1. Introduction: Hi everyone. I'm swimming in my high school academy and welcome to my class. I'm an artist and art educator and a YouTuber. So in this class we are going to learn what is good and $1. So obviously we will start by understanding what is doodle and what is Mandela. I hope that the students who are following me on Skillshare will definitely know what is Mandela up till now. Because on Skillshare, I've uploaded classes related to Mandela, art or new commerce, don't worry, I'm going to explain what is Mandela art in detail in this class as well. But I will definitely tell you that before you start this class, to check out my previous classes so that you will get an idea about Mandela art. And it will be more easy to create lots of doodle Mandela's in this class. So I guess that's it for the introduction. And I'm very good to see you in my first lesson. 2. Materials Required: Hello everyone and welcome to the doodle Mandela class. So first we will understand what is Mandela. Mandela is an ancient meditative art form in which we draw repetitive patterns inside concentric circles, often termed to as sacred geometry. For creating doodle Mandela's, you will need a black pen. You can use any pen. You have a pencil, a protractor, scale. See you in the first lesson. 3. 1. Full Page Doodle Mandala: Hello everyone, I'm Swami and welcome to the first lesson of doodle Mandela class. In the first lesson we are going to create full-page noodle Mandela. So basically we are going to start creating Mandela from one side of the paper. So as you all can see, I'm just creating Mandela patents. But in doodle Mandela's, we don't have any restrictions about creating a particular pattern or a boulder design. We're going to use all their designs, all the patterns which we regularly use in my designs. There is a one difference in creating noodle Mandela's. We create Mandela patterns in a particular element or in a particular shape. So when you start creating doodle Mandela's just keep in mind that you have to keep creating Mandela designs without thinking in a particular way. So when we create a doodle design, we just observe our surroundings and try to create them on paper in the same way here also, we are going to create Mandela designs. Without thinking anything in a particular form. You just have to keep creating and you can see the final results. And it will be really beautiful, As you all can see on the screen right now. Many people think that when we create doodle Mandela's, we have planned these designs. But the thing is that in doodle Mandela, we don't have to plan anything. You just have to go with the flow of your thinking and you have to create Mandela patterns, Mandela designs which we have practiced till now. The people who don't know what is mandela, you can definitely check out my other classes on Skillshare and it will be more easier to create these doodle Mandela designs. So as you all can see, I'm creating some different patterns, which we never create in Mandela designs. I'm creating some uneven patterns as well. Because here we are not creating a circular or a symmetrical Mandela. Instead of that, we are creating a doodle Mandela, in which we have freedom to create any kind of pattern. The audio can see some glimpses of my full-page Mandela as I want you to create a full-page Mandela with all your designs. If you are not able to think new designs or new patterns, you can definitely take reference of my artwork, which you can see on the screen right now. Just keep in mind that when you are creating doodle Mandela's, you have to take more help of floral designs. If you are new to the idea of floral Mandela's, you can definitely check out my floral Mandela class on Skillshare. If you want to create mandalas, if you want to create beautiful artworks, just follow the steps which I'm going to tell you throughout this class. And we have successfully completed our full-page doodle Mandela. You can see how beautiful this looks. I hope you have also created this full page, Mandela with me. And if he has them back to back for this beautiful creation made by you. I will see you in the next lesson. 4. 2. Objects and Shapes: Hello everyone, I'm swimming and welcome to the second lesson of doodle Mandela class. In this lesson, we are going to create and we're going to learn some objects and shapes. So first we will create some shapes, which are square, triangle, and circle. And we are also going to create a rectangle that we are going to use these basic shapes. And we're going to create a doodle Mandela's in each one. First I have taken obviously a square shape. And I'm going to create a boundary inside the square shape and start creating doodle Mandela's between these, both the squares. When you will start creating doodle Mandela's, you will get to know that this looks very similar to a photo frame design. You have to keep in mind that we can create doodle Mandela's any shape we want. This is just a practice to get to know that in which firms, in which objects are in which elements we can create doodle Mandela's. Now, I'm going to create doodle Mandela in a triangle shape here. And I'm not creating a boundary inside the triangle. I'm going to use full space of triangle and create beautiful doodle Mandela patterns. Now we have to create doodle Mandela's. So good shape. So this is really familiar to all of us because we have created lot of Mandela designs in circle. But here you have to be careful that you don't have to be very symmetrical in your shapes. You have to create uneven shapes because we are creating doodle Mandela's. So when I'm creating doodle Mandela in circles, if you have noticed, I first created some patterns. Then I'm filling each pattern. I'm repeating the process of squares ship design for a rectangle shape as well. I'm creating Mandela borders designs. As you can see, I'm creating a pattern which is similar to one another. And I'm using an alternate design pattern. Again, I'm using a lot of small pack dial in it and also taking help of one line and one dot to get more beautiful look. Now we will start creating doodle Mandela's in different objects. First, I'm drawing this gate of a book. As you can see, it's open book. And I've also shown many pages with some lines. First, I'm creating Newton patents on left page. When you will create doodle Mandela's in the specific. You will get to know that the space is very less. But after creating this kind of Mandela's, it's very satisfying to see these objects filled with all the beautiful Mandela designs. Now I'm going to create my favorite cup of tea. I know obviously, I'm going to create some beautiful doodle Mandela's on this cup. I have also created this in real life as well. Once I had a really old cup, but it was my favorite cup. I wanted to give omega over two that gap. So I just printed it with some dark color and created some doodle Mandela like this on that curve. So this Mandela thing is really creative and we can use it in real life as well to give it a megawatt for the old things which we love, but we are not able to throw them up. So it's really helpful to give it a twist to all these things which are old by creating doodle Mandela's on them. Now we will take a niche element which is a tree obviously. Then I'm creating some leaf patterns inside. So in doodle Mandela's, it's not compulsory that you have to use Mandela patterns all the time. You can also use these leaves patents are just lines, basic elements which we use to create only doodle patterns. So here I have used leaf patterns, then adding some black tones. And then I'm going to use $101 element, which is sworn. I'm going to create an outline to the whole tree. Then I'm creating my favorite brush. And again, I'm using sworn pattern, semicircle pattern, creating boundaries inside each semicircle, and also adding one line and one dot. Then finally created a brush head. Again added some black gone. That's how we have used brutal Mandela's in some basic shapes and some beautiful objects. I'll see you in the next lesson. 5. 3. Doodle Words: Hello everyone, I'm Swami and welcome to the third lesson of doodling Mandela class. For today's class, you will need a single line page with a black pen. Today we are going to create some doodle words. I think this is the most exciting part in creating doodles. Because when I was small, I always used to create this kind of doodle designs in each letter. And it was my all-time favorite activity to do in my free time. So here I'm taking three words, which It's really easy to create in doodle Mandela's it and read. So first, obviously we are creating the word arc. Just follow the steps. So first you will create these letters as I have shown, starting with the word art. As I said in our previous classes, when you create a doodle Mandela's specific shape, you will get a little space compared to the other $1 which we create. So you have to be very precise with your artworks and your designs. Again, I'm creating more Florida design Z0. It looks more beautiful and elegant as well. It is also important to keep in mind that what shape or what word you are creating. Here, chosen the word art. So as we all know the meaning of the word are, my designs are more creative than usual. Creating doodle Mandela's, or creating any kind of art. It is not only important that how you are creating those patterns are how you are doing coloring. It is also important to get, to know the meaning of the drawing which you are creating. And that is a really great tip, which I have learned from my teachers as well. The word is it. And I'm using more patterns which are more rounded and also have some leaf patents in it. To create this doodle Mandela's with a lot of ease. You just have to keep practicing. You can use this kind of hex, which I have told in these lessons and reach. We're going to learn more in upcoming lessons. There'll be more precise in creating these patterns are creating a doodle Mandela, or creating Mandela's. You just have to be consistent in your work and make sure that you are practicing doodle Mandela's or you are practicing any patterns in it. What kinds of Mandela's daily? By doing practice, you will definitely get reserves as you want. Now here I'm creating the word red. And this is already looking really beautiful right now. I'm going to tell you one more hack in this lesson. If you are not ready to fill these words, you just have to create a box outside this. And you have to fill that box using Doodle Mandela's and keep the world as it is. It also looks more beautiful. It gives a 3D look for that particular word. So I guess this is a really cool idea. If you are not ready to create doodle Mandela's inside these words. If you love these kinds of designs, by keeping the world as it is, I'm creating doodle Mandela's outside the box. It's up to you that how you will like their design. As you all can see, it is looking really beautiful. I like both the ways of creating these doodle words. In further classes. We are also going to add some colors in it. Make sure you follow me on Skillshare so that you will get all the notifications of my new classes. I have also created a border outside that box. So it is looking like a photo frame. And I really loved the outcome. Now the line which we have created from the left side of each letter, we are going to fill that line with black pen. So basically that's the shadow of that letter. And it gives a really nice 3D look to each word. As I said before, that I always loved this activity. I also have an amazing room decor ideas for you all. You can also create your own name using this doodle Mandela heck are on a big paper and create a photo frame using old cardboards and you can put it on your desk area. It will become a really beautiful home decor idea. Again, you can see some glimpses of me creating this doodle words. As I said before, I want you all to create your own model, Mandela's. So that's how we have created this beautiful doodle Mandela's. You can also use any word you want. See you in the next lesson. 6. 4. Textures and Patterns: Hello everyone, I'm Swami and welcome to the fourth lesson of doodle Mandela class. In this class, you will need r-squared rule sheet. And we're going to create some patterns and textures which you can practice daily to improve your doodle Mandela artworks. First, I'm going to create a swirl design using two squares and creating a half flower shape design using rounded petals, adding one line and one.in each rounded petals and between each rounded petal. Now I'm going to create a small circle. For the second one, I'm creating a rounded petals from the center of those pairs. From both the sides. I'm creating a swirl pattern in opposite direction. And then creating slanting rounded petals from both the sides. And in the middle, I'm going to create three rounded petals with lines in it and adding circle at the end. Now for the third design, I'm going to create some uneven patents, supposed to, I'm going to create a half circle and then I'm creating a half-life inside the swan. Now creating random soil designs from a board's, also using some lines, some rounded petals. I'm some salt goes in different shapes. You'd have created, was from both the direction and adding. So goes from three sides. And again using rounded petals with lines in it and adding small so it goes in each one. For the next one, I'm going to create swung in a vertical way and join this one to create flower pattern and some lines inside the shape. Again creating Oswald design from right side and again using some rounded petals, some small circles, and some dots and lines. Now for the next one, I'm using three rounded petals. I'm creating a boundary from upwards. Then using long rounded petals with lines in it. And again, I added some circles in it. Now creating patterns in semicircle shaped, again using swells from both the sides, somewhat rounded petals. And so goods. Also, I'm going to fill the whitespace, which is remaining with black. Now we will create some textures. First creating a square shape and creating slanting lines. Again, added Oswald at the top and some small circles from both the sides. On the opposite side, again creating a semicircle and creating swirl inside. Some rounded petals from both the sides. Rounded petals with lines in it. I'm some vertical lines in between. I'm creating small from one side of the square and creating a flower shape using rounded petals. And added some horizontal lines. Again, starting their design with the same pattern. But creating one more flatter design from upwards. Created a line from upside down. I'm just adding some lines from different angles. Created a line between, created spouse from both. And again used some long rounded petals. Now in each square, I'm going to create lines from all the sides. Now creating a vertical rectangle. And in that creating a small pin, one square. And say Miss fall pattern in the second one. Again using some rounded petals. Filling up the whitespace. And creating a flagship design. In the remaining part. At the last, created a long rectangle and started or design with some pointed petal. Now decorating it with some rounded petals and some small circles. And filling up the whitespace with black, which is looking really beautiful. Then creating perhaps for design. And next to it creating a flagship design. So when you create these kind of design, just make sure to create more patterns from one space to another. And if the whitespace is remaining, fill it with a small circle or a black color. It will give you a design more elegant and beautiful look. So make sure to practice these textures and patterns at home daily. By doing this, you are doodle Mandela will definitely get more beautiful. You will be able to create your own Mandela designs for doodle Mandela artworks. See you in the next lesson. 7. 5. Doodle Mandala in Nature Elements: Hello everyone. I'm swimmingly and welcome to the fifth lesson of doodle Mandela class. Today you will need a plain white paper. First, I'm creating a border using pencil and scale. Now we're going to create a doodle. Mandela's in some nature elements which we are going to create in a big firm so that you will able to create more Mandela designs. And you will get an idea to create doodle Mandela's in some big space. So now we are going to create all the doodle Mandela patterns which we have learned so far. And we're going to combine these elements. Just calm your mind and start creating doodle Mandela's. If you are not able to think new patterns, you can take a reference of the artwork which I'm creating on the screen, but try to create your own designs as well. When you are creating any doodle Mandela, just keep in mind that whenever you lift your pen and again start creating patterns, you have to create a new pattern every time. By doing this mindful exercise, your habit will develop to create new designs every time. Also, as I said, in every classes till now, the more you practice, the more you will think of new patterns. Again, as I mentioned before, try to understand the meaning of that particular element. Here we are creating doodle Mandela in a leaf pattern. So older designs should be more natural and included more leaf patterns or a rounded petals, pointed petals, so that it will get more connected as every shape is related to nature. If some space is the remaining, you can also add some lines between. So as you all can see, the whole leaf is completed and the boundary which is remaining byte, I'm going to fill it with black. And it is really looking beautiful. I think, shadows from both the sides. It is looking really beautiful and 3D as well. Now I'm going to start creating flower pattern. Now as you all can see, we are creating doodle Mandela. So the petals are not in a specific way. I'm creating the petals in a doodle form. Now, I didn't lines from right side on each petal. Adding lines from below as well. And started creating doodle Mandela patterns inside each petal. Now, again, try to understand the element. So here the element is A-flat. So you have to create more floral Mandela designs. So it will be more relatable to domain element. Again, when you have more whitespace remaining, try to fill it with black, or tried to create some lines in it. It will give your pattern or your texture a really beautiful look. Try to create different patterns in each petals. If you are not able to create different patterns in each petal, you can use alternate combination. The last, adding some vertical lines in small petals and creating some shadows using black pen. At the last, adding one line and one dot. So that's how we have created these beautiful doodle Mandela's in basic nature elements. See you in the next lesson. 8. 6. Semi-Doodle Mandala: Hello everyone, I'm Swami and welcome to the sixth lesson of doodle Mandela class. So in this class, we are going to create semi doodle Mandela, which means we are going to create a half Mandela first, take your page horizontally and we're going to create a half Mandela. And first we will create symmetrical Mandela in one side of the semicircle. And on the second side, we will create doodle Mandela designs. So as you all can see, I have started creating mandalas in a symmetrical way. You will need a rounded up protractor. I have not given a particular measurements of this semicircle Mandela, as you all can take any measurements you want. You can also take the size of the semicircle Mandela, a little smaller than this. You have to create all the designs using these lines, which we have created. These lines keep you on track of creating symmetrical Mandela's. Now creating pointed petals and rounded petals in-between. When we are filling up the specific shape, like these pointed petals inside, you can create any kind of designs. But you have to just keep in mind that the main element boundaries are according to the measurements which we have taken. Now created a big swell and again, creating some designs inside each. In symmetrical. Then you have to repeat the same pattern. Now creating pointed petals. Adding a boundary from inside. And rounded petals in-between. I'm filling up with some symmetrical Mandela designs. When we're filling up the specific shape, like these pointed petals inside, you can create any kind of designs, but you have to just keep in mind that the main element boundaries are according to the measurements which we have taken now created a big swell. And again, creating some designs inside each. In symmetrical patterns, you have to repeat the same pattern. Now using a Balder Design button here. This is alternate pattern, which is a pointed petal and rounded button. Good your thin lines from right side in each pointed petals. It is looking really beautiful. And now adding a small circle between each pointed petal. But really loving their designs. Now creating a semicircle shaped and in-between using long rounded petals. In each semicircle shaped, creating more designs. Now created a boundary from outside. I'm now just creating vertical lines from above. And that's all we have created, the one side of this semicircle shape, which is symmetrical Mandela. Now, for the remaining part, I'm going to first erase all the lines. We will start from the bottom by creating doodle Mandela's, by using some doodle Mandela pipelines. So just follow the steps. If you are not able to create some more designs of your own, you just have to take the reference from the artwork which I'm creating with you right now. I will be more happy if you are using your own Mandela patterns. But nobody is. By practicing these patterns, are repeating the patterns which I'm creating on the screen right now. One day you will definitely try to create your own Mandela patents as well. Just keep in mind that you have to be creating the patterns one-by-one. You don't have to stop. You don't have to keep a space in between. You just have to fill the whole space one-by-one with older doodle patterns. Using some rounded petals, again creating some boundary from outside. Then using some small circles. And also filling up the space with black color as well. Using some small lines, some dots. That's how we have created our semi-feudal Mandela. See you in the class project. 9. Thank you and Class Project: So for our class project, you have to draw the same it, UDL Mandela from the sixth lesson, along with me and submit your results in the project section. I'll be personally removing them and share my honest views with you. So I hope you liked and enjoyed watching and learning my class. See you in the next class.
