About This Class

Hello Everyone,

Welcome back to another skillshare of mine.

Sunsets are instants of intimate and private contemplation. It's a time when we look at each other without mirrors. A sunset tells us what we are and where we should head to. It's a spiritual guide powered by Mother Nature and one that we should never neglect. Dusk teaches us to be a better person and choose happiness over wealth, careers, resentment, and lies. Sunsets are also intimately connected with love, life, God, friendship, family, the beach, and the ocean.

I've added reference pictures in the project section, you can take reference from those pictures too. i hope you guys enjoy learning these super easy and simple sunset paintings.

This lesson is perfect for watercolor artists of all levels.

1. Introduction : Hello everyone and welcome back to another Skillshare class of mine. And it's all about the Indian beautiful sunset. So in this class we will be painting tree beautiful sunset and slow it. And we will be using a limited color palette. That means we'll be using the same color valid and doing all three paintings. So let's get started. 2. Art Supplies: Hello everyone. So let's know our supplies that we need in order to create these gorgeous, beautiful sunset. I will be using our masking tape to tape down your paper. And I have taken a 300 GSM watercolor paper sketchbook. It's a square sketchbook. If you don't have, then it's okay, Perfectly fine. You can take a E5 says paper, 300 GSM watercolor paper. I'm using a flat brush then number, round brush for number, garden for two colors, warm brown, graphed angles, liquid watercolor, lemon tart. Crafted goods, liquid cooler grape jelly. And the last one, autumn leaves. And we need some paper towel and fresh glass of water for painting. That's it. 3. Sunset and house silhouette: Hello everyone, Welcome back. In this session we'll be painting a sunset at our house. Silhouette from has to get started. Start by drawing first. And once that is done, we will start our bank balance. We are going to stop. The idea of this painting is that we are building a sunset behind the house. The bottom part of the painting will be up at five bent but yellow and orange. And as we move towards the top, it will get darker. So once we'll start building the dark ABR, if I'm bending, I will be using grape jelly and a mix of handoff orange color. And in the meantime, if you feel that the top area of the bending because having too much of water and there is less but name, make sure you're just lived their excess water and color and dab it on the paper done. Send the top area I appeals create jelly and autumn leaves, but the shade of orange book, to give it a darker tone of it, that color lifting technique to get the schoolteachers of clouds and by being dead. And so back on paintings. John starts in the foreground elements, that is silhouette of house and really be doing some plant by plant and foreground element also. So as for houses, complete, start building some white flowers. And for that, I have used prints 1000 number. Dash. Painting is almost complete. I hope you guys have enjoyed the session and we'll be reading for your project from the project section. Thank you so much guys for joining me. 4. Farm sunset: Hello everyone and welcome back in another session on Sunset and silhouette class. And in this session we will be being finger farm sunset or banned censored, as you can see. So we're going to use the same color palette, Don Lemon, the grape jelly color, Autumn Blaze, warm brown, and the black color. So first we have to draw the outline of the sketch that we have to be in the foreground. Because the background we will paint, our glowing sunset can see. And the foreground picture is now that I am creating with the help of a mechanical pencil. I will be uploading all the reference images in the project section so you can easily take difference from that. And once I pull grounding wages strong, we will start building our Baghdad. Repeating the same process. I'm just reading my flat brush and it is just a wash of clear water. I start bending using the lemon dark color. I'm going to leave white space in between the yellow strokes all became art. Although he was censored. And start adding the orange shade in that top area of our buildings. So to get the bright and vibrant colors, I am using the orange color in multiple layers. And later on, I'm going to add a bit of grape jelly in the midsection of our bending. So whenever you are lifting the color from a B day, make sure your brushes clean and you remove excess water on the paper. Add more depth. And I've been doing, I'm going to use the grape jelly color and.gov ya of our bending. So it will give more prominently. Hi, all ground elements to compete up in bank. And I'm going to use black color. I'm using my round number. Hi, I'm using or you can use. And I hope you guys have enjoyed. This session will be uploaded in the project section. Thank you so much guys for joining. 5. Sunset & trees: Hello everyone and welcome back to the third class project. And thus we will be painting a sunset for that tree silhouette. We're going to use the same red and red technique, dark we have used in the past two sessions of sunset and silhouette class. So I'm applying a wash of water on my BBA to give it a nice shine. And I will turn my sketch book like this to know that there won't be any pool of water on the surface or flight people. I'm going to start my opinion thing with Lemon tab color that is a shade of yellow and horizontal strokes. And in-between those strokes I'm going to leave a white gap to give the sheets of grape jelly color later on. I'm using here autumn leaves that associate or four-inch from and angles liquid watercolor. And I'm going to use mop brush to mix these two shapes and create more strokes by painting this guy. And this is one of the most easiest class project that we are painting in this class of sounds sudden solute. For creating this answer. Here, I am using one brown color from Gamblin photo colors just to give it a depth to the sheets of this guy. Add. After that, I'm going to use darker tone of grape jelly to add more depth and the use of sunset. Using the darker tone of grape jelly color. And if you don't have this color, that's completely fine. You can use trade, trade, read with him to offer black, just a light hand of black. Okay. And as in the upper right corner for me of a painting, the yellow is very light, so I'm applying multiple layer of yellow color to give it a more prominent than my Brent luck. So now I'm doing Doris onto stroke the GOP debate GAVI have lived between the layers of yellow. And I'm using a darker tone off grape jelly here to get the Baalbek use of sunset. And I'm using my mom brush to make sport of the colors. Make sure again and again, I'm just saying make sure your brush should be clean off any pigment when you are blending two colors, okay. Now our background is 3D and I will let it dry. I'm going to use warm brown tool. And I will do a live one stroke with the color. And I have cleared my brush and clean water and I drag it down to the bottom part with the help of dark water. So use any xenon arc around Josh are any detailing brush to draw the tree silhouette. And here I'm using plus 1000 number brush. But creating these details. To create our brushes, I'm using warm brown color to create more depth and thus ADR. So let's get started. Okay. Finally, make sure you don't do. It should be a nice balanced composition. Okay? Yeah, almost done with our details. And I think this company, I hope you guys have enjoyed the session. Do let me know your thoughts in the project section and do upload your project in the project section would love to see your beautiful paintings. Thank you so much everybody. 6.
