1. Intro: I am mother, mom, or visual artists, productivity gig, and with a background in computer science and usability particular. What do you know about the world of AI? You use the chapter before you confused about it, or do you already have an opinion? I'm recording this class in early 2023 in this situation is constantly changing and evolving. It respect to everyone's position. I wanted to present to you the topic from my direct and concrete experience, particularly as an artist and creator and creative person. In this class, I will explain what the chat GPT means to me today and now it can be used to refine our inspiration and receive a suggestion and feedback on our work to make it better. To communicate better. I show you how I think charter GPT can become a valuable aid to organize and refined creative ideas. Lpa, community helping me and you communicate in better with the audience and different channels. Combat procrastination, overcome language barriers, and produce more effective target and description for different contexts. And also print on demand website e.g. or other platform. Finally, I'll talk about some of the limitations and challenges that I personally encounter when using charts GPT, during the creative process. I'll give you a concrete example of projects that I've completed. I must admit that thanks to the virtual assistance of chats GPT, including e.g. finally, finishing the English version of my first children's book. And I just pay also some meats and at least currents, one that I've personally, personally discovered. Don't forget to download also your workbook to follow along in for future references. I summarize there for you the key points. Add concrete example of sentence that you can use to fit a GPD, but also quotes and books suggestion and space for you to make your own notes, consideration and ideas. That's all for now. I'll see you in the next video. 2. Project and Resources: As a project, I like to ask you to leave a sentence, a comment, or a photo about this topic. Even better if you'd like to share a link to a project or an idea or an article related. And that is fine too. Or a photo or a screenshot of your nodes in the workbook will be great. As a student of this class that you can download it for free. Just go and check the resources. In the spirit of respecting everyone's position. I love also for us to continue giving each other feedback and sharing ideas. The Skillshare discussion section, this topic is so dynamic, it's constantly evolving that I'm really curious to see what will happen next. Then for this reason, I want to go into detail on how to register login step-by-step. In such a pity. But in the resources, there is a PDF with useful links that I'll try to keep it updated with the evolution of this topic. With your feedback too, I hope I'll see you in the forum and in the next video, of course. 3. Organizing and Refining Creative Ideas: If the word that talks a lot about the potential of CBT in generating ideas and writing out of the blue full texter. As an artist, I tend to focus more on another aspect. How charter GPT can help me redefine an organized, the countless creative ideas that already crowd my mind and life. Do you also have thousands of project implementer or project that are there pending here, there everywhere. Well, this is the first aspect that I suggest you to delve into. What at least to give it a try. Talking, chatting about specific project or ideas with Pippin. Okay, opposite edge has confessed that they gave a name to charge a putty. Anyway, chatting with the GBD has been a real revelation for me. Let me try to explain that. But remember that this one is a very personal aspect and this contextualized to the team. The point is that explaining or asking for explanation or suggestion on a team approach, it's a context to church. Ebt allows me as an artist to have immediate, concrete and useful feedback on the creative and beautiful idea that I have. But that sometime in all too often, unfortunately, this idea are just that they're very vague and I even do not to try to concretize them or communicate them well. Even if D is that, well, it's just good but not perfect. Or the best communication e.g. because beauty is not infallible, I still feel that this one is a very powerful to concretize my idea for and finishing my project. Having a valuable and loyal support and support their overcoming the things where I feel more week. In short, my most memorable experience with Judge EBT are in the chats that started off poorly. The back-and-forth with the patient listener with eager to generate them. A focus on user for that response is incredible. You can instruct and channel the power of AI through simple yet targeted question. And this exercise, from my point of view, is very useful for materializing our creativity. At the end of this video, you will find some example of sentences I use while looking to define description, e.g. for my fabric designer Spoonflower. Because yes, I love to create pattern for fabrics and wallpapers. But terrible in describing them. Even in Italian, I think the reason is that we need feedback, but I cannot count on my friend or family for each pizza. Plus there is, of course also the English component. Well, I realize that this was really keeping my workflow down, but now I have the pinna. I can tell him my story for making that pizza. I feed him. My perspective and I think is patient feedback is really a game changer in improving. One of my biggest weakness in being a professional artist. In just a few weeks, you already feel much more confident about this aspect that previously limited for so many months, even hear my overall creativity and productivity as an artist. According to me, judges OPT is also unbeatable at the moment, at least in summarizing concept and the token stock of the situation. In other words, I think that is very effective in capturing the essence of an idea or situation and presenting it clearly and concisely. Disability can be very useful for artists who have many creative ideas to organize. And could we, could benefit from a quicker and clearer overview of their projects. Moreover, yes. I admitted. I still address with Thank you. Please. Could you please and so on. This form of courtesy or not unnecessary. But in my case, they increase the sense of well-being. In the creative process. The Peano also tends to respond accordingly. And in a certain way, I believe that this helps me strengthen my determination to effectively complete the project. Give it a try to let me know how it went for you. In the next slide, I'll leave you some example of sentence I use in this type of interaction. I hope it will help you and see you in the next video. For another idea. 4. Audience Communication: In this video, we are going to explore how charge a bit D can help harvest, communicate more effectively with their audience. As an artist, as I anticipated in the previous video, I often struggle with finding the right words to describe my work. That's where IGBT can be incredibly helpful by using natural language to communicate with Judge be t. We can get instant feedback on our description, titles and even artist statements. Let me give you an example. Say that you are creating a listing for an art print on online marketplace. You wanted to write a description that kept the extents of your worker, but you're not sure where to start. By chatting which IGBT, you can provide some basic information about the artwork, such as the medium or the subject matter. And get some ideas for how to craft a compelling and informative description. That the judge can do much more than that. It can help you refine your content. Also, according to the platform, you are going to use them. I'm still defining this workflow, but I think it, it already made the difference for me while posting e.g. in Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube or Facebook. First, I chat about my art piece that generally D, I have about the target audience where I see my design use width. And when I'm happy about it, ensure that chat GPT understood my message about my work. I asked him question, has them would you reformulate this description for an effective Pin description in Pinterest? Or what would be a catchy title for YouTube? Can you transform this text on a description of what an Instagram real? Again, I'm far away from having everything fixed them on my channels. But I suppose one of the future chat I'm going to have with Chuck GBD will be the one to fix my bias in the different platforms to reach more engagement. I guess this might be interesting also about artist statements. Chat GPT can help with that too. By discussing the artistic process and the teams that inspire our work, we could get suggestion for how to refine our statement and make it more impactful. But again, this is in my to-do list. I'm not done yet. In short-term. I think Judge apathy can be an invaluable to artist wants to improve their communication with their audience by providing instant feedback and suggestions for improvement. It can help you craft description, bias, and statement that occur currently capture the essence of your work and engage your audience with tips for different platforms to what are you waiting for. Give it a try and let me know how it works for you and see you in the next video where we will talk about overcoming procrastination. 5. Procrastination Overcoming: In this video, we will discuss our job to pick D can assist artist in overcoming procrastination and maintaining motivation during the creative process. As artists, it is common to feel stuck, distracted and the motivated. And this is where chunk GPT comes in by providing immediate feedback, offering suggestions in helping us stay focused. Judge, a boutique can be a powerful ally in our creative journey to take charge of our project and bring them to the end. Let me give you an example, specifically about a children's book publishing project. I know many have heard about exemple of people publishing books on Amazon in just a few minutes. Please note that this is not my perspective why chat GBT remains my trusted assistants and I will be the order of my boxer. And I do not plan to use neither their respective counterpart that generate images as Illustrator instead of my illustration. However, As Albertsons brainstorming and correction, I absolutely believe that the use of AI tools is not only useful, but also extremely effective. Personally. One of the things that, that kills my productivity, the monster, is waiting for feedback from others, even if it's just for a few minutes. In my case, the back-and-forth with Chuck GBD is truly powerful regarding the case of book. Here is the premises. As our next packed family living in German-speaking Switzerland, teaching my son, the concept of time at school was doubtless, difficult. A quick example. See it 35, you literally say 5 min after 09:30. Not pass that to the nine. Which sounds even more difficult if you say it in German. Trust me. Therefore, the idea for a book was born. The tackle, the team of understanding time and telling time. Filtering our beloved cat Oscar, who reveals it is magical nodes to the caudate whole. Even German. The Italian version with the final outline in German as being ready since January 2020 to the drafted in English, which was the ultimate goal since May 2022. But in the end, waiting for feedback here and there, I kept postponing yesterday with the pinna. I resume work and revise everything in one morning. To be clear. It didn't just translated. And in the end, the final version not only started from my work, but also ended up with the nuance that I wanted, not the *****. I believe The human authorial component is irreplaceable in making the Booker our own. But without the practical support of chat GPT, I certainly wouldn't have been satisfied with this stage alone in just one morning. Another way GPT can help with procrastination is providing you with the tools and resources. You can chat with GPT to get some tips and techniques on how to manage your time. Stay, focus, and avoid distraction. E.g. GBD can suggest some healthful habits and website that can help you stay organized. Trust me. I was personally amazed by the answer provided when I asked her. Do you know the Pomodoro Technique? In summary, Jeopardy can be an invaluable tool for our state wants to overcome procrastination and stay motivated during the creative process that they should have in the app. By providing immediate feedback, offering suggestions, and helping you stay focus chat GPD can help you achieve your creative goals and realize your artistic vision. However, in my opinion, as I said, you should always be used as a tool to support your own creativity. What do you think? Join me in the next video where we will discuss how chatter GPT can help pass it with the language barrier breaking. I can not wait for tell you more about this part. 6. Language Barrier Breaking: In this video, we will discuss how we can assist them, not the native English speaking artists, in breaking down language barriers and communicating more effectively with their audience. But it could be useful for anyone dealing with two or more languages at the same time in any field or project. As an artist, it is crucial to express yourself clearly and effectively in order to create a strong communication with your audience. We already said that wherever for non-native English speaker, language barriers can often present a significant challenge. This is where Chad GBD comes in as an expectant mother in an international family. Trust me, I know the frustration on formulating difficult concepts in a language that is not your mother tongue. And since I am based on a German-speaking Switzerland, I experienced this fact daily, not adjust with English but also with German. The next step will be for me, Swiss, German, and yes, I think you can consider it an extra language. Sometime. Paradoxically, the problem is also additionally the opposite. Yes, you have a beautiful word in another language printed clearly in your mind, but you don't know how to render it effectively in your native language or in English. Well, on one end, I know that GPT cannot help me with the discomfort of a stronger Italian accent. But okay, maybe for that. That's why I found my, my your suits. But on the other hand, chad TBD as truly revolutionize my, my ability to express myself. Because we charge BT again, use whatever language or languages. I want them. Even altogether. I'm not joking. When I interacted. I can get, and I can guarantee that this will work well in all the languages. But personally, with Italian, English, and German, it already seems like pure magic to me. Chad GBT doesn't care about my linguistic casa. I interacted with him in the language of the moment, even mix it together, and I arrive at the concert I want with precision. When I'm convinced of what I like, I ask a question like, can you formulate it is now in an attractive version in English? Or how can I summarize this for a flyer for my next up 3D pen class in German, in a language that is friendly, considering that the students will be elementary school teacher. Elementary school children. Sorry. Of course, as we already mentioned, I tend to correct or modify the text that the chart GPT as reformulated. Possibly this happened many times. And in the end, I still have basket to check the grandma, the syntax, and the clarity in the final language of my context. With the request like, Could you please check that this text is well-written? Grammar, syntax, clarity. Again, charge a, B, D is not valuable. But if I find the narrower, I write it to charge. So fun and adorable to see how we apologize. But it's really a great ally for those like me who needs to focus on the actual task content in excluding these linguistic interferences. And they still usually edit even the final version. Because the final content will talk for me, not for chat GPT, right? But after this reminder, I personally experienced that with its advanced, with his advantage natural language process capability, GPT can truly help a non native English speaker translate the text, the incorrect grammatical error in real time, making it easier for them to express themselves more clearly in their art projects. Again, in real time. Not interested. If you are creating an art piece that requires text in English, but you are not confident in your grandma skill. You can use chat, you pithy to check and correct your grammar mistakes and such a big deal can also help you communicate better with your audience. If you receive a message or a comment from someone who speaks a different language or English comment that doesn't make sense to you. You can use the chat to B, D to translate their message into your native language, or vice versa. This can help you better understand your audience and engage with them more effectively. I think. In conclusion, chatting back and forth with Judge apathy can be an incredibly valuable tool for not native English speakers speaking artists that wanted to break down language barriers and communicate more effectively with their audience. Saving so much time in boosting your confidence. Whether it involves translating texts than inquiring about the term or expression, fixing grammatical error, or assisting with audience comprehension. Check GPT can aid in expressing oneself more clearly, allowing for more time to concentrate. You are a distinct piece and vision and goals. In the next video, we will explore how Jack can assist also with the description and type of production. 7. Descriptions and Tags: As an artist who understand the importance of promoting your work online. One effective way to do this is by creating high-quality description and tags that are currently represent your heart and increase the visibility to potential buyers. However, easy to say it into the right. If you're not unnatural writer, finding the right words to describe your work can be challenging. This is where GPT can help with this advantage at advanced it natural language process capabilities. Judge, can assist you in producing effective description and tags for your heartworm in a matter of seconds. By analyzing your artworks content and utilizing its extensive knowledge of the English language, can generate the description and tags that accurately convey the style, the team, and the tone of your work, increasing, hopefully, its chances of being seen by the potential buyers, right? In addition to generating description and tags, can also aid you in creative, creative, and attention grabbing, grabbing titles for your artwork by analyzing your worst content and style. Charge a boutique and suggest the titles that are both memorable and descriptive. Enhancing your worst chance of being seen, again, awfully remember, by potential bias. As previously mentioned, it often has a charge to be d, to contextualize my description and tags for different platforms that I'm going to post them. To do this, I recommend having different chat channels for different platforms or creating a template, e.g. in Google documents to save your most effective charge beauty queries. By using GPT, you can save time and energy on variety. Description and tags are allowing you to focus on more on creating the art. If you use multiple print-on-demand websites like me. Also, that each platform has different forms and requirements. Using GPT to Husker to help you with simple task. It is related also to ask him to help her foot formatting tags to match these requirements of the different platform. And I think I can save so much time that you would typically just spent boringly on this trivial task. For instance, let's say that you have some effective hashtag already there for your artwork on Instagram. But now you want to use them on other platforms, like red bubble or Spoonflower. Well, in this case, you should take away the hashtag symbol and just use commas. So you could ask her IGBT, something like, could you please write this hashtag list for me without the hashtag symbol and separate them with commas. And IGBT will provide you with the desired output. This way, you can easily copy and paste that tags to use them on other platform without having to manually time-consuming Lee, revise them every time. Moreover, using GPT can give you the confidence to promote your work more effectively. Knowing that you have a high-quality description and tags that accurately reflect your art. This has been a game changer for me. In conclusion, can be a valuable tool for artists looking to promote and sell their work online. Whether you need a system generating description, tags or titles, chat GPT can provide you with the language you need to, uh, currently and effectively showcase your work to potential buyers. However, after presenting these five ways that foot artists to use chat gbd, we must talk about some limitations and challenges that you should be aware. At least. These are there at the moment. So see you in the next video where we're going to talk about them. 8. Limitations and Challenges: Welcome back. In the previous video, we talked about how diabetes can be a useful tool for artists that in various ways, from helping redefining the ideas and inspiration to translating text and creative effective description and tags are for our artworks. However, as with any technology, there are also some limitations and challenges in using GPT for art creation. One of the most obvious limitation that I found, the fact that GPD is only as good as the data, it has been trained on. White chalk. Gpt has access to a vast amount of information from the Internet. It is still limited by the biases and limitations of that data. E.g. if the data is biased toward a certain style or genre of art that might not be able to generate ideas or suggestions outside that style origins. Another limitation is the fact that GPT, my sometimes generate responses that are not entirely original. Since judgy picky as access to so much information, it might sometime generate responses that are similar to existing artworks or idea. This is why it's crucial your input. While this can be helpful, in some cases, it can also be a challenge for artists were looking to create something truly unique and original also in the description. To avoid becoming too reliant on EI generator responses and maintain a sense of originality in one's heart. It's important to use chat GPT as a tool rather than a substitute for owns own creativity. This means that using GPT to generate ideas and inspiration, but also using one's own judgment and creativity to develop those ideas further and create something truly original. Another suggestion is to use chat GPT in conjunction with other tools or resources such as books and magazine and art galleries, museums. By exposing our oneself or to a wide range of sources, one can develop a broader perspective and the more diverse set of influences which can help to create more unique and original artwork. As of February 2023. Now, there are also some technical limitation to keep in mind when using GPT. The first is that IGBTs knowledge is limited at the end of 2021, meaning it cannot make prediction based on data. It doesn't have access to. Another limitation is that the conversation are limited to the chart itself. If I taught because discussing one chat, chat GPT might not have reference to another chart we did with him. Finally, it's important to remember that the final work should always be the artist's own. Even when using charts GPT for inspiration or guidance. While OPT can be helpful, the artist's own creativity, in my opinion, and their style should always be the driving force behind the work. In conclusion, while there are some limitations and challenges in using charts to PT for art creation, it can still be a useful tool for artists who are looking for help and feedback while doing their communication by using GPT in conjunction with other resources and tools, and by maintaining a sense of originality and creativity, artists can use technology to enhance their artistic practice and create truly unique and original works of art. That's it. For this video. See you in the next one for the final thoughts and closing. 9. Final considerations: If you made it to this video. Thank you so much for following along with this entire class. I hope I've provided you many useful insight on GPT on this perspective. And I hope that looking at it from this creative perspective has been interesting. It's a truly current and evolving topic. For now. That's all. But I hope there will be new episodes. If you want to stay updated. Remember to press they follow here. Skillshare. If you like it, I will be truly homeowner. If you wanted to leave a review. It would be really important also to support this new adventure as a teacher on this platform, I can't wait to see your contribution or what you think in your project session and also to continue in the forum in the discussion side. For now. I hope to hear from you soon and see you next time. Bye.
