Another interesting and inspiring class by Elisabeth.  Once again, when I got started making these scenes with  magazine images it was hard to stop. They really don't look much like Salvador Dali's surreal landscapes but I had fun making them. Juxtaposition is one of my favorite way to create.

This was my first attempt. 

This is the 2nd one I made. I was experimenting with different glues to adhere the collage pieces and I ended up totally ruining her face.  I tried to recreate it with gouache paint and it didn't turn out quite right. I used Pan Pastels on pastel paper for the background.
