1. Intro to Youtube SEO : Hello and welcome to this online course about YouTube SEO. On this course, I'm going to teach you how to do YouTube SEO for our clients. Clients who will have probably a YouTube channel, either a podcast channel, how to channel our vlogs. We can optimize their YouTube SEO practices so that they show up more in search in turn will increase subscribers and villi increase their views. This can be assisted with EIS process, which I have been doing for my clients since I started freelancing. Before I offered my services. On the freelancing world, I have been doing this practices in my own channels, Ruth Rama's and mommy Ruth and I found that really, really effective. And since then, I have offered this services to clients. And clients have been happy with it. You could charge for about $15 per video to twenty-five dollars per video. It really depends on location, your clients budget, and the need for a disservice. By the end of this course, you will have a big picture how YouTube SEO works and how can you make it effective for yourself or your clients? And as well as the specific little step-by-step process that you can do to make this happen. If you are ready, let's go ahead and start with the obvious. 2. What is YouTube SEO and tools to use : So for our first lesson, I will give you a big picture of what YouTube SEO is and what are the tools that are used to be able to do this service for my clients. First, let's talk about what is a YouTube SEO. Youtube SEO or YouTube search engine optimization, helps your video show up on search. And once the video shows up on search, then you have more chances for the video to be discovered, viewed, and watch by the audience. And once that happens, There's a different phases or steps where in the YouTube algorithm can suggest your video, two other videos that are on the same topic. And also they could push your video through the algorithm by showing up or by pushing your video on the channel pages or homepages of its viewers. Most of the time, I would need to explain to a client what we're doing here. It is not given them subs or views. When we do optimization, what happens is you're just giving the YouTube content to have the best chance of showing up on search. Best chance for your channel to show up on different search items that might be related to their video. And of course, the success of the video will ultimately be dependent on the channels consistency, quality of editing, quality of content, and the quality of storytelling. Just to set the right expectation to your clients, make sure that your role is clear and that you are not part of their creative process. Your part of the process would be post publication or after the video has been uploaded and marketing if they want to Islam. I'm gonna show you my screen wherein I'm going to show you the different tools that we use to do a YouTube SEO. So right here you will see I just have a simple Google sheet. It is the first thing that I set up when I do YouTube SEO for my clients, because on the sheet, I will, I will list down the number of videos that I did for the week. Their titles, the link to the video, and I usually add you the different teeth of scores. You'd have scores we can discuss later. So the first tool is Google sheet. The next tool that I want to show you is from click up. You could also use a Trello. I just use this basically for the board view. This is a board view. Okay. This is where I listed on the different steps that I need to take for each video. And this is where I moved the video along as they progress through the steps. There. You can do this on Trello as well. And I like using this because it can easily integrate into a calendar. And when it is on a calendar view. You can integrate the schedule of each videos as well, which is very neat and very efficient if you are doing the content calendar as well for your clients or your clients themselves can schedule each video if the video is not yet published. So here you can see the different different tasks. So here is the video. Here is if you schedule it, here is the keyword explorer tool and the title and the thumbnail. So to add a video here, just click add. And let's say I will add one video that I need to optimize. And the thing is, once this video, I have scheduled it there. I can move it there. And then I could move it to the different stages, which is the YouTube SEO optimization is a lot of process. And you don't want to forget one step because it will make a difference for the video. So I like having it here so I know exactly where the video is and exactly what do I need to work on next. So this makes it very seamless, very systematic, and very organized whenever you're doing your YouTube SEO work. The next tool that I would like to share with you is a tool within the YouTube YouTube app itself or the YouTube website. This is called Tool buddy. Okay, So whenever I am inside the YouTube Creator Studio, I can click on this. To get to this point, you have to first go to to Buddy.com, download the app and add it on the, on the chroma extensions. So there are two types of SEO. You, the tools that you can use there is vid IQ and there's two body and discourse. I'm going to share with you what I do. We do body because that is just what I use. And for me it's so easy, but you can definitely still use vid IQ if your client wants to and if you refer to. So all you have to do is download this. This is for free and there is also a paid version. And once you have downloaded it, make it into a Chrome extension so that when you open your YouTube Studio, it's just there and you can easily access the tools that is available for you to use. 0, 0, 0, 0. So that's it. That's the big picture of YouTube SEO and the different tools that I use to make it systematic and organized for my client. 3. All about Keywords: We are going to start with how to find a keyword onto buddy or how to score keyword. Okay, so this scenario is you have been hired by your client. They already have videos uploaded in their channel. And your role or your mission is to make sure that this video show up and search. So the first thing that you need to do is change the video's title. Now to do that, you have to find a good keyword to attach to this video. The keyword basically tells everybody, the audience, the viewers, and the algorithm, what the video is all about. So in this scenario where a video is already uploaded in the channel, all you have to do is first go to the two bloody Chrome extension. Launch the keyword explorer. And depending on what video it is, we could check out the different titles that we could do for this channel, for this video. So for example, this video, I'm going to retitle it, or I'm going to check its current title score. It's current title is three steps to claim as maternity benefit. And let's explore. Just click on Explore. And there you go, you have the scar. You actually have two scores here, the weighted score, which is specific to your channel, and unweighted score, which is just the general keyword, keyword score. So a fair score is a good score. That means you have a good chance of showing up on search because there are people searching for it. This is what it means search volume competition way that there are other videos. These are the other videos that have already created a video about it. And if it is high, that means they're not locked. There are not a lot of other videos created about it. And optimization strength to current videos that have been created about this topic. That means if those videos have been optimized, then you will have a poor score. But if their videos have not yet been optimized, then you have much more, a higher score, which more likely if you optimize your video, you can be on top of those current videos that are about this topic. So this are the scar analysis or this is what it means. And by this, you could kind of like analyze which title will help you create your video, will help your video stand out. So the better score is that it's just telling you the better chances of having your video show up on search. So what I typically do is I, I make two titles for one video. So that will testing our NAEP much wider. So if you just have one title, just guessing for this, you are, you keyword search terms. But if you create more terms, there's like more waste that your video can show up. So the next title that I created for this video is in Tagalog. So because this is basically at Gallop video or a Filipino video, it makes sense that the title is in Filipino as well, since we are a bilingual, nice shine. It also makes sense to make the titles in English. Now let's check the other title score. As you can see, it is a very good title. It's showing me that there is about a good search volume for this keyword. There's not much competition, and the competition is also not optimized. So that all in all gave me a good score. Having combined these two titles is a very good strategy for one video when you're optimizing a video. Now that you know how to find the keyword for a video in, we will move on to how we title our video. 4. How to Title a YouTube Video: On this lesson, I'm going to share with you how I titled videos for clients and for myself. So usually I would go with this technique that I'm going to share with you. This technique is really easy to use, really effective. And I have been doing it for years and years. So this is the technique. Okay, So on my screen you will see this cb. Cb is short for a clickbait that would make your video intriguing. That will produce feelings of intrigue, curiosity. Things like that. Keyword is the searchable term that you want to score high in. Because usually clickbait words are not keyword searchable words. So that's why I have to do these two categories. And then I would usually do after anthesis, wherein there is a description. It could either be shocking, awesome, effective, and then by the last of the title, the channel name, because the channel name at the last part of the title will be easy for the algorithm. Make sure that the next suggests that video would be the channels video as well. So there are different techniques working on in here. First part of the title is that they're trying to draw in the audience. And then in the middle of it, there should be a keyword that is a searchable term. And then on the last if always have to be the channel name because that is a technique that you use to make sure that you do algorithm. Just play your videos from here on out whenever the audience do the autoplay options when they're watching YouTube videos. So this really helps on that. So how do I execute this? So this is how I would execute it. For example, the video that I showed you earlier, it's all about SSS, maternity benefit, right? So that's our keyword. But on the first part, just to make it more click beta-gal is I'm going to put easy way to claim or the easiest way to plane. And then I just have to choose something that I would put in a parenthesis. So maybe we could use three easy steps. And then by the end of it, if we still have space, I will put my name, my mirror. If we still have space, I'm going to put my mommy Ruth. Or if I'm short on space, I would usually do a character like this. So that I could like cut the title. It's easier to read. And for example, my clickbait is totally different from my keyword. I would usually be doing a slash as well, just to separate the two. And what this would look like in the final video is like this. So yeah, if you can rearrange them according to how do you think it's more appealing? Yeah, so something like this. So on the title you have a 100 characters allowance for in what you're going to put in a title. So I usually use this formula to make sure that the title does very well jury, the whole process. So the first thing that we do is we make sure that the video show up in search like this. And once it's there, There's a lot of things that you need to do to make sure that it's clickable. Clickable means it's enticing for an audience to click it. So there are different elements that you could optimize to make sure that this happens. And the first thing was the title. So how do you make the title clickable? I just share with you my formula. There are more other formulas that you could learn for sure in the future, but this line has been the most effective for me and my channels and my clients channels as well. So the next thing that you need to check that your video is clickable is also you have to make sure that the Tom nail is clickable. The thumbnail is very enticing, very intriguing, and it has the elements that you need so that the audience will really click on your video. So these are the two things that are very important, the thumbnail and the title. But since we are not a fundamental expert here, we're just focusing on the title. So hopefully your clients have burst on really in charge and creating Tom Mills, the creative graphics people. They're, they're the ones who were going to make sure that the thumbnail is done right? Okay, On the next and the next lesson we are going to tackle the description box and everything else that we need to optimize within it to make the video or 5. All about description box : Hello and welcome to this lesson. Now we will talk about all about the description, that's what's in it and what can we do to make our videos show up in search? So let's say you got your first assignment for YouTube, SEO optimization of a video. The first thing that you should do if, for example, a video is a podcast episode on how to deal. Or a vlog is two. Skim through the video or watch the whole video. So I also do the chapters while I'm doing it, saw that I am eating two birds with one stone. So how do you do the chapters? Let me show you my screen. To do the chapters, you have to go inside a YouTube creator studio. Once you're in the studio, you have to click on the video that you are going to addict. Once you are on the video that you are going to edit, this is how it would look like. As you can see, this video doesn't have chapters on it. Chapters means these are the things that you see here while the video is playing so that audience can skip through different topics within the video. So how I do, how do I do this? The first thing I do is I listened to the video in fast speed and then about halfway. And then I would take note of the timestamps. And I will just put the timestamps here on the description. I'm going to add it here. To create chapters. All you have to do is go to the description box and create this number series hero dot 000. And then you could just start creating other timestamps after this. This line will automatically create stamps on the video or chapters. So as I'm listening to the video and taking note of which part of the video she is right now. Well, actually this is me. Which part of the video I am right now. So this is step two. That's 14 day. So there you go. As easy as this. You already created chapters for the video. Sometimes it could be as simple as this, or sometimes it could be really, really long, just like here let me show you. So this is a sample of where I did a lot of chapters for this client. So that is why there is a lot of chapters here. There's like every five minutes there is a new topic. So just click Save. And when you see the video again, it's going to show you it will have different timestamps within the video. So that means you have already created the chapters for the video. So there, these are the timestamps that we created. So it's showing here. So usually when we do a search, the title of the chapters, they show up as well. So this is another opportunity to put in a keyword if you are going to create chapters. So the chapters within itself are keywords where in you good? I associate with this, with this video so that whenever somebody searched for that keyword, this video will show up. So right now I'm just going to add in the different keywords that are associated to this video. So there we go. We have graded different keywords for this video based on what the video is about. And we have integrated them in the chapters so that we could also show up in search on this, You ways. After a timer a few times how fast if you have a chapters that is specifically what you are looking for in the search bar. There's there's a chance that your video will show up here. There was a certain video. I've recently searched. That shows me the chapters because it has already been integrated into video. That's trying to check. So here this is a good example of a video using chapters. One of the ways that the chapters option can help your video show up is by putting in keywords on the traffic titles. And for example, we search for that keyword on Google search bar. This is an example of a video showing up first, even first, then articles or photos is just all category and showing up first. Just because this video is highly optimized, this video have different chapters in it all about the search item or the keyword that I have been searching for. So this is one of the best hacks, are the newest hacks that you could use for YouTube videos since chapters have only been released about 30 year. So this is one of the amazing things that you could do to make sure that your video shows up first on the search bar. So there we go. We already know all about the chapters and how to do it. So here's the description box right here. And usually the first thing that is here, first 50 characters. This is what will show up here, right here, right beside this thumbnail. So make sure that within this 50 characters, we are showing something that is enticing the viewers to watch our videos. So in my example right here, I'm showing you this highlighted version. This is just showing like a preview, written preview of what they could come up or what they can see in the video itself. It is also very important to note that all of your title, this title shows up here as well because it's going to be part of your YouTube SEO score, or what you will see here on this side. So this is that SEO score. This is just showing you how optimized your video is. So one of the things that is there is the title descriptions. In the title and descriptions. The title words are in description, right here. The title words are in description. That's 20 points of the YouTube score, YouTube SEO score. So yeah, if you could put it in this description, that's great. But if you could just sometimes copy-paste it within the description box, that's also good too, but that is not very readable to a person. So you can be clever with it. You could just put it here and then make sure that it is readable when you write it because nobody likes reading things that are like meant for machines. Just keyword after keyword. It's called keyword bombing. Alright, so now let's move on to the other things that you could put in the description box, and that is our hashtags. So we can use up to three hashtags. And these three hashtags will be the one that will show up here right below a video. So you have to be really smart Twitter hashtags. So it really depends on if you have a lot of keyword that you could score for, you could just write the different hashtags there. My example. And usually what I do is I also make sure that material, the hashtag, is the channel name. So the best practice is used to keyword hashtags and then the channel name as your third hashtag. How does this work? So let's see, if I click on the hashtag gear SSS maternity benefit. It will show me different videos about the topic, right? So that's one way for your videos to show up. So as you can see, I have my first two videos showing up here. And all these other videos are getting lots of views because they have been using the SSS hashtag as well. So it's a good way to expose your video to more viewers. The chapters we have already covered at the beginning of the lessons. So this is our lesson one. So make sure that you check that out if you haven't yet. And what I usually do is I would put on a suggestion for another blogged watch. This is a previous vlog, previous topic. So that instead of the viewers clicking out, they have another video checkout. So they're just a little description and the link for the videos. And then now we go on the links or this socials that is applicable for your client or you just put on the different social media handles right there, or websites and some links that is irrelevant to the channel. So in this case, I'm putting on affiliate links about my vlogging equipments. Sometimes for your clients, they would like to put a links to their affiliates as well. Or so there are different products that they are offering. So that is our description box. And on the next lesson, we're going to talk about playlist, location and category. So I'll see you there. 6. Playlist, category, location : Hello, Hello and welcome. On today's lesson. What we're going to tackle now is the playlist, location and the category of our videos. So let's go right into our screen. And here you will see right below the description box, there are other things that you could do in the youth to create your studio. So this is where you put the thumbnail and right below the thumbnail. You put on a create a playlist. So it is nice to have a playlist and also that playlist title should also be a keyword in there so that it's easier for the user or viewer experience. You will get to see other videos on the same topic. And that really helps the channel. Youtube algorithm also loves this. So yeah, so just create a playlist by clicking on new playlist if there is no existing playlists yet. And this way you could organize the different videos on the YouTube channel. So it's nice having them on, on the system. And if I mean, it's nice to have them organized bike lane is so that when somebody clicks on the YouTube channel, they could see what the creator could already offered them. So this is how you create a playlist. Just click on a title, let's say sss. And then it's publicly visible and just click Create and just click on it. By the way, one video can belong to a lot of other video playlist. So it doesn't mean that one week you should only be in one plane is so it could apply to everything. And I usually create another playlist with the name of the content for April. Because that really helps. And all the videos should be under display is the haunt them create their status so that, that creates a result right here, that's satellite here. So for example, this is our video. Usually here. On this side you'll be able to see hear this called mix mommy Ruth. So everything that you add on this playlist is there. So what I usually do, I add all videos on display list. So every video should at least be belonging to, to play lists. So there we go. That's where playlist and you can click Done. And then right here, let me show you. Let me show you right here. On this. As you can see, on this side of the settings, there is a video location category. So it's nice to put in your video location so that those are added traffic that could be driven to your YouTube channel or the video. So we click Video location, it's up to the creator. They want to break recording data as well. And then the next thing that is most important that really makes a difference is this category. So in my own experience and research, it really is good to put it in the how-to and style category, because this is an informative video and whatever it is is it's a log or is it an educational video? You split it into how to style and click Save. And by the way, as we're going along the process of optimizing this video. Here now we'll, we'll use our ClickUp tool or you could also use Trello. And then here we could keep up to where we are right now. So let's just create a card for this video. And then now we could see it is already published for an admin to schedule it. We could just move it along the board and see where we are at. We're done with the titles, we're done with the thumbnail. We then with the description. We've created a hashtag free to deletes, greater the chapters. You've placed it on a playlist, afraid that the location and category. And the next thing that we need to do is sex. So as you can see, this is really efficient so that I won't miss anything. Well, I'm optimizing a video. On the next lesson we are going to tackle all about tags. What are they and how do we optimize for tags? So I'll see you on the next video. 7. All about Tags: Hello and welcome to this lesson. We are going to tackle tags within videos. What I tags. So tags are like categories that you could associate with your video. And whenever somebody would search these keywords or tags, your videos can show up. And this is something just to talk to the machines, letting the machines now on the internet. What this video is all about. So it's really interesting. And one of the things that really takes a lot of time for me to create. So let's go ahead to my screen where I will show you how I do it. So right now you are seeing this box over here, title tags, we have 500 TIRF, there's four tags. And I'm the latest 2021 release of YouTube. They say tags doesn't matter anymore. But I still do it for my YouTube's best successor eight because I can see that it is still effective. But we don't know because the YouTube algorithm is always changing and this is their recent release. But under she's going to tell you are going to teach you now how to do it, even though they say it's irrelevant anymore, at least you know how to do it. So the numbers that you see, the words here is the search rank. Whenever somebody would search for mommy Ruth, I will be the number 13. Here. Number 13. So 1, 2, 3, 4. Something is usually applies to YouTube search and the Google Search. So here, whenever you click on here and search for a tag or a keyword, it showing you it's ranking. So let's just check. It says here that I'm ranking number one for how to claim SSS, maternity benefits and all of this good stuff. So let's check how really it is. So it's right, I'm the number one video. If you search this tag or this keyword. And this has really helped this video because as you can see, this has now garnered a 120 thousand views since it's been published a year ago. So that's how important tags is. And that's like I still like using tags because it shows me my ranking on the search page. So the more tags you ramp for, the better it is for the videos scoring, okay, or it's ranking. So that means a lot of people is seeing it. A lot of people are watching your video. So this tags here that are not relevant, I'm going to have to delete the most of the time. The first step that I would do is I'll make sure that my keywords here on the title are all in the tags. So for example, this line, this is how I usually do it, especially if it's still blank in here, but seems it already has tags. I'm gonna put it there. And the next, the next title that I've created for this video. It has to be there. So there you go. And usually it's also imperative that you have the channel name that you have put in the last part of the title. It should also be a tag because that way you will show up at the system suggests the videos. And as you can see, I already have it here. So the more tags, the more chances of winning. So the more tags you put in there, just user creativity or whatever keywords that applies to the video. Put it here until you reach the maximum capacity. Because tags in itself would really help out in the SEO score. So now we have put in the title on the tags. We have put in some creative things on the tags, the channel name on the tags. The next thing that I need to do when optimizing the tags is to make sure that all these tags show up as well on the description box. If you could create a sentence or if you could put the tags here on that channel, chapter titles on the hashtag under description, all the better. But if there's no way for you to do that, we're going to copy the tags and put it here just right below everything. So it's like you are talking to the machines and this time this is what I'm talking about. You want to avoid this as much as possible. If you have if you have ways to put this on the chapters titles, it will be so much better and easier. But here we have to just separate each tags. I'll show you some more ideas on how to get more tags. So if you have to buy the Chrome extension installed in your server or in your here in your browser. It will show this recommended tags. So under recommended tags, there are so many ideas of tags that you could use and all you have to do is click on D tag right here. It will have a check mark and it will show up here. So it's automatic. So you can have a lot of ideas from here. I use this all the time. And if you refresh the scores, sometimes the auto show which score this video is actually showing up right now. So there you go. There's no score right now because all discord ones I already put in there, but it usually shows a number right here. It's showing that right now you are ranking this high on this tag. So then you, you just have to click on those genes that shows keyword score. Now that we have tackled the tags, we are going to move onto cards and n screens within the YouTube studio operator. And I will see you there on the next lesson. 8. Endscreens and cards : So if you can see my screen under the YouTube studio details, and on this side, just scroll down. Sorry, just scroll down. And right here you would see cards and screen. So what are these? These are the suggested videos that you usually see that comes up on top of a YouTube video. So you have the option to create up to five tags are five cards, forbid per video. So if you can see here how I did it, I have spread it out throughout the video. Let's say this video right here is go onto cards. And this video doesn't have any cards yet. So you have an option to add another video. You could add a playlist, you could add another channel, or you could link to a website. So if your client has his own sales page or a book page, a website, you could add it here. But you need to add it first. You know, once it's not good setup, you have to set it up first. So you could add a link there on his channel. And then he has to verify that that website is his own website. Then once it's registered on the YouTube creator, then you can add it here. So anyways how to add a video card. Click the timestamps or the moment where you want to add a new video card, just click here video and then you have a choice to choose a specific video right here. So in this case, I want to choose a different vlog to add it. As a suggestion up above here. There are also moments or clients were in, they would say within the video, check out the card up here, and then you have to time it where they say that and that's where you discard. So just click on the timestamp and then you could add a card. You could choose either a video, a playlist, channel, URL link. So this time let's do playlist and they have different playlist within the channel. And I'm going to choose display list to add here. And the best practice for this is check the analytics. What is the average watch time in the channel for your channel? If it's 10 minutes, make sure that you add all the cards within ten minutes. You don't really have to spread it out throughout the video. Because those ten minutes are the only minutes that it's averagely shown by the viewer. So it doesn't make sense to add another card. By the end we're in, nobody's watching anymore. So just click on different videos that you could add over at the average watch time. If it's five minutes, within five minutes, if it's 10 minutes, it's 10 minutes. So there you go. That's how you add cards and make sure that there is like no errors. Okay, so let's just add this line and make it five cards. Last one. I guess we already hit five. So you can move them up once they're added and space them out. Thanks, so there you go. So there's five there. Then you just click on save. And we could also click here so that this good at as a template. So next time you don't have to manually do it anymore. You can just save this line. Okay, this is how you save it. Let's put a name for the, all the blogs that we have added here, all the hards, I mean, and that it was saved, right? Let's save it. So the next time you show or you open another cards on another video, all you have to do is click on this and this settings right here would be automatically applied. So that cuts off your time in working on the video and makes it so much faster. So I would recommend that you set your card templates when you're doing your SEO practice. All right, and now let's go ahead and look at screens. So what are n screens? These are the things that you saw by the end of the video. This are clickable things where in the audience can actually click on it and be, be interactive with it. So this things you have to add in the YouTube studio creator and not on the editing. So there are ways to do this. Like right here, there is just the raw log and I would add an end screen. So this picture right here is showing that if they click on it, they could subscribe to the channel. And this right here shows the best video for the viewer. But you could also change him. You could choose a specific video that this related to that video right there. And then you can decide which actual video should be showing. But you could also choose this most recent upload and best for viewers so that you too will select it for the, for the channel. You could also apply a template or set this video and screen as a template and put a name on it. Let's do this just like the other line. And you could save time while doing it if you click on this. So this is on the last 30 seconds. I think this is the last 30 seconds, 15 seconds of the video. And yeah, this is the first way to do it. You could also create, ask your, ask your client to create an end screen card, which is something like this. There is a space for the boxes. So all you have to do is just put in the elements there. You could put on the subscribe he element here on top of her picture. And here the others suggested videos. So you do this. So you can move this around. As you can see, there is an area where you can move it around. And then if there is an artwork here, you can just click on the artwork where it's making sense where to put it. So there you go. That is all about our end screen. And on the next lesson we're going to tackle best-practices. So I'll see you on the next lesson. 9. Best Practices: Hello and welcome to this lesson where in we are going to talk about the best practices. This is actually the last step that we have to take in order to finish optimizing a YouTube video. So let's go ahead. I'll show you my screen. On my screen you will see the actual video that we have been optimizing. This is outside the YouTube Creator Studio, and you can see my extensions on the right side. It is the two buddy extinctions. And there you will see the YouTube score or the SEO score the creator suggested and the rank tags. We are actually right now ranking for eight tags on this video. Different social, social media scores right here. And this channel is pertaining to the whole channels analytics. And here, this is actually where I want you to focus. These are the best practices, okay? So the checkmark means you have already done this different things. There are others that usually it will show an X mark if it hasn't been done. So high resolution or high resolution thumbnail check info cards added, which we did earlier on our cards lesson, and screens added. So that's what we did as well comment. So I don't think I have been the common for this yet. So all you have to do to peanut comment is click on this three dots on the right side of any comment, and click on Pin. And there you go, it will be pinned over, there, should be checked, and then captions added. These are the subtitles. If it's possible, it will be the best practice to have subtitles added, but it's not like a mass thing, and it's also not what you are doing as an SEO expert. So they need to hire a different person, or do you need to do the captions themselves? So here comments heart. So all you have to do these heart, different comments. Yeah. And as well as the chapters are added, I'm showing this to you because this is one of the ways where you could cross check yourself. And there are some things here that are not included in our SEO process, like the common spinning comments highlighted in light on Facebook. So to do this, you have to share the video. On Facebook. Obviously you have to share it on your clients Facebook page. And once it's shared there you have to like it. So that's the way for you to be able to solve it. You have to do is share it. If once you manage your clients Facebook page, you can choose which page you want to share it in. So this is how you share it on Facebook and then put some description and then post to Facebook or you can schedule it. It's up to you, but as long as you like it, so that this step right here will show you that it's checked. So that means you're doing all the best practices. You're doing everything that you can so that the YouTube video we'll do good once it's out there. So you can also do this to your clients videos or your own video if you are doing that so well. So there we go. This is the best practices. And don't forget your card here on our click up or a Trello board, you have to move it along so that you know exactly where you are. So I usually just do this, check that everything has been done and now I have done best practices. The best practices and one's best practices is done. Just click Done over here. And once it's done, it's closed. There you go. So that's that those are my pending things that I'm doing for my clients right now, and this is the one that I have shown you. So on the next video, our lesson, I'm going to share with you the different ways I do my documentation or reporting. How do I send the report to my client? How do I send an invoice? How do I send a proposal if I'm just applying for the position, just I'm gonna give you some samples as well as well. It would be on the documents are on the comment section of this Skillshare platform. It should be around there somewhere. You can check it out, you can download it. And also how I did this. How I did this board's, there should be a link if it's available. I will be linking one of my Trello boards or this ClickUp board and share it with you so that you could recreate it for yourself. So I'll see you on the next and our last lesson. 10. Documentation: Hello and welcome to our last lesson. Now that you have learned how to optimize a YouTube video for SEO purposes. And you have been doing this for clients. Now it's time to create a report to send to your clients, to show the different videos that you have optimized and send an invoice. So get payment for the work that you do. And as long as I'm going to share with you a sample proposal that I use when I am proposing to new clients who wants to take on my service so that it is clear exactly what you are doing. And just to make it easier for you, it will be all on this lesson. And let's go ahead and hop on my screen. So I use Google Sheets, just like I showed you earlier on the first lesson. I use a Google Sheet so that it's online and everything is a shareable to my client, whether they want to do that. So here we have a set requirement of ten videos per week to optimize. So I would write the final title over here. I will just track them here and then put the links here. And usually they will have a YouTube SEO score for every YouTube video that I optimized. So the YouTube SEO score, you could get it or you can check it here. This is a sample of the video that we have been working on and the SEO score is right here. So all you have to do is go to the video link outside the YouTube graders studio. And this should show up if two by the extension is installed in your browser. So right here is showing the SEO score and all the other things that are there, the tags, the rankings and all of that. And I will get the SEO score it and write it here. So that just means that I did my job. And this is another way for me to check that there is nothing that I have overlooked because within the process that I've showed you here on ClickUp, if there's just a couple of things that you did not do, especially for the tags. This description and the title, this scar will be absolutely very low, like really low, very poor, like 2030 below 50. So if it shows there that it's below 50, then you have to recheck or audit the optimization that you have done for the video. Maybe you have missed a couple of things. And that's why it's very important to use a board like this from Trello or click up or whatever board application you want to use. These are all free online right away. So once I have listed down all the things that I have created, I will be highlighting them by clicking right now, shift and move the arrow cursor and select them. Okay, now I have selected for week 7. Let's just say I'm going to do a report weekly report that I'm sending to my client together with them, invoice so that they know what I have done and this is how much I am charging them for. So on the Google Sheets, Google Sheets, options, click on File and then click on Download, PDF. And right here, click on expert selected cells. So this way you are going to be selecting the things that you have done on that week, the work that you have done in that week, there's the links of the videos that you have created and the YouTube SEO score. And then click Export. And then it will be downloaded on your computer. You will have a PDF file report of what you have done for the client datetime. And right here I'm showing you a how I do my invoices or how I charge my clients. Usually for this client. This is a set set requirements, like a set number of videos for week because they already have a lot of videos that needs optimization. So right here I'm just showing you my this is a Word document that says invoice there you could put in your name, invoice number, invoice date billed to the client. Youtube channel, SEO, the number of videos that you have created, and the total for that week. And then where can they pay you your team number and your name? So and then you again, save this as a PDF. And once it's saved as a PDF file, you can now email this to your client. So I usually just save us. Then click here, file format, PDF file. And then just say what we get is let's say Week 7. Then export. Okay, so once you have exported that, it's saved there together with the report for the week, the work that I have done, I will send an email and I will attach this to the e-mail so that my client my client knows exactly how much he owes me and how much he supposed to pay me that week. Alright, so now I'm going to show you guys the YouTube SEO proposal. This is also downloadable on this course. Make sure you check them out. And so this is basically how I just do it. I would send an email. I'll show you an example. I'll send an email like for example, I have a current client I'm editing for YouTube videos. And if I want to upsell my other skills, this is what I do. I would give a suggestion, something of value for them. And then I would mention that I have another service that they might benefit from. So here we go. Let's see. So here you can see on this e-mail this e-mail, I I just said, By the way, for the last part of the videos on the rectangles, you can add an end screen like this. Reading my e-mail. Okay, there you go. And I do YouTube SEO to for my clients, if ever you are interested, I take care of optimizing videos, adding chapters and description, and more practices. I have a full checklist attached to make videos searchable and aligned with the YouTube algorithm. Do check it out below. And then I will attach this exact same YouTube PDF file that I am including in this course. And this is it, this is just a proposal. The benefits of that, they could get the inclusion of the YouTube SEO service for videos, I have created it all here. And what is the goal so that they know exactly. The short-term goal is to get a good score or a video. And the long-term goal is to increase our score on YouTube search. And then suggested search and then the browser page search. So when they do that, when that happens to a video, it becomes viral, it becomes more exposed to other viewers. There are more chances that the video will get more views, more subscriptions, and then the channel will grow, which is the ultimate goal of our clients. And usually this is the rate of how I would charge them. It's up to you on how much rate you would like to be done for your work if you want it to be done per hour or per video. So for me, I charge it by video depending on how long the video is, because the chapters, it takes time to do it. You have to listen to the video and all of that stuff. But yeah, so this is like a fair price and the market. And you could also charge them by the hour and have them monitor your screen if that's what you like. So hopefully on this course you already have understood what is the YouTube SEO process? What does this specific things that you need to do to accomplish a YouTube SEO optimization birth video. How to propose to a client your services, how to do a reporting and invoicing of the services that you have done. So I hope that you have find this online course helpful.
