1. Introduction: Hi guys. I'm sort of not wanting full-time entrepreneur, a big time foodie, a food blogger, food consultant. And I love to brew coffee, travel around the world. And I'm bringing specially crafted courses for you guys on Skillshare. So guys, if you are coffee and love to brew coffee, this course is designed for you guys, where I have got lots of manual grew coffee options for you guys that is brewing with mock-up or cold brew, clever dripper pour-over, French press. And much more guys. Guys come join this course. You will surely enjoyed this and love lots of method. Cheers. 2. Pour Over brewing method: Guys, let's group pour-over coffee today. What's pour-over coffee? When hot water flows through the filter and coffee grounds. And we get coffee in simple words, that's pour-over coffee. Why we prefer pour-over coffee? Pour over coffee is favorite of one of the old coffee lovers. Why? Pour-over coffee help us to control temperature, coffee grounds, and time. And we can get a cup the way we want. Why we prefer pour-over coffee than other coffee methods. If we talk about pour-over coffee, It's much better than other drip coffee method. The reason being the time of gluing, the time of brewing is pretty more. And we can extract nice coffee grounds and coffee oils. So guys, let's talk about it prevents that the need for a fine coffee cup. First we need a V6 teacup. So this top is available in ceramic and plastic format as well. But I personally love plastic. The reason being it's heat-resistant. Then we need a filter paper and some fresh grinded coffee. Whatever, kettle, mug, weighing machine, thermometer, spoon. If we talk about temperature of water, it should be between 90 to 95 degrees Celsius. In case you don't have thermometer, what you guys can do is bring water to the boil and let it rest for around 30 seconds. And you will get the desired water temperature. When this process is called vetting of filter paper. So guys, why we do this? It helps us in two ways. Number one, it gives the same temperature to the cup, and it will help to maintain that temperature. And second, we will get away from the paper taste. Let's move ahead. Let's move ahead, guys. Now let's move ahead. Next step. Let's discard this water. So guys, about coffee grinds size, we have already discussed in the previous chapter which grind size is required for which coffee. So guys, let's talk about coffee to water ratio. So normally the normal ratio for coffee is to water is one is to 16. And in case you need a strong cup of coffee, the coffee ratio could be one is waiting as well. Now let's move ahead. What I'm doing is I'm using around 16 grams of coffee right now. Guys, now, let's talk about our ketal. So normally there are different types of Kettle available. So this is the case where we can heat water directly in case you use a decade and then transfer water into the kettle. So keep the temperature a bit high. While you are transferring the water, the temperature gets changed. So guys, this process is called blooming, where I have used double the amount of water than coffee. And I want 32 mLs of water, again, 16 grams of coffee. So guys, what is blooming? Blooming is bubbling off carbon dioxide from coffee. This will give fun and fresher taste in your cup. In the next step, I will keep adding water to the cup. V6 teacup. Will fill the cup with the water. I will pour the water in the circular motion. So this will help to maintain the water temperature in the cup. Will keep pouring, keep pouring. Tilda copies almost full. I will keep moving this a bit and make sure the coffee doesn't stick to the wall. In case your coffee is stuck to the wall. Users spoon and stir it. Well, let's solve this. All I can see is a clean cup of morning coffee. All I can feel it clear in the coffee flavors. Guys, Let's Bruno. I is poured over the metallic, pretty same. Just we got to blue this on the ropes of ice. Let's do this. Now. Let's add blocks of ice to this. Let's move ahead. The process is pretty thin like we did for hot coffee. Let's add water. So guys, just to add a little more freshness to a glass, what I'm doing is I'm adding some lemon wedges to my glass. Let's pour our coffee. That's excellent flavor for our hot summer. Cheers. 3. Drip coffee or Phin filter: Let's move on on brewing a different method that drip coffee, also known as FIN filter brewing. What is ten filter brewing? So guys, in this coffee matter, what we get is full bodied coffee, which will give a good caffeine kick in the morning. This method is one of the oldest coffee brewing method, mostly common in Asian countries and Vietnam. So guys, what equipment do we require for brewing this? So this is a classic film filter available everywhere you can find on Amazon as well. Classic weighing scale, ketal, some boiling water and fresh blinded coffee. Now, let's move ahead. So guys, this is the grind size that we need for fin filter. Not as fine as espresso, not as tickles, pour-over coffee. What we need to fixturing gram of coffee for one cup of coffee. Next step, we will press this a little bit. Make sure don't press it too tightly. It filters it too tightly. It will be difficult for water to pass on the filter. And if it's too loose, water will pass away quickly and your coffee will not do perfectly. So just very little hints. Now let's move ahead to next step. Now, let's add water to this filter. So why is brewing this coffee is a therapy and it's pretty sexy to watch this. Let's swallow the water slowly. This will take around three to four minutes. All you can do is listen to some music or like me, just watch this coffee brewing. If we talk about this method of growing, this is very much similar to filter coffee that's available in India. This coffee is pretty strong. The reason is we are not using any filter paper so that oils are getting extracted or getting filtered. So why is right grind off coffee is very important in this brewing. The reason being, if coffee is fine grinded, then we will get coffee particles in the drink. Guys, all the goddess, full bodied coffee. Excellent aroma. I'm sure you will enjoy this. If we talk about this coffee. This goes very well with condensed milk. Like in many other Asian countries. You can also use coconut milk as well. 4. French Press: Let's move ahead with a new coffee brewing technique that French press. So guys, what is French press technique? This is very commonly available equipment these days. So coffee is filtered through this matched filter, but this filter is not as fine as paper filter. So again, we get a heavy bodied coffee. So guys, what occupants do we need to brew this coffee? A classic French press weighing scale, and some freshly grind coffee. Let's move ahead with brewing now. Step number one, let's pour hot water to this mug. So this process is very much important and this is missed by many. So the reason why we are adding hot water is number one, the temperature of mug will be maintained. Number two, if there is any smell that will go away. Now I will wait for another one or two minutes and we'll discard this water. So guys, now, let's add coffee to this so that grind size of the coffee should be equal to that of breadcrumbs. That coffee ratio that I'm using is one is to 51 portion of coffee and 50 portion of water. So the first 500 ML of cup. So I'm using around 25 grams of coffee. Let's move to the next step. So we call this blooming. What we're gonna do is you're going to add double the amount of water than coffee. And all we can see bubbles here. So this process is called blooming. Now, let's wait for one minute. So all we can see if good bubbles here. This will help to release the CO2 from the coffee. And what we will get is a sexy cup of coffee. Now, let's fill this mug. Awesome. So guys, now next what we're gonna do is we're going to start this little bit. In case we see any form on the top. We'll discard that. Now. Let's wait for four minutes and our coffee will be done. Guys, in case you need a strong cup, wait for another minute or two. Before we pour. Let's start this again. Now, let's read the coffee gently. This filter. Awesome. So guys, there's one important point. So guys in case you aren't able to press this comfortable. The reason being coffee grinder is too fine. So maybe next cup you can take care of this. Let's pull this guy is the coffee for your morning. That won't **** your morning. Tears. 5. Moka pot: Now, let's begin with a shot of espresso first. At home, what I'm using is a classic mockup world, which is very easily available everywhere nowadays. In case you don't have machine, this works best. Let's start. I'm using boiling water. In this case, you will have normal water. You will get burned taste in your coffee. So we have to fill the, that's the point. What we can see this one. We have to fill water then here. We have to fill water till here. Next, I'm going to add coffee. What I'm using is 70% arabica and 30% faster. You can definitely use coffee, whatever you want. I generally prefer my coffee strong. Let's add coffee first. So here goes around 2222 grams of coffee. And you will get two shots of espresso. Mocha ports are available in different sizes nowadays. You can get whatever you want. Make sure don't pass this too hard, or else it will be difficult for water to pass. What's it going to do next is make sure about one thing. We'll have to keep this on low to medium flame. Let's wait for around two to three minutes. And RF prefer shortest John. Guys in case you don't have mock-up board. What you guys can do is you can use instant coffee. I'm using one teaspoon of coffee, instant coffee, and around 60 ML of water. So this is not boiling hot water, but pretty warm water is just going to mix this well. This is done. And good coffees all about good texture. So what I would say is, this is the first preference to use it anymore in case you don't have this. So this is just the option. 6. Clever Dripper: Guys, now let's move to this modern brewing methods. That's clever dripper, this works is pour-over as well as the less cold room equipment that we need for this method of brewing is some clever dripper, filter paper, coffee, and a kettle. Now, let's move ahead to bring this coffee. So if we talk about this filter paper, this is pretty take them people available for other brewing method. And all we will get this smooth curve. Now, let's adjust the paper. Step number one. What we're gonna do is let's read the filter paper, boiling water. The reason we will get is a hot cup. And another reason is in case there's any lingering taste of paper that will go away. Let's discard the water. Around 16 grams of coffee per cup. Step number two is blooming. We're going to double the amount of water than coffee. And what we can see in bubbles here, and this doubles or four CO2 is getting released from the coffee. Let's wait for a few minutes and make sure the entire coffees with keeps falling in pore water. So guys, it's very important to swollen pour water. The reason being coffee will not stick to the walls and the temperature of water will be stable. Now, we're going to wait for three to four minutes. Then we'll pour the coffee. Meanwhile, just use a spoon and make sure coffee should not stick to the walls. So right after four minutes, we just going to keep this clever dripper to the glass. And all we can see some magic. Well, this is not magic, this is just mechanics. And coffee if done. So guys, this is pretty easy method. And super smooth coffee. Cheers. Again using this clever dripper. Now, let grew cold brew coffee. They could paint that we need a pretty thin, Let's do this. Let's use filter paper the same way. Let's read the filter paper the way we did using the other method. Let's discard the water. So guys, in this method, proportion that we're going to use, this one is to ten, that is one part of coffee and ten parts of water. So right now I'm using is 225 grams of coffee for tomorrow morning. What I need is 250 ML of cold brew. Awesome. I'm going to add 250 mLs of water to this. So guys, if we talk about cold brew brewing, the z also known as slow brewing method. And I will keep this in the refrigerator for around 12 hours and my coffee will be ready tomorrow morning. If we talk about cold brew coffee, this pretty light and easy on us tomorrow morning, what we can see, our cold brew coffee is done. Cold brew coffee is one of the most loved coffee. So guys, you can use this tonic water, ginger ale with coconut water and number of other options. And I have also made a coffee cocktail core course. When number of coffees are available with cold brew, Cheers. 7. Cold brew: Guys, let's move to the new method of brewing that cold room. So called rheumatoid is also known as keeps flowing brewing method. And generally, it's brewing time is around, say, 12 hours to 20 hours, depends on the type of boring you want. So guys, we will be using to paint. One is French press and one is called blue jar. So guys, let's do this. So guys, what I'm using is one part of coffee to ten parts of water. This is a five-minute MLOps jar. So I will be using around 50 grams, of course, grinded coffee. So if we talk about cold room method, it is always less than acidic. It's a slow brewing method and being enjoyed by many these days. So this is 50 grams of coffee to the French press. Now, I will be adding around 500 mLs of water to this. In the next step. Just going to mix this well and keep this overnight and refrigerator. And during morning, we just gone up, lunge this and enjoy your coffee. So next I'm using is called Raw Filter. So guys, the best part about this is this portion, the net. This is very thin. And in this method at the end of the cup, what we'll find it a little bit of coffee granules. And I really don't enjoy this. So this is one filter that you need for your cold brew a cup of coffee. So I'm adding a 100 grams of coffee to this right now. Next time we'll be adding one liter of water to this. So great, I've used a 100 grams of coffee in this predator. So that's one liter of water. Let's close this and refrigerate for couple of hours and our coffee will be done. So guys, in case you don't have French press or this filter, all you can do is add coffee and water and filter using a thin mesh cloth and your coffee will be done. So next morning, All you can do is add coffee with some tonic water. Either you can blend it with ice cream or a near WR. Just enjoy this on the rocks of ice. And it will show the enjoyed this guys Cheers. 8. Thank you: So guys, I'm sure you guys have enjoyed this course very much. And I especially designed many codes for you guys that are based on coffees, that our coffee with my cocktails, coffee with liquor, coffee cocktails, and again, coffee around the world.
