I've held onto this idea that success means quietly doing my thing until being discovered.

The beautiful lesson in this class (which I so desperately needed), is that success actually lives in the first part of my statement. The "quietly doing my thing" part. Doing it because I can't not do it. Doing it for the sake of doing it. Doing it because I am lucky enough to live a life that allows me time and opportunity to discover and explore and experiment and learn and share and make art.

So then success, redefined: To consistently create; to broaden my abilities through exploration and practice; to share of myself, rather than for myself.
