1. How To Make Great YouTube Shorts Intro: The ducts, vast swamps. Welcome to the pond. My name is Dorian from
group AT to university.com. And today we're gonna
talk about you. Short, YouTube shorts is
YouTube's answered to tick tock, Instagram Reels and any
other short form platform, YouTube shorts can get you views and subscribers
and watch time. So I wanted to make
sure I dedicated lessons to specifically how to grow your channel
using YouTube short. We're going to talk
about how to title YouTube short to
get great views. We are talking about
how to get a team to automate your YouTube shores. We're gonna talk about
how you can get paid from YouTube shorts from day one. But what do I know about you
two shorts I started posted seriously on my YouTube channel
and around his ally 2020. At that time I had probably 900 subscribers and I probably
had 2 thousand views. Since then, I have posted
700 long-form videos, probably 600 short videos. I am sitting here at 200
thousand subscribers at a 115 million views. So make sure you participate in everything inside this course, everything inside
these sections, everything inside
these chapters, because U2 shorts
and stuff that I could take your
channel from 0 to subscribers to 50,006 to eight months if you really dedicate yourself to the craft. So look forward to
seeing you on the rest. Of course, I'm after
pot ya stay true.
2. A Simple Course Project: For your course project, I want you to be a
little vulnerable. I want you to go to
your very first U2 short onto the grabbed the thumbnail and a
screenshot and upload it. And I want you to
place the link of that U2 short in the course
project section. If you don't have a
YouTube short yet, Guess what that means for you and you think will make a U2. Sure, you need to
upload it here. Go to what's the point of
learn about you too short. If you don't have a U2 short, I don't care what is it? Give me a YouTube
short of you making a YouTube short about
making your YouTube short. But his class just go upload
it so we can comment on it. So everybody's on the same page. I look forward to
your YouTube shorts mapped upon, ya stay true.
3. YouTube Shorts Vs. YouTube Longs: U2 shorts versus you to
loans versus you to meet. Actually, we're not going
to talk about you To me. It's just gonna be a whole
another day in town. Right now, we're talking about U2 shorts versus YouTube lungs. These are two entirely different YouTube's and you have
to understand this. You cannot approach,
are you too short? The same way that you approach the U2 longs and will tell you the difference
between the two right now, U2 shorts are videos that
are 60 seconds or less. These are videos
that you're going to use your YouTube app on your phone to make an edit
and upload it right there. These are videos that
are various limits. Tiktok to Instagram Reels, to Facebook rails and the
sort of short form content. That is what a
YouTube short years, YouTube shorts do not really populate other to
search feature like that. At this moment,
U2 shorts are not there to keep your audience on the platform for
a very long time. Youtube shorts are there to stop your audience and
get them to get inside your fellow to
come to your channel, which will lead them to
the things that will keep them there for
a very long time. Youtube logs, this is your
traditional YouTube video. This is the video that when
you type something into Google or you type it in the YouTube is a
video that pops up, is the video at the
very pretty thumbnails. They had been building
these entire empires around YouTube longs. There's a problem with
you, two longs, long. And there's a lot
of other social media platforms that came at YouTube because YouTube
was too long and they were extracting
the crown jewels. And while he's long videos and making them in
short form content. So that's why we
got YouTube shorts. But that doesn't mean that U2
lungs will not have value. U2 loans is how Alphabet, the parent company of
Google and YouTube, makes 80% of their money. And I want you to go look up how much alphabet is worth today, YouTube longs is the information that your audience is going
to be searching for work. Youtube longs are the
videos that allows you to connect with your audience
and develop that rapport. You need to use you too
long to tell your story, to give context, to
establish connection. Because in your
short form content, they want the information so they can go onto the next thing. But in YouTube logs they
want this right here. This is your opportunity and your YouTube long format to let your audience know
that they can trust you. You give them
factual information, and you're here to
give them value. Now the great thing about YouTube longs and
YouTube sources, even though they are separate, I can be integrated as well. One YouTube log
of 60 minutes can equal to ten 30-second
YouTube shorts, at least when you are
making your YouTube long, think about what short
form content that you can extract from that
wants to videos done.
4. How To Make YouTube Shorts: How to make YouTube source, they get views, no fluff. We don't get right
to it literally. That's how you make YouTube
shorts to get views. No fluff. You've got to get right to it. These are not law for videos. Don't nobody wanted to
hear your anthro donor by care about where
are you from. They came here for a
specific information. So make sure that you give
them that information. It gets straight to the
point because if not, they're going to scroll
past because this isn't mentality and most
people who are consuming short form content, you have to prepare for the exodus of their
thumb, go into the roof. So these are some questions
that you should ask yourself before you make to you too short to see if it's going to get
people to stick around. Number one, what do I want the audience to take
away from this video? You have to get value in
shorts, whether it's comedy, whether it's some
investing gyms, you gotta get straight
to the point. And people who got to
see that if I give them my attention for two
to three seconds, then I'm going to
get exceptional value out of this because in the first two or three
seconds that they all see that they're
out of here. So make sure you know what you want to give the
audience in the video. And it makes sure you tell the audience what they're going to get from
you in the video. Number two, can I close
numbers in the title? I know this sounds
kind of weird, but numbers have a total
different silhouette schema inside of the human brain. That words don't. When you see the word 1 million
and you see $1 million, they look totally different. One looks a lot better than
the other because of this, anytime you can use numbers in your title for you to shores, please do this in
addition to putting your title in the upper
half of the screen, this is valuable real estate that when people
are scrolling up, this is what they're
going to see first. This is what they're
going to stop on and this is what's gonna
get their attention. Had your title up
here with numbers. And that is a great
way to get people to stop on YouTube shorts. And the best question to
ask about YouTube videos, if you want to get views is
where do I want to send them? I noticed sounds like
a selfish question, but YouTube's shorts do a great job of bringing
traffic to your page. Or YouTube, does a terrible job. I'm bringing YouTube ad
revenue to your page. You aren't making
content for free. You're taking your time, so you deserve to
get paid from this. You need to make sure that
whatever traffic you're getting from your YouTube
shorts, that sure. Sending it somewhere and makes
sure that you're sitting somewhere where you
can get paid now, does that sound selfish? Yeah. It is selfish, but at the same time, if you know where you
want to send them, they'd you know, what value
you got to give them. Which leads back
to question one, which aligns everything inside
of this entire section. That's going to make you to
have great YouTube shorts that's gonna get you views.
5. How To Build A Team To Create YouTube Shorts: How to build a team to create
You Tube short videos. I don't care who you are. Don't care how much
you love that and I don't care how much
he loved his YouTube. Again, you're going to get
to the point where you were tired of doing
all the work yourself. And if you understand
very early on how to communicate with editors when
the stakes are very low, as your channels
starts getting bigger, you're going to have a foundation on which you
can build a system which makes it very easy
for you to pump out high-quality content at
a very high quantity. Now before you do this, I want you to understand this is probably gonna be the
hardest thing you ever do. What your YouTube channel,
you are trying to coach other people
on how to make content for you and you have to give them everything
step-by-step. I cannot tell you exactly how to do that because it comes down
to your leadership style, your resources, and the
goals for your channel. I will just tell you what I do with my team or my channel. And hopefully you can take some things in
there that you can apply to you and your
squat content creation, because I have a significant
amount of long-form content, is very easy for us to get. Youtube shorts also have a
lot of lives where I was either solo or with someone else that we can chop up
into 30-second clips. So because of this, the first thing that we did
inside of our short form content automation process is we hire someone that
could find clips. Now that sounds like
a very weird job. Once you start getting a
big YouTube following, you're gonna see that
a lot of your fans are gonna start timestamping in the comments what
parts of the video that they really enjoy
it because of this, these are people that if
you can find a way to compensate them or put them
in your organization somehow, they will be great clip finders. And if you can train
them how to watch your YouTube longs and put
chapters in your description. That, that makes it so much
easier for anybody who comes after them to find
the closest as well. Youtube even has
an in-app feature called clips where
you can actually, while you're watching
a YouTube video, press equipped button and clip
up to 60 seconds and send that clip to anybody or even making his own YouTube video. I haven't seen us on
everybody's channel, but if that is on your
channel, once again, a very easy way for you to have your clips already
decked out and then washing, tell your editors, Hey, if you click this timestamp
and clipped Eclipse button, now they got to
click right there. If your channel has
eclipse feature, whoever is finding your Eclipse, if they have the
wherewithal to do this as well, have
them clip it up. Now. They found the clip, they clip it up and I was
tired for an entitlement clip. I've tried to educate
everybody comes into group at E2 about stop titles
and search title. You want to have some
sort of straining or some sort of education about
how to title your videos. Because you want
to make sure that those videos are properly titled once they get to the next step, which
is the editor, or editors have the same
template they're gonna use every single short form
video has the same fonts, it has the same colors. They take the clip, they
put it inside the video and makes sure all the subtitles
are aligned correctly. They made sure all those
subtitles are spelled correctly. And then once they're done, they place it into a
completed videos folder. And now this is a baseline levels
short form video that is ready to
be posted because this process is essentially
12, maybe three people. You really can push
it into two people. It doesn't take that long to
make it short form video. Once you have the process
divvied up like this, find the clip, edited,
clip, distributed clip. Because of that, our
editors are required to do three short
form videos a day. They weren't five days a week. That's 15 videos a week. If you have three editors getting you 15 short
form videos a week, that's 45 videos a week. That's 90 videos every two
weeks as a 180 videos a month. If you post once a
day from that point you have six months worth
of current short form gives you an opportunity
to get your content out to as many people as you possibly can in a very quick fashion. If you set up a team
that is optimized, that is streamlined and
speech your language. This is a great way to push
your brand in front of everybody else who's
sleeping or YouTube shorts.
6. YouTube Shorts Business Model Explained: If you told shorts monetization, how do we get paid from day one, u2 ad revenue is the
amount of money to YouTube page you when people
watch ads on your video. Remember I told you
earlier about how YouTube sources of
gray way to get views. When you start getting ease you too short his views
and you notice SPM of your channel was the amount
of money you get per 1000 views you think
you ought to be rich. I'm going to tell you right now, You ain't gonna be rich. No money. U2, don't care
about these shorts. Money right now. This is a great lesson
for anything that you're gonna do in the
world of social media. Because you have to understand that you
don't own the platform. This is YouTube platform, so you can't depend
on them to pay you to post on their platform. These platforms are for
marketing and distribution. Use them as such and you take the traffic
that you get from marketing and
attributing content on these platforms and you push it somewhere where
you can get paid. Who were our places
where you can get paid? Number one, website,
e-commerce store to make money from your YouTube
ads on your YouTube longs, you need to have 4
thousand watch hours and 1000 subscribers on
your YouTube channel. How many subscribers and watch
hours do you need to make money from your e-commerce
store, your website? 0, the moment that
decide goes live, you can start making money. The great thing
about your website, you e-commerce stores as
completely customizable, whatever products
It's your audience. What if there are digital, you can create audience
was a podcast. Give it to all, want a
course, give it to him, Coach it, memberships, merch, even also physical product wherever you went
to all for them, you can do this through your website slash
e-commerce store. Another place that
you can see in your YouTube short traffic
is to a long-form video. It seems like the most
common says Place your short gut smacked
into their face. They watched it for a long time because they're
interested in it. If you have a long-form
video does similar to that short form topic pushed
him to that long-form video? Yes, that's short form
video might not get you any ad revenue that the
long-form video will. They watched the
short form video on how to invest
and cryptocurrency, they're probably
going to watch her long-form video on
how to invest in cryptocurrency because
it adds more contexts. Short form is a direct
funnel into law form. And this is really what YouTube has short
form videos for. They're using this to tease us. They go into the
long-form content for our favorite creators. So take advantage of this. My favorite place to send people from our shores content
is to affiliate links. Every single product that you use has an affiliate program. And mostly the affiliate
programs work like this. This is an iPhone, maybe by Apple, I like it. Body are probably like it too. Because I notice if I go to Amazon.com and I sign up for
their affiliate program, and I started making
content around iPhones. And I put an affiliate link in the description box that has, if you want to buy an
iPhone click here, and it's my Amazon affiliate
link that is sitting short traffic directly
into my sales funnel. Now, I don't own Amazon. The amount of commission
on may get off iPhone. Amazon affiliate
probably isn't much, but what it really
costs you nothing. And if you can do
that at what Apple, you can do that with
practically anything, whatever products you use on the Internet or
in everyday life, they probably have an
affiliate program. And if you can send that traffic to those
affiliate links, especially if those
affiliate programs are monthly services that
are reoccurring. Any affiliate program
pays you a percentage of whatever they pay
every single month. You can make a lot of money. And this can be consist
in money that you do to work one time and it
makes you money forever.
7. How To Make Great YouTube Shorts Outro: It helps you understand you two shorts a
little bit better. Do you have a better idea of how YouTube shorts as an asset that can't be
placed in your channel, U2 shorts is a very new
concept at this point, it is going to expand
and it's going to grow and continue our class
about YouTube shorts. You two longs you to miss. How to make you to money, how to get more YouTube views, YouTube, SEO, YouTube marketing. I had to get a 100 thousand
YouTube subscribers, 200 thousand users describing
a 100 million views. If any of this stuff
interests, you, follow me here, make sure you watch all my other courses. Go. Follow me on YouTube, gum drop in gyms on
there all the time. In me up on Twitter
at Dorian group EDI to hit me up on Instagram
at, during group at e2. One thing I want you
to take away from his YouTube short
class is this is a great opportunity for
you to get in front of a lot of people that would
have not seen you before. Algorithm is going insane. They need content because the demand is
through the roof in a supply is extremely low. That's why I made
the course project. What it is, I want you to make your own YouTube short, please. Even if it's just a
clip from a long-form, go make a YouTube short so that way you can understand the power that is in your hands. Look forward to seeing
you all in next class. I'm not depart your stage rule.
