Andreea Mirica grew up in a small city called Ploiesti, in Romania. Since she can remember, she has been wandering around in fictional worlds.

Many of these beloved worlds inform her work. She steals a bit of Woolf's intricacies of mind, Fowles's symbolism and Kate Morton's calmness.

A reflective, slower pace is essential to her in life, as in art.
