1. Introduction : Planters are something that you must incorporate in your houses. This class will teach you all about how to create beautiful artistic jars in which you can place your indoor plants. Even you can use it as a pen Stand, in a very creative manner. These jars are very easy to make with minimum materials being required. Hello guys, I'm Rutvik patel , a self-taught independent artist based in Gujarat, India. You can find most of my art works being displayed on Instagram page which I run is known as sheetraj artisans. In this class, there'll be learning all about what materials are being used, how to start and execute the entire project. And we'll be having brief tutorials for you and you can make your jars very easy. The class is divided into several short videos which you can watch according to your convenience. Every individual class is recorded in real time frame so that you can understand everything properly. I hope you would love to see my artwork and creativity to the skillshare journey, I had started recently. Thank you. Let's get started. 2. Materials required : For this class, we'll be needing certain materials which are easily available. If you are missing on any particular material, you can get it easily from any nearby local stationery. Now I will be giving you a basic brief about the materials being used. So the first one is a round brush size 11 from camel. The second one is again a round brush upsides too. From camel. 00:00:24.690 --> 00:00:26.970 It's not compulsory to use the same. you can have any other good alternative option. Then we have a black acrylic color. You will easily find this in a smaller bottle as well. For painting the base of the Jar, we need white acrylic chalk, which gives you a matte finish. You can also use our simple white acrylic color as well. It's not mandatory to use the same. Then we have a simple medium-sized glass jar on which we will be walking. It's a transparent glass, jar you can easily get it from any local shop. Now, this is a jute ribbon for the decorating the jar. You will find this from any nearby stationarity. And it looks very much the unnatural. Then we have a sponge, which we will be using to paint the base of the job. A simple colour palette for pouring colors. You can use any color palette according to your convenience. I'll be also using a small ceramic palette. So these are all the materials you will need for the project. At the end, I will give you some additional ideas to make your jars even more beautiful. 3. Base coloring: So we'll be starting with providing the base color to the jar for which we are using acrylic white chalk color. Now simply pour some color to the palette. Use the sponge to get some color on it. As I mentioned it in the materials required section. You can even use white acrylic color if you are missing one white acrylic chalk colors. Now you can just simply start coloring by gently applying this bunch onto the surface. No need to hurry. You can slowly apply the color by pushing the sponge gently. Make sure you do not leave any space by applying the color onto the jar surface. No need to put a lot of color onto your sponge. In one go. You can take less color and apply it to a larger surface. Then when you view that the color is not applying on the jar, you can take some more color into the sponge. Now we can observe how nice the opaque white colour looks. Once you are done with the entire suface of the glass top and the bottom portion, are left. Again, repeat the same process and start applying the color. Now you can observe that the neck portion of the glass jar has some irregular surface which cannot be painted easily. So here's a trick. use the edge on the sponge to reach the difficult areas where the plane surface of the sponge cannot reach. If you find any difficulty in holding the jar while painting, you can simply put your hand inside the open area of the glass jar to have a better grip. Vine applying this bunch. Once you are done covering the entire jar surface, you can check whether there isn't any portion left on the glass surface. If you find it fully covered, will have to let it dry for at least 10 to 15 minutes so that the cell phase gets absolutely dry. Then we are good to go for drawing the picture. I hope this class would have been really helpful to you. 4. Drawing the picture: Now we will be learning how to draw the animal impression onto the white jar, ticker symbol benzyl, which ever even have. And Degas look at the left portion of the screen, which is a reference image of the animal impression which we are going to draw. It's basically a deer with horns on the top Now you can slowly start drawing the picture. the image is taken from a website known as pixabay It's a copy right website. You can also take any other animals impression it's not mandatory to use the same. Now for initial phase Use the pencill in a very lighter tone, applied less pressure on it. Because we are drawing a basic rough sketch first, observe the picture and draw slowly. No need to hurry, and it's absolutely fine. If you do not draw exactly the same as shown in the image, when you find your sketch perfect and well in praportion. Also in the center of the jar surface, you can start to dark your rough, lighter lines. No need to worry. If you have scribbling they will not be visible once you apply the paint onto the impression. As you can see, we have somehow achieved a nice drawing of impression. Diego dine and draw with patients because it is a curved surface. Let's proceed to the next part, which is painting the impression. 5. Painting the picture: We have almost finished 50 percent of the project. Now without further delay, let's paint the animal impression which we drew. So here I have a simple ceramic palette in which I have taken some black acrylic color. Since we are painting a smaller area, I would suggest take less amount of color, spray some water onto the black acrylic color to loosen it up so that we can easily apply it on the impression. use round brush of size two and put some color on it. Now slowly start to apply the paint to the animal impression. I would suggest that start to paint from the top portion so that your hand will not spread the color F applied on the bottom first. You do not need to hurry up, try to paint slowly and with a steady hand. Saw that you do not make any mistake while painting in. Make sure that you applied the black acrylic in and even dawn and do not leave any portion while painting. The outline, mode and distortion fleet that all your pencils grumbling me vanished. Now let's get onto the declaration bad. And I hope this video was helpful. 6. Tying the final knot: So we are about to finish the jar. Finally, let me take you to the last step which is tying the knot onto the neck of the jar, which makes it really elegant and yet creative. Here is a simple jute ribbon that you can find easily from any nearby art stored. its not at all expensive And the ribbon gives a natural and earthy look to your jars. Okay, So let's take one end of the ribbon carefully. Start from one end on the job. Make sure you get some extra been muscle covering the jar so that you can tie a knot in the end. Now slowly dig for W1 to the neck portion. You can take number of tons according to your wish. I'm taking four done so that it's nicely visit but often the last time, again leave some extra inhibin and contact with scissors. Not only have extra live in bonds, one in the stock and running the end. Deg mode and apart and diet up to a nice little leg giving it a non assembly from your thing goes. Please double in the center and don't forget to tidy it up. You can cut the extant BOD from the MOOC. Finally, we are done with the DOD, and I'm very much happy to share my creativity with you. All. The finite run-up looks beautiful. Do enhance the beauty even more. Do watch the one of ideas. I'm sure you will love it. 7. Bonus ideas: Hello everyone. So you are most welcome to the bonus ideas. Don't make your job even more attractive and aesthetic. Here it is the first idea. Everyone knows about widows. If not, these are tiny little particles which simply sparkles and looks beautiful when exposed to light. You can find letter from any local art store easily, also in different colors. So I'm using a golden glitter to mg is the beauty of non-black animal impression. Simply date some glitter with your fingers and put it on the black portion. Now, the second idea is to give shine to the judge and the animal impression. We haven't Golden dust, which you can find it from any local art store. And Angus market. It is a bounded as dust which gives nice shine to the surface. Simply the exam does to your fingers. And that would do the Jazz, had faith and do an animal immigration. And now finally, you are good to go and use your jazz in whatever manner you want to. You can decorate your houses. You can give it to your friends. You can see how beautiful this particle and the dust it looks on the face. You can use the just to put some many indoor plants on. You can put your stationary and use it as a stamp. And I hope my project was helpful to you. 8. Final thoughts: This is my first class, and I hope it helps you in creating your art pieces as well. I'm very much excited to see your projects into the project gallery. If you have any queries are doubts about anything in the glass. Feel free to ask it in the discussion injection.
