About This Class
This course trains participants to draw out a dramatic conversation with the comics medium.
This is the 4th class in the series. Participants will:
- Learn about the importance of establishing shots and how to use them in a scene with the other shots.
- Learn how to draw various kinds of establishing shots in a conversation scene.
- Learn how to draw various kinds of crops in a conversation scene from various angles.
- Learn the comics creation process of writing the dialogue and using a thumbnail, before drawing and coloring.
With the skills they learn in this class, participants will gain more confidence in telling stories from their daily life or imagination, using comics.
This is an intermediate level class which builds on the previous 3 classes in the series. Going through the earlier 3 classes is recommended.
The materials needed for this class are still simple ones - mainly pencil, color pencil, and eraser. However, you may use a pen if you feel more confident. Or an iPad or any other materials you are more comfortable with!
