starting a YouTube channel? I got 200 thousand subscribers
on my YouTube channel. I had over a 100 million
views on my YouTube channel. I fell in tennis you to
ecosystem thing on accident. It really want to be a YouTuber. I was just a wrapper. Try to make some music that had no jar number one or I told they're getting
millions of streams. But I learned to
market your music. You gotta be on social media. And I learned a
game with YouTube. I learned algorithm of YouTube, not learned all these little
secrets that can really help grow your channel when
you're first starting out, makes you finish
every single lesson because there's gonna be
gyms in here that can help you grow your
YouTube channel and getting more and more views which can help your
business to help your brand grow tremendously. I look forward to
seeing your lessons and knocked upon ya, stay true.
2. A Simple Course Project: If you watch a YouTube channel to really get serious growth, you have to absolutely
niche down. This course project
is extremely simple, but it's something that
a lot of YouTubers escape and they skip over
before they even start. I want to make sure
that you do is you can maximize all the value inside this class if you want your
YouTube channel to really grow the best way to do
this from the beginning, make sure you are
nourishing down. This class project
is really simple, but it's super
important because I've seen so many YouTube creators skip right over this
and they wonder why their channel gets
off to a slow start. This is what I want you to do. I want you to go to the
notes app on your phone. And I want you to write a topic that your YouTube
channel is about, not just a topic, the topic, the main topic that it's about. Now I want you to
take a screenshot of that and I want you to upload it in the description box
if you feel comfortable, right, other keywords or other topics that your
channel will be about. But you need to make sure you
have one main solid topic. So that way all your content and everything inside is
course is rooted in net. So take your time
right now though, complete the class project. Do it exactly like an AES. And when you see someone
else was already done it go comment on theirs and see I might be able
to collab already because you might
have similar topics. Go complete the class
project right now, not the pond. Stay true.
3. How To Pick A YouTube Channel Topic: If you're starting
off on YouTube, you got to make sure that
Joe channel is locked in and nice gay people need to know that when they type
B your channel name. And they're gonna get
specific information about specific topic that they can only find there because it's delivered that way. Picking your channel topic
is extremely important, but I do not want
you to stress about this because as a
YouTube career goes on, your interests are gonna change, your content's gonna change. You can always change
your topic down the line when you're
starting a YouTube channel makes sure you have a
specific niche down topic and you keep hitting
content about that topic. How do you know what
topic to choose? Honestly? Can you buy me, tell you
what topic you choose? That's up to you. What are you passionate about? What do you find yourself arguing with your friends about? What do you find
yourself sending links about when you go to the homepage has
already explored pages of other social media platforms. What do you see it on there? What type of creators, what type of content are
they making these videos? Short form or long form? Isn't graphics was about money, it's about basketball,
it's about women. It's about haircuts
without makeup. What is it? Who are your favorite
creators studied him? Why do you like them, though to your YouTube history? And look at your last 20 videos that you watch for leisure. Why did you watch those videos? This is the content that
you're already into. This is the stuff you're
already consume it. This is a constant or an expert
about if you're doing it in your leisure and free time when you're not
getting paid for it, don't you want to
get paid for it? That's exactly what you can do when you pick your
YouTube topic. Makes sure it's self-serve
hashed about nozzle, about, because the audience to see right through the
camera if you fake it. Now as you're thinking
about what you want your YouTube topic to be, you need to think
about what type of YouTuber you
want to be as well. What do I mean by that? When it comes to YouTube, there are essentially
three types of YouTubers. You have education, you
have entertainment, and you have a
radical education, is someone who teaches you
how to videos tutorial, how to grow your
YouTube channel. You're watching right
now, entertainment. So when it might make you
laugh, why am I making cry? Someone that has seeing
what I could dance? They might even make
skits or reaction videos, which are Washington purely
for entertainment value. And erotica is someone you're into because I had a look at a accentuate your looks or even So what I might be a
fitness influencer, they use their body in the results that they have
from their discipline, lifestyle to build
their business. But it still can be
classified as erotica. I call these the three E's. Which one of the three
E's do you want to be? I'm not saying you
gotta be education, entertainment, and
erotica specifically. It could be a combination of
all three or maybe just two. But you have to understand
which one is your main driver. Just like you're going
to have a YouTube topic, that's your main driver. You have an E, that's
your main drive. Once you combine
those two, you know, you're going to be off
to a fantastic start, which a YouTube channel.
4. A Simple YouTube SEO Tutorial: In this lesson, go
consistently hear me talk about Nietzsche now, because that's the only way YouTube really know
what your channel is about is when you niche down what you need
to add on YouTube, every single piece of metadata needs to be talking to
each other right here, I'm gonna talk to you about
the first piece of metadata that you need to input when you start your
YouTube channel, and that's your
channel keywords, your chatbot keywords
lead you to know exactly what your channel is about and what type of videos you're gonna
be talking about. This, the first piece of
metadata that Google looks at when a user type the keyword
into the Google search. And if your YouTube channel has that key word in
the channel keywords, now U2 knows, we might
have something here. Let's send somebody to
that YouTube channels. So how do you know
which key words to pick I'm about to
show you right here. Let's go to the screen. All right, now we are
inside of the screen. This is vid IQ.com, the best YouTube SEO tool out. If you are serious
about YouTube, you got to give that IQ. I have an affiliate
link. Go use that. If not, just go to
vidIQ.com, get it, installed it as free download
extension. I love it IQ. I'm gonna show you
some really cool stuff when you're picking your channel keywords are four things that you
really need to do. The first step you need
to do is you to come here to vid IQ and you talk about your channel topic
with vid IQ by talked about, type it into search keywords. I got a few channel topics, but I'm going to
just type in one than that will work
really well for his video and I'm typing
affiliate marketing. When you type in your keyword, you see all these
things that pop up. You've got trending videos
inside and all this stuff, and I'm about to explain
it to you right here. You've got your actual
keyword that you typed in. You got your related score to the keyword
that you typed in. You've got your source value. What is the search value? Search volume is
the average number of times people search for this exact keyword on
YouTube each mouth. So that means this keyword
affiliate marketing, is searched for over 2
million times a month. That's amazing. Search volume. Competition
is how many videos are on YouTube competing for this keyword
at the same time, a lower number is better
and much less competition. This says medium has a
proprietary number, 41.2. I just go with a
medium high, low. So obviously in a dead band, overall score is
a measure of how attracted as keyword is
to you as a creator, a higher number is better. So what they're doing is they're taking the
search volume number, technically competition number, coming out with a
proprietary number to give it to you based on what they
know about your channel. Just pay attention to really
these two right here. There's overall number
might fluctuate, but green is good. 70 is amazing AT
is really great. 90 union. Make a video about
that topic right now, when I am choosing
channel keywords, I am not concerned
about overall deadly, concerned about number of wars. And you get rid of
this right here. Not really just starting about competition when it comes
to channel keywords, because this is a
YouTube channel, what are concerned about
is searched value, how many people are
typing these keywords in? I wanted to keywords that
have the biggest surge value. And what you can do, you can
click this arrow right here. It goes down, it goes up, gives you the lowest, but we
were already on the highest. What's gonna bring us
back? Unrelated keywords. You can see make money
online 1.9 million. How to make money online? 1.6 million, passive
income, 600 thousand. These are keywords
that I have in my channel that I want to be a part of
what I have going on. So what I will do, I will
just scroll through here, see which ones look
really good to me. I'll see a lot that I like. I'll go here and I'll click one. I do like, like
how to make money online vid IQ or
reset it for you. You can come back over
here, you can look to see affiliate marketing or money, online finance, etc, etc. So keep doing this until you
find about ten keywords. And then once you
find your hand, the next step is
you're gonna do, you're gonna come over here to your actual YouTube channel. When you come over to
your YouTube channel, I want you to do this. You're going to be
on the homepage. You want to click about. You're going to go to
your description section. You can edit this
on the backend. We go inside of your settings, but I want you to just
look at my description. I made sure that I put my keywords inside
of the description. So what I did is
I put Investing, digital marketing, advertising, social media marketing,
affiliate marketing, how to make money online, monthly passive income
concept marketing, how to make money on YouTube, how to invest, learning
how to invest, learning how to invest in
stocks and invest in stocks, how to invest in crypto, had invested crypto coins, crypto coins, Bitcoin, Ethereum, cryptocurrency, Mehta
versus these are all keywords and
our MO description, like I said on your back gaining come over here, you
can click settings. This allows you to
edit all of this, but this is amazing. So make sure that you
put this in here. This is a great, great tool that people do not
pay attention today, do not put their keywords
inside of child description. It's a great way for you to
get ahead the third day. Need to have to put your keywords sighted
child description, and come over here,
I'm gonna click this button that says
Customize channel. And when you do that
is going to bring up this page which is
channel customization. You can come over here
to the gear icon, right here in the lower-left
settings, click channel, you're going to input
your actual keywords here on your channel one-by-one
and put them in there. Now your channel has keywords
and make sure you hit Save, make sure you close. And the last thing that
you're going to do, if you're going to make sure
every single video that you have a description that has
put those keywords in there. So what I'm gonna do, I'm
gonna come over and we'll show you all my actual video. Youtube studio. I will
take the video and I just did his long-form video
posted like a day ago. Click this right here. We have a description
that I have prime for every
single YouTube video. Something else you can
do behind the scenes and your settings on your
upload defaults. And in this I have
a little blurb. Where are right about the key words a little
bit differently, but to make sure
that they are on every single video
inside the description. So under no Who am I section
I may Sure I'll talk a little bit about
myself and I'll put these keywords in here now, technically you aren't supposed
to list them like that. But because I have so much stuff written inside of
this description, I'm not really going
to get punished for that because YouTube knows that my video really is about the things
I'm talking about. So this is just
something that I put on every single video. It makes sure that these
keywords I've put in there, and it's written a little
bit differently than what you saw in the
channel description. So this is something else
that you need to do as well. Make sure when you go
to your upload defaults here on YouTube that
you allow yourself to have a little
paragraph inside of your description that allows you to put your keywords in
there every single time. So just so you all
can see there, we've got a channel
customization. We won't go to settings, we won't go to Upload
defaults, right? You can put your
description right here. And as you scroll down, sorry, zoom this out. There it is right there. So make sure you do
those four steps. As soon as you start
your YouTube channel, I'm gonna see you
on the next lesson.
5. How To Brand Your YouTube Channel: How the brand name
due to chance. This is something that a lot
of people struggle with, is something that a
lot of people ignore. This is something that
can be a constant data when you are a YouTuber, you are costly thinking about, even though this is
a video platform, how can I present myself in a graphic design
static color form? And there are a couple of things that you want to make sure you do when you have a YouTube channel and
you want to brand it, the first thing you want to do, you got to pick colors. Anyone has followed
group EDI twos's, the beginning of the company. You know, that there was one color that we really
surround ourselves with. You know, there was
one color that we constantly made sure
that we had around. There's other stuff in
here I don't want to grab because it's a color that people trust in the
music business. There's a lot of
people that are shady. They're allowed people
to try to steal from me. And I wanted to make
sure if we were working with ours and musicians, that they understood that
we cared about them. So therefore, I pick the
color blue because in color psychology, blue
represents trust. I don't have too many rules when it comes to picking colors. It's up to you. You guys see it every day, you
gotta deal with it. But I will say, whatever the most popular negative connotation
needs or your industry, I would pick the color
that's opposite of that. Like I just told you,
all people didn't trust people in the music
business law chose blue. The reason I tell you that
is because as a YouTuber, you're gonna get criticize people won't talk
crazy batching. They not going to
like how you looked or document like your content. They're gonna assume
that you're trying to get over our take
something from them. If you know whatever is coming your way and you can defend
it off top, why not do that? In some industries people
are really trusting. Maybe in those industries
people are constantly scared. So rayon is a color
that frightens them, do something that's observed
rate is really happy, like yellow or orange. Do look at a color psychology, we'll see right now
what colors represent, what emotions see, what colors are attached
to, what brands, famous brands that you
might have seen over the years and see
what colors fit you and used it as a color for your brand in everything you
do on your YouTube channel. The second thing
you need to do if you want to brand
new YouTube channel, yeah, think about your font. All thoughts convey
some sort of tone. They convey a certain message. Bold means one thing. All caps can mean another thing. Italicize can mean
another thing. Someone lowercase
in the first letter of your first name can mean disrespect you have to
understand is because your audience subconsciously
understands this. They are subconsciously been trained with font psychology. Like I just told you
about color psychology, you need to the exact same
thing would font psychology. And in once you find
a font that you really like and she
really rock with, that needs to be the font
that you use all the time. And this can be
difficult when you have outside video editors
and graphic designers and website desires
that people that are working on your business
or your YouTube, it can be very difficult to get them to consist
the use of font, but the more you do this, the more people are
going to know about you and who you are and
what you have going on. And you'll be able
to stand out from the crowd and a
thorough way to brand yourself on Youtube off top
is your profile picture. A lot of people overlook
their profile picture on YouTube because it's not
really a pitcher platform. People don't pay attention
to the pictures like that. But the thing about the profile
picture I'll YouTube is this is how third-party
platforms that run their API. You want to go google
that go do that. Off of YouTube. Finds you, identify
you and bless you. Whatever picture you
pick as your profile pic on YouTube that is going to
be all over the Internet. Make sure it's
representing your brand. Make sure it's not something
that's unprofessional. Make sure it's not southern
has two opposite colors, but what you're trying
to convey makes sure that the
messaging is there. Now I'm not saying you have some elaborate beautiful
color psychology, thought psychology, jim,
of a profile picture, if you can do that, do it. But understand that when people
see your profile picture, they're going to think
something about you as well. And when your
profile picture and your colors and your
thought all align, it makes it a lot
Egypt to deliver that message to your video. See you next lesson.
6. How To Use YouTube Features: If you are a part of
the social media game, you are here via for
people's attention. And there is no tougher place
to get someone's attention. Then on the YouTube homepage, I don't have the exact
numbers are fun of me because it's practically
no way to notice. But I know from my channel, about 60 to 70% of my viewership and
long-form videos comes from our homepage. So that means whatever
branding you're doing to your video thumbnail title, they've going to talk
about in this section. It has to be on-point because you are competing
against everybody else was trying to get
their one-click to get that YouTube user
in their funnel. So you can start
this session time. So YouTube completion or video, it can reach a bigger audience. Here are two features that people really don't use that can absolutely push you on people's homepages and
plus you on the back-end, the first feature is permitted. I don't care how
long your video is. I don't care when it's
going to come out. When you upload your
video ahead of time, you absolutely need to
hit the premier button. The reason we hit
the premier bud is because it automatically, since the e-mail to
every single one of your followers that you have a video that's going
to be premiered. In addition to that, it
puts it on if all of their homepages desk
subscribing to you. Now people can liked the video. What pushes the algorithm? Now people can write comments on the video with
pushes the algorithm. Now people can share this upcoming premiere video
which pushes the algorithm. In addition to that, when your fans started doing all that based on a
title on based on the thumbnail and Amy
was seen that video yet you notice videos
about to go off. So now you know that this is a topic you might need to
talk about in the future. I've had videos that are
posted on my channel. Downward three weeks out is so many of my fans started
liking a comment on them. I'll move them up and
drop them that same day. I'll rewarded my fans
for their engagement, are rewarded for
their enthusiasm. They feel like their are
part of the premier process. I don't know why more people, they'll use a premier feature, but if you can upload your
videos ahead of time, make sure you do that. It makes you press
that premier button because most people don't
do that because they legs. The second feature, not that many people use it
without things because a people didn't
know about it and NB not LP wet access to
it. But I'll just change. That's the YouTube community. Youtube community is a tab on your YouTube channel where
you can post pictures. You can post tweets, you can post GIFs, you can post polls, you can write blog posts, journals, whatever it
is you want to do is another way for you to engage
with your YouTube audience. The great thing about the
YouTube community pays is it has its own algorithm. I thought initially that they only pushed into
your subscribers. Now, they pushed the anybody's
come by your channel or has wit towards channels
that are similar to yours. So this is a great way to grow
your audience more growth, heck, when it comes to
the YouTube community, is the poll feature. I love the poll feature. Why? Because people are social
media. It is what it is. They're cowards. Lot of people just
want to be negative, or they just want a
voice or a painting. What a pole allows them to do is it allows them to
voice their opinion, whether it's positive
or negative, quickly and anonymously. Whenever I Premier
a long-form video, I'll write a question that is pertaining to that
law in for video, I've put the link to the long-form video of under
that question and I made that question a poll with only two answers because
that's what I've seen, get the most engagement. You will be shocked
at the amount of volts you get on these poles in every vault you get
pushed the algorithm and since you have your
link inside their poll, people go and see the link
for your video as well. Outstanding feature
that has gotten me probably hundreds of
thousands of views. The two SEO tools
you need to use for your YouTube videos premiered. Community bonus. If you use the pole
inside the community.
7. How To Start Your YouTube Channel Outro: Ducts, my swans,
welcome to the pond. Was that their heart? Absolutely not. Seo sounds like a
complicated term, but it really took a
complicated to me. I mean, now got out of
pit channels offers. Now, you know how to
do that IQ research. Now you're not a
branch of channel. Now, you know to you two features that
most people don't use. You are gonna be
ahead of the game. But do you want to be
