I'm really excited, the heavier here, and I wish years the West with your watercolor journey. So what we will need to, in this class, we will need watercolor paper. Also, you can use some simple paper for practicing basic brushstrokes. That's fine. But for watercolor projects that I would suggest you so that you will take better paper. This one is 100% cotton one and it's 300 g thicker, and this is cold pressed and fine grain. So this is my favorite paper which I like to use. So for these projects, why? Because it gives you more time to play with colors and to create beautiful color blending to correct the shape. So I encourage you, just for final projects, try to use better paper practicing. You can use any paper. However, again, I encourage you to take a good one because then as a result, also will look much better. We will need pencils. This one is watercolor pencils, but you can use any pencil. So those colors which you like, so mainly it's like pink, blue, green, violet. We will need watercolor paints, grab the ones which you have and uses those colors, which you like. Again, for Flowers, They usually it's more or less pink, red, olive green in the Class Projects. Or I will command which colors I'm using for mixing and brushes. For brushes, I encourage you to take the basic ones, round brushes. So the only thing that it's better if they would be where else here or imitation of squirrels here. Why? Because as a whole, much more water and for creating this kind of expressive brushstrokes, it's really important so that your brush will hold quite enough water so that it will allow you the moment. If the brush doesn't hold water, you will find it difficult that your brush won't move on the paper. So just grab and checked, know best ones, pencil, some paper or sketchbook for the same shape study. Then we will need water. Usually I used to that one off for cleaning my brush and another one that again, to clean it. The answer to be sure that it's really clean. Because on this it will depend my colors. So as they would be transparent paper towel to remove for extra moisture from your brushes. And good mood, excitement. And actually that will do play and to help fund robert your materials and start to play with our brushes. 4. Basic Brushstrokes: Let's start our practice with some basic brushstrokes. For these, just take any brush which you have or the one which you would like to explore. And let's see, any Brushes and any paint at the moment. Here, I have this red paint. I'm just buffing my brush to take it. Let's see. So one of the differences say if you are placing really light pressure and you're touching just with a deeper your brushes a paper. So let's see what it will look like if I will press more heavily. Another thing, what happens if I paint? If I make the line? Fast, fast, fast, fast, or slowly. So that there's also different energy which I transmit through my brushstrokes. Let's see what will be the circle. I can paint the circle like this. Or or I can make it a with more pressure and then it will be stronger. So just play something, doing light and something and doing stronger. So this one's has much more energy and you might notice it. Another thing, once your brush has got less paint. So then also you can play or you can remove this extra paint like this. And then you can make this is still wet. So I will need to remove a bit more. And then you can play also with textures and dry brush. This one is dry brush, brushstrokes and drag it. So then it allows you to create some textures. Another moment is going to be dragging, and you can drag this way. The brush, you can change, it, changes the pressure. So here are less, more and layers. And to add also the movement you can drag down or you can drag up. So you can see that this is also quite strong and you can do it slowly or you can do it fast. And this also create some textures. If it's dry brush. Let's play with more and let's see what will happen if we will start to rotate our brush while we are dragging it. So then it's real. This one is really FUN. Just rotate and try to change the pressure and to play with your brush and see what kind of lines you can get with it. The practice more of the brush, you can make these kind of movements breath in less, more. And another good exercise for practicing the pressure and elasticity of your brush and try to drag it and go up, released the pressure slowly, slowly. One mop brush stroke. Or it could be by dabbing anti-gay forces. You can use their point of your brush, then you will get some dots. Or you can use the body of your brush. And then these dots as I will change the shape. What will happen if we will add a bit of rotation? So here I'm again, I would like dabbing, dragging and rotating. So try this moment and you can do it in words and the same outwards like this. And you can say that I'm changing EBIT my moment as well. You can make some brush brings. You can make it bigger, a bit smaller, smaller, smaller. And this depends on pressure and whether you are placing the whole body of your brush Towards as a paper or just a small part of your brush is the same as a bigger brush. You have a bigger variety of these Brush Marks you can create. Just take some, any paper. It is fine office paper. And the practice with this Brush Marks and what kind of movements or you can get Blaine with your brushes and with your hand. And let's move to the next lesson, which is going to be more FUN 5. Gestural Brushstrokes Practice with Simple Shapes: Welcome to the new lesson, and here we will move one step forward that complicated more our gestural Brushstrokes. What is the difference between pencil and draw when it was a benzyl and painting with a brush. Let's explore this with pencil. Usually we can draw a shape and then this shape, we usually color it, no, fill it. Let's is a difference or with some simple shapes. Here I have some simple shapes, the eyedropper, sarco, another teardrop and something like this as this will already reminder bit like leaf shape and some flower shape. And let's see what we can do. If you would use a your brush the same as pencil, then probably you will do this way. And I have seen quite many people doing this and then to color, to fill it with the paint or like this. So here I'm painting my flower. Then I just feel the shape. For example, if I would paint it like this directly with Brush Marks as it is the brush like this. I would say that maybe in this example it's not so clear, but generally, while you are painting with expressive brushstrokes, it gives more energy. It transmits also the shapes of more natural forms. So that compared, if you are going by this outlining and then fill in with a color, Let's practice a with this simple shapes just to draw them. And now try to cowers them I use in your brush. So for example, my circle, I can cover it using my brush this way. And this, I cannot do using their pencils. So just have FUN and explore what you can do. Or I can do this, the colors, this simple shape. I can do this. And this. These two brushstrokes are in order to cover, to fill this simple shape with color. This one. You can do this way or also like this and the most challenging shape. So we can make it in different ways. We can make like this like circle. And the circle. Also we can do like this moment in which we have used to brushstrokes. And also we can use it for example, this way. So for fulfilling this shape, always color. We have used such a variety of brush stroke. It's really amazing. So I encourage you just to play and have FUN with 6. Watercolor Flowers out of Scribbles: Welcome to New lesson. Here we are going to have phon. Yeah, I think that painting loose style and having FUN with Brushstrokes. First of all, it's about the creative process that you are enjoying. The process, like in childhood, I invite you to take watercolor pencils or, or just the normal pencil, some pink and some wireless and some green. If you want, you can take also some rules called start. Just do like this first. Now, make free your hand so that it won't be so stressed. We are going to make without thinking a lot really fast, mark and also without looking so much, no, I don't know what I will get. I use just different colors. So here I have my Marks. Really funny. Here I have my Marks. And now we'll come as the funniest part that we are going to let our imagination fly. We have some Marks and how we can transform them first, it's not so scary now because our white paper is already has something on it. And what we can do only is to improve what we have already here. Take your pains, take your brush and let start to play. I think it's going to be lots of PFK-1. For example, this one first I have seen this shape, so I will take a bit of violet, a bit of blue. And I think this reminds me a lot the shape of the flower. And just with those Brush Marks, brushstrokes with moving, dragging, mowing, which will have practiced in the previous lesson. Try to create some beautiful flower I'm sure that you will manage and your ones will be a bit different from my ones. But that's why that's actually how you create this kind of unique flowers so which do not look like anyone cells. And here another, I will add a bit of, and here the leaf. You can mix it a bit of brown with green to get beautiful color for the shadows. Really beautiful. Let's move to another mark, for example, this one, what it could be. I think I will take some burrows color. And let's see what I can get here. It could be also interesting to create the flower because it seems to me that it's looking in the opposite, like in this way. So I start like with dragging my brush. I start to create these kind of, let us, I think it starts already to get the shape of flower. Just play with your brushstrokes. And this is like it shouldn't be real flowers, but it's your imagination and just enjoy and let it fly. So here I can add a bit of yellow and your ones for sure will be different from my ones. So that's why don't worry. If you don't see the same shape. But I show you how I play with this exercise and I hope that it will also inspire you to play and to have FUN. So here, this a bit of green. Just a width, brush, brushstrokes. Here I asked them to my flower. We can add also a bit of violet or darker shade here and spread it in it. Perfect. Let's move to another one. I think this one, Let's see what we can get out of this Mark. I think because this could be nice shape for my flower This also one petal. And I really like because you won't be able to create such a variety of shapes from your imagination. But these kinds of marks, they really, really help desk have one, it's really funny exercise. And you will see how your imagination will start to see flowers in everywhere. And then your hand will start to look. Which moment I can make another to take out like the great Sam shapes so that it will remind me of flower. So here I can spread it a bit. And probably there I will add a bit of green mixed with yellow. That it would be flower and add like long leaves. Like this. Could be also nice here. But I think I will leave it at the moment the way it is. Let's move to another. I think that you already start to have FUN. Maybe you may start a bit having hard times for starting, but then I will add a bit of yellow that it may take you several moments till you will see where it actually your flower is. But I'm sure that then you will make the way how to find brushstrokes that all of them are basic ones are and which we have covered in there, basic Barstow Brushstrokes, cell lessons. So what we can do here, This looks really, really nice. I think that it could be like I don't know, what I will get. That is a bit like plane and wild plane. We are having FUN. We are enjoying our practice. And I think than our mind gets relaxed. And we can find some nice solutions. I can add this way. You can see that it's transforming. I think that even I can use that mark which is nearby. This is close to it to add some leaf that is also possible. And this one, I will make it more irregular shape. So it will be the light. I think it reminds me a bit, the flower of I think it reminds me as a flower of something. Some lines we have created already so many interesting shapes of flowers. And a bit of brown fur here for this side. Just play that your creations could be different from my ones. For sure they will be indifferent. And here the leaves, Let's see how we will add some leaves. It could be here, one brush stroke. That's one leaf, and it could be some more leaves. I'm going down. Try to change colors to play also with contrast. Then also it will give some more interesting effects and more volume to your flowers. In this way I made in here I'm adding brown. And this leaf, for example, we can add mixer with some yellow, green and yellow. And to make it lighter, here we have our flowers. I encourage you to get to more colors of pencils and let's add some butterflies. What you can do more or less, you know the shape of butterfly. So you can just make like this. Or without thinking something similar. And one more would be this. Just the sum? Like it shouldn't mean anything really fast and quickly so that the, your mind, it won't have so much time to think what exactly you are going to paint. So just a moment and that movement has quite a lot of energy and to really reflect the shape of the butterfly. So here I have one butterfly and you have seen, I was just dragging my brush tool and I can make it different way like this, like this. So that is another way how you can create butterfly. Just be inventive fields is like joy from exploring. And for sure you will find your way how to make it. One more butterfly. Let's make me different. This one has like this quite big one. Let's add the body to our butterflies. My mixing brown, always a bit of violet to get some beautiful and also just some Brushstrokes. It's not realistic, It's impressive one, so internally, one, play and have FUN. This one is quite big. So here we have our butterflies. I hope that you have enjoyed watching me play. And I have managed to transmit years this joy of playing and having this creative process. So I encourage you just make some marks with your pencils without thinking too much and make your imagination fly. And I'm really, really excited to see what you will create, what you will invent. And so please share your fan simple shapes up lane discoveries in class project section. One of the things which will help you. Please don't make the outline first. Now, it won't help. Just lays as a whole body of your brush and start moving into and see which shape you will be able to create. So just trust yourself and trust the process. And most of all enjoy it 7. Watercolor Flowers out of Spots: New lesson. I hope that you have enjoyed playing with Simple Shapes and searching to find there some shapes of flowers. And now I invite you to make one step more and to loosen your control EBIT more, and to make your imagination to flow even more. So this time, we will play a really FUN think. Even less control. For this exercise. I really like to use Paint, which like I have here like from my previous projects, painting or whatever. So I just takes advantage not to like throw them, to clean them, and just to play. This time we are going to make spots. So make spots without thinking, without control quickly so that your mind won't be able to control it. And then we will be, will be searching for new shapes and flowers. You may close your eyes and see what you will get. Okay, in my case, I think that I'm brave enough. So I will close my eyes. You can not see, but yeah, I have my eyes closed. Here is my paper and I will make some Brush Marks. Then another one. They shouldn't be very complicated. And one more color. Yeah, press final one. We can live sports Marks. I always go style, so I have no idea what I'm doing now. Okay, so here I have some Marks to work with. I think that I will start though with this one. You can take just the same color or start to cover. But this I already see, like it could be some flower. Legs are ones which we are going to paint. And I will add just several brushstrokes more. Here will be my rose. I think that's quite good result. And i'm, I'm happy with my flower. I'm, let's add a bit more colors. We're here to make more contrast. And then also you can transform a bee disease mark, which you have got. One more. I will add more shadows. Ok, here we have quite beautiful flower. It's also very meditative process actually. Once you start to search for these flowers, you start to listen yourself. And if you don't see the shape, I will, will move here we have quite plentiful the players. And to add something, some leaves, I will add some leaves. And probably then here, four here, I will add some. That is already you can play. And it depends also on your imagination and abilities of playing with watercolors that you can start adding more shadows, lights, and so on. But the main thing try to create from this mark something which will remind flower. This one. Let's see what we will get. This kind of flower, probably poppy. It's very exciting. Already. The player with this spots and transform this Spots into some beautiful flowers. It could be challenging, but I'm sure with practice, you will manage to get the say them as quickly as I do. So just add more contrast. Play. The main thing is please don't limit yourself and keep on playing. And I can add actually stem. Here, I have My second flower, this mark. So let's see what we can get out of that mark. Here. It's always some Violet's. I will need stronger color. So probably the same while it was a bit of burnt sienna, so it won't be so strong. Okay. What kind of flower it could be? I think that also what you can do, you can start to change the shape a bit. No example, I will use, I think this part. And at the moment I still have no idea what it will be, the end result. But I'm playing for me is this is the most exciting. So I think that I'm making the opposite so that this might flower is going to be under or behind that flower, which I have here. So here I'm applying another technique that is negative painting. If you know this technique, you can apply the same. If not, just have FUN and try to invent something, then I will just make it softer with water. I think it's quite abstract, but I like the result. So it's not always, you will get some sense, perfect like this. But that's how you play and you come up with some ideas. So for example, here I have like flowery in the flower, under the flower or maybe some shadows. I don't know. But the result is quite interesting. Here I have this my part. And also what you can do like for x1 for example, for me, I even like it more like a painting. I can add more splatters. And in such way I have joins these two paintings. Now, let's have FUN with this final mark. It could be some branch, for example. Let's see what I will get. I can make one more leaf like this. Just coping, trying to copy this shape and to imagine how it will look like this kind of plant. I'm for here. It could be also some kind of white flower. Why not? Yeah, I think here maybe I will add some darker shade over here. Four here. And this one I will transform into in the, something like a white flower. So I will keep one parts and with the same like grayish, greenish shade, I will try to create the shape of flower. I think is good idea. Your one could be different from my one for sure. But I show you does the ideas and how with just your imagination and with some simple brushstrokes, just play. And to make it more interesting, this flower, we can add a bit of warm areas to add a bit of yellow to some areas. Engaged. That is already more complex techniques. And here a bit more shadow to separate a bit. The color. Here, my Flowers out of Spots. Your ones, I shouldn't be so complex. It just that I have showed you what like small spot can inspire you and what you can create. Just the outer one, spot. Search simple shapes or study shape of flowers. Look at pictures of many flowers so that to have incorporated those shapes so what they can be. And then for you it would be easier to extract or to complement that spot with a shape in order so that it will look like a flower. This is my example. Your shouldn't be like this one at you. Start simple. And the main thing, enjoy and have found leave with this process. So this pottage would be like inspiration for you to start to explore and to build the shape of the flower. Please share in the class project section, I'm really excited to see your own discoveries are, and what you have seen in your Spots. 8. Rose Shape Study: Welcome to New lesson. This lesson we will practice with shapes of Roses and how to transmit those shapes are with Brushstrokes. Here I have some reference pictures which I have taken of Roses. And here is about, which is that simple shape, which we can see here. This is teardrop, which will have seen before, some triangular. Another one. Here we have our bucket. And we can see that this part could be a bit more in shadow. This one could be also in shadow and this is the darkest part. No. So here we have our just, it's really like a scheme for our mind. The plan, know which shapes, which simple shapes our mind detector in this flower. Let's move to another one. This one. For our main class project, we are going to use this shape and this flower. So here we can see that more or less it's like this. We can anyone say it's like a heart shape now? Then some that also they go here. Like this. This is general shape and it's really fast. I don't spend a long time painting some leaves, some more glyphs. Here. We can see that there are many, many, many different battles. Here. They are bigger. Looking down the shadows mainly from this side. Here there are more, but those. And here, so here we have our scheme of our rose and one more shape. It's very similar to this one so that you can see but it's not so open. So this is the same almost hard shape. And there are some big petal, so are there and the same. So here you are making this way and a bit of shadow in this part. So that is for our mind is enough in order to have an idea. What Simple Shapes I need to keep in mind in order to build my Brushstrokes in such way so that at the end, what I will create, it will remind, even it will be abstract. It will remind the flower, rose 9. Loose Watercolor Rose with Brushstrokes: Let's try to build the shape of Rose with Brushstrokes. Here. I don't have any pencil mark, and I will use some kind of read rose color and probably a bit of yellow as this has met the rose. So with golden yellow, I like heart shape, I'm making with Brushstrokes and do remember that you can make it yeah, I'm pressing and you can drag it down. I'm creating. So that general shape will remind that heart. For here I can add, make some distance of white so that it will be enough space also for white areas. Bit of yellow, I can add here. So just with my brushstrokes, I'm trying to create that shape. Then there were two big ones with the rotation, drop and drag. I'm creating this shape. I don't make any outline. So it just with everything moving my brush in different directions and as well my hand. I will add here what we will have been talking that in this area as it would be darker. Always a bit of violet. My, the rose was while it, in order to add more depths that some more brushstrokes. Here I have already my rose. We can add stem. And the same with leaves. You just make the shape was your brushstrokes and then you can add some other colors so that it will look more interesting. Some darker went as well. A bit of red color would be nice. Also, we can make some more in that direction. We cannot see it properly. So here we have already our rose. Just remember to create this heart shape. You can add some more petals from the other side. Add shadow, these petals, and then stem and some leaves. Let's add some. But I will add here the same and about the same just with Brush Marks here and teardrop. Here. I have it one side and from this side I will add another one. So just teardrop shape. And then I with some olive green, I will add more. Here. Four here. On the same. As firms, another site. You can add a bit darker colors as well. Bit more of leaves. Just, just have FUN and play here also some leaves. I think that I'm missing. Probably some leaves from this side. Just play with shapes. It shouldn't be like my ones. And also with some red, we can add more contrast to these ones are same. If you will take good paper, it will allow you to create more beautiful effects. For sure, if I will be doing this always another paper I want get such beautiful blending of watercolors. We can add just splitters. And our rose composition is ready. That's how you practice your brushstrokes just tried to recreate that shape. What you can do, you can add also some brushstrokes. If you want to add more depth. But actually it's not so necessary. Here is a bit more of shadow in the lower part. This is a matter Rose with well-lit. I encourage you to do to follow those steps. You can re-watch these videos. If you do not manage to get some kind of brushstrokes, just come back to this exercise. This one where we are practicing different brushstrokes are in different directions are, and then for sure you will manage to find your way how to fill this simple shapes if nor what you can do if you find it complicated to move on to paint this way directly. What you can do first may exist Shapes and then just cover this shapes as we did in previous exercises. Just covered them. So like this. And then you will know their movements which you need to follow. So that this way, this big one, this one, this way. So like just play with Brushstrokes. How did darker color on the Toronto the same with this one so that you are just covering the shape, but don't make outline and fill the outline. Just the shape. And here it is. I think that is a great way. How you will incorporate the shape now and what you will need is just to play and to see which kind of Brushstrokes so you can read, you can make in order to fill this shape with color. I hope this will help you. You will enjoy this practice and I invite you to move. Once you will play enough with this part, I invite you to move on to our class projects that we have two blue daisies, which is a bit more like beginner friendly. And intermediate one is this is Vintage Roses 10. Blue Watercolor Daisies: Let's start. We're going to paint some beautiful Lawson flowers flow will need a yellow, blue, pink. And why Let could be more or less as the scholars, this yellow is quinacridone, gold. But you can use any yellow which you will start just making. Circle. Then with another brush, for example, this one. Spread it with water, just with water. Making the flower center. Then you can introduce some other shade, darker one. The dark color of yellow. It will look more interesting. Let's Make sense now the color for our petals so that I will use some blue and I would like to get some kind of beautiful blue. I will add a bit of quinacridone rose. And does this, I will add a bit of orange. This is quinacridone, orange. So the color, you can see that it's some interesting. I like a pastel shades of blue, a beautiful arch. So here is the golfer probably a bit more of blue and we will make probably it's too dark. I would like to add more blue collar so that it would be just with Brushstrokes. This color is much more beautiful. Up. So simple brushstrokes and up. Let's add nearby and other flower or use more like brownish and darker yellow. It could be burnt sienna. And let's add this color. I will add a bit more of blue because I'd like to make it lighter, more watery. So you're just always this time I can switch their brushes. This one is really blue. I will add a bit of pinkish bit of orange just to make different shades. And so that will make our flower look more interesting. Now, let's add the opposite blue centers and yellow petals. Let's mix the same blue with some other pink or red. Yeah, here I have quite beautiful color. I'm probably four here. That with dots. And making flower center. I will need to add some darker shade, probably wireless. In some areas. Like this to how a look at another brush. Let's use these brush for adding petals. I'm teaching. You can take those colors which you like because actually, in fact we're practice brushstrokes. You can add some darker areas, some color. Here we have another one. And probably over here, now one more interaction is the same. Blue and pink I have mixed. And then I will add a bit of violet to add more volume. Now let's add some petals. I think that I would add one more yellow ones here, four here, and a bit of wireless Brush Marks. Okay, so here we call them. I think that it could be nice to add some, like let's say lavender flowers For this, I will use some kind of mixture of a burnt sienna with while it to make some beautiful brown color. Here is when I'm switching to smaller size. Because this Brushes and then switch into smaller size because I will need a smaller brush brains. And here I'm mixing the colors to make it more violet. I'm looking for wireless color. And with this, I will make some stamps. Let's add should be more. While it I'm trying different blues, the ones which I would like. And just add some brush, brings in some flowers. We can add some more. From zed sides. We can switch to another brush and to see how it will be with another one. You can see that this is more watery. This one introduce some darker shade. This one is more flexible compared to the previous brush and you can create more textures. You can place here also some. Then to join. Let's add stem sounds and we will see we are missing. And it would be nice to add some leaves can mix with this yellow so that it will be warmer. Really, really simple. I didn't want to make very complicated project that you would try your brushes, brushstrokes, how they behave. You can add some darker color, some brown or some orange burnt sienna, into also some beautiful shades to your leaves. So here we have already a really many lives. I switch now to smaller brush and I would like to check where I need that mole volume that is definitely here. In these areas, you can add burnt sienna or even some dots with wireless so that they will add, will add darker shade. Then we can add more contrast for our petals, the same blue, I mix it always orange and a bit of pink. In some areas we can add more color. Here. Also, let's add some darker shade. That was some wireless. Next year. Also, we can add some darker shade here to flower. Lavender will mix blue with a bit of oil that's too much pink and a bit of orange so that it won't be so, so strong And also in some areas to make them darker. It will add additional contrast. Let's add more life to our flowers. And we can add, and also to practice some brushstrokes. Now, let's add some be always yellow. I will let here four here and four. Yeah. We'll have to wait until it will get dry a bit so that it won't bleed completely. And meanwhile for here, allege, add butterfly. I would make it more out of these colors which I have on my palette. That is really beautiful. Brushstrokes. Let's at first, my Brushstrokes goes into this direction. And then outside. Let's add here one more butterfly inside. What it should be more and more watery. All right, and outside, really beautiful. And that is just to Brushstrokes, isn't it amazing? Probably I would add from this side. So then you need to move your brush in the opposite direction. First towards you and then outwards. So this one isn't so beautiful. Okay, so like this, and let's add bunny. So this is burnt sienna with a bit of violet. And we can add also some here. Just like dot. I'm really beautiful. And this one, I would say, to make it as that It's flies into our direction like this. And here we have our butterflies. And let's finish with our be. I don't have black color. I mixed black color usually that is Payne's gray with a bit of red and with a bit of burnt sienna with not read but can agree on rose, rose. Yeah. So this is then the colors which you are mixing there. More interesting. Here we can add some axis. Here is our bee. And I think it probably to add one more B. Also we can add some butterflies. You see that it's dry brush and it has got like separated. So I get to this moment ago, is this why did was look I have pressed too much. That's what I was telling about Brushes sensitive and what we can do. We can remove that as a solution. How are you going to remove watercolor? Isn't it great. Let's add here one more big than it would look much more beautiful. I think. Here I have the same I'm making. Also it could be another type of butterfly actually. Let adds the yellow. A bit of this, my dark color. Let's see what will happen now. If I want to eat. Here we have another bee. And to make it more interesting, I think that or let's add a bit of moment just by adding some splitters. Some areas I will make wet. Remember another brush, bigger one, so it's perfect for making wet certain areas. My BFF, I have touched my view but doesn't matter. Then it will be a bit blurred. Splitters going to be yellow, I would say years and it feels like son, really sunny day and all these flowers in blazar and bees of line. I think that's, yeah, that it could be nice. Yellow splitters. If you don't like some of them, you can remove too many splatters. So that is you can control just with some paper towel. And I think probably hear about, I will add some green splatters and some more yellow splitters. One so they will that's this area will get Dr. Splitter. So on wet paper, they got blurred and there's a one cell which are on dry paper, then they keep staying. I think that I am really happy with that will work because it's really transmit this feeling of joy of summer day. And I hope that you have a practice, your brushstrokes, and also have enjoy painting. Flower composition. See you in the next project. 11. Loose Watercolor Vintage Roses: So let's keep on having FUN. I offer you a second class project. Let's practice as a types of Brushstrokes because they, in the previous one we have used more like Brush Marks. And now let's use also brushstrokes where we will need just a moment of our hand. And it's going to be a bit more tricky. Here I have quinacridone gold, and this is, I think, quinacridone coral color, so Pinker with some yellow. Let's a bit more of yellow. I think he'll like this and some big brush. And let's see what we can do with bigger brush. Bigger brush holds more water. Also it has bigger body, bigger body it means is that it will give you more variety or Brushstrokes. So let's see, and you can see that this brush is round, so it gives me really like round, circular brushstroke. I can introduce some other color, some areas so that it won't be so unified color. And let's see this one. I'm using all my brushes so that also you will see how they are in practice. And probably with this one was can a grid on rose. Let's see what color will get some. So you can see that this brush is smaller and it doesn't move so easily that I need to press it more. Compared to this one. Look, this one, I just touch and it already make leaves as a brushstrokes. Also, it's really great to paint with a several brushes. I will add some more concentrated color. I'm mixing coral, coral with ultramarine blue. And I will introduce here more in the lower part, shadow. So we are when to paint some kind of roses. Let's add then next one example. You see that this one moves easier compared to this one. For example, this is, I find this brush more flexible than this one. And it depends like what you are going to do. You go into Paint, which style and which technique you are going to use this all then you may need one brush or another. So here it just a creating the shapes. You can see that I'm moving it as would have looked more incarnated, more this way. Vertical. So I'll be darker color where there is a shadow. Lower petals, closer to the center. That is just plain your brush. And we can add also a bit of mixture so that it would be darker color of this quinacridone coral always with trauma in blue. And also in some areas we can add these color. And one more. I will make it really light. So you can see that with this brush you really can dance on the paper. That it allows you to make really many moments. For example, this one, it seems to make too strong color. You can just lift it. I remove extra moisture. Then you lift the color for this would be better, stronger like more resistant brush like this one which is Kolinsky sable. You can see that it will be able to remove better the color. So Z is, for example, in cases when you see that it's too dark, the beginning you went through really dark and then the resist ways that you can lift the color. We can add also some, some bad example for here. Here. Maybe here Yeah, maybe for that I take different brush. So because this one also, when you need more water, It's nice to use a water holding brush. This one holds less water, and at the moment, I don't need to really a lot of water so that it won't start to move my button. And here I have olive green. Mix it with a bit of yellow. I will add some bonds. Really joyful colors. I really like this color palette and a bit more of yellow. We can add some leaves. Also. I have one color, that one is undersea green, it's cold, it's differentiate. It would be like calm. I think it will complement this one, which I really joyful how flowers, Let's add stems. I would like to have them not so strong. So, and probably always a bit of red color. So this is my undersea green and I will add the same grid on coral so that to get darker color. And then I adjust at the stems. Here. Let's add also some clips. As his brush is better for creating shapes of leaves. With a bit of oral, it will be more like this reddish color you can add scholar to another leaves would be more interesting to look at your painting. So here, darker color. Here. You can add some leaves over here, some more leaves. So just your work would be a bit different than my one. So that's why just look where you are missing. Some leaves, some colors and add them. I would add now some splatters. And then because it still hasn't good to completely dry my flowers, and then we will add more contrast to the flowers. But at the moment some splatters and again, some areas, I will make them wet. Others nor also you can bleed away some leaves. It will add also beautiful effect of loose painting. And my splitters would be of color. Probably I would make them a bit more like orange. So I will mix yellow with a grid on coral. Some splatters which I'm not really heavily is I can remove because when there are too many blurred ones, it's not so beautiful. Probably I will add some splatters, green one. So this cheerful green. That was this one with yellow mixed. Now let's add some contrast to our flowers. I have switched to another brush, the one which holds fine tip. And what I would like to do is with this moment, I think that a bit more concentrated color. And with this movement, I will add some more definition to some of their petals. When it's too watery, you can remove the water. Just like this. I can solve for you guys at where they are coming. Wednesday start to grow from that side. To add more color. With another brush. Quite often I work, I always do three or four brushes. So we have, we can add the flower center there. Let's add here a bit more definition here I have quite nice orange color. So with this orange, I will add more here again. So now I will just suggest to add more contrast in some areas of the petals and so that they would look with more volume. Again, you are working with your brushes, rotating them. Let's add the flower center to this one. The same. In some areas will add more contrast. I'm brush, dry brush strokes. We have almost finished. I would make stronger this line. And here also if you want, if you wish, you can add some lines decorating and one to some leaves. That is another way how to use your brushes. Just add some elements to the leaves. And to make them look more interesting. Also, it's really relaxing one UI elements and then you are enjoying the process. Is one weekend, add some more contrast to the batch. In some areas. Just Brush Marks like nothing special. And also a bit more of contrast. Our Roses, loose roses are sure that your ones would be different from my ones. The idea of this project is to play, to play with your brushes, brushstrokes which you can make and generally like keeping the shape more or less, it's going to be loose or PFK-1. Enjoy your painting. Please share your paintings. Say in the class project gallery, I'm super excited disease. And looking forward to see your creations. 12. Watercolor Troubleshooting: Welcome to this problem shooting. I know that some parts which I have showed you that they aren't really beginner friendly. But I would like to encourage you to see that what you can create and show you the whole opportunities which are offer us as is Loose Style and brushstrokes. And that your imagination no, combined with studying of simple shapes of flowers, what you can face, for example, one of the things that your shapes so they won't be so beautiful. It may depend on the paper. For example, this paper is cellulose one, and you can see that they are flatter so they hear you won't be able to create the same beautiful shapes as on their conduct on paper. That's why don't blame everything on your hands and your skills. It also could be partially paper which you are using. Another thing that you don't get the your shape, right. What could be a reason that you have skipped this step? However, it seems obvious and when you are looking at it, you understand everything. But it's really important to do it yourself just to take a pen Scylla, and copy, copy what you're saying that I do because it's really helps for your mind. It's like you're showing the way to go for your minds that you are given the instructions at first we will make this part, then we will add these. Pay attention that there would be the shadows. And that is the way how you started this program know of painting that first you need to load their plan. Nowhere like that. It's like GPS so that you need to indicate that the coordinates where we are aiming know and then start and you go, the process flows. No, that is the same for our mind to that first, it needs to have these coordinates. And does that is a way how we introduce coordinates into our mind. Just by hand, you give, does this, come back, do it, and then again, come back to the watercolor practice and you will see that it will improve, but drastically. I have seen it many times in my present classes. It really works like you are facing also with problem with some Brushstrokes. First grade does this pencil shapes and try to fill them with Brushstrokes, so with a color without outlining. Now with your brush like making this outline, know, just practice this part and make many flowers and cowers and filling them with Brushstrokes and whisker plot. So one more thing, what could you face as a problem is, is that the brush, It's very important which brush you are using, how soft it is and how much water it holds. Because I may show you here just on simple paper. This is a squirrel hair brush and it holds quite a lot of water. And it allows me to make this kind of moment and why these moments I can create the shape of the flower. So let's see this one. This one is also a squirrel hair with some synthetic part and it holds, it has also some fine tip. So you see that moves and I easily can create the shape of flower. And one more, this one is scientific, but you can see that it's really hard thrush. So if I will load it and even more, it's smaller. So it doesn't hold the same amount of water as these ones. And let's see. So I can, but you can see that now it's run out already. And you can see that how are my brushstrokes? So I won't be able to create this kind of flower using this brush. That's why it's really important to as well which brush you are using. It's not always your skills, but also can depend on the materials which you use. One more thing, I would like a dimension and one more thing which I would like to mention, if you're facing difficulties, are trying to find their correct like shapes are, or to build the shape that it would remind the flower. What helps in this case, that just make a collection on pinterest of different flowers which you like. And start to studies they are shapes so that as we did, always rose here, that you start studying the shape of their flower and then to practice so that for your mind also you will know already what could these shapes, what I'm looking for that once I have studied, many times, know that how is this shape I have painted it. Then when I see this spot and I can recognize room that I can build this kind of shape of flower that For my mind, it has already loaded this Studies and that's why it's easier for me to paint. But if you don't have big library of images of flowers and studies of flowers, then for sure you would take it will take time for you to struggle a bit and to create the shape which will remind the flower. But with practice and we study and also with some patients. And the most important, enjoy with joy. You will manage to get the word you are wishing. So thank you. And if you have face there, some other difficulties are on the way. Please share it in the discussion board and I will be able to compliment this class. I was new video cerebral. I didn't hear new solutions to your difficulties. Thank you. And just have FUN. 13. Final Thoughts: Thank you for joining means is class. And I do hope was that you have enjoyed the process. And I may style with a variety of brushstrokes which you can create. You can apply these simple techniques of painting flowers from scribbles, and from sports as a woman app activity before your main painting practice, it is PFK-1 and really useful.
