My old definition was to perfect my craft to the point of a career and/or being available for commissions. While this is a realistic goal down the line, I think my new perspective is to define success as confidence in my work. I do not see myself quite at that point of success, but I feel that I am moving in that direction. This course has given me perspective to help me see that the act of making in itself is a success, something I would like to internalize more as I create.

The following is a work that I think demonstrates my progress and movement towards my goal of redefined success. While not perfect, I do feel more confident in what I have created as a practice sketch.
