1. 01 Introduction: Thank you for taking this class. This class, I will be teaching you how to make a gourmet popcorn. The flavor of our popcorn will be apple pie. First, I'll teach you how to measure out the ingredients. Nest, I will teach you how to combine the ingredients to make a delicious apple pie Popcorn. Popcorn is great to share with your family or to give as a gift. I am a self-taught beaker. Many years ago, I opened up my own home, bakery. I had this business for several years until my husband got a job offer in New York City. We felt like this was a good MOOC for us. And so I close down my homepage and we moved across the country to New York City. Now here in New York, I do not want to go through the steps to open up another home bakery. I still love baking, creating, and teaching. So I decided to share my skills with you on Skillshare. In this class, I am showing you how to make type of gourmet popcorn. I used to make gourmet popcorn, often to sell at farmers markets and add a Dickens Festival. This class is aimed at the baker that we'd like to learn how to make a gourmet popcorn. I am excited to teach you the skills taught in this class. Hey Bob, to lesson number one, preparing the ingredients. 2. 02 Preparing The Ingredients: We are ready to start preparing the ingredients that we will need for our apple pie popcorn. The first thing we need to do to the popcorn, like a hot air pump, because they're not adding extra fat to my popcorn. Hot air Popper has, which is my measurement for the pumpkin ongoing. Azure. My coin into there, and m. So my hot air Popper. I'm then going to put that top then plugging in my hot air proper so it can start pumping. Going to take a minute for the capture discharge coming out. And we're going to get N terminal. That's okay because we will be measuring and picking out the end caps kernels for our posture. We're starting to see that some tone also starting to pop as it's going to occur and then spill over into the boat. Right? Any key to Intel, we just give up. I'm talking and I like to start the flow when that side starts with the soil so that I get a more even distribution in my bowl. We want it, turn the pop quiz. You'll, occasionally one still pops. And we're now ready to start a measuring. I don't know yet if I stop my 12 cups here, but I have enough to start. I have my ball here though, I'm going to measure the 12 cups into. And I want to be somewhat careful popcorn in here because I don't want any and pop kernels. So there I have one. And I'm just going to continue until I get to 12 cups, which is what my recipe calls for it. So we will be back. When we get to 12 cups. I add 10 cups right now. And I can tell I don't have two cups left here. So I'm going to pop some more. Now I want to pick nearly as much as I did last time because I only need two cups. So I mainly just going to fill that bottom. Instead of filling it all the way up. Again, I want to point it out in there. Click it in, and we'll pop this popcorn. Now, when copper is already warm for the first time. So it's not going to take this long before start crafting a posture. You can see again, it's starting point. We only need to get back to kind of challenges. Lastly, less than two cups, which is still some left in there. You can see that that pops a vast I'm pretty sure we had two. I'm going to bring this one. And my last two cups of popcorn. And I want it. Okay, because I wanna make sure you don't get any M pop kernels. And there's 11 and 12. So I have a little bit of leftover and that's okay. This is the popcorn we're going to need. We're going to measure out our freeze-dried or dried apples. I need 1.5 cups. And this you have to be exact, but we want basically that amount. So I'm just going to doubt. And 1.5 cup in there. I want these to be finer or smaller than they are. So I just put them in this bag. I don't want to use a food processor because I still wanted to be chunks, not pattern. So I'm just going to press the subparts, make them smaller. Let's see if I can zoom in a little bit. So you can kind of see the size I'm making me. Just keep going till I see that all the size that I want. Val the alcohol is red when you're buying an apple spice. And then you would just need to measure out the two teaspoons. Personally, because I have all the spices in my cupboard, would prefer to just measure out to individuals. I'm going to do one teaspoon of cinnamon, a half teaspoon of all spies, and a half a teaspoon of nutmeg. Now, I just want to stir these together. And there I have my apple spice. The last thing I'm going to measure, my better for the better I need two tablespoons of better. When you see the markings for one or two tablespoons. So I kept this, I'm gonna just kinda square and then remove the paper, cut that down. And then I'm going to cut this into little chunks like this. So it will melt faster and put it in this bowl. I'm now going to take this over to the microwave and do like 15 second increments, tell it's melted. And we will be ready to put our popcorn together. 3. 03 Making The Popcorn: All of our ingredients are now prepared and ready for making popcorn. Let me show you just how easy it is to make the popcorn. I have my big ball here because I'm going to need this size to mix it all up. I'm just going to dump corneum. Then I'm going to take that I chopped down to it. And then I want to take my seasoning and sprinkle it on top. We want to add is our better, are better is going to be the glue that gets the seasoning to stick to the popcorn. So I don't want it in one Bob. I want to take it all the way around, spreading it around. Then I'm going to write it with this linear system. Let's check and see how it looks pretty good. I see a lot of Apple over here though. I'm going to do just a little bit more Shakespeare sonnets to the one I forgot over this. We're going to check and see again. Let me try to woo minds. We have apple pie. Very good. You noticed how easy it was. Go ahead and make your own. Today. It makes a great family tree. You can put them in little bags or containers and give them as gifts. For friends or coworkers will love it. 4. 04 Final Thoughts: Thank you for taking this class on apple pie, gourmet popcorn. In this class, we learned how to make a delicious burger made popcorn. We learned how to prepare the ingredients by popped popcorn, chopping apples, melting the butter, and combining the spices. We learned how to combine the ingredients to make our apple pie, pumpkin. I hope your popcorn turned out the way you wanted it to. Your project for this class is to make our pyplot quick. Please post a picture of it on our project page and tell us how it went from my kitchen to your kitchen. Happy poppy.
