income just from my content. I'm here to showcase
the exact path that I followed step-by-step, but you need to watch it. I will give you the

on TikTok content strategy hints like
my viral framework for coming up with ideas, the ideal frequency of
posting and re-purposing your content efficiently to
every single other platform. Of course, we're going

and understanding your numbers and your analytics in order to make
better decisions. By the end of this class, you will be able to brainstorm 1020 different video ideas, have the potential
to perform great, write your own scripts and
start building the habit of producing short video

of your talent or your knowledge are out there
exploring the platform, creating content
daily, and grabbing the opportunity, seeing
amazing results. So if you want to

content creator, this right here is
your opportunity. This is your tends to soldiers
to the world what you got. And that's why I'm so excited about this path that
I created for you. So I hope you're ready because
I will see you in class.
2. Understanding TikTok and Why It's a Golden Opportunity: Tiktok today, if
you really can open your eyes and
understand the dynamics of internet and social media. It's like buying real estate
in Manhattan back in 1930. It's not saturated. The growth dynamics are insane. No other social media has
ever grown in that base. That's why they're more
than 1 billion users right now in the blood form. So like with everything, it's not what the platform
does is how you use it, right? So there is no other
law firm right now that somebody
can grow that fast. I raised 200 K and
a couple of months, I reached 1 million
in six months, 1.5 in eight months. And my videos get viewed more than 120 million
times this entire period. The numbers are insane. Everybody joining TikTok
today can really make themselves viral from
video number one, the way that TikTok works
gives you this opportunity. So let's see how you can do it.
3. TikTok is the Greatest Audition Ever: So TikTok is really the
greatest audition ever. And what do I mean by that? The way that we have been
trained to use those platforms, all those social
media platforms, facebook, Instagram, linkedin, YouTube, you name it, is opening the app
and start seeing, taking content from people that we have selected to follow what TikTok is doing
the moment that we open the app with
the For You page, which is the default
page of the app, is feeding us with
content that it believes that we might like. And from that moment onwards, we are the ones as
users that train the algorithm to understand what are the things
that we like. It's like a huge addition of random creators in front of our screen waiting
to be judged by us. So for us as creators, this is a huge opportunity to
be discovered from day one. From the first day
that you will open your account and you will
start creating content. And that's why we
see so many brands, so many accounts
getting viral videos, even if they have
zero followers. So treat this as
a huge addition. Your chance to stand in front of potentially everybody and be
ready to win their hearts.
4. Who are You? It's Time to Be Yourself: So this chapter is
really important, is about your identity. When you enter the platform, is really important to set
from the get-go who you are, what you're trying to
achieve with the blood from what is your style, what you are, what you are, and what is the direction
you want to follow. Business-wise, content
creation wise, and never try to be something else from what you really are. Don't start jumping around
because others do it. Don't try to copy the style
of others and make it yours. You don't have to dance. You don't really have to become a stand-up comedian
to make it on TikTok, you need to find your own
style and guess what? The style that suits you is
who you are in the reality. So when I entered the platform, I was 40 years old. I didn't fit the main
demographic of the blood form, but Steve, I didn't try
to be somebody else. I didn't try to be a teenager who teaches
about something. I was mi casa de nos with my 20 year old
experience in marketing, searing, selflessly, everything
I knew in this platform. When you enter the platform, define who you are. What is your tone,
what is your style? What kind of clothes
you will be wearing, what kind of content
you will be creating? And stick to that. Yes. Experiment. Yes. Recreate yourself. Yes, see what others are doing, but stick to your direction. So if you are a business
that is trying to educate people about
the specific topic, let's say psychology or marketing or sales or
whatever. Stick to that. Understand what you bring in the table and do it
consistently every single day. That's how you build
your identity, not by trying to be somebody
else or something else.
5. Identify Your Uniqueness & Double Down: So when you're trying
to find your identity, you need to look inside you and understand what is
unique about you. And trust me, that is
definitely something unique about you that most of the times you don't
even know it yet. So when I started
my TikTok channel, I was really concerned about
the final that will create English content without being a native speaker, being a Greek. And I knew also that the
algorithm because of my IP, I'm living in Greece, going to start
showing my content. First two Greeks, that could be awkward
because they would see a Greek guy with definitely a Greek accent
talking in English. But still, I knew that once
I get my first viral videos, the algorithm will
start showcasing my content outside
the IP of Greece. So I stick to that. And I realized that people
that were non-Greeks, so people outside
Greece loved my accent, although Greeks were
making fun of it, because it sounded
weird to them. People outside Greece
loved the accent. And this in combination
with my voice, using my microphone in
a waiter was making my tone and my voice
color even more intense. Together with my intro, the wink and my cup
created a signature. The people were seeing
and they were like, Oh, this is constant,
the nose, we know exactly what to expect. So I have hundreds
of comments of people that are telling me that there are watching
my videos just because they enjoy this kind of unique element to try to find what is unique about you. Might be your voice, might be your face, might be your
communication skills, might be a decent that you were, or a range of cups or
any other accessory, even your background
in your room. So find something
unique and stick to it. People need to register towards this kind of
unique element of yours.
6. Defining Your Niche: So defining your needs is
something super important. And that's where many people
are falling into a trap. They are defining their
needs on social media, thinking about their
potential customers, their potential clients. So if I'm a marketing
agency, e.g. and I create my page
on TikTok like I did, which is named Simply Digital. I should be if I was following
this kind of logic to create content for
people that are business owners or
starting a business, or trying to scale
their business because that's what my
audiences client wise. But guess what? I will never grow
at the level that I grew if I was focusing solely
in this specific needs. So what I say to my students and to people that I
worked together every single time when we talk about needs is defined your
potential clientele, but also follow this logic. The other thing you need to
define, especially on TikTok, that has the default setting of throwing your content
in your native IP. So if you are from
Germany or from Greece, people that live in Greece or Gemini will be the ones that
we'll see first your videos. So if you want to address the local market or the
international market, and hence speaking English
like I do in my tunnel, you need to give it time because the algorithm will start showing your content in people
outside your country once you get your
first viral videos. So as we said before, finding your ID includes also who you want
to address or you want to be an international
content creator or international brand, or you're trying to be a
local expert, a local brand. And it will stick to
that because this will define your entire
direction in the platform. From my experience, the broader
you go, the better it is. So what I did, since I wanted
to build a global brand, was saved my focus from my
Greek business last brand, entrepreneurship audience,
which is super small. Increase to the
global audience that is interested about online
tools, all things digital. Starting a business, doing baby steps in digital marketing. And that's how I got
from an audience this small to a big one. So make this distinction. Understand what do you want to go in to three years from now? And don't be afraid, even if your English is
not at a grade level, to go internationally,
the benefits in a platform like
TikTok are insane.
7. TikTok Trends: Tiktok trends is a
double edged sword. If you use them smartly, they can really
propel your growth. They can really help you grow faster than doing the typical
thing of creating content. Ignoring completely the trends, which is what I did, or it can lead you to lose
it completely your identity because all you do is focusing on cat sick
the next trend. So instead of hue, setting the tone, the platform
sets the tone for you. Funny trend comes up. You adjust your content to that, and emotional trend comes up. If you do the same, guess, what? Few translator, you
lose your identity. So what I say to people is instead of
following the trends, trying to become the trend, Don't sacrifice
your identity for the potential of becoming
viral once or twice. If you start understanding the platform and you can really use a trend in your own needs and fit
it in your own style. Do it, but don't lose
your identity ever.
8. Be The Trend: So as I said at the beginning, I really love people that
think outside the box. They don't really try to fit in, but they're trying to stand out. And what I mean by
that is instead of you trying to fit in the trends, is you becoming the trend? Is you creating the trend issue, coming up with a talents so
that people can follow you. So what can it tell me? This can be done in two ways. The first one is to really
stick to your identity, your signature videos,
your signature intro. The way that you present
something, your transitions, all those elements
can be really unique so that people can
start copying them. The thing that I'm doing with the websites or
the online tools, and the exact way that I'm presenting them with
my finger like that, then hiding the camera, or even the week that I do in my videos is something
that is a signature. It's something that
I've seen hundreds of people copying it
frame by frame. And although I was getting
angry at the beginning, because I was like
so many copycats, what you can do, it's a sign that what you do
becomes a trend. People love it. They see that it's working because it gets my videos viral. So they decide to copy it. In the same way, you can really create this kind of identity, this kind of a unique
say that people will want to copy and that's
a sign of success. The second way to
become a trend is setting Italians is creating something that calls to action other people in order
to join the talent. Let's see some examples telling me your age and
something you can't do. I'll go first. So I'm 26 and I can't
take it anymore. I can't take it anymore. What's a conspiracy
theory that you have 1,000% believe in?
I'll go first. I 100% believed that
there was a cure to every major disease, cancer,
diabetes, everything. But the more people that die, the more money that
companies can make. What's your favorite
motivational video ever? Let me go first. Thanks terrorists to rewire. It takes courage to be rich and takes courage
to emancipated. It takes tourists, are
they knowledgeable? Because the moment you
don't talk like, you know, you don't got forgot
where he came from, looking at the time. It takes. And I'm just
wondering this week, water belt, mediocre society
that we live in today, in this reality TV
world we live in today, I'm wondering if there's anybody left that's got the
courage to say, I've been through and all my ancestors have been
pulled at all my parents. I didn't prompt all of that
just to fit in with normal. To call out for my dream.
9. Who is the Brand Face? : The next thing you
need to define is who is the protagonist
of the soul. Once you start your
TikTok sandal, you have your own TV channel
into your own media. So you need to have
a protagonist, someone who is the brand phase, the account phase, whatever. In my case, this is me. Many brands like those
examples here are using a single person that is the face of the brand
every single time. So before you jump
in the platform, you need to define who
is shooting the videos. Isn't gonna be a faceless brand or a brand with a
human angle like mine. And you need to make
a commitment to that. There are many
examples of brands that built big accounts
of TikTok without having any protagonist or no leading role on
any of the videos. And by putting creativity
into the equation, they managed to create
interesting concepts, interesting videos, without necessarily being
one person oriented. So this is up to you. If I had to choose, I would always go
with the human. Humans, trust humans, and
that's what you wanna do. You need to build trust. You need to establish a close connection
with your audience.
10. Leave Your Ego at the Door: Last but not least, when you enter the
door of TikTok, I want you to do one thing. I want you to leave your ego and your selfies approach on
social media at the door. The more you understand
what I just said, the farther you will go. And what I mean by that. People who win on TikTok
are the ones that are creating content without
expecting anything in return. Not falling validation, not
an engagement validation, not a revenue validation. Yes. Those things are great. We all want them
don't get me wrong, but you need to dedicate yourself when
you enter the platform. One single thing, building a community that really
cares about who you are, what you do, and what are
you going to post next. And this thing will never be
at saved if your surface, if you are all about
me, my business, my ego, my entitlements, or anything else that leaves the audience outside of the
equation, make them fail. That are listed important
than your needs. So create content selflessly
and you're going to win.
11. Types of Accounts: When you enter the platform
for the first time and you try to create your own account, you have three options. The first one is to create
a personal account, which is definitely
not recommended. And then you have
the creator account and the business account. If you create a
business account, you will be able to
run ads as well, but you will not be able
to use copyrighted music, which means the most
popular music tracks that we use every single
day of the platform. And this is actually a big miss. Also to my experience, I've seen the creator
account choice to be the one that gives
you the most benefits. So you have playlist, you can join the Creator Fund, which is TikTok, paying you for the amount
of use that you get. You can use all the
available music on the platform copyrighted
and non copyrighted. And also you have access to the analytics that
business accounts have.
12. How Does the Algorithm Work? : Tiktok algorithm is probably the most sophisticated algorithm that we have seen in the
history of internet. So as we said at the beginning, TikTok is a huge audition. So from the first seconds
that you joined the platform, even if you don't
have any followers, you start seeing content
on the For You page, which is the default
page of the blood from the algorithm
at the beginning, starts feeling you content
that believes maths, your interests based on
the country that you are, on your aids and
starts showing you content that is popular
within this kind of niche. One, you start interacting
with this content, which means how long you watch every single video
for your legs, towards specific videos
or your comments, The follows you do
the searches you do in the Explore page
or the hashtags you're following gives
instantly the data to TikTok in order to
feed you with much, much more relevant content, Let's see more details about it. This is actually a
visual illustration of how the TikTok
algorithm works. Once you paused the video, suppose the specific bunch of
people going to see later, how many people they see in
the first batch, your video. And then the evaluation starts. There is a performance rating based on the completion
rate of the video, the series, the comments, the likes, so the
reaction of the audience. If this reaction, so this rating ratio is
above requirements, then you go to the
second batch of yours and so forth and so on. That's how you can
really go from 50 K views to 5 million
within the day. If your video doesn't
really comply to the rating ratio that is above the requirements to
go to a viral video mode. And it's below that. Pushing two more viewers stops. And that's how you see some videos that don't
perform very well. So if we want to break down the different views and the vitality of the
video in tiers. The first box is
300 to 500 views. This is where the
algorithm starts, understanding if your video has their requirements
to go to the next level. So if exactly the first performance rating
is above requirements, that's exactly when
you land to tier two. And then you're being
evaluated again at the level of
1,000, 5,000 views. Then again the same
for the next level, which is 50,000 to 1 million. And then to the level that you
start getting super viral, what is really making a video viral to be above the
requirements according to TikTok, its shares likes and the
people that follow you. But the main thing that I have seen in many
people claim the same. That makes all the difference is Waldstein show the
faster you swipe up, which means that you're not really interested
above the video. The more it signifies
to the algorithm that they need to start
throwing new content for you. So the longer the words time, the more chances for
a video to go viral.
13. Your First Video! It's Time: So it's about time for you
to suit your first video. What should you do? Let me tell you the thing that worked for me from day one, and it works also today, is to open the camera
and start shooting whatever the heck you
have in your head. So create a super row video without even caring
about the script, about the setup, about your
clothes, about your hair, about anything, you will
be surprised how often your first draft
video is the best one out of 5610 different attempts
that you're going to do. Of course, if you don't
have the experience in content creation
and video shooting, this will take some time, but never underestimate
the power of being spontaneous,
being authentic, not being prepared for that, but don't start shooting and
uploading content before you define all the different
things that we discussed in the introductory
lectures of this course. So finding your identity,
researching your needs, finding your content
ideas and your titles, coming up with a signature and a strong hook for the
beginning of your videos. And all this part is
the most important one, even versus the actual video. So the real key here is to not overthink it
and just shoot it.
14. How & When to Duet: So another great way to create videos is by reading
other people's. So let me show you a video
that I created recently. The one you see that I created a duet with an
amazing video that I found on my for you paid a kid that it's really
motivating others. And I felt that it would
be great to share it with my audience because
it's super useful. So all I did was presenting
it to my page by just sitting there and
letting the guy speak. The way to do it is click
on the arrow again. Here. Let it load. And now you see that you
appear next to the video. Hit the Record button. You just record the whole thing. You can talk, you can
add your comments, you can add some
text on top of that. When you're done, hit
the arrow like this, and you're good to go ready
to be posted on your page.
15. How & Why to Stitch: The genus an example, a great example of how states
can really become vital. So all these girls did is to find a funny intro
from another creator. Failure coaster states that and see how the wrong
response to that. This video got 3.7
million likes. This is your most worst
video ever and also be done using the contents
of another creator. So be smart about it. Keep it within your needs. Don't just randomly
States videos that are totally irrelevant to what you're doing should
be smart about it. And this can be a
great way for you to have 23 content ideas to three great videos per week by just stitching existing content. So let's say that I go to a video from a
creator that I enjoy. Gaddafi. I enjoy his content. And many times I
want to comment on one of these videos
or use a quote, a part of his videos and
add my own $0.02 on this. So the way to do it, which gives you actually
a great opportunity to use videos from mothers in order to create new content is by hitting
the cerebellum here, you're going to see
you have many options. On the bottom, I will choose the stitch one based on Shuttle. And when I go here, I will choose the part of the video by sliding this cursor here and choose exactly the
part of the theater. Then I want to stitch width. So let's say that I want this
park. Couple of seconds. I hit Next. The video starts playing. And then I can add my
own part like this. This is a great way to
understand how things are done. So when you're done,
you hit this arrow down with a stays a great favor of code or
creators and yourself. When you're done, you hit Next. You see that this
description appears, you have speed this video
with a specific creator. You hit Post or draft
and save it for later.
16. Important Options to Tick When You Post: So let's say that for me
is the time to post either by uploading a new video here, all going to my drafts, just an existing one.
I'll take this one. And now I need to enable here everything that
is available from. That's what I
explained to you in the viral ratio that I
showed you about my profile, that this is something that I believe helped me tremendously for people to save our two
favorite allowed to add, allow states, allow comments,
everything enabled. You can also choose who is
going to see the video. I always choose everyone
because if I choose friends, I'm going to have much
less rate for the video. And if I want to add this
specific video in the playlist, I use a playlist that I
have already created.
17. Celebrate Milestones But Not Alone: One of the great ways, unnecessary ways to become
more inclusive with your audience is celebrating
with them your own success, your own progress, and
your own milestones. So what I did e.g. is to serve some kind of knowledge or value or
experience that I got from the platform or even a
beautiful methods and encouraging message to others whenever I was hitting
important milestones. So one of my most successful
videos was this one, the video that I used my 1
million followers milestone, which was really important,
really impressive. Not to celebrate for myself, but I use it as an opportunity
to spread a message, a message to people. Stop hating, to stop judging. And allow for creators
like you and me to create without caring about
what people going to say or if people are
going to hit them. This might be my most
important video ever. And it's not because
this happened. Although I'm grateful
for the support. This video is not a
milestone celebration, is an opportunity to ask you, help me spread a very,
very important message. Stop hating, judging,
criticizing, bullying, and minimizing others. Through this journey, I've
experienced so much hearing from people that all
they do is exactly that. Not having a life and trying to do that for others in
order to feel important. Although I don't give
a **** about that. There are so many people
out there that do. So many people out there have beautiful things inside them. Contains the world can make people's life better,
easier, more knowledgeable, and they don't do it because
they're afraid of judgment, criticism, bullying,
minimizing from people. That's all they do is nothing. But if you are one of those people that
are afraid to start creating and get out of those beautiful things
you have in your head. Please. Do you have my support? You have many people support. This world needs you. Because creation
is the essence of chains is what really
brings things to people. And if we had great people, great content graders jumping
in platforms like that, that would be something that
would benefit everybody. So use those kinds of milestones as opportunities to serve something important to come even closer to your
existing audience. The other example is
this one that I started. I created a video
talking zero to $400,000 to 400 k from
zero in three months. And I'm sharing with them some tips that I really
find useful for them. And that's how I decided to celebrate the
specific milestone. So be creative. Find ways to celebrate
those small wins. And believe me, people
are going to feel happy for you more than
you really believe. So find those opportunities to celebrate with your audience. Those small wins
because we live in, is sometimes those people going to feel even
happier than you? They will feel that they're
part of this journey. They have contributed in their own way for
you to be there.
18. How to Schedule Posts: You'll want to
schedule on TikTok, which is super important
if you want to stay consistent and keep
your daily posting on. The way to do it is
go to tiktok.com. So you need to visit TikTok
from your web browser. Go here that it says Upload, select your video,
so you need to have it ready in your drive. Click on it. It has
to be up to 1 min. Then you select
the cover that you want to appear in your preview. You post, write your
caption like this. You select the
viewers of the video, like it's gonna be public, your friends only are private. And then you can either
post it on the spot or schedule it for a future
date and time like this. When you're ready, just select the date and time and
you're good to go.
19. Research Your Niche: So let's make a basic
research for our competition. I will put my main keyword, which is marketing. I'll hit search. And here I'm going to
see the top videos created around this
needs the top accounts. You see that every rank first. The top videos that have been created by different
creators like this guy here who is nailing it. How would he make a
short research for him? Understand what kind
of leader she does? What is this format? Check the hashtags he's
using his videos like here, you're going to see
that he is Spanish, so he's obviously using
Spanish hashtags. So this is not really my needs. I'm going to find another
creator like him. When I have playlists. This makes it so easy for me to take it out so I can
click on his playlist. On the bottom as see
everything that has created around this thing that looks like this is
working for him. You can do the same for any
category and it needs by using the hashtag or a
keyword like fitness tapes. And here I just want to see what ranks first in terms
of video content. What kind of other hashtags
I can see from the creators? What are the most viral
videos like this? If there are recent
or they're old. And when I find something that is interesting for
me because many times you're going to
see videos within hashtags that are not
relevant with a hashtag, they're just being used. So when I see something
that is relevant for me, like this guy offering basic tips for
natural bodybuilders. I'll definitely take him
out, see his profile, what he's doing, how
long he's doing it for. I see that he has half
1 million followers. I will seek his
profile, his style, his playlist, and save
human my bookmarks. Now, you can do the same by searching sounds with your
main keyword like this. If I put marketing, I'm going to see that
the most popular track and on marketing related
videos is this one. So we're going to
see that 600,000 videos have been
created with the sound. I have many of the top
ranked videos within this one because I have
some viral videos in my series that I use the
same truck all the time. So this helps you being found.
20. What You Need to Know About Music: Music on TikTok is
a huge chapter. The nature of the
platform by itself is coming out of
the music industry. So TikTok used to be musically, that was the original lab. And TikTok is actually
musically 2.0, but much more
successful, of course, some music is in the core
DNA of the blood from it. And that's why for the
first time we see a blood from using real songs, songs that have been licensed to be used from creators like you and me at the same time is an amazing opportunity
for many songwriters, artists, music productions to get their songs,
their music viral. And we have thousands of examples of songs
becoming well-known, becoming viral out of TikTok, not out of YouTube or Spotify. So how can you really use
music for your own benefit? First of all, I have
to tell you that I've seen many
creators never using any music track and
still been great being successful because
they're great content creators. They're putting great stuff every single day out and
the audience loves it. Music is not something that
we make you successful. Huston's have not something that we made you successful, know, hog will make you successful, but your own content and your
unique values or creator. Still, however, there are
small things that can really make our birthday
cake more attractive. So what I mean by this is that our content and
our consistency or engagement with the platform is a well-cooked cake with
super ingredients. And then music, hashtags, little hints at just
the declaration to make the cake even sexier. So the way that I
approach the usage, music in the blood
form has three angles. The first one is using music in any other occasion that we're dressing our video
with a soundtrack. So really solid track, a tribe that really
fits to the occasion, fits to our content
can really elevate the entire video by saying
that sometimes adjusts, go with a truck that I
really love and I believe it fits my video
terms of the base, in terms of the duration or even the emotion
that I want to evoke. So if I want to inspire people, I will use an
inspirational song. And many times I want something
that starts with a hook. And because as we said before, our interests on TikTok
or supercritical, I want the same feeling, the same bid, the same
kickoff in my truck as well. So most of the times
I would probably ignore a song that
has a slow start, something that doesn't gain your attention from the get-go. The second way to use music
is by understanding what are the popular drugs
at this right moment. And the way to do that is
this side to see how to post something and use an existing sound
or create your own, open a video or
create one I will use for the reference of this
video and existing one. So go back in my drafts. This is the video that
exists in my drafts. And if I hit sounds here
on the bottom left, you're going to see that
I have several options. The first one, the default one, is to use a recommended one, which is actually the sounds I use the most are the ones
that are trending right now. So if I click in the
More button here on the left with a search icon, you can see that I
have several options. Some playlists like UK hot
50, TikTok, viral, whatever. And then on the top
you have discovered. And four, you see all, you see all the
songs here that are being popular by other creators. You can choose any that
you want like this, e.g. squeak games popular
now, the icon. And then you can also trim the song in order to start
from the point that you want. If not, you just leave it
on the default setting. Click here, and then move on next in order to
publish your video. If you want to use
a favorite sounds. So the ones that you have
bookmarked and other ones that you prefer to use are the ones that you love or you
just love the sound. You pick one from this tab here. Favorites, you upload it, and then you're good to go. Also, it's important to
play with the volume. This is the original sound of the video that you uploaded, the one that I have
in my drafts already. And this is the added sound. So the one, the music that
I just posted, normally, if I speak in the video, I don't want it I don't
want the sound to be the main one of the video. So I normally put it
around five to seven per cent so that it's like a background noise and not
the main focus of that. If I have something that
is only visual like this funny video that
I have created, e.g. I. Can put it in 100 and have it play in food
volume in the video. The third option
that I have is go to the voice-over function, which is something
actually that if you see my TikTok page is something
that I use all the time. And it's something
that really made me popular about because I play
with the colors of my voice, so it makes it
even more intense. Try grab my mic. When I have a finished video, I click Record here and I
start talking over the video. I pose on every
single frame that I want to focus what exactly
I'm going to say next. Hit Record again to continue, still talk over the video. And if I make a mistake, I go back here on the
top or the bottom right, and I go back to voice-over
again, the same frame. When I'm done, I hit Save. The top right, click
on the sounds. I unmute the original
video so that I have the voice-over to be the
dominant or sound hit Next. And then I can either
post or save the draft.
21. Using Music as the Main Theme: The third way to use music or any sound truck is by
making this sound drunk, your main theme for your video. And what I mean by that, this includes either
a lip sinking, try follow the words from the soundtrack by pretending that it's made and I'm talking. So I'm trying to be
funny or to get out a message or do I adjust
it in my own reality? Or I'm trying to adjust a
specific trend that follows a specific drug and
adjust it to my own meat. As we said at the
very beginning, it's very important
when you jump into trends to own them, to adjust them if your needs and not adjusting to the trends. If there is a trend
that is very big, everybody's doing something
to jump into trend. And I believe that
have a great idea to adjust the trend
in my own needs, in my marketing content. It's absolutely fine
to go after it. So let me show you an
example of what I mean. Hey, let me tell you how
to make more money on line, get new skills. You didn't like it there. Sorry. It's the only way to see how much. They told you. 70,000. Technically 72,000. I think that makes him
a two granted. Yeah. I tell you what.
22. Saving Sounds & Creating Original Ones: So just below my profile picture you're going to
see Eddie profile. This pattern here that enables people to go to
my Instagram or YouTube. And this little bookmark, which has saved videos that
I have from other creators, but also saved sounds, saved effects, saved questions
that I wanted to answer. Even saved hashtags or products. So whenever you save
something that you like, like those are the songs that
I like most listening to. Or I have seen interesting
challenges around them. Or I believe that they fit to the overall theme of my channel and the
videos that I create. Whenever I see something you
are whenever I see a female. But I like their
sound like this one, you should know that I
open the sound page, I can see who has created
any videos before. And I can choose to add to
favorites by doing this. Now if I wanted to
save the video, just need to tap on it. Hold my finger and
you're going to see the Add to favorites option. This is the video has
been bought wired. I can see it here. Now apart from the sounds that you can find the
discovery and explore, like the way that we
explained before. You can create your
own original sounds, which is, which has
several benefits. So if I create a
specific talents, tell you why people like e.g. this one, you created a motivational video and
I have an original sound. This means that I didn't
use when I post it, it any sound easy or not
to recover my recording. And that's how you
create this one that people can use in
their own videos. Tell you why people hate
on, check this out. This video is using sound. Let me tell you
this one the same. Let me tell you why,
but this one the same, it tells you why people,
this guy are the same. So by creating your
own UI sounds, you can really
become even viral. So you see that this video
is an original sound. You're going to sit on the
top left that says Original. And people used the sound
vetoes to either lip-sync. How much does, or how
much does it cost for creating their own
business related videos, or funny or videos
or whatever is. The way to record your own
sound is either upload the video from your phone towards TikTok or
something like that. Whatever you want to say. And when you click okay. Then instead of uploading a
sound from TikTok, hit next. And when you post, you
have an original audio.
23. Make it Intentional and Unintentional: So moving on to your favorite
section, monetizing TikTok, as you're going to read in
my bio and this Course Info, TikTok for me is now a
standalone business, a six-figure
standalone business, and this happened
within 78 months. I wasn't planning for that. I wasn't expecting app. And that's why I
told you you need to leave your ego at the door. And that's why the name of the
first lecture is all about being intentional regarding what you're
trying to achieve. What is the end goal. But also unintentional
when it comes to money. Don't come into the
blood from by trying to make money, by being salesy, by trying to get your
first brand partnerships fast and start screwing your brand without
even knowing it. So being intentional
means planted earlier when I said earlier about
defining your identity, I want you to realize and think, what is the theme that can be interesting for potential
brand partnerships. So e.g. I'm in an industry
that are so many tools, so many websites,
so many platforms, so many SaaS products, so many mobile apps, so many startups,
new products coming in every single day,
every single week. And I knew that this is
an industry that has launched my name's to
invest in marketing, content creation, and new promotional activities
like influencer marketing. So you need to
realize how you can really get a good
piece of this pie called influencer marketing when you start reducing
the levels of 100 k, 150, 200 K on TikTok. Because believe
me, it will happen if you follow the steps
that I will give you and brands will
start looking for you only if you have
a specific theme. So let's say that you
start jumping on trends, getting followers
because you're funny, or you're good,
denser or whatever. If at some point of
time you reach 100, 150 K, but still, you don't have a clear identity when I see your account
and don't realize that this guy means this when
they see me in my account, the sake of sturdiness, the guy who showcases
tools, ways, hacks to make money, to be smart online, to do it simply online, to scale my business, to start my business. They know that, and the
brands know that also. And that's why I defined my
identity from the get-go. And I said, if I
manage to create this account and I
grow to 200, 300, I might be able to
get those platforms, those companies
getting interested in being featured
on my tunneling. So central theme, make a map of the potential
brands that you could work because of the thing you
have chosen and start creating content like
your life depends on it.
24. How to Get Brand Partnerships: How to get those branded
partnerships when you start reducing the levels that
people started looking at you. So in my case, I got my first branded
partnership from Taylor brands when our rates 60, 70 k followers, which is
not that big for TikTok. But still it was a good size for them
in order to experiment because most of the
brands right now on TikTok, they're
still experimenting. So they're delegating budget. They're taking barges
from Facebook ads, from other influencer
marketing activities, from Instagram. And they're moving it on TikTok. They're looking for creators
like you and me that have managed to build
a specific theme, a clear identity to invest in them in order to become
the face of their brand. So the way that you will get your first branded
partnerships if you have followed the steps
that I told you closely, is them knocking on your door? And that's why you need
to have a clear bio, a multi-legged like mine. You're going to see the
example that I showed you here that I have my
contact details, my Instagram page, and mini bio. Understand who you
are, what you do. Because it's really important
for brands to work with people that fit their values. It's not just about how many followers you have or how big your engagement is. You need to be a person that they can feel they
can work with. The most important thing for branded partnerships
is you being able to establish long-term
ones, not firework. Once for a video
of a single thing, you need to make this
a recurring income. So when I got my first
request from brands, what I did is to create
a deck like this. What I was able to showcase, what I'm offering to them. What are my demographics, other success stories, what
their video could look like. So you need to help
them understand what success looks like
in your tunnel. And that's how you showcase professionalism and you become a content creator who they want to work with
for the long term. We're going to see in the next
lecture how you can really define your rates and be fair for you and
for them as well. Once you get your first
interests from brands, you can really make an
outreach campaigns. So map the brands that
we said before that are your potential brand
partnerships and start reaching out to them once you get your
first collaborations, saw the example and tell them this is what we
did with this brown. Those are the results. And we believe that
what do you do can be really interesting
for our audience when I worked with us, this is our partnership details. Let somebody, Nicole.
25. Affiliate Marketing: The second way to monetize your TikTok account is
affiliate marketing. Marketing is something
really underrated, misunderstood many
times from people. But the basic component of affiliate marketing
is the community. Once you have built a
community that trusts, you, listens to your suggestions,
class, your content. It's much, much
easier to recommend something and get
an affiliate fee. If you don't know what affiliate
marketing is all about, suggesting things and getting a commission for
selling something, but I don't own to others. So e.g. have multiple
affiliate partnerships with most of the
platforms that I'm showcasing on my tunnel, on my TikTok or Instagram, almost all of those
platforms have an affiliate program at
the bottom of the page, which sometimes is
super generous. Sometimes they're
giving back 30, 40, 50% of the subscription or a
potential customer for them. And they're setting
that with you. So if I create a video about recommending a
specific platform, people love it and they
decide to register, subscribe, and pay a
monthly subscription. And out of 50,000 people that
are going to watch a video, 100s of them thrive. I might end up getting 23
$4,000 out of a single video. So what you need
to do is identify those potential
affiliate partnerships. Create a multi link on your profile that
will be customized every single week depending on your content calendar and
your posting scheduling. And you need to make
it intentional. So try to post at least a couple of times or three times for
the same platform, for the same affiliate
partnership within the month, you can really find affiliate
partnerships for anything, Amazon hazard, eBay hazard, almost all the platforms
that we use daily habit. It's all about mapping
this industry of affiliate partnerships
and seeing how you can really adjust
them in your content. So let's say that I have this terminal here
and I'm teaching every single day TikTok secrets. After a while, I can create
a video and showcase to you how I created this video
using a light ring, a light box, a green screen, and Mike my laptop. And use affiliate links
for the entire equipment. Or even if you are a
fitness instructor, you can have affiliate
partnerships with nutrition supplements, exercise equipment, you name it. All you need to do is
identify that and make it intentional with clear call
to actions for your audience.
26. Upgrade Your Content into Something Premium: So as we said before, start being unintentional
when it comes to monetization and then sifting towards
being intentional. It's the famous tactic
of dub, dub, dub, cross, that Gary V is
teaching us so many years. Which means create
value for them. Give value selflessly
without caring about anything else except
for keeping them happy, impressed, and getting in love
with you every single day. Then all you gotta do is upgrade the level of virus you
offer in a premium way. So I spent eight months
on this platform trying to create value
for my audience. Keep them happy,
keep them excited, teach them every single
day something new. I've never asked about
anything in return. I didn't try to sell anything, not even my services. And now I'm upgrading
my entire knowledge, everything I learned from
TikTok all those months. And I'm offering that in a
paid course through TikTok, but also through Instagram, shrunk capitalizing
my free value with an upgraded version of
this value in a bad way. So what can be an upgraded
version of your value? Can be a paid course like me, can be a group coaching service where you create
a limited offer, a limited number of seats
for specific people that will be codes personally
from you every single month. It's your services. If you're a service oriented
business or your products, if you're an e-commerce
store or any other brand, in order to lead
them buy from you, you need to be intentional
with a clear call-to-action. So if e.g. I. Create a video about explaining how SEO techniques can
really elevate your traffic, which can lead to more leads, and this can mean more revenues for you every single month. If I close the video with a
call to action that says, Let's talk today
to see what you're missing in order to
get those extra leads. This is a clear call to
action that leads people from the initial interests in my
video to my paid services. The same goes with
your products. If you create a video, you create constantly content around the specific category. So e.g. life hacks products and you give value every
single day to people telling them how to do simple things in their lives that most of the times people find
it difficult to do. So don't sell them the product, send them the solution, sell them, the outcome. Sell them the benefit they
get by using the product and showcase the entire process
like they're five years old. Don't ever assume that people understand everything that
you understand as well. They don't have the time,
they don't have the appetite. They don't have your experience. So keep it simple. Explained to everybody,
like he's five years old.
27. How Much to Charge Calculator: So once you get into this influencer level
of content creator, you need to understand
your rates, which can really change rapidly. So e.g. when I started my
journey as an influencer, I began at 70,000
followers on TikTok. I didn't know what to ask from my first partnership request. So I made the research, I found this tool, which is a TikTok
money calculator. It's not 100% accurate because it depends
on your audience, your demographics,
your industry. And that's why I
adjusted that to my own feeling of what
is right for both sides. When I said that this
can say it fast. I mean, TikTok is growing
in insane pace right now. You can read some helium three months or six
months or a year. So as you can understand, the bigger you become, the more you can start. And that's why you need to keep an eye on your demographics. Make your research to
other influencers, use tools like this
which show e.g. that an account of
my size can ask 2.5 to 3.5 K per video. Those agreements can be
changed if you build e.g. a long-term partnership with a brand and you can offer them the opportunity of getting more videos for a better price. My deck that I served with
the brands that I work with. I have a slide with pricing
options and I always give a long-term partnership
option that has a great benefit for them in
terms of value per video. I said before, at
some point of time, you're gonna be able to charge for Brandon Butler says, right? At somewhat of time
when you read 2030, 40, 50 k, 100 k. This depends on your needs. In some cases, many
people started searching for nano or micro influencers much earlier than in
other industries. So the first thing is
to understand what is your title as an influencer? Because whether you like
it or not, personally, I hate that they're
influential goes, it's misused by people, but still you're
influencing people. You have an authority, you have a bait on a specific needs. If you have followed the
steps that we discussed, if you did everything
right and you are in a position that you have
an audience of brands, believe that it's important. You are now at a place that
you need to set your rates. And the funny thing
on TikTok is that those rates contains
week by week. So I remember when I got into a viral mode and I was
growing like crazy, going 200-300400 K
in three-four days. I was constantly tensing
the partnership deals with my rates because now I
could charge more, right? So this is the first
classification. This is from influencer
marketing hub, creates different
tiers for creators based on the number of
followers that they have. Of course, another
huge factor regarding your influence of a rolling
is your level of engagement. So many people brands
are preferring smaller accounts
like 50 K and 40 K, have a solid engagement
like 2025 per cent versus very big accounts
that don't have anymore this solid engagement. So don't underestimate
your level of influence, especially if you are in
the nano or micro level. So you see that the
nano influencers are 1,000 to 10,000 followers, micro, ten to 50 K meteor, 50 to 500 followers, etc. So my account, e.g. that is 1.6 right now is at omega influencer
kind of theory. So based on that,
you can see here, what are the rates
that creators all over the world in all social media
platforms are chanting, this is an average, right? This depends on your audience, this depends on your needs, e.g. in my own case, I'm
addressing and needs. When it needs, I'm addressing and the
printer's business owners, world-class platforms
those people have managed spent is
not the same if you are addressing
smaller countries or nieces that don't
have enough money. So you see that the level
of rates for Instagram, YouTube, TikTok or
different, believe me, TikTok is really
cutting up because the attention is really here and the saturation
level on TikTok, it's much lower vs.
Instagram or YouTube, especially in second and
when we say inferences, being so saturated,
posting daily, hundreds of stories with
different brands and guess what? That's how your influence gets screwed. So
for TikTok, e.g. if you are an account 50 K, Let's say, which is the upper end of the
micro influencer. Here, you can charge 100, $150 proposed, those
are negotiable. So e.g. right now, for my level of account, I can charge to K per video. But many times I do
a different kind of partnership if I offer a long-term partnership
with the brand. So I tell them, you know, guys, I know for sure because
I'm a market here that once of activities
are not effective. So why do we both want to do is create awareness
again and again, create different videos
because people tend to forget to register in the
memory audience. That's fine. It's mutually beneficial for us to
create more videos. So let's come up with a policy that says for
the next six months, we're going to
create 1015 videos for your brand from
different angles, showcasing different usages
with different concepts. We can come up with a deal
that both ends are habitual. Keep this as a base, but always make your
own due diligence. Understand who is the other
end of the partnership. Sometimes it's not
even bad to reach out to other creators and ask
them what they tell us.
28. Running a TikTok Agency or Becoming an Agent: Another untapped
opportunity about monetizing TikTok and your
experience as a creator, as a brand within TikTok is
to create a TikTok agents. Now, this can have two angles. The first one is Hugh. After understanding
the platform, after building an identity, the platform after building a following in the blood
from an understanding, how you can help
other brands as well. To do the same, you can really overnight create a TikTok agency that will do
exactly the same for others. Trust me, right now, brands have no idea how
to leverage TikTok, how to stay consistent, how to approach their content
in order to have impact. And that's where you really
can make a difference. If you start an agency, you can use the things
that we learned in this course and approach their content
creation in two ways. The first one is either you
becoming the brand phase for them and creating content for them daily or several
times per week. Always having the angle of selfless value of education,
inspiration, fun, or recruit others to
become the brand phase for each month that you
recruit and becomes a client. If they're brand doesn't want
to associate themselves, their brand image with
a specific person, which sometimes is the case. You can find several other
examples of brands that are faceless using
user-generated content. Or maybe they're creating
animated videos, explainer videos,
animated figures. If it is digital
platform shooting on a mobile environment or
by screen recording. So you need to create to three different packages
for those brands. Of course, the one that
involves characters, animations, explainers. It's much more intensive
in terms of editing. And hence, you need to ask more, especially if you build
yourself an audience and brands start contacting with you in order to get promoted
through your tunnel. You can leverage
that in two ways by getting that brand
partnership as an influencer, but also telling
them that you can handle their own content
on their own channel. You don't need any equipment, you don't need people. You can hire some
freelancers or higher in 18 year old that is
out of high school, knows TikTok and would
love to be the face of a brand or a local soap or a
small business or whatever. And he can really showcase
actual results week-by-week. Because guess what? Tiktok vs. Instagram, it's much easier to showcase
better performance, increased number of
followers every single week, increased engagement, and your
client's going to love it. The second approach of creating a TikTok oriented agency is
you becoming their agent. So right now, people
on TikTok are becoming overnight
famous celebrities, influencers with
millions of followers. And most of them have zero business education
and experience. So they don't really know
how to monetize this fame, this following, and build on
that for the years ahead. That's where you come
in the equation. And exactly like
actors, singers, or athletes do,
become their agent. You have the business
acumen and you can really contact them
and tell them, you know what, this is
me, this is what I do. I have some ideas. Let's talk. Just worth few months later if you recruit a specific
number of people, sign a contract with them
and also build a pool of brands that are starving to find people and
persona's like that. You can become the middleman in a party that has tons of money, brand partnerships,
finding new faces for small movies or for
video clips or whatever. The opportunities are, endless.
29. Outreach Engagement: Engagement, like with
every other social media, is super crucial, is the solving is the heart of everything that wants
to be called social. It's like a big party. You cannot expect to have
a great party if people are standing alone without interacting with
anybody else, right? The same goes with TikTok or Instagram or
any other buffer. And when we talk about
engagement on social media, it's a two way street, meaning we have the
outreach engagement, which is us trying
to be social and start interacting
with other pages, people that we either
follow or we don't follow and we find them
in the For You page. This is super important
for two reasons. The first one is
that we can really start becoming part
of the community, and especially the community
that we care about, our industry, our needs. So people started looking
at us, taking our profiles, if we make a smart comment
or a final comment, or we add value in a
video that we see. That's how you become visible, especially at the beginning when still your rate
is at a low level. So you want to do more manual work by engaging with your
benchmark accounts. So the big pages of your
industry or your needs, because as you're going to see, the comments section is so many times much more fun
than the post itself. Sometimes there's
so much heading. There's so many trolls, but many times people
establish authority in the comments section by being the ones that make the
more thoughtful one. The second reason why outreach engagement
is super important is because you're signifying to TikTok algorithm which
your communities. So it's like connecting
the dots with the accounts that you
want to be related with. The find the accounts that are important for your industry. The accounts that you are the
buyer or benchmark for you, start interacting daily
with them and start doing also the same with the people that interact with those pages. Also respecting the limits of the platform without
being spammy or using the same ********
comments every single time like emojis or
copying pasting, the same thing, be a human, interact as a human
and not a robot.
30. Interacting with your Audience: Don't be a Diva: So the other form of engagement is the
inbound engagement. So you interacting with people that command
on your posts, don't be a diva, don't be one of those accounts are never
interact with their audience, never reply to the comments. They don't even
like the comments that people are making
because guess what? They're honoring view. They're giving you their time. They are saying something nice. And that's how you build
your internal engagement, your engagement with your
audience in your page, every single common is a gift. Even some Heading
1's or negative ones are still engagement is a good sign for
the algorithm that people care about
what you just post. It should be interactive. Reply to every single
comment that you see and make it part of your
schedule every single day.
31. Q&A Function: Another great way to engage on the platform is the Q&A option. Once you enable it, people are going to see it
on your profile and it will be able to shoot direct
questions to you. And you are able to respond
to those questions by creating videos shopper from a great way to engage with them, showcasing to them that
you care and you respect. And you dedicate time to
answer their questions. You're honoring them that way. It's a great way for you
also to create new content, to understand what are the types of questions
that people have. So as a creator, you need to answer them. That's what the essence
of content creation is. Understanding what are the most frequently
asked questions of my audience and creating
content that answers that. Now in order to set this up, go to your settings, manage account suites
to a creator account, not personal or business one. Once you do, click
on the Create tab, Q&A, enable it, and here you go. So if I go to my profile here you're going to
see my Q&A button. If I click it, I can see
all the questions that people have done
all those months. So I can really choose
one like this one. And start answering
this question by shooting a video like this. Hey man. Thank you for the question. This is what you can do. When you create the video. You can imagine
added the sticker. You can set the duration that you want the
sticker to appear. Normally, I use the
first couple of 3 s so that people can see
what I'm talking about. And I move on to the next one. You won't believe I can
also use the same function. I want to specifically deal
if I see a comment, fine. I'll present you with a
video. And here you are. You can start answering
the question like this.
32. TikTok Lives: Another great way to engage with your audience on
TikTok is going live. In order to get this feature, you need to read at
least 1,000 followers. This is when the feature
is being unlocked. And it's a great way to
face your audience for the first time in real time and get them included
in the process. It's a great opportunity
to stand in front of your audience and start
measuring the connection, the relationship you have
started creating with them. In order to do that
in a successful way, you need to make
them feel inclusive. They need to be
part of this life. They need to be aware
that these live. Is there time, is there time to get extreme value out of you, to have you answering
their questions, to come up with a
challenge that they need to participate in. The great thing
about lives is that your followers has
been notified. Every single one of
them are being notified when they go to their
notification stub, you big life is being paints as a notification
in their feet. And guess what? Many of them, especially if they see you for
the first time, going to click on that and
see what you have to say. Also, TikTok lives bearing
on the For You page. So many times I have discovered new creators that I see for the first time
because I find them, I discover them randomly when I swipe up in my for your pains. So the benefit out of
a TikTok live is dual, is being discovered
by new people, but also nurturing
your current audience, especially at the beginning
for new creators, I think that the bluff
form in order to help them do this step and
get out of this sphere, distributes their content,
they are live content in a much more aggressive way
versus being a big crater. So you really need
to capitalize on this opportunity and
start experimenting, going live from the get-go. I know that this might be
scary for many of you. Sound terrifying, but a great way to
overcome the sphere is by inviting another creator and
going on a live together. By doing that, you
joined forces. You are being introduced in their audience and
then in your audience. And it's much easier to have
a discussion rather than you being in front
of the camera and speaking to your audience, you need to remember
that TikTok is a platform with very
short attention span. So people, we live instantly if they don't feel that this
life gives them value. So make it fast. Don't speak alone
for many minutes. Answer as many
questions as you can, and constantly make
questions to your audience.
33. How to Calculate Your Engagement Rate: In order to understand
your engagement rate, I have prepared the calculator
for you in order to understand how engaged
your audience is. But post or in general as a total
number for your account. This is a metric you need
to track on a monthly or a weekly basis in order to
understand how you evolve. But also is very important for your potential
branded partnerships. Brands appreciate
and value so much a very good engagement rate even versus a very
big following. The greatest currency on a social media platform for
any social media account is the engagement rate is how well you keep your audience
engaged with your content. So if I want to calculate
TikTok engagement rate, I need to follow this formula. Likes shares, last
comments divided by views times 100 in order
to get the percentage. So this applies both
on your profile views, but also can be applied as a video
specific metric, right? Let me show you what
I mean. So if I go to one of my
most viral videos, which got 5.5 million views. I put it here. I put likes, comments, shares. This is the sum divided
by the number of use, and this is the engagement
rate of the video. This applies also to my
most viral video ever, which got 11.2 million views. And you see that the
viral engagement rate is nine per cent. So this is the percentage
you should be looking for. If I want to check my
engagement rate for my profile and not
for a specific video. I go to my analytics. I want to see the last 60 days, so I have a bigger range of time in order to understand
better what's happening. You see that I have more
than 30 million views the last 60 days. This is the number of
likes, comments and says. So if I add them and divide
them with a number of years, this is the total engagement
rate of my profile as well. So this is the average
engagement rate after analyzing thousands of profiles from influencer marketing hub. And you see that
this is the average of the engagement
rate goes bigger. Of course it's higher for smaller accounts, zero to ten K. And the bigger you grow, the less the
engagement rate goes. So for my size of a cow, which is 1 million to 5 million, I am at 1.6 million right now, the average engagement
rate is 5% are met eight, as you saw the last 60 days, Shyam above market, which is a good case for my
branded partnerships. This is what you can
use as an average to understand where you are
at every single point. So you can really understand
if you need to focus on further growing your
engagement rate of or if you are
in a good point.
34. Create Your Series: You Are a TV Station: Now it's time to strategize our content to make
clear for you, what are the topics
that you will need to create content around? One of the most
critical things for every creator is consistency. And in order to
build consistency, especially as a new creator when you still don't have
this kind of habit, it's very important to systemized
your content strategy. So like I do always, I will reserve my own
experience in the bloodstream. I will not sell any
other example or any other theory that might
be circulated around the web. I will say exactly
what worked for me. And I believe that if you
adjust it to your own needs, it can perfectly work
for any other category. So the first thing that really, really works on
TikTok is creating your own series exactly like devastations do,
like Netflix does. And all of us are
getting hooked to specific series because
we love the concept, we love the protagonists, we resonate with them. We know what to expect
in every single episode. It makes it so much easier for you to create a theme
that of course, is relevant to your
overall identity and your channel approach. A Build Your Own series
or multiple series. So e.g. my own sandal
has several series lag websites you won't believe that exist or websites I
wish I knew earlier. Or mobile labs. I wish I knew earlier, or hacks for e-commerce stores. And the way to understand what kind of series
you need to create is breaking down your
content in specific sectors. So e.g. you are a fitness coach, you can break it down. Weight loss in muscle gain,
in nutritional hacks, in nutritional tips or
busting fitness myths, become creative around it. Find killer diagonals,
which is super important. Titles might be 50 per cent of 60% of the total
success of a series. Specific post. Make
it intriguing, trigger their curiosity
and make them understand that they
will miss out if they don't watch this episode. So experiment, try ideas. And when you see that something gets this kind of
viral momentum, keep building on that. Create a part two, part three, and so
on and so forth. So if you can really
create a bunch of series around your main
themes as a creator. And you mix this up with replying to the questions
of your audience, setting your own experiences, creating guides,
tutorials, save a ball, and cerebral content is a very good base in order to build your initial
content strategy.
35. Recruiting Content: Another type of content that you need to be able to
create and you need to strategize is the content that I call recruiting content. So recruiting is the type of content that triggers follows, that makes people follow you because they don't
want to miss out. So when you want to share intriguing content,
strange ideas, the things that you believe
that your real gems of knowledge or your own twist on ideas that you
saw that went viral. You need to use themselves digitally in order
to bring people in those types of videos
might get a ton of followers, but most of the times
don't build engagement. The reason why this happens
on TikTok is quite strange, but it's true and you
need to be aware. So content that has
this kind of Vi, reality element goes first
in the For You page. So if I show you my analytics
in my most viral videos, you're going to see that 99
per cent of the people that saw it where people that
were not following me. And that's why when something
is super interesting, super intriguing makes
people said it with others, said it with their friends, said within Viber, WhatsApp
groups, messenger groups. And that's how the algorithm
understands that it needs to start showcasing your content in more new people. And that's how something
becomes viral. So although this kind of content is great for
bringing new people, then it doesn't really engage and nurture
your current audience.
36. Create Nurturing Content That Builds Trust & Authority: So apart from your
recruiting content, the one that we all love because it makes your falling get crazy. You really need to focus on your net sharing content that you're nurturing
content is the one that it doesn't
really make people get crazy regarding sharing
it with others. They might do it. But this
is not the first case, is the content that
triggers comments, discussions, it's
more emotional. Most of the times is
longer and establishes your authority as
a content creator around your theme,
around your expertise. So in order to give
you an example to understand what
I'm talking about. If I create a video and a showcase secret law firm
about watching movies online or making you write automatically with
artificial intelligence, this is something that on my platform right
now might get viral, might get 567, 10 million views, which will live in
thousands of new followers. But if I create a piece
of content when I'm talking about digital
marketing trends right now, and it's me speaking
to the camera. No platforms or websites, no hugs, nothing too crazy that it's trying to grab
the attention of people. It's something that we'll
get much less views, but it's something
that will really get this group of people that
are super engaged with me are super interested to
learn more from me and it will help you build an even
stronger bond with them. So don't be afraid
to sell content that it's not the
content that gets viral. Don't be afraid to
share your knowledge. Don't be afraid
to get the camera and start talking to it. Exactly like you would do
with a client or a customer, or your friends, or
wherever. You need. Both types of content nurturing and the recruiting
type of content.
37. Answer Questions From Your Audience: Be Inclusive: So as I said before, answering their questions
has multiple benefits. It's a great way for you
to create new content. You have new ideas and really
makes them feel inclusive. They feel that they matter, they feel that their
questions will be heard. So e.g. you can
create 234 videos within a week by selecting
the top questions, the questions that you get more frequently than
others, or even e.g. have a Friday session that you create a one-minute
video and you try to include as many answers as you can in a single video. So it's really
important to train your audience to know
what they expect for you. The novel custody knows, we bring them a
great platform and the new episode websites. I wish I knew earlier they
know that you will be setting a great tip about nutrition
in your next episode. Whatever you know,
whatever kind of value you are able to
create in this platform, do it in a way that creates a pattern so
that your people, your audience, know
what to expect.
38. Coming Up With Ideas: My Viral Framework: Coming up with ideas constantly because
as we said before, we are going after daily
posting no days off, something that many, many
people are finding challenging, especially if they have never trained themselves into
this kind of logic. Into the logic of
creating content daily for their
audience, not for them. Should content ideas that become violent content ideas
that made people love you have this characteristic exactly is being created
to serve them, not you. If you do it the other way around, It's not gonna go well. So ideas are really everywhere. You can really see
your competition. You can map out your
category keywords, which is nothing else, that the most frequently
asked questions on Google, on YouTube, on quarter from your
audience is reading the comments of your posts
or other creators posts. Is you trying to self
express your ideas, your thoughts, your talents
is you're happy moments, yourself moments,
your personal story, things that inspire you, but also commanding and
things that are happening in your category in your
life day after day. Let me show you a framework I have prepared in order to help you organize the better and systemizing it piece by piece. And never feel that you're
running out of ideas again. As this is something that
definitely will help you understand how to use it in order to come
up in five years. I know that many
people are struggling. And this is probably
one of the main reasons why they quit or they are losing their consistency when it comes to posting daily. So I want to help you
with this framework that definitely helped me. So I have those buckets. You see that I have
my Trello board here. So I keep Boston new stuff. I keep filling this in with new things
that I have as ideas. But if you use them as
buckets, as categories, and you create a Trello board or an Excel file or whatever. And you keep filling in
different things that come up your mind as you go
through this process. Because believe me, once
you start doing that, you agree a dividend
would start growing. So you're going to have new
ideas every single day. During moments that you
don't even believe, like when you're trying to sleep or when you're
when you're out, working out, when you're
out with your friends. Use this on an online tool, red Trello or Notion
or Google or whatever. She can really go back
and whenever you have this kind of idea
and normally done. So the first bucket for me, it's personal experiences
and this is a huge one. And really necessarily
if you want to really authority as a creator. Because there are many
creators out there and many of them
have succeeded in growing a following without really being overwritten
or without having some kind of
authenticity or really setting stuff that come
from their own experiences. They reproduce experiences of others because they're creative. They're good at storytelling, but they really don't break out things that come from
their own experiences. And this is actually what is the most unique thing
about a creator, because my experiences
are different from yours, are different from a
guy that starts to date or started 50 years ago. I would strongly suggest
that you embedded in your calendar and that is
something that I do overtime. So this is for me what
I believe that made me unique and what made other
creators as well unique. Because even the
simplest things that you believe that a no brainer
or should I set it up? Everybody knows it. Trust me, you will be surprised how many people don't know that. And we'll find
incredible value by setting a basic experience for you that it's not for them. So e.g. my most
successful series of content is my website series, the one that I keep
selling tools or solutions or online platforms
for things that I do daily. Believe me, when I
started doing that, all I did was going
in my bookmarks here, taking my bookmark list, and start stealing things
that I have since years. That was my initial potential. It is what it worked. Once you do the same deep dive, your own experiences,
and keep saying even the simplest thing that
you do every single day. So having said that, you can use K starts with your clients. What happened with them, how you started struggles with them, success stories with them. All those things are great. Show with people
because guess what? Many others, the same level
that we are right now, or they want to go at the
level of you are right now. So we definitely
resonate with you. People want to know what's
happening in your DM, what you're discussing
with people, finally, things that people
are selling with you. Funny questions. You get funded discussions
or anything like that. Finally, comments
that you get in your posts on TikTok,
on Instagram. So you really can use
those comments or the amps as an inspiration to create a post for every creator, especially their comments
section or the m is the main source of ideas for next post because that's
where the audience, especially when they
start knowing about you, come to learn more to ask you something because they
trust your authority. So use that as a fuel. Another thing that I
get huge inspiration from is the questions that I get on my one-on-one consultations
I have with clients, on discovery meetings
with potential clients and those ideas or things that they also used for
this video course. So I can create content that really addresses
those questions, those frequently asked questions from the people that
I know that they do. Another thing that
I enjoy doing, especially since on the
digital environment, on social media and
TikTok and Instagram, I really can see many people pretending to be experts having some really strong
opinions about things that they're not
so experienced about. The when I see something that
I really disagree or I have a data driven or experienced driven opinion about something, a real experience, I
will set it with them. Or I can create a post
about this controversy. This is something
also that you want because you want to
trigger discussions. You want to trigger healthy discussions with your audience. And that's what also
makes you an authority. Someone who is not
really afraid to say, no, this is not the case. Or I have a different
experience or what everybody is saying
didn't work for me. So let me tell you
what did work for me. So don't be afraid in a nice way to express your opinion and
your own experience, even if it's totally different
from everybody else. The other thing that
I love doing is proving a point in a comic way, people enjoy ladder content. This is something that on
TikTok we see so much. And if you're creative
enough, it can really make your point in a funny way by using gifts or making a fan sketch with a friend or whatever else, you feel like. The second bucket is my tools. Obviously this is the
most demanded part of my content and something that people really love seeing it. So I keep feeding them
because it's just worth what your
audience is asking. Give it to them, right?
You cannot say no. And one of the things that
I get all the time is how you really get
all those two ideas. How do you know all those stuff? And it's really easy. Obviously have a 20-year career in digital marketing
and marketing. And hence, I've used
all those tools, all of those platforms. I've experimented with
different kinds of stuff all those years. So the first thing that I do is setting in a genuine
way what I know, all those things
that I know and I really don't hide anything, whatever can make
people's lives easier, their business better,
more efficient, I said with them, but I
also do a lot of research. I see new things. I try new tools. I go to product com e.g. which is a platform that really verifies new tools
or upvotes them. And I take new things
every single day. Many people are setting with me tools because they know
that I do that a lot. So they're genuinely
asking for my opinion. What do you think about
that? How you see these two? And of course, I
have a big number of paid partnerships from platforms that come to me in
order to be promoted, in order to be known
through my content. So it's a win-win for
me because I get paid. But also I get you
ideas for content. So for me, I'm a
digital market here. And the don'ts for
me, our websites, obviously mobile apps,
Chrome extensions, AI tools, new stuff, and whatever else you're using, your microphone or this thing you're going to
see in another lecture. What kind of tools I suggest that you can use
for your TikTok journey. So for your own case, if you are a fitness
instructor or a lawyer, if you are wannabe entrepreneur, if you are whatever, you need to adjust this kind of content in your own needs, whatever makes sense
for your industry. What are the tools
that you use as a fitness instructor or the equipment that you
use or the supplements, reviewing things that
you do or others do to try to categorize what are the tools for you
and your industry and start creating content around that people
really love it. The third bucket is
industry updates. So you are in an
industry, right? Or whatever it is.
It's a marketing and marketing or in
technology in general. So I need to update my people, my audience, about the things that are happening
in this industry. If I want to be an
authority in this category, I need to be first setting
the news about something, let them know how I
read the news myself. So if I see a piece of
news about Facebook ads, I need to tell them that guys, this update for me means this. They are expecting
that from me to simplify something
that's happening, to tell them first what
I believe about that. So make sure you include
that and it will also help you stay updated. The other bucket is
other creators, right? We're not alone in this journey. We've seen other people
succeeding before us or other people are doing something that obviously
watch for them. So what I do many times as I go, I have mapped my
benchmark account. So people that are either
in front of me or I really appreciate their work
and a scout them weekly. I see what are the best-performing
posts that they have, why they performed grade? What are the pieces
of content that gap? Many comments. What are people saying below
their comments section? You're going to be surprised
how many exams you can find in the common section
of any creator. So by no means, when I say that a scout them and I get
inspiration from them, doesn't mean that I
copied them, right. Don't get a post and I
just copied verbatim. I borrow stuff. I put my own angle, I add my own experience in
ideally, I want to improve it. It's like the
skyscraper technique. You see skyscraper, a very
tall building in front of you. And you see that obviously
is very tall for a reason, what do you wanna do
is not do the same. You want to build
another skyscraper, even taller so you can
see the view in front. So keep this kind of
mindset of how can I improve the
best-performing posts? Other creators.
Another great source of creative ideas for you is the Explore feed and hashtags feed of
TikTok and Instagram. You can really find
insane Zamzee, right? So go to the Explore
feed here on Instagram. See what other people are
creating, get inspiration. See why those pores are here. Do the same on TikTok, do the same by searching
hashtag, so fine. It has like that is
relevant for you. Let's say that it's saved steps. And when you click here,
you're going to see what are the top posts for this hashtag. So you need to understand why those posts performed grade. Maybe borrow some elements, maybe add a twist on the title, or make something
even better, right? Mindset we discussed before, it does the same on TikTok. You see if you search
marketing tapes, you see my video here. E.g. you're going to see other creators as well understand
what they are creating, trying to borrow some elements, understand why those videos and the way that they created those videos performed so grade. And you also can see the views how popular those videos, where, and that's why you see that you can really
navigate across the top videos
within this kind of keyword or the accounts
that are gathering those keywords or
even random videos. So you really can get endless inspiration from
TikTok and Instagram. Another great source is quarter, as well as read it and I
would say those are two very, very popular forums that people are going in
order to find answers. So if you go e.g. here on the quarter and you
search for TikTok tips, you're going to see different
kinds of discussions or similar questions that
people are asking about TikTok. How do I get the traffic to
a blog site using TikTok? What did you learn from TikTok? What are the tips while
making a TikTok video? So you can really
get inspiration by searching different topics
and understand what are the things that
people are looking for. And you can do that for
everything that you really want to
learn about, right? And finally, you can
use popular blogs around your needs and also popular YouTube
channels around your needs. How to find it? Let me show you. Go to YouTube, sets for your own keyword or
a bunch of keywords. Hit search and see what are the most popular videos
for this topic, right? We see some Greek
videos of mine here. So let me go to Neil Patel, e.g. who is one of the
digital market, is that they're really respect. And I find really useful. If I go here on his videos, I can really sort his uploads
by popularity like this. Now you see that
this video, e.g. get 1.8 million views
for some reason. So obviously, people
that are interested in digital marketing
really want to know SEO tips for beginners. And that proves also the
point that I made earlier, that the things that
you believe that are super simple or basic things, many times are the most viral videos
that you will create. Spreading basic
things to people, keep setting
everything you know, even if you believe
that it's super simple, how to promote your
YouTube video, you see 1.1 million views. Those are topics people
are looking for. And that's why those videos
have so much traffic because YouTube is the second
biggest search engine on the planet after Google. So people come here
with this exact term, and that's why those videos
have done so many views. So get inspiration from them and recreate similar stuff
from your own experience. Same goes if I
search anything else like nutrition
tips, look at that. So many ideas here, right? Pregnancy and nutrition. Obviously this is something that people are looking for it. So as you see, although this
channel is not a big one, those guys got this video
with 1.9 million views. And obviously this
is because they hit a very popular topic, which is like tall
nail tips or whatever. So even if that sounds
strange for you, if that's your needs, that could be a great idea to
reproduce similar content. If YouTube is not
enough for you, you can search stuff
in a written format so you can research popular
blogs and your needs. Like Neil Patel, e.g. is for me. You see that every
single day he has a new blog post and I can
really get ideas, Titles. You see the number of
comments that they get. Three. If I see something that
has several comments like this or something even more
popular and older one. You can really replicate and find something
similar, right? So e.g. this one
has 50 comments. Obviously people are
talking about that. Maybe it's something popular so I can really check it out, see what he's referring to, and maybe create a video
about the same mother. If you want to find popular
blogs in your niche, or you need to do is Google it. So vegan, vegan food blogs, e.g. here, you see that you're
going to find several recommended blogs that you can visit and start doing the same. So understanding what
people are doing, what people are discussing, people are creating, what are
popular pieces of content. So you really don't need
to reinvent the wheel. Just make sure to always put your own experience
in the equation. Last but not least,
if you want to have an extra help with
your content ideas, I have two tools for you. The first one is this one is
called, titled generators. So all you gotta do is come here and with the help of
artificial intelligence, you're gonna put your keywords. Let's say that it's yoga, e.g. you will click headlines
and you're gonna get instantly 700 ideas about both. You can create crazy. You can do that for as
many keywords as you want. So learn how to start yoga. 13 min about yoga, five problems everyone
has with yoga. All those things and
an endless source of inspiration for you. Many of them might not
make sense for you, but still you can get many
of them that can give you this aha moment so you can
start creating your own stuff. Another great tool also is a
similar tool from HubSpot. It's the blog ideas,
the narrator. So you can do the same here. You can put e.g. fitness
hacks like that. Give me blog ideas. Here you are. You can get 250 ideas if you put your
e-mail here so you can get a list in your
e-mail or randomly check the ones that the generator
creates for you, right? So no excuses. You can never run out of ideas, even if you would like to.
39. Repurposing Content: One of the things that
TikTok helped me, as well as a creator, is to grow my Instagram as well, to find my own identity and sift it to the
other platform. Because right now
guys, short video, which is the only content
available on TikTok, is what dominates everywhere. You see that YouTube
introduced shorts. Instagram copied TikTok,
and introduced reals. We see thousands of the viral videos that
we see on TikTok, on Pinterest or even LinkedIn. So you understand that it
saves you a bunch of time, but also would show in the
right track in terms of content strategy to repurpose your content from TikTok
to other platforms. In order to do that,
you can do two things. The first thing that I do on my own because it
saves me so much time shooting your video
within the TikTok app. So you don't even
need time to edit, save files and upload
them on an application, and then back to TikTok, etc. Once you post it on TikTok, one of the many available
platforms like this and this, where you can download
your video from TikTok without the watermark and
repost it on Instagram Reels, on YouTube search on Pinterest,
LinkedIn, and Facebook. So for you to succeed
as a content creator, the content creation by
itself is the first step, but it's really 30% of the
success in order to reach the people that you deserve with this content, you
need distribution. And distribution is the
70% of the success. The distribution of your content needs to be done
manually by you, by re-purposing your content
in other blood forms. The other Angry
of repurposing is you repurposing
your old content. So if a video performed grade a couple of months ago or three
months ago, guess what? Nobody remembers it. So you can either repost
it with a new intro or resume the concept by
changing little details. Make it waste, make
it more updated. And maybe you can include
some of the points, some of the comments
of the people who have commended
on the first video.
40. Camera shy? Do This: One of the main barriers
of people on TikTok or any other platform that involves
video camera sinus, whether you believe it or not, because I have hundreds of videos in every single platform. I was camera side too. I'm an introvert as a person. So going in front
of the camera was not the most comfortable
thing that I had to do. So there are two ways
to overcome that. But before I sell them with you, you need to answer
this for yourself. Is content creation
something important for you? Are you trying to build
a personal brand? Do you want to build
trust for your audience? Are you offering services? Those are questions
that you need to answer before you
define whether or not it's really critical for you to appear in
front of the camera. If you're trying, e.g. to build
a personal brand like me, or you are an individual
who is offering services to others
like a nutritionist, a Dr. or a psychologist, a fitness expert, whatever. There is no other
way, you cannot really be this
kind of trust with your audience by showing graphs or animations or
infographics or whatever. People trust humans. People trust people
and they want to see a face talking to them in
front of the camera. That's it. And the reality also is
that the most popular, the most viral videos on TikTok
always include a person. So the first direction, if this is something
really important for you, is to start training yourself to become comfortable
with the camera. And the only way to do it
is by shooting videos. You don't need to post them. Start building that habit
day-by-day open the camera, starts shooting random thoughts, started replicating
ideas from others. And day-by-day, you're going to see that your video
is gonna be better. If I go back four years ago when I started my first video, we really feel embarrassed. That's how you need
to fill as well. That's the process. Everybody sucks at
the beginning and then step-by-step,
we become better. The second way to still be on TikTok or YouTube or whatever, without showcasing
your face is by trying to amaze your audience
in another way. So e.g. you have a great voice. We can use some kind of voiceover and display
in a graphical manner. Whatever you have to say, either by shooting a landscape
or a computer screen, or using animations or creating whiteboard videos with tools like doodle or
anything like that. I even have seen people getting hand sketching
and showcasing a video that tells a story
just with paper and a pencil. So all you gotta do to overcome the fact
that you will not be appearing in front
of the camera is to put your creativity into war.
41. Frequency of Posting: I've read so many theories
about how often people need to post on TikTok
in order to go viral, in order to grow fast. And as I told you
at the beginning, I will only sell things
that I have tried myself. So what I did in those
eight months is to plan for one single
video per day, but no days off. I didn't miss a
single day of Boston. And some days I also
experimented by shooting twice or even
three times in a day. So for me it's all about
building a consistency. It's not about the frequency, although I believe that
it should be daily. It needs to be a habit. You need to create
this kind of momentum, this kind of snowball effect. Because every single video
adds up to your total rates, your total views, saves
lives, comments, etc. So imagine that we have a week. I'm a creator who posts
14 times, twice per day. You are a creator that boasts three times per week
in a month from now, I'm going to have 42
videos out there. And you will be having 12. Guess who has more chances
to go viral to grow faster and also most
importantly, to become better. So if you wanna go after two
or three videos per day, do it, it's fine. Many people do it. And
I've seen many people growing fast by posting two
or three times per day. Don't be spamming always. You need to think about posting something
useful, valuable, entertaining, something that
educates or inspires others. If you're able to
do it three times per day and be
consistent in that? Two or three times per day? I did it once and it
worked from my experience, people that were posting
once per day that we're really putting some
serious thought in that we're able to create, were able to create
more viral videos than the ones that were posting three or four times per day. If you decide to post two
or three times per day, Don't do it one
after the other one. I would suggest to see
in your analytics, what is your prime time? What is the time
that you see that we have the maximum rates based on your audience and
tried to spread those videos within this range.
42. Quantity vs Quality: Linked to the previous
subject of frequency is one debate that I see very often around any kind
of social media, TikTok, Instagram,
YouTube, whatever. And most people are advocates
of quality over quantity. So they are like, no, I don't have something to
share with my audience. I don't want to
just post anything. I want to be able to pause whenever I have
something useful, something really unique to
share with my audience. Well, I got news for you. You will never have
something unique if you don't train yourself
through the process, which includes also mediocre, average, or bad contexts. So quality comes
through quantity. And that's why I always say to people better than perfect. It's much better
to show up daily like an athlete
who never Mrs. a. Day in the gym. Because here's what. You can never be a
superstar athlete and only show up in the games
with other trainings. You need to show up
daily in the training, trying to do whatever you can, try to do your best there. And then when the game comes, you have better chances
to perform better. So don't overthinking,
don't overanalyze it. Don't try to find these kind of super creative idea
that only gets you a viral video because you
need to train yourself. You need to show up,
even when you don't have the idea to create
a piece of content, that's exactly when you become better than what
you were yesterday.
43. Being Spontaneous: Why don't we said
before about quality versus quantity and
how important it is to start focusing on quantity first in order to get
the quality as well, is to try to be spontaneous. What I love about
creative people, all content creators is that
when you start training yourself in this kind of
logic of creating content, of bringing out one single
piece of art of your craft, is that probably
the best ideas that we all have come out of nowhere. So it's really, really
important to be spontaneous. Don't limit yourself. Don't second guess yourself. Whenever you have
this moment to read, write it down, or open your
camera and start shooting. Save it in your
drafts and you can revisit it whenever you
feel creative again. So being spontaneous or something that we
definitely want from you. And it's something that
will be the confidence to you that you really
have it inside you.
44. Creating a Playlist: So once you have a
creators profile, go here in the plus icon on your homepage and started
creating your list. Create a name, a
short one because you have a character
limit, hit Next, and then add from your videos the one that will be
included in the playlist. You can choose as
many as you want. Create a new playlist, reorder your current
videos or add new ones. And every time that
somebody sees a video, he can go within the playlist and also see all the videos, which is great for
your watch time. The playlist appears on
the bottom of the video, but also on your homepage. You can add it anytime
your playlist like this, or even delete it if you don't
want to have it anymore. For me, it's great
because I have all my series here and I have organized my
profile like that, helps my viewers to spend
more time on my profile, but also me to
remember what I have created and recreate
the successful ones.
45. The Ratio That Led to My Insane Growth: This is something I
haven't talked before. And I think that makes all the difference for micro
phi and the growth rate that I have recorded the last month that I am in this
journey of TikTok. So the ratio that makes all the difference when
it comes to growth, right? So how fast you get followers? It's likes to follows ratio. So as you can see here, I've just another couple of guys that I'm constantly comparing
my growth with them. They're on a fast track. They have many likes,
they have many videos, many more than me. But still you see that although they have
a big following, the ratio of likes
versus follows, it's much different versus mine. So in my case, one out of four people
that like my videos, they follow me. Why? You see that this guy
here has a 0.5 per cent of people that follow them versus the people that
live there videos. This guy is a bit
better here, 16%, but this number is almost
one out of four people. This is what makes
all the difference. And that I believe
comes exactly from this thing having separable and cerebral
content for people. And that's why you need to
allow all those settings. Us states saved the device because you want your videos
to be circulated them. This also is a great
signal for the algorithm. People love your videos.
46. Decoding My Viral Videos: What does it really
make a video viral? As we said before, the number one factor
for getting your videos viral is increased watch time and also the
completion rate. So out of 100 e.g. people that will see your video, how many people we
stay till the end. This is the number one
factor for getting more views and eventually going into the
viral zone, right? So the first thing, the first important
element for a video, which is the critical
first 3 s is the title. And that's why we
discussed a lot about the importance of headlines, coming up with headlines that
really triggered and evoke emotions and include a psychological factor
in the equation. But also a hook in
reality is a promise, is a promise that I do as a
creator in the video so that people can stay and see if the promise
is being delivered. So the first
critical thing is to deliver the promise in
an interesting way, in an intriguing way
that will keep you hooked on the screen to
keep watching the video. Now, if this thing delivers, so if your hook is good enough, your title is strong enough. Your promise is
interesting enough, people will go along this green line and keep watching the buildup
phase, right? So you start
explaining more about the initial opening if you don't manage to hook them
with your opening, with your title,
with your hook with your promise, just what? You're going after the red buff. You miss them, You lost them, they swipe up and it's over. So if many people
follow the red route, your video probably is below the average rating that you need to get in order to
get to the next level, the next batch of people
that are going to start viewing your content. So as we said, the
buildup phase, which is between 3 s and nine, is the part of the video
that you need to keep going, keep discussing about
the initial promise. Keep creating the suspense like a movie maker until you get
them to the desired point, which is the delivery
of the promise, right? So your storytelling here
needs to be strong enough. You don't want to erase it, but also you don't want
to be super slow. You don't want to
get bored and leave before they go to
the critical part, which is the promise delivery. And that's where pretty much
the magic happens, right? If you're able to keep them
until the ninth seconds, 89, 10 s of the video. You deliver the promise that
you made at the beginning. This is where you really
can make a video, violet. If they're happy and you met their expectations are
exceeded your expectations, then people are going to
sell it, going to save it, going to go back and
watch it again and stay until the end that you
have your call to action. If you miss them, then
they're going to drop out and your tenses for a viral
video are getting less. If you have successfully
completed the whole process, you're gonna be able
to take them here. You're going to call them for an action which is
clicking my ligand bio common below follow for
more states this video. Save it for later
said with a friend, whatever you wanna do, try to experiment with each
of those phases individually. Try to improve in
the hook phase, tried to make sure that each of your videos have a killer hook. If you don't find it,
don't create the video, don't post it, right? It's that important
then to work on your buildup phase
that we're going to see later in the next slides. How you can do it. Deliver the promise, or
over-deliver the promise. That's where you can really excite them because
they're going to see something that's even better
than the one that they were expecting and then ask
them something in the end. You're going to see
that in most of my videos I say follow for more, and that's why I get many
follows out of my views. Now the buildup phase is all about creating this
kind of suspense. Like a movie maker, like a filmmaker, right? So we want the suspense, but we don't want to
make it too long. As we said before,
the most viral videos on TikTok are 15 s, then aids maximum 20. And that's why you
want the suspense, but you need to keep it
as condensed as possible. So keep phrases at the beginning like you won't believe it. Did you know that? Which is something that
people tend to stick to or am I about to change
your life without of course, trying to mislead them. Or nobody is talking about that. Play around the things that we said in the headline section. The other thing is that it's
super important to increase your Waldstein is
the common section. So you see that things that are controversial, this is e.g. then a video that I created as a response to a viral video
where people were saying, Oh, that this is not working or this is posted or whatever. So I created a response to
that being a bit aggressive. And that triggered
so many comments. And even that video
got violent as well. So you really want people
to go and command, even if people hate. And believe me, on TikTok, there is so much caring and
you're going to experience, no matter how good you are or
how much value you provide, your gonna get haters and even those people
are serving you. Those people commenting
on your common section, I really doing you so much good. So try to trigger that or tell them meet me in
the comment section. Okay. Tell me what you think. Tell me what you try it. What is your experience without? You need to trigger
discussions and also, don't be a diva, right? As we said, you need
to be responsive. You need to go to
your comment section discussed with anybody. Sometimes I also make
another question on a comment so I can have the
discussion to keep going. And when it comes to comments, the more, the better. Another great trick that many
people are using on TikTok is to deliberately make
people, once again the video. And that's why
you're going to see that many creators are really going fast on processes, on how those on showing
something on the screen. Because they want to trigger
people going back and watching the whole thing
again and again and again. And that's why you
see here that e.g. this is my most viral
video ever that got 11.2 million views. This is the total playtime. So this is a great signal
that people loved this video. They kept watching
again and again. As I told you, this is
a super viral video and the average watch time was bit below 15 s. That's
what I'm telling you. That the goal after
small videos, short videos, you
don't need to go after a minute or 2 min, 45 s. You should be able to
deliver great piece of content within 2020 5 s max. So TikTok is a super-fast
glove from people want to get instantly value. They hate big poses, they're getting
addicted to fast. Impressive transitions
are things that add movement
in the whole thing. And that's why you see
examples of creators that are really paying
too much attention on the transition part for
keeping people hook just by the movement element of
the video doesn't need to be the dominant
element of the video. But if you're able to
put some movement or some nice transitions on your videos,
eliminating the poses. It's always a blast and that's
how I do it as well, e.g. so you see that I have this typical transition with my hand, the camera like that. I do that all the time. I tried to do it fast
so that people can really get excited about
what's coming next. And it's finding that many times people are asking me
if this is a trick, if it's a hack that
works great on TikTok, know it's not a hug, It's just a transitional elements that became a signature show. I kept doing it because it
made it easy for me as well. I didn't need to
overthink it or to put some extra effort in crazy
editing or whatever. Now, many times on
the For You page, many people are watching
the videos without sound. So if you're able to add some text or subtitles
or something impressive like this one that
I created from Instagram and I
reposted it on TikTok. It's always a blast
because they sit up because people are seeing
that it's on the top-left. So it's exactly following
the reading path of people. And that helps them see what's happening,
what is it all about? And maybe, and maybe I have that sense for
them to unmute me. And here what I have to say, now this is something
super important and I believe that made all
the difference for me. The videos that I have that
use this kind of principle, or most of the times viral. And this is the outcome first. So when I showcase a platform, instead of letting them wait
until the end of the video, like we said, to deliver the
promise, I do the opposite. So first of all, I showcase to them how to create an impressive animation video
or crazy logo or whatever. So I showcase the
impressive outcome. So showcase the
impressive outcome. And then I'm trying to take them through the process
in simple steps. So let me show you how this
video got 2 million views. Like those. You see, I sold them the outcome. First. I saw them what
they will be able to do if they watch the video. I don't make any promise
as a solo them the outcome and that's how
they get hooked with it. And go to Render forest. Now I take them through the
process, your brand name. What's your brand name here? Like me, step-by-step,
get my logo. Choose the style
that you prefer. I will choose a gradient
on the one that you love. Like this. You can have it read fonts and colors like me down saw them, how easy it is for your arm up. And that because of the
plate or the logo animation you want, I'll choose this one. Place your logo in here you are. So I sold them
something impressive. And then the second impressive
element of the video was how easy it is for them to
do the same. And guess what? People love that. So if you can replicate
this for your own needs, for your own category
restaurant brand, It's always working,
showcasing the outcome, and then take your audience, put them in the driver's seat
and doesn't, you know what? You can drive the car to? You can do the same.
47. Owning Your Keyword: Now, one very important
subject when you create your account
is your main keyword, which is the one that you see here on the top
of my accounts. Or when I created my account, my username is
simply the insula, which is the name of my brand. But I wanted to create a
signal towards people and towards TikTok of what is my
main category which says, you see, is this the marketing? Should I put my name
like that so I can fit both my first name so that people know that
there's a person. And this is my name, but
also my main keyword. And this guess what
helps tremendously when some people are looking for the specific mother like this. You see that I rank first, but also you see
other people here that are helping with
smaller accounts that are helping their
research within the app by signifying
what exactly they are. You see here that the guy says, these are marketing expert. So apart from the username, this is something
really important to put on the top
of your profile. And a way to do
it if you already have an account is
go to Edit Profile. And here you're going
to see that you have your username that
you can add it. But also your main name. Here is where you have
a 30 characters limit. Here is where I need you
to fit your main keyword.
48. All You Need to Know About Hashtags: Now one of your favorite
topics, hashtags. Let's see how I do my research in the app
and also outside the app, I will start with
my basic keyword. You need to know it for me,
it's digital marketing. And here you're going
to see by volume, what are the most
popular hashtags. So the most popular one
is digital marketing. It has almost 1
billion views and I rank among the first videos. In this one, I will check other videos that are
used and rank high, and I will see what
other hashtags they use in these videos. So this has like
might be something interesting for me as well. I always quantify them to
see the volume of search. So this is 50 million
views, a small one. And I keep noting by searching other creators that rank high, what are the other hashtags
that they're using? Of course, they need
to be relevant. So if you don't post
Instagram related videos, don't use Instagram
story tapes, e.g. there needs to be relevant
if you needed added to your favorites and continue researching your second keyword, which for me is marketing. You will search it like that. Same process, we need
high volume hashtags. So pick the first
five of the list and just five-six creators at rank in the first
positions like this. Girl here. That led me to this hashtag which is branding high-volume
one, almost 1 billion. If it's relevant for me, I will bookmark it so
I can use it later. And this is your
needs related search. The second related search is
for the trending hashtags. You can see them in your
homepage, in the Explore page, you're going to see
that from time to time, those hashtags are changing. So e.g. right now I am a woman, is training, learn on TikTok or a rank first is
trending as well. Again, if there is relevant
with a video that you are about to post and this
trending hashtag, definitely put it in your list. So do that I use is this
one TikTok hashtags.com. You can go to the homepage here and you want to be able to search with your main
keyword like this hashtag. So you can see that you have some suggestions here based on the overall posts and also the trending
hashtags right now. So I will suggest create five-six different packets of times based on
your main keyword. So one for digital marketing,
one for marketing, one for social media tips, one for whatever based
on your category. Copy those hashtags
and use them in different buckets in an
Excel document or whatever. Now if you go to slash trending, you're going to
see here the best threatening Catholics
from TikTok right now. So those hashtags, you
see that there are generic so many times it doesn't really make sense to use them. But if there's something
that makes sense, like trending now,
or style or memes. If it's something funny, it's not bad at all
to give it a try.
49. Optimal Time to Post: Now let's find out what is the optimum time for
you to pause. Here. You're going to see my
followers activity, so how they perform
from time to time. And you're going to see that
the button is the same, so it doesn't really
matter what is the day. So you're going to
see that the peak of my rates, it's 6-7 PM. This is the number
of people that are active at this specific time for my account specifically to based on the mix of the
audience that I have, the different time zones and the different
territories that I have. Which means that for
every single account, this is totally different. So for me, the peak of my rate is at 06:00 P.M.
so what I do is that I post a couple of hours before
this big time so it can allow TikTok to serve my
content in more people.
50. Understanding Your Insights: Let's now turn
them into numbers. Let's understand your
analytics, how to read them. What are the important
metrics for videos, but overall for your
account and how you can use them in order to
make better videos. So go to your profile. I would suggest you use
it from a web version because it has a
better dashboard, gives you more info
versus the mobile app. So click here. Analytics. Now you're going to see that the default one is the overview. You're gonna get your engagement with the last seven days, 28 days, or 60 days. Or you can have a custom
report for specific days, e.g. you might want to see how a week performed based on a
video that you get out. So you can have a
specific week like this, see how it performed. If I go to a default of 60 days, you're going to see my spikes. What were my best days
with a video views? These aggregates, the views that you get
with all your videos, even the older ones,
profile views, which is how many people
got on my profile. You see that this has declined
from E versus 60 days ago, number of servers, comments, and then you're falling how
it grows week after week. You see the growth
here, day after day. And if you click View More, you can see that
gender demographics. You see that 75% of people
who follow me are males. Here's my most recent
performance, the last week, day after day for 0.2
followers on December 3rd, 2.8, the next day
and said that on my top territory is my biggest
market is United States. I have United Kingdom. You're not going to see the full breakdown
of your markets. Tiktok doesn't give us
a fully break down. It gives you your
top 56 markets. Now, if you go to content
and you click here, you will see how your
last than posts perform. So you're going to see that
those are the videos that I posted the last ten days. And on this tab
you're going to see your most training videos. So within the last seven days, what are the videos that
performed the best? You see that this one, for me
is the best performing one, has a total 2.7 million views. In just the last week. It has almost
500,000 more views. And as you said, this
was posted November 9th, dates one month later. And you see that
this video is still generates more views for me. That's why TikTok
is an amazing blood from your old videos 12 or even three months before can generate
more views for you. Incremental years that can
help you grow your audience, attract clients even much later, this video was posted
two months ago. We see here it's still got full hundred thousand
more views this week, the last week, and it's still
growing. Same with that. And so here you get a better understanding of
what performance. Well, what do you
need to recreate? Now, if I want to
understand better the analytics of a viral
video like this one, you see that 38% of the
people watch the video in full in this metric is really what makes
your videos go viral. People watching
your video in full. This is the average, worst time. This video is like 18 s long. That's why I told you go after shorter videos has
a ton of shares, which is also an amazing metric that makes people share
the video with others. So incremental people see your videos and you're
going to see also that the viral videos get the majority of the views
from the For You page, which is where more people
are discovering you. This is the total time from all those people
that have viewed it and have rewards as well, the veto, because it
increases the total time. Watch. Here you're going to see some demographics
about the video. It's video can have totally different
demographics vessels, your overall demographics
as an account. Because as we said, TikTok is the greatest audition. Never that here says everything. This video was watched mostly by people who
never saw me before. And this is the amazing part. Every single video for using new opportunity to be
discovered worldwide.
51. Hack #1: Shoot in the App, Not Your Phone: One thing that I have
experienced helping me a lot is shooting my
videos inside the app. Using TikTok application
to shoot the video, use the camera function of it, but also editing
features of that, that makes it super fast for me in terms of the
creation of the video. That's actually what makes
the platform so successful. The fact that it made it so easy for people to create videos that required video editing
skills or videography skills, acquire some kind of
expensive software. So apart from the fact that
it helps you understand the video editing process
if you haven't been exposed to an experiment
in different ways, different effects,
transitions and Tesla. It also helps you to
make it simple and time effective for
you, which guess what, it's a critical factor for
consistency for you to be able to show every single
day at least one video. The other thing that
I have experienced, and I also have discussed
that with other creators. It, it might have some basis is the videos that I've created inside the app of TikTok
tend to perform better. The videos that have been
created outside the app then uploaded on TikTok
in order to be posted. If I had to guess, I would say that you be in the platform shooting
and also editing. It's extra time of
u in the platform. This is actually what all social media
are striving about. Creators and the
audience staying inside the platform as
much time as possible. So especially for beginners, I would definitely suggest to shoot your videos
inside the app. The flip side is that the
quality might be a bit lower, but you have all the other benefits that I just described.
52. Hack #2: Research & Analyze Viral Content: The other Huck is using insights
from other viral videos. I've sold you this in
this course before. I want to go in more detail. Right now, the platform
has so many learnings from different creators in
every single field that you can imagine. From car washing to lawyers, e-commerce stores,
to marketeers, we have millions of different examples of content
types that went viral. So you don't really need
to reinvent the wheel. You don't really need to squish. You have 4 h to understand what is the type of content that really performed well
in the platform. But you really need
to make it unique. You really need to put your
own identity in those videos. Don't try just to
copy a video in a very positive way by copying everything
that you see there. Just to be violent, even if you go viral, people eventually
will understand that you were a copy of
the original video. That is not a good
selling point. Reasons the videos
understand their interests, how they're really hook the
audience from the get-go. Because as we said before, the first 3 s of
everything of video, super critical to understand
how the creator is keeping his hooking the audience
at the end of the video. Because as you remember
and we said before, one of the most critical
factors for getting a viral video is having as
many people as possible staying until the
end of the video and many times looping video
in order to see it again, highlight the point, capture something that they didn't
get the first time. Try to understand those things. Also pay attention to the title. So what are the
headlines that people use dried to adjust them in your own needs can also borrow some elements
from the videos. The way that the
creator opens a video, the way that somebody adds a call to action at the
end of the video so people can follow them or
set a comment or whatever and adjust
them in your own needs.
53. Hack #3: 15-18 Second Videos: Another hug that I have
observed in many creators in my own videos as well is
the duration of the video. And when I say hug, I mean about the
shorter the better. When TikTok started. When TikTok started,
it was only allowing 15 second videos to be created. So that was the main thing of the blood from that
was the only product of the platform and that's
why people still are trained in getting value fast. So what I still see
today is that most of the viral videos are
15 to 18 s long. And if I go to my analytics, even for my most viral videos, the average duration
is exactly the same. Even if you go and
open your app, you're going to see that
the default duration of the video is 15 s. That's what the default settings of your camera on TikTok is. So if you're able to create videos that create value
within this time-frame, It's definitely a must. If you can turn a
30-second videos to a 15-second one without
missing a main point. Do it. So be fast, be crisp, be strategic, and try to keep them until the
end of the video.
54. Hack #4: Borderline Clickbait: Another HARQ has to
do with the titles. So we said before that most of the times that
the headline of the video is 50 per cent
of the success of it. And exactly like news
outlets are doing, or the headlines of
the news on TV look like many times you need to
be borderline clickbait. That means don't try
to mislead them. Don't try to give a false
information on your title, but stretching and
beat the title, making it more impressive
by using the rules we described in the title
section is definitely a must. You need to spend time to
come up with a killer title. That could be by itself a good reason for people
to watch the video.
55. Hack #5: Hijacking the Q&A of Influencers: Now another great way to create more content is by
finding authorities, even your needs,
like Gaddafi, e.g. for me, in the digital
marketing sector. And click on their button or
the profile that says Q&A. And you're going to
find and you will see more than 700 different
questions on his profile. But you can get an answer
by creating more content. People would love to see those
answers on your profile.
56. Hack #6: New Viral Trends Discovery: Now let's see
another search hack to understand the training
videos in your category, the last period, search for your topic
like marketing here. And as we saw on the left tab, you're going to see the
top performing videos of all time for that. But if you search by
filtering on the top right, you see this tab opens that allows you to search
yesterday, the last week. What are the new
videos within that needs that perform better
than anything else? Take this out. You can search by most
liked or most viewed. I will choose this week. And here you go, you see the
most recent videos within a specific keyword that
performed grade the last week. So make your research and
recreate something similar.
57. Don't: Mislead or Fool People: One year ago when TikTok started becoming
really popular in the business or
marketing environment or the entrepreneurial
environment. I was singing many
people exploiting the needs of other people
to make money easy, or to find a secret hack that
will lead them to success. So they were trying to mislead people in order to
get more views, in order to make their
videos vital and guess what, many of them did it, however, this can have a big hit on your
credibility as a creator, but it can also lead to you being banned
from the platform. Tiktok is super cautious
and super strict right now, one year later with
its policy and one of the things that
clearly prohibits is created using platforms are ways or misleading
claims to fool people. Many times, they even disable accounts for
the wrong reasons. But still, you need to read
the policy, understand it, and really respected if
you have doubts about a specific video that might be misleading or might trigger
the wrong discussions? I would suggest don't do it.
58. Don't: Treat TikTok Like YouTube: Another big Don't is to treat TikTok like
YouTube or Instagram. So you need to understand that this platform
is really unique. Tiktok is the king
of short video, king of various sorts, as I like to call them. Which means, instead
of having laundering, like you do on
YouTube or Instagram, so you take your time,
enjoy the drink. You will, you spend some time
enjoying the whole process. Tiktok, It's a speedy process, is all about getting the
salt, getting them drink. Moving on to the other one. So don't try to adjust
your existing content. The one that we have on
YouTube or on Instagram, or the way that you have
when creating content on Instagram and YouTube and
try to fit it on TikTok. This really can work. The other way around, can work. So taking your content from
TikTok, as we said before, repurposing that towards
Instagram or YouTube shorts, trying to fit longer format on TikTok will never
work, shall be crisp. Big quake, whatever you
can really say in 15 s, don't say it in 30 or 45 s, the less, the better.
59. Don't: Quit!: Another big goal that I have for you is for you to not quit content creation and success and social media is not
a straight line, right? So you might start very slow and see no progress in your views. After you stick to your
daily schedule of posting, you might get a viral video, the beginning, get
really excited and then go back to normality, which is average views. Or you might experience
if volatility in terms of the engagement and the reads that you get
in every video. But no matter what happens, you need to stay in the game. Please don't quit early. Try to approach this journey. A journey that doesn't
have an end goal, that doesn't have a
numerical targets drive to enjoy the
creation process. The fact that you
have a love for, that you can become famous with to enjoy the
fact that we have a social media phenomenon
that we can benefit from in so many ways
and keep creating. No matter what. The more content you create, the better you become, the more you train the algorithm about what your
content is all about, and the bigger your
digital footprint becomes.
60. Don't: Come Here to Sell: Another big Don't is to approach this platform as a
medium for you to sell. I know that this might sound against your default setting when you're joining
a social media, which is, I want to
promote my own stuff. I want to promote my services, my products, my business. This is what I'm
here for, right? This is what 95% of people
are doing actually. But guess what? It
will never work if you want to become a
world-class TikTok creator. If you want to build
a massive audience, if you want people
to really love what you're doing
because it serves them. If you want to do this, you need to leave your ego at
the door map of TikTok and mentor selfless way in a way that serves people
first and not you. And you might say, okay,
it goes to the nose. I'm going to build my business. If I do that, the way you build your business is
by being patient, is by earning the respect, earning the trust, earnings, the eyeballs, and the
attention of people. And this takes time, takes time if you want to
do it in an organic way and establish your authority
through your valuable content, should join the
platform without having your products or your services or your business in your mind. So forget ME, selling effort or anything related
to income or revenue. Buddhas, your main focus towards building a community
through value, meaning, offering
things to them, understanding their concerns, understanding what excites them, understand what
makes them happy, understanding what
type of content makes them sell it with her friends, knowing what are the simple, basic things that you might
believe that they are really a no brainer is understanding also the fact that
many people out there, thousands, millions don't really have even the basic
knowledge that you have. Simple mothers, your needs. So if e.g. you are a
nutritionist, right? For you is really given what carbohydrates or protein means or what caloric
deficit means. You will be surprised
how many people we find extreme value if you try to
explain that in a basic way, in a simple way, like you talk to
a five-year-old, so you don't really have to
over-complicate your content. You don't have to showcase
your extreme sophistication, but you have to gain much more
if you focus on the basic, simple things that many
people will value.
61. Don't: Use TikTok for Images: Now another mistake that I did when I entered the platform was to use TikTok as a slide. So Platform, so what
I was doing back then is that I was creating some cartilage
cells on Instagram, shown impressive sequence are different slides that
we're saying a story. And back then I
didn't really want to go in front of
the camera and start shooting videos in a platform that I believe that
it was just for kids. I was afraid of the critics
and I was like, okay, I will repurpose my slides, my Gaussian slides, and
turn them into video, and I will keep posting
them on TikTok. Guess what? Nobody cared. Tiktok is clearly
a video platform. So unless you do something
really unique, like we said, like we said in the
videos with sketches or info graphics or animations, I would say forget
the image slideshows.
62. Don't: Compare Yourself: Another huge don't and something that many
people are struggling on social media and can be really
the reason why they will quit is then
comparing to others. And there is the positive side of comparing and
the negative one. So it's great and you
need it if you use it as a benchmark for
accounts that you admire, that you see that they have a successful journey on TikTok, on Instagram or wherever. So you can really
put them in their other and started
researching them, analyzing them,
understanding what they do and reverse engineering
their own success. So if you do that, it's fine. And actually you need to do it. If now comparing means I get stressed because I
see others growing fast. I see others getting viral
videos and I don t get one. Or this guy got a partnership
deal and I didn't get one. These sets always the
wrong expectations. You can never know what
this guy is doing, what his journey is, and how this compares
to your own. Sometimes even if I
create a video and somebody else does
exactly the same, the outcome can be
entirely different. There are many other
parameters, like the audience, the relevance of
the content with the audience, your
own personality. You might be better in a different type of content that you haven't discovered yet. And you're trying to present something that doesn't fit you. And sometimes
people are carrying years of age once you
know what they're doing. So e.g. I. Might be eight months on TikTok, but I have a 20 year old
career in marketing. This is something
that I'm trying to bring into my videos, into the way that I'm
talking to others. So somebody who is
just eight months in marketing cannot really
compare to my own journey. The same goes with you. So try to benchmark people, tried to reverse engineer
what they're doing well and never compare
your own growth to others. Every journey is unique. Embrace it, love it, because that's how
you're gonna get far. And trust me, if you keep doing consistently the things that we have discussed in the course, there is no way you
will not succeed.
63. Headlines! 50% of the Success: Guys headlines on TikTok
is a huge chapter, is really the reason why
a video can really go viral or not with the
exact same content. And because the
critical factor on TikTok is the first
couple of seconds, really need to be strategic on the headlines that you choose when you
create your videos. So let's see some
principles that I created for you in order
to make it more specific. First rule, keep it short, keep it simple, keep it sweet. So people love
condensed sentences. The ideal length based on
research is six to seven words. And that's why you're going
to see on my TikTok paid all my headlines are
a couple of lines. Only. I never go to a
third line because I believe that this is
a good way for me to keep it short and within the
six to seven words limit, the second thing that
always works and many times is a great way to
include your people, your audience, in your video, and engage with them in the common section
is to ask something. So avoid open-ended Questions, use questions that really
have an obvious answer. And since we've talked
about the importance of engagement in your Bates, asking questions is a great
way to initiate that. This is something that
makes more people reply. Because you need to always remember that the DUF
or something becomes, the less participation
it gets further away. That might sound
weird for you is to use negative wording. This taps into psychology and to the fact that negative
words trigger insecurities. So if I tell you, stop what
you're doing right now, this is a video that
you need to watch, something that would
probably grabbed your attention more
than anything else. Whether you love math or not, using numbers in our
headlines is probably the most popular
thing that we see in the news outlets,
in blog posts, on television, whatever makes the takeaway of the
video real, tangible, it really increases
the efficiency of the video content
and people know exactly what they will
expect and guess what. It's a great way also to increase the length
of the viewership. Because if somebody listens to the beginning about
five tips, e.g. they will probably stick until the end to listen
to the fifth one. And also when you use numbers, use it as a real number
and not as a word. A very important thing when we use words is to be strategic, is to use the words
that we know that evoke specific emotions
that are not neutral. So specific adjectives really breathe life into the words. So words like effortless, easy, simply, unique, free, powerful strains,
underrated, unlimited, or really words that
we tend to listen to. It's a default setting
of people and you need to leverage it,
keep it personal. Isn't it great when we discussed with
somebody and they are including us in
the discussion by referring to us with you. The same goes with video. Using you mix the video
instantly relatable with them. Because guess what? People are selfish? They want to know instantly what's in it for them by using u is always a great way
to grab their attention. Fomo is a basic
principle in marketing. It always works. It has always been working
and you should do the same. When I say four
more, is the fear of missing out we as humans. We don't want to miss something that we believe that will be beneficial for us or that other people are
knowing already. That's how I used
those two titles in my two more successful
series on TikTok. You won't believe it exists. Websites I wish I knew earlier, which are doing exactly this. The dove into the formal element of people, into their curiosity. And they make them
feel that they will miss out if they're not
going to watch this video. Now, after all those principles, if you're still in doubt, use this simple formula, sorted number and an adjective, keyword and the promise. And if you're confused,
how to use this? Let me show you an example. So instead of using nutrition
tips, hello everyone. It's an etic lifeless statement. Use the formula I just showed you some
number that's active. Keyword promise. And turn this lifeless
deep here into this for unpopular nutrition
tips for unlimited growth. So you see that by adding specific elements,
specific words, the title, it makes
it so much more powerful that people
won't be able to miss it. If that still seems
difficult for you, just rationalize what you're
trying to say to people. Use words like tips, reasons, lessons, trigs, hugs,
ideas, ways, principles. Five, secrets or strategies. Rewards that people always want to learn about because
it's something that they really easily can
digest if we want to quantify the success of all those elements that
I just presented to you. You're going to see that
using numbers is probably the most frequently used
element in viral videos. In successful, Bosch is successful pieces of content that whenever you are in doubt, adding numbers is always
the greatest ever.
64. Everything About Shooting Within TikTok: So let me show you
how to shoot within the app of TikTok and edit exactly like you would
do with any other editing up. Hit the arrow here. You're going to see that you
have the camera opening up. So I hit record. First of all, I
select the duration. You're going to
see that you have as a default option,
like we said, 15 s, which is really
important to capitalize it, to use it whenever you
can create short videos. What I use most of the times 60 s. And when you hit record, you start shooting
whatever you want. Five ways to become
rich in five-minutes. So this is what I just created. I should get the first video. You see the progress on the top-left and then
obtains an angle. You can find another
choice of suiting, or you can change a room or it contains clothes or whatever. So this is frame number two. Then he can shoot
the Flip option. You can shoot your laptop e.g. or your frame and showcase something on your
screen like that. And then move back to the front camera and start
shooting for the frame. Number four, you don't
want to hold your phone. You can click on the timer
option here and you can select when exactly you
want Recording to start. So once you hit record, you can say that I want after a couple of seconds
or 3 s the recording to start taking place
so you can leave your phone somewhere or on
the phone ring or whatever, and prepare yourself until
you're ready to record. Now let's continue recording
for the frame number five. When you finish, you
click here five of ways. Then you can go to adjust clips. And you're going to
see all the clips that you just created within the app. So you see this
is the first one. You can select the
trim it like that, or change the order
and put this frame to the end and keep recording from the very
beginning like this. Now you see that you're feeling the first frame like that. So why do you can do also is to change the order of the clips. So if you have e.g. a duet or a dialogue
with somebody and somebody sends
you his own clips. You can really read
direct by holding, hold and press and then moving it to the order that you want. So you can have this one at the beginning or take
it to the end, etc. When you're ready, hit Save, and then move back
here you are done, you are ready shootings and
your voice effects for. So this is some filters. If you want to add
some voice-over, then move back at your sounds
exactly like we saw before. Some effects for the
transitions like this. Some blades at the beginning. I'm going to install some leak. So let's say that we
have this video here. I have three different clips. Now I want to add
the transition from the first frame that I'm
showcasing a platform. So here shall we choose
whatever I want, maybe zoom in like
this if you seek out, this has been added whenever I play the
video, take it out. This promo videos. It Rick leaks, Let's go boom. You see this beautiful effects. You can play with this effects. Even a credit can add
as many as you want. It's like, I would advise
you not to overdo it, maybe add a couple of months. They're not very fancy. Any kind of makes sense
when you're done, hit Save and continue
towards posting. You have clips from
your phone already. You can go here, click upload, and use the clips that
you have already created, like the ones that you see
here that I have created, select exactly the
ones that you want, and insert them in the app. And when you do that, you
can either leave it to get sync automatically along with the song that
you're going to select. All. Here's a default
option, which is the one that I do
it all the time. And here you're going to
see that leaps exactly like we saw the Great Depression when we suited within the app. May this is you can
really edit them, change the order so you
more adding new frame. Show you more. And we read the dawn horse.
65. Set Up & Equipment: So many of you are wondering,
what is the equipment, what is the setup that
you need to follow in order to start
creating content in bulk, many people believe that you
need an expensive DSLR or expensive lighting to create a dedicated room for
that or whatever. But trust me, I
build this following just with assumption a stem. So nothing really fancy. An average ring light or a window which is
full of lighting, which is full of
natural lighting. And this mic here that
many times I hold like that in order to elevate
the colors of my voice, which is a lover year
boy, yeah, microphone. You can find one
on Amazon with 20, $25, and that's it. Now, if you have a
nice background, if you have a special
room rate lighting or beautiful backdrop. Great. This adds up, but it's never an excuse for you not to start. All you need is a decent phones, good lighting, and solid sound. That's it.
66. My Tools for TikTok: So guys, I know that you are really excited when
I'm setting my tools. This is actually what got me
to this following on TikTok. So I couldn't leave this
lecture from the course about the things
and the tools that I use through this journey, but also what you can
use as well in order to make your life
easier, more creative. Explore trends over
gam creativity, blogs or anything else that can really make this
journey much easier, much more exciting, and
much more innovative. So to number one, top board, this is a platform
that showcases every single week
what are the trends regarding music tracks or the music drugs that people
are using right now. And they're really draining
because of challenges, because of the amount of
videos that have been posted on the stroke, etc. So have a look in that. Use the first 56 drugs
at the beginning of your video so you can really get the benefit of the
training socks as well. Although honestly, what I do
is using drugs that I love, that fit my videos, that I love the
base of the temple. So it's completely up to you. Just keep it in your
bookmarks and used whenever you feel that you need
a boost from a truck. The second tool is
regarding hashtags. We analyze that on
the hashtag section. I'm referring that again here. So you can use this in two ways. Either sets for your
term, like putting here, Work Marketing, searching, and getting relevant keywords
based on popularity. And here you can see
also by scrolling down other relevant hashtags to the basic keyword that you use. And if you go here in the
trending list of the dual, you can see what is
trending right now. What are the hashtags
that people are using the most when they create videos,
as we said before, keep it relevant and don't over estimate the power of hashtags versus the
power of your content. The third tool that can help
you is awesome screenshot. You can use also
alternatively, loom. And with this you can screen, record your laptop screen and having you here in this
most shackled talking, it gives you want to create tutorials like the ones that I have created here and you
have seen in my course, another great one is
something that I use every single day probably
insert is for me, the best and easiest mobile editor that
you can use it even if you have zero experience
in video editing. I use it to train my videos
since the order of my clips, to add some effects,
to merge them, to split them into different
sections, whatever. Once you get
familiarized with that, you're going to
see that you have many more possibilities and opportunities to create a
solid video within insult, rather than doing that on TikTok and other great
tool in terms of editing on your
mobile and not on a laptop or a PC case
you don't have is Kafka. This has pretty much
the same capabilities with insert when it
comes to video editing, but it has an amazing 3D effect when it comes to creating your slide shows with
your own photos. So what I'm talking
about is this effect. You post your photos or
a sequence of photos. And by enabling the 3D effect, you create this kind of animation to your photos,
which is amazing. It's super eye-catching. I love it. And it's
probably going to be one of my next videos on TikTok. Try it out. You just add the animation and the photo that you want and
you enjoy the final result, which is super
impressive like this. As we said before,
many people on TikTok or watching videos
without the sound on. So it's very important
for you to be able to subtitle the videos, which is really a
painful procedure if you do it manually. So what I used many times when I have videos that
I'm just talking to the camera without showcasing any platforms is this one gets suddenly.com and what
you do with that, you just upload the file
from your computer. And what it does is to
automatically generate the subtitles that
you see here on the left from the video
that you just upload it. Check this out. Let me ask you something.
Shape. You can change the formatting contains any
potential errors that you're going to see because sometimes
it's not 100% accurate, but it's definitely
the most accurate tool that I have found
that it's doing this. If you want to remove
the watermark, you need to upgrade
in a premium blend. But to be honest,
I'm just using it in a free version of this month
and it works great for me. Now, if you are a
new video creator, sometimes you're gonna
find difficult remembering what you want to say,
remembering your script. Maybe you're not. This type of creator who is
totally spontaneous, opens the camera and
starts shooting, which is something that
I do all the time. So if you need some
help and you have a nice script that
you want to read, you can use this application
which is teleprompter and exactly like the
younger men do in the news, it gives you the opportunity
to record and read at the same time like you
see here on this screen. You read the script,
you look at the camera, nobody understands as
you're reading and you record your video that of course doesn't have a text on it. This is for people who
have an Apple phone, but there is also this one
which is for Android users. So. Whatever you have,
whatever device you have, you can use it, it's free. And you can see if that
can be helpful for you. So now two tools
that we discussed again in the
repurposing chapter. So two tools that I
use all the time. This one synoptic and also
this one, sss dot io. I copy the link of
the video that I want to download
without a watermark. Here I based it like this download and my
video is ready to be downloaded without
the TikTok watermark in order to be repurposed
in other blood firms. Now many people don't
really find it easy to edit their video
on their phone. So they prefer to do that
on a laptop or a PC. And I honestly believe
that this one is the best case for people that
don't have the experience. Of course, if you
have the experience, you can use any other blood
from lag DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro iMovie or whatever. But this one is super easy. I use it all the diamonds
you're going to see. You can create videos both in the horizontal way but also
in the format of TikTok. Many different choices, much
more advanced features, of course, versus mobile labs. And apart from the fact that you can use it for
your TikTok videos, you can do the same, of course, for your clients to create
promo videos for others, to create TikTok
videos for others, and make this an online
income skew for you. This is not free to use. It has like $60 lifetime access, which I think is super tip. It's up to you whether
you're going to invest time to understand how it works and practice
editing videos within that. Now knowing your numbers
and understanding the analytics of others
is super-important. So social blade is probably the only one that
gives you access to the API of TikTok
stricken give you an analytics view of others. So you're going to see
here that supports many platforms, but also TikTok. So if you choose an account,
but if you put yours, you're going to see here
how many uploads they have, the number of followers, where do they rank
in total on TikTok. So you're going to see that
this girl here, Dominic, with 45 million followers, is the 15th bigger
account on TikTok. You're going to
assist statistics how much they grow week after week, how often they post. You're going to see
that this Gayle posted 38 times this month. So pretty much what
I've told you in terms of frequency once per day. And you can use this
to keep track of your own analytics
and your own growth, but also comparing
it to accounts that are within your
own range of growth. Another tool that we covered
in the course is this one, the TikTok money calculator from influencer
marketing hobbies. Why did you can use,
in order to understand how much your real estate
on TikTok costs and awards. So you can put your account here and understand how
much you can ask from your branded
partnerships proposed to calculate your
engagement rate, your estimated an expert post for you or for other
accounts as well. Another really interesting
feature is from Canva. If you search for
TikTok ending frame, you can use so many different than blades
like those amazing ones, especially if your camera size. So you can create a sequence of different graphics or just use an ending frame for your
boss with a call to action. Another great tool
that I use is Notion, and I don't just use
it for my TikTok, I use it for many
other things as a central dashboard
for my clients, for briefing, as a personal
notebook, whatever. So here you're going to
see that I have e.g. a. Notebook that I can access also from my phone
with the videos that I want to create
in the upcoming weeks. You can also create a content
calendar here, like idea, if it's in progress, if it is published, when you published
it with comments, etc, play with it. Understand if it fits
you because you know, like with every single tool, it's not everything
for everybody. What I find useful, you might not find it useful to, if it works for you,
It's a great tool. Give it a try and let
me know what you think. And finally, you know
that I am really obsessed with AI tools,
artificial intelligence. One of my favorite tools
to do that is co-PI is a copy generating platform that you're going to
see here that has many different applications for whatever you want to create, hashtag generator,
Instagram captions, and here it is, TikTok,
brainstorm topics. Click on that for
your project title here like digital marketing, you want, you can
include your website. It gives you want the
tool to scan your website and come up with specific ideas for that, create projects. Here I will describe my topic like digital marketing, tips. Create, copy and look at this. I get instantly different
ideas for content creation. Youtube SEO strategy, how to find keywords to target
for long-tail pro, free digital marketing books. Best It's am I going to style? It is a dose business idea how to make money
and social media. It's insane. All those ideas
are based on searches. And you can train the tool yourself if you have
a specific topic out of their specific ideas
that you see that you enjoy more in by
clicking more like this, the tool generates more ideas for the specific sub section. So take it out. Long tail keywords, more specific ones on the
specific matter. And you can do
that over and over again for any keyword
you want to try.
67. My Video Didn't Perform Well, What Now?: Now an extension of the issue
that we discussed before about you comparing to
others and feeling stressed, getting disappointed
about the views that you don't get
is the question that many creators are asking is why my videos
don't perform well? So this might have
several explanations, like you don't follow
the principles that we discussed about the strong hook, a clear promise
at the beginning, a short length of the video, having long pauses
inside your frames, your value and your readers not being enough for many times, we're overestimating the
value that we give through videos or a video can be so public good and that
people don't get it. Remember, TikTok is
a simple platform. So before you serve
sophisticated stuff with your audience, you need to grab
their attention. First. Many times, I create videos talking about
more advanced things, about marketing, about
digital marketing. And those videos
don't perform well because people came
to my platform, followed my channel
for a specific reason. Because I say to them, I'm simplifying digital
marketing and selling with you simple stuff that we can do every single day with
this or your mobile. So that's what we are
expecting and that's how they are trained
in the platform. Getting instant
value in 58, 10 s. Unless you do that, you will never have
successful videos. But no matter what the reason is that your videos are
not getting views, you need to keep going. That is the only remedy for
low views in any video. Keep shooting videos,
re-create the successful ones. If you're posting once per day, go for two per day. If you're posting a
couple of times per week, try to post every single day. Try new ideas, use
a different setup, experiment with some trends and adjust them in
your own needs, in your own industry, or just find something
that is working currently, a successful video,
a viral video, and recreate it in your own way. So don't get disappointed, don't compare to others. Don't get too obsessed with a number that you
see every single day, your growth rate, your number of use, keep shooting content. That's your first
and only priority for the first 34 months
in the platform. It's how you will stay
consistent in once or twice per day to open your mobile and get something
useful out there.
68. How to Run Ads: Now baked softer TikTok adds go to tiktok.com slash business. Create your business account. You need to enter
all the information, hit register and then add your business
related information, your company name, your address. If you have a VAT and
your tax information, as well as your billing details. Select manual payment and go to the next section which is chosen between simplified
mode and custom mode. The simplified mode
is for people who don't have an experience, even with Facebook ads, while the customer is the
one that I will select, It's much more
advanced and gives you the opportunity to be much more precise in your targeting and find the audience
that you want. Now, moving on to the
objective of your campaign, starting your campaign, you have three choices exactly
like on Facebook. And those are in line with
the marketing funnel. So the first one is writs
campaigns aiming to build awareness and to reach as
many people as possible. That's our only goal. No visits, not
conversion, nothing. Now the middle section
of the funnel, which is the
consideration phase, and it's the one that gives us the most options like
traffic up installations, video views, lead generation. So bringing people to fill in a form or give us the
email or give us a call. And finally, we have the
conversion campaigns, that campaigns that are
focusing on people who already know us and
ready to convert. And this is mostly for
e-commerce stores and perform grade with
product tutorials. Now, I will select the
traffic campaigns so I can set it up and
see how we do it. You're going to
select your website. Since we're talking
about bringing traffic towards a
specific land debates. And now we are at an ad group level after the campaign
level that we selected, the objective, we're moving
on to the out-group. And it's the states that
we're going to select, the placement of our app. We're going to target the
specific audience that we want to reach by
selecting interests, behaviors, but also to set the
budget and the scheduling. Give a name to your group,
select your website. And then let's go to
the pixel installation. The pixel, if you don't know, it is a little code, is a line of code
that enables us to connect our website with
TikTok or Facebook, e.g. and now have the
information of who visits our website after having installed this line of code
on the header of our website. And that's why you're
going to probably need help of a developer. So again, this is optional, but it's very important
if you want to run sophisticated ads and know the people that went to your website after
running the app. So you can run
re-marketing ads that are way more effective no matter
which platform you select. So it's time for us to
create a big survey, to generate this line of
code which is unique, of course, set the name, and
then you have two options, either manually install the
pixel code or automatically, if you have a website that uses one of those
clubs and Shopify, square, seaweed become
espresso, shop, etc. I haven't worked
with websites are we manually install the pixel code. Hit Next, select standard
mode, hit Create. And here is your
pixel. Copy the code. You can set it to your
developer with an e-mail or he needs to do is install it in the header
of your website, but also your website here
to verify your domain. Like this, hit verify. And we're good to go. Now, if you want to enable the pixels that you just
installed, you take it here. If not, you deselect it and you move on to
the placements. So what I do all the time is to select the manual placement. I don't want to place my ads in anywhere else rather
than TikTok itself. So deselect those choices here. Now I personally select
to enable user comments. I want this interaction
with the audience, but also to allow them to
download the video of the ad, exactly like I do
with my normal posts. That helps me, as we
said, increase my views. Now normally I deselect the automated
creative optimisation because I want to
select my own creative. And then when it
comes to targeting, you have two choices. Select the saved
custom audiences based on the previous
data of your pixel, or create a new one from
scratch by selecting location. First of all, let's say
that we're going to run an ad in Austria
and Belgium. How select males, which
is my main audience, and then move on
to the age limit. You see that TikTok is the
only platform that allows you to target people 13 to 17. You don't have this option
to Facebook and Instagram. That's why you're going to see many brands that our teammates related to enter the bloodstream and ran ads before
everything else. I would select the ages that
I know that mostly watch me, which is 25 to 44, select languages, output just
English-speaking people. Then it's time to
choose the interests. I don't want to choose too many. Just big marketing, e.g. in digital marketing. And that's it. So focused on a couple
of interests, max, and then you can
target people based on their behavior in
other relevant videos. So you can target
people that tend to watch videos until the end, or they tend to serve
them and commanding them. Opt-in for those two
behaviors because I know that they're very important
for the TikTok algorithm. Then I would pick my needs,
which is technology. Then the second
behavioral sets is how the people that
are targeting are interacting with other creators, what they're doing with their
visiting their profile, or they're just
doing their profile, or they tend to follow
those creators. So I will definitely
choose to target also people who have the behavior
of following other creators. My needs again, and move
on to the next budget, which is all about budgeting. So here's the big difference with Facebook and Instagram is that you cannot put any budget. The minimum budget that
you can start with these €20 per day, which is quite months. So I'll choose this one. And then in terms of
scheduling our big to run continuously my ad
until I chose to edit. So I will not put an ending date exactly
like with Facebook. You can select around
your ads all day long or specific time per day. I will choose all day long. Just a bit strategy of the
lowest cost possible hit Next. Here we are in the last
part of our app creation, which is the creative. Now, the important thing on
this platform when we run ads is to make Arad to
not look like an ad. So drilling needs to look
native like it's one of the posts of any
creator in the platform. Now, here we have two options. The first one is to use
a creative on our own, from our own page
or TikTok account, or to use another creative from another creator by getting
the authorization code, which gives you the opportunity
to use the creative of another creator when he or she gives you this
authorization code. Let me show you what I mean. So let's say that I
want to authorize one of my videos to be promoted
by some advertiser. Let me select this one. Here on the three dots. I will score here that
says Add settings. And you can select
here to authorize this post to be used as an
advertisement from others. All you need is to generate the code to select the window. So let's say that I
authorize this video to be used within 30
days of the rise. And now you can copy the
code and set it with a brand that you're
working with. So when did you get the gold? You can put it here, authorized post and
then you can run an ad, The boast of somebody else. Now, in case we want to upload a native video within
the blood form, we can use the
single video option or the collection of ads, which is a more
interactive version of serving your audience. Take this out, how it will appear if you run
this kind of AB. So it will require more
creatives from your side. So it can compile it in
a more creative way. But for the sake of simplicity, we will choose the
single video option. So click on that,
upload your creative. It has to be in the same
format as the TikTok videos. So let's assume that
this is my creative. You can take your preview image, which is really important
because this is what people are going to see when they
scroll on their feet. So it's just something that it's really able to grab
their attention. People want to see faces, people being ready
to talk to them. Because it triggers
the curiosity of learning what they
exactly they want to say. And then what we're
about to do is to put our call to action in
the text placeholder. So as we said, TikTok is not a caption oriented
platform, so keep it short. A call to action that really delivers the message like this. You won't believe this
one, take it out. And if you need help
with your caption, there is this AI oriented
smart text feature where you're gonna
put your keyword, your main phrase, you can
select also the industry. Optionally. If you
click Generate, the platform will
create some suggested. Next for you. You see here the
different variations. But I always choose
to use my own words, my own tone of voice, and my own head and thoughts. And the next step is to choose your call to action button. So normally we use learn more. This is what works also on
Facebook and Instagram. So go with that is
the recommended one. Enter the URL of
the landing page that you want to send people to. Make sure that it has
a secured domain. And that's it. You just hit
Submit and you're good to go.
69. 69 You Got This: So first of all, congrats

main points, right, to be valuable and

need to tamponade. So really like I do everything
I do, not ******** here. I really believed the fact that you invested time
and money to get the scores makes you great candidate to become
a success story. So please start date. There's no single
way towards success. There were many creators that they different things and steam succeeded in an honest way the
things that worked for me, and I really believe

changer for you as a person, for your personal brand
