Defining success. . .

Living in the over achiever realm - success is often attributed to career ladder climbing or financial advancement so it can be a little bit hard to switch thinking patterns about success. What if you are developing your skills and growing but you feel as if your success is not "happening" becuase you do not have a steady income from your art, or even may have a job? And if you are not employed steady - how are you successful then? Well, this lesson pushes those boundaries.
This lesson acknowledges that sometimes success is not one particular event for example - publishing a book. It is hard to view things with such an embracing hold and that is what this lesson is like. In a time when everyone seems to have careers or a milion followers and you are just starting out and are truly in a rebuilding process, success is realigned to what you know - financial independence so this lesson challanges that with the idea that as you do more art, that success will come.
Success can be as simple as placing one step in front of the other and as unknown as this is, success is believing in something larger. My definition of success has changed and I am hopeful that my art will help me to get to recognize my new definition.
