I would like to mention a few tips on how to combat hearing exhaustion. First would be to take a nap. A short nap lost in just 15 to 20 minutes will improve one's alertness and leave one feeling refreshed. Trnd restful longer than half an hour. As a longer neck may prevent one from falling asleep easily at night, leading to additional fatigue than next day. Next would be to take a walk. 6. Lesson #5 Accuracy Examples: Listen number five, accuracy examples. 7. Lesson #6 Common Homophones: Lesson number six. Common homophones. The key with a golden rule when dealing with homophones is to consider the context in which a speaker speaking. Should you discern that the speaker is saying something that you know the spelling or the context doesn't fit. It may be a good time to research a few homophones. 9. Lesson #8 Speaker Labeling: Listen number eight. Speaker labeling. Speaker labeling is very important in transcription as each and every transcriber needs to determine in each and every transcript whether I'm correctly hearing and transcribing what words receded and who sit them. advanced module. First, we are going to
discuss notation tags. In general. There are four
different notation tags that transcribers can use. The event that a
transcriber encounters any unfamiliar or
difficult audio. The first one we're
going to be looking at is the inaudible
notation tag. The inaudible notation tear can be used when there are any unintelligible or in audible
words within an audio file. Should, when we're doing
medical transcription, this would be
equivalent to a blank. The inaudible notation

for any contextual clues within the audio to assist one in doing accurate research. For example, when a speaker
says their company's name, it is good practice to
research the Greek spelling of the name as certain companies
and brand names today, spelled differently
than in the past. For example, please Google
the following brand names. Just see the differences
in their spelling. Quickbooks, Cafe
Presets, Quicksilver, core logic, and maybe fast. Also, if you can discern that the speaker is speaking

you in your search. When searching for

thinking focused on deciding what
to believe or do, or in our context, what to hear. It means asking probing
questions like, how do we know, or is this true in every case, or just in this instance? Or is this weird or phrase that I just heard truly correct? It involves being skeptical and challenging assumptions
rather than simply memorizing facts or blindly accepting what you
heard or read. Who are critical thinkers and what characteristics do
they have in common? Critical thinkers are usually curious and reflective
individuals. They like to explore and probe new areas and seek knowledge, clarification and new solutions. They asked pertinent questions, evaluate statements
and arguments, and the distinguished
between fact and opinion. There are also willing to
examine their own beliefs, possessing a manner of
humility that allows them to admit lack of knowledge or
understanding we needed. There are open to
changing their mind. Perhaps most of all, the activity enjoyed learning
and seeking new knowledge, which is a lifelong pursuit. No matter where you are on the road to being a
critical thinker, you can always more fully develop and finally
tune your skills. Doing so will help you develop
more balanced arguments. Express yourself clearly,
read critically, and glean important
information efficiently. Critical thinking skills
will help you in any proficient or any
circumstance of life, from science to art to
business to teaching. With critical
thinking, you become a clear thinker and
