Image generation using Artififical Intelligence: Hey, everyone, welcome to a new lecture in this series of lectures, and the first thing we're going to learn in this course is how to create images using artificial intelligence. For that, we will need a service called Bing image creator. Let me search for this in Google. And we have the search results over here. Click on image creator from Microsoft Bing. Now, what do you need to do before you can start creating images, you need to sign in to your Microsoft account. Now, once you go to the service that is image created by being, it'll ask you to either sign up and create a microsoft account or it'll ask you to sign in to your already existing Microsoft account. Most people have microsoft account, so it should not be much of a problem. Once you've signed in, you'll notice that you'll be taking to this window where you have a search bar. Or we can call this the prompt bar. This is where we input the prompt, which tells artificial intelligence what we want. And near the prompt bar just right up the search bar, you'll see that there are are not a certain number of credits or boosts visible. So every day in the service, you get 100 boosts or 100 credits. So you can create 100 artificial intelligence generated images every day. So once you have exhausted the hundred, you cannot create any more images for that day. You need to create artificial intelligence generated images the next day. So basically, every day you get 100 images that you can create. So what are we going to create? Well, let's say we are writing a book about dinosaurs, and there tendencies and their nature. Or let's say you're writing a social media Instagram post about dinosaurs. Or let's say you are creating a YouTube video about dinosaurs. For that we'll need a picture. Now I'm going to tell being image creator what we need. What we need is dinosaurs flying. We want to create a book or a social media post or a T video about dinosaurce flying and Dinosaurce who could fly. So let's search for this. Let's create an image based on this particular prompt. And it takes a bit of time because this is a cloud based service. It's online. You cannot download the software to your computer. Basically, what you're doing is you're creating the images using a browser and you have four images over here of dinosaurs flying. Now, let's say we want something that is more specific. Dinosaurs flying and fighting each other in the sky. Let's say we are creating a video or a book about predatory dinosaurs who fought and ate each other. Does not sound pleasant, but that is what we will attempt to create right now. Let's see what images being image creator gives us. So just have a little bit of patience because it does not take a lot of time. And you have images of dinosaurs flying and trying to eat each other up or kill each other, basically. And as you can see, you have a nice image over here of dinosaur flying. But let's say we want to be more specific. We want to create a book for kids, an informational book for kids or a Btu video for kids, and kids like cartoons. So let's say you want a picture that looks like a cartoon. Specify this in the surge bar over here. And then click on Create. So what I have done is I have specified that I want a cartoon. So you can separate the prompt from what sort of image you want using a period or a full stop. So click on Create. And it's almost done. And as you can see, you have cartoons of dinosaurs trying to kill each other. Let's say you want something else instead of cartoons. Let's say you want sepia images of dinosaurs trying to kill each other. So I changed cartoon to sepia. Let's see what we get right now. Okay. As you can see, we have four sepia images over here. Well, let's say we want impressionist paintings of dinosaurs trying to kill each other. Impressionism is an art form. It is a school of art, and you have famous painters like Money who made impressionist paintings. I'm going to specify that I want impressionist images. So I'm going to write impressionist in the surge bar and this will follow the prompt. The prompt is dinosaurs flying and fighting each other in the sky and after the period I'm writing impressionist. So it's going to create impressionist images. So the trick over here is to be as specific as possible. Use your creative, use your imagination. Try to imagine the picture you want and then be specific. For instance, instead of saying dinosaurs, I said dinosaurs flying and fighting each other in the sky, and the artificial intelligence image creator has created impressionist paintings because I specified that I want impressionist paintings. Let's go back to the cartoon theme because we're going to stick to the cartoon theme. Okay. And that is a picture we will use for our book cover design or social media post design or YouTube come nail design. That is what we are going to use. And we have a cartoon, four cartoon pictures of dinosaurs flying and try to kill each other for dinosaurs fighting, essentially. And I'm going to download this image. And this has been downloaded to my downloads folder. Now, let's say you don't want to use B. What other options are there? The first option you have for creating images using artificial intelligence is red dot O image creator. This particular image creator or AI generated image service uses a similar pattern, uses a similar method. What you need to do is you need to go to the search bar over here and specify what you want, do source. Flying in the sky and fighting each other. And I want cartoons. After the period, I'm entering cartoon I'm writing cartoons, and click on generate. Now, the problem with this services, you can generate only five images every day. So once you're done with generating five images, you have to wait for the next day to generate five more images. So Microsoft Bing image creator is infinitely better than this particular service. But if for some reason, Microsoft image creator is not working or you don't have a microsoft accounter and don't know how to use a microsoft account or create a microsoft account, you can just go to the service dO AI image generator. And for this, you don't need an account. All you need to do is to give you a prompt. Write your prompt in the search bar click Generate, and this will generate a nice picture for you, but you can only generate five pictures every day. So this is taking a bit time. A bit of time, but let's wait. Let's see which image looks better, the one generated by d or the one generated by Microsoft Bing image creator. The thing is that, as you can see, Microsoft Bing image creator is a much powerful service, much powerful software application because it takes lesser amount of time while this takes a lot of time. While we are waiting for this, let me show you some other services from which you can get images. Now, let's say you don't want artificial intelligence generated images. You want normal images, which are royalty free. You can go to Pix B, and I have PixAba in my search results, but I'll click on Pix and click on Pixi B. Again, this is a free service. All you need to do is you need to sign up, create an account, sign up, and then you can search for any images you want. The prompt over here or rather what sort of image I'm looking for is basically dinosaur flying in the sky and fighting each Let's click on Enter. And we do not get anything because this is not an artificial intelligence based image creator. Pixabay is a library of images. Let's just say dinosaur flying instead of everything else. And we have images and royalty free images of dinosaurs flying different images created by other people, and this is all royalty free. Now, let's say you want something better. What can you do? You can go to Wikimedia Commons, Wikimedia Commons and Wikimedia Commons houses a ton of pictures. Click on Wikimedia Commons over here, or search for it, as you can see, we have been taken to Wikimedia Commons, right over here. What we'll search for is die no source fly. And you have images of dinosaurs flying like this one. But you basically get photographs that people have taken, which are sometimes used in Wikipedia articles. You get photographs from books and stuff like that. So this is not something that will help you create apo cover image or Bespoke book cover Bisk social media post Bispoke YouTube coal. For that, what you need is an image generator. And this image generator is still taking some time, and I have no idea why. But basically, what you can do is you can create AI generated images from this two. Let's click on download over here. And the image has been generated. Let's look at the image. The image has been generated, but for some reason, it's not showing the image in the service. So this is the image that has been generated. So more or less, those are the services you can use for images. For Bispok artificial intelligence created images. Use Microsoft being image creator or D AI. And for Microsoft being image creator, all you need to do is log in with your microsoft account or create a Microsoft account and log in every day, you get 100 images that you can generate and download. So that's all for today's video. In the next lecture, I'm going to show you how to use the image and create a Pispok book cover, an Instagram post, and a YouTube umbil. So there'll be three videos. In the series of lectures, one for book cover, one for Instagram image, one for YouTube Tom. Thank you so much. Okay. 3. Accessing Canva: Hey, everyone, welcome to a new lecture. In today's lecture, I'm going to show you the software that you can use to create graphic design, cover art, YouTube thumbnails, Instagram posts, and all these things. It's one of the best graphic design software out there, it's called Canva CN Now, you can download this app from the IOS Appstore, from the Android apps store, from the Mac App store from Windows Appstore, or you can use the browser based version, which is what I'm going to be doing. Today, I'll be using the browser based version. And for that, I'm going to click on the search result over here, va free design tool. And this tool is 80% free. So most of the features in Canva are free. There are some features which are used for really advanced graphic design that require a subscription, and with that subscription, you'll get a ton of free pictures in the sense, royalty free images, stop, videos, et cetera. But for most things, What you need is the free Canva because the free Canva software can do most things. It suffices for most needs and purposes. So what you need to do over here is you need to sign up and you can do this for free, so click on sign up for free, and you can sign in using Google, Facebook, or e mail or some other method. So go ahead, sign up, and then I'll join you again in the next lecture where I'll show you how to create a book cover using Canva. Thank you so much. 4. Canva Walkthrough: Hey, everyone welcome to a new echan. In today's chan, I'm going to go through Canva. I'm going to give you a quick walk through of Canva, and we'll see what we can do. So basically, as you can see over here in the Canva window, you have a bunch of things that you can do. So Canva is saying over here that you might want to try. Whiteboard document, book cover, infographic, YouTube thumbnail, YouTube banner, Instagram post, all these things you can do. Then you can do Facebook post flyer, Instagram story. So you can do presentations over here as you can see the list of options over here. Then you can do social media stuff. You can edit photo, do Instagram post, Whatsapp status. You can do all of that. You can create some videos. You can create Facebook videos, Instagram, real TikTok video. And then you can create a website too, you have templates for creating a website. And as you can see, on the left hand side over here, you have a bunch of templates that you can use. You have templates for business, dogs presentation, prototypes, you have templates for social media, Facebook posts, et, Instagram posts, you have templates for video, Facebook video mobile video messages. You have templates for marketing, logos, flyers, business, et cetera. And now, I'll go back to home, and now we have certain number of apps, And the apps over here text to image, markups, AI presenters, dynamic codes, as you can see, text image over here, you can use it in a new design or you can use it in existing design. Let's say we want to create a Facebook cover, and Once you click on that, Canva will take you to a new window, and it'll give you a bunch of templates that are already there, which you can use. So that is more or less what Canva is all about. It's not a very complicated sort of layout. But like I said before, it's a very, very powerful software in spite of the fact that it's very easy to use. It's user friendly. And as you can see, everything is right over here, and you can find things really easily. Now, let's say we want to find something specific, go to the search bar and say, let's say, tyram post. And basically, what this will do is this will give you templates for Instagram posts. So all these templates for Instagram posts. Now you can create a completely new design or you can use an existing template. What we will do over here is we will use an existing templates so that it becomes easier for us to create something that looks awesome. That being said, thank you so much, and I'll see you in the next u 5. Create a Book Cover using Canva: Hey, everyone, welcome to a new elect chan. In today's chan, I'm going to show you how you can design a book cover in Canva, using the image we created using artificial intelligence. Now, let's go ahead and search for book cover in the search bar, and we book cover over here. And we have a bunch of templates. Now, some of these templates are free. Some of these templates are a part of the premium plan. What we need is a template that is not part of the premium plan. So, let's search for a template that is not part of the premium plan. And The one over here is not part of the premium plan. So I'm going to click on this. This is the template I'll be using. And as you can see v is recommending more templates like this, so let's take a look at this particular template, and let's design a book cover using this template. Now, why did I use a template? I used a template because template has everything nicely arranged. All you need to do is replace a few things. Now, if I had to create a book cover from scratch, I could do that too. But first, we'll see how to do it using a template. So first thing, first, we are going to go to the left hand panel over here. Over here, you have designs, you have designs over here different templates. We have elements. So you can add lines, shapes, graphics, stickers, photos, different photos that are that are royalty free, you can add videos, all of this, you can add frames. So all of this, you can add. Then you can add text. You can add a heading, a subheading, body text. So essentially, you can do that. Then you have some stuff that are basically specific to brands. You can draw. You have all the sketch pen options over here. You can draw somewhat like this. I'm going to erase this. Using the eraser. So you can draw. But what we need over here is to upload our image. As you can see, I've already one image uploaded. You can upload image videos audios. For the book cover, we'll need image. Click on upload files. Click on desktop over here or rather whatever you've stored your image. I stored my image on my desktop, which I usually do, and the image is loading. And now we have the image right over here, and what we need to do is we need to click on the image and drag it right over here. Now, as you can see, we have the image over here. Now I'm going to do some edits. Now, we have a text box right over here, right? As you can see, the place where my cursor is inside, we have a text. Called Notebook. You can change the position of the text box in the cover. I'm going to put it right down here. And what I'm going to do is I'm going to change the color of the text and change the text itself. It's called Notebook now. Let's name it Dino. That is the name of the book Dino. Now, highlight this text. Go to the text color option over here and select a different color. Let's say we want glue. Let's say yellow. Yellow does not look good. Let's go for orange, and let's change the font. Over here, you have a number of fonts, what you can use depends on you, and I'm going to use archivo black because I want the text to be bold. I can now add some effects to animate all of that. But if you do that, then you cannot save your book cover as a JPG or PNG file as an image file. Then you have to save it as a GIF. But I can add some effects to the writing. So let's add a neon effect right over here. And I've added a neon effect right over here. Now, as you can see over here, we have some different pictures over here. I don't want a flower picture, and I'm going to edit the image over here and I'm going to add something different so that this flower looks better. Not this one. I'm going to use stripy. And it's changing the image right over here, as you can see the image is now brighter. Let's click on the image again and change the color of the image. Let's make it red. Or let's make it yellow. Now I have a yellow image. I can do the same for the other images. I can edit image over here. I can change the color. I can flip the image, I can flip it horizontally. Let me change the color so that you can see this better. Let me make this blue, as you can see the flower is blue right now, I can flip it vertically. Now I'll flip it horizontally. Let's flip it horizontally and flip it vertically, perfect. But I don't like these images as such in this book cover. I'm going to delete them. Okay. And there are some other images. I'm going to delete them too. As you can see, I'm clicking on the images, and then is core giving me the option to duplicate or delete. I'm deleting them. As you can see, I have a book cover for a book called Dino. Now, let's change the position of the name of the book. And what we can do is we can click on position over here. We can change the alignment. Let's make it left aligned. Well, let's make it middle aligned, and you can change the width of the image. You can change the height of the image, et cetera. Let's change the width. Let's make it $1,300 less bring it down over here. But now, as you can see, I have a nice image, I have a nice title that looks good. Let me add some other effects. To make it look good. I'll increase the intensity of the effect of the neon effects so that it stands out on the screen. And I'm going to add a background and I'm going to make it somewhat transparent. I'm going to change the transparency so that it's not completely opaque or not completely transparent. But now I need to add the name of the author because without the name of the author, you cannot have a book. So I'm going to go to text, and I'm going to go to add heading. As you can see a box has appeared over here. I'm going to click on the text over here. I'm going to highlight it and delete the text, and I'm going to put a name for the author. Let's say designer is the name of the author. The name of the book will go above right over here, and the name of the author will come below. Shift the book name a bit higher and the book author is called by Designer. Let's Change the font size for this one. Let's make it a bit different. Let's use the Bokhari script over here. As you can see, it's looking kind of different right now. Change the font size two and make it smaller hundred is perfect. Let's change the color and make it yellow or let's say blue. Now, I don't particularly like the highlight over here, what I'm going to do is I'm going to go to X again and I'm going to make the highlight completely transparent. Perfect. And as you can see, we have a book cover that looks nice and it can look better depending on what you're doing with the image. So be specific when you're generating the image using artificial intelligence because that'll help you to create an image that looks beautiful that stands out, that is bespoke. So that is how you do a book cover using a template. Now, let's go back to home. Or first, let me show you how to download. This click on Share Okay. Click on download right over here, and you can choose the file type for download. Use JPG and click on download and it's downloading. And I'll take a bit of time to download and it's completed. I'm downloading it. Nice. Looks nice. As you can see the book cover has been downloaded right over here. This is the book cover. Now, let's go back to Home's do another book cover. Okay. And this time, I'm going to do it from scratch. I'm choosing no templates for this one. I'm choosing a blank page for this one. First thing, first, go to upload. You have the file over here. Yes, click drag and drop. You have the thing, you have the entire image over here. Click on text, click on Add heading the heading will be Do It's in black right now. We can change this. Let's use some other funds over here. Okay. Let's use another color. Let's make it yellow. Let's increase the font size to 140. Let's change the font type, let's use another font. Let's use Aton. Let's go to and let's use the glitch effect right now. This is what we have. The name of the book Dyn further, author name, let me add some graphics. Let me add a line first. Now, this line will be, what did I do? I sell clicked on the line over here and dragged it and dropped it on the book cover. This line, I'm going to choose line color, let's make this red, and let's increase the line weight so that it's deep red. Now that we have this position, you can change, you can make it middle aligned, like this. You can make it top. You can make it porton. I do not like any of this. I'm going to click on it, drag it just below the name of the book. Now I'm going to write the name of the author, and for that, I'm going to use a square right over here. I'll show you what I'll do with the square. Now, let's first reshape the square. Square has a brown background now, and I'm going to change that brown background to white. So what did I do? I clicked on the square. I went to the background color, and then I'm going to change it to you can change the shape too. You can make it rounded like this. You can make it triangular. You can make it circular, as you can see over here. I've made it circular and less keep it as a circle. Because this kind of looks good. Now I'm going to include some text in this. What I'm going to do is I'm going to add a subheading. I'm going to click on the sub heading right over here, and I'm going to drag and drop it inside the circle. And the name I deleted it by mistake, so I'm going to click on the Serb heading option. Sledge sub heading option again. Now I'm going to edit this and name the author call simple, small name that fits inside the circle or the semicircle in this case. And I'm going to change the color the entire color. I'm going to highlight the text, the entire text, and then I'm going to change the color and make it purple. N Paul is the writer and does the name of the book, and that is what you can do with text and elements. Now I want something interesting so that it draws in kids. Something animated. And what I'll do is I'll add a graphics. Over here, as you can see you have lines and shapes, you have graphics, you have stickers, your videos, et. So I'm going to add a Tumbbgraphics. That's too big for my liking, so I'm going to reduce the size of this graphic and keep it over here, and I'm going to add a camera right over here. Now, as you can see, we have a new book cover. Now, we won't be able to save this book cover as a PNG or JPG image. I'll show you why. Click on download. Okay. You can save this as a GIF because there's some animation over here. You can save this as MP four, because again, there's some animation over here right over here. If you save it as JPG, it will not save the animation. So the camera will become just a still camera. It'll not bounce up and down, as you can see in the animation right over here. The camera is bouncing up and down. So if you save it as PG or as an image, it will not save the animation, but we want it as an image, so we'll save it as an image. And let's see what we get. And as you can see over here, we have a new picture. And this is the book cover we generated. It's called Dino is by N Paul. You have a nice thumbs up sign over here, and the camera right over here. As you can see, it's no longer animated, it's not bouncing up and down. So this is the book cover we created. So that's all for this video, in the next video. In the next lecture, I'll show you how you can create an Instagram post. Thank you so much. 6. Create an Instagram Post using Canva: Hey, everyone, welcome to a new lecture and in today's lecture, I'm going to show you how to create Instagram posts. Now the benefit of knowing how to create Instagram posts is that if you know how to create Instagram post, you can create Facebook posts, you can create Twitter posts. So it's more or less the same kind of process, and as you see, similar to the process which we use to create a book cover. So first thing I'm going to do is search for Instagram posts. And this will hit enter. This will give me a few templates that I can hopefully use to create Instagram post. Now, I'm going to use a basic template. And the template I'm using is the white modern aesthetic right over here. Click on this. Then click on customize this template. And the template is loading and it has loaded. Now, what we have over here is a picture in the background, and the picture basically has some text written on it. Now what we are going to do is we've delete this picture. And we're going to delete the flowers over here, click on them, and click on the Trash icon, and we're going to keep the text boxes. Text box where set, be comforted, dear soul, et cetera, and the text box, which shows from where the text of the coat was taken. Now, go to the left panel, click on Upload. Click on the Dinosaur picture and drag it. And place it in the workspace. Now you have some text box over here and the text boxes have texts that are not very legible or visual visible right now. What I'm going to do is I'm going to go to elements. And then I'm going to select a graphic. I'm going to select the square box over here. What I'll do is I'll increase the size of the square box so that it encompasses the entire text and the name of the website from which the code was taken, and I'm going to change the color of the text box. In fact, let's change the box itself, let's make it square. Then what I'll do is I'll change the color of the text box to gray. Lsterlight blue looks better, fits the theme. Now I'm going to edit the text. Delete it, double click on it, delete it, highlighted, delete it and say Dios. Essentially, you can say anything you want to say because it's going to be your Instagram post, Dios for each other. So we must learn from them and not repeat the mistake. Dianosp each other, so we can learn from them and not repeat the mistake. That's what I have written in the text box. Now, in the Other box where the name of the website was given, let's attribute this quote to Mr. N Paul. Who is a fictional character? Let's highlight Mr. N Paul over here and increase the font size of the text. And we can do the same with the quotation, increase the font size a bit. Now we have a nice code over here and we're going to increase the size of the box. Now, you can do a couple of things with this sort of setup. What you can do is you can select the text box. Control click if you're using a mac or right click if you're using a Windows computer. Control click and right click, and you have this list over here. Now you can can lay the text boxes, the images, everything. What you can do is you can bring it to the front, you can send it backwards. You can bring it forward, send it back. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to send it backwards. As you can see, the text has been sent backwards. Now, how do we retrieve this? Quite simple. Click on the text box again. Or rather click on the box that contained the text and click on the text box that was hidden behind that box and then go to layer and click on bring to front. And now that now we are going to put the text put the box behind the text box or rather the background for the text back where it was the square box that we created. And as you can see, the text has been brought back to the front. I'm going to adjust to adjust it a bit and we can change the font size. We can change the color. We can change the font. We can do a lot of different things. Let's make it bold because I like bold stuff. Let's make it bold. This has increased the size of the text. So I'm going to do some adjustments. Perfect. And this N pol name, I'm going to make it bold two, and I'm going to make some adjustments to where it is placed, which I can obviously do from X two or position two. Now let's click on this and let's click on X, and let's make the name on, and let's make the text over here on two. I did this by clicking on fx but it's not looking good with the neon kind of effect. So I'm going to change it to cool. Again, it's not looking good, change it to echo. Looks perfect. And now what we can do is we can click on this and we can animate this. So we can tell Canva whether the text pans in, it rises, it pops. It wipes, it breathes baseline drift, et, etcetera. Whether it looks like a typewriter writing. So let's click on typewriter. The text is being displayed one word at a time. Let's click on the other text box. Go to animate again, and let's click on. Let's go to animate again. And let's click on pop. Animate on it. Or animate on enter or animate both on exist exit and enter. You can do all of this. You can change the speed of the animation, so you can do a ton of different things. So you cannot change the speed of the animation using the free version. For that, you need the pro version, but you can basically animate. So I've assigned, I've attached typewriter animation to the text. So the text basically appears one word at a time, and the name pops up. That is the animation I've given it. Now, let's add some animation to the text box, and the text box basically, let's say it It bands in. On Enter, pans in on Enter. It's not looking that great. So let's give it. Let's go to rise and click on Rs. Well, again, it's not looking that great, so we can use the animation over here. You can assign the pop animation to the text box. And now we have animated it. That is how you animate text or animate figures or elements or shapes or pictures, et in Canva. Now you can animate the entire background picture two. Let's make this drift in. I've animated the background picture. So what did I do? I clicked on it. Then I clicked on Animate, and then I assigned an animation. I can remove the animation from the background picture. As you can see, now it's no longer animated, but I want to animate it, so I'm going to click on animate. And I'm going to assign pan in or pop. I like pop better. I'm going to click on pop the entire Flick Censtogram post has been animated. Now, let's say, I want to use a sticker on this. Let's see what stickers we have available. It's a book cover that you're putting on Instagram, so let's use the book sticker. Let's click on it, drag and drop it on the Instagram post that we have over here. Let's produce the size over here so that it's smaller. Click on this. You can change the position. You can move it to the middle, you can move it to the top, you can move it to the bottom right over here, using the position option. Click on the position button and do that. You can crop and make it 16 by nine, or you can make it one is one, I'll keep it one to one. Click on done. You can flip this, click on flip, flip horizontally. You can do that too. So that is what you can do with the sticker. And the transparency thing, you can change, you can make it more transparent. And you can change, you can copy the style, you can do a lot of different things. Basically what we have is an animated Instagram post over here. What I'm going to do with this is I'm going to share this, and I'll download this first and then I'll manually upload it to Instagram or rather you can manually upload whatever you have made to Instagram. Click on GIF and click on download. So we are saving this as GIF. So downloading, And this will take a bit of time. So just be a bit patient. So as you can see, you can make similar posts for Facebook Twitter and it follows the same kind of process, the same sort of tools are used. The tools remain the same. The templates change. But you can animate, you can add different pictures that you have created. You can add stickers, you can animate the text like I did in this particular Instagram post, and you get a nice animated Instagram post that you can upload. You can save this as an MP four, or you can save this as a GIF. I've saved it as a GIF. Let's take a look at how this looks. All this has not downloaded. So let's see if this has been downloaded now. There's some problem with the GIF download. So what I'll do is I'll go ahead and download this as an MP four. But you should be able to download it as a GIF. And then we'll take a look at what we have created. And if you don't want animation, you can just create a plain old picture with text on it with some different shapes on it, with some stickers on it. But this makes it look much better. In the next lecture, I'm going to show you how to create a Tu thumb nail. Now, for thumbnails, you don't need animation. You don't need to create any sort of animation stickers and stuff like that. It's a plain simple. Use a picture. Use a template and create a thumbnail. That's what we will do in the next lecture, and now it has been downloaded. As you can see, we have the post right over here with the animation and everything. It's eight second post. Dinos for each other, everything, you can see right over here. That is how you create an Instagram post. That's about it for this lecture. 7. Creating a YouTube thumbnail using Canva: Hey, everyone, welcome to a new elect channel in today's lecture, I'm going to show you how to make YouTube thumbs. The thumbnails are very important for YouTube because they should tell the audience what the video is all about. And they should be eye catching. They should be attractive so that it can draw audiences. But when it comes to thumbnails, you cannot add a lot of animations. You can add some effects, but you cannot add a lot of animations and stuff like that. So it has to be a JPG picture, simple picture. But what we need for creating a nice thumb line is a picture that explains what the video is all about, and a nice template which Canva is going to provide us with. YouTube thumb mail. Search for this and Kanva will propose some templates. Now let's do this from scratch. Shall we instead of using a template. Let's do this from scratch. Oh, I've had a change of heart. Let's use a template. Let's use a template, and let's see what we can make out of it. I have to select a template that fits our theme. You have a lot of travel blog and stuff like that templates over here. We'll use this particular template. It's a simple template. We are going to keep this picture, the picture of the man over here. What we are going to delete is the background image. So we have deleted this and what we are going to delete are these stripes right over here. We'll delete all of this and we'll keep the text. We'll go to up next and then we're going to drag and drop this entire picture. Okay. Okay. Right on the workspace over the template that we had. We're going to click on this man's picture, let's say this man is Paul. Now he's not obviously is someone from somewhere, but let's say this man is the man who is making a video about dinosaurs or dinos who can ply and eat each other up. Let's click on this picture. Control click or right click and click on bring to front. Now, what we're going to do is we're going to place the background image where it was. Now, what we can do with this picture is we can make this smaller. And we can drag this to the bottom right corner so that it does not take up a lot of real estate, and then we can change the text. We can edit the text. Let's call this dinos ping. That's the video we're making and the maker of the video is N. Now we can change the color, we can change the font already showing you how to do all of that, make we'll make the color of N P. Let's say we make it plaque. And then we'll pull the text boxes to the side of the middle of the image or middle of the thumbnail. Unless on further reflection, let's make the color of N Paul orange because orange seems to go well with this background. Unlets say we're trying to create a video for kids, so it has to be colorful. We'll make the title of the video Dinos flying orange two. And this man's picture, as you can see over here, we can rotate. What did I do? I clicked on the picture and went down here to the rotation tool and you can rotate it as much as you want. But we'll keep it as it was. Again, click on the picture and go to the rotation tool right over where my cursor is hovering. We'll keep this man's picture right over there, and we have named the video Dinos flying. Now let's go ahead and add some effects to this and then we'll leave it at that. We'll add the neon effect just to attract people and we'll pull the name of the video creator N p or name of the channel N pol down to the bottom, and we're going to add some effects to that too. We're going to make it neon two, so that it pops up the dinos flying. So there are a lot of things you can do, and this is what you can do to create a Tuethumbnil. It's not rocket science. It's a fairly simple process. Like I said, you can rotate stuff. You can add new stuff, you can change the template that you're using. You can change the picture over here, the picture of the man over here with your own picture that you already have. You can change the background picture to something that you're making a video about. Let's pull this library picture right over here. And as you can see, I replace the background picture with the library picture, but I don't want that. I want to keep this as it is. And you can change the name of the video. You can do a lot of different things. So we'll leave it at that. Thank you so much. Thank you for watching in the next video, I'll discuss the project. Thank you so much. 8. Final Project : Hey, everyone, welcome to the last lecture for the artificial intelligence and graphic design to create awesome cover images, social media posts and thumbnails, lecture series. And in today's lecture, I'm going to talk about the final project. So the instructions for the final project are kind of like this. You have to create an artificial intelligence generated image using the birds building their nest prompt. So the prompt you're going to use on being image creator or any other artificial intelligence driven image creator will be birds building their nest. So that is your prompt. Now, once you have the artificial intelligence generated images, go to Canva and create a book cover in Canva. Add your necessary material to the book cover, including name of the book, and that can be a name of your choice and add some auth name. And then using the same artificial intelligence generated image, create an animated Instagram post, as you saw in the lecture where I created an animated Instagram post. And finally, create an YouTube thumbnail. And then once you're done, upload the book cover Instagram post YouTube thumbnail to this platform. That's all best to pluck. I'll see you in some other course. Thank you so much.
