Together, we'll walk through the full process step by step, from setting up your canvas and using guides to building a strong layout with rectangles and shapes. You'll learn how to structure five organized sections, add a well style text with proper hierarchy and incorporate icons that support your messes. We'll explore color choices, spacing, grouping, and alignment, so your final infographic looks polished and professional. By the end of this class, you'll be able to create a visually balanced design that communicates information clearly and confidently. No advanced design experience is required. Just your creativity and Google drawings. Let's get started and bring your infographic to life. 2. Setting up Your Canvas and adding Basic Text: So now let's go ahead and then use Google Drawings to create a simple infographics. So over here you can see that I am in my Google Drive. So you need to have a Google account for this right here just like this. And then if you were to type in drag.google.com, then you get access to your Google Drive. So now, in order to create a new Google drawing file right here in a folder of your selection, you can click on New R here, and then you can go to more. And then over here, you can see that Google Drawings is an option. This is one way to create a new Google drawing document. Or what you can also do is you can go around onto, let's say, for example, any tab and simply type in drawing google.com as well. So as long as you are signed in onto your Google account, you will have access to this here. So you can go ahead and do it either way. Now what I'm going to do now is add in a name for our file. Let's say, for example, I'm going to go around and say productivity tips right here. So we are going to go ahead and make a simple infographics on productivity tips where we list out the points on how we can actually go ahead and improve productivity in your workplace. So the first thing we did is we created out of file t here just like this. Let me just go around and close the dry dab rot here. Because we don't need that anymore. So now what we need to do is we need to set up our canvas. So we do have a canvas here. We can go ahead and click and drag to resize it out as we want, but we want a particular size of the canvas. So to do that, I can go around over here on to fill and then go to Pase setup. And here you can see that I can actually go ahead and choose the canvas size as I want. I can choose the custom size and define out the ins myself as well, just like this. Like, let's say, for example, I can select six Pi four, press Apply, and then what happens is that the size is set. Or what you can actually do is go around onto Pase setup. So let's 16 by nine, which is the standard widescreen format. This is what we want. Let's say, for example. So now what you can actually do is you can actually start grabbing out shapes right here and you can start drawing. But it's not a good idea to directly start drawing like this. Let me just go ahead and press the delete key to go ahead and delete it out. So another thing that you may want to do is set out alignments, and to go ahead and set out alignments, you can go around over here onto view and then actually go to guides right here and show the guides. So once you do that, you get this guide right here, as you can see, and you can use these out right here to go ahead and make sure there is correct placement of objects. So you can go onto the left side, click and drag this out here for more guide as well, just like this. You can grab from the top as well over here. Then you can go ahead and click and drag up the guide wherever you want right here just like this and then utilize this as a reference point in order to go ahead and then add in your content. So if I were to actually go around over here, you can see under view, you will be able to go ahead and see uh, the Snap two as well. So now you can see that there's the Snap two. I can go ahead onto guides here. So if Snap two guides are turned on, then what you can also do now is you can actually go ahead and then bring in saps. And it snaps right here, as you can see, you get the red mark rot here, which is actually showing for snapping and you can utilize this to go ahead and place out objects in, um um, a specific location, a rat here, which looks very balanced as well. So now what we actually need to do is we need to start designing. And first of all, what I want to do is I want to go ahead and add in the text that I want to display in the productivity tips. So I'm going to go around over here, and right now I don't want the guidelines. So I'm just going to go around and hide the guidelines by going around over here on to sow guidelines and unchecking it. So now what I'm simply going to do is I'm going to insert our text boxes let me just go ahead and click and drag this out. So I'm just going to go around and see, let's say, for example, productivity tips for wet here, just like this. So I can go ahead and let's say, for example, add in this text here. So if I were to go ahead and click and drag it, you can see that I can snap it right over here onto the place as well. We are going to work around with the design and everything, but later down in other lessons. So first of all, I just want to go ahead. And get the content out of the place. I'm just going to go around over here and select this and I'm going to press Control C and Control V to duplicate this exact text here. Now what I'm going to do is I'm going to go ahead and add in other points, I'm going to say prioritize your prioritize important tasks. Let's say, for example, this is what I want to show. You can see that it is actually overflowing onto the next line, but I can simply resize the textbox. You can see that there is a spelling correction as well, which it provides, so I can simply select it in order to go ahead here and correct it out. So similarly, I want to list down five points. So I'm just going to go around over here and select this, press Control C and V, right here, press Control C and V, right here, just like this again, press Control C and V, right here. I'm not going to worry about how it looks right now. I just want to go ahead and keep the text. So this is what you have now. So I'm just going to go around over here and type in minimize here, minimize the extraction. So this is what I want to do. And then I'm going to say use, let's say, for example, digital tools effectively. So this is what I want right here. And I'm going to go around and say plan short breaks right here, just like this. And then I'm going to go around over here and say review progress daily right here, just like this. So this is what I want. So productivity tips at work, and then I got my five points laid out. So as we actually go ahead, through the lessons, we are going to go ahead now and arrange all of this in a proper way and then turn it into a visual infographics. So now the next step is to go ahead and create out shapes and then place them where we want to. 3. Creating the Structure using Guide and Rectangles: Now that we have our text ready, it's time to go ahead and create the structure for our design. So for that, I'm going to go ahead and utilize a shape a rectangular shape rat here. So I need a space to go ahead and keep five of these text rat here. So for that, I'm going to go ahead and create, let's say, a rectangular shape rat here. So now what I'm going to do is I'm going to go ahead and copy out this rectangle right here and place it right here in five places. I'm just going to keep one over here. I'm going to press Control C and keep one around over here. And you can see that as I move this rectangle, it actually snaps onto place indicating that this particular rectangle is a line, so I can go ahead and do this. Let me just go ahead and press Control C and right here, bring one down around over here and one around over here as well, just like this. So you can see that visually, they seem to be together. I can go ahead and hold sift on my keyboard to go ahead and select these rectangles and pull this up as well. I can even go ahead and resize this out together. So now why I'm resizing this is I want another rectangle over here on the bottom. So let's press Control C and here, and then I'm going to go ahead and keep one long rectangle in the bottom here to add in our fifth text. So let's just go ahead. Then go ahead and resize this out, as well. So this is what I have, and now what I want to do now is work around with the spacing. So I want this rectangle to be here. Let's say, for example, this rectangle to be here and so forth. But to be really sure about the spacing, it's a good idea to bring in guides. So to do that, I'm going to go around over here onto view, and I'm going to go around over here onto guides and show the guides. So this is the guides that we have. So I'm just going to go ahead and re arrange out the guides that we have right here. So you can see that over here, you can see that the guide is in zero, and as I bring in, it's right around 0.36. Let's just go ahead and go for 0.25 right here from the left and then use that as a reference. So I want the objects to snap in the guide rot here, so I'm just going to go ahead and make sure that I can go around over here onto view, and then you can see that this is what you have, and snap two guides is ten on. So now I'm going to go ahead and drag the other guide rat here right onto the top rote. So now this is a reference here. So I'm using 0.25 points right here as spacing. So you can see that this is ten, so I just need to go ahead and decrease 0.25 rot here, which is 9.75 rot here. So now I can simply utilize this as a reference point and then drag this down here. So you can see that now it is well aligned here. When you well align it, you can see that the left side here is a bit smaller than the right hand side, and you can see that this is the centermost area rot here. So I can go ahead and snap it onto five here. So it seems like the guide were off and you can see that this is there. So apart from that, however, I can go around over here and you can see that it says five, so I'm just going to go around over here and go for 4.75 here, just like this. So I can go around over here, drag it to 4.75, and then I'm going to go around and drag it right here into 5.25. So this is what I have. Now let me just go ahead and delete off the other shapes that I have, and I can simply go ahead and snap it onto the place here, just like this. So similarly, let's say, I want to have equal amount of spacing around on the bottom, as well. So for that, I'm going to go ahead and drag out, let's say, for example, a line right here, just like this. And I want it to be, let's say, for example, in an easy area. 2.5 is easy to calculate. So let's just go around right here. And then change around the size of it right here. So now for the spacing, I want 0.25 amount of spacing, so it's 2.75 here. So I'm just going to go around over here, 2.75 rat here. So now I can simply go ahead and copy and paste this and keep it right here, just like this, as you can see, so you can see that now I can line out the shapes rat here as per the guidelines. I can press Control C and V again and drag it around over here just like this as well. I'm going to do the same right here as well, so you can see that this is 4.31 right here now. So if I were to go around over here, you can see that I got the grid lines right here. Let me just press Control jet right here and bring in this guideline itself. So it's supposed to be 4.25 as well. So you can see that this guideline right here, it's in 2.75 right here. So this one right is in 0.94, which is a problem because, like, it's not easy to calculate. So let's just go around, keep it right at one. Let's say, for example, so it's much more easier. So let's just go around over here onto one, it snaps onto place. Let's just go around over here is 2.55 right here, just like this. And then I'm going to go around and go for, let's say, for example, right here around let's say, for example, 2.75, so I'm just going to go around and then keep that. So 2.55 still seems hard, so 25 here. So let's just go ahead and delete these out right here. So it does take a few tries, as you can see right here in order for it to be quite perfect right here. But if it is perfect, then what happens is that the design will look wonderful. So you can see that this is what you have, so 2.75 is here, so I can simply go ahead and copy, paste this out. And you can see that now it's the range right here. So it's 4.26 right here. It's 2.75 right here just like this. And then you can go ahead and then go for 4.25, let's say, for example, and resize it out as it is necessary, as well. So let's just go around over here, and then I'm going to go ahead and snap it onto the place. So this is what you have, as you can see, and I can go ahead and bring in this as well. I'm going to go ahead right here, so I can go ahead and add in, let's say, for example, another line right here of the equal gap rot here. And over here on the bottom now, I can go ahead and then copy and paste this and resize this out right here. Resize the sap, that is. So let's just go around over here. And the final text rot here is going to be on the bottom. So this is what I'm going to do. I'm going to go ahead and then drag out the shape rot here. So let's just go around over here, drag out the shape here. Slide this from both of the side, go round over here, drag out over here on the top. And then this is what you have. So now what we are simply doing is we are adding the rectangular blocks right here in order to make the layout only. We're simply using about the reference. So we are using the guides right here as alignment, so you can go ahead and drag this in. Don't worry. It does not always need to be perfect. It just needs to look aligned right here. The text is on the back, but don't worry about it. You can simply go around over here. And right click and change the order to bring the text in the front here, just like this. So let's just do that quickly. So I'm going to hold Sift on my keyboard, select out all the text, and I'm going to go ahead here. So just like this, I can go ahead right here, select out the text. Let's say, for example, right click ans the order and bring to front R and now this text is going to be here. Let's say, for example, this text is going to be here, this text right here. So I accidentally grab the guide. So let's just go around over here, this text right here. So I accidentally grab the line again. I can go ahead and drag this in right here and push this text around over here. So this is what we have now and we got the five sexton blocks. And now, as we go ahead and move along, we're going to go ahead and refine our text, get the design as we want, and add in, um, like saps as we want to make it more interesting and more attractive. 4. Adding and Adjusting Section Text: Now that we have our basic structure ready, let's just go ahead and work around with the text that we have right here. So over here on the top, you can see that we have the title of the text. So now, what I want to do is, let's say, for example, increase the size of the text rat here just like this. But this is too big. Let's just go around over here, select out let's say, for example, 24 rot here. And I'm going to go ahead and drag this textbox over here onto the and onto the right here. And let me just drag this out right here so that I can place it somewhere around over here, just like this. So now I want this text right here to be on the center. So I'm going to go around over here onto a line and select center right here. So now, this is what you have as you can see. I'm going to go around over here and let's say, for example, increase out the text size right here, just like this, and then I'm going to go ahead and select this out right here and maybe change the font light right here to impact which is much more bold. So now what I want to do is I want to add in a color. Let's say, for example, I'm going to go around and use an office friendly blue for this. So for that, I'm going to go to the text right here and select out, let's say, this particular color here, and that is what you have. Similarly, now I got all of these texts here, and I want these texts to be in a similar location. So what I'm going to do now is I'm going to go around over here and let's say for example, drag it in here, and you can see that it actually takes the shape as reference and then aligns it to the center. I'm going to go ahead and click and drag this up right here, just like this, here and do the same here for this text as well. I'm just going to go around and make sure this is right on the center line right here, just like this. You can see that this is on the center as well. Let's just go around over here and click and drag this particular texts well right here and I'm going to go ahead and drag this particular text here, just like this as well. Now I'm going to go ahead and hold sift and select all of them, including the bottom one, and I'm going put it on the center. So let's just go around over here and drag this onto the left and drag this onto the right, as well. So you can see that it is on the center. For this one as well, you can see that I have this textbox, so you can see that this is on the center. I'm also going to make sure that it's in the middle from the box. So I'm just going to drag this on the top here, drag this to the bottom until this box, and you can see that it takes it as a reference and then stays in right on the center. I'm going to select all of these text boxes right here just like this and make sure that they are in the center as well. So now if I were to go ahead and let's say for example, resize this here, if I were to go ahead and resize, let's say, for example, this one, and I'm going to resize this one. I'm going to go ahead and resize these ones right here and you can see that now what happens is that they all now come to the center. I can go ahead and click and drag this out and this one here as well. So now I'm going to hold Sift and select out all of these now, and now I'm going to go ahead and select out another text for it. Let's say, for example, I'm going to select OswellRt here and I'm going to select medium for this one. And now I'm going to select the similar color here. I'm going to select out, let's say, for example, dark blue right here, just like this. So this is what you have right here. So you can see that now we have, let's say, a proper title right here, just like this. And then you can see that we have, let's say, for example, text boxes with everything aligned over here in the center. So this is what you have and we have used the consistent font size and the style right here, just like this. And we have the placement ready now. And now the next step is to go ahead. And then work around with the visuals. And we want to go ahead and add in some relevant icons right here, which actually reflect out what you actually see right here in the text and also go ahead and then utilize some visual method to go ahead and add in some details. 5. Adding Icons and Visuals: Now that we have our text ready, let's just go ahead and add in our graphics. So we're going to go ahead and add in some icons that are actually relevant here. So one of the things that you can actually go ahead and do is, let's say, for example, insert out an image that you have. So to do that, you can go around over here onto Insert and then what you can do is go over here onto Image and then upload it out from your computer. So here you can see that I have an image, so I can simply go ahead and click on open, and this image is simply inserted. You can go ahead and resize it right here and place it wherever you want. So this is what I have, as you can see. I'm just going to go ahead and resize it. You can even click and drag to flip it out right here. And place it wherever you want, just like this. So now, this is the image that I have. Similarly, I want to go ahead and add in different images for these particular points as well. So for that, I'm going to go around over here and insert out image, but in this case, I'm going to go ahead and search the web for it. Let's say, for example. So I'm going to go ahead and insert on the web, and I'm going to go around and let's say, for example, say something like list. As I do that, you can see different sort of list here. So I'm going to say icon here, just like this. So I get List icon here. So I can go ahead and choose an icon that I want right here and then click on Insert, and you can see that this is what I have br here. I got the List icon right here as I want, which I can simply go ahead and keep it as I wish just like this. Similarly, you can see that I got distraction. So let's say I want to insert something like a bell icon for even go ahead and inset out your drive pixes or even pictures that you have in your photos right here as well. I'm just going to go ahead inset on the web. And let's say, for example, bell right here, just like this. So I'm simply going to go around and say bell icon right here. So I'm just going to go around over here and insert out the bell icon that I have, which is not actually a transparent image, but I'm simply going to go ahead and work around with it later on, right here. So you can see it says bell. So I want to say bell with no distractions, so I can simply go ahead and take the line tool right here. And then I can go ahead right here and drag it out. So let's just go around over here and drag out a line right here, and this is what you have, so I can simply go ahead and drag the line on top to see no. Let's say, for example, distractions right here, that is no notification icon. So over here, you can see that there's distal tool. So let's say I want a laptop for this. So for that, I'm going to go around over here says for web, and this is going to be a laptop icon right here just like this. So let's just go ahead and choose one right here. And then I'm going to go ahead and choose this laptop, click on Inset, and there you go. There's the laptop icon that I have right here, just like this. Apart from that, there's plan short breaks right here. So for that, let's just add in a clock icon. I'm just going to go around over here again and then go around over here onto Inset Imas sets for IMS, and I'm going to say clock icon right here, just like this. So plan short break. So let's just go around over here, click on Inset, and then there you go. So there is the clock icon that I have right here. So now you can see that these are the productivity tips. I have inserted out the icons here like this. And now we need to go ahead and place these icons properly. So I have placed it, but I need to go ahead and make them visually appealing as well and then work around with the different colors as well to make them interesting to look at, as well. And that is exactly what we're going to do in the next video. We're going to work around with the color palette and change the color of the design and even go ahead and then place these icons that we have right here proper 6. Changing Color and Visual Style: Now that we have our graphics and texts in place, let's just work around with the color palette as well. So you can see that I have these boxes as placeholders, but let's just use an interesting shape, let's say, for example, like a rounded rectangle here. So let's go to SAP and then click on the rounded rectangle. I'm going to go ahead and use these saves as a reference to go ahead and drag a shape on top of it right here just like this. So as I were to actually go ahead and do this, this is the shape that I have. So if I were to go ahead right here and let's say, for example, um, go around, I can choose another color that I wish to apply. Let's say, for example, I'm going to go ahead and choose this color right here. So now around over here, you can see that I still got the placeholder. I can simply go ahead and select it and delete it right here. So this is what I have. So I got the placeholder. You can see that I got the text right here. So let's just keep text aside for a while and I can delete out the placeholder right here. So now I can go ahead and realign this up right here just like this. Here, so that it is on the same place. So now I can go ahead and realign it out right here as well. Let me just go ahead and use the guide as a reference point now. So I'm just going to go around over here, show the guide. So this is what we initially had, and let's just go ahead and make sure that the shape fits within that particular guide here. So this is what you have. So now if I were to actually go around right here, I can go ahead and make the line transparent here because that is what I want. So now this is what I have, so I'm just going to go around over here. And then I'm going to select this out right here. And now, what I'm going to do is right click and send the order and choose bring to front. So this is what you have. So if I were to actually go around over here, this is what you have. But I still have the graphics over here in the back. So let's just move this out on the side again. So let's just go around over here and then drag out the graphics right here. Let's say, for example, if I were to go around over here, click and drag this out right here. I'm going to go ahead and bring this to front as well. So just like this, you can see that I have these, let's say, for example, graphics here. So now, let's say, for example, let's just go around over here, and then let's just go around over here and then place it out. So this is what I have. So now I got this graphics as well, but what I'm going to do with it is, let's say, for example, I'm going to go around over here and take a shape rot here. So let's just go around over here and take a shape like a circle. So this can be enclosed within. So this looks are good placements. So let's just go ahead and enclose this within a circle right here, keep it right around over here. I'm not going to go ahead and add in anything, so I'm going to add in a transparency, and I'm going to go ahead and add in a white background. So this is what I have. So now let's just go ahead and then bring this to the front. So bring it to front right here and drag this down right here, and this is what you have. So now you can simply see that I have this as well. So let's just go ahead and drag this particular x rat here right until over here just like this. So now I'm going to add in another guide right here as well as a reference. So you can see that I got another guide. So let's just go ahead and keep it right around to the section so that it snaps into place because I'm going to utilize this as a reference for this as well. So let's just go ahead and drag it right around to the section, and then I'm going to go ahead and grab out this particular shape here, drag it to the bottom right here. Again, so let's just go around press Control X, and then I'm going to go ahead and then bring this to the front press control V t here. And maybe I'm just going to go ahead send this to Bot here, or let's just go around over here, bring forward. So I just want it one step forward, so I'm just going to go ahead and do that. I don't want this tape here anymore, so I'm not going to really worry about that rot here. So now, similarly, let's just go ahead and then I'm going to work around with this. So you can see that this is around 1 " here, just like this, right here. So you can see that this is what you have right here. So let's just go ahead and use the same rot here. So there's one, two, three, four, five, six, six units apart. So I'm just going to go around over here and do the same rot here. So there's one, two, three, four, five, six, six units apart, right here, just like this. So as I were to do this, I can go around over here and then drag this down here. And if I were to go around over here, drag this down around over here as well. So if I were to actually go around over here, press control C and V, I can go around over here just like this spress control CNV, and I can go around and drag this out right here as well. So you can see that I have this. So let's just go around and order this, send to Bro here. Let's just press Control J. What I want to do is, let's say, for example, order and send backward, right here. Let's just go ahead, order, send backward. So let's just go around order, send backward, right here. So you can see that there's a shortcut key, so control right here, control down. So let's just go ahead and then use this rot here to go ahead and then use this right here. So control up and down to go up and down, let's say, for example, indies. So this is what you have, and then you can see that I got this particular S. So let's just go round and click and drag this down right here, and this is what you have. So you got the bell icon and everything. So let's go ahead and just place it right here. So this is what you have. Let's just go ahead and do the same for this. Control down here, and then you can see that you got the clock as well. So this is what you have, as you can see right here. This is go ahead, and now I'm going to go ahead and delete off these two shapes as well. And I'm going to delete off this shape as well. So let's just go around over here. I'm going to drag this down the same way, and I'm going to go ahead and drag this out as well, delete this out. And then I'm going to go ahead and use the same sap right here as the background right here, just like this. Let's just go ahead and resize this out a bit right here so that it fits out the shape right here, just like this. And then I'm going to go ahead and then press Control X and V to bring it to the front, resize it out and place it right over here in the place right here. So this is what you have. And now you can see that I got this place. So let's just go ahead and then resize it. So you can see that it is in the center and everything is Okay, so I'm just going to press Control C and here to this shape and then drag it out right here. So I'm just going to go ahead and keep that shape right here. And then I'm going to go ahead and order this send this to back, and this is what you have. This is press Control C and right here. So let's go round over here, press Control C and V. Place it right around over here on the top, right here. And then I'm going to go ahead and go to order, send to B here, and then let's just go ahead and fill it out with this color. Let's say, for example, I'm going to fill it out with a softer, fill it out with a softer shed of blue here, just like this. Let's just go ahead and press Control C and V, and then I'm going to go ahead and drag this out right here right onto the section, and then I'm going to go ahead and send this to Brot similarly, I want one of the colors right here, so let's just go ahead and use the darker blue here. And then I'm going to go ahead and click and drag it right here, resize this out right here, just like this. And then this is what you have. Click and drag it out, rearrange, and then I'm going to go ahead and send this to back. So you can see that it looks much more nice right here. And much more interesting. You can even go ahead and change this color here as you want, right here, so you can go ahead and select it. And let's say, for example, choose a softer color as you wish as well. So now for the overall background as well, let's say I want another color. So for that, I can simply go around, select a shape, and then I can simply cover up the entire background as well. So let's just go ahead here, click and drag this out, and then I can go ahead and pull this out right here, drag this down right here, just like this. And then I can go around over here on the send to order, send to back, and this is what you have. So now around over here, I'm going to go ahead and choose a gradient, and then you can go ahead and choose a gradient as you wish as well. Let's just go around with a softer color. So you can see that I can go for this type of gradient as well or this type of gradient, so you can go for a softer color. But anyways, I'm going to go for a custom color here, and then I can actually choose, let's say, a lighter shade of blue rat here, and then around over here, I'm going to select just white rat here, just like this, press Okay, and this is what you have. So you can see that you get a much more softer look rate. And now what I'm also going to do is add in borders to these. So I'm going to hold sift and then, let's say, for example, select out all of these rat here. And now I'm going to go ahead and add in a border of a baby four pixels. But I selected the wrong shape. So I'm just going to select this one, this one, this one, and this one here, slide this and select this one as well. And then I'm going to go ahead and select four pixels, let's say, for example, and then I'm going to go around over here, let's say onto the onto the color for and choose maybe, let's say, for example, a softer color rot here. Maybe I want to decrease out, let's say, for example, the color for this as well. So this is what you have. And then if I were to go around over here, let's say, for example, then you can go ahead and choose the color as you wish. You can select a lighter color rot here as well, and this is the design that you get. So you can see that it is looking much more nice. And if I were to go ahead and hide the guides, you can see that you get a much more, let's say, better here. So this is what you have. We chose a simple color palette as you can see, and then we really arrange out the graphics by utilizing the guides here and then even went ahead and adjusted out the color rains as we like. And as we move forward now, we're going to go ahead and follow this even more to make it look more interesting and then finally move towards exporting this out as we want, as well. 7. Arranging Spacing and Policing: So we have our design here. And if I were to click and drag something, you can see that I can easily move them out. Let me just press Control Z rot here. So now to make them, let's say, for example, one shape, I can go ahead and group them out. For example, I can simply go ahead and click and drag out and select this particular shape rot here, just like this. Let me just hold control and then deselect these out right here. So you can go ahead and select out the objects as I like. So you can go ahead rot let's say, for example, this is an object rot here. So let me just go ahead and move this out for a while. I can select this out here, and then you can see that this is another sap behind here, just like this. So let's just go ahead and select that out. So you can see that this is what you have, so let's just go ahead and select this. And now what I can do is I can right click R here and group it out, and you can see that it becomes a single sap. Similarly, now I'm going to go ahead and do the same for the rest. So you can see that I have these. So I can simply go ahead and select this out. I'm simply going to deselect this one. So you can see that it is still being selected rote so I'm just going to go ahead and move this out for a while right here on the right, and then I'm going to go ahead and select this, and I'm going to go ahead and group this right here. So this is what you have. And I'm going to go ahead and select this and group this out as well. And then I'm going to go ahead and select this right here and then group this out as well. So as these are overlapping, you can see that it still goes ahead and select those out as well. So let's just move it to the side, and I'm going to select this, and then I'm going to go ahead and group and then I'm going to go ahead and set this and I'm going to go ahead and group it right here just like this. So this is what you have, as you can see, and if I were to click and drag it, then this is what you have. So now you can see that this is a shape rat here. So this is a sap as well. So you can see that they move together. This one seems like you can see that I can go ahead and click and you can move it. But if I were to double click it, I can still go ahead and make changes to it right here. But you can see that these are single sap and that becomes much more easy to go ahead and manage them. Uh, so apart from that, let's say, for example, if I want to go ahead and distribute out the shapes that I have brought here. So, let's say, if it is not actually up to the marca here with the spacing, then I can go ahead and distribute them out as I like, as well. So for that, I can select the top shape, the bottom saperot here, and the middle shape. And what I can do is I can go around over here onto arrange and then onto distribute and distribute it vertically so that the space between these two saps rot here are arranged out. Same goes for this as well. I can select three of these shapes rot here, arrange it out, and distribute it out vertically right here to make sure that the space in between these particular two shapes rot here are equal, just like that. So that is what you have. Apart from that, you can also go ahead and make the design much more interesting as well. So for that, I can go ahead and let's say, for example, take a line, and then I can go ahead and click and drag the line around over here on the top. Let's say for instance, and then I can go ahead and select it, snap it right onto the place here. So now I'm going to go ahead and select out this color. Let's say, for example, I can go around or take the color sampler right here and choose the color that I want. So I just took the sample of this. So you can see that this is what you have right here, and then I can go ahead and choose the size for this particular line as well. Press Control C and Control V, and then I can go ahead and drag it over here. Bottom as well. So this is what you have. So now I'm simply going to go ahead and then drag this out as well, so you can see that it is on the center, and to make sure all of them are aligned, I'm going to select these three shapes here with the text as well, not align, but distribute vertically right here. So it's right on place. So you can see that already it's starting to look interesting. Let me just press Control C and Control V to get this same shape, and then you can go ahead and let's say, for example, wait it to snap and then bring it on the bottom, as well. To make it interesting. So you can see that the texts we have are actually readable. But what I can actually do is go ahead and select this out rat here and increase out the size if I want to as well to 16. So let's say, for example, I'm going to go ahead and make it 16 as well. Go ahead and make this 16 as well, and even go ahead, make this 16 rot here and go ahead t here, make this 16 as well. So this is what you have. You got the Sprot here now, so I'm just going to go ahead rate. And then drag this a bit to the right right here, just like this. So let's just go ahead right here, keep it right around over there, and this is what you have. So this is how you can go ahead and then work around with the shapes and make sure that everything is balanced. You can group everything around and make sure that it looks good. So now that we have our simple infographics study, it's time for you to export it out so that you can share it with others, and that is what exactly we're going to do in the next lesson. 8. Exporting and Resizing Infographics: So we now have our simple infographics ready, and now we want to go ahead and export it so that we can share it with others. So for that, all you need to do now is go to File Menu and then you need to go around over here on to download. And here you can see that you can download it in four formats. For example, you can download it out as PDF as I did at here. So now, as I were to actually do this, you can see that this is in a PDF format. And while in PDF, no matter how much you zoom in, nothing happens. So you can share this out as a document rate. Or you can also go around over here and download it out as a JPZimaseR here for sharing in social media. So you can see that I have these this R here, this like this so let's just go around over here, and then open it out with a pootoVewer and you can see that I now have this in JPZFmat. If I were to zoom in, you can see some pixelations here. But that is because this is an Image format, pixel based Raster Image format. So apart from that, you also can go ahead and download it out as a PNZ ms here. So as I were to go ahead and click R here, you can see that it is less let's say, for example, you see less artifacts right here because it's P&Z, but you still have pixels in it. But if you truly want scalable vector graphics, let's say, for example, then you can go to Download and choose S Z right here, just like this as well. And then this is what you have. So you can see that this is an SBC graphics rot here. So the size of the graphics is now fixed. So if I were to actually go around over here onto the page setup, you can see it's wide screen, and if I were to go to custom and I can select pixels and apply it out right here. So you can see that this is the pixel that you have. So if I were to go to page setup R here, this is what you have. But what I can also do is I can go ahead and change this out as I one. Let's say, for example, now let me just go ahead and have this in inches or centimeters, right here, or points, as you can see right here. You can simply go ahead and change out the pixels as you want. For example, I can do something like 1,800 by 1,000, let's say, for instance, press Apply, and then you can see that there's a bit of a resizing going on right there, but you increase out the quality. So if I were to go around over here onto page setup, you can even go around over here. And let's say, for example, I can say something like uh, 18,000 by 10,000 right here, then what happens is that you get a really high quality image out of it, just like that. So even if I were to go around over here onto JPZ now, then what happens is that you get a much more higher quality image right here, just like this, by increasing out the size right here, just like this. But if I were to actually go around onto the pay setup and if I were to tans out to an aspect ratio that does not actually work out, you can see that actually squeezes out the image that I have brought here. Let me just press Control Jed because I want to simply get back the design that I have. So if necessary, you can go ahead and resize out the design as well so that you can export it in high quality. So that is how you can simply go ahead and resize and export out your infographics that you made inside of Google drawings. And now, since we have learned everything that you need to know in order to create such infographics, it's your turn to go ahead and create your own in the next video, I'm going to exactly tell you what you have to do for your project. 9. Project Description: As we have come to the end of the lesson and we have learned how to design a clean and effective infographics. And we learn that it starts with careful planning, and we learn how we can turn it into an actual design just like this. So now for the class project, it's your turn to create a five section infographics just like this in Google drawings. So make sure that it has five sections. It can be any tips or it can be anything that is important. Just don't make the productivity tips for the work just like mine. Make something else and make sure you use unique color scheme. You can use something similar to this or something else as well entirely. So what you need to do is apply all of the techniques that we have covered. So begin by setting up your canvas into 1920 by 1080 resolution. So for that, you need to go around onto file and then go to pay setup. So make sure you select custom and then choose pixels here, 1920 by 1080, which is the standard, like a the resolution here. So make sure you do that. And then make sure you turn on the guides as well. So make sure that you actually go ahead right here and show the guides right here and then make a proper, um, guideline here that you can follow so that your design actually look very balanced. So make sure that you go ahead and use rectangles to create five section blocks as we did in the beginning and focus on the placement first, not the colors or anything. Just make sure that they are on the right place. And then what you can do after that is then start adding in the titles with text and maintain the text hierarchy. And once the structure is in place, enhance your design as we did in the course by inserting an icon just like this. Per section right here and apply a simple and consistent color palette. In our case, we have used blue, so you can go ahead and use a combination of two colors or more as you like. So pay attention to spacing and alignment, as well. Make sure that the different objects that you have right here are in certain spacing and alignment and group the objects as we did as well, just like this. Group the objects for easy alignment and make sure to finally export out your infographics as you want. Um, into P&Z, J PZ, or PDF, whatever format that you want, make sure it's PDF, J PZ, or P&Z, not as PC for the project submission. Make sure you go ahead and export it so that you can submit it as the project for this particular class. Optionally, if you want, you may also share an initial screenshot of the project, so I can actually see, like, how you actually started the project as well. So this project, then after you do it, will help you combine lay out text, visual and colors into a cohesive, professional looking design that you can proudly share. So start working, and I can't wait to see what you come up
