1. CapCut for Content Creators: What's up, guys, Welcome
drug-free Dave here. So I'm gonna do
something a little bit different than I normally do. I'm not going to be drawing
or doing 3D modeling. I'm actually going to be
talking about cap cut. Cap cut is a free
video editing software that I use on my cell
phone, I use on my iPhone. We're going to focus
on mobile because I use cap cut for
all of my videos, TikTok, Instagram
Reels, Facebook, they all go through cap cut. It's a free application. And if you want to be a
content creator or if you just want to make
cute little videos, even if it's just
adding a watermark. A lot of people
add watermarks so that people don't steal their, their artwork or their videos. I don't usually think
about it that way. I use my logo or watermark just so that if a video goes viral or if someone repost
it somewhere, it should always be able
to be traced back to you. So even if you're just
going to use it for that, It's a great application. You can add titles, trim, and cut it a little bit
as actually goes down. You can add transitions and fun little stickers and
effects and things like that. So you can use all of
that with cap cut. And it's really a part of my workflow that I don't
really talk about that much because I never really
thought that anyone would be interested in how I edit
videos and how I use cap cut. But if you want to be
a content creator, you're videos have to
be pretty much perfect, which is impossible, but
you have to make them as perfect as you can
in a timely fashion. So that's why I think it's
important to just show you what I use in
every aspect of my content creation so
that you can use it as well and grow and get
better at what you do. I just really like it. I use it every day. It's a permanent
part of my workflow. So I want to share
it with you guys. Alright, so let's move on to the next video class, project.
2. Class Project: Welcome to class projects. So this one's really
easy, really simple. Just take some
videos. You can use my test videos or
just take your own. Just take some clips. You, if you have a pet,
you can go outside. I would recommend like
five or ten videos, five to 10 s each. Nothing too crazy to start with. And just play around
with it, edit it. There's so much in cap cut
that I can't really go through everything because it would literally take forever. But there's a lot in capital at that you can play around with. I'll show you some
of the filters. I'll show you some
of the basic things, trimming, exposure
and things like that. Just the basic things
that get you started. But yeah, that's
pretty much all I want to see for
the class project. I'm also going to go
through posting it. So if you post it, obviously
tagged me it really, I'm looking forward
to seeing what you make and seeing your videos. And it's really easy, it's free, and it just brings your
videos to the next level. And so now I can't even really
like send anyone a video unless it's like gone through
the works with cap cut. But yeah, let's jump into it. Let's get to the next
video, Getting Started. Also, by the way, I recorded
all of this stuff before, like maybe like 25 min worth of footage that
I wanted to edit down. And I forgot to
add my microphone to my camera because
I was traveling. So now I'm redoing it. You can do it.
3. Getting Started: Alright, so let's get started with downloading and
installing CCAP gut. This is the iPhone 14 Pro. This is the pixel six. I already have it
installed on the iPhone. Of course you would just
go to the App Store. Lets see kept cut. Alright, and then
it shows up here. Then you just open it. Of course, I already
have mine open, but it'll look
something like this. I have a ton of projects
because I literally use it all the time.
Just about every day. On Android, you would go to the Play
Store or whatever stores, just search cap cut. First thing that shows up, install and then it will go
through and install cap gut. I would say that I use it for every single one of my videos. A lot of my videos I
take from Final Cut Pro. I used to take them from iMovie and I would bring
them over to cap cut to edit so I can make
them proper for the phones. So I just accept everything. Then you get
something like this. You might get some of these. So it depends on if you
want notifications or not. I'll just hit don't allow. And of course, it'll
ask you if you want to allow it to get to the music and the
pictures on your phone. I don't want notifications. So these are all this is just the stuff I have on this phone. Pictures as well. So you can upload
videos and photos. Let's start with a new project. So you just hit
New Project here, and then it automatically
goes to your photos and videos so that you can
add whatever you want. For this first one. I'm just going to add a lot of my little visitors
from the backyard. So I'm just going to add those. I'll start with this one. And when you're
adding them, this is the order that they're going
to show up on your video. So I'm not sure what
the rest of these are, but I know I have a bunch
of these animal videos. So I'm just going
to select them all. You see, these are all
our Eclipse down here. You can hit Add seven. So now that you have
all your videos, you can scroll just
by swiping down here, this is pretty much where
you're going to be. Obviously, this is your
preview of your video. And when you import video, it's going to show up at
this same exact ratio as the video, wherever
the video is. So if it's horizontal, it's
going to be horizontal. If it's vertical, it's
going to be vertical. And you can see all
these little cut marks. That's where you video changes. And of course, you can do just as you would
with any video. I'm like on your phone, you can use two
fingers to shrink it and make it bigger that way now we can see
it a little easier. I believe that the first
time you do it there might be a little cap cut. It might look like this. You can delete this
little bit at the end. I'm just going to expand so I can see it, so I can tap on it. This is just a little
cap cut ending. So if you have that, just tap on it and you can tap Delete. And of course that's
the same way that you would delete any of your any of your videos.
4. Recording Content: So since they make a lot of my own content with my artwork, I'm just gonna show
you how I record videos and specific
videos so I can bring them into cap cut and use different settings with
them and put them together. So I think I'm going
to edit this video and then I'll make a new
video at it both. So I'll show you
different things that I do with different videos. So even though I have all
these videos sort of setup, once you add videos in, you can hit X here and
it's saved as a projects. And now this new project
that we just made is here. But I'm going to use the
amuse my phone to record a new video so I
can show you how vertical video works in cap cut, different things I might do
with that sort of content. Okay, So sometimes I make videos where I have something moving in reverse and it's just
like a weird creation, and then it turns
into a character. So I'll just show you how to
make that. It's very simple. I just have whatever
the yard is that I want to record my phone. Go to the video. Alright, so
now we have our video here. I'm going to try to keep
everything in frame so you can see pretty much what I'm doing. So I pretty much
tried to frame it vertically In the phone. And I do have to cut
some things off, but that's okay because
if it's vertical, you just want it to look
big and bold vertically. Then I'll just hit record. And my hand was solely come in and it'll cross out and it'll be
something like that. Had stopped. And then I have my video.
5. Importing Video: Okay, so we were gosh, I'm gonna really can't talk. We recorded a video. Let's do a preview. Looks pretty good.
Everything looks in focus. Lunch pretty clear. And okay, so it looks great. Now I'm just going
to go to cap cut new project and add the video. And now we have our new video
here directly in cap cut. And as you can see, it's
a vertical orientation. And the only thing
I need to do with this video is reverse it. So a tap on the video here. And I make sure I hit back. See. When you tap on the
video, you have certain options that pop up. Certain options to edit it. When you tap back, these are the main
options for cap cut. And there's a lot
of options here. There's a lot of different
things. So you can sort of, they're very easy to understand. It's just like with
a photo gallery. You have edit, texts,
tickers, overlay. Overlay is when you, if you have a logo and you want
to add it on there, then you can add an
overlay. Things like that. I'll use a photo. And let's
say I wanted to use my, my one of my logos or
something like that. So you can add that. And then you can stretch these. You can make them as
long as you want. Okay, so let's
reverse this video. I want to tap on this video. And I want to look through
these until I get to reverse. Then you just tap reverse. So now the reverse is applied. So when you play it slides right into place perfectly. The only thing I did notice
is I have my voice in there, which I wouldn't use if
I was going to use it for Instagram or TikTok. So you can take the
audio out and see you. I just scrolled back to volume and you can
just put that to zero. Then just hit the
little check mark. And now it's at zero. If you want to add a
video or picture to a specific spot or
in-between two videos. You can have this
line. You can just navigate to the lines where
you want to add the video. So you can add it in the middle of videos or in the beginning. Let's say we bring it there
and then you hit plus, and then add your photo or
video. And then hit Add. And then it shows up here. And again, if it's very small, you can tap on the
video, expand. And then you have your video.
6. CapCut Editing: Okay, so when it comes
to editing your video, we'll start with this
horizontal video. The first thing you
wanna do is figure out the ratio that you
want your video. So if you're going to
with a cell phone, you want it to be vertical. So in order to do that, you want to go down here. And if you can't find this, you might have clicked
on this because then you won't see the same icons. So if you see this
little back button, you just want to make sure
that it's not showing. And you have these options here. So then you go to the
right here, a ratio. Then you have all
of these 19916. That's like your
normal vertical size. That's probably perfect
for cell phones, but I personally like to use 34. I don't know. I just think it looks
better. This is just a personal thing for me. So I usually choose 34. And then we have that black bars on the top and the bottom. So I don't like that either. So what I do for that is
you just want to hit back. You want to go to Canvas. It's right next to ratio, so you tap Canvas. And then I like to tap blur. Then I just blur the top and the bottom and you can hit
this little arrow here. So of course you have
these other things. You can upload a background. You can just upload any photo that you might want
for the background, which I think usually doesn't I usually don't apply
to upload a background. I think it looks silly. Or we can make it a color,
something like that. But I like to go with
just your regular blur. Unfortunately, we do have
to do it for all of this, all of the clips. But you want to do it
now before you start editing the clips
because then you'll have to do it for each. Like if we cut this three times, we'd have to do it three times. So just remember,
hit Canvas, blur. Then you can blur. Now, a little trick is you
can just slide it over. Then it goes to the next clip and then you can just hit blur. And it kinda save some time. I can probably shrink
this a little bit. And that might make
it a little faster. So I hit blur. Go to the next one had blur. Like so I'll just make sure
that I didn't miss any. Here we go. So then we'll just
hit the check mark. And now at least you have you don't have those
black bars on top. You have a little movement. I think that this is acceptable
if we're going to use horizontal video for some
sort of posts like this. So the next thing you wanna
do is trim all your videos. That's also really easy, steep. See we're still
on the blur menu, so we're just going to hit back. So just find the most
interesting parts of your video. E.g. I think it's cute with
the bird right in front. Kind of dies right there. So I'm just going to tap on the video and see
where this white line is. That's where it's going to cut. That's like your cursor. So I'm going to tap split. And I'm just going to expand this a little bit
because it looks really. So then we have play and
it cuts right there. And now we have the
rest of the video. So I'll just play it through. And then you don't
want any dead space. You don't want any
dead space where nothing is really happening. I'll fast forward. So that's kind of an
interesting thing here we have the bird pulling some fluid out. So that's kind of interesting. Let's see what else we have. Now we have in digging in there again and popping out again. So that's pretty Q2. So maybe we'll try this. So I just, I just put
this slide a tour. I want it tap this. You see, split, it, split. This is all the
dead space behind it so we can just delete that. And it probably
dies right there. So we split it, pulls the food out and we'll
probably just cut it there. And we'll just take those as
our two interesting spots. In this part. I'll
just delete it. So this is the
rest of the video. So next we have a little mouse. And I'll hit play. He
pauses there for awhile. And then he runs,
plenty runs out. So it's not really
that exciting. So I might actually just
take it from here and just split and delete
the beginning part. So then you just
have him pausing, running in the bowl
and then running away. And that's, that's pretty
much it for this clip. So I'll just split it
there and delete the end. You have a little cat looking
at walking over to camera. A pause it. And I don't think
he does really much else. So we'll just pause it right
when it gets to the camera. So maybe we'll pause it there. Split sniffs around. Any cross back over the bowl. So we'll take that action, will split it here, and we'll cut everything
in between there. Now we have these two moments where he walks over the ball. Then let's cut it at the end. Doesn't really do much,
just kinda sitting there, walks around there. So we'll delete through
the rest of this. This is him in the daytime. So maybe we'll pause it
there, see what else he died. It doesn't really do much else. So we'll delete it and I'll
put this one in front. See how I just hold it down. You long press and then you
can place it where you want. That's the mouse, I believe. I think this is the cat, so you could just long
press and then you can just put it
wherever you want it. So let's see, should
be the mouse. Then we have the candidate
time cat at night. Okay, and then we have the
possum sniffing around. So this is probably a good spot. Him sniffing around and CBD
does anything else exciting? Not really in this video. So we can delete
the rest of this. And then we just have him
sniffing around. Pretty cute. Oh, maybe we just
want them sniffing around. And we'll pause it. And let's cut this part
is just drinking water, so it's not that exciting. But maybe it's more
exciting to put this clip in front
of the other clip. So we have the cat
sniffing around. Then we have him in front. The next we have
a raccoon snitch really quick and
then cross and the back and over the fence. So another way that you can trim the video is actually to take this little slider and you
can slide it back and forth. And that will just do that. It'll just show you where the
video cuts once you let go. That's where the video cuts. So you can do that at both ends using these little n tabs. Since it's the end of the video, said we want to fade out
something really simple. So we just tap on the
video, hit animation. And then you have a lot
of these and a lot of these different transitions,
like for ending. So N means the front part of
the video, so we want out. So that's the end of the
video or end of the clip. So if he's tapped out, fade out. It actually fades. Won't fade to black. It was kinda just fade to
like our background blur. So it fades out that way. Okay, So that looks pretty good. Cat was a little slow here. So maybe I'll just bring this
in a little bit since it's, this is kind of a long clip. And I'll have it. So the cat here and then
starts to climb over the bowl. So that's kinda a little bit
more interesting. I think. I'm going to make this
a little smaller too. So I'll bring this in. The rest of the editing is that there's a ton of
things in cap cut. But one of the other things
that's really important, if you tap on it
and you tap speed, then you tap normal. Here's the normal speed. And you can move it up. In a clip, will go really fast. So if we hit Okay, beginning of this clip is
really fast, it's sped up. But to undo, you just press this little arrow here,
this little hook. Now you can undo it and
it's the normal speed. And of course we
have text stickers, overlay, overlay.
There's effects. So all of these things is just fun to just go
through and play around with. Dell obviously change
your video and give your video certain looks just
like with any other app. They're just like filters
and things like that. Let's say we want to
speed up the end of this. When he walks away,
I'm going to split. And then I want to speed up this because this is too, too long. So you want to tap
on it, speed normal, and we'll make it about
3 s or so late. Okay. Then we have this.
And he sped up. Okay, So we'll go
over a few more editing tricks in
the next video.
7. Video Adjustments, Transitions, & Filters: Okay, so let's go through a few more things
with the video. You notice that some of
these are a bit dark. So it might be nice to sort of adjust the video
a little bit. So you can tap on the clip
that you want to adjust. And you can go to adjust here. So these are pretty much the
same as like photo apps. You can adjust the
brightness, things like that. For this one, I
might use exposure. I might try to just turn
that up a little bit. And you can see, you might have to sort of play
around with it. Maybe I'll do a little bit
of brightness as well. And maybe play with the contrast a little bit
and then just hit Okay, so all of these other options, it depends on your
video vignette, but you can play around
with those and just figure out what each one
means by going through. I'm not gonna go through
every single one because those are just if
you play around with them, then you'll, that'll be the
easiest way to learn that. But it is just important to
know how to adjust the video. So that's, that's one thing
that I'd like to adjust. This is pretty dark as well. These are pretty dark. So
we'll do the same thing. Adjust the exposure here. So bring the exposure up and then I'll bring the
brightness up a little bit. And probably would
have been a good or a better thing for me to edit the videos
before I cut them. Because if you cut
them, then you have to match what you did on
one with the other. So that can be a little tricky. So yeah, sorry, you should probably adjust it before
you do any cutting. But even if not, it's
not that big of a deal. Just you go to adjust or you
can use a filter as well. Let's try to filter. Oops. Let's try to filter. Some of these are obviously
paid and some might not work. Let's try and you have
all of these up here. So there's a ton, there really is a ton. But you can go through, maybe you'll get something you like. Vw three looks pretty good. So let's press Okay. And then on this one, we
can do the same thing. Just scroll over to filter. Filter. There it is. And I think it was VW three. Set it. Here we go, BW three.
So things like that. You can use the same
filter for both, maybe if that works. So the other really
important thing is these breaks where
there's a cut. You can do a lot with those. So when we're changing
animals, Let's say e.g. let's just expand this. This is where you
can add transitions. So if I tap on this and then these transitions
come up for this, for changing animals,
I'm going to use, Let's see, pull in the screen. So if I tap on that, it'll show you a little
preview of what it looks like. And I'll tap on something
else too so you can see it shows a little preview
of what you are. You know what it looks like. So let's use pulling the screen. And maybe I want it to
be a little bit faster. That's what this slider is. You can slide it down and
it'll happen a lot faster. If I like that, I'll hit Okay, write the check mark. And maybe I want to do that
when the animal changes. Then I'll just have to go
through and just choose the same one as the
animals change. So let's say we liked that
for the animal change, but we wanted to
another filter for the same animal so
we can tap that one. And maybe one,
maybe we want to do a blur, like bubble blur. You can do something like that. Or you can just do basic. And you can do a blink. And maybe we'll do the
blink a little faster. It looks pretty good. Okay, so for this one we'll
do pull in the screen. I try not to do too
many different ones. That's the only reason
why I'm showing you this and making a full video because I want to show you how
I think as well. I tried to keep it fairly
consistent with what I'm doing. So maybe I'll add a blink here. I think a blink was in basic. And there's a lot
and it's pretty fun to play around with these two. There's a lot of filters. So you can do a
lot of fun stuff. So this is a new animals, so we're going to do pull
in the screen. Here it is. There we go. And then
we have the fade out. You notice he doesn't jump off. It doesn't jump off the ball. So if you need to expand this, even though we
added that fell to their tap on the one you want to expand and then drag
this white bar. You can drag that over. So let's see how it looks now. That's a little bit better
maybe when we want to give it another little smudge of
time, you can do that. There we go. And
maybe we want to give this a longer time to, because the filter
is real to cut a little bit into how
we edited our video. So if we want to
pull this side back, we can pull it back like this. And that gives you
the proper time to still see the action. Might do with this as well. We'll just pull it back
a little bit. Whoops. Sometimes it gets
a little tricky. Oh, that must be the MSB, the very beginning of the video. You can't pull it back, then you might not have enough video. So here's another really
cool thing that you can do. Let's say we want to open up or the video with
something interesting. So you can go here to
Effects ME a video effects, body effects, photo effects. So we'll try video effects. And then we have a
lot of these here. You can scroll around, you can scroll across the top. So we'll try opening
and closing. Okay, so let's try,
let's see what this is. We have camera focus. It's kind of interesting,
so we'll hit Okay, and let's see what
that looks like. It looks, it looks kinda cool. Let's try another
effect just to kinda. So maybe we'll try another
effect on this clip. Notice I don't see here, so I'm just gonna go
back to the original. Tap on it again. Oh, so let's go back. And now here, Here's effects. Here we go. So video effects. Let's try something else. Glitch star, light. Let's try light. Let's
try something fun. So maybe star. Let's go down to something
moving or swirling. So maybe we'll try
star rain one. We tap star rain one. And you see, once you
tap it you have adjust. So I'm going to tap adjust, and here you have the amount. So maybe I want to lessen this. Maybe I want to slow the
speed down a little bit. That's how you can
adjust whatever the, whatever the effect
is that you're using. And then we'll press this. And now you see you can
move the effect as well. You can just long press it and you can slide it
to where you want. Then it has the effect. And you can stretch
it out just long, press the second panel and
then you can stretch it out. Okay. Go ahead and delete this.
We don't really need it.
8. Adding Titles: And titles are really
important too. You might want to add
those to your videos. So let's say we want
to add a title here. Maybe we'll add it here. I'm just going to hit back
until we see the T for text. Then we tap text, add text. And then this box come up. So don't try to
click in the box, you just write the text here. The morning chirps. So now we have the
morning chirps. I'll use this
little, tiny little, little angles, these two angles here to
make it bigger and smaller. And let's say we want to move it down. You can move
it down there. So you have style, color, size, things like
that, and you have effect. So this just adds like
fun effects to it. And also you don't forget
you have all of these here. So there's a ton. You have animation. So animation is how
the texts comes in and how the texts
exit when it's done. So e.g. let's look through and do kinda like this
one here, chromatic. So we'll do that, see
how in green this has n. That's because that's how the morning chirps will
come into our scene. If we do out, then we can figure out how
we want it to exit. So let's say we
do something like this slingshot and press, Okay, now you see
the arrows pointing, so we have something coming
in, something going out. So when you play it. Another really important thing, if you tap on it again. If you double tap on it, you
have all your options here. You can tap effect
are not Effects. You can tap. Wasn't going to do.
Oh, yes, the font. That's what that's what it was. You have all of these
fonts that you can use. I tend to use, where's
the one I like? I think it's called
New need to Nieto. And eventually you'll get like certain fonts and things
that you just use normally. I try to keep things consistent. Maybe I'll use
something different. Palmer lake, I'll use
something different. So hit. Okay. So now let's name
him something else. So I'll add text. You can add it and
add everything again. But another little trick that
I do is I'll take this one, I'll tap on it and
then hit Copy. And then I'll drag this
one over a long, press it. Now I can double tap on
it and I can just change the name and it has the same settings as the other one does. Grab grab-and-go. So he can be grab-and-go. So that's basically
how you do text. I'm going to do these
other ones, but I'm not going to make you
sit through it. Of course, you have tons
and tons of options here and effects that you
can play around with. And it's really fun
and it's easy to get, kind of get lost in. It's kinda easy to
get lost in it. There is also text to speech. So if we tap text to speech, you have different voices
and things like that. Rod and grabbing rather than go. So you have a lot
of grab-and-go. So that's text-to-speech,
which is pretty cool though. If we tap on it, Let's see. I can figure out how to
get rid of text to speech. So if you wanted to leet, see now I have the sound on it, but if you want to delete
it, just hit back. You see now there's
like an audio. So tap on the audio, tap on the audio and
then hit Delete, and that will get rid
of the text-to-speech. So now if you want to
see your text again, overlays and things,
they'll kind of like go, you'll see this little
orange bar on top. But they're kinda
easy to get lost. So you just have to hit text and then you'll be able to
edit the text again. You can also add sounds. There is like a library of sounds that cap kept good hands. So let's say we want to
try to add a video of him. Kinda speed and away there. We'll go to audio. And you can go to Effects. And now you have all of these
effects that you can use. Laugh, fight transitions,
things like that. Animals. So you have a lot of these, a lot of these that you can use. Let's see if we
can find something like some sort of like
running or something mechanical magic, you can just tap
wanted to play it. So maybe we'll put
a Boeing bounce. So let's press the little plus. And now you see this sound here. But it doesn't. Maybe it
only makes sense when he, when he jumps up there. So now I'm going to long press
it and move it over here. Let's see if that makes sense. It's a little loud and
it's a little slow. So maybe I'll put a little
more space at the end. For this. Maybe I want to lower the
volume so I'll just tap on it. Hit volume and we'll just
lower that a little bit. Make it a little more subtle,
and then press the check. Something like that. So
you can also add sounds. And obviously there's a
few more options here, voice effects and
things like that. I tend not to do that because
I tend to just add music. You know, when I upload it
to whatever the app is, the birds are making
plenty of sounds, so I don't have to add sounds. But sometimes it is fun. Like if there was a
scampering sound to add, like maybe for this little guy or a meow or something
for the cat.
9. Keyframe Zoom & Exporting : So once you're happy
with your video and you've checked
it all through, you can export our
right up here, ten ADP. So that's the resolution
that we're going to export. You can change that
if you'd like. But I tend to just
leave it at ten ADP. You don't really need
anything higher. You really could
probably make due at 07:20 If it's just gonna
be for social media, what I like to leave it
at 1080 since I have plenty of room on my phone
and things like that. Plus I like to save my videos and just put them on my computer
and save them for later. Because you never know
in the future and other social media app will be king and then you
can repost these. So you just press this little
arrow here and it exports. Keep cap cut open and
don't lock the screen. Then you have these
sharing options here. You can hit Done. And then you can
just check your, you can check your level of
your library and let's see. There it is. And here's our video here. So really quick,
I'll do the same thing with the other video. But I don't need these extra, so I'm just going to click
on them and delete them. So the only thing that I
wanted to do for this is maybe make the beginning part a little bit faster
or just trim it. So I'm going to tap
it and then I'm going to long press this little n handle and slide it in. Maybe till about there. Play. The very last thing that
I wanted to mention in the other videos is
using these keyframes. So these keyframes are
actually really good. So let's say we like
what we have here. But I wanted to to
what is it called? What's the, what's the term? I'm wanted to slightly zoom in. So let's say I want
to zoom in from here to here and I want to make it a little bit closer on the eyes. So you just go to the,
go to the part where you want it to be
closer to the eyes. And then tap those
little diamonds and you see this little
red diamond here. So that's your first keyframe. So all you have to do is tap the diamond
and you have one. And you go to where
you want it to be a little closer or you can just
go to the end of the clip, tap the little diamond. So now we have to, but
nothing is happening. So you always want to go
to this second diamond. And then we'll just
expand this a little bit. Maybe move this a little bit
more towards the middle. Notice this blue frame around, like that's our actual video. So you don't want to go
too far where it turns white or you have black,
that won't look good. You want to still
be within your art, to be within the frame. So now we have the first red. Where's the first red one? Oh, there it is. Now. There we go. This is the first diamond. And this is the second diamond. Now when we hit play, It's kinda slowly zoom in to where that
second diamond is. And that's very useful
for different effects or different just zooming or painting whatever
you might need. Just use those two diamonds. And if you need to
get rid of them, you can just go to them and you see now there's a little minus. If you're off it,
There's a plus. But when you're on
it There's a minus. That's how you would
get rid of it. And I'll do one I'll do a one that'll make it really
clear what I'm doing. So one there, one there, I'm still on the second one. I'll make this really big. So now watch. So this whole space is just getting to
this other diamond. That's all that is. I'm going to get rid of
it. Get rid of this one. Boom. Now, export this as well. Now we have both of
our videos here. Okay? And the next part of
this, really easy. Obviously, you want to up,
if you want to upload, Let's say we upload. Silence that. So if you want to upload, just go here to TikTok, press the little plus upload. And let's say we want to upload the animals. So you press that. Next. You go up
here and add sound. And you can go to favorites. What somebody sounds are. So let's say you want to use that music so you can tap on it. You can hit volume. Let's say we want to
turn this down 10%. We still want the
original sound. We can turn that up
a little bit. Maybe. We'll hit Done. Then you have a nice
soundtrack for your video. What that was. It's kinda funny, but it
actually worked for the video. So let's hit Next.
Select a cover. Something that looks
fairly interesting. So we'll save that one. And then we can backyard
visitors or cap cut Skillshare. Skillshare. So we'll do hashtag, Skillshare hashtag, Brooklyn, let's do green point,
Brooklyn For You page FIP. Drug-free, dave. Okay. So that we have our videos. I don't need to tag anyone and put the location
if we want that. Green point in New York. And then we can post. I'll pause that so we don't get any I don't want to play
anyone else's stuff on here. And then it uploads, and
then you're good to go. So pretty much the same thing
with Instagram or Facebook. But I just wanted
to run you through my thoughts of making
the whole video, editing it, and then uploading it to an actual social media. And that's pretty
much how we do it. Let's see, 90%, 91. In there. There we go. So now if we go
back to my profile and here's the video
we just posted. But as you can see, I
post a ton of videos. All of these videos
you can see are, let me turn the volume down. All of these videos are pretty
much the same exact thing. The same exact way. Because I edit all my videos. Sometimes I do a lot of the the main editing on
the computer like for these very long videos
like this is probably five or 6 h edited down. And then I export, I export
this as a horizontal video. And then I do all
my cap cut stuff. Like I think I will throw
up the there's my YouTube. So I'll use that as an overlay. I don't usually have
it at the whole video, but I just keep it in for
a little bit at a time. So if this ever gets shared, it goes viral somewhere
or someone else repost it. This will be here. People can always see, oh, this is from drug-free, Dave? And that's just another, this is a good practice to make sure
that you're getting credit. Especially if it's
just view credit or people that want to go
see more of your work. This is an, obviously
this video is from the computer and
other like talking head, same thing, vertical
or the horizontal video that I wanted to
add to social media. So I use CAP Code
for everything. It's really, really great. It's free and I
think it's amazing. I use it pretty much every day. Alright, so I think
that's about it. Here's another of
the reverse videos. Have fun, enjoy. Hopefully that was useful. I have nothing but good
things to say about cap cut. And hopefully this helps
you to make better content. For your social media.
10. CapCut 9: Outro Thank You: Well, I'm looking forward
to seeing your videos. Hopefully that was helpful. This is something that I do. Very often. I use this application
all the time. It's totally worth it. I mean, it's free, but
it's worth it just to bring your videos
to the next level and edit them with an application that's pretty much
a professional. I mean, if you want to consider
myself a content creator, I know I use this application. I use bigger apps, I use Final
Cut Pro and the computer to edit down my scopes and my drawings and
things like that. But that's like
five or 6 h worth of footage that
I'm editing down, that takes me like ours. But once I get to a
point where I can export it to my phone, then I use cap cut because
you really have to polish things up specifically
for mobile, specifically for a social media. I even have to change the times. Now you'll learn this if you're, if you're doing TikToks, if you're doing TikToks versus
Facebook vs. Instagram, sometimes I've tried
to keep them within 60 s because e.g. on TikTok, if you're
looking up a song, it's most likely
going to be 60 s. So I try to stick to that. Twitter, same thing, 60 s. But if I'm doing
it for Facebook, I may slow it down and
stretch it out for a minute. And 29 s because audio seems
to go a little bit longer. Usually it's around a minute and thirty-seconds,
things like that. So you'll have to just
figure that out as you start posting videos on
different social media as I do it all the time, and you just get
used to each one. It's kind of annoying
to have to post, post to each one,
but it's a business. So think about it as a job. And this is one
step on your way to really making
professional content and professional looking content so that you can just continue to grow and get to where
you need to be. Of course, you know, all my social media
stuff is drug-free. Dave, YouTube, TikTok,
Instagram, all that stuff. And yeah, I think
that's about it. Keep drawing, keep sculpting. I'll see you in the next video also let me know when you
think about this. I also use Final Cut Pro. There's a few of the
things that I use in my formula for
everything that I make. So if you're interested
in more videos like this that are different, I'm still going to
do the other videos. But if you want to
know more about my, the way I work in and you want to see
more videos like this, then let me know
because this is fun. It's just something
different, something that I use every day. Officially. Keep
drawing, keep sculpting. I'll see you all
in the next video.
