1. Introduction: Hello everyone. Welcome to my class. Thank you for those who watch my previous video. I hope you enjoyed it. Today, I'd like to teach you how to make these two traditional Japanese container boxes. These are both made from one sheet of origami paper. I used a design paper. Of course, they can be made from normal colored paper. I hope you'll enjoy it. Now let's get going. 2. Box1: Okay, Let's start making the very traditional Japanese container box. Color side down, white side up, fold in half into a rectangle. And then open it up. Rotate and fold it in half. Again. Open it up. And now you have a horizontal and vertical creases. Fold it in half into a triangle. Open it up. Rotate, fold it in half into triangle again, fold it in half into a smaller triangle. Then open the upper layer, flattened into a square. Turn it over. Do the same with the other side. Open and flatten. Make sure that the open corner is at the bottom. Take the right upper corner and folded into the middle Do the same with the left side. Now open the right part, we folded earlier and flatten the top part so that it becomes a small triangle. Do the same with the left part. Turn it over and repeat what we did with the other side. Now, turn over the right top layer. Takes the right bottom corner and bring it to the middle to match the vertical line. Do the same with the left bottom corner. Turn it over. Turn over at the right top layer. And repeat what we did earlier. Bring the right side and the left side into the middle. Take the top layer at the bottom. And fold the white part up. Turnover and do the same Turn over the right top layer And do the same with the bottom part. Fold it up turnover the left layers twice And for the remaining bottom part up. Now put your finger inside and open the box up carefully. Now you have the very traditional Japanese container box. 3. Box2: Now let's start making another type of box. Color side at the bottom, white side up, fold it in half into a rectangle. Open it up. Rotate, folded in half into rectangle again. And open it up. Now for the four corners into the center. Again, bring the four corners into the center and fold. Now fold up the bottom line to the vertical line in the middle and make a firm crease. And then open it up. Rotate and do the same for the remaining three edges. And open up the small triangles in the middle, along on the creases we've just made. Open up the upper layers into the corners. Now next part might be a bit tricky. We're going to accordion fold the triangle into four. To make it easier, you can draw three lines in the triangle before folding. Do the same with the other three corners. Now carefully open up the four corners and the four edges into a three-dimensional object. Put your finger inside the four corners and make a soft crease. Make a square crease in the middle. Now it's completed. 4. Ending: Thank you very much for watching my video. I hope you enjoyed it. Please let me know if there's anything you are unsure of If you get stuck during my video. Also, please don't hesitate to reach out if there's anything you're interested in making. I'll make plans for the upcoming videos based on the request. I hope to see in the next video. Bye.
