Are you excited to take on a fun watercolor challenge ? Join me for this course which includes 12 painting prompts based on beautiful winter landscapes. Whether you are just starting out or looking to refine your skills, i'll guide you through everything from simple paintings to more advanced techniques and creative compositions.

Consistent daily practice is essential for improving our artistic skills. Each project in this course is designed to introduce new techniques while helping you build confidence and see noticable progress in your work!  This course will definitely push you out of your comfort zone and to explore new styles. Hello, I am Raniya. Welcome to my Skillshare profile!
I am a watercolor artist living in UAE.
A clinical psychologist in the past, now passionate about painting landscapes. I love painting since childhood and nature has always been inspirational to me. I enjoy pleinair painting time to time and You can see my works in Instagram and painting videos on Youtube!

Each day of this 12 day challenge will prompt a new project for you. You will complete this challenge with the following topics.
Day 1 : A cozy hut in mountains under starry sky. Starting with a simple painting, you will learn to paint a cozy hut with a glowing window, blurry mountains in the background, and a beautiful starry sky.
Day 2 : A foggy landscape (Monochrome). In this project, you will learn to paint a foggy landscape with trees and a fence using multiple layers with a single color!
Day 3 : A winter twilight landscape. Here you will learn to paint a twilight sky with layers of snowy pine trees.
Day 4 : Winter mountains bathed in sunlight. In this, you will learn to paint winter mountains with strong lights and shadows.
Day 5 : A glowing lantern in snowfall.  This is one of my favorite! You will create a glowing lantern along with its reflections on snow , with background trees and a beautiful snowfall effect.
Day 6 : Sunlit pine trees. Here you will uncover techniques to capture the sunlit glow on green pine trees in a snowy landscape
Day 7 : Golden winter sunset over river. This project includes the techniques of painting a glowing sunset over the serene river, and reflections.
Day 8 : Winter forest in sunset glow. You will learn to paint glowing winter sunlight coming through frosty trees and its shadows.
Day 9 : Sunlit snow covered trees . ( Another favorite) This one includes the technique of painting sunlit frosty trees with snow covered huts.
Day 10 : Snow covered village . (Another favorite and most challenging ) You will learn to paint an aerial landscape view of a snow covered village and to create depth in a loose way.Â
Day 11 : Northern sky over a cozy hut. This one includes the technique of painting beautiful northern sky with a winter hut.
Day 12 : Winter cabin by the lake ( Most favorite ) You will learn to paint a cozy winter cabin with dark and moody pine trees in background and its reflections in lake.
Before we start each painting, you will see the colors you will need and the reference pictures i used.Â
