kick part looks sharper. And better guys for the effect menu here. I'll also add another that is the texture guys so that the texture of the kick looks more solid. And also be until he guys, this is the result of the image that we've edited during this video. Guys, if you want to see the before, you can just press the picture guys. Just press it for a few seconds. Then you'll see the before. Here is the before the guys. If you release it guys, you can immediately see the after. This is the before image, that is still raw guys. Then we release. This is after image that we've edited guys. If we have edited everything guys following the steps above, just click on the share. I can here guys, you can directly export to camera role so that the photos can go directly to your gallery. Well, maybe that's all for the tutorial in this first video. Let's go straight to the next video. Thank you. 11. Project 2 : Choose the Right Props & Compose !: Okay guys, Welcome to this section. In this section I will give some tips for you. This is the preparation part. We are ready to shoot the next picture and then the first one I will explain to you above the background here we use the wood, the ground. Actually, the first time I purchased this one visits brighter breath, I decided to begin using the niche to make it darker so it will be more suitable for the dogma. And then on the, and I don't think I'll be gone here. I use the blackboard and the next I will explain to you about all off props that we use in this section, different from the frame reshoot before the food, we should before half the front area asked the face of the foot. But this one, the face of our foot, is on the top of a hill. So the lighting that need for this one is different. And I'll show you how we position our lightning and Mx section. I will give some tips for you. Have you ever felt depth? You have already placed all of the crops year here and there. You'll place all the props. If you feel like I still don't get what I want or you feel that my friend is already full of many things, but why? It still looks so simple? One question you have to ask when you face the situation like that is how many level have you already placed in your picture? Level means how many steps you have already sat in your prompts like this one is the first level and this black chopping board is the second level, and then the cape is the third level. And then I also decided to put man Me hoping shear. So to make it higher, I consider this one is the fourth level in this frame, I decide to choose the prop, the color is slightly similar to the background, so the attention is 100% to our cake. Yeah, okay, So there's four level in this area and then also you can consider to the leveling in the surrounding. Ok. So in the back area, I choose this chopping board to make the leveling, and then I'll place the small baskets here, so wonderful to level, third level and then form the chopping block. I am half many shapes of the small chopping board like this. Usually I invest the chopping board that the size is not more than 25 centimeter because I consider that if the chopping board is more than 2570 million, it is too large. So I made sure that I have this small one and then I'll put the backlight this to make sure that the leveling is higher. You can have many kinds of chopping board, but if you spank them into the level, it will make your frame more interesting. Okay, so in the front area, or we'll place this wooden chopping board is the first level, and then the black jumping board is the second level. And all of the items on the top of the blade chopping board is the third level, okay? So it will add complexity in your frame, but it's still a metro. And then I also plan some range in my backyard so I can use it whenever I want. Okay. There's some tips. If you want to pick green leaf in your backyard, you can choose the one barrier still bright green instead of the dark green because the dark green leaf is since either to hold. And then the color is not that interesting. This one is quiet, right? So I chose this one. And then we also have closed year since the color is still green and then it also dark, so it's still safe to use. Okay, yeah, that is all of the settings here and then add the one thing you have to remember I repeated again is about leveling. If you are confused, how to improve your frame, then maybe you can start to count how many left while you have in your frame. Okay, that's all done. I will see you in the next section. 12. Project 2 : Light Your Food !: All right guys. We have already do the setup and then I will explain to you about the lighting position for your information. I'll take from here to there. And then we only use one like thing for this setup. And the lighting position is from right corner there. Okay, we only use one thing, our move this 1 first so you can see the lighting position, okay, so delighting face that athlete, you our book there, the distance between our product virtue, the lighting, is about one meter and then the distance between the lighting here to the food is also one meter. Then the Hague different between the food and the lighting? Yes. About like 60 centimeter. Okay. And then I'll explain to you where I put our live few, Sir, the distance between our liking to our diffuser is about 30 centimeters. Yeah, that's how we set for this scene. And then because this corner is too bright, output the blocking here, so to make the corner of our background is darker. This time I put the lighting in the right corner because I want to make the more three dimensional effect in our codec here because the phase of their food is on the top here. Okay, so if I want to maximize the pet on the top of our book, then the best lighting position is on the right corner or the left corner. So it's quite different between the first section because the first section, the face of that is in the front, that this one, the face on the top. So I suggest the backlighting is the one that will maximize the texture on the top of our cake because on the palm of our kids are there so many texture and shade care. So it's a waste if I put the light on the right. But you can also try if you want to take from the right and you want to compare the result with the lighting from the right corner. But this time I will take only a right corner, so we'll see the results, how the lighting position, we'll make this, it become more three-dimensional. The power of the lighting here is one per 16. So actually since you are using only one light thing, you can modify the lighting power. But this time I will start with one per 16 because my lighting is slide powerful. Okay, and then I'll explain one more about the background here. So if you see here, I have the black background here, but if you don't have the background this large, you don't have to worry, you just need a board. And then you can also by the black clothes and then cover it with the black Hello. It's just the same. Okay. Please make sure you buy the cloth that is map instead of the glossy one. Then instead of putting the background like this, if I put it like this, then delighting will come through here and it will be brighter. Okay, so I teal background like this to make sure that guest last light come through here so it will become darker. And this setup, I will ask my assistant also two right here and then we will take the motion shot also. Okay. Yeah. That's how I said the lighting. And let's move to the next section. 13. Project 2 : Adjust Your Camera !: Okay guys, We have already explained about the writing position and then this time I will explain to you about our cameras having here the cameras, I think he is slightly the same with this photo session before the first one, I have to make sure that my shutter speed is one per 125 because I can help. I don't use any tripod. Actually, if you are shooting commercial chart, I recommend you use the tripod birth. If you want to get multiple images, get a bunch image. Usually I can't help because if I do handheld, I can change portrait, landscape and all the angles very quickly. Okay? And then the second one, I have to make sure the ISO is the smallest number because I want to make sure the quality is high, okay, so I use the 100 ISO and then for the f-number or the aperture are we'll start with for the white balance, I will send the Kelvin and the counting is still the same, 5,500. Yeah, that's my camera settings here. And then let's move to the next section. 14. Project 2 : Prepare Your Food & Shoot !: Okay guys, I already have our system here and then lighting position is still the same. And then we'll do the motion like this and we will put the icing you read here and make sure that I think will drop through the toppings of our gate. But you have two choices. Do you want to make sure the foot, this animal, then you can put the icing sugar here. But if you don't expect you at the fourth pen, you can use the flower because the flower is a thicker than the flower will drop slowly. And I said You got to really drop faster, okay? If you use the ice issue gotta you have to make sure while you're checking this one, you don't want to shake harder, okay, because it will drop very quickly. Or alternative, you can use flour but you don't drop on the top of the cake, but you can also drop behind the cape. You also get the motion, but you don't destroy your boot here. Okay. Then you have to pay attention here. Yes. When the lighting from year, there will be a highlight over here. You want to make sure that the background of this drop on the dark area. We don't want to drop on the highlight area here because it won't be pretty stable. That's how we set up our scene lighting here. And then let's move to the next section. It. 15. Project 2 : The Result: Okay guys, we have already done our work for those youth. And then I'll show you the pictures, same as before. I suggest you to take many of them and you can take the close-up one and then you overtake the further one. And portrait landscape and higher and low angle. Okay, here I show you the alternative of the picture. We doubt the pellet and the pellet. Then here I'll show you the before and after editing. Then if you guys curious about how the editing process, then I'll explain to you step-by-step in the next section. See you. 16. Project 2: Edit Your Food with Lightroom !: Well, okay guys, we've entered the next foot photo, guys, in this photo guys, we'll repeat the step by step editing that we've seen before Guys, for this foot photo, I'll crop first guys which part of the photo I'll choose here. I'll choose custom because I won't be inserting a face image from our assistant. Okay, if it's neatly cut, we can just click the tick. Then guys will adjust the lighting guys. Well, in the lighting, I'll reduce the highlights directly. Guys, we don't have to adjust exposure and contrast to this photo because I think it's just right now for the highlight. We'll adjust it here, guys, we reduced the highlight to -40 maybe. Then the shadows here. I'll add for the shadows here, I'll add around plus 60 guys. Then here are the white guys. The white is actually the same as the exposure, but I want to change the brightness not completely. I'll add the white here around plus 60 guys. I also don't want to overdo it here. Well, for the black here, because the background we use is black and the person in this photo also wears black clothes. I'm going to reduce it a little bit to make it look blacker. I'll just reduce it a bit around minus five guys. Then guys, we move to the color menu. Well, for the color, the initial settings are like this guys, well, but we're going to press the color. Then we change the color which is red from this image. We'll reduce the saturation first guys until we get to -40 I think that's enough. Then we immediately move to the blue color here. I'll reduce the saturation of the blue color so that the blue color isn't too blue either. Well here I'll reduce it to minus seven. Okay, well then for the purple color indeed, because in this photo there is no purple color. We can immediately make all the saturation just left a line -100 guys because we really don't want the purple color excess in our image. Well, for the pink color, we'll just make it left a line guys. Then we click. Do we go directly to the Evan guys in the Evac menu? I'll add the texture to plus 50. Why? Because I want the texture of this image to be rich with texture guys. Well, for the clarity it is not sap that the haze doesn't have to either. We'll reduce the vignette by around -20 so that the picture tells a bit more of a story. Which shadows on the top side, on the corners guys? Well, to adjust the vignette guys, we'll also adjust the midpoint so that the get is not too on the edge but spread out. Well, I'll reduce the midpoint around the number 44 guys. Well, if it's done guys, actually for this picture, the editing process is already finished. That's all guys. Why? Because if we look at the before and after image, it has changed a lot. And this is already pretty good, nice image guys that's only using menus that are free and have been obtained without a subscription to premium bit room guys. However, guys for those of you who have premium lit room here, you can just use the masking menu guys. Well, in the masking menu, you can directly choose by brushing the part that you really want to change here. I want to change the oranges Guys change the color of this orange because I think the color is a bit too over here. I'll first reduce the temperature to around -13 maybe. Then the thin, I'll change it to left the line, we'll change everything to -100 guys, if it's done we'll just click the thick right away. Then guys, you can just select the brush here. I'll select the objects that I'll change here. Guys, just brush it right away. Brushing is like painting guys, guys, you don't have to worry if you think this is difficult. Not at all, guys. It's easy, trust me. Well, if I've selected it guys, I'll adjust the color here in the color menu guys. Well, here I'll adjust the saturation guys. Around -50 guys. Well, for the color is enough. Let's move to the effect menu guys. In the effect menu, I'll add the texture from the image that we've selected so that the texture is richer. The texture is richer and fuller. Okay, well if the effect is already done, we can immediately click the T. Well, here it turns out that there is an object that we accidentally selected guys. The trick is you can just delete it. We click on the masking part here, then click on the bottom. Then we select Erasor guys. Well, we can just delete the part that we accidentally selected during the masking selection guys. Well, the colors are even better and also not as selected as before. Okay guys, if it's done we can immediately click the tick. Then guys, here I'll use the masking again in the photo assistant part. Guys, we are using another brush guys. Well, here I'll use the masking in this part, guys, in the shadows of assistant or human objects. In this photo, guys. Well, I select this part, the guys, I'll add the lighting. I add the shadows in the lighting menu. I added the shadows so it doesn't look darker, it's a bit bright. Well, for the exposure, I'll add a bit here guys. Okay, if it's done, just click the thick. Then guys, we'll select some objects that indeed look a bit disturbing in our picture. Guys, I'll change the object from the one I selected. That is the basket guys. I'll change the color Here are we just the temperature to around fist the tin to -50 maybe. Then for the saturation, I also reduce it again, guys to minus '40s maybe. Yeah, if we have selected it then we click the thick. Then guys here we'll still brush the person part, but on the whole guys, because I think here there are some textures or colors that are missed here guys, I will adjust it here guys. Then we'll change it in the light menu. We're going to change it, we'll add a bit more shadows, but since we've already added more, we'll just add a bit more here. About minus one guys. Then we change the color guys. Here. We change the temperature here to blue. We'll reduce it to minus three guys. Then guys, I also want this human object to be a bit sharp, the texture is a bit visible. I'll add the texture here, guys, around plus 70. If it's done, we immediately add the sharpness. We go into the sharpness part in the details. Men, you guys, the sharpness here, I will add, plus four guys. Well, if it's done we'll just click the tick. Then we use the masking again guys in the objects that are really detailed, guys, that is the orange cake object guys. Well, already use the masking on the orange part. Then I'll change the lighting here. In the shadow section, guys, I'll add about 48. Okay. Then we'll also change the color in the temperature part, we reduce it to minus six. Okay. As for the thin, I change it maybe a bit plus. Okay. It's just right. Then I'll add the noise guys. I'll add the noise in the Details menu around plus four. Okay guys, if it's done we can immediately click the tick. Well, here are some objects. There are two over on the highlights guys. Here, I'll brush first guys. Well, the highlight in the light menu. I'll reduce guys to around -59 maybe. Okay, if we finish, just click the thick. Well, it looks like the highlight is a bit less guys, it's not over right here guys. I'll select or brush the top of the person guys, especially on the hands, on the skin. Then on the top of the person guys, well for this person's part, I'll change the color, which is more precisely the saturation guys. We'll change the saturation to -24 Well I'll change it to 24 for the color guys. Well, I can immediately click the tick here. Then guys will change the color or the saturation on this person's clothes. Guys, we're asking again because I think it's a bit lacking in this part guys. Okay, I selected. Okay. Then we go to the color guys. We go to the saturation, we reduce it to -72 we click the tick. Well, if you finished guys, we've passed actually that's all a session that has changed your picture into better picture guys. This is the before image. You can just press on the image and then release it if you want to see the after image. This is before and this is after. The result is better, isn't it? This is just using Adubilat room guys. Actually guys, you don't need to use the masking. Just use the menu that I change here that is light color effects and also details. Maybe in some of your photos you can actually get the better pictures guys. Well, here if we have passed all the steps guys, you can directly click the shared logo above. Then guys elect export to camera role, then your pictures will immediately be in your gallery. Well, that's all for editing. Tutorial on the Food photos, guys, we'll move directly to the next foot. Thank you. 17. Project 3 : Choose the Right Props & Compose !: Okay guys, Welcome to the sanction. And in this section we want to prepare our next frame here. Here's the background. We use steel same as before where this background, but in this frame, I will take the 45 degree angle. Then our subject here is the beautiful desert here, yogurt, even if you have beautiful desert care. But if you only put it like this without know levelling, it will look inclusive ball. And sometimes it's quite confusing like I already put many things here and there. Why it's not pop out. Okay, So in this flame I decide to add more lovely. Okay, So I decided to use this topping board. I shouldn't be repaint it into a dark gray chopping board. And we use two to make sure it has more level. Okay, so I put two chopping board here, and then on the top of jumping book, instead of directly use this and here I want to that war level to make it breach of texture day. So I use this making, this making pepper, yeah, Stripe Brown. Actually, I don't want to use the white one because in our subject here there are so many white. If I choose white paper, I want this and we'll compete with this white paper. But if you choose brown paper, then it will be okay. Okay, so I put two brown baking paper here to add more texture and then I put it like this. So as you can see that after we add more leveling, it is reach texture. We can also modify it by placing the spoon here on the top of this chopping board. And I also prepare some texture or orange, the one that you have, the oblique and the one that doesn't have leaf at all, and the one that I have already built so many texture here. And then in the back area here, I also have the different kind of chopping more. We can also put the baking paper also to make it higher level. And then we can put many different types of the range on the bed side and on the front area of our foot here. So please make sure that you always count the level of your settings. And then in the next section, I will show you how we compose this one. This settings we want to use the golden triangle composition. I will explain the Golden Triangle area in the editing section to make sure that you can see the composition clearly. I will set up a sad thing and then I will introduce you delight things I think we use for this one. Okay, so let's do it. 18. Project 3 : Light Your Food !: Hey guys, Welcome to this section. In this section, I will explain to you exactly delighting position that we use for this frame. And this frame, we will take 45 degree angle and then we have a new technique. I will explain to you that is the blocking over here. I have an assistant to help me to hold this wooden block. Actually, we don't take this texture, a wooden block, but we use these wooden block to block the lighting. In the background here, there will be a nice gradation between dark to light. It will be very beautiful. I will show you in the result picture after this. And then here's the lighting position. We only use one lighting here and the power is still one per 16. Okay. So I'll explain to you the position here, the distance between the foot here to delight thing is above 90s and the method. And then the distance between the right thing and put this distance is also about my aunties and demand paper and the heck different between the background and the lighting is about 65 centimeter. And then we put our the fuser plenty five centimeter in front of our lighting to make sure that the lighting is more harsh to create the three-dimensional effects. On the top of our research here, the light thing for this one is the backlighting to make sure that pop off this desert is three-dimensional, we want to enhance the texture on the top of this dessert. Yeah, Because on the front of this, it is quite bright, so I don't have to worry if we don't have light in this area because that is quite bright. So the one that I want to enhance is on the top of the lightning so we use backlight. Okay. Yeah. That is how we sat middle, I think for the same. Okay. So see you in the next section. 19. Project 3 : Adjust the Camera & Shoot !: Okay. We've already seen this exhibit. I will show you the cameras have been here, actually new cameras. I think I use steel, almost the same. Again, my shutter speed is one per 125 and my ISO is Bill 100, but my aperture is 3.5 because I want you to make the back area here become more blurred. So I lowered the number. Then I will take one picture and I will show you why. This one will make your picture beautiful and more focused to the subject. The gradation between dark to bright, it will be beautiful. I wish you, you, I will take one picture first and then output you one for you. Here you go. Yes. As you can see in this picture, automatically focused in this area. And you can see beautiful gradation here, very dark to brighter. So that is why we block this area and you can see the picture automatically focus areas. Okay guys, in this section, I will explain to you about the golden triangle composition. Actually, efficient technique is not found while camera is found, because Golden Triangle technique already applied when the humankind do depending because it's quite the same. The frame is also rectangle like this. And then what is the golden triangle principle? This one. So for this frame, I followed the golden triangle composition. So the main area of the golden triangle is the main diagonal here. While practicing the golden triangle, you don't have to put the prompts all over the place, but the main area of the golden triangle is the main diagonal here. So I just put around the main area here. And then of interest area beside these main diagonal is the intersection between these two lines, which is this one. You can also put your point of interest of your subject within this dots, okay? But this time I only utilize the main diagonal here and I put our subject between the dots. 20. Project 3 : The Result !: It will go guys. We have just non-default those youth and we have done some angles, portrait and landscape close up and far away. I was showing you here the raw feature. And then here's the comparison between before and after we added the speaker. Then if you guys wanted to know the step-by-step how we edit the sphincter. Then let's go to the next section. I will explain to you step-by-step how we added this one. 21. Project 3: Edit Your Food with Lightroom !: Okay guys. Well, here I'll continue to give you tutorials on how to edit colors on dark mood themed images guys. As before, let's just go straight to it guys. Immediately adjust the lighting guys. Well, in this lighting menu, guys, you still add the exposure so that your pictures are brighter. Guys, remember that exposure will control the whole pictures. If you cite it too much, then your picture will be very bright. Guys like this picture. If you reduce it, then your picture will be darker. Well, here I'll just add a bit guys, more or less this much, guys plus 18 or 17. Well, for the contrast here, I'll not adjust it. Well, here are the highlights. The highlight is a reflection of the lighting guys. If you adjust the position from the top right corner, you can see the lighting will reach here. The reflections from this glass are highlights from the lights guys. For the highlights here, I'll reduce it to minus guys here. I'll reduce it about -80 maybe. Okay, Under the highlight, they're shadow guys. Shadow is the shadow part of the image that is not exposed to highlights or the lights, guys. Well, the shadow here, I'll also reduce it to -70 maybe. That's enough, guys. Okay then guys, under the shadows there is the wipe. Well, the difference with the exposure is that the white will adjust the brightness to, but not the whole picture. It's different from the previous exposure. Therefore, I'll give the brightness of white here to make it brighter. Guys, here I'm going to add about maybe 47. Maybe we here guys, It's time for the lighting session. We can immediately move to the color menu guys. Now for the color menu guys here I'll use the default settings guys. Well, here I use settings like this guys. Well, for this photo, I didn't set this color guys. For this one we use the default settings guys, the difference is guys in the color. You adjust the tin to plus eight because I think the tin here plus eight is enough guys, if you finished with the color, we can go directly to effect guys. Well, in the effect menu guys for the texture like the first photo, we'll add the texture guys that the texture of the oranges, the fruits and the leaves are more feasible here. I'll add the texture to around plus 69. Then for the clarity guys, I'll reduce it a bit so it doesn't interfere the here I don't reduce as the D, but for the vignette, I'll reduce it guys to around -30 Well, for the Fete, I'll set the midpoint. For the midpoint, I'll set it to around 46. I'll reduce it from the default setting guys. Now for the roundness for the thickness of the circle guys, you can just add it here so that the circle from your fnet is not too small and not too big here. I'll add up to plus 34. Then for the feather here, I'll also add it so that the feather of the finette matches guys. Well, okay guys, for the bottom here, I don't set it. Then we can immediately move again to the details menu. Guys, in the details menu, we can directly adjust the sharpening until it is very sharp. For these photo guys, I'll add about 100 guys. 125 might be appropriate. Well, for the radius, I think it's enough here. Then I also don't change the details. However, for the masking, I'll add guys so that the sharpness of your photos looks softer. Because if you don't use the masking, the sharpness will be too sharp guys. It's not too good to produce an image like this. I'm going to add the masking to around AT maybe guys the pictures look sharper but not too broken because if we adjust the sharpening, sometimes the picture will look cracked or looks like a lot of ends. Well, I don't want that to happen. So I'm going to add the masking here. I'll adjust the bottom again. There is such a thing called the noise reduction guys. The noise reduction will change the noise to make the image look sweeter. I'll add the noise reduction here. It's not too cracked and there aren't too many ends from your image guys, if you finished there is something called color noise reduction. And others guys, but I didn't adjust it at all guys because what I said is only up to the noise reduction. Okay. If it's done, the details have been completed. Actually guys, the step by step that we went through earlier were finished guys. If you can see the before then you can see the after the photo result is indeed become the better photo guys. We only uses four settings which are free for adublitmusers who are not paid or not subscribed guys. However, if you do subscribe or have already subscribed Dil room, you can just use the masking menu here. Guys, like the first photo we can just make or select the masking first guys here. I'll use the masking in the shadows, guys in the shadows that are not affected by our lighting. Then we'll adjust the light. I'll adjust the exposure guys here so it's not too dark. Well, here I'll add the exposure of around 1.16 Okay. Then here I'll add the shadows to the right guys. Well, for the highlights guys, it doesn't need to be arranged. The white also doesn't need to be adjusted because I think that's enough. Guys, you can click the tick right away. Then guys you can choose which image you'll choose. Well, here I'll add another masking guys, brush again on the orange part because I think this orange is a bit too over the highlight guys. Well here I'll set the highlight again. Well, here I'll reduce the highlight around -80 Okay, if it's done we'll use the masking again. Then we add more guys. We then we go to the lighting. Then we reduce the highlights here guys, around -92 guys. Then you can immediately reduce the exposure again, because in my opinion, the part that I have selected is a bit over guys. Okay, I click the tick, then we use the masking again guys. We add more guys in this part, guys. Then we reduce it because I think that part is a bit too bright guys. I think that's not really proper guys. Okay, I reduce the exposure. Then here I'll select the main part of the picture which is the glass guys. The contents guys. Well, here I'll mask the contents first guys. Then we set the light part guys, we increase the exposure to around plus 0.94, Then we add the shadows here plus 100. Make it right a line until it's stop. Okay then guys, if it's done we can click the tick guys. Apart from brushes, I'll use radial gradient guys here. You can just drag and then select which part you want to select. Here, I'll select the glass part. I change the sharpness of this object that when you see this picture, your eyes will immediately focus on the main object guys, not the objects that are next to it now, just go straight. If you've selected the red color, you can go directly to the effect. Then guys, you can add the texture here. I'll make it right a line so that the texture is more striking, guys. Okay, then we go to the details guys. In the details I'll adjust the sharpness as well guys. Well, I'll add the sharpness until it right the line guys. Well, if you finish you can immediately click the tick. Well, that's all the editing steps for this picture guys. Pretty simple, right guys? Easy enough. We only edited some of the menus guys, then you can actually save them right away. This is the before guys. We can just press it for the picture. If indeed we want to see the before image, then we release it. If we want to see the after image, this is before and also this is after. If you finished guys, we can directly click the share icon, then we can directly export to camera roll guys. We are waiting for the rendering guys. Okay, if you finished you can immediately see the edited image in your own gallery. Well, that's an editing tutorial for the second foot guys, we immediately move to the next foot. Thank you. 22. Project 4 : Choose the Right Props & Compose ! !: Guys, welcome. In this section. In this section we are in the preparation part, so I'll explain to you about the props and background we use in this setting. This time we will pay a flat lay or top angle for this scene. And I will explain to you exactly how we set this up. The first one is the background. Actually we paint this background by ourselves. It's quite easy and you will be surprised if you try to pay in your own background because this dark background, we easily paint it and it won't waste too much time if we just combine two color, yeah, brighter gray and darker gray. And we combine the two colors. And we've paid to this background, and we fixed that to color into this background like this. This is just ordinary wooden board like this. Yeah, I suggest you to choose the golf frame if you wanted to print by yourself, actually, breathe is in both. You feel that you fail to pain this one, this brings me to the game. Okay, So there's no room for error because Feel free to explore it. Yeah, this is one of the big round and then I'll explain to you about the desert. We will, this is the very beautiful desert and we put the blueberry jam and blueberry on the top of the desert to make sure that the surgeon has popped out, reused that darker plate. Yeah. We use the darker plate like this. And then remember, we always have choice just to leave it like this. We can also add another light bulb in our setup. So in this one, I choose to add another level, one level, and then on the path often report I add one more level. Okay, so that is two laughable, this one. And then I also use the rule of, so it is more beautiful to place three plate rather than only two plate. And then I add one more slice in the plate. And then also remember to add more level. Okay, I put the larger plate on the first level and the second level I put the smaller plate on the top. And then for the third level, I also use the small four in our setup here. That is three-level in this blade in the setup and also another three-level year actually below displayed, we will place dark cloth like this. No, it one more level in our setup. Okay, So this is the level one and then it become the level two, and this one becomes a level three and this one become the level for. If you're stuck doing the setup, it is very important to remember how many level already Xs in your frame. And then an under rocks as the blueberry, actually the blueberries dark. And then we can also use this one to add the texture in the background. And also, I really like the props like this, this one made from blast and because it is see-through. So this, if you're asked for office, really easy to use and you can use this kind of prompts in any kind of big drug. Yeah, you can use it in bright background, Dartmouth. And also you can use it in the wooden background, color background. So this kind of glass props I purchased the most and then I will always choose the smaller one. I think this is just like six to eight centimeter for the diameter. Then we put the blueberry jam insight and also at another level. So we add it spoon at more or less row and add more complexity in offering. But as you can see, we doesn't add any more color in this setup, so it still make our food more focus. We also add this white mark here. We add some flower also in the frame business, the baby breath flower. I really liked this one because I can use this flower while it's fresh. And also you can use this flower while it's dry. So this is one of my favorite went, I want to add more texture in the frame. And we also use this chair in our setup and then at another level below our background here. So one level below is the chair and then one level below the chair is the floor. It at more depth in our frame, as you can see in the floor. We also put the dark big gun on the floor. But if you don't have the dark board on the floor, you can also use the black cloth like this. Actually Blake glove like this is pretty cheap and you can find anywhere in the marketplace. So just write the larger one and then just put on the floor to cover the white area of the floor, you are fully setup. So that's how we set our frame. And then in the next section, I will set this back down. And in our explain to you about, hey guys, in this competition, we will do deleting lines composition. What is leading lines? Leading lines is the condition when we are considering the fewer eyes to move like this. Okay, so I purposefully set the flower here. It would have direct the viewer's eye from here to our foot here, and then up to here. So it seems like Atlanta, okay. It is called leading lines, so we don't have to put it drops in all over place. Just put in the area where we want you to guide the viewer's eye. You can also use the leading lines like this, even if you are shooting in the 45 degree or two on the flat lay angle like this, back toward the leading lines. I prefer using the flat lay on top and go like this. 23. Project 4 : Light Your Food !: Okay guys, Welcome to this section. In this section, I will explain to you about the writing because in this frame root take the top angle, then I will explain to you the lighting position to maximize the texture while you are shooting up angle like this. Okay, outtake from here. The thing is over here. If the distance between our book here, our center of the book to delighting this distance is about 1.1 meter. And then from the center to the life thing is about like 45 centimeter. And the hate of delighting from our big gunk here is 4570 method. Then the distance between our lighting here to the diffuser is about Light. Company five fundamentals. The power of the lightning is still the same. We use the lighting one or 16 is power. This position. The reason why the lighting is not too high is because with the lighting over here, we still won the shared go under texture in our friend because in this foot very rich and very full octet, we want to maximize the texture of this book because if we accept the lighting too high, it will make the texture warmed up as much as if we set the lighting lower a little bit. Okay. Yes, The thing is that simple. Okay. So I'll see you in the next section. 24. Project 4 : Adjust the Camera & Shoot !: Hey guys, in this section I will explain to you about the camera setting I used for this scene. And do you believe that I still use the same cameras? I think asking before, my shallow speed is one per 125 and then my ISO is still 100 and my aperture is still a 4. And then my kelvin or my white balance is filled Kelvin 5,500. Okay? But the only difference is this time because I wanted to shoot the top angle, then I'll use the Canon 15 millimeter. You have different lenses. It's completely okay. But if you haven't, I suggest using 15 millimeter because it minimizes the distortion in your shoot up to the chair and then pay for those. 25. Project 4 : The Result: Okay guys, just know we have to do the photo shoots and then I will show you the results. So here's the preview of the row picture. Then I will show you the comparison before and after edited. And here you go. You guys curious how we added this one in the next section out here we go step by step, how to edit it in Lightroom, how to enhance the texture and also get the right move toward this one in the next section. 26. Project 4 : Edit Your Food with Lightroom !: Okay. Hello guys. So we've come to the next foot, guys. Well, in this foot we take it from the top angle from above guys. That's why the photo is a bit tilted guys. So let's just crop the pictures, guys. We then adjust the picture so that the picture is straight guys. Okay. First let's arrange the picture so that they are straight. Well, if it feels like the image is straight, we can immediately click. Okay. So to be the benchmark guys, we can see straight lines on the edges guys. Now if the line is already straight, we can immediately click. Okay, well then we just click on the light menu. Well, we'll set the exposure here, guys. Well, for the exposure here, I'll add a bit guys, about plus 0.20 Well, for the high light, we make it left the line until it's full. Then we add the shadows to plus four. Yeah, that's enough guys. The difference with the exposure a liter is for the white, will increase it a bit, guys, that the brightness of your picture is just right without changing all the brightness of your picture. Well, for the color guys here, we can choose a shot. Then the temperature is the default guys, then the tin is also the default guys. Now for the color here, for the red color guys, we can immediately change the hue. We reduce it to -78 Then for the saturation, we also reduce it guys, because here there is no red color, right? Let's just reduce the red color a bit. Then for the orange color, we also reduce the saturation because the cake is a bit yellow to orange guys, we reduce the orange color so that the yellow color is a bit more flashy. Well, for the saturation of the yellow color, we'll reduce it a bit. Let's just move to blue here. We add the saturation to five, then we reduce the luminance to nine. Well, for the purple color, which we usually reduce, but for the photo I didn't reduce guys, the pink color, two guys because in this picture the blueberry has a little bit of purple and pink. I'll highlight the color of the image. Well, if you finished we can immediately click done. As for color, We're done guys. We can go straight to effect. Let's add the get right away guys, for the texture, you don't need to change it because I think it's enough. We make the get -12 guys around 16, 13 is also okay for the midpoint, we change it to two guys, it's a bit left line but not left line. We change the midpoint to two for the roundness, we make it right a line plus 98. Okay, That's enough. Also the feather two guys. Well those are the settings for the effect guys. We immediately move to the details. New guys for the details, we'll add the sharpening guys here. 123 is enough if the masking makes the image have a lot of ends guys, we'll change the masking. Add up to 80. Maybe 83 is enough. Well, that's for the details guys. Well here because the image is tilted and we indeed take it from the top angle, we'll change the geometry. Well, we'll change the horizontal position, guys. For the horizontal position here, I'll add minus ten, maybe. Now for the vertical, I'll add about plus five so that the image looks more matches with the frame. Well, that is the function of geomet three guys. Well, for the masking guys here, we'll use a brush again. We'll brush the cake guys in the part of the blueberry precisely which is a bit dark. Well, we'll change the light guys for the exposure, we can add about 2.3 maybe. Then for the shadows, we'll add it to 100 to make it look brighter guys. Well, I think the exposure is a bit too much, so I have to reduce it a bit. Okay, now I'm going to add the texture to the main objects that people will see when they see this image. I'll select the cake part guys, then we'll add the texture in effect menu around the '30s, maybe I'll reduce the hays a little bit. Maybe minus one of K guys. Then I'll use the masking again guys in the cake part again guys, but this time I'll add the sharpness guys. The sharpness of the cake, we can go straight to the details. We add the sharpness to around 30 or 50 maybe. Okay, 50 is enough, the sharpness is right. Guys we click okay. Then guys, here, because I really want to show the bench object here, but it's too dark here, so I'll use the masking for these edges. First guys, using a brush, wait a minute. Okay, let's brush first. We go to the lighting, then we select the high light file, and then we make it stuck to write a line so that it is more feasible and not to art. We click okay. Well, here I change the small details that are not really feasible. Guys, I'll use the masking here in the parts that I really need to change in the sight guys, if there are some parts that are already selected, we can delete them. Okay, let's go to the lighting then. We add the exposure guys. Well, in the masking part only the selected part is changed guys. Well, if you finished here, we'll change the shadows guys. We reduce it to -50 Maybe we brighten it using the white. We add the white to plus '70s, maybe -77 Well, okay, not too much. We can just click. Okay. Finally I'll add the shadows in this Blueberry detail area guys, because it's too annoying, I think I'm going to add the shadows. We make the left align for the shadows. Okay, that's the editing part for this picture guys. This is the before then. This is the after after editing, the image becomes sharper the more the color comes out. Guys, it's better to look at. Also guys, if you don't subscribe to adobilit room guys you don't have to worry because guys you can just follow the step by step menu which is available in DB lit room which is still free. Guys, if you have followed the tutorial guys, you can directly click the share icon in IPtroom guys, you can directly select Export to camera roll to set the image to your gallery. We are waiting for the rendering. Okay. If it's done, that's the end of the editing session or editing tutorial for the four foot photos guys. Thank you. 27. Project 5 : Choose the Right Props & Compose !: Hey guys, in this section, I will explain to you again about the preparation of our next frame. We have a beautiful cake here. This time I have to hero in one image again. For this one, I have one. Thanks. If you want to, in fact, a plate for food photography, I suggest you can, in fact many kinds of plate with neutral color. First, white, gray and dark gray and black. Then the second one, I suggest you to impress on small plates like this. Usually I purchased many plates. There is under 25 centimeter. The one that I purchased the most is between 20th and the methods of 25 centimeter for the plate. Actually small plates will make your foot looks larger. And then instead of like placing like this, okay, we will use the leveling technique also for this frame. I put three chopping board here to level up our hook here like this. And then in the back area, we will show this cake. Then I will also use this one. The props here, the clothes for the leveling also, I will put it here. We'll make it drop like this to make an aggregate level below the background. Yes, that's how we will set our frame year. Most of the crops year will be dark. I also apparently small wooden ball here. Actually business wouldn't paint it into dark gray. Okay. Actually, if you put this in bone, when I found a beautiful wooden go like this, I will buy like mine of them, three of them are painted and all just use the wood texture. Another three, I will paint it into white. Another tree I will paint it into black. Brin. One item I can get tricolor. And on top of them, I will place the blueberry and then poured the levelling. I will use this small fork here. How we will set our frame. Yeah, and then I will also explain to you the golden triangle composition we use in this frame. So I will see you in the next section. 28. Project 5 : Light Your Food !: Okay guys, Welcome to this section. In this section I will explain to you exactly what is the position of our lighting here. This time, it's quite interesting because we used to like them, because we used the backlighting there to make sure that the texture of the pulp area of our food is well exposed and three-dimensional. This top area is the backlight thinks job. Okay? And then there's also this in Korea, if we only use one light thing, this area will be very dark. That's why we use another lighting here. Okay. So this is the site lighting that is the backlighting. The dope for this side lighting is to light up this area and the front area of our foot. And then I will explain to you about the position of the lighting. The distance between here to delight thing there is about like one meter. The distance between the foot here to delighting is about 1.1 meter. And the Hague different between the background to the lighting is about my auntie Sunday method. Then for the backlight thing, we use stronger life. I usually use stronger light in the backlighting to make sure that texture is really good, I use products SK 400th for the backlight and born a sidelight. I use Google Docs and escape 200th. The power of the lightning is the same because the gods as K 400 is stronger, stronger than that one. But if you use the same type of the light thing may be like you use Google Docs, escaped 200 for two of the lighting, then you can double the power of this thing. For example, you can use one per eight for the backlight. And over there you can use one for 16. So backlight is more powerful than fight flight. That is what I suggest because the main job of the backlight is connection. The texture of the top area of our book is amazing. This time I decided not to use the diffuser because I want you to make the top of the area of the foot yes. Very harsh. But if you don't like it, you can also put the diffuser here on the front, maybe just pens and the method in front of this one. But this time I don't want to use the diffuser because I really liked and texture in this area. And then the position of the sidelight ping, the distance between the lightning here should have food there is about 50 centimeter. And then the hate the same width this could the hate of the lighting. Yeah, There is how I said the lighting and then I will see you in the next section. 29. Project 5 : Adjust Your Camera & Shoot !: Hi guys. In this section I will explain to you about the cameras and things, so don't get bored. When I explained about the cameras, I think because the shaft speed is still the same one per 125, and then the ISO is still 100. And then the number or the aperture this time is 5.6. So it is that's in both war setting up your lighting, do one you have to take care is the lighting position because the lighting position will define your patch journey most. And then this time I'll use the canon micro 100 millimeter while shooting this, I am planning to make a negative space. What is negative space? Negative space is an area where the user of this image can put PECS. So negative space is really important, especially if you want to post this picture directly to the Instagram, instagram phony maybe then you can directly put tax in this area because this area is quite empty and I also will take the negative space below here. Okay, so the text area and be in the opera here and under the foot here. That's the plan. And then let's move to the next infection. Guys, we have begun our picture here. Then I will show you the robbing. The comparison between before and after the editing. Left move to the editing section. I will show you step-by-step how we add it into this beautiful dark mode food photography. 30. Project 5: Edit Your Food with Lightroom !: Okay, hello guys. Well, this is the last video for the color editing session. Dark mood theme image in do blart room guys. Well now guys, we'll repeat the step by step editing that we've done in the previous videos guys. Well, I'll set the light directly here, guys. Well here I will set the highlight. I'll reduce the highlight by around -72 Then I'll set the white guys, I'll add it about. Plus '70s maybe guys. Well, if you're done that's enough for us to set it on the light menu guys. Well now we'll go to the color guys. For the color, we'll use custom here guys, the temperature is around 4,888 K guys, well I'll set the temperature around this guys. Then for the ten I will use plus eight. Then we go to the color guys. We click the color menu. We change the saturation in the orange color to minus nine guys. Then for the purple color here, I'll reduce the saturation. I'll just make it left the line guys until it's for the pink color. I'll also make it left the line for the saturation guys. Well, if you're done, just stop there guys for the color menu. Now we'll go to the effect menu. We changed the vignette to -30 guys, for the clarity, the texture, and the haze, you don't need to set it for this picture guys. We changed the midpoint to adjust the vignette guys. Well, here if the midpoint is already set, we'll adjust the roundness guys. Here, we add about 85 more enough guys for the feather. We'll add about 98 guys. So far that's actually enough. The pictures are better than the before image like this guys. See then this is the after image guys. Just use or change the three menu guys. You can already get pictures as good as the guys. However, if you have subscribed to add the black room which is paid for, you can use the menu called the Healing Brush Tools Guys. Well, in this menu you can touch up the part that you don't really want to show in your image. Guys were indeed there are some defective pictures guys in the image, guys like this, the background is peeling or torn. Well guys, you can just patch it using the healing brush tool. Well, to lower it you can click on this one guys, it can adjust the area of the healing brush tool guys. Well, here I'll have the smaller size. It's easy to edit guys. Well, here I can edit and overwrite the image using the healing brush tool guys. Your pictures are also better here. Okay guys, we're done for the healing brush tool guys. Well, this is the after image guys. The before image is like this. Then the after image, after we brush the image becomes like this. It's neither. And there are also a few patches on the piling object. Well now here I'll move to the masking menu, which is indeed available in Adobilar room which is paid for guys. Well here I'll add a brush to the kick object guys. I'll adjust the light here. I'll change the exposure. I'll increase it to 0.38 Okay, I'll also add the shadows, guys, I think this is enough. Then we add another masking here guys, we brush here, guys on the K. Then we set it again in the light menu. Guys here, I'll change the exposure to 0.85 Guys, the highlights here, I'll re used to minus eight. I'll fix the shadows to the right. For the white I added to plus 45. Okay, for that one it's finished, it's better. Right guys, then here I'll use the masking as a whole on the edges guys to reduce the exposure guys, because I think the exposure here is too bright and has shadows at the edges and also at the top. Okay, now we're going to change the exposure and reduce it to around 0.6 guys. Okay guys, then we'll darken the background on it guys by using the masking again, guys, we brush the top on this black background guys. We'll add the shadows to make it look more textured than the background guys to make it more visible. We'll also add the exposure here guys, to make the exposure or texture of our black background more visible guys, the dark mood is more visible. The texture guys, well now we'll do the masking again. But in the kick part here guys, we'll adjust the light here. We add the exposure above 0.21 Ok. Then we make the shadows right align. Well, if it's done we click okay. Then here too, I'll reduce the exposure of the object behind this because it is too flashy. I think we move to the light, then we change the exposure to 0.92. Guys will add something called the radial gradient guys. Here. I'll just select the kick guys, then we invert like this guys so that only the outer part is selected, the inside is only part of the kick. Okay. If we're done because the selected parts, the outside, we'll change the sharpness of the outside. Then we'll adjust the sharpness to around -53 Guys we'll click the thick. If it's done while then guys will add another masking to the front of this cake. Guys we select first if there is an object that has been selected, we can delete it immediately using the ser here. Then guys will change the shadows to right a line or plus 100. We'll add the exposure to 0.16 That's it guys. If we're done, we like the tick guys. Well, this is the before image and also this is the after image guys. Much different, right? This one is more focused on the cake, and this one is a lot dirtier, looks more blurry, looks like that the color doesn't come out. As for this one, it's a bit sharper and it's also better for the colors and the surrounding objects. Guy is much better than before. If you finish, you can directly click the share icon. Okay guys, that's the end of the editing session for this fifth foot photo, guys, for our last Foot on the Dark mood course, guys. Well, thank you for watching the videos from the initial editing session, guys. We'll see you next time, guys. Thank you. 31. See Ya !: Okay guys, finally, we aren't ugly and on our course, but actually this is the beginning of your journey. One bit for me as everybody, if you want to start doing the photos youth, and then you will feel stuck. You can also receive a game this course and then make sure that you do every little detail that I am already in this course. The difference between the professional food photographer and the one depth despises the food photography is the main ballpark or the psychology part. Because Italy, for me that have already taken food photography for, after seven years and for the first warriors, I take photography for almost every day until this stage. If you follow me to my portal shoe, you won't find me that I put a single shot. Everything is perfect. And then the battalion had done no there's no condition like this. Actually taught almost every single photo session. I drove away or I believe maybe my first picture, almost every single photo shoot. If you have just started it and then you take your first when the picture and you're still don't like it. You don't have to worry. Almost all ready for professional, in my opinion, will delete the most picture, maybe like the first blended minutes of while they are taking a picture. So you don't have the way. And then I'm so excited to see all the improvement you've got after joining this course. So if you have practice and you haven't image you want to share, please share with us. Again. I'm more than happy to connect with you all. I will see you again in the next course.
