Welcome to my new class,

Haunted Botanicals: A 7-Day Challenge to Draw Monochromatic Ghosts.

In this class, we’ll be creating seven hauntingly beautiful ghost illustrations, one project each day, using a simple monochrome palette. Each ghost will be paired with a different botanical setting—plants, shrubs, potted greenery, leaves, and flowers—creating calm, slightly spooky, and whimsical illustrations.

This is a 7-day challenge format, which means I’ll be uploading one project every day, allowing you to build a daily drawing habit without feeling overwhelmed. Each lesson is designed to be relaxing, beginner-friendly, and easy to follow along.

We’ll work with minimal supplies—just a fineliner pen, black watercolor or grey tones, and paper. If you prefer not to paint, I’ll also show you how to complete the illustrations using pen-only techniques such as hatching, cross-hatching, stippling, curved lines, and scribbling.

We’ll begin the class with simple fundamentals—how to draw an easy ghost shape, how to sketch basic plants and pots, and how to add texture and depth using ink techniques. From there, we’ll move into the daily projects, gradually combining these elements into complete illustrations. Most of the lessons are recorded in real time, so you can comfortably follow along at your own pace.

1. Welcome and Introduction : Hi, everyone. Welcome to my new class Haunted Botanical A seven day challenge to draw. Seven monochromatic Ghost. In this seven day art challenge, we'll be painting this hauntingly beautiful ghost illustration. Here I'll be uploading one project every day so you can draw, paint, and practice along with me at a calm and enjoyable pace. Each day focuses on new ghost illustration paired with botanical elements like plants, stuffs, leaves, flower, and potted greenery, all created using limited monochrome palette. Apart from this, we also have this bonus project that you can do the coloring on your own. We will start the class with the very basics. I'll be showing you a few examples of different kind of goes, plants and potted plants that we'll be creating. And primarily, we'll be using black ink, grease and simple black watercolor to do the coloring. But if you don't want to use the color, I'll also be showing you some of the basic paint and ink illustration techniques like hatching, cross-hatching, and a few more techniques that you can use to do the coloring to complete all the projects, even if you are not using the water colors. Hi, everyone. I am Michelle an artist from India. This is my skill Set profile on Skillshare I teach simple and approachable classes using ink, watercolor, and oil pastel. These are some of the classes that are related to it. You can find more of my work on my Instagram and YouTube. In this class, we'll be painting the seventh project. First, we have made the ghost gather, then we have Ghost Spirits in the Sub, Wetland Watchers, guardians of the Garden. House plants and hauntings. The socked Ghost, a pot full of ghost. And this bonus project Nest of the Gentle Ghost. Most of the video in this class are in real time, so you can always follow along with me. I hope you will join me for the seven day creative journey. Let's draw to one ghost a day and enjoy the process along the way. 2. Class Project : In this class, we'll be working on seven main projects spread across seven days with one project released each day. Each project features a monochromatic ghost illustration paired with different botanical settings, allowing you to practice composition textures, storytelling, while keeping things simple and wagers friendly. You can follow the project exactly as soon or feel free to personalize them by changing plan C, pots styles, ghost expression or background details. Apart from this, you can also see your practice seeds of different kind of ghost and different potted plants that you have created. We also have this optonal project, which is more open minded and expressive. You can take your time, experiment freely, and create your own variation using any technique from the class. By the end of this challenge, you will have a complete collection of ghost illustration and a strong understanding of monochromatic ink and watercolor techniques. Once you have finished your project, don't forget to upload them to the class project gallery. I'd love to see your work and leave feedback. If you want, you can also see your practice at of tasting different supplies, how you have created ghosts and different kinds of plant. So I can't wait to see your project and yeah, happy painting. 3. Supplies : For this class, you need very basic supplies, pencil and reset to do the basic sketching for our ghost and the plants. Then we need fine liner and the bras paint. Mostly, I'll be using the Sakura micron fine liner and Tombos bras paint to do the outlining Tissu paper, masking tape to secure the paper. In here, I'm using 300 GSM watercolor paper. You can use any paper of more than 200 GSM. It will do the work black watercolors, watercolor brushes. A small and medium recess will do their work. These are addsonal supplies, breast paints, so, gray and black breastpins. Here I have got dual tip breastpins. I'll be using this for one of the project. You don't need these, these are additional supplies. These are the basic supplies that you will need for this class. 4. Testing Supplies : Welcome to tasting supply. In here, I'll be sewing you different supplies that I have and that I'll be using una class. Here we have got five millimeter fine liner. Mostly, I'll be using this and Tombos breast pain to do the outlining. With this, we can create uniform and consistent line and to make it bit darker, you can just overlay more lines on top of it. These are the two tombos breast pain that I'll mostly be using. One is a little bit thicker, other is a little bit thinner. So this one is a thicker one. And in here, we have got this thinner one. So I'll also be using this. With it, I can create a little bit more broader lines. If you don't have this, you can also use the normal ballpoint pen. The intensity of the ink is a little bit less, but you can also use this to do the outlining. Here I have got normal gel pen. If you have this, you can also use it to do the outlining. And here I have got Jkurataki breast pain. So with this, we can create varieties of line, dynamic lines, lines of art thickness. In here for this one, I did not have that much ink, so I refilled it, and as you can clear leasing, you can create thin and thick line just by wearing the prison. If you have this, you can use this in the class project. Next, we have got brushes. So mostly I'll be using this medium size brush. You can also do the outlining using the brush. The Bus, we can create varieties of line. Mostly, I'll be using the brush to do the flat passes. You can also start directly with the brush. So here I created the simple seats for the leaf. Let's create a little bit more defined versons for the leaf. And when the strides up, we'll be doing the outline using the brush. So if you want, you can directly use the brushes to do the clearing. Enough for the consistency of the watercolor, to create transitions and gradient, I'll be using this kind of bit watery consistency of the black mostly. With this, I can easily spread it and decrease its intensity. Here's a bit thicker consistency of the black. For this one, I did not add that much water. We have lots of pigment in here. In here, I'll be showing you how we'll be creating transitions and gradient. So starting with concentrated black and then using water to spread it. So each time I am using water and spreading the color a little bit to get this kind of subtle gradient or you can transition from black to green and then to white of the paper. So I'll only be using the black and I'll be decreasing in intensity to get different sides of the gray. In here, the flat was mated with the gray has dried up somewhat, and I'm using this bit concentrated black to do the outlining and adding red drops in the veins for the leave. So if you want, you can always use the watercolor brushes to do the outlining. With the water conn, the intensity will decrease a little bit when it dries up, you'll have to ensure that you are using bit concentrated black otherwise. Otherwise, it will lose its intensity a little bit. For one of the project, I'll be creating this kind of texture. So I'll be creating gradient using this kind of texture. In here, I used a bit medium concentration of the black, and in here, I added a bit more water and creating this kind of random smaller brass strokes to make it a bit lighter. Now, just using water and spreading this black I'll also be creating multiple stars so simple four pointed star nic, and then we have got normal five pointed star. I'll also be creating this kind of bitary lines to add a little bit more detail for one or two of the project. So the simple lines a little bit broken lines like this. You can vary the saves and sides of the star as you see it. I'll also be using the breast pin and the dual tip bras pin that I have. I have not included it in here. If you are following along with me and if you have other supplies, you can taste those out and create varieties of lines and create different kind of textures so that you can get a feel of what kind of texture you can create for the main projects. 5. Basics: Welcome to the basics. In here, I'll be showing you hatching, cross-hatching, curve lines, shading, stippling, scaling, and few other pain and ink illustration techniques. First, in here, we have got hatching lines. Basically hatching the seeding technique created by drawing parallel lines close to each other. The closer the lines, the darker the area will appear. The farther apart, the lighter it will appear. The line icon can follow the sep of the object to add more form. So I'll also be showing you a example of using curve line to do the hatching. In here, we have got those broken hatching lines. I'll also be using this for one or two of the project. I'll only be using a little bit of hatching and bit of cross-hatching for one or two of the project. But if you want to create all the projects using this pen and ink Illustration without using the watercolor, you can do it. Next, we have got the cross-hatching. Basically, the cross-hatching is created by layering hatching lines in different direction, usually crossing over one another like this. You can also create this kind of broken cross-hatching. In case of cross-hatching, more the layer, the darker the tones will appear. Fewer layer will create lighter areas. You can also play with the angles to create bed complexity. I'll be using cross-hatching to create deep shadows or create strong contrast. It can be used to create dramatic illustrations and background. So in here, let's make it a little bit more darker. This is second layer of hatching lines. Adding another third layer of hatching lines to make it a bit more darker. So you've got the rough idea how you can play with a different kind of lines to create different kind of cross-hatching. Only be using it for one of the illustration, but if you want, you can create all the illustrations using hatching and cross-hatching and other painting illustration techniques that I'll be sewing you. Next, we have got curved lines or you can say Cantu hatching or pent cross-hatching. Curved or contod lines will follow the natural sp or form of an object instead of being straight. Like in here, I'm following the seam. The lines will wrap around the seam. It helps in creating volume and giving a three dimensional form to the object. It is very effective for organic subject like the ghost that we'll be creating. I'll be using the curved lines for the feces of the ghost plants to add a little bit of rounded forms, and it also create and sows flows and movement. You can also do a little bit of cross-hatching using the curved lines. So these are some of the example of curved lines or you can say contour lines. Next, we have siding using hatching and cross-hatching. Siding can be achieved by controlling line density and layering. By line density, I mean number of lines, and by layering, I basically mean cross-hatching. Let's start with a simple one. So we have got the hatching lines. And as I am progressing, I'm increasing the number of line. On the right side, we have got more lines and the lines are much more closer to each other. Here's another layer of line to make it a little bit more darker towards the right. You have got the idea how you can use hatching to create the sading. Here's another example this time, I'll be adding different layers one below other to create a little bit of sading effect. Let's add a few more layers so that how you can create this kind of sading I'm also decreasing the distance between the lines for the lower labels to make it bit more darker. In here, we have got a third example of using cross-hatching. So this is simple cross-hatching. Now adding one more layer to make it a little bit more darker, one more layer to make it more darker. I'm making this region a little bit darker by adding more layers. Now let me show you one more example of using a little bit curved or cantoon lines. You can create fewer lines to create light areas. You can use tighter hatching to create mid tones and cross-hatching or multiple layers for the darker tones. Always gleam highlights a little bit wide, and you can start building slowly, let the lines do their work, not the pasen. And yeah, that's all for the seeding using hatching and cross-hatching. Next we have got stippling. Stippling uses dots instead of line to create value. So let's create the outline for the ghost. For the first in here, I use simple line and for the second line, using the stippling technique, creating multiple smaller dots to create and add value to the I. The denser the dots, the darker the area will appear. The sparser the dot, the lighter the area will appear. I'm using it to create a little bit of texture for the cloth, the folds of the gloth of the bits it ghost. With these, we can create very detailed and very dramatic paintings, but it takes a lot of time. So I won't be using it, but if you want, you can use it for some of the project or some sections of the project. With the stippling, we can create soft texture, subtle seeding and organic and dreamy illustrations to make the regions a bit darker, add more dots to make it bit lighter, increase the spacing in between the dots. And here I'm making the outlines a little bit darker by adding more dots. Now, let me show you another example in here, I'm creating this sphere like C, and I'll be adding more value towards the bottom left section to make it bit darker. So for that section, I'll be adding more dots with less spacing in between the dots. First, let's fill this entire region with dots. Then we'll be concentrating more dots toward the bottom section. This is somewhat of uniform consistency now, adding more dots toward the bottom section to make it a bit more darker. You can see how soft it appears and subtle seeding can be achieved very easily with it. And it gives a little bit of organic feel to this sphere that we are creating. The main disadvantage is that it takes a lot of time. So with these, we are done with a stippling technique. Next we have got scribbling. It's also called scumbling. Let's create the outline for the ghost and using this kind of bit loose and organic lines to add details for the ghost, making this region a little bit darker. Here two specing matters, adding more scribbling lines to make the regions a bit more darker. The main thing with the scribbling or scribbling is it follows no strict to direction. It's create texture, and it creates a little bit of rougher texture. It's great for playful or illustrative styles. Let me show you another example of creating sphere using this scribbling technique. Instead of creating this kind of circular lines, if you want, you can create a little bit of other kind of random lines. I won't be using it for our project, but if you want to use it or include it in some of the project, you can do that. Next we have got skiing. Basically, for the skiing, I create this kind of simple lines, parallel lines to add a little bit of textion little bit of depth for some of the sections. I won't be using it, but here are some of the example of different kind of skilling that you can create. It helps in separating different element and it adds a little bit of more characteristics to the painting. So that's all for this video, and I'll be seeing you in the next video. And here's a few examples of different techniques that I put into use in different illustration. So if you want, instead of using the watercolor to the breast pain, you can use simple technique. You can use simple techniques of paint and in Illustration to create all the painting in the projects. So that's all for this video, and I'll be seeing you in the next video. Oh 6. Simple Sketches: Welcome to the first section of the Tutorial. In here, I'll be showing you seven different kinds of ghosts that you can create, starting with a very simple one. You can use a vertical line to determine the length for your ghost. We'll be creating this kind of very simple verson for the midst Ghost. Apart from this, I'll also be showing you different kinds of eyes and mound that you can create, how you can add more details for the folds of the ghost and much more. For most of our project, I'll be using very simple version of the ghost like the first one. Here's a second one. So this is facing towards the in. So if the ghost is facing towards the right or towards the left, make that region. Make that side a little bit more curved. So in here, since this ghost is facing towards the right, the right side of its face, the right side is a little bit more curved. Eyes for this ghost is also towards the right, a little bit towards the right. Now, next one, this is a little bit whimsical one. For this one, we have got broader head, bit thinner waist, and once again, bit broader bottom section. I won't be using this kind of ghost, but if you want, you can use it. Now for the next more ghost, I'll be creating a bit smaller versions of the ghost like this. And for the ghost in here, I'll be adding hands and a little bit of more expressions. I'll be using the second and the third kind of ghost for some of the project for the project in which we'll have to add multiple ghosts. I'll be using this kind of bit smaller words and some of the ghost. Adding the hands like this where simple versions of the hands. The hands won't beat that much detail. Small projections like this to add the hands. You can make the hands larger, smaller, thinner, broader. So as you see fit, I would recommend you to do some experiment on your own and create different kinds of variation for the ghosts. Let's do the outlining and then I'll be adding more features. Then I'll be adding more features, eyes, mouth, a little bit of clothes, folding. In here, I'm using Sakura micron to do the outlining. Mostly, I'll be using the Tomosbaspin or the sakura micron ji paint to do the outlining. You don't have to stick with the outlines that you have created. Feel free to make changes and adjustment. As you can see in here, I'm making changes and adjustment to the outlines that I have created. I'm not just doing the outlining on top of the pencil sketch as required, I'm making a little bit of changes and a little bit of adjustment. For this last ghost, I decided to make a little bit of changes to the hands of the ghost they ended fingers. You can experiment with different kind of accessories and different kinds of finger and placements of the hands and eyes. So feel free to experiment and see your practice seats in the project section. With these, we are done with the outlining of the ghost. Now let's create different kinds of eyes. So this is the very simple one. You can leave a little bit of white space in the middle or you can completely cover it. So this is the basic eyes for the ghost. Then here we have got larger eyes circling the eyes. Since the ghost is facing towards the right, the eyeball is towards the right. Filling the insides with the black and leaving a little bit of white space for the reflection. Filling the entire section of the second eye with the black. Now, let's move on to the third one, making it a little bit whimsical, adding this kind of I and encircling it. So these are some of the examples for the eyes that you can add for the ghost, filling the insides with the black, moving on to the other eye, doing the same thing, filling the inside with the black. For this fourth one, very simple kind of I. In here, for this one, I decided to create a bit different kind of I. I'll be creating this kind of eye for one of the project. For this one, too, creating a bit different kind of eyes. You've got the rough idea how you can create multiple kinds of eyes just wearing the sizes and adding more designs and patterns to it. Now for the fourth one, I decided to create human like eyes. Simple, human like eyes and eyeballs for the inside. So these are some of the examples for the eyes that you can add for the ghost. Adding a little bit of detailing for the folds of the ghost. Mostly, I'll be using simple and broken hatching lines to do the folds, creating this kind of parallel lines. Treating this kind of bit broken large and small parallel lines to add a little bit of texture and more details for the folds of the cloth. For most of our project, the lower part of the ghost body will be covered by the plants and leaves. But if you want to sew the folds of the cloth of this bedsthost you can create this kind of simple hatching lines. Now for this one, simple plain lines. This is a little bit easier would to show the folds in the cloth. For this one, starting with the simple lines. Instead of doing the hatching, I decided to do a little bit of cross-hatching to add a little bit more detailings to it, add more texture and a little bit more in depth. Cross-hatching just build upon hatching, adding another set of parallel lines on top of the earlier lines to make it a little bit more darker. So this is the ghost with the cross-hatching to sew the folds for the clothe. You can add a little bit more detailing to the eyes to add facial characteristics to the faces of the ghost. And to make it female, you can just add this kind of simple elases. When these we had done the three ghost at the top. Now for this ghost in here, I decided to use lots of hatching lines to add a little bit more texture and a bit more detailing for the ghost. I won't be using this kind of ghost in the project, but if you want, you can use this kind of ghost, too. You can now use water cooled and do this kind of lines, create this kind of parallel hatching lines. This is just a simple example. To make it a little bit more darker, you can use a little bit of seeding, adding more layers of hatching lines as we progress, adding a few lines for the hands of the ghost too. Now for this one, I decided to use a stippling technique to add a little bit of detailing for the folds of the clothe. Mostly I won't be using the stippling technique to add folds or add details of any kind since this process takes a little bit of time. But with this process, you can create very detailed artwork. So if you want, you can use this simple stippling dots to add more details to sew a little bit more shadows and a bit more texture for the folds of the ghosts cloth. You can add teeth or tongue inside the mouth. Adding the lip for this one. And for this one, I decided to create open mouth. You can add teeth or tongue inside the mouth. For this one, I decided to completely fill it with the black. Here a cat like mouth for this one. For this one, let's create simple circular see for the mouth. For this one, we have got wavy mouth. And for this one, let's add tongue inside the mouth. So we simple s for the tongue and filling the rest of the area with a black. I'll only be covering up to here in this first tutorial, and I'll be seeing in the next video with simple leaves. 7. Simple Leaves: Welcome to the second part of the tutorials. In here, I'll be sewing you in two elve 13 different kind of simple leaves that you can create. I'm starting with a simple pencil sketching, then. Then I'll be using the fine liner to do the outlining and add a little bit more detailings here we have got a little bit of curved leaf like this. One is a smaller one and this one is a bit larger one. Let's create a few more examples. Here we have got a set of three leaves. I'll be using this kind of leaf to create small bushes for the shrubs. Then here we have got another kind of leaf bit curved leaf. So more leaf like this. So set of five to seven leaves like this. Here's another variation of this. Instead of creating normal leaves in here, I'm creating a bit curved leaf like this. Let's add a few more leaves and one more example, a little bit similar to the one that wedded, but instead of making it rounder, we are making it a little bit more curved. These are the simple kinds of leaves that I'll be using for most of the project. Here's another example of the leaf that I'll be adding more details later on. So these are some of the examples of the leaf that I'll be using for most of the project. Now using the fine liner to do the outlining as well as at the mid ribs and the veins. Simple mid drops in the veins. These are the mid drops. And these are the veins. For most of the project, I'll definitely adding the mid ribs, but for some of them, I'll be adding the veins. For others, I won't be doing it. It depends upon whether the leaves are larger or smaller or more details is required. So depending upon the project, I'll be making changes in adjustment to the midrib and the veins for the leaf. So these are the curve leave that I'll be using that I'll be using for two of the projects. For the lower regions of the setups, I'll be using this kind of leaf. Doing the outlining for the curve leaves. I decided to add few more leaves in here. Now let's do the outlining for the remaining three or four leaves that we have. You can also experiment with these leaves and create other kinds of leaf and add more variation and more details to the leaves. Doing the outlining for this one, adding the stems coming out from the main branch for the leaf. I'll be using this kind of leaf for one or two of the project. Here, too, as you can see, I did not follow the outlines that I created with the pencil skeet. I made some changes and adjustments as required. And for this one, creating this kind of outline for the leaf. Now, adding a little bit of detailings like this. Instead of this, you can only add a single lime as the mid drop. Now, adding the veins for the remaining leaves. Feel free to experiment and create other kinds of leave, add more variations to it. And I lease the pencil sketch, and this is how it looks. Let's add a little bit more detailing for the leaves. Adding the mid ribs, creating this kind of bitter straight vein. For most of the leaves, we created a little bit of curb veins, but in here I decided to make the veins a little bit straighter. Here using this kind of simple, we see to add the veins for the leave. And for this one, I decided to add a little bit of detailing, adding this kind of concentric circle for the inside. These are the simple leaves that I'll be using for most of the project, and I'll be seeing you in the next part in which I'll be showing you different kinds of pots and different kinds of lover that we'll be using in the project. 8. Potted Plants : Welcome to the third part of the tutorial video. In here, I'll be showing a different kinds of pot, different kind of potted plants, few examples of the flower and few more examples of larger leaves. So this is the simple pot that I'll be using for most of the project. Here's another one. So this is a little bit of square and same. And let's create a few more examples. So using pencil to do the initial sketching. And then we'll be doing the outlining and adding a little bit of patterns and designs for the pots. So feel free to experiment on your own and create different varieties and different seeps and sizes of the pots. For this one, I decided to create a little bit curved pot like this. Now, let's do the outlining. For the upper part of most of the pots, I'll be doing the boundary like this. Now for this one, this is a little bit curved. In here, also, I'm making changes to the pencilsk that I did. So feel free to make changes and adjustments as you see fit. For this fifth one that is not visible. I created this kind of bit more curve for the pot. These are the five pots that I created, simple outlines, so simple guidelines for the pots. Now you can add any kinds of details and designs. For this one, I'm just using simple parallel lines. I'm just making the lines a little bit more broader and bit thicker. For this one, I'm using this kind of lines now, dividing into different section and using once again, this kind of curved line. Adding a little bit more detailings like this. You can create any kind of pattern or designs for the pots, or you can just leave it simple as it is. No details or no designs or patterns for the inside. Adding a little bit more detailings for this one. Now moving on to this one, the third one. So this is a little bit similar to the first one instead of using the horizontal lines in here and using vertical lines, and I have divided it into different sections. And for some of the sections, I'll be using this kind of parallel hatching lines. And for the middle sections, once again, using the simple parallel hatching lines, just changing the direction a little bit. So you've got the simple idea how you can create different kinds of pattern and designs for your pots, or you can just leave it simple as it is simple and plain. In here, I decided to use bit curved lines to add a little bit of detailing for this spot. Adding a little bit of detailing for the lower section. These are just additional details. If you don't want to do this, you can just leave it as it is. You can cover it with the different kinds of leaves or plant. Now, in here, a created four simple pots and lm. So I give you example of different potat plants that ALV using for our main projects. So first one is this simple potrait plant. Starting with the kind of simple and slanted vertical lines and doing the outlining and doing the outlining like this for the plants. You can add as many leaves or lines as you see fit or as you prefer. Now for the next one, starting with this kind of bit slanted lines and adding this kind of simple, bit larger leaves, the kind of leave that I showed you in the last video. So we'll be adding multiple leaf. Instead of creating this kind of leaf, if you want, you can create other kind of leaves too. Now for the third one, I decided to create this kind of simple variations of the leave. Instead of this kind of leaf, if you want, you can create any other kind of or any other variations of the leave so simple plant like this. Now moving on to the fourth one. In here, I decided to create this kind of simple variations of the leaf. If you want, you can also add the veins for it. But in here to show you just a simple example, I'm not adding the veins. And let's add lots of leave to make it a little bit more denser and a little bit more ruble. So adding lots of simple leaves like this for this fourth example of the potrait plant. Now, adding these kind of simple lines for the inside to sow the different stems present in here. So these are some of the example of simple potrait plants that we'll be using for our project. For the pots to in here, you can create any kind of designs or pattern. So feel free to experiment and create different kind of patterns and designs for the pots, or you can just leave it as it is simple potrat plant. Or you can just leave it as it is simple and plain. I'm moving on to the last one. For this one, I decided to create a simple kind of parallel lines like we did for the first one. Instead of filing it with the black, I'm leaving it as it is. So these were some of the example of simple pots and simple potted plants. Now moving on to the flour. Mostly, I'll be using very simple kind of flour for two or three of the project. Here I'm showing you example of the flour that you can use for the project. Mostly, I'll be using food with five petal flower. I won't be using this kind of bitle flour, but if you want, you can use it in the project. You can also create this kind of heart like petals for the flower. So these are a little bit detailed flour. If you want to add a little bit more detailings to it, you can do it or you can make it bit simpler. And instead of adding numerous petals, you can just decrease the number of the petals, decrease its size. Now to create flowers fizzing in a different diction, you can start with creating this kind of oval seep and then add center for the flour. And then following seep of the oval, you can add the petals inside it. So here's the second example. For this one, I decided to add the center in the middle and following the seep of the oval, adding the petals for the remaining section. For this one, I decided to create multiple petals for this flower. So following the oval seep and adding the multiple petals for the inside, These are just a rough example for our main project, we'll be adding a little bit of more detailing and creating a little bit better flowers. Mostly, I'll be creating this kind of simple flowers, multiple simple flowers. I'll be wearing the seeds in the sizes, and I'll also be wearing the number of the petals. For some of the flowers, I'll be creating only four petals and for some of them, I'll be creating five to six petals. So these are some of the example of simple flowers that we'll be using for our project. Now moving on to the larger leaf. So I'll be using two different kind of larger leaf for one of the projects. So these are the example of some of the simple but larger leaves that I'll be using it. So creating this kind of large leaf. Using this kind of bit curvier lines to the outlining for the leaf. And now adding this kind of simple veins for the insides of the leaf. Here's another example of bit larger leaf. For most of the larger leaf, I'll be creating this kind of outline, a little bit curvy and a little bit this kind of wave like little bit curvy in this kind of wave like outline for the larger leaf, adding the metros and simple veins. Now, one more kind of potted plant that I'll be using. I forgot to sew you. So for this one, I'll be creating this kind of simple buses. Let's also create the pot, and then I'll be adding multiple leaves for the inside. So this kind of potted plant is quite easy. Just create this kind of simple lines, and for the bottom section, just make it a little bit curved and a little bit bend. You can also add a little bit more detail in slices. So simple birds of flour on top of the potted plant. These are some of the simple kind of potted plants, pots, and flowers that we'll be using in our project. And I'll be seeing you in the next part of the tutorials. 9. The Shocked Ghost : Welcome to the first project, the Soft Ghost. Let's start with a simple pencil skin. For this one, we'll be creating a large ghost in the middle surrounded by different kinds of leaves and flower. And I'll be using the watercolor black watercolor, you can use watercolor or ink to do the coloring, starting with the simple seep for our ghost. Only the upper part of its body will be visible. If you want to make it a bit larger, bit smaller, you can do that. And on top of it, and beside it and below it, we'll be adding different kinds of leaves, flowers and a lot of more details, creating this kind of simple eyes a bit larger eyes. Simple mouth. Extending the side is a little bit more. So if you want to add hands, you can do that. I'll keeping it simple like this. Let's add the leaves. If you want you can start with a simple pencil sketch and then do the outlining with a fine linen, but in here I decided to directly start with the breast pain. I'll be creating different kinds of leaves that I sold you earlier. Feel free to make changes in adjustment at different kind of leaves, flowers, plants, stems, branch. Or you can just follow along with me and create the kind of leaves and the flowers that I'm creating in here. I'll be creating four or five petals flower. Very simple versions of the flower. I won't be adding stems to it, but if you want, you can do that. You can also add small birds attached to the flowers. In total, I'll be creating four or five different kinds of leave. For some of the section, I'll be creating bit smaller leaves and for others, a bit larger. Mostly for the lower sections, we'll be creating bit larger leaves, and for the upper section, only a few larger others will be a bit smaller ones. As I mentioned, feel free to experiment and create any kind of leaf you want. You can create this kind of very simple versions of the leaf. You can add branches and stems to it. For this section, most of the part of the ghost body, I'll also be adding leaves and flowers. These are the larger kind of leave that I'll be adding. For lower section, I'll be adding a few more. And in here, I'm just showing you the region that I'll be covering with the leaves. Here, let's create this kind of leaf. So leaves on both sides of the stem. If you want to create a bit more detailed leaf, you can do that. Instead of using the breast pin, you can also use the fine liner. If you want to make it a little bit more interesting, you can directly use the watercolor or the ink to do the coloring. And using that, you can create the outlines or with no outlines, only using the coloring that will act as the outlines. I'll be creating lots of leaves and flowers in here. I'll also be wearing the seeps in the sizes of the flower. For some of the flowers, I'll be adding centers like this. But for others, I'll be just keeping it simple with no centers. As for the coloring, I'll only be using the black, and I'll be mixing more water to it to reduce intensity to create a transition. For some section of its body, I'll be using grays and blacks to do the coloring, for others, it will remain completely white, the white of the people. As for the lower section of the plants and the leaves, we'll be completely filling it with the darker shades of the black. And as we move away from the center, we'll be transitioning it to a bit lighter shades of the gray. You can add as many leaves as you want. Just don't oversaturate it. Play with the different saves and the sizes of the leaf. If you want, you can also make some of the leaves overlaid on top of the ghost. In here, I've created only this kind of simpler version of the flour. If you want, you can create more detailed versions of the flower. Creating this kind of five petal leaf. Let's add one more in here. So for the smaller section in between the larger leaves, I'll be adding simple leaves, small flowers, and I'll be just simply filling it in different kind of smaller leaves and flowers. Adding one more large leaf in here. As for the coloring for the leaves, I'll be using seeds of the gray, and I'll also be adding the mid rips and the veins for the insides of the leaf for that I'll be using the gray. In here, I've created the mid for most of the leaf, but I'll be using the watercolor to create the veins. This project is one in 26. This is the first section. In this section, I'll be creating all the leaves and the flower, as well as do a little bit of colouring beside the ghost. So the upper part of the ghost body just beside it, we'll be using blacks in the grade to do the coloring. What I mean to say that I'll only using the black but I'll be adding more, but I'll be adding more water to it to make it a little bit gray in color and we'll be creating a bit of transition. Now for the lower section, we'll be creating bit smaller leaves to fill most of the empty species. If you want to make it a little bit more interesting, you can create a few more larger leaves that will be lying beside the smaller or larger leave. I won't be doing it since the coloring of it will take a little bit more time, so I'll be only creating simple and smaller versions of the leaves in the flower. For the upper part in here, I decided to make it a little bit more denser, adding a few more leaves and flower. This side is a little bit empty, the right side, so adding this kind of bit larger leaves in here. Adding few more. Let's add few flour in here. For this region, too, making, creating a large leaf. A few more flowers here and there. This kind of simple versions of the leaf for this place, adding the minder for this larger leaf. And now creating this kind of simple version of the leaf for some of the empty species. Instead of this, if you want, you can add multiple flowers or other kind of leaf. And yeah, with these, we are almost done with the leaves in the flower. If you want to cover the remaining section, the lower part, you can add you can add smaller versions of the leaf in the flower, but I'll be leaving it as it is. For some of the smaller leaves, I also added the mid drips, as you can see. If you want, you can add the mid rips for all the leaf, or you can just leave it as it is and using the water colour to do the coloring in form of mid rips and the wins later on. Mm. Now, let's do the outlining for the ghosts eye, a bit of broken lines to add a little bit more characteristics to the face of our ghost. Now, small mouth. So creating small seemed like this for the tongue of our ghost. Instead of this tongue, if you want, you can also create smaller teeth, the Iris of our ghost. And now, I'll be just adding a few more here and there wherever I think this piece is empty, flowers and leaf. As you can see, I have decreased the size of the leaves and the plants. Later on, Alvi creating multiple stars around the Ghost. Adding a few more leaves and plants in here to make the regions a bit more denser and a bit more darker. As you can see, I have decreased the sizes of the leaves and the plants. And with these we had with the outlining with the bras pain, lightly erase it. Is the ink that you have used has dried up, otherwise we will get smuging all over the people. Lightly erasing it. And now in here, I'm using the black water colour to do the coloring. The area just beside the ghost will be making it a little bit darker, at a bit darker tone of the black, and then I'll be adding lots of water to it to reduce its intensity and create a transition in between black sunras and then to the white of the people. So this process is going to take a little bit of time. You'll have to bit causes and add this black carefully. Carefully circling these smaller leaves, the oval seeps of the leaf. If by mistake, if you covered some of the leaves, you don't have to worry about it. You can just completely cover it with the black, but try not to make that kind of small mistakes. Carefully doing the coloring surrounding the leaves and the flowers with the black. In here, I'm using a diluted consistency of the black so that later on, just by adding more water to it on the paper or on the brush, I can just spread it easily. If you want, you can also use black ink to make it bit more darker. In here, as you can see, I have decreased the intensity of the black a little bit more, so I added more water to it. I'm using a bit watery consistency of the black so that it will be easier for me to later spread the color. This process is going to take a bit of time since we have to do outlining of lots of leaves and lots of flower and we'll have to be with causes so as not to add this black on top of the leaves in the flower. And as I mentioned, I'll only be doing the coloring for the upper part of the ghost on both the sides and on the top. And in the next part of this video, we'll be doing the coloring for the remaining section, the lower part of the ghost, as well as adding the colors for the leaf and the flowers using gray. And as you can see, I'm just spreading the color, and its intensity has been decreased since I used bit watery consistency of the black, and just by spreading it, its intensity is decreasing a little bit. I'll also be using a little bit of water later on to spread it a little bit more to create a bit more subtle transition or you can say gradient in between grease and the blacks and the white of the paper. Now, in here, I'm using plain water and spreading the color a little bit more to create a subtle gradient or you can see a transition in between black and the gray in between the black and the grays. We'll be doing the same thing on both the sides of this ghost, continuing on with the black. Here, once again, I'm using a bit watery consistency of the black and carefully adding it beside the ghost body and encircling the leaves, the plants, and the flower that we have created. Adding it on the other side too, a little bit of target tone of the black. In here, I decided to use the black first, the darker intensity of the black and then spread it later on using this darker tone of the black on both the sides of the ghost body, and then we'll be spreading it. Here on this side, the left side, we had bit larger leaves, so I decided to add the black in here first. And now in here on this right side, we have got smaller leaves and smaller flowers, so we'll have to bit more cautious. Yeah, this is once again going to take a little bit of time and pisin since we have got lots of smaller leaves in here, so carefully surrounding or inserting all the leaves in the plants with this black. And as you can see here too, I'm spreading the color a little bit. And just by spreading the color, its intensity is decreasing a little bit. On this side, on the left side, we had a little bit of mon black, so I'm using the color from this side on the right side. You don't have to worry. If by mistake you covered sponor leaves or the flowers, you can use white ink or white sakura micron jelly pin to do the coloring or create the outlines of those leaves in the flower later on if you want. Otherwise, you can just follow along with me and make causes while adding the color beside the leaves and the flowers. Now spreading the colors. Carefully adding it near this curved section of the leaves and the flowers. Try to create a subtle transition or gradient. Use a little bit more water if required to make it a bit more lighter, carefully adding it near this curved section of the leaves and the flowers. Now, on the side to spreading the color. To make some of the regions a bit more darker, you can use the black from the sections near the ghost. In here, we have got intensity of the black. I'm using a little bit of black from the regions and adding it less beside the leaves, spreading the color a little bit. For this section two, try to make it a little bit uniform. In here, I'll be trying to create an oval seep of transitioning effect in between grease and the black, spreading the colors a little bit more and creating the transition on this side to follow the curved seem that we created for the upper part and extending it towards the right and the left. In here, the intensity of the black was bit low, so I am adding more blacks in here to make this region a little bit more darker. And since the color has not dried up because we use with watery consistency of the color, the two color will mix on its own, but to make sure its plants will extend the darker seed a little bit towards the upper part. Now carefully surrounding the larger and smaller leaves in here, encircling the smaller leaves in here and creating the subtle transition. Now, I'm using water to spread the colour to reduce its intensity a little bit and create a subtle transition or you can see ingredient. Encircling the smaller leaves in here and creating a subtle transition, using water to spread it more. I'll only be covering up to here in this part of the project, and in the next part, we'll be adding the coloring for the leaves and do the coloring for the remaining section. See you in there. 10. Painting the Leaves: Let's continue where we left off. In here, I'm using a bit more concentrated black to do the coloring for this bottom section. For this region, too, you will have to be extra cautious since we have got more smaller leaves and more smaller flowers. Mostly, I'll be filling this entire region with the black and then we'll be spreading the color a little bit to make it a little bit lighter in different seeds and tones of the gray. In here, we are using a bit of water consistency of the black. It will be a little bit lighter in different sections since we are spreading the black. So for some of those section, we'll be creating transition despite spreading the color to insure that the intensity of the black remains somewhat uniform and consistent for the entire section. Just ensure that the black that we are using is somewhat concentrated. Even if you are adding more water to it, just sure that its intensity remains somewhat of same. Right now in here for the upper part, I am just making it a little bit lighter, but for the lower section will be ensuring that it remains somewhat of uniform and consistent. I have added a bit more water to my breast so that I can create the black a little bit more to create a transition between blacks and the grease and the white of the paper. So kind of settle greenient in between the different sets of the blacks and the green. For this section, I'll be doing multiple layering. This is going to be our first layer to add a little bit of texture and a little bit more detail. When this twice, I'll be adding more darker sides of the grease and a little bit of black to heat a bit of texture, look for the ghost, straightening the color a little bit more on the right side of the ghost body, adding it a little bit in here, just below and beside the ghost eye. Now using more blacks in here and making this region comparatively darker. I'll be coming back in here later on, but for now adding the blacks in here, the smaller regions, the smaller leaves and the flowers that we have, and also spreading it a little bit on the lighter sides of the gray that we just created using water and spreading the color to make it a bit more darker. Since the earlier layer of the color has not dried up, the two colors will blend on its own and create and create a bit more transitioning effect between grays and the black. Making this region a bit more darker, since we bit more watery consistency of the blacks, so this region has become a bit lighter. And we want to show that the middle region in here is more darker, so that's why I'm adding more black to make this region a bit more darker. Later on, we'll be spreading it a little bit. But for now just add the black and make it a bit more darker, adding it just below the leaves. H. Carefully adding it in here, and this modern leave so that the two color will mix on its own. In here, I added a bit of more water to the breast, and I'm splating the colors. I'll be coming back to it later on. Now, let's continue with this side. A bit watery consistency of the color but a bit intense or you can see a bit concentrated black in here. Carefully adding in between the leaves and the flower. Since we created lots of smaller flowers, that's why it's taking a bit more time. Instead of this, if you have created larger leaves, then this process will be a bit more quicker. But we have created varieties of smaller and larger leaves to make it a little bit more interesting. So stay with me and do the coloring, filling the remaining section with the black and creating the beautiful transition and gradient effect. For some of the section in which we created this kind of smaller lines for the stems, if you want, you can cover it completely with the black or you can just leave it as it is, and use a little bit of grease later on for the stems in the branches, the smallest stems in the branches. For the lower section, we'll be making it more darker, not more darker, but the same consistency of the current that we are using for the middle section. If you want, you can add the black for the entire lower section, I'll creating this kind of outline or you can see boundary. I won't be adding it for the entire section. But if you want, you can proceed with that. Now, continuing on in here, creating a little bit of texture in here by adding the brussel strokes like this, not filling the entire region, leaving a little bit of smaller white species in between. If you want, you can completely fill the entire region with the black or you can create a little bit more texture to it by adding the black in this manner, creating this kind of bitter random and larger and smaller br strokes to leave a little bit of white species in between. For the regent, we have got smaller leaves and smaller flowers. Continuing on in here on this side. On both the sides, the right and the left side, I'll be reducing the intensity of the black a little bit. But if you want, you can keep it darker like the rest of the middle section and the lower section. As you can see, the intensity has reduced a little bit when the colors dried up the black water color. So if you want to make it a little bit more darker, you can add more layer of the black on top of it, or you can just leave it as it is. I'll be leaving it as it is since I'm satisfied with it. Since this is what we're aiming for to make it a little bit more darken, you can add a bit more black or add another layer black on top of it. Continuing on in here on the left side. Here, too, we have bought a smaller leaves and the flowers, so carefully adding the colours in between these. The whole video is in real time, so you can always join along with me. So instead of only using blacks in the grease, if you want, you can add green, red, blues and make it a little bit more colorful and vibrant. For this class and all the project, I'll only be creating the monochromatic versons of the ghosts and the plants. We have used the darker tones of the black. Now we'll be spreading it to reduce its intensity a little bit. So using water to spread the color, spreading the color for the entire section on this left side. Carefully adding it in between the leaves. Doing the same thing on the right side, spreading the black to reduce its intensity a little bit. For some of the section where the intensity is a bit higher, you can spread the color a little bit more or you can add more water on top of it. We will wait for it to dry a little bit and then add a little bit more detailing till it dries using black to do the coloring for eyes, the eyes of our ghost. Here, too, we'll be creating a little bit of transition. The lower section of the ghost eyes will be black and upper section will be a bit gray. Using water and spreading the blacks. Try not to add the black for the middle region, carefully spreading the color in here to make the upper part a little bit lighter. Don't overspread the color. Otherwise, the entire section will become grayish or a bit more blackish. We don't want that. So this is how we'll be creating the ice for our ghost. Later on if required, I'll be adding a little bit more black to make it a bit more darker till it tries. Let's do the coloring for the leaves. In here, I'm using this grey, a bit darker tone of the gray, a bit darker sad of the green, and we'll be feeling the insides of the larger leaf like this. If you want to use different seeds of the green to make it a little bit more interesting, you can do that, but that would take a little bit more time, so I decided to only use this single sad of the green to do the coloring for all the leaves and the flower. For the flower, I'll only be creating simple streaks coming out from the center. I won't be filling the entire section of the flowers with this gray. But if you want, you can do that. And as you can see in here, I'm not filling the entire section. I'm leaving a little bit of white piece in between. I'll be adding the coloring in this manner for most of the leaves. For some of the smaller ones, I might feel the insides completely. But for majority of them, I'll be feeling the colors like this, leaving a little bit of white space in between the outline and the insides of the leaf. I'm also creating this kind of simple pattern, simple hatching lines for some of the leaves. This kind of leave the larger ones. I won't be doing it for all the leaves, but for only this one. But if you want, you can add this kind of lines for other leaves too. Put the larger leaf in here, adding it carefully just beside the mid ribs. If you want, you can also cover the mid drips and later on, use the darker shades of the grade to recreate the mid rips and the veins. In here, I did not left any white squeeze in between the mid drops in the coloring. Later on, I'll be using darker seeds of the green to add the veins. Following the seep of the leaf and adding the green for the inside of this large leaf. This process is also going to take a little bit of time since we have got lots of a smaller and larger ones. If you want, you can also use the skitch paints or the breast paints cre colour, if you have, Or you can just follow along with me and take your time to do the coloring for the remaining leaves and the flour. Creating the curb s for the insides of the leaf and now feeling the insides with it. Let's do the coloring for the other side of the leaf. We have got few more larger leaves, then we'll be doing the coloring for the smaller ones and for the flowers. For this kind of bit curved leaf, I'm not adding the colours on top of the mid ribs. Small tiny strokes of the grease for the inside of the smaller leaves. Following the seep of the leaf and adding the colour for the inside. In here, we have got one, two, three, four, five, six, six, larger leaf, and then we'll be doing the coloring for the smaller ones and for the flowers. And we are done with all the larger leaves. Now, let's do the coloring for the flower. Creating very small center for the flower. I won't be adding the center for all of them, but for the larger one and for some of the smaller ones, creating this kind of very tiny see for the center, adding few more centers for the flowers in here. As I was saying, this region has dried up to add a little bit more texture to it, adding another layer of cream on top of this one. So streting the colors like this to add more texture and add more characteristics to the ghost. Add more color wherever you think it's required, make some of the grease a bit more darker, add more center for the flowers for some of the flowers. And you can also add the midribs and the beans for the smaller leaves. The intensity of the black for the eyes has decreased a little bit. So using a bit more black to make it a bit more darker carefully adding it in here, just below its eyes. Going over the mid ribs to make it a bit more darker since we overlaid some of the gray on top of the black. Of the mid rips are not that apparent, so overlaying this black on top of the mid ribs for the leaves. And since the intensity of the gray has decreased a little bit, using it to create the veins coming out from the mid ribs, So for all the larger leaves, I'll be creating this kind of veins. Ensure that the gray that you used earlier has dried up, otherwise, the two colors will mix and create the same kind of subtle effect that we get from wet on wet technique, and we don't want that ensured that it has dried up, or you can wait for it to dry and then do the coloring. In here, in my case, it has dried somewhat, so I'm easily able to create the veins. Creating the veins for the moon leaves too. Now moving on in here for this kind of mid curved knee, creating small veins. Adding the midribs in the veins for this one. More veins in here for this one. Adding another layer of texture in here, this kind of bit random strokes and extending it towards the upper part. Now for the flower petals, creating this kind of small, simple seams, as I was mentioning earlier, I won't be doing it for all the flour, but for most of the larger ones, I'll be doing it and for some of the smaller ones too, if you want, you can do it for all the flowers. And for some of the smaller leaves, I won't be adding any colors to it. I'll be leaving it as it is white, simple and plain white, adding it for the large flowers in here. I decided to add a little bit more detailing for the flowers in here, so adding these kind of very simple lines for the insights of the flower in here and the two smaller ones, as I was mentioning, creating this kind of very simple seeds for the stars. I'll be creating multiple ones. If you don't want, you can just leave it as it is. Besides this, I'll also be creating simple circular seeds. These are additional details. If you don't want, you can just leave it as it is, or if you want, you can create other kind of patterns or designs as you see fit. I'll be wearing the saves in the sizes of this simple star seed that I'm creating. Instead of this four points the star, if you want, you can create the normal five points star. I'll be creating the five points the star, two or three of them for the inside just beside the ghost. But in here for the outside region, I'll be creating this kind of simple version of the 4.8 stars. You can use the breastbin or the fine line to make this process a bit more quicker, and with that, you can also create bit more crisper and more detailed and define stars. Creating these kind of simple circular scenes. This is optional. If you don't want to do this, you can just leave it as it is. Creating a smaller one in here. And adding circular seeds, simple circular oval seem. Continuing on with creating very see soft stars in here. For this side, too, let's create a few more in here. In here on this left side, we don't have that many stars, so adding stars and simple oval saves Let's create a few more two or three in here. To make it a little bit more interesting, you can use a little bit of white and add highlights to the stars. Adding it on one side of the stars. I won't be doing it, but if you want, you can do that. Asterix seep into the star, adding one star in here. Now for the inside, a little bit of small details to add more characteristics to the face of Arma ghost. And as I was mentioning, simple and normal star, five pointed stars, one more in here. Let's add one more in here. And yeah, that's all. If you want to add a little bit more detailing, add more mid ribs and the veins to the leaves and the plant, more detailing for the flowers, you can do that. But I'm done with this project. This was our first project, and I hope you enjoyed this. This was so fun to paint and I'll see you in the next project. Two. 11. Guardians of the Garden : Welcome to the guardians of the Garden project. In here, I'll be creating three ghosts, a large one and two smaller one. Let's start with the base for this project. So this will be our base. Now for the ghost, as for the sides of the ghost, I'll be making them comparatively broader using this horizontal lines to remind the length for our ghost. If you want, you can make it more larger, bit smaller. You can change the placement as you see fit. And this will be our third ghost a total of three ghost. And as I was mentioning, I'll be making the ghost a little bit broader. Let's do this sketching for our ghost. I'll also be adding small hands like this curve set for the head of our ghost. And now let's do the remaining section for this one. If you want to increase or decrease the number of the ghost, you can do that. Besides this ghost, I'll be adding three or four pots, different kinds of pots with different potted plants. Now, let's sketch out the guidelines for simple pots. For the upper part two, I'll be adding a single pot just beside the smaller ghost. Here, if you want to vary the seeds and sides of the pots, you can do that, creating this kind of simple leaves. Splitting this kind of simple potted plant. As to avoid confusion, I'll be calling the larger ghost at the top the first one. Then the second one will be at the right, and this will be the third one. In here, creating this kind of leaf. So these are just simple personal sketches. I'll be making adjustment for the leaves. You can create any kind of leaf that you have practiced or you can create your own kind of leave. In here, I'll be creating this kind of bit larger leaf. One more large pot in here. On both its sides, I'll be adding different kinds of leaves and plant. Sketching out the guideline for our ghost. For this one, too, I'll be adding the smaller hands. I won't be including any flowers, but if you want, you can include the flowers too, creating the platform for the larger ghost. Here we'll be creating a little bit of patterns and design, dividing into different sections. Now, let's create our largest ghost. The first one. So greeting wave like pattern for the bottom section of its clothe, larger hands, and large eyes. This is our simple pencil Skage If you want to make hinges and adjustment, you can do that. In here for this one, I'm using Tombosbaspin to do the outlining. Et's do the outlining for Angost and then we'll be creating various kinds of leaf, adding patterns and designs for the platforms, as well as creating a little bit of background for this project. For some of the sections, I'll be creating a little bit of dynamic line my dynamic lines, I mean, lines of varied thickness. If you have bras pin, you can use that. Mostly for the regions where there is a little bit of curve, I'll be making some of that sections a little bit darker or a bit thicker. Doing the outline for our second go. As for the colors, I'll only be using the blacks and the grease. I'll be reducing the intensity of the black by adding more water to it to get various shades of the gray. You can feed any kind of pattern or designs for your pots, or you can keep it plain and simple. Now, let's create leaves or plant for this one. Three petal leaves like this. Here, if you want to create kind of leaf, you can do that. I'll be adding the veins for the insides later on. Now, in here as I was mentioning, I'll be creating a bit larger leaf, four or five petals leaf like this. If you're not that confident, you can start with a pencil and sketch and then do the outline. But in here, since the leaves are quite easy, so I'll be adding the leaves. So I'll be directly creating the leaves on the paper. Let's create a few more larger leaves on this side. On this side, we'll be covering it mostly with this kind of larger leaf. Now for the platform in here. Just below this midst ghost, I'll be adding the black to cover the remaining section just below its clone, creating this kind of simple version of the leaf in here. Now, let's do the outline for the pots in here, and then we'll be moving on to the third and the final ghost and adding more details for the platforms. So this is a little bit curved version of the pot. For this one, we'll be creating multiple leaves like this. Very simple leaf like this. Mostly covering the entire section of this area with this kind of simple versions of the leaf. Later on, I'll be using grease and black to add a little bit more detailing for the mid drops and the veins. And as for the background, we'll be using a bit of rough texture and add color either a dark seed of the grey or a little bit of black. Now, moving on to this pot. A bit of conical pot like this. Here, I'll be creating two or three different kinds of leaf for this one, starting with a smaller leaf like this, the one that we created, but the side is a bit smaller in here. And for the upper part, we'll be making the leaves a bit larger, a bit curvier leaf that we practice that I showed you in a demonstration video. M for now. Let's create smaller leaves, smaller and simpler leaves like this. Now creating this kind of leaf that I sketched with a pencil. Add multiple leaves. If you want, you can also add smaller flowers in here. Cutting three petals leaves like this in here. Mostly, I'm trying to cover these areas with lots of leave. Creating the final pot in here and the remaining area in between the leaves, I'll be using darker seeds of green or black to do the coloring later on. And for this one, I decided to create this kind of simple leaf adding one more leaf in here. Now for the final ghost, the third one. Adding a little bit of curve line like this. Now, making the hands a little bit more thicker. Once again, dynamic lines, wearing the thickness of the lines a little bit to add more characteristics to their ghost. Now for the platform. You can read any kind of pattern or designs. I'll be keeping things simple and creating simple design. For the second platform in here, only a small section of this will be visible. The remaining section of our first Ghost. And as for the background in here, I decided to create this kind of four corn stars, and I'll be creating so early lines that I showed you on the demonstration video later on using the watercolor. Instead of this, if you want to create other kind of patterns or designs, you can do that. Or if you want to bit plain and simple, you can just leave it as it is. Oh. And with these, we are done with this. Now, let's start a little bit of detailing for our pots. So simple patterns and design for the pots. I'll be creating different kinds of pattern and designing for different pots. If you want, you can create the same kind of pattern and designing for all the three pots in here or you can create your own variations of the designs, or you can just keep it simple, plain and simple with no designs. You can just use the colour to do the coloring the black or the grays. In here, I decided to use scaling to create this kind of simple designs. Put this one simple parallel lines. Oh. A, instead of making this monochromatic, if you want to do the coloring, you can do that. Let's create a few more leaves to fill to cover this section of this platform. Adding small stems in here. Adding few more stems. Now, adding stems in here for the larger and smaller leaves. Adding simple mid ribs like this using bit of broken lines. Let's add the mid ribs for the remaining leaves. I won't be adding in for all the leaves, but for most of them, I'll be adding the mid drips like this, simple mid ribs. Later on, I'll be using the color watercolor to add the veins coming out of it. Now for the remaining section of the upper part of this platform, most of it is covered by the leaf, but the section would be visible, so I create the outline in here. Adding few more leaves in here. And for the simple pattern in the design in here, you can create any kind of pattern on design, since most of the section in here is covered by the leaves. So I'll be creating very simple pattern lines like this. If you want, you can cover the entire section with more leaves and more plants, but I'll be using a bit darker seeds of the green to do the coloring in here. Adding few more leaves for the wacend spaces in here. And for the remaining section, as I mentioned, I'll be using grays and the black to do the coloring, adding few more lines to make it a little bit more denser and a bit more darker. Now let's create the simple yes for our ghost. Simple yes like this. I'm leaving a little bit of white space for the highlights. Simple mouth. You can create any kinds of eyes and mouth as you see fit. Creating small mouth for this one, and for the third and the final one. If you want, you can also add accessories to the ghost. You can add eyeglasses, you can add earrings, you can add more touches. Adding open mouth like this for the third and the final one. We'll be adding a little bit more characteristics to the face of the ghost later on when we'll be using the watercolor, adding few more smaller leaves in between the larger ones. Now, filling the remaining section in here just below its cloth with a black. If you don't want to add the color, you can just leave it as it is. You can use a little bit of lighter seed on the gray to do the coloring later on to create a little bit of transition or a little bit of gradient in here, too, for this ghost, adding the black In here, just filling this section with simple lines like this. I'm not covering the entire section, but most of the section with the simple lines. Now, moving on to the upper part, a little bit of more details for the platform. With this, we're almost done with the outline. Now I'll be adding more finer details. If you want to keep it as it is and don't want to add more details, you can just leave it or you can just follow along with me and add a few more lines to make some of the regions a little bit more darker, add few more smaller leaves to make the potted plant a bit more denser and give it a little bit more volume, a little bit more details for some of the section. And and with these, we are done with the outlining. Let's lightly erase the pencil sketch, Insure that the ink has dried up. Otherwise, you will get s merging all over the paper, lightly erasing it. Don't apply that much breacher. Otherwise, a little bit of ink will get dsmrged and the intensity of ink will decrease, too. And yeah, with this, we are done with this section of the project. I'll be seeing you in the next section where we'll be doing the coloring. See you there happy painting. 12. Leaves and Plants: Welcome to the second part of the guardians of the garden. In here, we'll be doing the coloring. Let's start with a bit lighter heat of the green. I'm using a bit thicker consistency of the color to do the coloring. I'll also be using a little bit of water to spread the color. For some of the regions, I'll be keeping it a bit darker. For others, I'll be making it a bit lighter. I'm using a bit watery consistency. Now, using a little bit of water to spread the color to decrease the intensity of the green a little bit. The green that I am using in here, I just diluted the black to get this consistency of the gray, so adding more water to the black to get the desired consistency of the black or desired seed of the black. This is how we'll be doing the coloring for the ghost, making the hands a little bit more darker by adding a little bit more gray. Making this region a bit more darker. Now we will wait for it to dry a little bit since the whole area is wet, so the darker gray will mix with the lighter seeds of the green and create a subtle gradient. Also the intensity of the grey will decrease a little bit when it dries up. And we are doing the coloring of the second ghost in the same manner. In here, I use the same consistency of the grey to do the flat vase. Now for the third one, a bit thicker consistency of the gray. So for this section, where I added more gray, I'll be making it a little bit darker. And for the remaining section, a little bit of water consistency of the green to cover the entire section. Basically doing a flat vase with it, spreading the color. You don't have to worry about it if you add the color on top of the leaves since we'll be using gray to do the coloring for the leaves too. When this dry we'll be adding a little bit more detailing for the ghost using the gray. Now, let's do the coloring for the platform. Using a thicker consistency of the gray in here. This time, I also added a little bit of white to get this kind of consistency at thicker consistency of the color for the gray. Adding the gray in between the leaves. So for this, I used a bit. For this, I added a little bit of more black to make it a little bit darker color. As you can see, it's comparatively more darker. For this section system, we have to do the coloring in layer. This is going to be our first layer. Adding it carefully. I'm not covering the entire sytem. The curved lines that I created earlier, I won't be adding the colors for them, adding it in between the leaves. Basically in here, I'm adding the colours for the background, and then later on we'll be adding the colors for the leaves using a bit lighter or watery consistency of the gray. And depending upon the coloring of the leaves, if required, we'll be adding more layers for the background to make it a bit more darker. For now, just add it carefully in between the leaves, the background. Here to adding a little bit of gray. I'm also leaving a little bit of white piece in between the upper and the lower part for this section two simple design like this a little bit of gray in here, carefully adding it in between the two lines. The hands, the intensity of the gray has decreased a little bit, so I decided to make the hands a little bit darker and some of those sections a bit darker, too. So adding the gray in those regions where I want to make it a little bit darker, adding a little bit more innate to so the sados cast it by the leaf. So a little bit of grey. Now going with the water to expand the color. Spreading the color using the water. Since the earlier layer was not properly dried up, so the two colours will mix on its own. Use a little bit of more water to avoid hard edges of the color. Adding it carefully in here. For this ghost too, adding it just beside its mouth, a little bit for the background too. Now let's do the coloring for our pots. Same consistency of the green that we used for the ghost. And in here, too, just for its base, a little bit of grey. On top of this, I'll also be using a bit darker consistency of the green later on. Doing a little bit of coloring for the pot in here. In here, too, you can do the coloring in any manner as you see fit. So for some of the sections, I'm adding the grease. For the others, I'm just leaving it as it is simple and plain white. For this section two, I'll be adding it for the alternate lines that I have created. This is our first layer of the green. If required, we'll be adding more layers of the green on top of it. And as I was mentioning, making it a little bit more darker, just below the pots, thicker consistency of this gray. The two colors will mix on its own because the earlier layer has not dried up, but to make this process a bit more smoother, I'm using a little bit of water. Now, the color in here has dried up somewhat. Treading the color a little bit more to get smooth and uniform consistency for the ghost. For the leaves in here, I'll be creating this kind of simple veins using this gray. Instead of it, if you want to color the leaves first with a lighter consistency of the gray and then use black orbit, darker sides of the grey to create the veins, you can do that, too. I'll be using that technique for some of the leaves on the other side. But in here, I'm just creating simple veins, a large number of veins coming out from the bed rib. As I was mentioning, if required, we'll be making this background a little bit darker. So using this thicker consistency of darker gray, creating this kind of random dress strokes to give it a little bit of texture. So making this background a little bit textured. We'll be adding the coloring in this manner for the background for some of the sections of the background, the kind of rougher texture that I showed you in the demonstration video. So for the insides of the patterns and designs that I showed you, creating this kind of rough texture, adding it in here for this one, too. Making the outlines of this part a little bit darker. A little bit of more detailing in form of this kind of simple hatching lines for this part, too? A little bit more detailing with agree for this part. Now, let's do the coloring for some of the leaves. A bit thicker consistency of the gray and completely filling it. I'll be adding the coloring for some of the leaves and then using a bit more thicker consistency of the grey or the black to add midraps and the ans later on or add a little bit of more detailings. Since the leaves are quite smaller, I won't be able to add that much details, but yeah, if you want to make it a bit more detail, you can do that. You can use two or three shades of the gray to do the coloring. You can also saw the side of cast it with the other leaves. Put this kind of larger leaf in here, I'll simply be creating numerous veins like this. I won't be doing the coloring for the leaf, simple and plain veins like this for the entire section. Instead of using the gray if you want, you can also use the black to create the veins. In here, I also did a little bit of flat for all the leaves. Now for the remaining leaves in here, I did not add the veins, so using gray to create the veins for the remaining two leave in here, Small simple clean lines to add multiple means. Now, as I was mentioning, adding a little bit more detailing for our ghost, creating this kind of bit broken line. This is optional. If you don't want to do this, you can keep it as it is. A little bit more detailing for the fees of our ghost. For the folds of the ghost cloud, a little bit of simple broken hatching lines, but larger simple hatching lines. This is optional. If you don't want to do this, you can keep it as it is. A little bit of coloring for the stars that we created, not covering the entire section, leaving a little bit of white for the highlight. If you want you can also increase the number of the stars, you can also use black to create the black stars that we created in the last project, doing the same thing for this ghost, a little bit more detailing for the fees. Adding a little bit of broken lines like this for the folds of the cloth. For this one too, a few lines just below its eyes, a bit of curve lines for its mouth, making the hands a little bit more darker, creating these kind of bit broken lines too so the folds of the cloth And as I was mentioning for the leaf in here, using this consistency of the grade to do the coloring. If you want, you can leave it as it is simple and plain white or you can use a bit more thicker consistency or darker consistency of the black to do the coloring for the leaf. Now for the leaves in here, adding multiple simple pin veins like this. For all the leaves in here, I'll be adding the veins like this. Later on, I'll be making the background a little bit more darker to create a little bit more distinction in between the background and the leaves. Right now, the background and the leaves are of quite similar color. So later on, I'll be adding a bit thicker consistency or darker consistency of the Greek or the black to make the background a little bit more distinct and a bit more different from the leaves and the potted plants. If you have breast pain, you can use that to create the lines for the veins. That will make the process a bit more quicker and faster. For these smaller leaves, I'm not creating the veins, but for the middle section, just adding a little bit of green just beside the mid ribs that we created. Adding a little bit more detailing for the pot. Now, as I was mentioning, creating this kind of swirling lines that I showed you in the demonstration video. This is ocnal if you don't want to do this, you can just leave it as it is. Adding this kind of bit curvy lines on this side too. Extending the line on this side. If you want to add more lines, you can do that. Making these regions a little bit more darker just beside the mid drips. Now, using a bit thicker consistency of the grade to add the midrib for this larger flour in here for the upper part. Simple triangular seep like this. A little bit of more detailing for the pot and here. Simple and plain lines like this. If you are satisfied with your project, you don't have to do this or if you have created other kind of coloring for the pots, that's fine, too. Oh adding a little bit more details for the upper section of the eyes for the ghost, creating the eyebrows, creating the eyebrow like this for the second one. This is optional. If you don't want, you can just leave it as it is a little bit of coloring for this circular leaf just beside the mid ribs. Me detailing for the platform in here. For the upper part of the platform, too, I'll be adding a little bit more detailings like this, simple lines like this. If you want to create smaller pattern or design, you can do that. That will make the platform a little bit more interesting. Adding few more wins for some of the leaves that I forgot to add the leave. That's subduing the intensity of the gray a little bit, the hard edges that we created earlier, I was not satisfied with it. For those two ghost, too, I decided to add the highlights. Earlier, I was not going to do that. But then I decided, why not. Let's add a little bit of highlights. So here I am using jelly pen. And I find it a little bit difficult to add the highlights using the jelly pens. So if you have white ink or white gauze, that will make the process a bit more easier and you'll get a bit more intense white highlights for the eyes of the ghost. Adding more layers of the white to make the yes a little bit more highlighted. The more layer I'm adding the muddier, the white is getting, so I decided to use the white color. So in here, I'm using a bit concentrated white water color, and overlaying on top of the earlier highlights and making it a little bit more bolder and bit more brighter. And with these, we are done with the guardians of the garden. I was not able to require a small section, but in here, as you can see, I added a little bit of more darker side of the black for the background for the platform. And this is how our project turned out. And with this, we are done with this guardians of the garden. I'll be seeing in the next project. 13. House Plants and Hauntings : Welcome to House plants and hauntings. Let's start with the sketch. For this one, we'll be creating a total of two ghosts. This will be the bigger ghost, and we'll also be creating a smaller ghost just beside it on the left side. We'll be creating multiple pots surrounding the two ghosts. And for the background, we'll be creating multiple large leans. The same kind of leaves that I saw during the demonstration video. We'll also be adding few flowers. Now creating a rough outlining for the leaves for the background. I'll be creating this kind of simple leaves for the background, four or five leaves in total. If you want, you can vary the saves in side as well as the placement of the leaf, and you can also increase or decrease the number of the ghost. You can make them a bit larger or a bit smaller, creating a smaller leaf in here. Let's add a few more leaves on the right side. As for the pots, I'll be creating five or six pots in total. And for the bees in here, I'll be creating this kind of water puddle. So this is going to be our main subject for this project. I'll be creating this kind of simple five petals flavon. Apart from the potted plants, I'll also be adding a few plants at the base. Creating a few smaller leaves in here. Feel free to make changes and adjustment to the pencil skis that we are creating in here. And as for the coloring for the ghost, we'll be doing the coloring in the same manner that we did for the first one. We'll be creating a transition and a gradient from black to gray, and then the white of the paper. Let's create a few examples of the potted plant. Mostly, I'll be creating this kind of potted plant with three or four of the pots. Apart from this, I'll also be creating a bit larger plants too. So larger plant likenes with four or five means. If you want, you can also add flowers in here, too. Let's create a few more plants. Most of the region in here just beside the ghost and the bottom section of the ghost will be covered with darker side of the black or the green, creating larger plants in here. If you're confident, you don't have to start with the pencil and skits you can just directly use the ballpoint paint or the fine in paint to do the outlining for the leaves and the parted plants. Mm hmm. Creating a larger plant in here. So this will be the main stem of the plant. Creating this kind of wavy leaves for this plant. A bit of curb wavy leaves like this, a total of four or five leaves in here. If you want to increase the number of the leaf, you can do that. You'll just have to decrease the size of the leaf a little bit. You can create other kinds of leaves that we have practice. Adding few more plants in here in front of the smaller ghost. Let's add few more flowers and plants in front of the mean ghost in front of the larger ghost. Adding a few more flowers in the front. Adding few more leaves in here. Now, these are additional details. If you're satisfied with your pencil skit, you don't have to add more plants or flowers, or you can just follow along with me and create more plants and flower alongside the ghost and in front of the ghosts. I'll also be making changes to the pencil ski that I did when I'll be using the fine liner or the breast bean to do the outlining, adding one more smaller pot in the front, the same kind of leaf that we used. The same kind of leave that we created for other two potted plant. Creating very small hand for this smaller ghost, bit larger eyes for our ghost. Let's get larger eye for this one, too. This done oversaturated. Otherwise, it will become a little bit harder to do the coloring for the background, the background of the ghost glow. So this will be our simple pencil sketch for our project. Now, let's do the outlining in here. I'm using Tombospaspin to do the outlining. As I mentioned, I'll be making some changes in adjustment, so you don't have to stick with the pencil outlines you have created, feel free to make changes. Et's do the outlining of the ghost. Here, too, if you want, you can use a bit of dynamic lines by wearing the thickness of the lines a little bit. Doing the outlining for this smaller leaf in here. This is going to take a little bit of time since we have got lots of leaves and flowers and potted plants. For the mid drops, I'll be creating this kind of bit broken lines to add a little bit of characteristics to add a little bit of more characteristics to the leaves that we have created. Doing the outlining for the eyes of the ghost to get drop like see for the eyes, outlining the flowers. Not all the flowers are connected to the stem. Some of the flowers are just present like this. Adding one more additional flower in here, a bit smaller in size. Now, let's do the outline for the plants that we have created. For some of the plants and the leaves, I'll be adding the mid drops and the veins for others, I'll be doing it later on when I'll be using the colors. So I'll be using different seeds of green to create the mid drops and the veins as well as we'll also be doing the flat was for the leaves, some of the leaves. Outlining the flower in here, making it a bit smaller as compared to what we sketched earlier. Now, for the potted plant in here, this kind of bit curvy and bit wavy sees for the leave So for weeks like this, I'll be using two different sets of the green. I'll be starting with the lighter side of the grey to feel line side first, and then use a bit darker side of the grey and add it primarily closer to the mid ribs, or I'll be using it to create the mid ribs. Doing the outlining for the pots. For all the pots in this project, I'll be keeping them quite similar. So I'll be creating the same kind of patterns and designs. Instead of creating same kind of designs, if you want, you can add varieties to it, you can create other kind of pattern and designs to it. Creating bit more larger and bit more curvier plants. Creating bit more curvier and bit larger leaves for this plant. We have got another larger leaf that is lying behind this plant. Now, adding few more leaves for this. The region in here just below the leaves and the flowers will be a bit darker. I'll be using darker seeds of the grease and the black to do the coloring. Here I decided to make a little bit of changes to the leaves that I created. So I'm not following the pencil iskis that I did. Instead of it, I'm creating this kind of leaves. Doing the outlining for the flowers. Now, outlining the small hands that we have created. We have got few plants in here. Smaller leaves like this. Now, let's do the outlining for the remaining ptrait plants in the front. Instead of this, if you want to create other variations of the plants, you can do that. Instead of creating the same kinds of plant in the front, if you want, you can create other varieties of the plants, you can create the smaller versions of the plants in the leaf that we have practiced. You can also decrease the number of the pots in here. You can vary the seeds in the sizes of the pots to make it a little bit more interesting, or you can cover the front with different kind of smaller buses in the shrubs. Now, let's do the outlining for the smaller pot in the front, the same kind of leaf that we have created for the other two pots. Creating a few more plants and leaves in here for the front. With this, we are almost done with the front side and the right side now moving on to the left side, going over the outline of another pot, and yeah, outlining the plant that we have created. Simple curvy leaves like this. A total of five or six leaves for this plant. With these, we are basically the potted plants and the leaves and flowers for this one. Let's do the outlining for the water petal that we have created in the front. If you want to make it a little bit more wavy, a little bit more curvy, you can do that. Or you can just skip it clean and simple with simple asteroid lines, adding the pot for this plant, too. Now, these are a little bit of finer adjustment for some of the sections. Adding the mid for the larger leaf in here, making it a little bit more thicker with another line. Doing the same thing for the other two or three leaves that we have in here, making the mid ribs a little bit more defined. So for all the larger leaves, I decided to do it. If you want to add more details for the other leaves too, you can do it. Adding a little bit more detailing for the ghost eyes. Creating this kind of bit smaller hatching lines. Adding the centers for the flower, small circular s. Adding the mid ribs for some of the plants in here, the long and curvy plants. That's all we'll be covering for this part of the project, and I'll be seeing you in the next part of this project where we'll be doing the coloring. 14. Coloring the Pots: Welcome to the second part of House plants and hauntings. Continuing on where we left off. We did the outlining in the last video. In here, we'll be doing the coloring. I'm using a bit concentrated gray to do the coloring for the larger leaves in here. I mixed a little bit of white with the black to get this bit concentrated sad of the gray. Now, just spreading the color. I'm not overlaying this color on top of the mid drops that we have created, and I'm also following the seep of the leaves that I created, leaving a little bit of white piece in between the outlines and the coloring for the leaf. If you want, you can cover the entire and inside with it. Later on, I'll be adding the veins coming out of it, but for now, I'll just do the coloring for all the leaves, the larger leaves. I'll be adding the coloring in this manner for the remaining three larger leaves in here. Try not to add it over the mid rip since we are using mid concentrated consistency of the gray. It will make the mid rips that we created a little bit less visible. Adding it on the other side. Try to follow the seep of the leaf that we created and add the color in that manner. Put the last larger leaf in here, adding it carefully. Following the seep of the leaf. We also have got two more leaves in here. I'll be adding the coloring in the same manner for this one for these two. And for the smaller leaves in here, completely filling the insides with the gray. Later on, I'll be using a bit more darker side of the grade to add a little bit more detailings for the insides of the leaf. Moving back to the larger leaf and yeah, let's continue with doing the coloring for the leaves in here too, adding the colouring same manner, adding the grade just beside the midrbs. Moving back to the two medium sized leave in here. For most of the leads in here, I'm using the same consistency of the gray. Later on, for some of them, I'll be going a bit more darker seat of the green to add over the medrox and make it a little bit more detailed. Instead of using the sad of the grey, if you want, you can vary that you can use the different seeds of the green to do the coloring for the leave. Adding the coloring for the larger leaves that we have in here. Here, too, I'm not covering the entire section on me, adding it for one side of the leave. Instead of using the same consistency of the color for all the leaves, you can use different colours for the different kinds of leaves. So in that manner, you can add a little bit of more variety to this painting. Now next to the coloring for the water petal that we have created, following the seep of it. Here, as you can see, the consistency of the gray is a little bit more thicker. I added a little bit more white to it, and I reduce the water a little bit. So we have got this thicker consistency of the gray I'm not going to cover the entire section with it, as you can see, I'm leaving a little bit of white species in midwen. On top of it, later on, we'll be adding a little bit of black to add a little bit more interest to this water petal that we have created. Carefully add the grease in between the different pots. Now moving on to the right side, doing the same scene, adding it just beside the point and leaving a little bit of empty space in between the different brass strokes that we are using to create this coloring. Now, let's do the coloring for the background. My background, in this case, I mean the coloring for the ghost starting with the lighter seed of the green. We'll be making this region a bit darker, but for now, starting with this lighter seed of the green as the primary layering. In here, I'm using artery consistency and the lighter state of the grain, carefully adding it in between the leave. I have not added any coloring for the flowers. We'll be keeping it simple and plain. Now using water just extend the gray to do the flat was for the entire section of this ghost. I added a little bit of more water, so using tissue paper to soak that up. Let's do the same kind of coloring in here, starting with the lower section of the second ghost body, I'll be making it a little bit darker on one side, particularly on the left side. Using water to spread this color. I won't be spreading the color that much on the left side since I want to keep that region a little bit darker. And yeah, with these, we are done with the coloring for the second ghost. And as I some mentoning, I'll be making this region a bit darker. So using the black Since earlier, we used a consistency of the color. The color has not dried up. This black well smoothie mixed with the earlier layer of the lighter gray that we use. So just add it in this manner, I'm leaving a little bit of white species in between. The two colors will mix on its own, creating a subtle gradient, doing the same thing in here for the smaller ghost. But in here, I only added a little bit of green since the side of the ghost is comparatively smaller. Adding this darker set of the color in between the leave. Now, in here, I made it a little bit more diluted by adding more water. Now I'll be extending the colours upward and thus reducing its intensity and creating a bit of subtle gradient, or you can see transition in between the seeds of the black and gray. Adding it carefully in between the leaves and the potted plant. Adding more water to the brush and extending the colors a little bit more. If you want, you can also create a bit of rougher texture that I showed you in the demonstration video that we used in the first project for that you'll have to create smaller brush strokes with the brush and just reduce the intensity as we progress. You can see that we have created some what of gradient between the different sets of the blacks and the greens, the lower six inch quite darker. And as we progress, we have decreased in intensity and made it a bit lighter. Extending the colors a little bit more using the water make the prondson a little bit more smooth. Here to extending the darker side of the black that we used earlier with the water, extending towards the hands of the ghost. Et's do the coloring for the pot. I'll be keeping things simple and creating this kind of simple two parallel lines for the designing of the pots. Instead of this, if you want, you can create any kind of varieties, designs or pattern for the different pots. You can create kind of designing or pattern for all the pots or if you want, you can create varieties of patterns and design for each individual pot. Now the layer of the color has tried for the larger leave using this thicker consistency of the color to create the veins like this. Instead of creating this kind of bed broken vein, if you want, you can create simple and uniform or straight veins. Or you can just follow along with me and create this kind of bit broken a little bit curvy veins for all the larger leave Is that the color has tied up, otherwise, the two color will mix later on on its own because of the weight in weight technique. And with these, we are done with the third one. Adding it carefully in here for this fourth one. A small section of it is covered by the leaf in the front. Now moving on to this one, doing the same thing, using this kind of bit broken yet curved line to greet the multiple veins for this larger leaf. Apart from this, I'll also be adding a little bit more detailings for the potted plants using a bit thicker consistency of the gray or the black, and I'll also be adding more wings for some of the smaller leaves and some of the smaller plants. We also have to do the coloring for the eyes. I'll be leaving a little bit of white squeeze in the middle for the eyes to set the highlights or add a little bit of more characteristics to the eyes. Carefully doing the coloring for the eyes of our ghost, completely filling my inside in here, and later on, I'll be adding a little bit of white on top of it. Instead of it, if you are using brass pin, you can create the circular see for the highlight right now. Or if you are using watercolor brushes, just fill the entire section with the black and later on when this black dries up, we'll be adding more detail for the eyes. Some of the mid ribs that we created has lost its intensity a little bit. So going over those and also creating the veins for the leaves, simple veins like this in here, I'm not using any kind of broken lines, plain and simple mid curved veins for the leaves in here. Adding the veins on the other side. In here for this leave, instead of creating the veins like this, I decided to make the mid drops a little bit more distinct. Adding a little bit of the color in this manne to add a little bit more distinction for this kind of leaves, doing the same thing in here. So just overlaying a little bit of those darker side of the green on top of the midrib to create a bit distinct kind of leaves. Moving on to the two larger leaves in here, using the same kind of bit broken and curved line to create the veins for the leaves. Continue on with adding more veins for the two leaves in here. And with these, we are done with the larger leaves. For the smaller leaves in here, this time I'm using a bit more thicker consistency of the black to add the in, and I'm adding lots of veins for this one. The veins are not that cut, but these are a little bit street and uniform. Instead of this kind of vein, if you want, you can create other varieties of the in or you can make the mid rips a little bit more darker as we did for some of the plants. Continuing on with the smaller plants in here, this besides smaller ghost. Creating multiple smaller veins for the plants leave. For this kind of bit curved plants that we have, adding a little bit of black for the insides, a very thin streak of the black for the insides. As I was mentioning, adding a little bit of black in here, particularly adding it on one side, on the left side. In this case. If you want, you can create multiple streaks of the black and divide it into different section. But here, I'll only adding a little bit of black like this. Making this region a little bit more darker covering some of the white spots that we left earlier as well as redefining the outlines for the leaf. Adding it carefully in between the potted plants. These, we are almost done with it. Add more additional details wherever you think it's required. Using white to add the highlights for the eyes. Earlier, I use Sakura Gelmin to create the highlights for the eyes, but I was not able to create bit brighter or more distinct highlights. So that's why in here, I'm using this white to create the highlights for the eyes of our ghost. Adding a little bit more white for some of the flowers that were covered by the green. Now for the insides of the pot, here, I'm using br to add a little bit of coloring beside the plants. Redoing the outlining for some of the section to add a little bit more detailing like this for some of the section. I here, I'm creating bit of dynamic lines by wearing the thickness of the lines like this. If you want to add a little bit more detailing or make some of the section bit darker, you can do that. And with these, we are done with this project. I hope you enjoyed this, and I'll be seeing you in the next project. 15. Where the Ghosts Gather : So. Welcome to where the Ghost Gather. So this is one of my favorite from this class. For this one, we'll be creating lots and lots of ghosts and lots and lots of flowers and leaves. Mainly, we'll be using only two different kinds of leaves and simple four or five petals flour. In here, I have already started with the simple sketches for the ghost. I'll be creating this kind of very simple and little bit thinner versions of the ghost. I won't be adding any detailings in the form of hands or rest of its body. Simple seed like this. If you want, you can increase or decrease the numbers of the ghost, you can change the replacement stew. Okay. Let's add a few more in empty spaces in between. As you can see, I've also varied the seeds a little bit. Some are quite large, others are quite smaller, and we have more than 20 ghosts in here. Now, let's create the leaves. I'll be creating this kind of leaf and a little bit and a little bit of curved leave and I'll be covering the entire background with. Since the leaves are quite simple, I won't be doing the pencil sketches for that. You can just directly start creating this simple sons of the lamb and completely fill the entire section with it. Let's create flour first and then we'll be completely covering the entire section with different kinds of plants. Simple four or five petals flower. I'll mostly be adding the plants just below the ghosts body. I won't be covering it for their faces, but if you want, you can also cover some section of the face of the ghosts. You can add as many flowers as you want. Just don't oversaturate it. Oh for the entire project, I'll only be creating this kind of simple version of four or five petal flour instead of it. If you want to add more varieties to it, you can do that, too. We'll be using darker shades of the green and black to do the coloring for the background. By background, I mean the coloring in between the different leaves. And apart from that, we'll also be doing a little bit of flatwa for the ghost body. That's all. We won't be doing any coloring for the plants or leaves or the flowers. Continuing on with creating more smaller flowers throughout the remaining section. Let's add a few more on this side. You can see that the flowers are somewhat evenly distributed. If you want to concentrate more flowers on some of the regions, you can do that. If for some region, there is a lot of empty spaces in between the ghosts, you can add multiple flowers in there, or you can add a little bit of more flower alongside the ghost body. And with these we turn with the flowers. Now, let's create the leaves. As I mentioned, I'll only be creating these two simple kinds of leave. If you want to add more varieties to it, you can do that. But I'll only sticking with these two simple kinds of the leave. You don't have to follow any order you can start from anywhere. Since we won't be creating the entire section of the lam, most of it will be covered by the other rows and the columns of the leave, so you don't have to worry about it. Just create very simple pre leaves like this. Doing the outlining for the goes and let's create leaves for the remaining section. This process is going to take a little bit of time since we have got a large area and we'll have to create multiple leaves, not multiple, but a lot of leaf in between the ghosts. If you want to make this process a little bit faster, you can increase the size of the leaf a little bit, or you could add more varieties of the leaf bit larger varieties of the leaf. In that way, you can increase in that way, you can save a little bit of time. Adding the leaves in between the flower in here in between the two ghosts. B. As you can see, I'm not paying that much attention toward the bottom part of the mead, since we'll be covering it with the other state of the leaves or we'll be completely filling the background with the blacks and the green, so it won't matter that much. And we also doing the coloring, so most of it will be covered and it won't be standing out like a sore thumb. So So just be patient and create multiple leaves throughout the entire section. And if you are not satisfied with it, you can create the simple triangular seep or the heart seep of leaves and feel it in between the smaller sections in between the larger leaves. Leaves like this, simple versions of the leaf. I won't be using this kind of leave a lot, but if you want, you can fill most of the empty specs in between the larger leaves with the smaller versions of the leaf. Mostly, I'll only be sticking with the two simple versions of the leave, this curved one, and this leaf with a mid rib in the middle. If you want to convert this project into colorful illustration, you can do that. It will look more beautiful with that. You can use different sides of the green to add the coloring for the leap. You can also saw a little bit of cats in the highlight. In that way, you can add a little bit more corrected to the plants. Apart from that, you can also color the ghost. Apart from that, you can also do the coloring for the ghost. Instead of the simple white ghost, you can turn them into black ghost. That will be interesting too. Feel free to experiment on your own. And if you made more changes to the project, please here your project. With this, we are almost in the top left corner. Let's continue with the remaining section. In here, I decided to feel this in the middle portion. So adding the plants and the leave on all the sides of the ghosts body. Simple leaves like this. I'm wearing the seeps and the size of the leaves too. The ison' not that larger, but I'm wearing the seeps in size a little bit. And now, feeling the remaining section in between the upper and the lower part for this coast. Adding a small leave in between these two. Now for the smaller regions, small leaves like this. We also create small stems in between. I decided to create this kind of leaf first and then we'll be creating another variations of the leaf. Now, creating the other variations of the leaf to fill the upper part. If you're keeping track of your time, let me know how much time does it take you to create this one. For me, it took around 20 minutes to do the outlining for all the lean 13 or 15 minutes more to do the coloring. So a total of 35 to 14 minutes to create this one. Doing the outlining for our Ghost, a little bit of broken line to add more characteristics to the ghost body. And now let's fill the remaining section in between with different leaves. Oh completely covering this section, the top right corner. Smaller leaves in between and few small stems with simple lines. Adding smaller leaves in between. So with these, we are done with most of the upper part. Now let's do this part, the middle section, and then we'll move towards the bottom part, creating large leaves in here, filling the empty speces with salter and smaller leaves. Now, for this ghost, two larger leaves like this, few more leaves like this on the sides. And now filling the remaining section with this kind of bit curved leaf. Creating small eyes like this. The eyes won't be that much detail. I'll be completely feeling the insides of the eye with the black. I won't be adding any mouths or hand. If you want, you can do that, too. If you want, you can do that, too, but I'll be keeping my goes quite simple. Only two little eyes. We have got one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten M goes to do the outlining and then then add the leaves for the remaining section. Filling the remaining section in between these two ghosts with simple lines. Now let's do the outlining and adding leaves for this one. With this, well done with this upper part of the project and then maybe do the remaining section. Adding a few smaller leaves in between this. We are almost halfway there. Adding few more leaves in here. This region was a little bit empty. Now continuing on in here, adding more leaves. Let's have a closer look and yeah, doing the outlining for the goose and surrounding it with two different kinds of leave wearing the saves and sides accordingly for the smaller regions, creating smaller leaves to fill that region. Okay. And we'll be continuing in this manner for the remaining part of this video. If you want, you can also increase the numbers of the flowers. Let's do the outlining for the ghost inside and then we'll be adding more leaves. Adding the leaves in here. Pretty simple eyes in here, too. Simple yes, filling this region in between the four ghost. Another variation of leaf in between, smaller leaves in between. And yeah, let's create a few more leaves in here for this smaller region, small leaves like this. And with this, we are done with this middle region, adding small eyes, doing the outlining for this coast on the side, on the bottom, left corner. Tiny eyes. Let's feel this remaining section, the bottom left corner with different leaves. We have to only feel this remaining section in here in between these three goes. And then we will move on towards the bottom right corner a little bit for the middle section too. And then we'll meet the with this section of the project. After that, we'll be doing the coloring using various seeds of the grey and the black, mostly darker seeds. Making the leaves a little bit larger in here. Now, let's do the outlining for this ghost. Creating leaves in here. Smaller leaves in between. We have got a smaller ghost in here. So I think a total of three more ghosts that we have to do the outlining for. Filling this region in here with the smaller leaves. Another small leaf in here, doing the outlining for our ghost. We have got a bit larger area in here, adding the ice for the remaining ghost that we did not add ice for simple circular seeds, filling this region in between the, simple, smaller leaves. Continuing on with creating more leaves for this right side. A. Let's do the outlining for this one, and we have got one more ghost to do the outlining. So this region in here, the bottom right side, we have got a bit larger spies. So I'll be creating one more outline for the ghost, bit smaller ghost. If you are satisfied with the number of the ghost and the placement of the ghost with your project, you don't have to add this. Since we got a bit larger empty space, I decided to add this smaller version of the ghost in here, bit smaller ghost in between the flowers. Okay. Now we have got only a small section to add various leaves. It will only take two or 3 minutes to complete this part of the project, and I'll only be covering up to here in this part of the project. And in the next part, we'll be doing the coloring, outlining our last ghost, adding the eyes. We have got one more ghost at the top that I have not added the eyes. So after doing this, I'll be adding the eye for that one, too. Let's feel this remaining section, a very small section. For the smaller regions, I'll be creating smaller leaves, and for the larger regions, we have got the larger leaves like this. Adding the leaves in between the flowers. And for the bottom right corner, a few more leaves in here than there to make it a little bit more denser, adding the last set of the ice for our goals. And with these, we are done with this section of the project. And I'll be seeing in the next section where we'll be doing the coloring for our project. Uh 16. Coloring the Background : Let's continue where we left off in here, I using a bit diluted form of the black, and I'll be adding it in between all the different leaves and the ghost. Using small brush strokes I feel the empty regions in between the different leaves that we have created. I'll also be wearing the consistency of the black a little bit. For some of the regions, I'll be using a bit lighter set of the green, and for the others, I'll be using black or a combination of dark seeds and a little bit of lighter seeds of the green and the black to do the coloring for the entire background. To make this process a little bit faster, you can always use the breast beans or the fine liner on the sketch pin to add the colours in between the leave with the water cul brrus and will take a little bit of time. But I decided to use the water Calibrs for this project. So continuing on with adding this black in between all the leaves that we have created, carefully adding it in between the leaves. I'm also covering some of the leaves that are not well defined, so you don't have to stick with the outlines that you have created. If you're not satisfied with it, you can just cover it with the black. Also, since I use a bit diluted consistency of the black, in here as I add more color in between the leaves, the consistency of this black will decrease a little bit, and it will turn into a darker side of the green. So it will create the transition in between the different sets of the blacks and the grays naturally. He. Continuing on with adding it. For the smaller section, if you don't want, you can just leave it as it is. Apart from this, we'll also be doing the coloring for our ghost. We'll be creating a little bit of transition using light seeds of the green. So a bit darker see of the green for the lower part of the ghost body, and as we progress, we'll be making it a bit lighter. If you want to add a little bit more detail in the form of hatching lines for the ghost body, you can do that, too. You can also add the mouth a little bit of fecal expression for the ghost if you want. And as you can see in here, for some of the regions, the intensity of the black has decreased for the others. It's quite dark. Since I use diluted consistency of the black with more water, that's why it's happening. I'm also wearing the angle of the breast. So on one side, we have got a bit more water. On that side, we are getting a bit lighter side of the black, and on the other side with less water, we are getting a bit darker side of the black. Thus we are creating a transition on its own. Also, when this dries up, the intensity will decrease a little bit since the consistency of the black is quite low. So it will lose its intensity a little bit when this dries up. If you want to make it a little bit more darker, you can use more saturated color with more pigment with more black pigment to make it more darker. For this region in here, we do not have that many leaves or the plants. So this region is comparatively more darker. So you've got the rough idea of what we'll be doing for the remaining section, filling the entire section in between the leaves with the black and different shades of the gray if you want to create the background for this project. So I name this project the ghost gathers. Instead of it, I should have named it gathering of the ghost. If you have any more suggestions for the name, let me know. We are almost done with the upper part. We have got only a small section to add coloring in here, then we'll move on to the lower part. Still, if you want to add a little bit of more leaves in between some of the sections where there is not that many leaves, you can do that. You can clearly see for the regions where I did not add more leaves that regions are a bit darker, comparatively more darker. So if you want to add few more leaves for other regions in here, for the lower section, where there are fewer leaves, you can do that. Continuing on with adding more black in between the leaves. You can make it a little bit more interesting if you only use a little bit of red to do the coloring for the flower. That will turn this project a little bit more haunting. You can also do the coloring for the eyes, using red. I'll only using black to do the coloring for the ghost eyes. But if you want, you can convert the ghost eyes into red eyes. For some of the reasons, I'm adding another layer of black to make it a little bit more darker. In here, too, once again, I'm using a bit diluted consistency of the black, and we have a little bit more water on the brush. And as we add more colors in between the leaves, the intensity will decrease a little bit and we will naturally get a little bit of darker sat in the gray. Continuing on with adding the colors in between all the leaves. It will take a little bit of time, but if you want, you can also add veins for the leaves. You can use the darker seed of the gray or you can also use the black to add multiple veins in between the leaves. I won't be doing that since it will take a lot of time since we have got lots and lots of leaves. And as I was mentioning, you can see the intensity of the black has decreased for most of the section for the upper part, and it has turned into somewhat darker shade of the gray since we use diluted consistency of the black, and when the watercolor dries up, its intensity decreases a little bit. We are more than halfway through this project. We have got only a small section at the bottom. Let's count how many ghosts we have created. We have one, two, three, four, five at the top. Then we have six, seven, eight, 19, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 20, 24, 25. So in here, for my project, I have created 25 ghosts. Let me know how many ghosts you have created for your project. In here, we have got a little bit of dance leaves, so we don't have that many species in between. But whatever spec is available in here, adding the black in between the leaves. Moving on to the bottom left side and adding the black in between the leaves. After this, we'll wait for it to dry a little bit. The upper section has already dried up, but the lower section will take a little bit of time, and then we'll be doing the coloring for our ghosts burning. Right now, it seems a little bit darker, but when this dries up, it will look somewhat seen as the upper part. Dual region for this project is comparatively darker, but the remaining section is somewhat of dark grease color. And with this, we are done with the addition of black and the grease for all the section in between the leaves. In here I'm using a bit lighter consistency of the grey with lots of water to do a little bit of flat was for the lower side of the ghost body. You can also use a little bit of black from the paper. The reason where we have got a bit more concentrated black and use it to create a little bit of flat was for the lower side of the ghost body like this. This is if you want to keep yours plain and simple, simple, white, you can do that, too. You don't have to add the colors in here in that case. Carefully adding it insure that the color that we used earlier has dried up. Otherwise, the two miller will mix and create a little bit of darker region in here. But you don't have to worry about that much since the intensity of the black we used earlier was quite low, and we use bit diluted consistency, so that won't matter that much. Using a little bit more water to spread a little bit more uniform meal. With these, we are done with the coloring for the ghost. Adding the black for the eyes of the ghost. If you want to add a little bit more characteristics to the eyes or create other variations for the eyes, you can do that, too. I have not added any mouth or fasial expresson, but if you want, you can also create simple versions of the mouth, smiling mouth or if you want to add a little bit more expression, you can add different kinds of mouth too. Let's add the black for the remaining ghost in here. We have got one, two, three, four, five, six, and seven ghosts. So adding the black for the ice for the remaining ghost, three more ghosts to go. And with these, we are done with all our ghosts. I decided to add a little bit of detailing for our flour. So small dot for the insides of the flour. If you don't want, you can just leave it as it is. So adding simple dot for most of the flowers in here. For the smaller flowers, I'm not adding it. And with these, we are done with this project, made the ghost gather. Let's unmask our painting. This is very satisfactory. I hope you enjoyed painting this. This is one of my favorites from this class. And yeah, with these, we are done with this project. We the Ghost gathers, and I'll be seeing you in the next project. 17. Soft Spirits in Srubs : Welcome to Soft Spirits in the Shrubs. This is going to be an interesting one. In here, we'll be creating a total of ten small ghosts. All the ghost will be wrapped with a blanket, and we'll only be creating two kinds of leaves and filling the entire section with it. One will be a smaller one and the other will be a bit larger one. The same kind of leaves that I saw during the demonstration video. In here, if you want to vary the seeds inside and the placement of the ghost, you can do that. And in the beginning, I decided to create Oden log in the front, but then I gave up on that idea and fill the entire section with different kinds of leave. Instead of that, if you want to continue with this sketch with Oden log in the front, you can do that, too. I'll be wearing the sizes of the ghost a little bit, and this is optional. If you don't want to wrap the clothes or the blanket around the ghost, you can just leave it as it is. I won't be adding any hand for the ghost. If you want, you can do that, too. I'll be creating very simple eyes and a mouth for the ghost. This will be the top ghost. I'll be adding the leaves in a triangular manner to create a pyramid to create a little bit of pyramid like for this project. Most of the bodies of the ghost will be covered by the different kinds of leave. Instead of it, if you want to sow a little bit more of its body, you can do that, too. This was going to be Odong in the front, and in here I was going to add few large and small stones and rocks. But then I came upon that idea. Instead of that, I only added kind of two different kinds of leave. In here, I'm using Tombospaspin to do the outlining for the ghost. Only the upper part of the ghost body will be visible. The remaining will be covered by the blanket or the different kinds of leave two different kinds of leave. Feel free to make changes and adjustment to the placements of the ghost. If you want, you can add few more ghosts on both the sides, the right and the left side. All becating very simple versions of the blanket like this wrapped around the ghost's body. Let's do the outlining for all the ghosts first and then we'll be adding multiple leaves surrounding the ghosts. Upper part we'll be adding smaller leaves, and for the lower parts, we'll be adding a combination of both smaller and larger leaves. Broken lines for the outlining of the blankets. Here I'm using a little bit of broken lines to add a little bit of more detailings Very simple yes like this for our ghosts. So I'll be creating very simple leaf like this for most of the section, the upper part, mainly. You have got the choice. If you want to add other kinds of leaves, you can do that. You can also use varieties of the leaves some bit larger, other bit smaller. So feel free to experiment on your own and add as many leaves as you like. Creating the outline for the blankets wrapped around the ghost body. Let's do the outrunning for the remaining ghosts. This project is going to take a little bit of time since we have got lots of ghosts, as well as lots of leaves that we'll be creating small mouth for our ghost. Smiling mouth for most of the ghost faces, I'll be creating smiling mouth like this and adding a little bit of blessing effect by creating two small hatching lines on both the sides of the mouth. Creating tiny eyes for our ghost. Smiling face. We have got three more ghosts, so let's do the outlining for this one. Cat like mouth, two hatching lines on the sides of the mouth, creating the outline for the blanket wrapped around the ghost's body. Moving on to this two last one. As you can see, I'm making adjustment to the pencil sketch that I did. You don't have to stick with the pencil sketch that you have created. We agree to make changes and adjustments as you see fit. Doing the outlining for the last one. Let's create the outline for the blanket wrapped around its body. A little bit more detail for the upper part of the blanket, creating the remaining section for its body. Later on, when I added the leaves, I decided to cover the blanket. But instead of that, if you want to sew the blanket or a complete ghost, you can do that, too. I decided to add one more ghost in here. Now, let's create the leaves. I'll be creating this kind of leaves for the entire section. I'll be wearing the leaves and the sizes of the leaves a little bit, but mostly I'll be covering the upper part with this kind of smaller leaves. So continuing on with creating this kind of simple versions of the leaf with a single midrib. So continuing on with creating this kind of simple leaves with a single midrib in the middle. Later on, I'll be using the watercolor to add the veins coming out of it, veins coming out from the mid drips. I won't be adding it for all the leaves, but for some of the leaves. And as for the species in between the leaves, I'll be feeling grease and black. This process is going to take a little bit of time since we have got a large area to cover. To make this process a little bit faster, you can create other variations of the leap or you can also add larger leaves. In that way, you can make this process bit faster by covering larger areas. Adding the leaves beside the ghost's body. As I was mentioning, I'll be covering most of the ghost's body with the leave. But if you want to sew a little bit more of its body and a more part of the blanket, you can do that, too. In here for this one, I did not create the outline for the blanket. If you want to do that, you can add the outline for the blanket just beside its face. I'll also be adding numerous small stems in between the leaves later on. I'm also adding small stems as you can see, and later on for the gaps in between the leaves, I'll be adding more stems. I'll be adding more stems. So yeah, continuing on with adding multiple leaves throughout the entire section, mostly for the upper part for now. This project is divided into two parts. This is the first part in here we'll only be covering up to the creation of the leaves. And in the next part, we'll be doing the coloring. So continuing on with creating multiple leaves, wearing the seeps and the sides a little bit. You can also change the orientations of the leaves a little bit. You can make them freeze towards right or left or up or down. For the areas where there is a larger cap, add small leaves in between. You don't have to create that much detailed versions of the leaf. For the smaller leave, you can just create simple triangular saves, a little bit curvy triangular saves for the ghost in here, extending its body a little bit. As I was mentioning, I'll be creating this kind of leaves, too. So another version of the leaf, the one that I showed you in the demonstration video. So we'll be creating multiple leaves like this, mostly for the lower part. Adding it randomly in the middle parts of the smaller leaf. I won't be adding it that much comparatively, it will be much less as compared to the normal leaf that we are adding. But if you want to increase the number, you can do that. And also, if you want, you can include other kinds of leave. Extending the side of the leaves a little bit. So continuing on with creating multiple leaves for the middle section mostly, extending the part of the ghost's body. Now, once again, creating the smaller leaves and adding it in between the leaves and covering most of the empty spaces in between. For the smaller areas, I'm just creating smaller leaves, but mostly creating this kind of bit medium sized leaf for the entire section. In N two, we have got a larger area, so I decided to create one more goes. So in total, we have got ten ghosts now. If you want, you can add few more ghosts, we have got more species. We have got a little bit more species in here on the bottom right side. If you want, you can add one more ghost in there. Let's create a few more leaves in here for this larger area. These kind of leaves are quite simple to create. Make them a little bit bent on the upper parts. For this section, we have got more areas, so let's create a few more leaves on the bottom right side. Now, let's feel the remaining section mostly with this kind of simple leaves. To make this process a little bit faster, you can just simply create hot soup with mid drips. This will make the process a little bit easier and a bit more faster. I'm also wearing the sign as well as direction of the leans. Now moving on to the lower half and adding it in between the two ghosts in here covering the part of its body with the leans. For the smaller areas, add small triangular for the lean. For smaller areas, create small leaves. Now, mostly we'll be filling the entire section with this kind of leaf. And if required, I'll be adding or creating a few more leaves, the larger leaves. So we have got lots of speech on the upper part, the top. If you want you can create more ghost on the top, right on the left, and add more leaves on both the sides, I won't be doing it since it will take a lot of time. But if you want, you can do that, too. Now we have reached the bottom section, creating the outline for the blanket in here for this ghost. And now continuing on with adding multiple leaves for the remaining section. We'll be using two or three different seeds of the grate to do the coloring for the leaves and for the spaces in between the leaves, I'll be using a little bit of black and create a little bit of textured background. Creating a few more larger leaves in here for this large area. Continuing on with the remaining section with this kind of hot seaml leaves. We have got only a small section to fill with the leaves. Adding more leaves on the left side, this beside the larger leaf. Adding smaller leaves in between the gaps. Mostly in here for the lower side, I'm creating hardline seam and adding the drops in the middle. This is making the process a little bit faster. Instead of this, if you want to create a little bit more detailed versions of the leave, the leave that we created for the upper part, you can do that, too. In here, I'm not adding that many stems, but if you want, you can add the stems too. Later on, I'll be adding a few stems, but for now, let's fill the remaining section with the leaves, and then we will decide whether to add more stems or the larger kinds of leave. And in the smaller leaves in between the larger ones. As you can see, for the ghost in the front, I covered most of its body with the line. Continue on with adding more leaves. And with these, we are done with the addition of the leaves. Later on, I'll be adding a little bit more details for this. I'll be creating few stems as well as and add few more leaves in between the smaller gaps to make it a little bit more denser and to give it a little bit more volume. Now continuing on with adding more leaves, smaller leaves to fill the empty spaces in between the larger leaves. This a is a little bit empty, bottom right side. So let's add a lot of leaves in here. Now add more leaves wherever you think that it's required or that area is a little bit empty. In near me, I've got a larger area with fewer leaves. So adding leaves in here. And yeah, that's all we'll be covering in this part of the project. I'll be seeing you in the next video where we'll be doing the coloring. 18. Coloring the Shrubs: Continuing on where we left off, we have already did the outlining. We have already created all the leaves. Now let's do the coloring. In here, I'm using a bit darker side of the green and creating simple veins for the leaves. I won't be adding the veins for all n llaves. I'll mostly be adding the veins for the leaves at the top and a little bit for the leaves at the middle section. If you want, you can add the veins for all nulls, but it will take a lot of time. So that's why I decided that I won't be doing it. As for the empty spaces in between the leaves, I'll be creating this kind of small brussel strokes to fill those area. This is the first laying of the color for the background. Apart from this, I'll also be adding a little bit of black. So continuing on with creating this kind of small bras strops to create a bit of rough texture for the empty species in between all the leaves. In here, I'm using a bit more darker set of the green. So mostly for the upper part, we'll be using a bit lighter set of the green. For the middle section, we'll be using a bit darker set of the gray, and for the bottom section, mostly we'll be using black. Carefully adding it in between the leans. We'll also be doing a little bit of coloring for the goose. But for now, let's continue with creating small br strokes and filling it in between empty spices in between the leaves. Instead of using different seats of the grey to feel this area, you can also use the black to fill it completely. Continuing on with filling the remaining section with a gray. Adding in here on the left side. We'll also be doing a little bit of coloring for the larger leaves. Mostly, we'll be adding a little bit of color on one side of the leaf. For now, continuing on with adding the color for the remaining section. We have already covered half of the part. When this dries up a little bit, we'll be adding a bit more darker side of the green or black to make it a little bit more darker and create a gradient from black to dark green then to light green. Adding in between the leaves in here just beside the goose. I did not cover this section, so adding the gray in here in between the leaves on the upper part on the upper right side. If you want to make it a little bit more denser, you can also add few stems. You can also add multiple stems in between the different leaves. Now moving on to the side, in here, the intensity of the grey has decreased a little bit, but we'll be making it a little bit more darker later on with the black. For now, continuing on with the remaining section, adding this grey in between the leaves. Carefully adding in here in between the leaves. As for the mes, we'll be creating a bit of rougher outline later on. Now, we have only got a small section to feel the gray. So yeah, continuing on with adding the gray in between all the different leaves, adding it for the upper part too. No, only a small portion in here in the bottom light sign. Adding it in between the larger leaves and the smaller leaves. And with these were almost with the sad of the gray, add more gray wherever you think it's required in between the leaves or wherever there are empty spaces. Using this grad to create a rough outline for the mase. Now, using a bit lighter side of the gray to do the coloring for the blanket and put the ghost in here, I added a little bit of more water to the color. Adding a little bit of green, strokes small brush strokes for the blanket trapped around the ghost's body, as well as for the larger leaves. I'm not covering the entire section of the larger leave, mostly adding it on one side. If you want to use a bit darker set of the green, you can do that, too. Now let's do a little bit of coloring for the ghost face, a small streak of the grey on one side of the ghost face. Instead of it, if you want to do a flat was, you can do that, too. Making one side of the space a little bit darker. If you want to add a little bit more detailing, you can add a little bit of this gray just beside its mouth and just beside its eyes. Now let's add a little bit more detailing for of the leaves, particularly for the leaves at the top. So adding small veins coming out from the midrib for some of the leaves. If you want, you can add the veins for all the leaves, but it will take a lot of time. So I won't be doing that for all the leaves. But for some of the leaves at the top and a little bit of leaves in here for the middle section, Adding a little bit of moren green for the face of the ghost. Let's make it a little bit darker. So in here, I'm using black, a bit diluted consistency of the black and overlaying it on top of the lighter seed of the green. The green that we used earlier has not dried up properly, so the two colors will mix on its own a little bit and create a subtle gradient or a subtle transitions. I won't be covering the entire middle section with it, mostly for some of the regions to make it a little bit darker, where there are lots of leaves. But for the lower section, we'll be adding a lot of black. Adding it carefully in between the leaves in here. Create small bus or stroke to give it a little bit more texture. Adding it besides the Ghost blanket. So you've got the rough idea of what I mean to see. For the upper part, we have got lighter C. In here, we have got a combination of both a darker set and bit diluted consistency of the black. And for the lower half and for the lower section, we'll be using a bit more plaque to make it a bit more darker. And I'll also be adding more black in between the leaves. In here, for the middle section, I did not add that much black in between the leaves, but as we progress towards the beat, we'll be adding more plaques in between the leaves. In here in the bottom part. So adding a little bit more blacks in between the leans. The darker side of the grease that we used earlier has not dried up to pearl so the two colors will mix and create a beautiful transition in between the grease and the black. Here, too, I'm creating small brush strokes to give it a little bit of texture. We'll also be using this colour to redefine the bees a little bit, creating a little bit more rough edge for the bees that we created with a darker side of the green. Adding it in between the smaller and the larger leaves, small brushes strokes. In here, I'm using a little darker side of the green for this side since we have got a bit larger area in here, a bit more darker side of the green and adding it in between the leaves, the larger and smaller ones. The same thing that we did for the remaining section. In here, since we have got a bit larger area with no ghost in here, the bottom right side, so I decided to make this region a little bit more darker with this black. If you want, you can add a little bit more black for the upper part to make that region a bit more darker. The regions where there are no ghost or less ghosts, you can add the blacks in there. Now I'm just adding the black wherever there is more empty spaces in between. Adding it in here and just beside the Ghosts blanket. Tiny brass strokes to give it a little bit of texture, redefining the best with this black, giving it a little bit of sharp edge. And with these, we are done with this project. I'll be seeing you in the next project. 19. Pot full of Ghosts : Welcome to the pot full of the ghost. Let's start with the pencil sketching. Here we'll be creating multiple ghost, a total of four ghosts and a large pot. In here, I'm using this vertical line to determine the length for the main thing, the ghost and the pot. Let's create the pot for our ghost. So we'll be creating a large pot in here, creating this horizontal line to determine the width for our pot, and now encircling it in this manner, ten this elliptical see for the upper part of the pot. I'll be dividing the pot into different sections, and we'll be adding a little bit of more details and simple pattern designs for it. So this will be the upper part of the pot. Now, let's extend it and do the remaining section of our pot. So this is going to be our large pot. Making it a little bit curve at the bottom section. Creating the best for our pot. Instead of creating this kind of large pot, if you want to make changes and variation were to do that. Later on when I was doing the outlining for the pot, I made a little bit of changing and made it a bit smaller. So if you want to change the seat and sizes of the pot, in here, you can do that. Now, as for the ghost, I'll be creating a total of four ghost, a little bit of whimsical ghost that I saw in the demonstration video. Here, if you want to make changes to, and the sizes of the ghost and the placement of the ghost, do that. This will be the largest one. Here's another one, making this a little bit more Carvin. If you want, you can also add the hands for our ghost. I won't be doing it. I'll be creating different kinds of leaves and plants for it. By multiple in here, I mean two or three different kinds of leaves. If you want to add more varieties to it, you can do it. Mostly, I'll be creating only these two kinds of leave. I'll be wearing the sides a little bit. Mostly only these two kind of simple leaves for the entire project. For the regions near the ghost, I'll be making the leaves quite smaller. And as we move away from it, I'll be increasing the sizes of the leave. I'll be creating a bit larger stem and then creating the leaves wearing the sizes a little bit. And basically near the pots, I'll be creating this kind of bit curvy plants. As was mentioning, making the side of the pot a little bit smaller. If you're satisfied with the seep in the side of your pot, you don't have to do this. Oh adding another as for our pot. You're using the earlier pencil sketch that were in. Feel free to make changes and adjustment as you see fit. You don't have to exactly create the same thing that I'm doing. Now, continuing on with creating multiple leaves. As I was noning for the regions near the ghost, I'll be making the sides of the leaf mid smaller. And as we move away from it, I'll be making the siest larger. In here, I've not created all the leaves. I'll be using the fine in it to create all the leaves to avoid a little bit of confusion. That's why I did not use the pencil sketch to do it. For this one, in here, I'm using the Sakura micron fine liner to do the outlining, starting with the ghost. Making the seeds a little bit curvier like this. You don't have to stick with the pencil sketch outlines that you have created, feel free to make changes and adjustments. We have only created a few pencil sketches for the leaves. In here, I'll directly using this paint to create multiple leave. If you're not that confident, you can use the pencil sketch first and then use the fine liner to do the outlining for the leaves. Creating smaller leaves as I was mentioning, smaller leaves near the ghost. Let's add one more in here. I have not added the hands for the ghost, but if you want, you can include the hand stew. Let's create a few grasses in here, and then on top of it, we'll be adding the other kinds of leave that I am creating. Adding the leaves in here so that will be more comfortable with adding more different kind of varieties of leaf for the remaining section. Just ensuring that what will be in here, just near the curved section or the outline of the pot. That's why I am adding these leaves first. Adding it in here, making them a little bit curved like this. I'm not added that much leaves, but if you want to increase the number, you can do that. Now, let's create lots of leaves for the remaining section. For some of the leaves as I was mentioning, I'll be making the stems quite large like this. For each stem, I'll only be adding a single leaf. If you want, you can add multiple leaves too. You can branch of the main stem and add more leaves beside it. But in here, I'll only be creating a single stem and a single leaf for that. The regions near the ghost, I'll be keeping the leaves quite simple. And I'm not going to oversaturate it. I'll be using a little bit of black to make the region in here just beside the ghost and beside the smaller leaves and the plants to make it bit darker. But if you want to add multiple leaves, you can do that. In here, I'm just adding the leaves just beside the ghost so that we can cover the front of the ghost, and then later on, we'll be adding other leaves just beside it. Adding a few more band lids on the side. A large leaf in here. Let's create a few leaves on top of the head of this ghost. Another large leaf. In this video, it also divided into two sets. And this is going to be the first part. In here, I'll only be doing the outlining. And in the next part, we'll be doing the coloring. I'll be mostly using the breast pains to do the coloring. If you want, you can use the watercolor. Now, just adding a few more leaves in here. This beside the goes to make this region bit saturate it. Moving on to doing the outlining for the pot. I'll be creating this kind of very simple outlining for the upper part of the pot and add a little bit more detailing for the region below it. If you want to create patterns or designs, you can do that. Still, if you want to extend the side a little bit, you can do that. Now for the bees. Making the maze a little bit more detailed, creating a little bit of carved was for the pot. A little bit of detailing for the upper part of the pot, dividing it into different section. We'll be using saints of the grease and black to do the coloring for the pots. Uh and when we'll be coloring it, we'll be dividing into more sections. I'll also be creating swirling wave like fawn beside and on top of the ghost. For now, let's add the ice for our ghost. This kind of ice that I showed you in the demonstration video. You can create other varieties of the ice. I'll also be adding simple mounts. For the remaining section of the ghost, the lower part of its body, I'll be using bit of simple broken hatching lines to add a little bit of texture. Let's add the ice for the last ghost. Bit curving mouth for this one. So we are done with the basic outline of the ghost and the plants and the pot. And as also mentioned creating this kind of weave cloud like see beside the pot and the upper part of the ghost. This is Option. If you don't want to do this, you can just skip it simple as it is. Just swallow along with me and create this kind of swirly weave or cloud like formation, making it wrapped around the pot. In here I'm using a bit of broken lines to create this kind of seed. Later on, we'll be using seeds of blacks and the Greek to do the coloring and dividing into different sections. So it's strapped around the pot like this, extending it a little bit on the side, on the left side, dividing it into a little bit of different sections. Adding it in here just beside the larger leaves a little bit like this. Now creating the cloud like seat in here and extending it towards the upper part. You can make it as curvy as you want, or you can make it a little bit uniform a bit more straight. Adding a few more lines to divide into different sections. I'll also be creating this kind of simple four pointed stars a total of five or six. If you don't want to do this, you don't have to do this. Or instead of this kind of stars, if you want to create the normal five stars, you can do that, too. Adding a little bit more detailing for some of the sections to make it a bit more defined in here for the bees too, creating this kind of simple seep like this. Here too, I'm using different sets of the grease in the black to do the coloring. A little bit more detailing for the ghost. And with these, we are done with the outlining for all nego. Let's erase it erasing the pencil sketch. I see that the color has dried up, otherwise, the ink might smudge removing the eraser dust. Now adding a little bit more detailing for some of the sections. I'll only be covering up to here in this part of the project. And in the next part, we'll be doing the coloring using the breastpins. If you want to use the watercolor, you can do that. Also, if you want to make it colorful, you can do that, too. A bit more detailing is beside the eyes of our ghost. And as I was mentioning, using this kind of bit broken hatching lines to add a little bit more texture for the ghost body. So for all the four ghosts, I'll be adding a little bit of this kind of broken lines for the lower part of their body. This two is optimal. If you don't want to do this, you can just keep it plain and simple, adding it beside the leaves, making the outlines a bit more distinct in here in between the two separate ghosts. For the smaller one, only a small portion of the lines will be visible. And now adding it for the last ghost. For the upper section, we have got broken lines and for the remaining section, simple plain line like this following the ghost. And that's all for this video, I'll be seeing in the next part. 20. Using Brush Pens: Oh. Et's continue with where we left off. We already did the outlining for Alt ghost. And here I'm using black to do the coloring for the eyes of our ghost first. Later on, I'll be using a little bit of white to add more details a little bit of highlights and the pupil and iris for the eyes of our ghost. For now, just filling the entire insides of the eyes with the black and also doing the outlining for the mouth of our ghost. Adding the black for the remaining two ghosts, completely filling the insides with the black. In here, I'll be using this booster dual tip breast paint to do the coloring. If you don't tables, you don't tap to, you can do the same thing using the black and the grease from the watercolor. Using a bit lighter seed of the green to do the coloring for the weaves that we have created. Just adding it beside the outline sections, following the seed, we have created adding it just like this. Instead of this, you can always use the watercolor. So if you're using watercolor brushes, just add it beside the outline section, the extra lines and exodtilings that we you can discrete smaller brush stroke and add it like this. Now moving on to the lower section and adding the coloring in the same manner, following the s and adding it. Adding it on the other side too. We have got one more smaller section in here, adding it for this section too. Now, let's continue. Right now, I'm using a darker sat on the green, and once again, adding it is beside the outline section, as compared to the earlier one, we are adding it a little bit less. Also doing the outlining for one side of it like this, particularly overlaying a little bit of it on top of the lighter side of the grain that we used earlier. Adding it carefully in here beside the ghost and just beside the ghost and the plant. On the other side, doing a little bit of outlining on the one side and a little bit overlaying on top of the lighter side of the grain. So you've got the rough idea how I am adding it. You can add it in any manner as you see fit. Just don't cover the lighter side of the green that we used here. If you're using watercolor, just wait for the lighter side of the color to dry and then add another seed of the gray on top of it in the same manner. Or if you want to vary the designs of the seeds, you can do that, too. We'll be doing the coloring in the same manner for the leaves using two or three different seeds of the gray. Now, using the lighter seed of the green and do the coloring for the pot, adding it carefully in between the leaves, I won't be covering the entire section with it. Most of it will be covered by the black, so only a small portion of the green will be visible. Adding it on the right side too here, too. Most of the left side will be covered with the black, only a small portion of the gray, and the white will be visible. So I'm not adding that much of gray, adding it for the lower section too, as I was mentioning, using the black for the pots. You can just follow along with me and do the coloring or you can do the coloring on your own. And I'll be dividing into different sections and then filling the insides with the black like this, adding a little bit of detailing and bit of texture for the pot. If you are using a waterclur, wait for the lighter sd of the grade to dry and then add the coloring for the pot in any manner as you see fit. You can cover the entire section with the blackto if you want, carefully adding it in between the leaves. Put some of the sections, I'll be writing this kind of bit simple patterns and filling the insides with the black. And as you can see, I'm not covering the entire section. I'm just filling the middle portion of it leaving a little bit while leaving a little bit of space in between. Now, let's do the remaining section, the lower part of the pot. Doing a little bit of outlining to sow the sids casted na leaf. And mostly on the right side, we'll be completely filling it while leaving a little bit of smaller white streaks or gray streaks to be visible. For this side on the right, I created a little bit of curve to give it a little bit more organic meal to the pot. Let's do the outlining for the leaves first and then we'll be doing the coloring. Doing the outlining in here for the cloud light saves that we have created. You can leave as many highlights or white space in between as you see fit. So these, we are done with this section. Let's do the coloring for the right sign. Here too, I'll be leaving a little bit of white spieces in between. Decreasing the size of the white spiece a little bit. Now, feeling the remaining section with the black. Moving onto the lower part, doing the outlining first and then dividing into different sections, a little bit of white piece in the middle. Now, let's feel the remaining section with the black. I'll also be doing the outline for the pots once again to make it a little bit more distinct, a bit more bolder. So like this, doing the outlining. Doing the outlining for the upper part too. The division between different section of the pot, feeling the insides of the line like this. Instead of using black to do the coloring in here, if you want, you can use lighter or darker seats of the green. You can use the lighter or the darker seats of the great toe. For the bottom section too, a little bit of white space. Now, let's fill the remaining section, the bottom section of the pot. For the sections, I'll be leaving it simple and plain white and for the remaining one, filling it with the black. With the brass pins, we can create bit more minute details and have more precisions and it will make the process quite faster, too. But for most of the project, I'll only be using the watercolor. You can do the same coloring in here easily with the watercolor. We are not adding any extensive details that cannot be replicated with watercolor. So if you are using watercolor, you don't have to worry about it. And as was narin adding small brushes strokes for the insides in between the ghost and the plant for the lower part for the lower part of the ghost, small strokes like this. I'll also be adding a little bit of green later on. Let's do the coloring for the leaf. If you want, you can fill the entire section of the leaf with it or you can use different seeds of the gray to do the coloring for the leaf. In here for the remaining leaves, I'll be showing you a few examples. I'm using a bit lighter seed of the gray. Also, using this lighter set of grey and overlaying it on top of the hatching lines, not covering the entire section, but just like this, adding it beside the ice stew to add a little bit more characters to the fees of our goes Adding it for the third ghost, a little bit beside its eyes and for the final ghost too. Now for the leaves in here, mostly I'll be feeling the insides with this. And as you can see, I'm not covering the entire section. I'm leaving of white space in between the outlines. Later on, I'll be using darker shades of the green to redo the outlines for some of the leaves as well as add midribs and the veins, not add midribs but make the midribs a little bit more detailed and a bit more darker. Continuing on with the remaining leaves. Here, too, you can use various seeds of the green. Mostly, I'll only be using two or three shades of the green. I have got two different seeds of the green, but mostly I'll be using two or three shades of the green to do the coloring for this entire project. Since I don't want to make it over complicated, if you're using watercolor and if you use that many seeds of the green, the distinction between different seds the green will become bit harder to distinguish. So that's why I'll only be using a few shades of the gray to do the coloring for this entire project. Now going with this darker state of the green and doing the outlining for some of the lames and creating the mid rips and the veins. By mid rip, I mean just overlaying it on top of the mid rips and creating this kind of small veins coming out from the mid drips. Also whirling is a little bit on top of the black that we used earlier to make this region a bit more darker. Instead of creating this kind of simple and nostrat veins, if you want, you can make the veins a little bit curving. Mostly, we'll be doing the same thing, doing the outlining for the leaves, going over the midrbs and adding multiple veins. Adding a little bit of coloring for the stars, the four content stars that we have created. Going back to the leaves. For some of the leaves, I'll only be doing the outlining for the one side, mostly for the larger leaves. For others, I'll be doing the outlining for the entire leaf and then add the veins. If you want to do a little bit of sading, you can do that. You can make one side of the leaf a little bit more darker. In here for this one, I decided to do the outlining for both sides so outlining the side too. Now for the leaves on top of the pot, adding the grease on both the sides, as well as overlaying it on top of the matrix. In here, I won't be adding any veins, but if you want to add that kind of detailing, you can do that, too. Outlining the smaller leaves in here. For some of the leaves that are lying behind, I'll be adding a little bit of more grease for those. Outlining this straight one. Now for the two remaining leaves in here a little bit of mon green for the clouds that we have created in here. I'll also be using a little bit of green for the base. Instead of using the darker consistency in here, I'm using the lighter one. So using the broader tip of the breast to do the coloring for the entire section and now a bit darker consistency of the gray or darker seat of the green to go over the outlines creating this kind of bit wavy lines to do the outlining for the bees. Now, let's make it a little bit darker. Once again, using the black. And I'll be adding this black on top of all the outlines in here for the base. And as you can see, I'm also creating bit of dynamic lines by wearing the thickness of the lines a little bit. For some of the sections, especially the curved part, I'm making the curved part a little bit more thicker. Adding it for the last outline section in here, making this a little bit more thicker. Now, let's do the coloring for the cloud that we have created. I won't be using it to do the outlining for the outside section. Mostly, I'll be adding the blacks for the intersection. For some of the curve part. I'll be making it a little bit thicker by wearing the line thickness. Adding it on the right side. So mostly for the middle region, I did not add the black to do the outlining. But in here, we don't have that many black, so adding a little bit of black to do the outlining. Moving on to the upper part, doing the same thing. In here, you can do the outlining for some of the sections since we don't have that many black color in here. For the lower section, we had lots of black from the pot and from the best. That's why I did not use the black to do the outlining. But in here, that's not the case. Also make some of the section a bit more thicker by wearing the line thickness and creating a little bit of dynamic lines. Adding a little bit of black for the start too. And yeah, with these, we are done with the black for now. For this one, I used a lot of green to do the coloring. So using a bit more darker seed with the green to add the veins for in this one, put some of the leaves, adding a little bit darker seed with the green. If you want, you can also do the coloring for some of the leaves in the same manner. Making this region a little bit more darker by adding this darker side of the green in here overlaying on top of the black tube, a little bit of the green for the clouds that we have created. Now, using jelly pin to add the highlights for the eyes of our ghost. Simple circular seeds for the highlights. Adding it for the last one. Let's make it a little bit more brighter. I decided to add a little bit more detailing for the heights of our ghost, so a little bit more detailing like this. For each ghost, I'm making a little bit of adjustment for the highlights. Adding few more dots in here for this ghost. And with these, we are done with this project, part for love ghost. I hope you enjoyed painting this. I had a lot of fun painting this one. This is one of the simpler one. And yeah, I'll be seeing in the next project. 21. Wetland Watchers: Welcome to the wetland vouchers. This is a little bit simpler and easier one, starting with umbies. And here we'll be creating this kind of wave like pattern. In here, we'll be creating this kind of water puddle. And for this project, we'll be creating multiple ghosts, a little bit of curvier versions of the ghost with smaller hands. In here, I'll be creating a total of seven or eight ghosts. If you want to increase or decrease the number of the ghosts, you can do that. I'll also be creating varieties of leaves. Some will be quite smaller, others will be quite larger. Multiple ghost, a little bit of curvy ghost like this. Instead of creating this kind of ghost, if you want to create other versions of the ghost, you can do that. Making the ghost a little bit more curvier. I'll be adding tiny hends for our ghost, but if you don't want to do that, you can keep it plain and simple. I'll also be using lots of hatching line to add the detailing for the close of the ghost. So this will be our simple ghost, and I believe that you can treat the leaves directly. I want if you're not that confident, you can start with a simple pencil sketching for the leaf and then do the outlining. In here, I'm just starting with the outlining the ghost and then we'll be creating multiple varieties of leaf and stems. You don't have to stick with the outlines that you have created for you to make changes and adjustment to the outlines, the pencil sketches that you have done. I'll also be using a little bit of dynamic lines by wearing the thickness of some of the sections of the lines. Mostly, I'll be making the bend or carved portion of the ghost body a little bit thicker. Okay. Let's do the outlining for the remaining ghost. In here, I decided to make a little bit of adjustment for this one, so feel free to make changes in adjustment, as I mentioned. You don't have to stick with the outlines, the pencil outlines that you have created. The ghost at the bottom sexon I decided to make them quite smaller, comparatively smaller than the upper ghost, adding one more ghost in here. So we have got a total of seven ghosts in here, a bit of dynamic lines, making the upper part of the ghost bit more thicker. And now for the leaves and the plants, I'll be creating varieties of leaves. Some will be quite smaller, others will be quite larger. You can create as many leaves as you want. You can create other kinds of variations for the leaves. Simple and plain stem, and then few leaves coming out of it. For the smaller areas, mostly, I'll be using this kind of simple version of the leaf. To make this process faster for the larger sections, I'll be creating larger leaves. I'll also be adding few leaves on top of the ghost's body like this. Simple and plain stem, and then few leaves coming out of it. I'll also be creating this kind of bit curve and bit longer leaf. Filling most of the regions with this kind of varieties of leaf. This process is going to take a little bit of times since we have got lots of area to cover to fill limpty space in between, I'll be creating smaller leaves or this kind of bit curb leaves. Feel free to make changes in adjustment to the placement of the leaf. To make this process bit faster, for the larger sections, I'll be creating larger leaves for the smaller section, bit smaller leaves, larger leaves like this to feel limpty space in between, I'll be creating smaller leaves or this kind of bit corm leaves. If you want, you can also add smaller flower, four or five petals flower that I sold in a demonstration with you. I won't be adding it, but if you want to do that, you can add as many flowers as you want. Adding this kind of bit carve leaves on top of the ghost head. On this side, I decided to create this kind of bit larger leaf. As I mentioned for the larger areas, I'll be creating larger leaves so that I can make this process bit faster. So yeah, this is going to take a little bit of time. Me, patent and just follow along with me and create multiple leaves. For the bees in here, if you want to add potted plants, you can do that. I won't be doing it. Instead of that, I'll be creating multiple plants and multiple larger leaves to cover this bese area. Feel free to make changes and adjustment to the placement of the leaf, creating this kind of three petal leaves in here. Larger stem and adding few leaves coming out of it. Feel free to make changes in adjustment to the placement of the leaf. What we are going to do is to cover the entire section here for the lower part of the ghost body, and later on, I'll be using bit thicker consistency of the grid to cover most of the empty species in between the ghost and in between the leaves that we are creating. Creating a bit larger leave in here for this section. For this side too, we'll be creating two or three larger leaves and then smaller and curvy leaves. Adding more leaves in here. Adding curvy leaves like this. A bit larger leaf. Now covering this section with a few more leaves. Adding the matrix for the leaf. Few more larger leaves for this area, later on, I'll be using bit darker consistency of the green to add the veins for the larger leaves. I'll also be adding the veins for the smaller leaves. I won't be adding it for all of them, but for most of them, I'll be adding the veins. Now, in here for the maze region, adding this kind of simple lines to sow the different stems that are present in here. And here, I'm trying to fill most of the empty space in between the leaves with this kind of simple stems or simple and smaller leaves. Now let's do the outlining with a bit of curvy lines for this water petal that we have created. You can make it as curvy as you want. Here, too, we'll be using different seeds of the grease and black to do the coloring in different layers. Now, I'll be adding a few more leaves here and there, wherever there is less leaf. For this reason, we have got a bit of empty species, so Now, let's create simple and plain eyes like this. Instead of this kind of eyes, if you want, you can create other kind of eyes. For some of the ghosts, I'll be creating mouth for others, I won't. I'll also be creating simple and plain hands, very small projections for the hands later on. Let me so what I mean, this kind of simple projection for the hands of our ghost. Moving on to the ghost at the top. So this coast is facing towards the up, so the eyes are a little bit on the top. Simple plain smiling mouth. Let's do the same thing for the remaining three ghosts. Simple BD eye likes this and simple mouth. If you want to add a little bit of more characteristics to the face, you can do that. Let's create small hand for this one. Now we have got two more ghosts, simple clean eyes, simple mouth, and small hands. Make the outlines of the hands a little bit more darker to create a clear distinction, making the eyes a bit more darker. Now for the last ghost in here, Simple line, making the eyes a bit more darker. A simple hand in here. And let's create mouth to. Adding the mouth for this one, too. Making the side of the mouth bit larger for this one. Adding few more leaves in here and there to make some of the regions a bit more denser, to add a little bit more volume for the region in here, particularly for the bees. Mostly, we'll be covering it with the darker set of the grain later on, dividing this waterropl into different sections so that we can do the coloring in different sections, grease and the blacks, and for some of the section, I'll be leaving it as it is simple and plain white of the paper. This project is also divided into two parts. This is the first part. This is the first part, and here I'll only be covering up to here, the sketching and outlining of the ghost. And in the next part of this project, I'll be using the water colors to do the coloring for the ghosts, the plants, and the base. These are just addisonal details, creating a few more leaves here and there to make some of the regions a bit more denser, a bit more darker. If you're satisfied with the number of plants and the leaves that you have created, you don't have to oversaturate it. I'm also adding a little bit more detailing for the remaining section of the ghost body. I'll be doing a lot of hatching lines later on for some of the section of the ghost body. And yeah, with these we are done with this section of the video. I'll be seeing the next part. 22. Coloring the water puddle : Welcome to the second part of the Wetland watcher. Let's do the coloring. In here I'm started with the grade to do the coloring for the leave. As you can see, I'm not covering the entire section of the leave, just adding it beside the midras and I'm leaving a little bit of white spice in between. For most of the leaves, we'll be doing the coloring in the same manner. For the curvy leaves in here, I'm just adding it beside the mid dress as well as leaving a little bit of white space. Instead of this, if you want to cover the entire section with the flat was of the green, you can do that and later on add the veins and the mid drips. But for most of the leaves, I'll be adding the color in this manner, adding it just beside the amid drips and leaving a little bit of white spice in twin. I'll also be using two or three different seeds of the green to do the coloring. This is our first layering of the color for the leaf. For the ghost we have created, we'll be doing a little bit of flat was and for some of the sections, we'll be making it bit darker. For the others, we'll be keeping it quite simple with a simple flat pass. This process is going to take a little bit of time since we have got lots of leave. I'll also be wearing the consistency of the color a little bit. For some of the leaves, I'll be using a bit thicker consistency of the grease, for the others a bit lighter Also, the intensity of the gray will reduce on its own since we'll be doing the coloring for lots of the leave with the same rush, so the intensity will decrease a little bit. In here for this larger leaf, I'm using a bit thicker consistency of the gray. Try to create a little bit of distinction between different kinds of the leaves. For the larger leaves, try to use a bit thicker consistency of the green so that it will remain a little bit distinct and different from the remaining leaves. Adding it carefully in here. Since we are using a bit thicker consistency of the green, try not to add this gray on top of the mid drops. Otherwise, it will cover some of the sections of the mid drops. Adding it carefully following the seep of the leave that we have created for this larger leaf in here. And in between the leaves, I'll be using thicker consistency of the dark grease to do the coloring for the background. For now, let's add the grease for all the remaining leaves. For the stems, I won't be adding the colors, but if you want, you can do the coloring for the stems too. Now, for the small leaves in here, adding it just beside the mid rips that we have created. For the stems, I won't be adding the colors, but if you want, you can do the coloring for the stems too. Adding it for the three petal leaves that we have created. Now we have got few more leaves only, I think four or five leaves, adding it for the larger leaf in here, following the seep of the leaf and adding a color for the inside. And yeah, with this, we are done with most of the leaf. Now, let's do the coloring for the water puddle that we have created in here. As I was mentioning, I won't be covering the entire section. I'll be using two or three sets of the blacks and the grease to do the coloring. This is our first set. And as you can see, I'm using a bit thicker consistency of the gray in here to make it a bit more distinct and apart from the leaves that we have created. You can use this to add the veins for the leaves. So creating multiple smaller veins for the leaves. So this process is also going to take a little bit of time since we have got lots of leave to make this process a bit easier. If you want, you can use you can use the grey brastpan if you have, or you can use the black colored fine lion or the breast pin to add the veins. Instead of using the grey, you can use black with that. For this too, I won't be adding the mitra for all the leave. I'll be adding the wins for the remaining leaves later on. All the leaves has not dried up properly in here for the background, till it dries in here for the background, I'm using a bit thicker and bit darker consistency of the green to add this kind of bit random strokes to create a rough texture for the background, adding it carefully in between the leaves and int the stems. As you can see, I'm not covering the entire section. I'm leaving a little bit of white specs in between. If you want, you can cover the entire section with it, but I'll be creating this kind of bit proffer texture for the background. Adding it in here for this ghost. Extending it a little bit towards the upper part of the ghost body. You can also use this to add the veins for the leaf. Insu that the color that you have used has dried up. Otherwise, the two colors will mix, and we don't want that In here, I'm adding the vein for some of the leaves where the color has dried them. Simple, small veins for the leaves. I'm also adding a bit larger strok for the middle of this curved leave. Adding it for this one, the curve leaf in here. Adding the veins for this larger leaf. It's to the same thing in here for the larger leaf, adding multiple veins. Creating smaller veins for this small leaf. Now, once again, for this larger leaf, small veins. Putting the smaller wins for the smaller leaves. In here, the colour has not dried up properly, so we'll wait for it to dry a little bit and then add another layer of color on top of it. Till the color for the leaves rise lets to the coloring for our ghost. So using a bit water consistency of the grate into the coloring for our ghost, we'll be doing a little bit of flat was and create a little bit of darker regions, a little bit of darker seed for one side of the ghost body. For now, just add the color for one side, and then we'll be spreading the color using the water. Following the curve sweep of the ghost body and adding the color like this. Adding it for this one, and now adding it for the last one. Spreading the color a little bit for the background, too, covering the entire section of the background with this seed of the gray. A bit lighter and watery consistency of the gray. Now, spreading the color a little bit to get a little bit of flat. We won't be covering the entire section, but just spread the color a little bit to subdue its intensity. Spread the color a little bit more. You can use a bit more water to get a flat are. Colors for the leaf has dried up, so using the green to add veins once again. For some of the leaves, I'm just adding the veins without any color for the background. In here, it was not dried up earlier. So this time it has dried up, so adding the veins. Adding a little bit more rough texture for the area in here. I'm moving on to the water puddle in here, adding a little bit more coloring adding a little bit of grief for some of the section of the ghost's hand like this, adding it in here for this ghost. For the larger ghost, we made the hands a bit more thicker for some section, so there is no need to do that. Moving into the leaves at the top, adding the veins for this. Treating small veins for the remaining leaves. I'm also leaving some of the leaves without veins. But if you want to cover all the leaves with the veins, you can do that. Adding a little bit more detailing just beside the ghost budding. A bit more rough texture in here. So this is a bit lighter consistency of the color as compared to the earlier color that we used for the rough texture. Adding a little bit more of this lighter stat of the green for most of the empty species. And yeah, with these we add with the seed of the green. Now, let's make it a little bit more darker, so I'll be using the blacks. O So going in with the black to add a little bit more detailing for the water bottle that we have created, following the curb seam that we have created and adding it like this. Let's make the maze a little bit more distinct from the upper part. I was not satisfied with it, so later on I use the fine liner a little bit more to add a little bit more detailing for the ghost body. As you can see, I added lots of hatching line for some of the section. And this is how the projects turned out. And I'll be seeing you in the next 23. Nest Of the Gentle Ghost Bonus: Welcome to the bonus project, miss of the gentle Ghost. In here, we'll only be creating the simple pin illustration. It's upon you how we'll be doing the coloring, starting with the vertical lines to determine the length for our ghost. We'll be creating a large ghost with a little bit of more detailing for its cloth, and we'll be creating multiple flowers and two or three different kinds of the leaf. Simple lights like this, a little bit of folds for the cloth of the beds it goos. In the bottom section, we'll be creating plants with lots of flower. For the upper part, we'll be creating different kinds of leave two or three different kinds of leaf and we'll be using most of the ink llustration technique, pen and ink lustration technique using simple hatching lines to create the flowers and the leaves. You can then add the coloring on your own. For this one in here, I'm using the Sakura micron file liner to do the outlining. If you want to make adjustment to the seeds and the sizes of their ghost, you can do that, too. You can also change the placement. You can increase the number of their ghosts too instead of creating one, you can create multiple ones too. Now let's create the leaves. Put the upper section in here mosque, I'll be creating this kind of leaf on the right side and on the left side. On the right side, apart from this one, I'll also be creating a bit larger variations of the leaf and we'll be doing a little bit of hatching technique to make the region a little bit darker to sow the cytosca by the larger leaves. Simply create as many leaves as you want. If you want, you can also cover the entire background with it. I won't be doing it. I'll only adding I'll only be adding a few leaves on both the sides, particularly a little bit more leaves on the right side, and on left, we have got fewer leaves. I'll be creating these kind of branches and add multiple leaves in here for the remaining section. You can create other kind or other variations of the leaf as you see fit. We have practiced and created 700 different variations of the leaf. So if you want to include that in the smallness project, you can do that, too. To make this process a little bit easier, if you want, you can also start with a brown and then add multiple leaves throughout it. Adding smaller leaves for this region. In here, as I was mentioning, you can start with a branch and add multiple leaves beside it like this. If you want you can make the branches a little bit more defined and detail, making it a little bit more broader. This region on the right, I'll be adding a little bit of more leaves, comparatively more leaves. And as I was mentioning, I'll also be wearing the sizes and adding other varieties of the leaf like this bit of larger variations of the leaf on the side. So let's create a few more larger leaves in here. And as for the bottom sexion as I mentioned, we'll be adding multiple flowers, and I'll be mostly creating the same kind of plant. I'll also be creating smaller bids, flower buds. Creating outline for the branch, and man will be covering it with multiple leaves. Let's feel this remaining section. I won't be doing the coloring for this one, so you can do the coloring on your own. You can use any technique to do the coloring. You don't have to stick with the monochrome theme of this project. Continuing on with adding more leaves on this side. You don't have to stick with the monochrome theme for this class. You can make it colorful and more vibrant using colored watercolor or breast paints or whatever you want. I'm also wearing the sides of the leaves a little bit. And with this, we are done with the right side. If required, I'll be adding a little bit of more leaves. But for now for now, let me show you how I'll be doing the lower section. So I'll be creating this kind of simple variations of the flower, hot like sap of the flower. To make it a little bit more simpler, you can create four or five petals flower like we have created for all the project. Or if you want to keep it more simpler, you don't have to even create the flowers. You can only create the leaves and the plants. I'm also changing the orientations of the flowers a little bit, so some of the flowers will be turning towards the right, others on the left. But mostly all the flowers will be facing towards the front. Let's add a few more flowers in here. You can add as many flowers as you want. Just don't oversaturate it. Otherwise, it will become a little bit more difficult for you to add leaves and plants later on, a small flower in here, facing towards the right. I'll be creating smaller flower buds like this. These are not that detailed, but I'll be adding multiple ones like this for most of the section in between the flowers. In here, I'm keeping the size of the flowers a little bit similar. If you want to valid that to, you can do that. You can make some of them quite larger, others quite smaller. Apart from this flower, you can also four or five petals flower, the easier ones of the flower. And you can also include other variations of the flower. So instead of creating only a single flower, you can create multiple variations or multiple types of the flowers. Let's create a few more flour in here. For the lower region, I won't be creating that much flour. Mostly we'll be completely filling it with the hatching lines. Apart from the plants and leaves, I'll also be creating few smaller stones in the rocks at the base. And with these, I'm satisfied with the number of the flowers. Let's create the stems for the flower buds and then we'll be creating leaves. I'll be starting with the smaller leaves at the top. And as I progress, I'll be increasing the size of the leaf a little bit. I'll also be adding a little bit of variations to the leaf. Just using this kind of wet broken lime to add the stems to the flower and the flower buds. I'm not creating that much detailed or defined versins of the stems, since most of it will be covered by the leave. Now, let's create as simple variations of the leaves like this. The kind of leave that we created for the upper part. And as we progress, I'll be making a little bit of variations to the leaf, too. So for the upper part in here, we have got smaller leaves, and as we progress, we'll be increasing the size and the numbers of the leaf. You can add as many leaves as you want. You can. You can play with the seeds and the sages, as well as the placement for the leaf. You can also include other varieties of the leaves in the plants. You can also include potted plant for some of the sections. You can also include potted plants in the front. And as you can see in here, I'm increasing the size of the leaves a little bit. For the bottom section, we'll be making them a bit more larger. I'm treating bit smaller leaves near the bids, flower buds and for the flowers, a little bit larger leaves in here for this mindle section. Add more leaves wherever you think it's required for the empty species in between, you can add smaller leaves. You don't have to worry about the background. We'll be completely filling it with the hatching lines, so continuing on with adding more leaves in here. Another variations of leaves like this for the lower half and for the bottom section, we'll be making the leaves a little bit smaller for some of the section, but mostly in this kind of leaf. Let's add more leave in here. Per part in here looks a little bit empty. So later on, I'll also be adding a few more leaves at the upper part. Adding more leaves here and there. Right now, I'm adding multiple smaller leaves in between the empty spaces, moving on to the right side and creating a few more examples of larger leaf. Let's add a few more leaves in here. Moving back to the bottom section in here and yeah, creating multiple leaves, but larger leaves in here. This is going to take a little bit more time since we have got more areas to feed, and we'll be doing hatching lines to create the background for the flowers, flowers and the plants in here. Adding one more flower in here for this empty region, smaller leaves in between. Now, let's feel this region, the right side in here. If you want, you can add more leaves or flowers in here for this side. Instead of that, I decided to create smaller leaves. Now, adding the leaves in here for this side. As for the bottom section in here, I'll be decreasing the size of the leaves a little bit. Instead of that, if you want, you can create more larger leave if you prefer that. Let's cover this region with multiple leaves, making it a little bit more denser. So now I'm just adding the more leaves wherever there is a lot of empty spices in between. Now, creating multiple stems, but thicker stems for the remaining section in here for the bottom part. It's a little bit slanted like this, so we have got more flowers and plants on the bottom left corner, but on the right side, we have got fever. So let's try to balance it a little bit. Okay. Adding more smaller leaves in between. Now, as I was mentioning, for the empty spaces in between, I'll be doing the hatching line. So simple hatching line this so simple hatching line for the entire section. Since this region was a little bit slanted, I decided to add few more leaves in here, but smaller leaves. In here for the bottom section, apart from the hatching, I'll also be doing a little bit of seeding by adding multiple rows of the hatching lines to make it a bit more darker. But I'll be doing it later on for now continuing on with adding more smaller leaves in between the plants and doing a little bit of hatching lines in here for the background. For now, I'll only be adding the hatching line for the background. And for some of the regions, if there is a lot of empty spaces, I'll be adding few smaller leaves. But mostly I'll be creating this kind of hatching line. If you want, you can also do a little bit of seeding with hatching lines. Mostly, I'll be doing a little bit of sading for the bottom section to make it a bit more darker. To make it a little bit more darker, we can also do a little bit of cross hatching that will take a little bit of time, but the result will be a little bit more darker. Or if you are going to do the coloring in other manner, you don't have to use this kind of hatching lines for the background and here. You can directly start with the coloring. Whether you are going to make it a monochrome project or colorful project. You can use darker sides of the color to do the coloring for the background. In that case, you don't have to use the hatching line to feel line da section of the background. Like in here, I'm doing. In here, I have not added the veins for the leaves. That will make it a little bit more chaotic. I won't be adding the veins for the leaves in here. But if you want, you can do that, too. It will take a little bit of more time. You can do that. You can also make the flowers a little bit more detail by adding few streaks coming out from the centers. As I was mentioning, doing a little bit of seeding in here for the base to make it a little bit more darker. Extending the side of the hatching line in here for the side a little bit more to make it a little bit more balanced. Continuing on with adding more hatching lines for the remaining section. Small hatching lines in between the leaves to act as the background. In here, too, we have got lots of empty spaces in between, so adding simple small hatching lines in between the flowered leaves and the plant. We defining the seeds of the leaves a little bit to make it a bit more distinct, moving to our ghost. Going over the outline for its eyes, making the folds a little bit more distinct, adding a few more folds to make it a little bit more texture. I decided to do the coloring for the ghost eyes too. You can create the ghost eye in any manner as you see fit. He In here for the bottom section, as I was mentioning, I'll be creating multiple smaller rocks and smaller grass. So simple oval seeps like this, add more lines to make it a little bit textured. And besides this, we'll be creating simple small grasses. You can add as many rocks as you want, or you can cover the entire surface with the hatching lines and do a little bit of shading to make it more darker. Simple lines like this to create the resemblance of small grasses beside the rocks and the stones that we have added in here. This is optional. If you don't want to do this, you can just keep it as it is. You can make it a little bit more denser by adding more rocks and more stones and more grasses, making some of the grass a little bit more darker by adding more hatching lines. Adding a few more rocks, smaller rocks. And with these we are done with maize. Adding few leaves in here on top of the ghost cloth. And as I was mentioning, I decided to add few more leaves in here to this region to make it a bit more balanced. So we have got plants on both the sides of the ghost head, adding few more plants in here and there. So these are just additional details that I am doing right now. If you're satisfied with your project, you don't have to do this. And in here, as I was mentioning to sow the cydose casted by the larger leaves. So once again, in here, I'm using a little bit of hatching lines to make this region a little bit comparatively darker. You can also do a little bit of hatching in here to make some of the regions bit darker. So that's all for this project, you can do the coloring on your own. 24. Class conclusion : Congratulations on completing haunted botanicals a seven monochromatic ghost challenge. By now, you have created seven unique ghost illustration, each with its own unique botanical settings and personality, and that's a very big achievement. In this class, we focused on simple sieves, expressive inkwor and monochromatic techniques like hatching, crosshatching, stepling and scribbling to create depth and mood without using any color.
