About This Class

Let's dive into what we can do with a 3d pen and lines.

The Line is one of the basic elements of Art and today we are going to explore it and exploit it as a fun way to get familiar with a 3d pen and also do some cute ornaments for Christmas!

I’m going to use, during the class, a basic 3D Pen kit (3D pen, 4 different plastic filaments, scissors, transparent foil). In the resources, you’ll find useful links and free models I’ve designed for you.

If you don’t have a 3D pen, you can just watch first this class and see if this can be interesting for you, in the meanwhile, you can still download my freebies and use them as coloring pages or as stickers to decorate your IG and Tik Tok stories for the Christmas season.

This class is not just beginner friendly but aims to be also kid-friendly! I love to guide you with projects that can build cool family time and crafty memories together!

---

Do you know that a line is a moving dot through space?

Well, the 3d pen can really make this evident! And I cannot wait to show you how the theoretical topic can be so fun to experiment with!!

We’ll see:

  • How to draw straight, wavy and curly lines
  • Different directions and muscle memory
  • Letters and text
  • Thicknesses
  • Create surfaces with lines
  • Overlapping and textures

But also, about the 3dPen, how to:

  • Set the pen
  • Insert the filament
  • Remove it to change colors
  • And many hints and tricks!

And don’t forget to check the resources session! There are many freebies! Templates to practice, to build the ornaments, extra models usable also as coloring pages, and a diploma for completing this class are waiting for you!

And on, Giphy, Tik Tok or Instagram you can search for “3DPenXmas” or “MaddaMom” to get free stickers designed with the projects of this class.

1. Intro: Ciao, I'm Adam on. In this class, I want you to dive in what you can do with a 3D pen. Do you know what is a 3D pen? You ever use one? Do you have one? Don't worry. This class is not just beginner friendly, but tends to be also kinda friendly. I love you to guide you with Project that can be though, so quality time and cool, Nobody's together. So back to the details of this class. I provide you free models that you know, time will not adjust, make you more comfortable and confident with a 3D pen, but also, you'll end up with some ornaments and decoration for Christmas. By exploring and practicing lines will have a lot of fun with the lines are lines that one of the basic elements of art and definitely are the crucial element for any 3D project. If you don't have a 3D pen right now, you can just watch it first this class and see if this can be interesting for you. In the meanwhile, you can still download my freebies and using them as a coloring pages or as a sticker to decorate your Instagram and TikTok stories. What you learn in this class is meant to fool your own ideas and I cannot wait to see your creation. Please don't forget to share your progress and experiments along the way. You can do it here in Skillshare in the project section, or tag me on Instagram at some solution or with the hashtag mother, Mom, I love to repost your photos on my stories and also to give you feedback if you like it, the models you will get as a freebies, I've been created with my iPad and the procreate. And if you're curious about them and you wanted to create your own, don't miss my next Skillshare class by turning on right now, the follow button. It's supposed to be here. Here. Here, here. Thank you for now and see you in the next video or not, I forgot something. Yes. If you complete the class that don't forget to check her in the resources also for your diploma, because at the end you'll be a master of lines with discrete event. So what are you waiting for? See you in the next video. Bye. 2. Projects and Tools: If you follow along with the 3D pen and the free model and providing you in the resources of this class. You love soon in your hand that these ornaments, you can use them for decorating your Christmas tree, but also your greetings, your present, your advent calendar, your Christmas necklace. But what is most important is that by implementing this example, so you're ready, pretty familiar with your 3D pen. I bet you come out with more ideas and personalization. Please share your project here in the gallery. In Skillshare or tag me, I love to see your creation and also for the work in progress will be so cool. And you don't have to finish all the class in one session. You can just come back when you're ready to go with another idea. What another project to mix. So just try to document this journey and share it. And just a quick reminder, if you don't have yet the 3D band, remember, you can start to practice with paper and pencil, and you can use the Freebase as a coloring pages. But now I'll walk you through the essential tool I use while filming this class. Let me disappear. So there are many items are related to the world, the magic world of 3D pen. But I'm going to use and ask you to just check for very normal simple pencil. Any kind of paper. You can go ahead and e.g. with a square paper if you like. But actually any scrap of paper like this one is even perfect. The envelope of super perfect to do this kind of project, we will just to start it from a startup to all the other items are not unnecessarily. 3. Basic settings: Keeping here just essential items. Let's take our new tensor. Here. There are some models. What you want to keep is this transparent foil. You can take a side daughter Bertha. You will get your 3D pen, the cable. And the first color. I'm using green, but obviously any color will work fine. I would just ask you now to plug your 3D panel. Here. I'm using a power bank that actually I think is pretty handy when you're doing a project with with kids. So let me connect mine. Let's turn it on by plugging this one very well. And then push the turn-in button that in this band is here. It will start to do this one with the light. And the year. You will see that you could set the plastic filaments it in PLA, ABS. The one provided usually our PLA. So we'll leave it like this and we put the speed actually on this. It is the slowest speed for starting. What I recommend you to pay attention in this phase now the pen is already ready is to do not touch this part because it's the hottest part. Yes. You don't want to injure your finger? Yes. It is not exactly something dangerous. I did the mistake, many mistakes and nothing happened to my finger as you can see. But yes, please pay attention, especially when you're working with kids. 4. Insert the filament: So now we have the filament, the 3D pen is ready. We check that the tip of the filament has these finer shaper, altered wiser. We can just corrected with our Caesar or this one. And then it's ready to be inserted. I suggested to put it vertical. To insert like this. You will accompany the filament to go down. And when you feel that there is a resistance, then it's time to push this button here. Starts to feel the sun. You have already your transport and fate here. You might accompany a little bit to the filament at the beginning. And then just the patient that is a Vista, especially because we use this low speed. This one is also the first time we are missing this pen. You'll see is here. I think we've spent actually was tested with a wide filament. You can see that there was a little bit too wide. And here is our 3D panel filament coming out when the color is in place. And I see that it's totally the green data. Like I can stop it. I can check it. And pretty soon it will be already called to be touched. And as you can see, you can remove it if it's already some shape. But now let's dive into our class. 5. Lines - Intro: Align with color, texture, very U-shaped form and space is the basic element that is one of the elements of art. And I think with the 3D panel, we can really see how aligned is important. So now you print out my freebies and we are going to practice some lines together. Remember, I normally suggest you to use this one as a protection even if it's not exactly necessary. But I will show you later why. And if there is this one on the tip of your pencil when he's ready and warmer as it is right now. You can just take it away. Just be careful to not touch the white part, the tip. Okay. My pen now is in standby, so I have to push it again. So remember, each dimer is Tony Hoffer. You can just push it again. And if you're just there, it will become green again. We are using now the lowest speed in the 3D panel and we're ready to go. Align is basically a moving through the space. And with the 3D brand, you can see it pretty well. Let's start to do our dot here. This one is a Dr. and we can leave the dot, move through the space to non turned off by this button. What is important for a 3D project? This has got very confident on this process. So we can do it again. Now. You can go faster, who's slowly? Let's do it again. As I told you, is pretty evident what it is. Because in a 3D pen then you can just take your line and use it also to do projects. So that could be e.g. oops, I don't have it here. E.g. by connecting the lines, you can build them the 3D project. But today we will focus on the line itself in something to do to reach our Christmas ornament. 6. Straight, wavy, curly: Let's go ahead with the exercises now. Let's try to do a bigger one, longer one. The 3D pen has also different speed that we are going to taste too soon. But before doing so, I really would like you just to take a little bit of practice on. A line can also be drawn in different ways. E.g. as we did that, we can go ahead and do straight lines. But also these kind of wavy lines up. This one. Here for the first time. We are overlapping our lines together. And I found it already very fun and relaxing. Okay. Now, you can continue with this, a practice with this speed or aura. If you feel already more confident, we could try to increase the speed of our pen, maybe moving on the medium. Not wholly dependent, have different speeds that usually they have, maybe they have one or two, this one has three, so I'm going in the middle now. I will take away, remove any filaments that maybe will stay there at the end. Then I will try to practice again. As you can see, if you increase the speed. Actually also the line is a little bit thicker. What is interesting to see how you are going to change? Your answer will be. In this exercise. You can also try this super-fast speed. And sometime the 3D bend my knees a little bit time to get warmer because actually as much as the speed is upper, as much the temperature is going up. So be careful actually to touch this part. If you use a high-speed. You can feel it also from the sound. Okay? So as you can see, it's interesting to see also different texture when you use different speed. Now go ahead and practice again. This part, I'm missing. 7. Different directions: A line can travel in different directions. So you wanted to practice that. Also vertical lines. Of course, that we already did, the horizontal lines. But to try or so different direction, diagonal, e.g. from button to happen, but also the opposite if you like, you can just add your own exercise on the page. I'm going down here, try different direction again from button stop, or even here. You want to build some muscle memory with your hand. So when you're doing this project. 8. Letters and text: To complete this first part of our exercise, I want you also to practice the first step writing by following this one. Again, if maybe the first time put it in as low modal or medium, I will keep the medium, the stuff that's right. Sometime you just need to stop at the beginning and then you go down. The important than this one is already a very key concept on 3D pen is that to connect all the lines together. If you want them to be a project, you can also go back on them. In this case of the e, you can stop it or just go back. You can make it larger. I'm going. 9. Final stage and tricks: Now that we've completed the first part of our exercise, I just wanted to collect the result. It's also kind of funny to take them away from the paper. You hear this click, click, click, click. In this one are our prior to that. In our case they were exercise to practice line, but they can be used really for other projects. And we might see this one in another class. See how cute it is here about the letters. Let me take away a little bit page. So as you can see, it's important to keep them connected if you wanted the letter together. But the word is separate because it wasn't connected. So if you wanted to. But the way this one could be a nice exercise also to work with kids about putting them the words, the letter in the right order. But another project, what I wanted to show you that if you wanted the world to be altogether because he wanted to use it somewhere, you just need to connect a little bit. The letter, sir. Wait just a little bit to get colder. Yes. Is also important. This part that don't take it immediately, not just because it's not safe for your beautiful fingers, but also because it might compromise the refineries aren't of your project. Now that is called them. Not so-called actually. Especially this part. Still hot. A little bit warmer? Yes. So I need to wait. Another and the item could be when you're using the transparent paper to do our project is to have a spatula. You see it's immediately went out when it is called. Now, the worst is together 3D pen. 10. Thicknesses: A line can also have different thickness. And also with our 3D pen, we can experiment this one pretty well. But how would we do it? First of all, as I told you, you can use a different speed. Because the difference being that when you feel this sound is because it needs a little bit to, to, to restart them. Anyway with different speed that you can have a different thickness. But another way to do it is also consistency. Another way to make a different thickness for a 3D project is actually to make more lines nearby. You can do like this. If you need to do something that is thick, you can feel the inside actually also e.g. and this one is going to be handy when we will do projects that needs to build the size of an object. E.g. first you do the outline, then you can feel the inside. Or you can also just fill it in this way. Even more texture. That is still something that a line can do. This texture. The thickness can be, of course. Also when you are using overlapping. E.g. going back again on the same project, like this, or even without stopping going back in the opposite direction. And this one is also very nice exercise to practice with the 3D pen. As you can see, the thickness with a 3D pen is not adjust to the direction that is also coming up this 3D way. Let's practice also with different tool. I think it's very important that you get the point right there so you can continue and go ahead and practice to see. And it's also very relaxed. And mindfulness. Mindfulness, time of the day. 11. Create surfaces, overlapping and textures: This exercise is about overlapping. In this case. What is interesting is that in my point of view, the overlapping is a little bit also an exercise to check out. You can give basically like fabric idea to build things. So you can overlap very, very, very narrow way. When you do a mistake like this, you can just put it down a little bit with your finger worker. Or it could be also very large and important is that you remember you connect with your project. The only things that are not connected. Now, this one is getting cooler. Let's check this one, e.g. this one is similar to what we did previously. One interesting thing is that you will always have a lot of texture in this side of the worker and this one will be flat, but sometime you want also the flat part. So don't underestimate these aspects of your project. Okay, suppose this one is useful also to get them. You can see how different they are. One property of this kind of thing. You can also bend them. You see, this will be another project again, but as you can see, we can then connect to this part. Let me do it now. I cannot resist. You can just connect them. This one is a little bit advanced so because yes, we need to put, okay, let's forget it. For this one, you need to put some protection for your finger. But yes, as you can see, somehow, we do the ring. Ready. Get them. Cool, right. 12. Outlines, problems and tricks: Let's try again to do an outline. In this case of a circle. Practicing circle is pretty important. So maybe try another time. Now try to do another round to keep him deeper. You're Creation. Sometime you want to wait a little bit to go with extra level. So maybe let's go back on this one. But in the meanwhile is it's cool. And we can have those additional decoration if you like. This one is time to experiment so you can definitely follow my blade and my model, but please experiment with everything you like. Same concept this year. You do again the circle. Then you just try to feel it in the way that you like. Do you like to do this or do you prefer to do this one and then go back? As you like, you don't have to finish it as you feel it in this moment. Because actually then we are reaching one important aspect of lines are not just for three depends, but in general, lines can also express the motion. And so while now we're practicing to do this square and by the way, square root, I'm pretty important also to kill cancer in men in any shapes that we need to follow the projects. You see here a problem happened. So it's perfect because I can show you how we can fix it. So you can either take this one away and maybe cut it and just do it again. Or of course you can do the whole project. The point is that with the 3D band, you can use it to fix stuff. So definitely you can fix up 3D. Pen project itself will exercise. There are no mistakes. If you can fix them. And actually the mistakes sometimes. So many cool idea to experiment. So please, I really encourage you to look for failures because they are not. So. As you can see, you can practice like this. Usually with horizontal line I espresso communists. But when I add the vertical lines, I defect structure to my calmness. And it would be nice if you let me know in your projects which emotion you are getting from this project. And again, just go ahead. Practice more on doing square. So we'll just speed up because you've got the idea for sure. Yes. Just big picture and upload them in the project or dogma. And we love to see how it's going. You can also just start from the same side as the important is that everything is connected. Just let it be as you like. Just one thing is that remember especially the perimeter as to be closer. And like in this case, if I'm putting many things, maybe I wanted to go back to the perimeter, to the outline and make it thicker because they wanted to be more solid. Now, this one here is to remind you something important with three Ben, is that why you left smaller lines like this one can give you the idea e.g. of texture or e.g. let's say it could be the emotion of happiness. Celebrating, could be e.g. the Fuhrer anymore. But the point that they wanted to underline is that if you want to do this in a 3D pen projects and this one will not stick there because they will not stick together. Because technically for a 3D pen, this one is not like this one are complete. Pizza. This one is 123455 different pieces. So if you would like to give this kind of texture, we will see later in our Christmas projector. But we will use some tricks to do it, like putting first the level with one color and then the change the color later. Okay, so just feel free to continue with your exercises. Check them. Get the idea on how you can reuse even this exercise maybe to, to play with your kids and see you soon. To start with our Christmas ornaments. 13. Change colors, remove and insert filaments: Now that we practice a lot, it's time to start with the real project of this class, making some Christmas ornaments. To do so, the first step is to change our field and my power bank wasn't stunned by. So let's turn on again. Our n. We wanted to change the filaments. Any color will be fine. Obviously. I just wanted to change it and use the black because it's the color that I use the most when I'm doing outlines, I think yes, the black is something that you always wanted to have in handy. Let's see if I were pretty bad. He's ready. Come on, come on to the Ben. Yes. Really? Take out the 3D pen filamentous. What you have to do is push again the bottom that most probably will have this shaper in these three dependence, this one, you will feel it and you can accompany e.g. the filament, the discount. Here we are. Okay. Here. You can just leave the pen to do her own business. Now, what I wanted to point out is something very, very, very important. As you can see now, the NDA is like this. And this one will not be good to be inserted the next time because it could jam the filament inside the pen. So my suggestion is that each time, at least before inserting again, is to cut it and make it like this. Now to insert the next filament, the pen is ready. We did it before, but let's do it again. You will just put it here, a company until you feel some traction. And in this case you will feel the attraction before because steel inside there may be some, some of the previous color, in our case green. And then you will push up. You will push the button and try to keep it vertically. Maybe you will accompany a little bit at the beginning and just give time to the pen. As you can see, there is a little bit of green first step because it was the previous color. And then there is our black. When the block is ready, you can stop it. And let's get ready for our project. 14. Ornament 1: with outlines: We are going to position our transparent paper here and remove the additional part if you need it and start to do the outline. You can choose any speed. Mine probably is a little bit high for this project. But again, as I told you, just take your time and practice. You can go along and just continue the whole. You can stop each time you need by pushing the same button. E.g. if you feel more comfortable to do vertical line from the top to the bottom, just do it. Just when you start to remember to leave a little bit more filamentous like a little daughter and then go down here. If, when you do the project you will use this technique to do segment them. You might have this extra filament, but it's fine. You can just remove it. There are other advanced technique, but I don t think it's such a problem. It's actually makes your projects so unique. Then let's do this part. Stop it a little bit. Inside. We're just continuing. Then you can just go back and check the part that maybe are too Tina, oh, you don't like it? In the mineral that this one is cool, is going to cool down. I want you to work on this one. So simply move your transparent page here and try to do this one that is bigger. Again was a mistake. You know why? Because normally I would go first step for the straight line. Then I might have this part of the design. But again, e.g. there is actually not a right answer. And by doing so, e.g. I. Can just avoid it to draw this part that was not supposed to be behind. Yes, sorry. That is not the right way. Just go ahead. The point of this exercise is not just to do it. Again, I present shaper ornament, but also to practice on decoration here I'm putting straight lines, but you can put just a messy liner. Do your own decoration. Remember, try to connect at this stage them together. Okay, so now this one is supposed to be ready. Yes, actually teaser isn't already super cool. This one is just the outline. Don't worry, we are going to see also how to fill it. And I think it's pretty cool. E.g. you will be able to have them on paper all or what is more important when you have kids. I wanted to show you how you can use this one for being basically a template that the kids can follow on, especially small kids to draw, e.g. they can just call oriented this part with the colored pencil or marker. So they will like it a lot because it's so satisfying actually two to bump on this border. Is there. Maybe then they can fix it. This one is just a first idea of course. But it is one idea that just come out right now. So please feel free to explore and let me know what you're coming out with. The same easier. Now it's already Exactly. You can just glue it to the, to decorate things up or e.g. can you imagine also on a window? Okay, time to go ahead to our next project. 15. Ornament 2: filling, colors, references: We are for the next project. If the filament is not coming out, maybe need some helper, especially when the pen was turned off for a little bit. Then as usual, we just do our outline. Now. What I want you to do now is to first step, follow these lines. With me. We'll see why we're doing this. Okay. We also do this outline. I will add also part that's not in my template, sorry, but just do this. You'll see why. Okay, Then we are going to change the filaments. So remember how we did it them. Take your BATNA, push the button and wait for the plan to do. Worker. Maybe you can help her by putting in this way, but it's not necessarily really. Again, as you see, there is something that you have to fix before using again this black, remember, this one? Is ready. Always check the tip of the filament. Let's put it here. Push the button. Accompany a little bit at the beginning. Check for the color to become the one that you wish though. Yes, now the red is here. I want to just tell you something about the color. The color that you see here will not be exactly like this one because he has the first to get the cooler. So when it's warm, what you might be a slightly different color, but when you get cold, it will be like this. So discard the deposit to get ready. And now I want this project to start, to feel the shape that you outline. Let's start from here. Since I use the right hand, I always try to start the from left to right because I don't want to injure my hand, my mistakes. And I wanted to practice this kind of feeling. That was a mistake and we supposed to do another color here. Anyway, you see the boys write them. We could change again our color and put that under color here to give more endurance that to our Christmas ornaments. So yes, I did a mistake, but let's look because I will jump in his gun and go ahead with the next one. Again, you can just continue with this in this way, or you can come out your own idea or feeling relaxing and motivating to, to create new things. So because the one I'm doing this and I'm really thinking through the next project. What about Q? Done? Important is that always connected to a previous line. Their lines are essential. Done. Okay, Now let's change again color. I think I will go back to our green now. So again, that's the objectives. Company, if you like. Then this part is going to say it again here. This one is perfect and I still went for my pen to get ready. In the meanwhile little ways to finish, I'm going to prepare also the yellow that I'm using for the for this barter is written. So let's go back to green. Of course, if you have any question related to the 3D pen, please don't hesitate to write me in the discussion board. I will be glad that first remember always to check that the color is ready. It is still some red and my green. Now it's okay for me. If you miss the some part, you can just go back. Is not such a big deal. What I really like of the 3D pen project is that even if I go into, again this temp later, many times, each one will be unique. Thing that is going to be there or actually grow again is your confidence with the 3D pen. So e.g. chooser, your favorite design here. Maybe just the replicated many times because you can still use each one of them as a way to decorate Christmas. We should have Carter, the greetings for your family members, loved ones. Or you can use it exactly as an ornament on your Christmas tree. So you want more items with the same subject. And each one will be so special. And you can reuse it over the next year. So ready there. We are. We are waiting this one to cool down. Let's change again. So extract the green. Of course, you could also do it to this green if you wanted to leave this mistake, sir, is absolutely fine. So yellow is here. Again. The previous screen. Oh, it's coming out the yellow, so cute. Yes, yellows. Ready? Okay. Here, I want you to go one step forward. So you just take away your cool presenter ornament present. And you can take this one now as a reference, not adjust the model to go through because I want it to overlap this part with the yellow. You can do it. You practice a lot about lines. So you can just do it. As in this case, you can either do this, well, you can do this to fill it and make it cool writer. Then here you can just add the color by feeling it as you like. And with this simple ornament that you basically apply already many techniques that you need to do your project with the 3D pen. One thing is that the tips and tricks up is exactly this one. You remember we had the disbarred. Why did they do it? Because as we said, we want to do an ornament. So if you want to get you need the part to get it out like this. I cannot wait to see your projects, just share any stage of your journey on this. But if you wanted to continue to follow me now, even though as I told you, you basically have already all the knowledge and basic TreeSet to do amazing projects are, and by the way, they are cooling decide with texture. But also in this side they're super cool, right? In, in this part is also so shiny, is perfect. I really like it especially to get on a window because you will have also some, some effector is super I guess. So. Anyway, if you want to follow along, maybe in another day, I will still show you step-by-step how to do this one, this one, and this one. So if you like, see you in the next video, otherwise, please start just to share your creation and new idea that you get. Especially I'm so curious to see which ornamental you're going to do for Christmas. See you. 16. Ornament 3: tips to save the filaments: If you follow along with me up to now and you start with a starter kit over three depend. Most probably you will realize that your green is already going lower. So one strategy I have for you now is to try to make ornaments with different color palettes. What does it mean this one is that you use color, that people do not expect it to create your project and you might be surprised from the result. Then this one is the first strategy. The next one, we will talk about something else. The rest is issue. So let's put our blue. This one is not such a crazy palette. I still think blue fits very well. A Christmas ornament and follow the pattern before I was using yellow. So it is the blue coming. Oh, I see. You should wait, wait a bit. Because if he's still so hot that you can not just injuring to beat your finger. But it's also difficult to take it away, but while it's ready, so easy. So okay, let's go back to this one. Let's do our outline. I would just do the, this triangle shape for the feeling. You can do as before as we did in this one and make it a complete one. But again, if you want to save a little bit in filamentous, especially now that you have just the one available in the starter kit. You want it to be creative and use the lines. Maybe to help us stay filaments. But still give a brief idea of what your one to draw. Then you can just go through the pyramids are again, doesn't have to be perfect and you can stop anytime you need them. I will do with this Bertha blue. I can make sure that he felt like maybe this one I will feel it more. And now I will go back to the yellow to do this star, and to do this declaration. I will not move it. Move the blue. Meanwhile, let's prepare the yellow. Remember, it's super important to do not to jam your pen, to take away this part of the filament. So just cut it this way. Remove this one. Now this one is already waited for the pen. When the sound is off, that means that the pen is already put it vertical. Which sounds. Get ready for some, some blue to come out again because it was the previous color. The yellow is already ready. So now what I'm going to do is that to start with this one first, can you give me the factor? You can pass too many times to this Christmas decoration. So this Christmas decoration are going to keep the projector more stable and durable. We are. Then this add to this bar. Now you just have to be a little bit patient for the project. But basically we did the second style. Three. Oh, oh, oh, oh, we forgot something very important. Despite the fact that you might get outta in this part if you want to get on the top, but please remember to do 0. I did a disaster. Oh my gosh. Now you can still, Angus. Not so well, but you can still do it because I've finished actually my transparent paper. But this one is also a good chance to, to show you that you could do stuff with some abnormal paper, e.g. this one is my normal people. You see? The only difference when you use a normal paper is that when you remove it, Let's wait to know that it gets cooled. And the meanwhile, let's remove this one. This one is still hot. You see this one. It shows you very well the difference between when he's ready, let your most so easy and the part that is still hot, that is still sticking on the transparent pager. Just want might be almost ready. Yes. So yes, you can still get here. It's more difficult, but you can still do it. And you can remove this one in different ways. But let's say it's more for an advanced class because maybe a little more dangerous this part. But so the easy way to do it is just to take a ticket away with your answer carefully. Maybe use the scissors. Okay, here we are. I wanted to show you this one. You can still get it, but is more difficult. And the autophagy is that you might take away a part of the page, if, especially if it's a cheaper paper as the one that I used to print out the project. And the backside is not so shiny As is going to be with this one with the transparent paper. Basically, if you use a paper like this one that is much more thicker, will not have this problem. Definitely can show you here. So actually it's a very good people use one to two trials. If you don't have time to look for where you left your transparent paper. And another point is that when you use directly paper, this one will keep the project stick much more than when you use this one. But again, there are pro and contract, but anyway, this one is an advanced class. What I wanted to show you is that our project, our second tree is ready. You in the next one, if you want to follow today. 17. Ornament 4: 3D printer filament: So now I want you to do this tree. As I told you before. You. If you are running out of the filament that you need, in this case green most probably this green will barely help you to finish this project, but then you will not have it anymore. Go for watercolors that they are totally fine and actually we'll make variation in your project. Or of course you can buy the filaments are again, my suggestion on buying filaments is to go for pen that will support this kind of bigger chunk of filaments. It actually are made for 3D printer, not a 3D pen, but as I told you, there are some 3D pen not that also will work well with this one. It will make them work even better is to use high temperature. So maybe use the higher speed. You might need to have a little bit more confidence in the 3D pen before jumping on this one. But I just want also to put to this one there because you already did so many projects. So you might want additional tricks and insight about how to continue your journey with the 3D pen. But let's take out our yellow. In the meanwhile, we'll prepare the filaments. As in the other case, it's really important that this one has to be very consistent to do not to jump inside the pen. Take away the yellow when, when the sound is stopped, but we can start to proceed. Okay, Ready to go up? Another suggestion is that you see the curve of the filament like this. I would make the curve coming out in this way. Not in this way. I mean, it went my word, but in my opinion, I don't know if my empirical experience, this one works slightly better. When you're ready. Remember, expected to see the color that was independent core. I want to go this can help outline. I think this project is perfect to practice your skill set. Then the hope is to outline the power to make the outline very consistent and durable for the project. And make an outline a very strong that is super important. That effect, e.g. you wanted to fill it instead that we done full-color. Like in this case, that you wanted to go with lines to just the decorator, e.g. in this case, we could do simply. I didn't put it in the template because I want it to come out with also your own idea. Just to remember, the important thing is to make all the lines connected or will not be unique project. We will underline again the funniest project because we are going to do also ornamental. Of course, if you're using this one, you might have this issue. You're finishing so you want it just to pick out a little bit once the element. So this project actually is already ready to go because you don't need also to put the anger for the ornament because you can use this side. But I wanted to continue to show you how you can have the declaration and again, use a different color. So I'm going to take out this one. So let's just add some Christmas book. You can also come out with it. The important thing is that they have to be connected somehow with the previous line there. So-called Boer War didn't go. Okay. Maybe a light balanced composition somehow or not. And we are done with this project is ready you for the last one. 18. Ornament 5: shining filament: Oh, R&D, cool. For our last project, I wanted to show you a filament I have that I hope will work with the dip pen because there are also exactly spatial filament 3D printer, then sometime are a little bit more difficult to use with a 3D pen. So I will test it with you for you. So indicates I jumped the 3D. How to not use it. But let's try. So let me remove this one. And I will provide all the information also related to the material I use it in the file, in the resource part of this class. Hopefully I will also remember where I go to this one. I said Put it like two or three years ago. So that is perfect for Christmas writer. So the main one that the pen is finishing up here, you see, I would love to just cut it here. I want also to cut away this part because it is a little bit bended. And I don't want to risk my pen for this part. So I would just take away all this beam. And let's try and let's open. If it doesn't work, we can make it again with the color we already have. But I think it would be nice to finish this project for Christmas with this sparkling filament. Just makes sure maybe you have the higher temperature. And actually we can also do like this. You can change between IBS because even though this one is a PLA, filament with IBS, I will make the temperature even higher. Let's see. This one is just another trick. Just be careful to not touch the paper. It seems isn't working well. That is coming out and also the sparkling is arriving. Yes, I guess it's working congratulation pen. Not only bank can make it. So let's go with our outline. Oh, absolutely. It's going pretty well. You need to stop. Just stop it. Especially now when it's going too fast. Just remember, you can use any color is wonderful, adjusted to show you that there are many options in this war, the sparkle, your creativity. For this project, we do have to fill the inside. So let's do the angle here. Let's connect it well. But remember we do need to fill the inside because we want you to put hole so this Smiley face. And to do so, we need to have a base because each line on a 3D project needs to be connected. Like this. You can also turn they just Sparkling inside. I like the fact that this filament is also a little bit transparent. So I do see also to and get on a window and see the movie will give us some surprisingly effective with the light coming on. Here we are. Oh, well, I like it. So sparkling, so Christmas. Okay, let's remove it now. The first color I suggest you to buy in this kind of format, if you wanted to try, is over the black. Because you are going to use I mean, today we didn't because it's Christmas and because also I want you to save on the black. But yes, it is important to have black-owned handy. You will use it a lot. Now, the black is ready. Another tip is that, remember you don't have to remove each time the filaments. You just I mean, you can leave the filament inside the pen when when you turn it off for especially if it's the blacker, just leave it because if you use it the next time, it's already there already and you're not going to lose any extra parts and will save you also some work. So let's finish it now. If Smiley faces. Another way that you have to remove this filament is to do this, or this pen is not working very well. This part, we will cut it away. Just be careful. I know why it was so difficult to do this part and there are so many. You remember why? Because we left the fan on the high temperature. So when you have the black and go back on the PLA, in general, we'll all the normal color change on abs just when you're using spatial filaments. That also you will feel it from the filament itself. This one is stronger than the normal one that you use. It, it seems more flexible, more light. And so if the temperature is too high, you might have more of these additional power that you don't want that. And so then you can just remove it in this way and the cylinder. Okay. Ready to see? Oh, yes. Yes, our project is ready. I like it. Super dense instar. 19. Final Thoughts : Hey, there. If you reach this video is because most probably you made it till the end. So I wanted to say a big thank you. As you can see with these different projects that you can continue. Change, embellish as you like. You can even make your kids playing on. Where is the original template? You can make your own designer. And please just remember to share it in the project session. Shared it also in the social media if you like it, you can tag me and with the hashtag, mother Mama, or on my Instagram at the jumps solution will be so happy to share also your project on my stories between for the next lesson. Because many more are coming. And remember, if you wanted to learn also how to do your own templates to follow and maybe also to share, is going to come up another important class where we're going to prepare this one in procreate with the iPad. In the printable that you get as a freebie, you will find also another page with this designer in a smaller size and some additional design that you can start to try by yourself. Why I'm doing so is because even though you can use already this ornament in this shape. And I think actually for the Christmas tree, this one is the perfect shape you wanted to do. I want to use them in greetings card that you might want to something or to decorate some cookies bags. You might need them in a smaller size. So that is going to be like the half of this one. And also because I want you to practice more practice with the smaller templates and more of them will definitely allow you to get even more confidence with the 3D pen and get ready also to experiment on your own. I hope you liked this class. Please push the following buttons. You want it to be notified about new classes that I will do. And I really appreciate your support. Thank you so much. See you in the next class. Going out to me or no, I forgot something. If you reach this video, you did manage the whole class. So don't forget to go into resources and get your diploma. Because now you have a quote from my set of lines with a 3D pen. What are you waiting for? Go now, printed out is yours. I hope you had a lot of fun and see you soon. Bye.
