1. About the Class : Hello, I'm Kirti Nama, a watercolor artist. In this class we will paint four different landscapes. This class is for beginners as well as intermediates. Hope you will like this class. 2. Project 1: Hello and welcome back. Let's draw the sketch. Draw a mountain here with irregular surfaces. We will start by applying water, wet the paper very carefully, and lift up or upside down so the water flows downwards. The water should not learn in mountain area. Wipe off any excess water you have on the paper. Now, I'm mixing some white paint with Clemson and diluting it. Applied the diluted paint in lower portion while the paper is still wet and let it flow on its own. I apply the paint carefully. No paid diluted, ultramarine and apply between pink like this. Look how nicely the paint is flowing. Now take purple paint and apply in this lower part. You have to work very fast because we are using wet on wet technique. Now I'm applying a second layer of pink and some blue and the green. Now move the board in all directions so the paint will blend nicely. The sky is completely dry. I'm taking the pink mixture again and applying it here. The paint is too light, so I'm applying a second layer. Apply blue paint and again till to a board. This will give us a fairly smooth blending. The paint is light and paint a second layer. I'm also a plankton diluted purple in the lower corner. Now we will paint the mountains. They will use dry brush technique for mountains. Big black paint and very thick consistency and wipe any excess paint to have on the brush. Pen drive versus storks. Apply the strokes in the same manner as I'm doing. Now we will paint some light and smaller strokes in other direction. The mung beans are done. For this part. Pain smart triangle shaped blocks with black paint. You can also first draw that out with pencil, and then you can paint them. Keep bending the locks until you are satisfied. And it's done. Peel off the tape. Always peel off the tape at some angle to avoid scrapping or tearing the paper. 3. Project 2: Welcome to another lesson. Today we are going to paint a beautiful blue lake. I'm starting with the sketch. Draw small mountains as they are very far. Then I'm sketching the lake. Some little Zach's scarred by applying water on the sky. Here, I'm using Simulium blows on the stroke. You can also use turquoise blue. Apply the paint nicely. Voting for the bright blue sky. Then I'm using ultramarine blue on white time. I'm using the paints in a medium consistency. It is not nor diluted. I'm painting a second layer of ultramarine blue to make it more vibrant. Now, I'm using Prussian blue, the darkest blue I have. You can use any other dark blue. At last, I'm using Payne's gray. Now. I'm blending the colors with a damp brush. Now, apply water on low bar. Applied load being applied slightly darker shade of blue and blend them. Now I'm using ultramarine and painting over the light blue pane. Now, let the paint dry. Let's paint the mountains. I'm using black paint for mountains. Here I'm using a smaller brush for little dogs. Let's paint some dots and done. 4. Project 3: Hello and welcome back. Let's start by sketching the horizon line. The sky area, a plan, a good amount of water so the paper stays wet for much longer. Dilute some civilian blue and apply on the sky area. Paint the clouds in a way so they are thinner near the horizon. The Cloud should look like all the clouds are meeting at a point somewhere on the line. Keep in mind that the pain should not be too diluted because it would dry much lighter. Mix more water in blue to get even lighter shade and apply it on the horizon line. Also apply the same light shade between the clouds at the whitespace. It really helps to achieve a good plan, and it will also give us different highlights and shadows. Now apply cadmium yellow on the lower part. Here. Actually, I forgot to apply the water first part and now apply cadmium yellow. The law should not be too light or too dark. Then take some more yellow, competitively thick consistency and apply at some parts. Now our paper is partially right. Diluted sap green and apply on the sides and blended with the yellow. I'm applying more yellow between the green and now blending it. Applied lemon yellow in a thick consistency and let it dry. The paper is fully dry. We will start detailing. I'm using a smaller brush for grass except green on your brush and start painting strokes like this. You can use sap green or any of the lighter green you have. Strokes and foreground. Move them all as you find suitable. Also paint some dark strokes. You can use hookers green or any other dark green you have. Keep bending grass until you are satisfied. He also different shades of green and different size strokes. Banks, smaller strokes near the horizon to depict farther away glass. Now we will be painting by ground mountains. I'm using dark green mixed with black. I'm not using pure black. Small mountains near the horizon line. Let's peel off the tape. 5. Final Project and Final Thoughts : Hello and welcome back. Let's start. Apply an even coat of water. Wet the paper completely. Backup cadmium yellow and apply on paper randomly here and they are leaving whitespaces. Take some paint in thicker consistency and paint a second layer. Now I'm using cadmium, then you can also use 1 million of scarlet red. Apply it on whitespace. Here I have diluted golden leaf turn neighbor palate. You can use any warm shade of yellow. You can make some brown with yellow ocher. I'm using golden deep. Again. Keep painting until you get a nice blend between all the colors. That part has disappeared. So I'm applying more cadmium red. Let it dry now. So the paper is dry now and we have got such a nice audience guide. Now, I'm using a mixture of burnt umber and black. They will paint a mountain here. Note that the surface of mountainous levels, more paint and regular surface and fill the mountains completely. Once it dries, we will paint a second layer as it will get lighter after grind. I'm switching my brush to a smaller size to paint than just n leaves. Band, one band here too. You can paint as many branches as you like, but don't make it too crowded. Now we will be painting leaves, then small leaves carefully. The brand just m leaves are now done. Now we will paint some white gouache. You can also use postdoc Allah or acrylic. Makes water than it does small circular shape. More layers of white if it is still light. Now paint the second layer on the mountain area. And we are done.
